Such a great experience! Whether you are local like us or are wanting to experience Australia for the first time by boat I would highly recommend! We saw whales and dolphins on our cruise and got information about the rich history of the area. Word of warning: if you have sea sickness or emetophobia steer clear, I had vomit on my shoes by the end of the trip.
Our Whale Eco Cruise on a rainy morning was absolutely unforgettable. Our staff (Capt Hamish and Paula) were delightful - friendly, pleasant, informative and funny. ☺️ We wound up being blessed with a curious pod of three (including Mom and baby!) that swam around us for a good long time after boat motor was cut and we were just floating along. Loved every rainy second of it!
We had a whale of a time!!! An unforgettable day. Heaps better than we expected. Whales were popping up all over the place but the big surprise was the cliffs. Wow. If you’d just come to see the cliffs you’d be deliriously happy. They were sensational. The boat and crew were great. We had good food and coffee at the very comfortable wharf. Happy people were everywhere. Bravo Jervis Bay Wild! Spectacular! Thank you.
A Must-Do Experience in Jervis Bay! We’ve travelled to Jervis Bay 3 times now specifically to go whale watching with Jervis Bay Wild, and once again, they did not disappoint. The crew are consistently friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Their commentary strikes a great balance between educational and entertaining. We were lucky enough to spot a couple of pods of humpback whales, including calves, and they stayed around long enough for everyone on board to enjoy the moment without rushing. Traveller Tip: Even if it’s warm on land, bring a jacket (preferably waterproof). We went out at 1pm on a 26-degree day, and I was still grateful for my cardigan once the sea breeze picked up. Better to be prepared so you can relax and enjoy the view. If you're considering a whale tour in Jervis Bay, don’t hesitate. We'll happily be back again.
I went on the Jervis Bay Passage yesterday, and it was absolutely AMAZING. What a fantastic experience. The sun shone, the sea was calm, and just sailing around all the Bay was wonderful. As we went by areas of interest, our captain gave very informative and interesting stories. The high cliffs by the lighthouse were spectacular. When we saw a Sun Fish, he drifted back so that we could watch it. Nothing was too much trouble. We saw a few seals too and the dolphins greeted us back into harbour. An experience I will never forget. Thank you.
Fantastic afternoon. Saw lots of whales. Even had a pod surface about 10 mts from the boat. We also got up close to the Jervis bay cliffs and cave systems. Really beautiful. Small boat but this got us up close which a bigger boat wouldn’t have. Friendly crew. All in all recommended
Had an amazing time this morning on the Eco Whale trip. Highly recommend!! We saw many whales, even one breaching and closely circling the boat. It was unreal! Saw some dolphins too! The staff were also super lovely and welcoming.Especially Ella who made us feel like VIPs and was so helpful, sharing local info with tourists. Thank you so much for an unforgettable morning! 5 stars!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This was a nice cruise experience, filled with pure rainbows surrounding the bay area from the light rain. And we saw some dolphin activity! 🐬👍 Although, I would not suggest booking cruises in the winter, unless you'd like to witness some bright rainbows! It can easily be cancelled due to harsh weather conditions, and our experience was not the opposite. It was incredibly foggy and rainy, abit difficult to capture any sealife, though when we did- it was for a short period of time. Slightly underwhelming to say the least, since we couldn't venture into the open ocean or the cliff sides. Still a nice experience overall, I haven't been on a cruise in many years.

I recently we took my father-in-law for a VIP experience at Shoalhaven Zoo. As we are both animal lovers I accompanied him. I have to say, the experience far, far exceeded my expectations. Steph who was our private guide was exceptional, a real professional and extremely knowledgable and friendly, a great host. Right from the start we were associating with a lot of their reptiles, koalas, tortoise, marmoset monkeys, birds, meerkats, and ending with feeding one of the male lions. For a small regional zoo, the enclosures were in first class condition, as were the animals. At no stage were we rushed and to actually experience being with any, let alone all of these amazing animals, for up to 20 mins each was definitely one of the best experiences I have ever had, just incredible. Yes the big zoo's get the media but I doubt they could have delivered anything more special than our VIP experience at Shoalhaven Zoo. Had a nice simple lunch after with a lovely iced coffee overlooking the river. Highly recommended.
Absolutely loved our VIP experience visit!! We chose this zoo over the ones in Sydney hoping for a less crowded visit and it was the best decision. Annabelle was our guide and was amazing. 100% recommend.
Older style zoo but very enjoyable. More for younger children. Very informative keepers. All staff great. Kids love petting area & keeper talks. Koalas, rabbit patting & watching lion feeding were favourite's
We had an awesome visit to Shoalhaven Zoo! The staff were welcoming, the enclosures were clean, and all the animals looked healthy and well cared for. A special highlight was meeting Reneigh the horse — such a gentle, beautiful soul who clearly loves a good pat. You can tell the keepers genuinely care for their animals, and it makes the whole experience feel personal and warm. There’s plenty to see and do, from feeding encounters to peaceful walks along the river. A great spot for families or anyone who loves getting close to animals. We’ll definitely be back to visit Reneigh again! 🐴💙
I live in Sydney and I have been to all the zoos near and far and this zoo has to be the best. We drive 2 hours to get there but WOW it's worth it everytime! The cutest, friendliest most beautiful animals I've encountered at any zoo, they seem genuinely happy. It's very interactive for a young family and a very easy zoo to nativagate without exhausting everyone. All credit to the amazing and super friendly staff!!
A perfectly well-kept zoo, on a pretty riverbank. The animals' enclosures were all very clean and tidy, but not sterile, with interesting terrains, trees etc. We went there for the maned wolves, who were super active and inquisitive. Keen to return when we are next in the area.
Best zoo ever.period.tou can hand feed lions, monkeys etc...at a extra price ofcourse and I spent my bday there and the best time ever.i bought 2 budgies and I wish I had rhe licence to buy those baby emus lol.
Such an amazing experience! The reception staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, well priced and very fast service. I experienced the Lion Feeding that was hosted by Amy and Steven and they were so incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and fun. Great variety of animals and perfect cozy location. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We have visited Cupitt's Winery previously for a day visit and enjoyed the food, wine and spectacular views over the countryside. With a birthday celebration coming up we decided to take advantage of a food and stay package - what a great choice! Our meal was fabulous and our accommodation could not be faulted. A very well planned villa with all the comforts one looks forward to! Loved the layout, with a very modern kitchen and bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The beautiful breakfast hamper was delightful! Well done - the attention to detail was marvellous!
Very friendly welcome by staff, the wine tasting was excellent and Chris? (Lovely lady), was extremely knowledgeable and explained each wine. The rooms were clean, tidy and lovely to stay in. The restaurant dinner was superb, one of the best steaks I have had. Special mention to Emma who was our lovely server for the evening. I highly recommend staying and we will definitely be back. A great place for a special occasion.
What a beautiful slice of paradise. We stayed 2 nights in a villa. So well done. Modern, clean, great views over the countryside, everything you could ask for. All staff were friendly and made you feel very welcome. The restaurant was also great. Open for lunch with a good variety of food to choose from. Wine is superb.
We celebrated our 38th Wedding Anniversary for lunch. It was perfect. Our lovely English waitress wished us a Happy Anniversary & suggested oysters, wine etc to start. We decided on some shared plates including the divine home made bread to soak up all the sauces. Our wine & coffees were great! The view & atmosphere were also just lovely. 10/10!!!!
Perfect spot for lunch on a Saturday overlooking the rolling hills. The staff were super accomodating, the space was baby friendly and food and wine were worth it. Also, thank you the staff member who took us through the wine tasting. He listened to what we liked and offered a range of wines that suited our preferences. We will be back!
Beautiful and absolutely spectacularly stay with wonderful staff and friendly service. You will be treated to the best the south coast has to offer. The rooms are elegant and refined meeting all your needs for an extended stay. The property’s staff will attend to your personal needs and are always willing to answer any questions and concerns you have to get the best experience possible. For the price you pay, you will easily be satisfied with the luxury offered on this secluded getaway. Please don’t miss out and keep up the great work! Will definitely be coming back!
We were there with a large group on Sunday. Exceptional food & service. Great experience. Special thanks to Ella & the chef for going the extra mile organising a extra bowl of the triple fried potatoes for our table after the first lot just vanished. Great location, next time we will stay there.
Cupitts estate is an absolutely beautiful place to visit or stay. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. The wine is wonderful and the wine staff are extremely knowledgable and passionate about their produce. The tour and taste experience is a must. The accomodation is beautifully appointed and comfortable with gorgeous views of the surrounding farmland. Very quiet. The restaurant and outdoor seating is very comfortable and food amazing. Will be coming back.

If you're looking for a memorable and breathtaking experience in the stunning Jervis Bay region, Dolphin Watch Cruises is an absolute gem. I recently had the pleasure of joining one of their cruises, and it truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we boarded the boat, the staff's warm welcome and enthusiasm set the tone for an incredible experience. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the local marine life, especially the dolphins. They provided fascinating insights into the area's ecosystem and the habits of the dolphins that call Jervis Bay home. The highlight, of course, was the dolphins themselves. We were lucky enough to see multiple pods of dolphins swimming alongside the boat, leaping and playing in the crystal-clear waters. The views were simply spectacular, with the scenic beauty of Jervis Bay adding to the magic of the encounter. The boat was comfortable, and there was plenty of space to move around for the best vantage points, whether you’re on the deck or inside. The cruise also offers a relaxing atmosphere, with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the surrounding beauty of the bay and its pristine waters. Whether you're a wildlife enthusiast, a photographer, or simply someone looking to unwind in nature, this cruise is a perfect way to spend a few hours. All in all, Dolphin Watch Cruises in Jervis Bay provides an exceptional way to connect with nature and experience the incredible marine life in the area. It’s an unforgettable experience that I highly recommend to anyone visiting this picturesque part of New South Wales. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this cruise is definitely worth it!
We joined a dolphin-watching cruise in Jervis Bay and while we didn’t spot any dolphins during the actual cruise, we were lucky to see one near the jetty just before boarding—which was still a nice surprise! The crew were friendly and knowledgeable, and the boat ride itself was relaxing with beautiful views of the bay. Even without many dolphins, it was a lovely way to spend the afternoon on the water. Would definitely try again—nature doesn’t always follow the schedule!
The staffs are great. They were happy to change the booking as we couldn’t make it on time due to an incident on the road. Paula is a gem, she jumped on the boom net with us and had great vibes. Saw many pods of dolphins. Had free coffee on board. Overall a very relaxing and laidback experience.
Crew is amazing and the tour was great. The crew are so caring, constantly asking how their guests are and ensuring that they could see the dolphins swimming near the boat. The tour purposefully and respectfully finds and follows the dolphins to allow everyone a great experience. We had such a good time that we also booked the whale watching tour a few days later. Thanks for having us !! We will be back for more.
Amazing experience to be had. Hamish and crew were great. We left it, a bit late in the Whale season to see a lot of Whales but Hamish pulled it off. Not a fantastic view of the Whales as they kept moving under the water. But we all got the bonus of seeing Dolphins 🐬 Will definitely be back and try again. 👍
Had a good time & spotted some dolphins. Went down to the coast for days trip and weather was perfect. Only slight concern is to reconsider if you have toddlers. Noticed few of them getting restless as the cruise is longer than an hour.
Pretty disappointing couldn't here what was being announced at all. The captain just seemed to be in a hurry to get from shore to shore in record time. No time to stop to look for dolphins no time to let anyone just to observe even the scenery. Plus the was no staff to man the shop so couldn't really get snacks or gifts for the kids. Very poor experience and please don't waste your money or time. Best getting a water taxi and have a better experience.
A dolphin cruise without dolphins....I understand that they are animals and can't be persuaded to show up, but would've been nice if they mentioned where the dolphins could show up, and maybe wait a minute. No apologies or any type of compensation for not seeing dolphins. Made even worse with no one attending the consestion stand

Beautiful beachs and lots of Kangaroos. We paid for the park entre and visited 3 beaches
Very good family level camping in the south coast. Good access to beautiful white sandy Hyams beach. Few minutes drive to Huskisson. This is an easy level camping, you can take the family and the kids here, Hell!, even grandma can come. Comes with heated water, good toilet and washing facilities. Safe, fires only on designated spots though. The rangers come and do their rounds from time to time. Not sure if they really check number of cars or if they are registered on booking. Comes with a bit of a price and for good reason. Lots of wildlife in the campgrounds, wallabies, kangaroos, possums and kookaburras. There are plenty of good hikes around as well.
Booderee National Park is absolutely amazing! The beaches are stunning, especially Cave Beach, and we loved spotting so many kangaroos. It’s a perfect place to visit with kids — we had such a great time. A total fun experience for the whole family!
Amazing breathtaking stay here with your tent or your caravan if you can get in. So many places to see and enjoy well worth the visit. Plan ahead arrive early to get the most out of your day.
We recently spent 3 nights at the Green Patch camp site at Booderee National Park. We have to say that for the exorbitant fees we paid for the drive in, no power site we were extremely disappointed. The park is beautiful, no doubt, but the facilities were poor and dirty. The showers require you to push a button every 10 or so seconds which is rediculous and unworkable. The floors in the amenities look like they haven't been cleaned in many moons. We saw some young men go in to clean the amenities one day and were out in 15 minutes. There was actually no change in the cleanliness. i.e they did no or only token cleaning. There is simply not enough cubicles and urinals to support the size of the camp. It definitely seems as though the camp is designed for form not function. On top of this we were told there was a faucet available to fill up our offline van during our stay. We found a faucet with no handle and even after requesting the handle from a ranger nothing happened. The other disconcerting thing in the park is the sheer volume of signs related to paying park fees .. they are literally everywhere and ruin the whole natural experience. In our opinion the park has been turned into a purely money making exercise with little no thought of the user experience. The management and the costs of the park needs urgent review as they do not in any way represent a good experience or good value. This is quite distinct from other NSW Parks we visited during our trip (i.e Warrunbungles National Park) which were beautiful and very well maintained and managed at one sixth the price.
Camping withaside of paradise Booderee National Park is the kind of place that makes you forget Wi‑Fi exists. I camped here and while the facilities were solid (just don’t expect a long steamy shower), the real luxury is outside. The beaches? Unreal. White sand so bright it deserves its own sunglasses. A short stroll from the campsites and suddenly you’re padding across powdery sand that looks like it was Photoshopped by Mother Nature herself. Camping here feels like trading concrete for kookaburras, deadlines for dolphins, and traffic noise for the hush of the ocean. It’s nature‑based camping at its finest: simple, beautiful, and just adventurous enough to make you feel smug about “roughing it” while still sleeping comfortably. Would I come back? Absolutely. Even if the hot water plays hard to get, the beaches more than make up for it.
We were here as tourists from Europe. But I would definitely come here often if I lived in Syd or closed by in Australia. I would recommend to stay here 1-2 night to have relaxed family holiday time. The beach is great, with orange color beside blue and white sand. There are shadows to stay in the shade. There are walking trails in the forest. It’s great to walk under the trees, and looking out to the see. There are many kangaroos and birds, and botanic gardens…
Great national park with so so much to offer! We were unfortunate not to have a sunny day - but we still enjoyed an amazing hike on Murrays Circuit, a great picnic at Murrays beach and the outstanding views at Cave Beach. The beaches are fantastic and there’s plenty of great spots to surf, snorkel, walk or just chill and enjoy the wildlife! Make sure to buy your pass in advance - then it’s just an easy drive through!

It was awesome experience with Captain Dave. The sunset cruise was an experience itself. On the top, Dave taught us how to ride the cruise. We played our music, danced and enjoyed the eve. I would definitely recommend anybody visiting Jervis Bay to have this experiece.
Dave’s Sunset Cruise — just excellent, money well spent. Captain Dave really knows his stuff; affable, entertaining, easy-going and accomodating. His vessel is ideal for the job, super accessible. Our Scottish visitors were just stoked. Steve / April 2025
Captain Dave is a great captain and a joy to travel with.
We had yet another enjoyable day over in Myola thanks to Captain Dave. He welcomed us aboard with his smile and jokes then suggested things we might like to do in Myola. If you come to Husky or Myola, make a point of a taking a trip with Captain Dave.
Captain Dave is a wonderful gentleman. Very friendly with kids and us and also gave us heaps of info around the area. We will visit you again until then take care
Thanks Captain Dave for the perfect trip across the bay. So much fun on a beautiful night
Fantastic way to get spend the day! A very quick trip and thanks to captain Dave very entertaining! Save the drive and do something different, grab the ferry to Huskisson, you can even take your dog and prices are for the return trip.
Captain Dave made the ferry ride extraordinary, memorable, and fun! He was friendly, knew much about the local area, and gave a lot of tips on what do see and what to do. Superb experience!!

Having been a professional fisherman most of my life, I know fresh fish. Nowra fresh fish and meat market never let's me down, the quality of their fish is first grade, the service is great, and the variety of fish is always pleasing. I won't get my fish from any other place than there, go there, you won't be disappointed.
The Five Founders beef short ribs you've been stocking recently are absolutely delicious. Incredible degree of intramuscular fat and perfect for Asador style cooking. Please keep stocking them.
Love your fresh seafood then this is the place for you. Best prawns and oysters we've had in a long time.
You will find what you want. Wish them have more sashimi items. The Mullet is best during winter time. Butcher did very good job. Staff are friendly. I am a regular customer. Keep up the good work.
Their snags are the best. I’ve had them many times and they’re always consistent. Great flavour. My favourite pork & maple. Curried chicken are great too. Tonight I had their 150 day Angus sirloin. It was very marbled. So tender and flavoursome. It will be a regular.
The service was terrible at fish section of seafood on Saturday morning 18/10/25 9am . I was the 5 person through the door and was served around 20th. Anyone who want fish just stood there while 3 staff just served Anyone who want prawns at the other end. Maybe using a ticket system would help them . As they did not seem to have any training.
Best Gourmet Meat Patties. Either as Rissoles or Flattened to become the Best Gourmet BBQ Patties Ever.I had the Beef with Tomatoes , Cheese and Onion as a Gourmet Burger Delight! P.S. Don't Forget the JD infused Caramelized Onions coupled with Hamburger Relish and Jarlsburg Cheese Slice Melted over the Patty just before you remove it to Serve.Yummo!
We highly recommend their grilled barramundi, chips, salad, scalloped potatoes and seafood sticks. Great sized fish, tasty and fresh. Salad was very fresh too! We would buy here again when in Nowra. 10/10

The Fleet Air Arm Museum is truly outstanding! The staff are incredibly friendly, and I had a fantastic experience. Parking is free and convenient, and I spent about an hour and a half exploring the exhibits. The museum is spotless, well-organized, and showcases an impressive collection of aircraft and military history. I especially enjoyed the helicopter simulator—such a fun and immersive experience! Highly recommended!🚁🛩️✈️
Definitely worth a visit if you are in the Nowra area. About 15 minutes drive from the centre of Nowra. This museum has free entry and is one of the best military aircraft museums I have been too. The staff are friendly and helpful and explain the order of the exhibits etc. Great for adults and kids, It is a massive hanger with a lot of exhibits. If you are in Nowra or just passing through, don't miss this little known museum. We stayed at this Air BNB which was excellent in Meroo Meadow "Queen room at Jade Meadow House"
This is an awesome museum with many complete full size aircraft on display in a huge building with a mezzanine walkway with more exhibits and giving a better view of the exhibits. For the mechanically minded they have some of the best cutaway view models of turbine engines and transmissions and some piston engines also.
It's a small but distinguished collection of RAN airplanes. They are well exposed and in excellent condition, I enjoyed it a lot. It's a shame there was no usual gift shop to complete the experience. However, it didn't scratch a smile on my face.
For aviation enthusiasts it's good place to visit. They have a helicopter simulator too for hands-on. Upper deck has a good view to airstrip, though there's not much activities happening often.
Must visit!! The drive to the museum is so scenic and upon arrival you are met with the most friendly and welcoming greeting. The museum is in excellent condition, with fascinating stories of pilots and observers. My son wants to be a pilot and Albert was present and patient to all his questions, igniting his passion for flying more. The simulator was fun and the John Downtown gallery is beautiful.
TJ and Pete went out of their way to guide us as we visited the museum; even allowed us to check out the exhibits with pooch cheekily in tow ;) thanks guys, the kids had an absolute blast!! (The flight simulator is a must try ;) )
Great museum to visit. So much to see and learn. Officers are very friendly and helpful.

We had an amazing tour of Callala Bay with Dane and got to discover a beautiful part of the Bay we had never visited before. Dane has a wealth of local knowledge and picked out a route that was perfect for the conditions. We learned so much on our tour, from local history to wildlife to the best spots to visit on our trip. The tour was a highlight for us, but Dane's tips also continued to add to our time in Jervis Bay after the tour was over. The homemade cookies and the photos were a very nice personal touch. Highly recommend Sea Kayak Jervis Bay! Hope to be back soon.
My husband and I spent Saturday morning with Dane on the sea kayaks in Callala Bay and surrounds. I honestly could not recommend this experience enough, it was one of the funnest things we've ever done! Dane is an incredible, knowledgeable and kind guy, makes for a very fun morning! His homemade morning tea was delicious! Just to top the day off we got to paddle out to a pod of dolphins! He took photos and videos of it all! If you're on the fence about trying this, don't be, incredible! We will 1000% be back soon.
Our tour with Dane was the highlight of our time in Jervis Bay! From start to finish, he made the day feel personal, relaxed, and full of discovery. It was clear he genuinely wanted us to have the best possible experience, regardless of what the Bay had for us that day. He shared so much local knowledge about the area, wildlife, and history while keeping everything fun and engaging. The bay itself was stunning, and spending the day on the crystal-clear water and the white sand beaches was epic. I can't imagine a better way to enjoy the water and beaches of Jervis Bay. Dane went above and beyond capturing photos and videos for us, so we could enjoy the moment without worrying about missing a single memory. He provided a google drive folder filled with photos and videos the evening after our tour which included videos of the animals we saw as well. I loved sharing these with my family! When Dane found out my sister and I were traveling down the coast, he gave us a list of must-see places and things to do. We had some very cool experiences that we would have missed out on otherwise because of his recommendations. He also had a list for the area that he shared. I’ve told everyone I’ve met in Australia that this is a must-do experience, and I’ll absolutely be booking again when we return. If you’re considering it, just book and enjoy! You’ll be so glad you did.
Exceptional scenery, even better experience with Dane! Back for the second time due to my 5 year old insisting we go kayaking again it was a no brainer to get back in contact with Sea Kayak Jervis Bay. Beyond Dane's remarkable local knowledge and knack for finding the best beach morning tea spots around (and providing the best cakes), he has a wonderful ability to cater the experience to all. A fantastic way to take in all that Jervis Bay has on offer!
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Had an amazing time kayaking today! Dane was the best – super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience fun and safe. We were lucky enough to spot dolphins too, which made it even more unforgettable! The service was top-notch from start to finish. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a great time on the water!
Myself and my 14yo had an incredible day out with Dane. His professionalism, his quality gear, and his deep knowledge of the area were all top notch. Which was a massive bonus for us as we aren’t regular kayakers! He knew where to take us and what to look out for, and we were lucky with to have perfect weather AND to watch a huge pod of dolphins swim and play while out in the water. Could not have been a better day, thanks Dane.
We had an amazing time kayaking here! The scenery is absolutely stunning and very easy to get around. Lots of wildlife about, even got to see giant stingrays. Dane and Max were great and really helpful, got some great recommendations for the rest of our trip too! Highly recommend☺️
It was my first time kayaking, and it turned out to be a safe and special experience. The weather wasn’t the best and I was worried it might be dangerous, but he kindly answered all my questions, provided a warm jacket and hot tea, and constantly checked if we were cold. His service was truly excellent. He didn’t just guide the kayak tour — he also introduced us to various marine life and which made it a really special experience for my mom and me. Thank you for giving us such a memorable day. We’ll definitely come back again when the weather is nicer. Highly recommended!

WOW, absolutely beautiful place. The museum shares a rich history about the place. The ticket was 12.5$ per adult and 10$ concession. The mangrove walk is SO BEAUTIFUL, definitely a MUST VISIT in Jervis bay. So relaxing, and the place has a ramp for kayaking. The walk itself is very short.
Great Museum and Market on a Saturday. No being from Nsw or a coastal city, it was great to get some insight into how people moved across Sydney harbour before the bridge. Nice little park outside for younger kids to play and feed the fish.
Love the old ferry that people helped restore. Its massive and warms my heart that places like these are kept for the public. Amazing instruments that sailors used to use which still amazes me how they made them let alone used them. Great little museum and lovely Ladies. Feed the fish and walk the mangroves.
Unexpected and good. Seeing Lady Denman here was a good surprise. I kinda feel though that they could lean into her story more, and maybe make/sell some Lady Denman fridge magnets. She's a real gem.
Warmly-welcomed by friendly staffs there. They advised and supported very well. The place is very interesting and astonishing. Many history on many different things. Price is very cheap for museum/gallery
This was a lovely activity to come to, filled with plenty of pure plantation and nature- both exotic and indigenous. They have a section inside the museum dedicated to indigenous art and in depth lore of their craftsmanship and dotted art. One of the many impressive things of the Muesuem was the sizeable showcase of one of the Sister Cruises including documentation of the series, detailing the manual process of operating the system, further detailing the destruction and many accidents related to it. This was a definite muesuem experience out of many, I highly recommend giving this one a visit!
Upon entry staff was extremely friendly, easy going, and provided ample information about the museum/ surrounding areas. One of ladies that was volunteering, Sal made us feel especially welcomed. She was a gem! Museum was tidy with a wide range of information about the history of boating/ ships around Jervis Bay. The mangrove boardwalk was extremely beautiful. A must see.
Fab museum with friendly staff and amazing exhibits. The scientific exhibit is particularly good 🧡

Highly Recommend! My wife and I went to Jervis Bay for our 10th Valentine's Day, and the SUP lesson we did with Mason with definitely the highlight of our stay at Jervis Bay. We were both first timers and my wife isn't a confident swimmer so she was quite nervous at the start. However, Mason was so professional and patient, he is a great teacher and was able to calm my wife and taught her well. By the end of the lesson, we both learned how to SUP confidently and my wife didn't even fall into the water! We had so much fun and it was a great new skill we learned and will be able to enjoy SUP on our own in the future. We will be back again and next time I'll bring my 7yr old along and have him taught by Mason.
I initially booked here as the best-priced SUP lesson in Jervis Bay, but after the experience, would very happily recommend it as the best value too. My parents (both over 60 years old) and I signed up to learn SUP for the first time. We had a fabulous morning with Mason, who's a good-natured teacher and tailored his style to all of our different comfort levels. Not to mention we had a great chat on the water, were shown the best shortcut to a beautiful spot on the bay, and spotted some neat marine life with low tide. Thanks for a great morning Mason!
The booking and payment process simple and efficient. The kayaks were well maintained, and it was great to have a run through of the kayaks and basic safety before entering the water. The life vests were also included which was great. My partner and I hired two single clear bottom kayaks, which were amazing, and we were very lucky to spot some stingrays through the bottom! Will definitely be returning to hire some stand up paddle boards on our next trip!
Thank you Mason! During our friend’s hens weekend we hired the clear bottom kayaks for 5 of us in the morning and had the most relaxing and beautiful experience. Mason made sure to explain us all the tips and tricks to get the best out of it. We got to see this stunning big stingrays which Mason captured for us. 100% recommended!
Brilliant experience, saw a massive black sting Ray in the clear bottom kayak and lots of baby rays. Mason gave us a great overview of where to go and what to see. A really unique, tranquil and exhilarating couple of hours! Highly recommend!!
We were a group of 4 that made a somewhat last minute decision to hire kayaks for the afternoon. Mason at Jervis Bay Stand Up Paddle was incredibly accomodating and got us going quickly. His kayaks were probably the best kayaks we’d ever used; very light and manoeuvrable – a pleasure to paddle (rather than a chore!) We got so carried away with the kayaks that we forgot to pay much attention to what was happening below the glass bottom of the kayak but one of us was lucky enough to spot one of the thousands of stingrays lurking around. If you’re keen to get a glimpse of them in the sanctuary, be sure to slow down. We all unanimously agreed that this was our best kayaking experience ever (seriously – no hyperbole here). We recommend Jervis Bay Stand Up Paddle unreservedly and hope to come back again soon!
Mason from Jervis Bay SUP was so helpful and knowledgeable! He offered us tips to get the most out of our hire time and was very generous with his time to make sure we enjoyed our stay in the area. It was highlight of our trip after coming from Sydney. Thank you Mason!
Loved our paddleboarding experience with Mason! He made it all so easy and we had a fantastic time seeing the sights of beautiful Jervis Bay and checking out all the awesome wildlife that the area has to offer. Would 100% recommend booking in for paddleboarding with Jervis Bay Stand Up Paddle!

We recently attended a wine tasting where Nathan provided an excellent explanation of the different wines. I particularly loved their red wines, which were subtle and easy to drink. We ended up joining their membership, which is a fantastic deal! I can't recommend it enough, and I'm definitely planning to come back.
Stopped by with a group of high school friends to see Robbie for a tasting earlier today before heading back to Perth tomorrow. Really appreciated the opportunity to taste the offerings from Two Figs. The wines are beautifully balanced and it was a pleasure to taste each and every wine on offer. The grounds are amazing coupled with beautifully crafted wines which I would be happy to drink on the daily. We bought a bottle of Chardonnay to enjoy at Jim’s Wild Oysters tomorrow and sent a six pack home for the wife. Service, hospitality and generosity at Two Figs is second to none. Thanks again Robbie for the being the host with the most! We enjoyed the Chardonnay at Jim’s Wild oysters!
We had a great experience at Two Figs! Robbie was so friendly and super knowledgeable. The premium tasting is well worth it! Amazing views from the tasting room too, can't recommend it enough.
The most inhospitable experience I think I’ve ever had at a hospitality venue. We booked ahead and had 10 people come to drink Two Figs Wines. No one else was at the venue. We asked if we could sit inside because it was cold outside. We were refused, with the reason give that it was for Members only. There were no members there. We asked if we could drink our purchase bottled of wine at the bar and were refused because it would be too much to clean up before closing at 5pm. So we had to drink the wine outside in the cold. When we wanted to buy another bottle we were almost refused because it was too close to 5pm which was closing time. It was 4.40pm. No one else was there. The gentlemen that was so rude to us clearly should not be in hospitality. I highly recommend avoiding this venue. The service and wines are not worth enduring.
Our visit to the Two Figs Winery was the highlight of our trip. The location is top tier, with an incredible selection of wine to match. But what truly sets Two Figs apart is the incredible service. Every single person there was genuinely friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The staff complimented us, engaged us in conversation, and showed genuine interest in where we were visiting from. This level of personal, warm, and attentive service made all the difference and elevated the tasting experience from a simple transaction to a memorable afternoon. Tony was an absolute legend <3
We arrived on a Monday and had the whole facility to ourselves. Our tour guide, Robbie, took us on an amazing wine journey thru the afternoon. Do you like big bold spicy? They got you. Do you like a subtle drinkable everyday white, they got you. Do you want an amazing Shiraz blend? They got you. Try the reserve, so worth it. Bottom line: regardless of your wine taste, they have something for you. We left very satisfied and happy. You will too.
We arrived on a week day afternoon as a group of four for a wine tasting, but without a reservation. We were easily accommodated and had excellent service from Tony throughout, offering us a selection of delicious and interesting wines. Two Figs is in a beautiful location and very lovely building inside and is well worth a visit.
My husband & I had a wonderful relaxed experience tasting wine under the guidance of our friendly host Justin. The wines were very much to our taste and the view was spectacular. We liked the wines so much that we joined the wine club & bought a dozen to go

I was Pleasantly surprised to visit this beautiful location, where you can see the whole wide Pacific ocean ahead and if you are lucky some penguins (which I saw) and may be an astray whale. Beautiful location and quite photogenic. I had one concern that place was lonely and there was no security cameras on the head or on the road where there was no people movement. I remained scared all the time because of a person in a strange outfit.
Built of iron wrought plates with a Victorian inspired design, the Warden Head light house stood twelve metres tall and is actually 1 of only 2 currently existing iron wrought lighthouses in NSW. If you're interested the other is the Wollongong Breakwater Lighthouse. A bit of history, the lighthouse first erected in 1873 but was first situated at Ulladulla Breakwater to guard the entrance of the Port before it was later moved to its current location in 1879 due to increased ships getting lost. For those looking for a bit of adventure, you can park your car at BUMMIE BAY (excellent surfing location) and take a short walk through the Coome Nujunga aboriginal inspired walking trail. Along the way there are plenty of plants, insects and bird life to see. Once you reach the lighthouse, there are a few maze like small tracks to take which will take you to the look outs and if you were as lucky as I was, you might see wales and dolphins swimming about. We also saw a dead baby snake (picture below) on the road so be very careful. On a side note, there's a nice brick wall near THE Boomie Bay car park entrance perfect for selfie lovers - Apollo my dog loved it. Hehe.. Both locations are both human and dog friendly! Yay! Theres a foot ball field with public toilets about 10mins walk to Boomie Bay which is an additional 15mins walk to the lighthouse! Anyone fit at heart: Park at Brodie Park Geological Time Walk. 103 North St, Ulladulla NSW 2539 and walk/run up to the lighthouse but stay hydrated. Was a good 45-60mins walk with 2 small tiny pomeranians. Was worth the adventure! 🐕😁🐕🥳
You can drive right up to the light house and viewing platform so no excuses for not doing a drive by. From all the information boards I guess this is a Good place for whale watching, but wrong time of year now. They could have added some info on the light house itself. Missed opportunity. This is a good place to park and go for a walk in the reserve.
Nice views overlooking the ocean. In the right there's also a small walk down to a another lookout. Has some picknick places and a small carpark
Beautiful views, road was closed due to lighthouse under repair so a 500 mt walk. Well worth the look. Cars only in nearby park area.
Quick drive from town to the steel lighthouse structure and a rewarding 180 view with whale information placards
Great place to check out whales (in season) and view
A great view. Pleasant stop after a long drive!
