A fee will be collected at the parking lot at the foot of the mountain. The overall view is inspirational and breathtaking. Take a hike if you have enough time. The best way to get there is to hire a taxi all the to the foot of the mountain, it will cost about 1000 pesos round trip.

The town is wonderful. Now about the hike to the mountain: the tourist entry from the town side cost 30 pesos, but they never give you any information. Like : sorry, the top is closed today. This side of the mountain is private. Yes, unlike Europe or the usa, people here in Mexico get to own mountains, lakes, rivers… all of it and then monetize it. If you want to enjoy the nature like civilized people do, you need to pay for it and then abide the stupid rules. Yes, there are plenty of those. I highly suggest you enter the mountain from the west side, from the camping grounds- it’s free and the hike is much more scenic . Good luck! 👍

Very well preserved stone built aqueduct near the historic town center of Queretaro. There is an elevated panoramic terrace near by that allows you to see the whole aqueduct and the town built around. Only down the street from the terrace you will find the church where the Austrian Emperor of Mexico, Maximilian took refuge.

In the middle of a very busy street in the middle of an equally hectic city is this astounding example of a historically significant piece of architecture and engineering. The Aqueduct of Queretaro runs a fair distance and although one could walk, bike, or drive the entire distance, it is not necessary. At the point on Google Maps where this pin is placed is a plaza with benches, some information boards, a few artistic bronze statues, and it is an excellent spot to take some photos of this engineering marvel. The fact that at the time of my visit there was a group of university grads taking photos in their grad gowns tells me this is a popular spot amongst locals for that special photo. I am really glad I came here to check out this gem and am awarding this with 5 stars.

The aqueduct stretches for a good while, over a kilometer, so your experience of it will vary depending on where you see it. To be honest, it's not that impressive. Five minutes after you get there you'll be done taking your pictures and looking for something else to do.

The museum is housed in the historic Former Monastery of San Francisco, which adds a unique charm to the visit. The organization of the exhibits is very good, making it easy to follow the historical timeline and understand the context of each artifact. Here some highlights for me: 1. Archaeological and Historical Exhibits: The museum showcases a rich collection of artifacts, including sculptures, ceramics, weapons, paintings, and clothing from the Querétaro region. These exhibits provide a deep dive into the history and culture of the area, particularly focusing on the Otomi and Chichimeca ethnic groups. 2. Colonial and Independence Periods: The museum also highlights the multi-colored society of the viceregal period and the early independence period of Mexico. This section includes fascinating items from churches and monastery libraries, reflecting the social, economic, and political structures of the time. 3. Permanent and Temporary Galleries: The museum features seven permanent galleries and three temporary exhibition spaces, ensuring there is always something new to see. The quality of the exhibits is top-notch, with detailed descriptions and well-preserved artifacts. This museum is so interesting! In particular, it told a lot about the indigenous history of the region (something I haven’t seen in some other museums I visited in the area) and really enjoyed the exhibits on Mexican Independence and the Revolution. It only took us about an hour to go through the museum, but I easily could have spent a lot more time there—if you’re going to visit one museum in Querétaro, I’d recommend it be this one.

COST: 90 pesos WORTH IT RATING: 6/10 The actual building that this museum is in, is an old convent several hundred years old. The architecture and the inner courtyard with a fountain are stunning and the best part of the visit. You can capture beautiful photos here. The information in the museum is ALL in Spanish, and very information heavy. If you speak Spanish, and enjoy large blocks of text, then this could be an enjoyable experience for you. It would take several hours to go through the entire museum and read everything. If you are fine with just walking around and perusing the old artifacts, clothing, and paintings, it could also be somewhat interesting. I felt the museum had a lot of potential and a lot of interesting info that i would have liked to learn, but the large quantities of text in Spanish made it feel overwhelming and dissatisfying.

Great tour that helps maintain the facility. However, if you're not a Spanish speaker, you may not get as much from the tour (IMHO, still worthwhile). For 60 years or older, the cost is $10 pesos per adult (about 50 cents). Otherwise, it's $20 pesos per person (about $1 USD). The famous Querétaro aquaduct terminates inside the convent walls. The kitchen area includes a view of the "refrigeration" methods from before the industrial age, as well as the chimney for the cooking fires and the water storage wells. Highly recommend.

This is one of the beautiful parque with eatable options, water games( which is closed today when I went) but water pool was open, beautiful photographic view, boating, awesome place for both kids and adults. Trams. In short you must visit this place once if you are in Querétaro Mexico. It’s 16 km from los arcos. It’s better to come early to cover everything.

This is a cool wee park it has enough things to keep your young kids entertained all day long, water attractions, ride-on attractions and even gardens and a few animals. Remember to take water to drink and lunch oh and a hat and sunscreen as there are relatively large areas to walk to get to places that are in the sun. This place opens from Thursday to Sunday during school term. Staff are helpful and the place is pretty clean.

A lot of the good reviews are from many years ago. We came today on a Thursday and the park was only open for walking and the rides were closed. Luckily they let us walk the park because it let us see how run down it is. The plants are dead, the lake they have in the park is full of garbage and stinks, the rides look very rusty with some even closed under maintenance. Overall, I wouldn’t trust the rides here.

This art museum is a gem of Querétaro. In addition to being free (there's not even a donation box and I have never been in any museum in any city without a donation box), it has a varied and interesting collection and is housed in an impressive architectural building which in itself is a work of art. Formerly the Augustinian monastery, the building is spacious and comfortable. The works are somewhat shockingly unprotected and virtually outdoors but I guess if your climate is arid enough this is fine? Anyway, worth a visit and worth your time.

A free art museum housed in a beautiful old Augustine Monastery with some lovely examples of contemporary and historical local art. Currently under renovations that are adding even more exhibit space. It only takes an hour and a half to get through, but it's worth every minute.

Big piece of architecture and history to visit in Querétaro. The building is housing some function of the government, but it also houses magnificent pieces of art. Murals and statues are on display, telling the story of the revolution, and the important part Querétaro played in it.

This is not worth the bus trip from Querétaro center. It’s a big park like area, where half of the meadows are cordoned off. May be if there is some affinity with the priests who are revered here, it might be a place you briefly want to check out. I left after 15 minutes being disappointed. For non Spanish speakers, they have a nice little booklet that gives you the history of each room which I really liked. Overall, not a bad museum to visit. It was nice walking to it

I was unsure given the name but the Calendar Museum is wonderful. The building and grounds alone are worth the visit. I was impressed with the amount of rooms and the quality of the of the displays. In the back of the garden is a cafe restaurant.

Probably one of the most interesting museums I have been to, it sounds boring but the reviews here are right when they say you will have fun in this museum. It's very fascinating to look at different types of calendars and calendar arts from all over the world. You can also buy something from their cafe with the ticket you bought. All in all, a really good deal that you shouldn't miss when in Queretaro.

Very cute and interesting museum. It starts with tons of information about calenders in different cultures around the globe and continues with many many beautiful Mexican calenders and calender paintings from the beginning of the 20th century to nowadays. Some of them historical, some mythical, some romantic, some funny, some sexist. You can learn a lot about a society by looking at its calenders apparently 🤓. The exhibition rooms surround a gorgeous garden patio that makes visiting here even more pleasant. The layout of the museum is easy to follow with numbered rooms and even markers on the floor that tell you where to go next. Staff is very friendly. Some even speak English and give you an English pamphlet with a map, so it's a tourist friendly place. I really loved this place. It really shows that with enough dedication and care, you can make a museum about any subject

This was an interesting museum! After about 20 minutes I started wondering why there are so many calendars here. I didn't realize this was a calendar museum. LOL. Then I said OH!! It was really interesting seeing the different calendar art and the other art presented. I think you will enjoy this museum. You can easily spend an hour or two looking around and they have beautiful gardens.

Never realized how important calendars have been to the Mexican culture. Dating back to the Mayan civilizations the calendar museum dates the chronological history of the calendars. Also showcasing beautiful art galleries from Mexican painters. The building showcases some of Queretaro's architecture with green courtyards and a nice restaurant and bar. The terrace by far was my favorite place. Sitting in the benches with the cool mountain breeze and the amazing views from around the city. A must if you are in the area.

Excellent convention center, so near a lot of hotels . They also provide a shuttle bus for free to the convention center and to your hotels during the show days back and Force. You can also ask for the discount during the shows time on some of the hotels. I was in the automotive show in Queratero. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the service as overall it's amazing and fast. They have special floors for extra money which is the VIP floors but I do not think there is big difference. The show is organized and there is big space for business in the show
