Nice and beautiful beach to spend some time. Nice day time canping and beautiful view of beach. Clean washrooms and a decent amount of parking space.
My husband, my 5 year old granddaughter and I camped in Lakeview campground in August. We enjoyed our spacious power site, though we're "grouped" with our neighbours, which was a bit weird, at first, but my granddaughter made a friend and it turned out to be alright. I don't think anyone was impressed with the not well done, amplified karaoke a few sites down that went on through-out the day and well into the night (definitely past quiet time). The camp host was great, her scavenger hunt was a ton of fun and we wished we had more time to do her crafts, but I do wish she had done a bit of touring the area and put a stop to the loud karaoke. The the lake was very low and swimming was not recommended, but it was beautiful and still a great place to explore, especially during the evening when it was quiet. The path system throughout the area and to Brewers campground (where we found the huge amounts of delicious ice cream - also appreciated that there was a dairy free option) was awesome! We will definitely be back to that area again. Maybe we'll go a bit earlier in the summer next time so we can enjoy some swimming, too.
This campsite was pretty nice, but had some inconveniences. On the upside, there are power outlets, picnic tables, and fire pits at every spot, there are a few washrooms and showers scattered throughout the campsite, there is a FANTASTIC ice cream parlor on the beach, and their beach has tons of space with soft sand and a great view. All of these aspects made our trip worthwhile. However, the washroom closest to our spot was horrifically filthy (covered in dead flies, pee and mud) and the outlets in there didn't work. Thankfully, the washroom at the beach is spotless and pleasant but was far from our spot. The camping spots also have very little privacy and are quite cramped. If you have curious pets or children, you'll want to keep a close eye on them because of how easy it is to step into someone else's spot. Overall, our trip was good with occasional inconvenience.
Great beach and the water was amazing! The water wasn’t cold like other lakes add as well as not deep. we did fishing as well. Amazing weekend spent but their regular washrooms are closed due to covid although they do have mobile washroom! There was a small grocery store available. Road was nice. Highly recommended for camping or a day trip. Not too crowded as well. So many birds and natural beauty at its best! Will go again soon. Perfect place to do bbq!!!
A beautiful beach that has a lot of parking, and beach area. Perfect for a picnic or camping. Not too far off the QE2. I'd recommend getting to the beach before 11 or noon to get a good parking spot. The water is nice with a few weeds here and there but not too scummy. No blue green algae at the time we went. You can walk out a fair distance in the water before it gets deep which is great for kids. The beach also has bathrooms, running water from taps outdoors, and a playground. Just a overall great place for a beach day
Clean beach with provincial park maintenance. 🌲🌳🏖️🔥🏊‍♀️🚻⛵ Bathrooms on site are maintained. No running water to was hands, use sanitizer or water pumps between camp sites. "Push to open" garbage cans and blue bins are easily accessible throughout the public day area. Please use them and clean up all your gear and garbage at the end of your visit. Don't want any fines! Security is next level, park wardens driving up and down the road every 20-30 minutes. (White truck) 🛻🔍 No dogs unfortunately on the beach and surrounding grass. Pets only allowed on picnic sites designated. 🐕🐾 Gull Lake water is cool and refreshing. It can be crowded at the day use area on weekends.
He is another beautiful spot at a good lwhen we visited here. It was too windy, but overall, it was worth it. People brought their own tents and camps. It has limited parking public Washroom handicap parking access. There is no supervisor on this site for swimming, so you have to take all safety measures. They mentioned swimming at your own risk. Follow the rules and stay safe. Keep an eye on kids. I saw some people brought Barbeque but due to windy they were unable to enjoy. Check the weather before you arrive so you know what gear is required
Nice long beach, clean sand, shallow water so boats can't get too close and children wont drown. Nice grassy area for picnic and relaxing or sun bathing or games. Cons: outhouses, windy, seagulls.

Beautiful lake very calm and relaxing, it’s good place for you and your family getaway and enjoy your time, lot of sands which is perfect for kids to play with , and there is also a play ground and very clean washrooms. Parking is 15$ per day and you can also pay hourly.
We love this lake. The water is shallow which keeps the water warmer. Nice sandy beaches!
Beautiful beach, with trailer camping. Lots of lots for sale. The beach sand is nice, the water has lots of seaweed and the water floor is mushy when you walk out a bit. Definitely a floaty beach ⛱️
The lake bottom is mucky and smelly, but Beautiful sand beach for the kids to play on. Bathrooms which is always a plus and a little playground. Way better then the usual sylvan lake business. I will be back.
Gull Lake is a beautiful and serene destination perfect for a relaxing getaway. The lake's clear waters are ideal for swimming, kayaking, and fishing, while the surrounding parks offer great spots for picnicking and hiking. The sunsets over the lake are absolutely stunning, providing a picturesque view that you won't forget. The area is well-maintained and offers various amenities, making it a great place for families and nature lovers alike. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the natural beauty of Alberta!
This beach is very nice! Dogs are allowed on leash. We got here and there was someone grooming the beach with a tractor, and you can tell everything is very well taken care of. We took our dog, who enjoyed himself. There were several other well behaved dogs on leash as well. It wasn't super busy, which was nice.
First time visiting this beach and was not disappointed! Very well maintained beach with soft sand - perfect for building sandcastles. Plenty of room on the beach to set up a tent and enjoy the day. Will definitely come back!
Nice clean, shallow, sandy beach with lots of parking. Nice shower/change facility on the beach, ample parking and a playground with water table right on the beach. Would be nice to have amenities to purchase on site.

I great place to visit with three buildings filled with artifacts and interesting finds from the area. The geology exhibit has some especially cool and well preserved fossils. Admission by donation, so make sure to come with cash!
We visited the museum on Canada Day. There was cake and a demonstration of animal carvings with a chainsaw. Everyone was so welcoming and knowledgeable. The museum is well incredibly maintained with a great variety of artifacts. Thanks guys!
Very nice display of local history very nice people working there as well
Little town, lots of history. Lots to see. Worth the stop, so come on by!

Leslie created my wedding bouquet, two bridesmaids' bouquet, boutonnieres, and corsages for my wedding day. She is incredibly talented. I sent her inspiration photos for bouquet flowers, and she went above and beyond expectations! The bouquets were absolutely beautiful and even lasted a week after the wedding! I also ran into a problem where another florist could not provide ivory roses for centerpieces I was going to make. Last minute, Leslie was able to deliver the roses I needed. I am so thankful for her help. Leslie was easy to communicate with and I would recommend her for all your wedding florals.
If you haven’t been here yet, you are missing out! The vibe is magical and the shopping experience is a true pleasure. So many different products, lots of them local! From bath and body to home decor and the best chocolates around. Oh, and plants - so many awesome plants! I was so happy to find this treasure when I moved to Bentley a couple of years ago.
adorable little store!! she made me a bouquet in a couple minutes within my small budget! Love to support awesome local places like this! 10/10 would recommend and will be back!
Leslie did the flowers for my wedding and was spot on with what I had envisioned. She was easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to help the day of to take that extra stress off of me. Would not have wanted anyone else to help make our day that much more special!
The minute you walk into Earthy Accents, you take a deep breath and say "AHHHH". There is something about being surrounded by green plants in a calming environment with tiny birds chirping that calms your nerves no matter how stressed you might be. Leslie gives great service whether you are looking for a flower arrangement or looking for a plant that even your brown thumb can't kill. She's the reason that my house is starting to look like a jungle. It is a weekly stop for me if not more often. LOVE IT.
Big shout out and thanks for the mist stunning bouquet for my granddaughters grad. Received do many compliments on the arrangement, the best one from Hailey "That's the most gorgeous bouquet of flowers I have seen!". Thankyou so much Earthy Accents
This is the best flower shop and plant store I’ve ever been to. I always make a special drive out from an hour away because no one’s service and variety are as good as Earthy Accents. Lesley is so warm and friendly and goes out of her way to educate you on how to care for the plants you’re bringing home. Her prices are fair and her plants are so healthy!
Beautiful store! Warm and cozy feeling with the smell of flowers. Best mittens I have ever tried on!

Great place !! We took our 3 kids out and had a great day ! I ended up refunding my pass and rental equipment (as I was just helping our youngest get used to his ski's) they gave me a refund with no problem and really made us feel very welcomed. The food is great, good prices and all the staff are so friendly. They also offer lessons. We will definitely be going back more often :)
Great hills, but everything is old and creaky. Don't expect a chairlift here, you have a rope tow, two handle tows, and a T-bar from the sixties that simply works, nothing special to it. And some of the runs want to kill you.
We are so lucky to have this ski hill close by. The staff are awesome, the hill is perfect for beginner skiiers and a family outing!
Its a fun family friendly ski hill.
Beautiful place. Amazing.

Monkey Top Saloon in Bentley, AB, is an absolute gem! The biker-friendly vibe, combined with its warm and welcoming atmosphere, creates the perfect setting for a great pit stop while enjoying two wheel therapy. And let's not forget about their amazing caesars – they're top-notch! I can't recommend this place enough; it's a must-visit spot for anyone seeking a great time. Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
A rustic saloon setting with great pub style food. Our server was great and very busy. The prices were reasonable and the inside was clean, low lit, and laid back. Known as a great pit stop for bikers and post golf games. A interesting place to stop by for a quick bite, date night or take out. Dine outside during the summer months. We had sandwiches and got a pizza to go and it was delicious! I suggest adding this little restaurant to your road side stops on a road trip. Bentley is such a cute little community!
I hadn't been to the Monkey Top in several years, but I was driving home and ended up going through Bentley around 8:00 at night on a Wednesday evening and decided to stop for a late supper. So glad I did! I guess it was wing night and it was very busy, but we were able to find a table right away. The server was super busy but she still got us seated, took our drink order, and when we were ready, our food order. I had the wings (salt and pepper), my traveling companion had the Chicken Caesar. Both were good, about what you'd expect. What was nice about the evening was the atmosphere. It was a mixed crowd of the older generation and your basic 20- thru 40-somethings, loud, but not so crazy that you couldn't have a conversation; just a nice place to spend an hour and a bit on a Wednesday evening. Added bonus: the Blue Jays game was on!
really enjoyed the nachos, loved the decor and lighting as well, was very pretty. Bit of a wait for our orders but was also a bit of a busier night it seemed, so wasn't much of an issue as i work with food and understand the rushes.
I've had some of the best, heartiest meals in small town restaurants, cafes and bars. Food and service at the Monkey Top was great. The Pizza was fantastic. I couldn't even finish the small one; I took the last piece home.
We had lunch here for the first time. What struck me was how many people were there at 11:30 am on a Sunday. It was not packed but it was a going concern. It's a fun atmosphere. The food was good and so was the service. We had the pulled pork sandwich and it tasted as good as home made. Very enjoyable visit. Now we'll need to go back and try more of their menu items.
Be sure to try the Deep Fried Cheese Curds with your warm beer (lager temperature level need to be taken seriously).
Want a true blue rural Alberta meal? This is the place to go and you can make a day of it to visit all the cute Bentley shops. The staff are amazing and the food and drinks fantastic
