The catholic churches here are awesome historical sites market place is full of vendors that sell homemade cheese,candy,desserts ..need a whole day to tour just the churches absolutely beautiful city. Ask about the under ground caves

A place to Listen Mass, and pray, and peace. However sometimes the outside noise of "Callejoneadas" disrupt the peace. Golden leaf covered altar. Amazing.

Greats views from here. Totally recommend climbing the Bufa Hill and visiting the Dark Chamber just steps away from Taking of Zacatecas museum. There aren't many places to eat up here so be cautious. No credit cards accepted.

Good museum, not expensive at all. Cost is 35 pesos or aprox 2 dollars. Learn about one of the most famous Mexican Revolution battles, La Toma de Zacatecas. Inside you'll find Revolution articles and objects, mockups of the city and part of history.

Quite an interesting Museum make sure you get there in plenty of time they close at 5 p.m. and I could have stayed there for another 3 hours. Lots of things to look at lots of colonial memorabilia. They do not speak Spanish so make sure you have an interpretation application on your phone but they are very nice and very accommodating highly recommended

It was a beautiful experience to see how well maintained the old church buildings are. Hopefully, they will continue to be available for many generations to come.

This museum housed in an ancient church displays the ingenuity of people who make masks for different occasions and sizes out of simple objects. Hundreds of interesting masks on display. Includes a wonderful exhibit of puppets used in shows as well as prehistoric pottery. The ruins that house the museum show the beauty of the architecture and well worth a visit. Expect to spend an hour or more.

Stop by Rafael Coronel museum in Zacatecas to discover history and traditions though the use of masks in the Mexican culture. I wish the museum had more descriptions about the beautiful expositions and its employees were more informative. I asked a few basic questions and they were no able to answer, but I have to say, all the staff was very polite and welcoming. During my visit the museum had a en exposition from India with beautiful pieces that other way I would never be able to appreciate. I also was invited to sign a guest book and noticed that the museum is visited by foreign tourists, it will be great if the museum includes brief description of its pieces in order lenguajes. This museum is a gem in the enchanting city of Zacatecas Mexico.

This is a beautiful place to visit. The place has been very nicely restored and conserved, regardless of the historic art collection found in it. Really worth visiting.

A beautiful Air tram to a historic hilltop with views of the city, old architecture, statues and local museum History. I highly recommend a visit. Trip can take 3-4 hours giving you enough time.

I love it. And the best of Zacatecas the Festival International of Folklore the first week of August. Countries from Argentina 🇦🇷, Colombia 🇨🇴, Chile 🇨🇱, Costarica 🇨🇷, Panama 🇵🇦, Mexico 🇲🇽 dancing with their own music and band, you must see this great Carnival and his people and travel in the Tour bus 🚌. A beautiful linear park that features impressive pink quarried stone walls and a small pavilion in the center. Many people walking, jogging and socializing. An impressive amount of park benches in good condition that motivate people to interact or at least exchange polite greetings. Refreshing!!!

Zacatecas downtown is an amazing place to walk around, it has an amazing arquitectura that you can watch while you walk all over downtown stopping at the small stores full of different kind of products, as for example stones, minerals and other products from the region.

An old and pretty small theater in the city center, with a so so acoustic. It needs to be dusted, at some point we saw a bat. But in general our experience during a play was nice.

Delicious, I had a rib eye medium rare, It was full of flavor and tender. It came with a nice fresh salad and what tasted like thousand island dressing not my favorite but it was good. Price was on the high side for Mexico but way cheaper than the states.

They were really slow. We were the only table in the restaurant and it took them ages to bring out the drinks and food. They brought out entrées and main dishes all at the same time. Food was ok but over priced .

Fantastic location and quite decent decoration. On the downside, menu is wildly overpriced both for food and drinks; there is no finger food available whatsoever. The place lacks proper ventilation...

Worst place I’ve ever tried, flavorless food and expensive, price could be good if the food was better, don’t waste your money here.

Nice little spot in the downtown of Zacatecas, the atmosphere is super relaxed, the food is very good and comes in good portion sizes. I recommend the arrachera con huevos estrellados. If you are in the area definitely worth checking out. The service is outstanding.

This was an American style dinner with some really good food and service was ok for it being a busy morning. We even made the local news paper there Pagina 24 Zacatecas

The place is very well located, right in front of the Cathedral. The service of the waitresses has been incredible. The Food hasnt been the Best, though. It could definitely taste better.

Small cozy dinner right by the cathedral in downtown town zacatecas. Sit in the booths if you enjoy people watching and seeing all the liveliness of the city. The freshly squeezed orange juice was great, tasted fresh. Strawberry milk shake was delicious and reminded me of the licuado mom used to make in the mornings. Service was prompt and food was good. This place it is small, nice setting but food is very bland for being "authentic" Zacatecas style. Food was not spicy at all. For drink we ordered a coke and they serve you a mini coke when their food is expensive you don't even get a regular size coke. My wife's enchiladas are way better than this place.
