The tour was interesting and informative. I was lucky enough to be the only one on the tour when i went late afternoon. The tour guide (i think her name was alicia) spoke really good English and was charismatic. Went for a few drinks in la mina bar after my tour but the atmosphere was dead as the place was empty.
We had an impressive experience today. David Q shared many stories and a lot of knowledge. He is passionate and professional. Highly recommended!
I can't remember our tour guide's name but he was so well versed on the history. It made our visit so much more fun. It was neat to visit.
Me and my wife Had a great time. The tour lasted 2 hours. I was recovering from an ankle injury and wasn't a rough walk The Tour Guide was very knowledgeable, courteous and funny he was making very funny jokes throughout the tour. We were surprised how clean and organized the tour was I highly recommend it for everyone.
Had an amazing experience here! Our tour guide David Q was very educational and fun! He’s one of the best tour guides I’ve had in all my years of living. He makes the learning experience fun and informative the way it should be. He made the tour interactive and made sure to include everyone! 100/10 would recommend. Give this diva a raise, PERIOD.
This place it’s a must see, it carries plenty of history about the city, amazing views around the tour, Great photography options, I had an excellent experience here.
Great and beautiful place. You take a train ride down into the mountain (a few minutes, but it felt like an eternity) once you reach bottom you will find a small museum and even a dance club! Mine is well lit and a little cool so bring a light jacket. Tour usually is about an hour, but after, you can explore at your own pace. We spent about two hours looking at everything. Tours are in spanish.
Beyond expectación!! It's the deepest and enormous mine I've ever seen. It reminds me of the mine in the lord of the rings. Very worth visiting, stunning. The guide David Q is very professional, with perfect English explanation, very passionate, caring and humorous. It's a very well organized historical heritage. Highly recommend.

The most beautiful view you can get! Such a fabulous place for a nice walk with your loved one. Felt so nice. History you can read too. It was cloudy but the view was so worth driving up there. We didn’t get to ride the teleférico but definitely will next time we’re visiting. Please visit, you won’t regret it!!!
Amazing view. I was so happy there was an overcast in the morning. This place got crowded before I left. Amazing view!
Very lovely view of Zacatecas Mexico you can take the cable car which cost 160 pesos per person round-trip or you can take an Uber which is probably more like 60 pesos for a car load. Your choice I don't really like heights so in retrospect I should have just taken the Uber
Beautiful Beautiful hill full of Beautiful history and wonderful views of the city.
It’s a must go whether you’re a local or a tourist. It’s such a beautiful view. It’s well kept and clean.

A great experience. The trip is short but is worth it. Highly recommended if you are in the city.
Lots of fun! Great views!
It's was a nice trip on the teleferico..a beat expensive for the trip going up the hill..but it's ok
Safe, modern cabins to overfly Zacatecas. We took a one way ticket to enjoy return by foot through the city !
A beautiful Air tram to a historic hilltop with views of the city, old architecture, statues and local museum History. I highly recommend a visit. Trip can take 3-4 hours giving you enough time.
A great way to get to the top of the buffa and see the city below.
One of the Wonders in Mexico and the World 🌎, you have to try the glass floor, then buy things inside the mines, try the icream from the liite cars, and the famous Tacos Envenenados mix with meat and cheese. I love it. And the best of Zacatecas the Festival International of Folklore the first week of August. Countries from Argentina 🇦🇷, Colombia 🇨🇴, Chile 🇨🇱, Costarica 🇨🇷, Panama 🇵🇦, Mexico 🇲🇽 dancing with their own music and band, you must see this great Carnival and his people and travel in the Tour bus 🚌. So amazing.

In general, the entire State of Zacatecas is a wonderful place, with its incredible tourist centers such as El Cerro de la Bufa, La Mina del Eden, just to mention a few, its interesting museums and its majestic Churches, each one built in a different style of impressive architecture typically colonial of the City of Zacatecas, highlighting among them the beautiful Cathedral, with a pride and very important meaning for the Zacatecans.
The catholic churches here are awesome historical sites market place is full of vendors that sell homemade cheese, candy, desserts ..need a whole day to tour just the churches absolutely beautiful city. Ask about the under ground caves
Beautiful with lots of history
The pizza was cheesy and tasty. It has a great view of everything happening in historical Zacatecas.
Nice detailed stone work on the cathedral facade.
There is a mummy inside on display sorry no photos you have to see it for your self.
A place to Listen Mass, and pray, and peace. However sometimes the outside noise of "Callejoneadas" disrupt the peace. Golden leaf covered altar. Amazing.
Just beautiful old Spanish architecture from the early 1700's.

Never seen so many masks in my life! Definitely recommend for anyone visiting Zacatecas. The exterior of the museum is really pretty too. Preferred this over the Goita museum (although that had nice parts too)
It was a beautiful experience to see how well maintained the old church buildings are. Hopefully, they will continue to be available for many generations to come.
This museum housed in an ancient church displays the ingenuity of people who make masks for different occasions and sizes out of simple objects. Hundreds of interesting masks on display. Includes a wonderful exhibit of puppets used in shows as well as prehistoric pottery. The ruins that house the museum show the beauty of the architecture and well worth a visit. Expect to spend an hour or more.
Stop by Rafael Coronel museum in Zacatecas to discover history and traditions though the use of masks in the Mexican culture. I wish the museum had more descriptions about the beautiful expositions and its employees were more informative. I asked a few basic questions and they were no able to answer, but I have to say, all the staff was very polite and welcoming. During my visit the museum had a en exposition from India with beautiful pieces that other way I would never be able to appreciate. I also was invited to sign a guest book and noticed that the museum is visited by foreign tourists, it will be great if the museum includes brief description of its pieces in order lenguajes. This museum is a gem in the enchanting city of Zacatecas Mexico.
This is a beautiful place to visit. The place has been very nicely restored and conserved, regardless of the historic art collection found in it. Really worth visiting.
The place of 1000 masks and much more. A million photo ops. Peaceful, beautiful could spend a good part of a day here. Def worth your time while in Zacatecas.
Really nice museum that hosts Rafael Coronel collection of art, and one of the biggest collections of masks, centric location a few blocks away from Catedral, worth a visit
Just a beautiful museum and so much to see. The buildings and the court yard is so amazing. Easy to walk to from el Centro. I highly recommend visiting.

fantastic collection of art including Francisco de Goya room, Picaso, Miró, William Hogart, Honoré Daumier, Japanese collection, West African masks, religious artifacts and Pedro Coronel's work. may need more than one visit.

This church is a must if you are visiting zacatecas
Beautiful church ⛪
(Translated by Google) Beautiful Catholic church, what altarpieces! Truly a gem. And it doesn't just have one or two. About six, each more beautiful than the last. It preserves its wooden floor and much of its golden daughter art. It's just a few steps from the cathedral. Walking a bit, you reach this marvelous work of art. In its atrium, you can see other buildings and streets very beautifully. Truly a beauty. I highly recommend visiting it. (Original) Hermosa iglesia católica, que retablos. De verdad una joya . A good place to view old coins and some documents but the favorite part for us was seeing beautiful Hoichol Indian artwork and to learn about their customs and their sacred trail. Would love to see more of their fabric artwork for sale in the gift shop.
Interesting museum, if you want to know about Zacatecas history, this is the first place you need to visit
Very nice museum with a good variety of exhibits. It would be better if they had it in English as well.
Fue una mágica experiencia junto con el grupo teatral Histrionica Zacatecas. I recommend to visit this place in Easter weekend, also November and celebrate Mexican dates. All the city is full of different activities like the theater group "Histrionica Zacatecas" that offer different histories about the development of the city with fun and interactive theater.
Fantastic exhibit of Huichol art and culture, really well made with great anthropological love! The rest of the museum is very eclectic in its offerings, such as money and coin printing machines from the heydays of the town’s rich mining history, as well as some oil paintings from local artists. I spend two interesting hours there.
They're happy to take your money without telling you half of the galeries are under construction and the other half get locked well ahead of the 5pm closing time, meaning if you visit even around 4pm you'll pay and then get to see pretty much nothing. Incredibly dishonest and annoying.
Nice museum in a stately old building. Love the Huichol exhibit on the second floor. Information for this exhibit in English and Spanish. Reasonable 30 peso entrance fee.
Nice place to visit if you are in town. The entrance fee is like 2 usd (2023) many of the rooms detail the history of the city

I was impressed by the number of art pieces on display; a very large collection in fact. It takes more than two hours to go through the entire museum, so my recommendation is to mind your time
This museum is amazing!!! Way more than I expected!! They did an amazing job on designing the exhibition flow. Highly recommended
This museum held a large format abstract art in MX. Although Im not into abstract art, this museum totally worth it. In 1970, MX was invited to the Osaka Fair, while we were just emerging from 1968, artists wanted to show a different face of our county, so they based this exposition in abstract art ( before this movement, MX art was mainly nacionalisism) So they developed this large format paintings and ended up in this museum. Unfortunately Manuel Felguérez have just died (2020).
Loved every bit of it. If you visit zacatecas this museum is a MUST! The art is so stunning and I am now fan of Felguerez work.
Amazing to expend time enough for gazing
Wow. This museum is absolutely incredible. Huge beautiful building (part an old prison) converted to the most amazing gallery with some extraordinary exhibits and lots of amazing work by Manuel Felguerez. I was blown away by this place. Well worth a visit and incredible value. You need time to fully enjoy this there is LOTS to see!!
Incredible museum with a lot to see. Really liked the 1970 Sapporo Expo exhibit. Again, only 30 pesos entrance.
A surprisingly large and interesting museum. It has lots of art from many different artists and although when you enter it appears quite unimpressive it will lead you through it's maze-like halls and lead you on an adventure. The cost is even surprisingly affordable. Upon entering I thought I might spend half an hour looking at the displayed paintings and sculptures but only left nearly two hours later. It is absolutely worth a visit both to the knowledgeable art connoisseur but also, like myself, someone who does not know much about it but simply enjoys looking at art. The only negative thing I experienced was that especially toward the end it became slightly difficult to navigate. The entire time it had been very clear which way I was supposed to go but at the end I had to guess how they wanted me to end my visit.

Actor was really great. He performed his roll very well.
Great explanation of the horrible practices portrayed by the "Holly Inquisition". Knowing the past is the best way to avoid making the same mistakes.
This place was extremely educational. Our guide Jessica knew exactly what she was talking about. Worth it!
Very interesting place with real devices used by the Inquisition at historic times. The place is not real, it's a museum. You can compare with a real place used by the Inquisition located at Guanajuato.
It has a lot of cool artifacts, but I could have gone without visiting the museum. I suggest you only go if you get a discount from the bus tour company.
Small place. Torture house with few old items. Will not be scary at all. It is not a horror house.

Such an iconic church, one of the most beautiful in the city
Church was closed on weekday afternoon. On the outside it looked beautiful, using the local repose colored stone. Will try to come back when open. Not that this is fairly recently built, but in the old style…
Beautiful coral colored stone.

Places to visit... I recommend the tour at the museum to really understand all the history of this particular area and Mexico itself as a country. Very interesting all the details since the conquest.
Greats views from here. Totally recommend climbing the Bufa Hill and visiting the Dark Chamber just steps away from Taking of Zacatecas museum. There aren't many places to eat up here so be cautious. No credit cards accepted.
Good museum, not expensive at all. Cost is 35 pesos or aprox 2 dollars. Learn about one of the most famous Mexican Revolution battles, La Toma de Zacatecas. Inside you'll find Revolution articles and objects, mockups of the city and part of history.

In your visit tp Zacatecas its mandatory to go and look at all the masterpieces in the Francisco Gotia Museum. This old house sometime belonged to the state Governor and today displays a series of paintings of Francisco Gotia, Jose Kuri Breña's sculptures and sketches, and fantastic Julio Ruelas engravings, among other works from many talented artists from Zacatecas.
Lovely collection of Mexican modern art. Loved their works by Goitia and Julio Ruelas! Housed in an old mansion, its somewhat small yet remarkable collection is worth a visit.
