Shoalhaven Zoo And Adventure World is a wildlife park nestled in native bushland along the scenic Shoalhaven River. It houses over 100 species of native and exotic animals, offering interactive experiences like feeding lions, getting up close to monkeys, and hand-feeding meerkats. The Treetops Adventure Park within the zoo's grounds provides a thrilling 2.5-hour treetop adventure for families with challenges amidst the foliage and a bird's-eye view of the zoo below.
I recently we took my father-in-law for a VIP experience at Shoalhaven Zoo. As we are both animal lovers I accompanied him. I have to say, the experience far, far exceeded my expectations. Steph who was our private guide was exceptional, a real professional and extremely knowledgable and friendly, a great host. Right from the start we were associating with a lot of their reptiles, koalas, tortoise, marmoset monkeys, birds, meerkats, and ending with feeding one of the male lions. For a small regional zoo, the enclosures were in first class condition, as were the animals. At no stage were we rushed and to actually experience being with any, let alone all of these amazing animals, for up to 20 mins each was definitely one of the best experiences I have ever had, just incredible. Yes the big zoo's get the media but I doubt they could have delivered anything more special than our VIP experience at Shoalhaven Zoo. Had a nice simple lunch after with a lovely iced coffee overlooking the river. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved our VIP experience visit!! We chose this zoo over the ones in Sydney hoping for a less crowded visit and it was the best decision. Annabelle was our guide and was amazing. 100% recommend.
Kirsty P — Google review
Older style zoo but very enjoyable. More for younger children. Very informative keepers. All staff great. Kids love petting area & keeper talks. Koalas, rabbit patting & watching lion feeding were favourite's
Leone — Google review
We had an awesome visit to Shoalhaven Zoo! The staff were welcoming, the enclosures were clean, and all the animals looked healthy and well cared for. A special highlight was meeting Reneigh the horse — such a gentle, beautiful soul who clearly loves a good pat. You can tell the keepers genuinely care for their animals, and it makes the whole experience feel personal and warm. There’s plenty to see and do, from feeding encounters to peaceful walks along the river. A great spot for families or anyone who loves getting close to animals. We’ll definitely be back to visit Reneigh again! 🐴💙

I live in Sydney and I have been to all the zoos near and far and this zoo has to be the best. We drive 2 hours to get there but WOW it's worth it everytime! The cutest, friendliest most beautiful animals I've encountered at any zoo, they seem genuinely happy. It's very interactive for a young family and a very easy zoo to nativagate without exhausting everyone. All credit to the amazing and super friendly staff!!
Nat K — Google review
A perfectly well-kept zoo, on a pretty riverbank. The animals' enclosures were all very clean and tidy, but not sterile, with interesting terrains, trees etc. We went there for the maned wolves, who were super active and inquisitive. Keen to return when we are next in the area.

Such an amazing experience! The reception staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, well priced and very fast service. I experienced the Lion Feeding that was hosted by Amy and Steven and they were so incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and fun. Great variety of animals and perfect cozy location. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Jervis Bay is a stunning ocean bay with pristine white sandy beaches, perfect for swimming, fishing, kayaking, and whale watching. The region offers multiple vantage points to witness the spectacular whale watching season from May to November each year. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking scenic views from the Point Pendicular lighthouse or join cruises and tours like Jervis Bay Wild for the full experience.
Jervis Bay is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. The white sand at Beach is unbelievably soft, and the water is so clear that it feels like something out of a postcard. I even spotted some kangaroos! The bay is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The whole area has a peaceful, laid-back vibe. Whether you're up for an adventure or just want to relax by the beach, Jervis Bay is definitely worth the trip.
Sharon G — Google review
Jervis Bay is one of the most stunning natural destinations in Australia and truly feels like a paradise. It’s famous for having the whitest sand in the world — officially recognized by the Guinness World Records. The bright white sand and crystal-clear turquoise water make it a breathtaking place to visit. The beach is clean, peaceful, and perfect for swimming, relaxing, or taking long walks along the shore. It’s also a great spot for photography, picnics, and spotting dolphins or kangaroos nearby. The atmosphere is calm and family-friendly, making it ideal for a weekend getaway. Overall, Jervis Bay is a must-visit destination that perfectly represents Australia’s natural beauty.”
Rasha D — Google review
Jervis Bay was an incredible experience. Firstly, the people who lived there were absolutely amazing, friendly Aussies who cared about you. Food in the area was also great, especially Huskisson with lots of variety of food and drink. The view was also absolutely stunning with amazing beaches, some of the whitest sand in the world. Overall I'd definitely recommend Jervis Bay for a holiday or even a place to live.

Amazing beach with lots of walks and other small beaches also that u can walk to them National park near etc etc worth the visit
Nick S — Google review
we visited jervis bay , Hyams beach with expectation to see illuminating beach at night on 24th october. But unfortunately we were disappointed and 350 kms of drive was just wasted. It is a request to the local council to take this seriously to promote guided tourism and meeting expectations of the visitors on their website. The area has nature's wonder and could be more helpful if the local council take this seriously.

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was clean, well-maintained, and offered great value for money. It’s conveniently located and perfect for families. My kids and I really enjoyed our time there and would definitely come back.
Zeina A — Google review
Beautiful area, went to 20 beaches in two days with my ten year old niece - in patchy rain!! Was still amazing. We were even lucky enough to find dolphins!!
Amy W — Google review
This is clearly one of the best places in Australia!! The beaches are pristine! They have the whitest sand beaches that one has ever seen, extremely picturesque and very good to dip in the water or just be around! The best part of Jervis bay for us was bioluminescence - we saw at night at the beach!! We went 3 days and finally succeeded to see the glowing phytoplanktons and the water had blue glow!! Absolutely mesmerising and beautiful. You see it the best in summer and I would recommend this place to everyone!! A must visit!

Beautiful beachs and lots of Kangaroos. We paid for the park entre and visited 3 beaches

Very good family level camping in the south coast. Good access to beautiful white sandy Hyams beach. Few minutes drive to Huskisson. This is an easy level camping, you can take the family and the kids here, Hell!, even grandma can come. Comes with heated water, good toilet and washing facilities. Safe, fires only on designated spots though. The rangers come and do their rounds from time to time. Not sure if they really check number of cars or if they are registered on booking. Comes with a bit of a price and for good reason. Lots of wildlife in the campgrounds, wallabies, kangaroos, possums and kookaburras. There are plenty of good hikes around as well.
Carlo — Google review
Booderee National Park is absolutely amazing! The beaches are stunning, especially Cave Beach, and we loved spotting so many kangaroos. It’s a perfect place to visit with kids — we had such a great time. A total fun experience for the whole family!
Bala R — Google review
Amazing breathtaking stay here with your tent or your caravan if you can get in. So many places to see and enjoy well worth the visit. Plan ahead arrive early to get the most out of your day.
Andy M — Google review
We recently spent 3 nights at the Green Patch camp site at Booderee National Park. We have to say that for the exorbitant fees we paid for the drive in, no power site we were extremely disappointed. The park is beautiful, no doubt, but the facilities were poor and dirty. The showers require you to push a button every 10 or so seconds which is rediculous and unworkable. The floors in the amenities look like they haven't been cleaned in many moons. We saw some young men go in to clean the amenities one day and were out in 15 minutes. There was actually no change in the cleanliness. i.e they did no or only token cleaning. There is simply not enough cubicles and urinals to support the size of the camp. It definitely seems as though the camp is designed for form not function. On top of this we were told there was a faucet available to fill up our offline van during our stay. We found a faucet with no handle and even after requesting the handle from a ranger nothing happened. The other disconcerting thing in the park is the sheer volume of signs related to paying park fees .. they are literally everywhere and ruin the whole natural experience. In our opinion the park has been turned into a purely money making exercise with little no thought of the user experience. The management and the costs of the park needs urgent review as they do not in any way represent a good experience or good value. This is quite distinct from other NSW Parks we visited during our trip (i.e Warrunbungles National Park) which were beautiful and very well maintained and managed at one sixth the price.
Tony K — Google review
Camping withaside of paradise Booderee National Park is the kind of place that makes you forget Wi‑Fi exists. I camped here and while the facilities were solid (just don’t expect a long steamy shower), the real luxury is outside. The beaches? Unreal. White sand so bright it deserves its own sunglasses. A short stroll from the campsites and suddenly you’re padding across powdery sand that looks like it was Photoshopped by Mother Nature herself. Camping here feels like trading concrete for kookaburras, deadlines for dolphins, and traffic noise for the hush of the ocean. It’s nature‑based camping at its finest: simple, beautiful, and just adventurous enough to make you feel smug about “roughing it” while still sleeping comfortably. Would I come back? Absolutely. Even if the hot water plays hard to get, the beaches more than make up for it.
Michael R — Google review
We were here as tourists from Europe. But I would definitely come here often if I lived in Syd or closed by in Australia. I would recommend to stay here 1-2 night to have relaxed family holiday time. The beach is great, with orange color beside blue and white sand. There are shadows to stay in the shade. There are walking trails in the forest. It’s great to walk under the trees, and looking out to the see. There are many kangaroos and birds, and botanic gardens…
Quynh-Anh N — Google review
Great national park with so so much to offer! We were unfortunate not to have a sunny day - but we still enjoyed an amazing hike on Murrays Circuit, a great picnic at Murrays beach and the outstanding views at Cave Beach. The beaches are fantastic and there’s plenty of great spots to surf, snorkel, walk or just chill and enjoy the wildlife! Make sure to buy your pass in advance - then it’s just an easy drive through!

Berry Donut Van is a legendary spot in Berry, New South Wales that has been serving freshly baked doughnuts with a generous coating of cinnamon sugar since 1964. Located on Queen Street, this much-hyped van attracts long lines of visitors eager to indulge in their classic cinnamon donuts. The combination of coffee and donuts at the van is highly praised and considered one of the best things to do in Berry.
Wow! What a treat! Loved the donuts and my iced mocha was also delicious. The donut was perfect, fresh, warm, right balance of cinnamon/nutella and texture so fluffy with nice outer crunch. Service was friendly and the space they’ve set up is so cute, spacious and vibe is great with all the plants and colour scheme. Highly recommend! Thanks! Will be back.
Tei — Google review
We went there on a 12pm Sat, so understandably a line would be there. The staff was friendly and efficient, waiting time at most was 7-10 minutes a person. Food: I got the original donut and honestly it was mid, the texture of the donut was mostly mushy? Flavors of cinnamon sugars pulled through. Hotdogs were great, vibes were cute. Place was clean, overall a good place to visit
Kekona K — Google review
Stick to the donuts. Berry Donut nails it with their freshly made donuts—crispy outside, fluffy inside, and absolutely addictive. Easily the highlight of the visit. As for the hotdogs… skip them. They’re forgettable at best. Come for the donuts, and you won’t be disappointed.
Sess L — Google review
The donut here are totally different from what we usually eat! They have a perfectly crispy exterior and a soft, fluffy interior that makes them a delight. The staff is friendly and attentive, adding to the enjoyable experience.
Nel L — Google review
Best donuts ever! I absolutely love their OG donuts, and the Nutella-filled ones are next level. They’re soft, fresh, and full of flavour. Just a heads-up—there’s usually a long queue and a bit of a wait, as they make each batch fresh. Totally worth it!
Ashwitha J — Google review
Delicious Nutella filled donuts & amazing coffee. A nice place to have a quick break. Worth the visit if you’re in the area for sure.

I've been to Berry so many times and had never had the chance to stop but i did this time. I bought the Strawberry Thickshake Combo, 1 shake and 2 Donuts for $14.00... It was so delicious, the cinnamon donuts were freshly made in the spot, the smell is just amazing. The strawberry Thickshake was delish and just the right amount of thickness. Staff was very lovely and i didn't wait long, perhaps less than 10 minutes. Thank you for making my first time enjoyable 😊
Alison E — Google review
There was a long queue just to get these warm, home made, aromatic and delicious donut. But it was well worth it! The van has preserved the integrity of the town and simplicity of its ambiance. A perfect place to go after a long walk of shopping from store to store. Be patient though as you will be faced with a long line. You will be rewarded however at the end. No place to sit and have a coffee but it is just a simple van that offers a good quality donut and brings a smile to your face after that first bite.

WOW, absolutely beautiful place. The museum shares a rich history about the place. The ticket was 12.5$ per adult and 10$ concession. The mangrove walk is SO BEAUTIFUL, definitely a MUST VISIT in Jervis bay. So relaxing, and the place has a ramp for kayaking. The walk itself is very short.

Great Museum and Market on a Saturday. No being from Nsw or a coastal city, it was great to get some insight into how people moved across Sydney harbour before the bridge. Nice little park outside for younger kids to play and feed the fish.

Love the old ferry that people helped restore. Its massive and warms my heart that places like these are kept for the public. Amazing instruments that sailors used to use which still amazes me how they made them let alone used them. Great little museum and lovely Ladies. Feed the fish and walk the mangroves.

Unexpected and good. Seeing Lady Denman here was a good surprise. I kinda feel though that they could lean into her story more, and maybe make/sell some Lady Denman fridge magnets. She's a real gem.

Warmly-welcomed by friendly staffs there. They advised and supported very well. The place is very interesting and astonishing. Many history on many different things. Price is very cheap for museum/gallery
Punnatorn V — Google review
This was a lovely activity to come to, filled with plenty of pure plantation and nature- both exotic and indigenous. They have a section inside the museum dedicated to indigenous art and in depth lore of their craftsmanship and dotted art. One of the many impressive things of the Muesuem was the sizeable showcase of one of the Sister Cruises including documentation of the series, detailing the manual process of operating the system, further detailing the destruction and many accidents related to it. This was a definite muesuem experience out of many, I highly recommend giving this one a visit!

Upon entry staff was extremely friendly, easy going, and provided ample information about the museum/ surrounding areas. One of ladies that was volunteering, Sal made us feel especially welcomed. She was a gem! Museum was tidy with a wide range of information about the history of boating/ ships around Jervis Bay. The mangrove boardwalk was extremely beautiful. A must see.

Cupitt's Estate, located outside Ulladulla, is a family-operated boutique winery offering a range of experiences. The estate features a vineyard where minimal-intervention winemaking techniques are employed to craft wines from estate-grown grapes as well as sourced ones. Additionally, the property houses a popular restaurant with scenic views over the vines and an on-site fromagerie where artisanal cheeses are made.
We have visited Cupitt's Winery previously for a day visit and enjoyed the food, wine and spectacular views over the countryside. With a birthday celebration coming up we decided to take advantage of a food and stay package - what a great choice! Our meal was fabulous and our accommodation could not be faulted. A very well planned villa with all the comforts one looks forward to! Loved the layout, with a very modern kitchen and bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The beautiful breakfast hamper was delightful! Well done - the attention to detail was marvellous!

Very friendly welcome by staff, the wine tasting was excellent and Chris? (Lovely lady), was extremely knowledgeable and explained each wine. The rooms were clean, tidy and lovely to stay in. The restaurant dinner was superb, one of the best steaks I have had. Special mention to Emma who was our lovely server for the evening. I highly recommend staying and we will definitely be back. A great place for a special occasion.

What a beautiful slice of paradise. We stayed 2 nights in a villa. So well done. Modern, clean, great views over the countryside, everything you could ask for. All staff were friendly and made you feel very welcome. The restaurant was also great. Open for lunch with a good variety of food to choose from. Wine is superb.

Cupitt’s Estate is such a lovely place to visit; the service is friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are quite casual and reasonable, especially for the outdoor restaurant area. The view over the vineyard and countryside is absolutely phenomenal; perfect for photos and a relaxing afternoon. They also offer wine tastings and have a great selection available for purchase, which makes the experience even better. The grape gardens are beautiful and make for a nice walk or photo spot before or after your meal. While the outdoor menu is a bit limited compared to the more formal indoor dining, everything we tried was fresh and well-prepared. Overall, it’s a must-visit if you’re in the area; a great balance of good food, great wine, and amazing scenery!

We celebrated our 38th Wedding Anniversary for lunch. It was perfect. Our lovely English waitress wished us a Happy Anniversary & suggested oysters, wine etc to start. We decided on some shared plates including the divine home made bread to soak up all the sauces. Our wine & coffees were great! The view & atmosphere were also just lovely. 10/10!!!!

We had a great 2 night stay at one of the villas and were able to take advantage of their spring getaway package which included a complimentary 2 course lunch. The accommodation was clean, relaxing, and comfortable. We really enjoyed our lunch at the restaurant, with the highlights being the Yamba prawns and Hawkesbury Sommerland chicken. Highly recommend staying or dining here if you're in the area to celebrate a special occasion.

Unfortunately, they no longer do the set menu for 2 people, although not mentioned online; and we were further disappointed when the table next to us was offered a set menu with wine parings (on a voucher - we understand, just upsetting). We had a few drinks and snacks on the balcony before which was lovely, the beer and aperol were delish, but the wine flight was BWS appropriate at best. A “Vinyard” that promotes creativity and sustainability but uses bought, mass produced grapes? A shame. Service was wonderful though, thank you team.

We were there with a large group on Sunday. Exceptional food & service. Great experience. Special thanks to Ella & the chef for going the extra mile organising a extra bowl of the triple fried potatoes for our table after the first lot just vanished. Great location, next time we will stay there.

The Fleet Air Arm Museum, located near HMAS Albatross in Nowra, is a must-visit for aviation enthusiasts. The museum boasts a collection of over 34 aircraft that showcase Australia's naval history. From WWI-era Sopwith Pup to McDonnell Douglas Skyhawks and carrier-borne Fairey Gannets, the museum offers a diverse range of aircraft and artifacts dating back to the mid-1970s.
The Fleet Air Arm Museum is truly outstanding! The staff are incredibly friendly, and I had a fantastic experience. Parking is free and convenient, and I spent about an hour and a half exploring the exhibits. The museum is spotless, well-organized, and showcases an impressive collection of aircraft and military history. I especially enjoyed the helicopter simulator—such a fun and immersive experience! Highly recommended!🚁🛩️✈️

Definitely worth a visit if you are in the Nowra area. About 15 minutes drive from the centre of Nowra. This museum has free entry and is one of the best military aircraft museums I have been too. The staff are friendly and helpful and explain the order of the exhibits etc. Great for adults and kids, It is a massive hanger with a lot of exhibits. If you are in Nowra or just passing through, don't miss this little known museum. We stayed at this Air BNB which was excellent in Meroo Meadow "Queen room at Jade Meadow House"

This is an awesome museum with many complete full size aircraft on display in a huge building with a mezzanine walkway with more exhibits and giving a better view of the exhibits. For the mechanically minded they have some of the best cutaway view models of turbine engines and transmissions and some piston engines also.

It's a small but distinguished collection of RAN airplanes. They are well exposed and in excellent condition, I enjoyed it a lot. It's a shame there was no usual gift shop to complete the experience. However, it didn't scratch a smile on my face.

For aviation enthusiasts it's good place to visit. They have a helicopter simulator too for hands-on. Upper deck has a good view to airstrip, though there's not much activities happening often.

Must visit!! The drive to the museum is so scenic and upon arrival you are met with the most friendly and welcoming greeting. The museum is in excellent condition, with fascinating stories of pilots and observers. My son wants to be a pilot and Albert was present and patient to all his questions, igniting his passion for flying more. The simulator was fun and the John Downtown gallery is beautiful.

Two Figs Winery, located just a short drive away, offers stunning views of the Shoalhaven River. Visitors can enjoy handcrafted wines and pair them with fresh produce from the Shoalhaven Heads Seafood & Fresh Produce Fair. For those interested in exploring more wineries, Silos Estate in Berry and Mountain Ridge Winery in Shoalhaven are also worth a visit. Additionally, Tara Distillery and Old Salt Distillery offer unique tasting experiences for spirits enthusiasts.
We recently attended a wine tasting where Nathan provided an excellent explanation of the different wines. I particularly loved their red wines, which were subtle and easy to drink. We ended up joining their membership, which is a fantastic deal! I can't recommend it enough, and I'm definitely planning to come back.

Stopped by with a group of high school friends to see Robbie for a tasting earlier today before heading back to Perth tomorrow. Really appreciated the opportunity to taste the offerings from Two Figs. The wines are beautifully balanced and it was a pleasure to taste each and every wine on offer. The grounds are amazing coupled with beautifully crafted wines which I would be happy to drink on the daily. We bought a bottle of Chardonnay to enjoy at Jim’s Wild Oysters tomorrow and sent a six pack home for the wife. Service, hospitality and generosity at Two Figs is second to none. Thanks again Robbie for the being the host with the most! We enjoyed the Chardonnay at Jim’s Wild oysters!

We had a great experience at Two Figs! Robbie was so friendly and super knowledgeable. The premium tasting is well worth it! Amazing views from the tasting room too, can't recommend it enough.

The most inhospitable experience I think I’ve ever had at a hospitality venue. We booked ahead and had 10 people come to drink Two Figs Wines. No one else was at the venue. We asked if we could sit inside because it was cold outside. We were refused, with the reason give that it was for Members only. There were no members there. We asked if we could drink our purchase bottled of wine at the bar and were refused because it would be too much to clean up before closing at 5pm. So we had to drink the wine outside in the cold. When we wanted to buy another bottle we were almost refused because it was too close to 5pm which was closing time. It was 4.40pm. No one else was there. The gentlemen that was so rude to us clearly should not be in hospitality. I highly recommend avoiding this venue. The service and wines are not worth enduring.

Our visit to the Two Figs Winery was the highlight of our trip. The location is top tier, with an incredible selection of wine to match. But what truly sets Two Figs apart is the incredible service. Every single person there was genuinely friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The staff complimented us, engaged us in conversation, and showed genuine interest in where we were visiting from. This level of personal, warm, and attentive service made all the difference and elevated the tasting experience from a simple transaction to a memorable afternoon. Tony was an absolute legend <3
Javiera C — Google review
We arrived on a Monday and had the whole facility to ourselves. Our tour guide, Robbie, took us on an amazing wine journey thru the afternoon. Do you like big bold spicy? They got you. Do you like a subtle drinkable everyday white, they got you. Do you want an amazing Shiraz blend? They got you. Try the reserve, so worth it. Bottom line: regardless of your wine taste, they have something for you. We left very satisfied and happy. You will too.

We arrived on a week day afternoon as a group of four for a wine tasting, but without a reservation. We were easily accommodated and had excellent service from Tony throughout, offering us a selection of delicious and interesting wines. Two Figs is in a beautiful location and very lovely building inside and is well worth a visit.

The rustic-chic decor, adorned with amber golden lighting and rusty colored vines, creates a warm and inviting ambiance. Whether it's a girls' night out, a romantic date, or a family dinner, this all-encompassing venue caters to various occasions.
Went with 6 friends on Saturday, a group with ages ranging between 22 & 60, and everyone had a fabulous time. The weather was beautiful, the food was fantastic, we had about 6 dishes and shared them between us and couldn’t eat it all! The staff are always friendly and welcoming and the cocktails - delicious! A great afternoon that drifted into the early evening. Well worth a visit!!!

We missed the band but the atmosphere was still pumping. We visited on a Thursday night which was fantastic. What is not to love about $6 tacos 🌮 and $12 margaritas 🍸 and we were able to pay individually at the bar. A perfect spot for a night out with the girls. We loved the garden setting and our only regret was not coming here sooner. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Milton.

Dive Jervis Bay offers a range of options to explore the diverse Jervis Bay Marine Park, catering to both experienced scuba divers and beginners. From seal dives to PADI courses and snorkelling adventures, there's something for everyone. In addition to diving, visitors can also enjoy snorkelling along the shores, paddleboarding or kayaking. For a more immersive experience, joining Dive Jervis Bay for an underwater adventure is highly recommended.
My partner and I had a wonderful time yesterday with the Dive Jervis Bay team on one of their whale and seal dives! We didn’t see a single seal, but only because we were too busy hanging out with a pod of playful whales! We got to spend ages in the water with the incredible animals, and our in water guide Allan was really good at making everyone feel safe and comfortable. Our skipper Morgs was great at putting us in the right place to see the animals and have an awesome encounter. While spotting wildlife can be a hit or miss, this was a total hit and we highly recommend!
Sally H — Google review
We booked two double dives and a whale watching tour in advance at Dive Jervis Bay. The first dives were cancelled because there weren’t enough divers. It was unfortunate, but understandable. When we were able to dive a couple of days later, there was a technical problem with the boat after the dives, forcing us to wait over an hour before we could sail back. This was annoying, but it can happen of course. However, during the whale watching tour the next day, another engine problem occurred quite quickly after we were at sea. I've been diving for many years, but I've never experienced anything like this. We had to go back even though we hadn't seen anything yet. It was incredibly cold, and we could only sail at half speed. It took forever but we weren't given anything to drink or to eat. When we finally got back, we asked for a refund for the cancelled dives and for the whale watching tour. They promised us a refund for the cancelled dives, but for the whale watching they couldn't promise anything yet. We sent several reminders afterwards but we didn't hear anything back. Only after contacting our credit card company we received a message that we would be refunded for the cancelled dives and a voucher for half the price of the whale watching tour. The voucher, of course, makes no sense as we are foreign tourists and certainly won’t return anyway after this experience. Instead they offered us a refund of a quarter of the price. Why only a quarter, it’s not our fault that there is something wrong with your boat?! Finally, after almost 1,5 months, we got a refund of a quarter price of the whale watching and a full refund for the canceled dives. If you want to have a good time, save yourself a lot of money and worries please go diving somewhere else!

Morgan and Chris were so friendly and helpful. For our 2 days diving they were very flexible in meeting the needs of our group while taking us to a variety of dive sites. We look forward to coming back!
Melanie L — Google review
I have been out with this company a few years ago and had no issues, however we booked a whale swim for last weekend, in July, months ago, and we were cancelled 3 days before the trip due to 'boat technicalities', which is fine, you can't help these things. However, I had heard since from multiple of our local friends that they know their boat has been out of action, or having problems for at least 2 months now. They are still advertising and taking bookings just to cancel everyone in hopes their boat will be fixed. After reading older reviews, it's apparent that this is a regular occurrence. To top it off, you don't get a full refund, i'm receiving about $70 less than what I paid. Disappointing and an absolute rip off, trying to support local companies but this is just not okay. Look elsewhere, such a joke.
Maddison W — Google review
Where is my refund? We booked a whale swim experience for 8 people and this was cancelled at short notice. I understand mechanical issues can happen and safety is important but it was very disappointing that alternative arrangements could not be made. We were offered activities like standup paddle boarding and the group was keen for this, but no one answered the phone on the four occasions I called, so this didn’t work out either. I have asked for a refund of almost $3000 that I spent booking the whale swim and after two weeks have received nothing. Emails do not get answered, I have called the office six times this week during opening hours without a response, and I am significantly out of pocket and the company does not care. I would strongly avoid this company - woebegone free diving appear to do the same experience but with a lot more diligence and they actually answer the phone when called as a starter
David R — Google review
The worst dive center I have ever visited. Apart from the already overpriced trip, a week before my dive I was informed that the boat was out of service and most likely wouldn’t be repaired in time. My booking was changed from a Double Boat Trip to a Guided Shore Dive. The guide mentioned it was his first time doing a shore dive, as he usually dives from the boat. Judging by other reviews, however, the boat has been broken for over two months — yet the center still keeps selling boat trips. I was told I would receive a 50% refund, but after the dive, the center’s phone was turned off and all emails received an automated response. Finally I receive my refund 6 weeks later. If you have the option to dive elsewhere, avoid this place at all costs. Shore diving in the bay makes little sense if you’ve dived in places like Sydney — there’s simply nothing to see. The organization was terrible: the dive site was nearly 10 km away from the dive center, and we had to transport all our gear there ourselves. Things started with a one-hour delay due to the staff’s lack of organization, and there was no clear plan at all — the first dive was said to start “sometime in the next 1–3 hours” depending on when everyone showed up.
Mateusz K — Google review
I booked a dive here kind of on a whim, and it ended up being one of the most grounding and unforgettable experiences I’ve had in a long time. The team at Dive Jervis Bay weren’t just knowledgeable — they were genuinely kind, patient, and made me feel safe from the second I stepped on the boat. It wasn’t just about seeing the underwater world (which was absolutely stunning!!), it was about feeling present and connected again. If you’re looking for more than just a dive, but an experience that actually stays with you this is the place 🤿
Tara N — Google review
I had an incredible experience with Dive Jervis Bay! Swimming with the whales and seals was an unforgettable adventure. The staff's professionalism and attentiveness made the trip even more enjoyable. Their expertise in spotting whales and providing informative insights added to the excitement. The highlight was definitely swimming alongside numerous whales. A fantastic day out that I highly recommend!

Jervis Bay Brewing Co is a popular spot in the Shoalhaven Coast, offering a relaxed atmosphere to savor the flavors of Jervis Bay. Whether you're in their taproom or beer garden, you can enjoy specially brewed seasonal beers and delicious meals from their ever-changing food truck lineup. The brewery has transformed an industrial estate into a lively beer garden where you can unwind with a Bay of Plenty IPA in hand.
A nice spot to relax and enjoy some very fine beers. The tasting paddle was a great way to try a selection of brews. Tables inside were nice to escape a very hot day - but there is also lots of shade available at the outside tables. A food truck is available to purchase food. The burgers were very good.

I was staying 500m away at the Jarvis Bay Holiday park. Perfect walking distance 😁 Once again, another very professional business in the Huskisson area. Very friendly service, great range of beers brewed on-site. My favourite the Lager. The food Truck is run by 5 Little Pigs. They have a restaurant on the main road in town that I have already been to and was equally impressed with. Dog friendly.

We stumbled across Jervis Bay Brewing Co. while looking for somewhere relaxed to grab a cold one after a beach day. It had all the signs of a local gem — craft beer, outdoor seating, and that buzz of people who looked like they’d planned to stay for one drink and ended up settling in for the afternoon. 🌞 The vibe was spot on. Industrial warehouse meets coastal chill. Big picnic tables, dogs lazing around, kids dancing to live music, and beers flowing freely. It’s the kind of place that doesn’t try too hard, and yet nails exactly what you want — good drinks, simple food, and a welcoming atmosphere. 🍻 We started with a beer flight (a must). Each beer was distinct, but all super drinkable. No pretentious notes here, just really well-crafted brews. 🍕 When it came to food, we went classic. One pepperoni pizza and one ham and pineapple pizza — both thin-based, nicely crisped, and loaded with toppings. The pepperoni brought that salty, spicy kick, while the ham and pineapple was a perfect balance of smoky and sweet (yes, we’re 100% team pineapple). 🧄 But the real surprise? The garlic bread. Served Turkish toast style, it was golden, buttery, and full of garlicky goodness. It could honestly be its own meal. 🙌 Jervis Bay Brewing Co. is the kind of spot you visit once and immediately plan to return to. Whether you’re a beer lover or just after a chill afternoon with good food and even better vibes, it’s worth adding to your list.

We also won a meat platter in a raffle they were doing that night so bonus points there!

Nestled within Booderee National Park, the Booderee Botanic Gardens stand out as the sole botanic gardens owned by Aboriginal people in Australia. Visitors can partake in guided tours to delve into the Indigenous history of the area and gain insights into bush tucker and medicinal uses of local plants. The gardens offer a serene atmosphere with sprawling grounds around a lake, providing ample picnic areas and walking paths for leisurely strolls.
Lovely lovely lovely. Good access, beautifully managed gardens. The gardens include toilets, picnic area with electric bbq and drinking water. The paths vary between paved/easy and unpaved/moderate and there's signage to help you decide where to go if mobility is an issue; otherwise just rambling about was great fun and I saw loads of different birds as well as the flora. I visited on a warm winter day after heavy rain, it was lovely walking weather. The place has plenty of tree cover so hot days will be nice too. Immersive, absorbing, peaceful. Very glad I came and will visit again if I'm in the area. There's a few offgrid camp sites in the national park that surround the gardens: nice one!

Place is just getting worse as time goes on which is a shame as it really was a fun place to go for both adults and kids. Nearly half the machines don't work and the ones you think work just eat your money because buttons need replacing and the biggest crime of all no pinball machines. I don't see this place lasting much longer unfortunately.

I’ve visited this arcade before and had a great time, which is why I decided to come back tonight. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to find the arcade closed at 8:20pm, even though their website states that they should be open until 9:30 pm. It was pitch black and clearly not open, which was quite frustrating. I hope they update their hours online to avoid this confusion in the future.

Went in during the school holidays, most of the ticket games machines were out of order. They removed the laser tag for lame games that no one was using for the 1/2 hour we were there. Was looking forward to having a good time yet the kids were as disappointed as I was. A waste of $200+ dollars.

Don't waste your money. No exaggeration I would estimate 30% of the arcade machines are completely broken and the other 70% are faulty in some way. Seriously, don't waste your money.

This place is the coolest. Our boys loved it. So much for them to do and enjoy. I love they have so many arcade games, two large kid slides and dodgem cars. They work like timezone with a card that you load money onto. The staff are absolutely lovely. My two young toddlers only had enough for x1 100 point prize the amazing male staff member made it an even 200 points so they both didn't have to share. Just lovely of him. Thank you. 😊 I recommend stopping in if your ever in Ulladulla.

The course is thoughtfully designed to cater to varying skill levels, ensuring everyone can find their perfect challenge.
Fantastic place for all levels. My 5 year old grandson had so much fun on the junior course; my daughter and 8 year old granddaughter enjoyed the next 3 levels and there are harder ones available. Staff were amazing. Great value.

Visited Treetops Adventure for my birthday as I've wanted to try one of these since I was a kid. I had so much fun, my partner and I both did the 3 hardest courses available. Was a bit tricky to get past some obstacles but we made it and had a blast while doing so. The staff were friendly and informative giving a quick run down of how the harness and clips work. Recommend to anyone who is considering trying, it is well worth the money for such a fun experience.

Awesome!!, the team were super helpful and great instructors for anyone. The different levels working your way up to the most challenging is great way for breaking in and getting the hang of it. Highly recommend the views from the top are spectacular and it’s just all round great fun. Also can check out the zoo on the way through

Absolutely awesome day with the family. From check in to the safety team guiding us throughout the climbing material with precision, it was amazing. The climbs were challenging and made us move through our fear of heights, finishing off with black climb. Highly recommended

This was such an awesome way to spend the afternoon. It was challenging but still a heap of fun. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I went on 12/10, so a big shout-out to the team working that afternoon, you guys were great! I’m definitely sore, but it was totally worth it. Would definitely recommend! There were heaps of kids there having a great time, and I went for the more challenging climbs, absolutely awesome!

It was really good experience for a first timer. I tried all the courses except for the black course as it was under repair. I would love to do it again, do all the courses including the black course as well.

Staff keen and friendly and enthusiastic. Access through the zoo is a little painful as the Zoo manager is aggressive and inflexible which is a bummer because the tree tops guts are terrific. Avoid with dogs, and any service animals due to access through the zoo. Long courses and interesting. Spectator seating is almost non existent. Tree tops Staff fantastic.

Spanning 44km of dramatic coastline, Murramarang National Park is the ultimate spot to soak up some sun and explore the cliffs, headlands and pristine beaches of the NSW south coast. Be sure to pack your swimmers to hit the surf, binoculars for spotting peregrine falcons and sea eagles soaring high above the cliffs, and your fishing rod to catch dinner. Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW national parks and reserves. Pets and working dogs may be affected (1080 is lethal to cats and dogs). Pets and working dogs in the vicinity must be restrained or muzzled and must not enter the baiting location. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.

It is a very great spot to camp. The campsite at Pretty Beach was great and had great facilities for a national park. Although it required $1 to shower in hot water, the bathrooms were moderately clean. Mount Durras is also around this area. It is a great hiking area, although beware of snakes in the area. Overall, this is a great campsite to go to and I highly recommend anyone camping to come here.

Dropped by for lunch, our first visit. What great food! I had a burger and my wife a seafood platter. Both were fantastic! The service was fast and very friendly, we were aloud to sit in the courtyard with our two dogs. We will be back!

When I see a sign claiming to be the “best,” I’m always a bit skeptical—but Pelican Rocks Café absolutely delivered! I have to admit, this was hands-down the best fish and chips I’ve ever had in my life. Perfectly crispy batter, fresh, flaky fish, and just the right balance of crunch and flavor. Every bite was spot on! But the real showstopper? Their seafood tower—absolutely mind-blowing! Packed with an incredible selection of fresh, perfectly cooked seafood, it was a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. Every single item was full of flavor, cooked to perfection, and you could truly taste the freshness. Beyond the food, the café itself has a great vibe—relaxed, welcoming, and perfect for enjoying a seafood feast. The service was friendly and efficient, making the whole experience even better. If you’re anywhere near the area, this is a must-visit spot. I walked in skeptical and walked out convinced—they really do have the best fish and chips! Can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu.

We ordered the Fish and chose the local fresh Black Fish. We shared it between 2 and that was a large enough portion. The fish was crispy and not oily at all. Everything on the plate was to perfection. Customer service is on point. I’d highly recommend this place, and would visit again when in the area.

Had a great lunch at Pelican Rocks with friends during the week. Booked ahead for the seafood tower and also to secure a table. The place is very busy mid week even after the holidays had passed . Staff were friendly and managed the rush well. Food was very good and with a mix of hot and cold seafood . We ordered the lobster mornay on our tower which was delicious. One of our guests had barramundi and salad which was also nicely served. Would recommend to anyone but make sure you book . Will go again.

Dolphin Watch Cruises Jervis Bay offers a 90-minute cruise that takes visitors into the heart of Jervis Bay to search for its 100 resident bottlenose dolphins. While dolphin sightings are not guaranteed, the chances of spotting them from a boat are higher than from the shore. The tour provides educational value as well, with informative commentary about Jervis Bay from the captain. Additionally, passengers can enjoy fantastic ocean views during the cruise.
If you're looking for a memorable and breathtaking experience in the stunning Jervis Bay region, Dolphin Watch Cruises is an absolute gem. I recently had the pleasure of joining one of their cruises, and it truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we boarded the boat, the staff's warm welcome and enthusiasm set the tone for an incredible experience. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the local marine life, especially the dolphins. They provided fascinating insights into the area's ecosystem and the habits of the dolphins that call Jervis Bay home. The highlight, of course, was the dolphins themselves. We were lucky enough to see multiple pods of dolphins swimming alongside the boat, leaping and playing in the crystal-clear waters. The views were simply spectacular, with the scenic beauty of Jervis Bay adding to the magic of the encounter. The boat was comfortable, and there was plenty of space to move around for the best vantage points, whether you’re on the deck or inside. The cruise also offers a relaxing atmosphere, with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the surrounding beauty of the bay and its pristine waters. Whether you're a wildlife enthusiast, a photographer, or simply someone looking to unwind in nature, this cruise is a perfect way to spend a few hours. All in all, Dolphin Watch Cruises in Jervis Bay provides an exceptional way to connect with nature and experience the incredible marine life in the area. It’s an unforgettable experience that I highly recommend to anyone visiting this picturesque part of New South Wales. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this cruise is definitely worth it!

We joined a dolphin-watching cruise in Jervis Bay and while we didn’t spot any dolphins during the actual cruise, we were lucky to see one near the jetty just before boarding—which was still a nice surprise! The crew were friendly and knowledgeable, and the boat ride itself was relaxing with beautiful views of the bay. Even without many dolphins, it was a lovely way to spend the afternoon on the water. Would definitely try again—nature doesn’t always follow the schedule!

The staffs are great. They were happy to change the booking as we couldn’t make it on time due to an incident on the road. Paula is a gem, she jumped on the boom net with us and had great vibes. Saw many pods of dolphins. Had free coffee on board. Overall a very relaxing and laidback experience.
Swapnil T — Google review
Crew is amazing and the tour was great. The crew are so caring, constantly asking how their guests are and ensuring that they could see the dolphins swimming near the boat. The tour purposefully and respectfully finds and follows the dolphins to allow everyone a great experience. We had such a good time that we also booked the whale watching tour a few days later. Thanks for having us !! We will be back for more.
Chantelle S — Google review
Amazing experience to be had. Hamish and crew were great. We left it, a bit late in the Whale season to see a lot of Whales but Hamish pulled it off. Not a fantastic view of the Whales as they kept moving under the water. But we all got the bonus of seeing Dolphins 🐬 Will definitely be back and try again. 👍
Kim S — Google review
Had a good time & spotted some dolphins. Went down to the coast for days trip and weather was perfect. Only slight concern is to reconsider if you have toddlers. Noticed few of them getting restless as the cruise is longer than an hour.
Kelzang K — Google review
Pretty disappointing couldn't here what was being announced at all. The captain just seemed to be in a hurry to get from shore to shore in record time. No time to stop to look for dolphins no time to let anyone just to observe even the scenery. Plus the was no staff to man the shop so couldn't really get snacks or gifts for the kids. Very poor experience and please don't waste your money or time. Best getting a water taxi and have a better experience.
Leeanne B — Google review
A dolphin cruise without dolphins....I understand that they are animals and can't be persuaded to show up, but would've been nice if they mentioned where the dolphins could show up, and maybe wait a minute. No apologies or any type of compensation for not seeing dolphins. Made even worse with no one attending the consestion stand

Milkwood Bakery is a popular spot in the historic village of Berry, offering a variety of delectable pastries and cakes. Located on Queen Street, it's a must-visit during a South Coast road trip for their savory pies and sweet treats. The bakery's iconic sourdough bread is not to be missed. Despite its popularity, the staff provides quick and polite service. However, seating is limited, so it's best to plan accordingly.
Milkwood Bakery – Berry, NSW A charming bakery in the heart of Berry, known for its freshly baked sourdough, flaky pastries, and rich coffee. Must-tries include the Portuguese tart, sausage roll, and carrot cake. The outdoor seating is cozy and perfect for a relaxed break. Service can be hit-or-miss during busy times, and prices are on the higher side — but the quality makes it worth the stop. 👉 And this cafe does not offer chicken wrap menu for heating or toasting.

A must-stop for fresh bakes in Berry. Milkwood Bakery delivers on all fronts—artisan breads, flaky pastries, and standout sweets that taste as good as they look. Everything feels freshly made with care, and the quality is consistent across the board. Expect a bit of a queue during peak times, but it moves quickly and is well worth the wait. Great spot for a morning treat or takeaway for the road. Must try their curry chicken pie.

Lovely bakery in Berry! Staff were welcoming, coffee was great and the pastries were nice. Great breakfast options and good value for money. (Personally I am not a big fan of scrambled eggs presented on top of the bread as it make it soggy, but that just me) Relaxed vibe and family friendly, our perfect stop when visiting Berry.

Drawing Room Rocks is a fascinating rock formation that offers a glimpse into the area's geological past. The surrounding area features several bushwalks, such as the White Sands Walk, Scribbly Gum Track, and Pigeon House Mountain Didthul Walking Track, allowing visitors to explore diverse landscapes. The trail to Drawing Room Rocks provides stunning views of the coast and mountain range but can be challenging due to its steep and slippery sections.
Whilst it was very misty, the rocks formations were beautiful. Took us 33 mins to come down. We are in our 60s of good fitness. It was an enjoyable challenge. It is mainly uphill most of the time, and the rocks can be slippery. Remember to take water. If you have a pre-existing injury, such as a sore knee, this walk may not suit you. I drive a BMW and we managed the dirt track up to the parking area, driving slowly. There is no entry fee, but parking is limited.
Grahame — Google review
Nice walk up to the rocks through the bush. Not too long, just over an hour up and back. Clouds obscured the view at the top which was disappointing, would definitely be better off waiting for a clear day to go. Last stretch of road to the start of the walk was a bit treacherous. Overall a positive experience, a good, relatively short bush walk, with rewarding views of Broughton Vale (at least on a clear day)
Christian B — Google review
It's about a 3km round trip to the summit & back. The track is about to go under some big repair work as has been damaged by recent heavy rains, so will be easier soon. Big steps, easy to trip or slip- so advise to take it slow. The view is incredible at the top - take a snack and linger on the rocks that make nice flat seats. And take binoculars!! You'll want to pick out the many towns, roads, and headlands you'll see.

Ummm, it’s an amazing lookout, however, if you’re unfit you will need others around you to jolly you along! The ascent is challenging, for the unfit. The descent is a dream for the unfit! It is worth it, very beautiful views and somewhere a bit different. I imagine it would be very tricky on the weekends, parking wise, so maybe check with a local first before driving up. The parking is very limited and informal. Don’t have a big lunch before the climb! Enjoy!

Amazing scenery and overlooking view of the coast/mountain range. It takes approximately 45mins hike to go up so around 2 hours return. You’ll need 2.5-3hrs minimum time to hike here. The trail is bit challenging so you also have to be physically fit. This is a medium level trail but you’ll be able to hike with your kids with supervision especially in the cliffs.

Pioneer Village Museum Kangaroo Valley is a historical complex located near the heritage-listed Hampton Bridge, offering visitors an immersive experience into the area's pioneer era. The museum features replica pioneer-era buildings such as a settler's cottage, school, blacksmith's forge, and dairy, all furnished with period artifacts. Set on 7 hectares of bushland with walking tracks, it provides a family-friendly environment for learning about the region's history.
A Step Back in Time – Amazing Experience! The Pioneer Museum in Kangaroo Valley is like stepping back into the past! This well-maintained historical site offers such a rich glimpse into life from earlier days, with detailed displays and artifacts that tell the story of the valley’s heritage. Walking through, you can almost feel the history come alive! The highlight for me was the beautiful hanging bridge that provides stunning views of the surrounding bushland and creek below – definitely a must-see. The bushwalk around the property was also fantastic, with peaceful natural surroundings that really add to the experience. Perfect for anyone wanting a scenic walk paired with a bit of history. Highly recommended for families and history lovers alike! Especially the cottage takes you back in TIME

Great historical museum telling the story of early settlers in Kangaroo Valley. Lots of old buildings and displays to explore. Very family-friendly — kids will enjoy walking through and learning about pioneer life. A wonderful stop for all ages!

What a wonderful slice of history available for the public to see and appreciate. It’s a self guided tour but everything is clear and easy to follow. It has all been so well preserved.

I went there reading reviews about the bushwalk behind the museum where you can see many native Australian birds. But I found none except the sign that "beware of snakes". But the museum is great. It's amazing to see how simple life used to be and the efforts people put to do small daily chores. The general feel in Kangaroo valley is really good,,, simple and peaceful. There is a river just 5 mins walk away from the museum which is worth visiting too.

Interesting place to take our homeschooled child to see what life used to be like. We enjoyed the bush walk and spotting all the birds. It was a little run down but that kinds of ads to it I think

The Pioneer Village Museum Kangaroo Valley just off Moss Vale Rd near the Hampden Bridge is a great place to turn back time for the afternoon! There are several buildings, including the dairy, forge, school house, settler’s cottage, and the war remembrance room, and also a great suspension bridge to cross... Our time here was more looking over all the artifics of each building that had surprise me how much is there to see and read about... The Pioneers village museum is well worth your time with the family and to show the children how life was back in the day or just to have a BBQ lunch and wander through the bushland of the area... There is carparking available along with toilet facilities.

For just $10 per adult I had a nice time looking at this small but interesting little village. There was some war relics and information about the local boys being in the light horse regiment. Old farm equipment and huts the way the early folk used to live. There are picnic tables to have lunch and the towns historic bridge is right near by. There is a short bush walk too over the swing bridge.

Cape St George Lighthouse, located within Booderee National Park, offers a glimpse into its 19th-century history through its picturesque ruins perched on dramatic cliffs. Recognized as a significant European historic site, the lighthouse boasts a dark and storied past. Visitors can follow a path to reach the clifftop for breathtaking views of the rugged coastline. The area also provides insight into early European settlement, albeit with a tinge of sadness due to historical events.
It is an excellent spot as I would say a must visit. Great combination of history and natural beauty. There are six kilometres of gravel road. Pretty easy to travel by 2 WD.
Aditya C — Google review
This lookout was one of the highlights of our holiday, and to think others live near this! One of the key features to this lookout was the drive, not too far away from Jervis Bay- and before hitting the parking lot, we were met with an influx of vibrant forestry overlooking the Horizons edge. Upon arrival, we were met with the ruins of the houses that many individuals inhabited. Stone walkways, alternative trails and a picnic bench near the rock pools. Deeper into the ruins, there is a taller lookout you can come across, where we were met with a sea eagle above. Great spot for family photos. Nearing the edge of the cliffside, there's a small fence barricading you from going further, except it is not wrapped fully around the edge, and making it easy to climb over. This is for parents with adventurous kids to stay cautious of, not to let their kid off-leash and explore, since there are several entry way points to come close to the edge and fall down without anyone noticing. Despite the exceptional view, it is a hazard- and when going around it myself and to the cliffs edge, there were broken glass particles on the ground. Not a good sign. I took a short panning video of how high we truly were, panning across my feet and the drop below. A good fact is that going off to the coastal edge of Australia, it is in fact just a huge drop, just like this!

This place is fabulous 😍 Short stroll from the carpark (roughly 400mts) there is another path that takes you to a cliff slide, but the ruins of the lighthouse are great. No amenities near this site . National Park fees as usual

Great views and an easy drive followed by a short walk. There is a small fee to enter the Booderee National Park. The historic lighthouse and other structures are worth a visit.

A lovely spot with historic ruins and beautiful views. A drive along a gravel road and a short walk. Information signs need some maintenance but we did manage to see some Whales while admiring the view.

Although the road is a bit narrow and requires careful driving but the stunning view make it totally worth the trip!

So many whales just off the coast! Dolphins too! Enjoyed our visit to three lighthouse on a cold dry day. I imagine it's difficult to get to if it's been raining :-)
Karen R — Google review
Great spot to see whales passing by, bring your binoculars and drinking water. Information boards were very interesting. The ruins are really unique and you can get up close to the structure on one side. I would like to see a flag pole to represent the original height of the light house though. Be careful when walking and keep hold of small children as there are major cliff edges. There's a waterfall to the north of the lighthouse. Nice drive to get there, there roads were being upgraded and sealed in prep for the 2025 October holidays. Not much parking. Toilets on site.

The Milton Hotel is a historic establishment located in the golden town of Milton, near Mollymook Beach. It offers a diverse experience for visitors, from enjoying the ocean views and fish and chips at the nearby beach hut cafe to cooling off with a cold beer on the deck during summer or savoring whiskey in the lounge during winter. The hotel is also home to Dangerous Ales Brewery, known for its range of beers crafted by South Coast chef Damien Martin.
Went for lunch today and it was the best pub meal ever!! A little fancier than what we intended having but OMG delicious!! We shared the steak, ribs, curry prawns and cabbage ... all so very yummy. The service and our waitress was fantastic. Loved everything about this place. Nice view included! Thank you for a lovely experience and we look forward to another meal with you.
L T — Google review
The bar looks a bit shabby, the dining area is nice. I thought I was going into a normal pub with the usual pub food menu. It was nice to see something a bit different. The food was pricey, but good. The steak was very good, a little gristly. My wife had yellow fin tuna, it was nice enough, but lacking much flavour. The bloke working at the bar thought he was something special, cracking unfunny jokes and being a bit patronising to customers. I imagine it would rub people the wrong way. We saw two separate families walk in, sit down, look at the menu and promptly walk out. I assume they were expecting typical pub fare at typical prices. This is not the place for that. Overall, it was quite good but nothing special.
A M — Google review
Absolutely terrible booking experience, service and food, specially for the price. Booked hoping for a nice meal only to discover it was burgers only and no alterations allowed which was not particularly family or dietary friendly. Very abrupt service and informed that there was no table service. When the fish burger arrived it was raw inside and not just a little bit, like, totally raw. Was told that the chicken couldn’t be done without sauce as it was in the marinade, only to have it arrive with the sauce on top. Refund for the burger given with no apology or offer to redress. No alcoholic ginger beer. Location is nice though.
Andrea H — Google review
There tend to be pubs and gastro-pubs. The Milton Hotel manages to straddle that divide by having a laid back vibe but also putting out restaurant-quality food. It helps that the open-plan dining room, edged in glass but centred around a blazing domed pizza oven, feels casual rather than stuffy. It has pared back decor: not much more than blonde wood tables and school room chairs, hanging paper lanterns and draped greenery. With a wrap-around back deck, it makes you think of the impending summer, even on a cold wintery evening. The pub is home to the Dangerous Ales brewery, who first introduced me to floral Ryefield hops in a hazy pale ale I drank in Pambula. They make a delicious Killer Raspberry Sour ($11.50/middy) and an earthy blackberry and beetroot gose—One Eyed Purple People Eater ($13.50/middy)—that drinks flatter and may be an acquired taste. Wines, like the savoury La Violetta Grenache ($16.50/glass), are interesting and all available by the glass, so mix and match to your heart’s content. The menu, put together by owner/chef Damien Martin (ex-Quay), is designed to be shared. Risk sticky fingers by ripping straight into blistered and puffy wood-fired bread ($18.50) sitting in a pool of smoked mussel butter. Fire-roasted Clyde River oysters ($30/4) make hot chicken fat work balanced by ponzu and finger lime, with a hole left to taste the gob-stopping bivalve. Potato scallops ($12/2) are bite-sized and airy, cheffy but without straying too far from what made you love ‘em in the first place. The wagyu beef short rib ($70) was a stonker-you portion for two people. The wombok ‘slaw and sesame crumb was such a good counterpoint, I was tempted to beg for a recipe. BBQ gai lan ($19.50) lashed with whipped tofu, fermented chilli and black vinegar, was messy to serve but a smoky revelation. We were tempted to dine again this evening, stopped only by them not opening on Sunday nights!
Jackie M — Google review
Booked a table, waited 21 minutes to place our order, then waited 29 minutes for the food. When it arrived it was raw. When we told the waiter he said that's how we cook it. Really, it literally had the cow walk across from the paddock and hop in the bun. Here's the fabulous photo of it......the service it much to be desired for. This is one local place ill be crossing off my list.
Aroha C — Google review
On a recent visit to the South Coast we drove to the tiny and attractive town of Milton for lunch. Milton is perched on a thin ridge, with hills and views either side and the escarpment towering in the distance. Unfortunately, like Moss Vale in the Southern Highlands – another favourite place – the main street is also the main highway. Cross if you dare. We had lunch at the Milton Hotel and it was a revelation. For many years we’d been visiting Milton and seeing signs notifying everyone that the pub was being renovated and would open again soon. Well, all I can say is ‘not soon enough.’ This was our first visit and it didn’t disappoint. The space is several spaces, all interesting, including a stretching balcony overlooking the rolling hills of the South Coast. The food was terrific – their large open wood fired oven is a big feature. We had wood roasted fish with peas, crunchy samphire and clam velouté, wood fired prawns with curry butter, tamarind and lime and wood fired flatbread with smoked mussel butter. The wine list was small but interesting, with some unusual gems, and as befits a brewery whose handle is ‘dangerous ales’, the beer list was dangerous indeed. I am very partial to dark beers and this was a dark beer heaven. I had to drink midis, a very small beer glass, so I could try more than one – a Munich-style dunkel and an aged stout. Two small orange chocolates at local chocolatier, Woodside Chocolates, finished my meal. We then headed South to Malua Bay, of course stopping in at legendary sourdough bakery, Lagom, tucked in beside the bridge at Burrill Lake, just along from an equally legendary fish and chip shop.
Stephen C — Google review
Lovely venue and experience. The sun drenched dining room on a winters is cozy and warm and the quality of the food cooked in the kitchen is deserving of the chef hat they received indeed!
Issac M — Google review
Drawn here on account of the raving reviews. We came here on a winters.day so no issues with seating. We promptly ordered a short rib and gai lan. The visuals were very striking and I couldn't wait to tuck into the the scrumptiously cooked short rib. Then the salt stops you midway. The ribs were unfortunately focused with a very salty glaze which impacted the enjoyment of the meat. The gai lan was also subject to heavy handed seasoning albeit more palatable. Overall food was cooked well but was let down by the sauces

Meroogal is a stunning 1800s Carpenter Gothic–style house located at 35 West Street in Nowra, New South Wales. Built in 1886 for Mrs. Jessie Catherine Thorburn and her four daughters, the property has been home to four generations of women who have left their mark on the building. Managed by the Historic Houses Trust, Meroogal boasts an impressive collection of Victorian furniture and household objects.
Finally had the opportunity to see this beautiful home. It is right next to the showground so can be paired with a visit to Hanging Rock or Ben’s Walk. The staff are lovely and our tour guide was Nicole, she was engaging and friendly. The tour was over an hour long but it didn’t drag at all as there is so much to see in the home. I’m an architecture buff so the small details about the construction of the home were of particular interest to me. To make the most of a visit, I would recommend reading up on the history of the home prior as 4 generations can be a lot to digest, it also helped me to understand the tour better. Nicole did give us a run down of the family tree which was much appreciated and put everything in perspective. A treasure well worth visiting.

A fantastic tour round a fascinating house full of history... definitely worth a visit if you love social history, old houses and old stuff in general. A local treasure 👍👍
David W — Google review
I saw this place on the map and thought this distinctive historic home was a must to visit. I was not disappointed. Finding out that the last generation from the same family had lived here during my lifetime made a big impression. The house is basically kept intact from that era - when families entertained visitors in the genteel drawing room, and the world was moving towards new machines and home equipment. The home is large, but daintily beautiful, filled with artifacts and accoutrements of its extensive heyday. The best way to see Meeroogal is on one of the tours, conducted by a knowledgeable volunteer, who also made it interesting for young children.
Margaretha K — Google review
We had an amazing experience here. We were lead around the grounds and throughout the house by a very knowledgeable guide. We learned a lot about the history of the house and surrounding area. This is definitely worth a tour if you're in the area, or passing through town. Our tour took around 1 hour 45 mins. It can be a lot quicker depending on how many questions you ask.
Josh P — Google review
What a completely unexpected but amazing property to explore! The volunteer made the experience a 10/10, with both well researched knowledge of the property but also in a fun, interactive way - an absolute star and completely made the experience what it was. Meroogal is a time capsule and must see if in the area. It will not disappoint!
Sebastian D — Google review
Meroogal is fantastic! I went on a tour of this place today conducted by the lovely Rebecca, Rebecca's bubbliness, knowledge and enthusiasm made the tour a fun one and I learnt a lot about the house, the family who owned it and the tenants who also lived there. The house itself was very beautiful and it was great to see the personal touches the owners put in the house over the years. For those who are thinking about doing the tour of this place, definitely do it because it is totally worthwhile. Rebecca showed us lots of artefacts and willingly answered any questions we may had.

Explore the stunning Three Views walking track in Kangaroo Valley, offering a relatively easy 9.5km clifftop walk across Brooks Plateau that takes about three to four hours to complete. The track provides breathtaking lookouts showcasing vistas of the Shoalhaven River, Lake Yarrunga, and Tallowa Dam. Located in the north of Morton National Park, this trail features three cliff-edge viewing points with different perspectives of the surrounding landscapes.
Complete with my hat, water and a friend, this was a pleasant ridgeline hike to three easy to access natural lookouts ... a carpark on the opposite side of the road to the entrance is safe and convenient. If you are staying in Kangaroo Valley, then this and the short drive down the road to the dam are worth the time and effort.
Mark W — Google review
Very easy walk, bit rocky in places and a bit gravely. To visit all three lookouts your looking at 9.5km but if you want you can just turn left and to the Shoalhaven River lookout which gives you the best view of the dam.
Chrissy K — Google review
Very easy and leisurely walk. It is mosly flat wide trail and it took us 2h to get to all 3 views. Each one is breathtaking.
Voi J — Google review
It's all about the end view with these walks. Beautiful open cliff edge rock platforms await at the end of the Lake Yarrunga View Trail - which provides the best views of the three trails here. The dirt track is easy grade, wide and level however not as picturesque as the end views. There's also not much shade cover along the track so bring hats/sunscreen. Tips: - Entry to this trail is not sign posted. Look out for the '100' speed limit signage flanking both sides of the road. There is a small parking area to one side of the road and the trail gate is right opposite the parking area. - Pack a bite and spend a lovely afternoon soaking up some sunshine on a rock platform.

Great walking track, a three different routes you can take total walk about 9km. It’s flat mostly with a few rocky bits but easily doable for average fitness. Walking shoes or trainers recommended. Fantastic views.

This is a relatively easy walk. A little uneven, but I would think most ppl could manage it. Going out to the Lake lookout and the Tallowa Dam lookout, we were rewarded with fabulous views. Reminders of last year's bushfire are everywhere, but so is the evidence of nature's resilience. Looking forward to visiting again in spring.
Steve A — Google review
Beautiful set of three short walks, really flat and family friendly, clear signage, at track start (pictured). 9km if you walk all three tracks but great simple short walks on their own. Very open cliffs! Would be suitable for a off road pram
Coralie M — Google review
9k combined easy walking- there and back for each view. Pretty exposed fire trails so be prepared if hot but the view back over the dam is worth it! If you have to choose one of the three I would choose the dam view as it was the best of the three (for me) - there wasn’t much water in river when I visited!

Just a great tour. Cam was extremely helpful and accommodating for us in planning a short notice tour for myself and my wife. Lunch at Cambewarra Estate Winery was incredible, wine tasting and cheese at Silos Estate was very nice, and the final tasting session at Coolangatta Winery was amazing and very enjoyable. A top day out, and so very relaxing. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I recently booked Foodscape tours to celebrate a hens weekend. Cam the owner & tour guide was professional, punctual, warm and welcoming. There were a few last minute changes to the size of our group and Cam was very accommodating. The wineries that we visited were of a high quality and the lunch (included in the tour cost) was simply divine. Although the cost of this tour was a touch higher than others advertised in the area I believe that the presentation of the bus and operator when coupled with the exquisite venues visited and the inclusion of a beautiful lunch most certainly was worth every cent. Thanks again Cam for making our tour so enjoyable & ensuring the day was perfect for our bride to be.

We had an incredible time on our fusion tour! The wineries and the food venues we visited were spectacular. Getting to see the Berry community in action was a great experience. Troy and Cam are fabulous hosts. Picked up early, easy going and fun. Went above and beyond to help us... even booked us lunch the next day, took us to the club after the tour ended and sorted taxis for later in the night. Most of all, Troy was a great back up singer on the bus (we were obviously the stars!) Highly recommended.

When staying at Kiama, we wanted to do a wine tour of the Shoalhaven region so Googled tour operators. From the get-go, Cam (foodscape tours) was brilliant, responding over the busy NY period and organising a private tour for the two of us. The wineries were lovely and we'd highly recommend Coolangatta and Silos for their attentive wine tastings and cheese platters. The first stop was the Berry Chocolatier and OMG, it's divine - much better than Cadbury lol. Try the honeycomb - trust me - your teeth won't die! Thank you Cam for an amazing last day in Kiama and we wish you and your family all the best.

This lookout has a fantastic view with a short trail (stairs) which allows you to see many amazing rock formations. Friendly for kids but not those with mobility challenge as you need to walk through some stairs. The view of Shoalhaven River is so vast and windy as though you are looking at the ocean! Parking is only 50m away so it's very convenient. There are benches at the flat area so if you are travelling with elderly who don't want to explore the trail, they can rest at the sitting area and enjoy the view. Plenty of parking space, even a camp ground. The hanging rock is worth seeing. The water as a photo background makes the picture as well. Not sure how busy this place during weekend, we found it perfect during quiet weekdays, despite it’s not wow, I’ve no hesitation to recommend it.

The path shows significant signs of erosion, something that needs to be addressed. It is also quite narrow in places, and encountering a mountain-bike careening towards you makes for an unpleasant and potentially dangerous stand-off. The scenery itself is more than worthwhile though.

Greg G — Google review
Visited here for the view. Beautiful view which is directly accessible by car, no need to walk. However, a few trekking routes are available if wanted to do so. No BBQ (it said under construction) Has taps to wash hands.

It boasts top-notch sound and lighting systems, creating an inviting atmosphere with exceptional acoustics for various live performances such as plays, opera, and dance shows. The theater's volunteer staff contributes to its welcoming ambiance. It feels like a return to the theatres of my youth, every time I visit magical Milton Theatre: fab acts and performances, slick processing and tight squeezing to get inside. I love it
Gillian L — Google review
Very cute venue that has ample space but still feels intimate. Very limited range of beverages for sale at the performance, although very well priced.
Kylie — Google review
Great little theatre, many different types of shows with music and comedy key for me. Reasonable priced wine and beers sold and snacks. This show was Ross Noble, which was great.

My parter and I live in Milton and we are always very excited to see who's up next at the fabulous Milton Theatre with it's great volunteer staff and great Acoustics ( sound) great viewing great atmosphere and reasonable in price but you must get in early for the top billing bands like Richard Clapton. His voice has not changed since the 70s well done Milton Theatre as per usual regards Mark Wilden
Mark W — Google review
The show was lovely from the moment they took the stage. The cast energy was infectious, and we could see their talent and charism. I really enjoy!!!!
Zorayda G — Google review
Very small, lots of atmosphere. Been there many times over the years for some great shows. GOT BITTEN THOUGH LAST NIGHT, the show we went to see was advertised for an 8pm start. They had decided to throw on two other local performers. The main show started near 2 hours later. All good if we had known, we planned the night around the advertised start time of 8pm and could not stay for the show we paid to see. NOT HAPPY
Jeff L — Google review
Great show by Shaun Wessel and his band in an excellent venue. The only thing that spoiled it was that the people next to and behind us talked loudly all through the show, making it difficult to hear the performance.
Jennifer A — Google review
Historical small theatre with fabulous acoustics. Very intimate and extremely well run by passionate volunteers. Seen a few live musical shows and very well received by all patrons.

Scenic spot
George Boyd Lookout offers a perfect blend of coastal and hinterland views, stretching from Jervis Bay to Kioloa. The viewing platform provides stunning vistas of the tall-treed forest below. Nearby, visitors can explore a lush rainforest track for a bit of bushwalking. While the road to the lookout may be closed at times, it's worth the walk from Granite Falls or taking the rainforest trail for breathtaking views over the coast.
Beautiful look out over Sussex inlet to bawley point area, stunning park forests. Great to hear the birds sing from the lookout.
Jeremy F — Google review
You can drive all the way to the lookout. We had a 4WD but 2WD with good clearance would be okay - take the Twelve Mile Rd not any other suggestions by Google maps!! Granite Falls after a couple rainy days was the real highlight though.
Diane — Google review
Easy drive to the top parking area. Walk to the left side and view the turtle like rock formation on edge of the cliff.

Nice easy short walk to the lookout. Cool looking mini orchards over the rocks.

Hard track but great view from the lookout

Great views but the rainforest walk is where it's at! Not very long but couldn't walk 10m without taking another photo!

We had an amazing tour of Callala Bay with Dane and got to discover a beautiful part of the Bay we had never visited before. Dane has a wealth of local knowledge and picked out a route that was perfect for the conditions. We learned so much on our tour, from local history to wildlife to the best spots to visit on our trip. The tour was a highlight for us, but Dane's tips also continued to add to our time in Jervis Bay after the tour was over. The homemade cookies and the photos were a very nice personal touch. Highly recommend Sea Kayak Jervis Bay! Hope to be back soon.

My husband and I spent Saturday morning with Dane on the sea kayaks in Callala Bay and surrounds. I honestly could not recommend this experience enough, it was one of the funnest things we've ever done! Dane is an incredible, knowledgeable and kind guy, makes for a very fun morning! His homemade morning tea was delicious! Just to top the day off we got to paddle out to a pod of dolphins! He took photos and videos of it all! If you're on the fence about trying this, don't be, incredible! We will 1000% be back soon.
Maddison W — Google review
Our tour with Dane was the highlight of our time in Jervis Bay! From start to finish, he made the day feel personal, relaxed, and full of discovery. It was clear he genuinely wanted us to have the best possible experience, regardless of what the Bay had for us that day. He shared so much local knowledge about the area, wildlife, and history while keeping everything fun and engaging. The bay itself was stunning, and spending the day on the crystal-clear water and the white sand beaches was epic. I can't imagine a better way to enjoy the water and beaches of Jervis Bay. Dane went above and beyond capturing photos and videos for us, so we could enjoy the moment without worrying about missing a single memory. He provided a google drive folder filled with photos and videos the evening after our tour which included videos of the animals we saw as well. I loved sharing these with my family! When Dane found out my sister and I were traveling down the coast, he gave us a list of must-see places and things to do. We had some very cool experiences that we would have missed out on otherwise because of his recommendations. He also had a list for the area that he shared. I’ve told everyone I’ve met in Australia that this is a must-do experience, and I’ll absolutely be booking again when we return. If you’re considering it, just book and enjoy! You’ll be so glad you did.
Kelly C — Google review
Exceptional scenery, even better experience with Dane! Back for the second time due to my 5 year old insisting we go kayaking again it was a no brainer to get back in contact with Sea Kayak Jervis Bay. Beyond Dane's remarkable local knowledge and knack for finding the best beach morning tea spots around (and providing the best cakes), he has a wonderful ability to cater the experience to all. A fantastic way to take in all that Jervis Bay has on offer!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Had an amazing time kayaking today! Dane was the best – super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience fun and safe. We were lucky enough to spot dolphins too, which made it even more unforgettable! The service was top-notch from start to finish. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a great time on the water!
V&T_transport2025 — Google review
Myself and my 14yo had an incredible day out with Dane. His professionalism, his quality gear, and his deep knowledge of the area were all top notch. Which was a massive bonus for us as we aren’t regular kayakers! He knew where to take us and what to look out for, and we were lucky with to have perfect weather AND to watch a huge pod of dolphins swim and play while out in the water. Could not have been a better day, thanks Dane.
Sophie B — Google review
We had an amazing time kayaking here! The scenery is absolutely stunning and very easy to get around. Lots of wildlife about, even got to see giant stingrays. Dane and Max were great and really helpful, got some great recommendations for the rest of our trip too! Highly recommend☺️

It was my first time kayaking, and it turned out to be a safe and special experience. The weather wasn’t the best and I was worried it might be dangerous, but he kindly answered all my questions, provided a warm jacket and hot tea, and constantly checked if we were cold. His service was truly excellent. He didn’t just guide the kayak tour — he also introduced us to various marine life and which made it a really special experience for my mom and me. Thank you for giving us such a memorable day. We’ll definitely come back again when the weather is nicer. Highly recommended!
