Warm and wonderful atmosphere in this small local shop. It was full of people just wandering through and soaking in all the unique things that were on display. I was drawn in by all the handmade items that were available and found a few perfect Christmas gifts I know I couldn't have found anywhere else. Highly recommend stopping in and seeing for yourself just what you've been missing.
Am I the only one that’s fallen off the steps on the inside and hurt myself? 🫣💀 love the products though. Tons of products & goodies featured from local artists. I especially love looking at the stained glass art. Great location too. Just be sure to watch out for the steps as it’s easy to get distracted by the art as soon as you walk in and not see the sign..
There’s always something new to see whenever you go in! This store makes gift shopping so easy, as there is such a huge selection of locally made items. I love being able to support local and this store makes it so easy. The staff are always very friendly, too.
Such a great local spot, sooooo many unique gifts, tons of variety. Cute store. Love that you are supporting small, Alberta businesses (and mostly women owned) when you shop here!
What a gem in the heart of downtown. The variety of local artisans and products is great, their inclusive collections are fantastic! Staff are so super friendly and lovely. Great little place!
This is an amazing shop! I have been a vendor for six months now and just love having my products at the PDOM. Very reasonable fees and the 4 owners always go above and beyond to promote and support. The shop displays are very well done and the store itself is easy to get to with front on-street parking. Do not hesitate to stop in and see it all for yourself or apply to be a lucky vendor!
I love to visit the Painted Door. There are so many talented artist showcasing their beautiful work. I often purchase things when I go here. Some of the things I like to purchase are Handmade pins, upcycled from Spoons and forks, they are just adorable. I've also gotten Jewelry from the same concept. Loose leaf tea from the Vintage Fork is amazing! You can smell before purchasing, as there are sample jars! Great idea. There's some beautiful artwork, along with stained glass ornaments and window hangers. Cards and post cards, handmade stuffed animals, stickers, there's some clothing and perfumes with crystals in the bottle, that will definitely be my next purchase! There's just too much to list but it's a lovely little place with a very friendly staff! Definitely worth stopping by from time to time as the inventory changes with re stock and the seasons of course. Love it there.
I've been driving past this store every time I go to Beaumont and finally checked out their website and found that it is definitely a store I want to go to in person. It appears to have locally made crafts and I will have to go in next time I'm in Beaumont to actually give a better review. Does not look like it has alot of parking space although it's right off the main street through the town.
