Great small town museum. The collection is extensive and well presented. To see everything give yourself a couple of hours. My wife and I really enjoyed our visit here. There are washrooms available here that are clean and well lit. There is lots of parking spaces available. There is a small entry fee of $5 per person but well worth it. There is a lot of unique items on display that I have not seen at other small town museums. There is a lot of old farm equipment outside and a old house that was brought in to be on display and restored. When in St Paul you should definitely come here and then close by is the St Paul UFO 🛸 landing pad.
No indication anywhere that they are only open daily from mid June to September long weekend until you read the sign on the gate which is locked. I just drove 2.5 hours to come here and it's closed. Your hours should be updated to reflect this.
Great museum! They have excellent displays that are so well curated! There’s a Métis area, early pioneer displays, Ukrainian area, taxidermy spot, the outside house which is beautifully restored, and many others! It‘a definitely worth the stop if you’re in St Paul at any time. The staff are also very knowledgeable and willing to chat if they’re free. A great example of what small town museums should strive to be.
Made a donation and took a tour. Much had changed in since my last visit. Spectacular and wonderful. Will return with family.
