Stunning, pristine, quiet beach, shaded by the forest and with plenty of space for everyone. It was really quiet and peaceful when we visited. Loads of free parking, food options if you're happy with fast food. Or you can walk along the beach to the hotels for restaurant food. Great for snorkeling along the rockier edges.
Best beach around, spaced out, clean, calm, somehow feels warmer than the other beaches, shade to retreat to, easy parking all along. Perfect for kids. No snorkeling but also no urchins.
Lots of parking. Lots of space. Lots of shade if you want it from the trees. There are organized restrooms and no boats in the water. There is even a really cheap water sports company that offers lots of options for attractions like water skiing. Highly recommended
Mon Choisy Public Beach – Peace, Nature and Turquoise Water Mon Choisy Public Beach is one of the most beautiful and relaxing beaches in Mauritius. Compared to many other, often more crowded beaches on the island, this stretch of coast offers a calm and pleasant atmosphere. Water and Beach The sea is exceptionally clear and shimmers in various shades of blue and turquoise depending on the light. The beach itself is long, clean, and lined with Casuarina trees that provide plenty of natural shade. Atmosphere Despite its popularity, Mon Choisy rarely feels crowded. The mood is relaxed and friendly, ideal for families, couples, or anyone seeking peace and quiet. Infrastructure There are parking facilities nearby, small stalls selling snacks or fresh fruit, and mobile vendors who are not intrusive. Toilets and showers are also available. Photo Spots The scenery with white sand, blue water, and the characteristic trees is perfect for beautiful holiday photos. --- Conclusion Mon Choisy Public Beach is an ideal place for a relaxing day by the sea. Crystal-clear water, a clean, spacious sandy beach, and a peaceful atmosphere make it one of the most beautiful beaches in Mauritius. Highly recommended.
Mon Choisy Public Beach is a beautiful and relaxing spot with calm, clear water and soft white sand, great for swimming, walking, or just lounging in the shade of the trees. There’s free parking, which is really convenient, and public toilets are available on-site. Another bonus is the variety of local food trucks nearby, offering everything from fresh coconut water to delicious street food ,perfect for a beach day snack. It can get a bit crowded on weekends, come a bit early for the parking and good spots.
Fantastic beach. Great for swimming. Lots of shade from the trees. Street food sellers and public toilets (didn't use). Would definitely recommend a visit. Lots of parking as well.
One of the best beaches for just casually hanging out throughout the day , lots of food truck options too for lunch as well as evening
Perfect for families, beautiful sandy beach with a lot of shade in the back... During the morning you can keep your little ones playing on the beach in the shade till half past noon!!! Easy to swim, not too crowded... And very beautiful... We loved it! P.s. easy parking in the shade 50m from the water and public restroom available!!!

The place has an amazing vibe, lush green, calm and relaxing. It's a huge property with several photography points. Food was awesome. Veg options also available. We had black lentils and potato curry which tasted great. We went with family and friends. A well spent evening!! Thanks to the team for the hospitality. Highly recommended.
Nice and wide open space. Views are nice and uncommon. We were served bread and butter while waiting for the appetiser. Staff were very nice and friendly I loved the warm welcoming and pleasant hospitality we even joked a bit. 10/10 👌🏻 The food was pretty basic plus a bit too oily for my taste. 🥗 Had a martini with ice for drink and it was pleasantly served chilled with some ice as I asked. Veg spring rolls were 2/10 honestly.🗞️ The 4cheese pizza was also a bit oily and salty for my taste but to their credit they did add a GENEROUS AMOUNT OF BLUE CHEESE! 5.5/10 🧀 🍕 Not many options for vegetarian people. ❌🌽🥒🙅🏻‍♂️🥬🌱🙅🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♂️ I’d go there only for the views not for the food. 🌅🏜️🛤️🏞️ The place can be quite warm even with the open windows and dozens of ceiling fans. 🌤️🥵☀️ The surrounding areas are pleasant to admire. 🥹 Not many Secure parking spaces as it is quite limited. The guards will close the parking entrance when full. 😅🅿️🚙 Was an okay visit I’d give it a 6/10 overall. Nothing special and nothing wrong with it. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻
Went there to celebrate my birthday lunch with my partner. It is a very cosy and lovely atmosphere, the food was excellent. The staff were all very nice and welcoming, they even allowed us to visit the golf course after our lunch and helped us set another spot for me to cut my cake and enjoy the view. Will definitely visit again!
Went there for my birthday dinner very nice place food was delicious.service was good as well the staff very nice. Definitely will go there again🥰💯
Average service for overpriced average food. Serious lacking customer service- you do not feel welcomed. And you get the feeling that you are disturbing the waiters!! We were also not allowed to visit the golf course due to lack of staff and many golfers. Beautiful place though. Not recommended.
We were invited as guests. The food was good and service attentive. There is a good view of the golf course. I did not enjoy their sparkling water (not the Pelegrino) as it really just had no fizz which was disappointing as I don't drink alcohol
Great view of the golf course from the resto. Food was average
Relaxing surrounding. Food was delicious. Portion size good. Waiters were welcoming .

Absolutely loved the South West Mauritius tour with Eco Holidays! Our guide, Vik, was professional and knowledgeable. He also made sure we made all the sights before the rain started but never rushed us. The lunch was delicious. A very enjoyable day and definitely recommend!
The taxi transfer was punctual and comfortable and the driver chatted with me in Italian. The excursion to Gabriel Island was fun and well organized. During the stop we had time to sunbathe, snorkel and have lunch. Excellent taxis and tour to recommend with EcoHolidays!
We had a great tour with Anish. We were picked up from the hotel on time and visited beautiful places in Mauritius. A lot was explained to us about the sights and culture in Mauritius. Thank you for this unforgettable tour!
We chose this company for a tour of the Capital and northern part of the island including the Botanical gardens. We were blown away by the service. Had our own private hire car and driver who was polite friendly and nothing too much trouble. Not only did we see the sights listed on the tour itinerary but the driver went that extra mile to show us a few hidden gems including the port museum and pretty church by the sea and also track down a good bottle of cheap local rum for me to purchase. Fantastic value for money and a great way to discover some key highlights of the island and the local culture. One word of caution, the indoor market in the capital is not for the faint hearted. Be prepared to barter hard and walk away quickly.
We had a Excellent trip with Eco holiday’s Mauritius. Dhiren is very caring and helpful tour guide. He is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable person and shared all the details about our trip. Dhiren helped us to take our group pics and very spontaneous. We enjoyed the mini bus ride with Navin is very caring and wonderful person.Dhiren and Navin are very punctual and ensure that we had a great time in Mauritius. I would surely recommend Eco holidays to my friends and family.
I had a great experience with them, at the last minute i had to book a tour, i contacted with them the day before at night and they were so flexible and helpful, i really appriciate that and the tour guide was very polite, helpful and nice. I had a great experience, totally recommend.
We had two amazing trips with Eco Holidays during our stay in Mauritius. First through the South-West side of the island and the next day to Port Luis and the Northern side.We got to experience everything, from history facts and sightseeing spots to delicious street food. We can’t recommend it enough!
We did the southwest tour and the north tour of the island with our driver Vik. He was amazing. He explained everything in detail. It was a very good experience and I really recommend booking your tours with Eco Holidays Mauritius! Great job everyone!

I have never sailed before and was a little afraid too as my husband booked here a sailing centered holiday. But I had sooo much fun and have learned sooo much that I can't believe it. At first I had an instructor working with me for the first two days and then I was able to go on a small boat alone and was super thrilled and proud of myself. There was always a safety boat with an instructor on it, close to me, so that I would always have someone to help in case I needed it. There were also some advanced sailers that were getting their skills perfected here, so I would say that this place is both for beginers and advanced sailers a great match. The crew is super professional and also fun. They go individually through your needs as a sailing student so you can get the most out if your experience here. And the owner the nicest guy ever, trying his best to make everyone have the nicest time and learning the most possible. Included in the price was also the coolest Katamaran-Excursion where we visited 3 beautiful islands and even saw whales. Super recommend!
We had an amazing time on the 'sail away' organised by Klaus, Gio and the team! Would highly recommend this experience to anyone on vacation. We had a blast on the boat and it was definitely a highlight of the trip!
Fantastic Sailing School with very competent and friendly staff :)! Within 5 days we were able to complete the VDWS training & exam that we passed without a problem thanks to the great training beforehand. Thank you very much!
We had a great windsurfing lesson. We were absolute beginners, and conditions were a little tricky, but we had an amazing time! Rick and the team were great; taking time to teach us the technique before entering the water but making sure the maximise the time we had on the water. Would definitely be booking more sessions if we had more time. Highly recommend!
The sailing spot is cool and the equipment is ok but no wonder why almost no one is sailing - the prices are ridiculously high if you are à regular sailor and would like to spend a few hours at large or if you live in Mauritius, expect about 40eur per hour of rental.. they also have packages of 10hour rentals but they are still overpriced. When it comes to having an instructor on board, on our first hour of rental, he looked really bored and every 15minutes he was asking us what time is it. I would not recommend going there, unless they review their pricing to more experienced sailors and make sure the instructors are really interested in what they do.
Phenomenal sailing center, run with care and quality by Klaus, a passionate sailor, who switched his life in Germany with Mauritius. Instructors Giovanni, Rick, Kumar and others were not only competent teachers and fun to learn from, but also took great care of everyones safety. This has to be one of the best sailing schools in the Southern Hemisphere - if not the best.
Excellent option for experienced sailors who want to rent a sailing dinghy and go. We called in advance to ensure availability. Then, upon arriving to the spot, we were in the water sailing after 5min. Staff 10/10. Fair prices.
What a great place! Perfect setup for learning and improving your sailing skills with a big beautiful lagoon, varied selection of equipment and very knowledgeable, professional and friendly staff. Big emphasis on safety as well.Highly recommend!
