Beautiful property to explore, with many buildings and exhibits. Very friendly staff in the charming gift store and restaurant.
A beautiful country property with a little mermaid in the pond and adorable mini Danish church. The grounds are so well kept. The cafe food was authentic and so good! Totally worth the drive. We had 4 x sandwiches and 3 desserts. All of it was fantastic. The gift shop had Danish candies and treats, as well as various Danish collectibles for Xmas etc. The staff were so friendly! 10/10 recommend.
I attend the aebleskiver event every year with my danish family (we do a family reunion each year) and it’s such a great event every year. My great grandmothers stuff is in the museum which is rotated for display. I love the historical buildings and garden. I honestly hope this place is around forever and I will always support them. My baby loved the food haha
A great place to spend an hour or two and learn about Danish history. PS. This is un update after our 4th visit. We attended the "Viking Days" event in August. It was a blast! Great experiences, awesome people, absolutely loved it! A big thank you to all the involved in running and managing this site
A walking active health hazard, don’t get me wrong the exhibits are interesting enough it’s the safety is the question, I remember being in the basement and seeing multiple dead mice around were the food is stored, speaking of the basement it’s like Chernobyl down there, so many cob webs mold and dead things it will actually make you wanna hurl, another thing I should point out is that some of the older buildings like the CPR and Thompson house have a mold problem I remember cleaning them out and the smell was like a brick wall, couldn’t walk 2 feet without gagging not even sure all of it was taken care of. So yea I wouldn’t visit or eat at this place unless you want food poisoning or a trip to the ER
What a wonderful surprise this outdoor museum is! So calm and quiet and you can visit all the buildings at your own pace. The cafe on site is incredible with amazing traditional Danish food. They also have an adorable gift store where you can buy all sorts of Danish gifts and food products. A must try in central Alberta!!
We went to a Viking festival there. That was so fun. Then we wandered around and explored. It was fun looking for faces in the trees and folwing the stories of Hans Christian Anderson. The Viking ship and architecture made it a fun afternoon.
What a awesome place! The gardens are super beautiful, the food is delicious and the service is great. The place is fantastic to learn about Danish culture and Vikings. We definitely will be back.

It's a very nice campground with some sites very secluded in the trees. The lazy river running through the park was nice and relaxing and a good place to take kids tubing. It moves fairly slow and isn't very deep in most places. There was lots of trails to walk and we had a great time with a group of family and friends
Best group camping spot we have been to so far. Spacious lots, fields to set up games and events in, the river was pleasant and very close by. Amenities were within close walking distance. Our group loved it and will be coming again next year!
It's quiet, with very spacious day use sites and clean washrooms. Wasps inhabit the park in massive numbers so keep your fruits and drinks covered, or bring a swatter with you if you are feeling brave and want to pick a fight with these parasitic critters.
Redlodge is a beautiful place to camp, nice play ground, dumping station, fresh water for drinking, bathrooms, firewood on site, clean campsites, I just wish there was a little more gravel on the sites. When it rains it makes things really muddy. But I would definitely camp there again 👍👍❤️
This is one of my favourite provincial camping spots. Quiet and lots of trees, the creek is a great spot to cool off on a hot day!
Great place to camp, close to a few cities. The river is fun to float very low water and speed. They have great group sites and some power hooks up in others.
We really like this campground. Unfortunately, the spot we picked had no trees separating us from our temporary neighbors. Lack of privacy. If I could make a suggestion, please reopen the showers.
Our favorite campground. Well treed. Great sites. And the river can be lazily floated end to end in 20 minutes.

I photographed a wedding here ( Kathleen's Diamond Photography ) back in 2018 and this is a great place for a wedding, there are so many backgrounds for different photos... I been going to this location since I was 11 years old, in fact my whole family has been going here until 2021... Many many years of memories are here & something I wont ever forget, the food is great, pools are good, the lake is awesome..! Can't wait to come back & we visit friends of the lake...
We live here full time since 1998, it is a place you don’t need a vacation from
Wonderful golf course development on man-made Gleniffer Lake. Fairways are wide and green with those water magnets ready to suck down your golf balls. Thanks to those wonderful ladies who staff the Pro Shop I enjoy my visit every time I am on site. My apologies to the Lady running the Lodge - I couldn't stay for the Karaoke - it would have been a slice!
The restaurant is a hidden gem. The chef has some creative dishes. The yakitori bowl is outstanding.
Awesome place they just got a new big dock and redid the pool inside and outside at the landing and they got better security my family has been here for like 40 years and its great but it would be nice if phase one had water all year round
Great year round resort. Lots to do and some really fabulous people.
I like living here. Good staff & wonderful neighbors. Nice amenities. Lovely lake.
Great resort! Fantastic lake.
