This is one of those rare gems. While not overly large it's definitely worth the visit. Staff friendly and exhibits of a high standard, plus it's FREE!
Well presented small museum, worth a visit if passing by. The adjecent gift shop and cafe has a good variety.
It was an amazing experience with so much knowledge to offer for young and old. So much interesting history to read and look at. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit at the museum and we will definitely go again. Very friendly staff, extremely inviting. Highly recommend.
Without a doubt the best organisation of displays I have ever seen. An amazing journey through Australian wartime history, not one item displayed is a replica piece. A heartfelt thank you is also extended to WO2 Steven Black for the wealth of knowledge he shared with us on our self guided tour, also to our service men and women past and present. You can tell this museum is staffed with the most dedicated people, including the team in the caffee/restaurant.
Disappointing, Outside looks like a prison, It would be good if it was more interactive for kids Eg. Put the helicopter outside to allow decent photos, have a tank or truck kids can sit in... Have a rifle that people can touch, even a chained up decommissioned one you get a photo with You can buy full size metal replicas in WA, here everything is bolted down behind glass.. The museum itself is a giant gun safe you walk into, some of the best guns are upstairs, many busted old boys wouldn't go up the stairs, there's a lift but l don't think they'd bother The experience on site could/should motivate a kid to join later I think many opportunities/benefits of this site are missed by a boring design that doesn't engage the visitor Would a person of any age talk excitedly about visiting here? No of course not For a young boy to get a pic with an assault rifle would be the highlight of his year, creating a desire to hold it again, to fire a real one It's not hard to disign and build something interesting, This place is flat and lifeless Best thing about this museum is watching it get smaller in the mirror driving away
One of the best museums; a great deal of respect goes for all those who sacrificed their life spanning a number of conflicts from the Great War to present conflicts. The artifacts and detailed information presents great insights into the the struggles and honor amongst our servicemen. Highly recommended!
Superb museum: great number and variety of displays, all very well maintained. Heaps of information, so much that it's impossible to take it all in. Cherry on top: it's FREE!
This place is one of the best military museums in Australia. It is geared towards the Australian Infantry Regiments and as such it’s exhibits are about infantry, not the army or defence force as a whole. It is clean, tidy and very well priced. The staff are friendly and usually available for questions or a tour and are for the most part current of ex-serving members of the Infantry Corp. It may be a little out of the way but it is worth a drive as it will rekindle the Australian spirit within anyone with an ounce of patriotism. It also has a cafe that serves up some excellent grub and drinks. Staff- 5/5 Cleanliness- 5/5 Exhibits- 5/5 Food and drink- 5/5 Utilities- 5/5

Very lovey staff. They will provide you with information on places to go in the region. Made our day.
Went in to stretch our legs during a long and rainy drive. The lady working here was fantastic, invited us to go into the free gallery then sent us of with some extra information, booklets and dinner recommendations.
Toilets. What else would you need after a few hours in the car. No need to spend up just have an empty and be on your way. I presume there's some interesting info in the visitor centre. Hopefully, we will one day have high tech cameras that can capture the beauty of the orange pigface. Isn't the human eye an incredible sensor? These orange pigface are not at the visitors centre. Anyhow you've had something to read whilst you have a dump.
Very helpful staff and plenty of information. I bought a lovely postcard :)
Lovely clean bathroom facilities and great coffee
Great spot for a coffee and meal when doin road trips
Nice modern space offering a small selection of local products including chocolates, mustards, honey etc as well as the usual guide books. The staff are very pleasant and there is a very nice art gallery as well.
Does well in the presentation competition. Adequate brochure rack with staff to assist. Much of display stock seemed, to me, out of place. Art Centre is interesting.

I’ve traveled the world multiple times and this sun dial has captivated me every time. I’ve never felt more mesmerised by a sundial, in all its glory. I love it. From a technical perspective, it tells the time very well. But from my soul, it heals something in me.
Quirky big thing. Lovely rose gardens. Parking is difficult but doable
Located in the quaint regional town of Singleton is the largest sundial in the southern hemisphere. A must for all looking to explore the charms of regional Australia.
Worth a visit. And it's accurate. Checked against iPhone clock. Most certainly a marvel of engineering science. Free to visit.
Awesome huge sundial. Needs parking so people can stop and get out of their car to have a proper look.
Kinda cool.... to be honest I didn't realise it was a giant sundial and I think I only pulled over to answer a call on my phone.
Architecturally pleasing, very large in diameter and height, not the typical form you would expect from a sundial.
Once the BIGGEST BIG Sundials in the world but now it is still the BIGGEST BIG Sundial in the southern hemisphere and it is accurate !! A lovely sculpture, plenty of parking.

Amazing experience. So well laid out and so much history. Well worth a visit. The ladies from the society were wonderful and so knowledgeable. One of the best small museums I have seen.
Amazing. So much to see. My family really enjoyed the experience here. Very nice staff with professional insights.
Very exciting to see the history of singleton, very lovely couple running the place.
A wonderful museum full of very interesting items, machinery and history. A must see when you're in town. Run by lovely volunteers. A true insight into the history of Singleton. Lovely place, highly recommended.
Loved it found some Bates family history on cricket by accident, very friendly and helpful staff do visit
Super helpful people who work/volunteer here. Quite passionate about what they do and the service they provide. Grateful for the information they persisted to look for and couldn't have been more of a help!
Anyone interested in Singleton and surrounding areas will love this place
Such a great historical place! Massive collection! Very friendly team. Good place to bring children. Wants to return sometime. Open daily except Mondays.

A nice park to stop and have a packed lunch with the bats hanging out in the trees
It's a pretty park, but the bats have ruined the once beautiful trees and you can't hear the MC at either ANZAC Day or Remembrance Day services at the cenotaph due to the screeching bats
Nice park except for flying fox colony
Bats have ruined this beautiful park & SCC obviously dont care and haven't done anything about it and yet tax paying money goes towards anything from repairs to lawn maitnence and it can't be used.
Nice park, sitting area, next to petrol station, lots of flying foxes to watch.
The bats have finally reduced, but now the park feels lifeless without the huge old trees. Hopefully the trees fill in again and the bats stay away. Decent place to stop for a break although parking is poor. The toilets are acceptable.
Beautiful day and very tranquil. Was Until the mad traffic congestion started on George Street with school and mine workers going to work making it pretty noisy and worst of all, cars and trucks bumper to bumper and very chaotic in and around that area for hours.
A great park for picnics and walks. It has a band Rotunda and a Cenotaph, public toilets and a play area and the Singleton Historical Society & Museum is situated on the Bourke street side of the park, now that the bat problem has died down the ANZAC and Remembrance day service's are back in the park where they belong. If you're look for a good pub meal the Royal hotel/ motel is across the street and The Horse and Jocky is on the opposite side of the street next to the service station both have great pub style meals at great prices with a children's menu and children are welcome.

Very nice park with an iconic tank (Matilda) in front. Their child play area is well maintained. Enjoyed seating in Quota Court Sensory Garden in the early morning. They also have an information centre which is open 24 hours and a cafe (Parkview cafe).
Best price & good service for change or repair your tyre in Cabramatta
Excellent place. Lots of fun for kids. A long circuit for bikes or scooters for children and a lovely playground.
I recently visited RTownhead Park and was pleasantly surprised by its well-maintained facilities. The park itself is very scenic and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing day out. The toilets were remarkably clean and well stocked, a feature you don't commonly see in most parks. Kudos to the management for ensuring such great hygiene standards. Would highly recommend a visit to Townhead Park!
I'm putting the 5 stars down for the lovely Matilda II parked on the lawn that my kids loved, and what it could be, if the Hunter Valley bogans and druggos finally choose to stop using beautiful vintage weapons that once protected Australia in actual wars as their trailer park outbuilding rubbish bins.
This has been our must do first stop out of Sydney travelling north for a few trips now. Restrooms are always clean, feels safe, and well maintained. The coffee shop and souvenir shop just add to the overall appeal.
Great place to stop for a rest. Has playground for kids
Clean and tidy facilities. Can be busy with traffic

Attended Fibrefest, lovely building & event was great fun! Going again this year.
The chapel here is very beautiful for Catholic celebrations such as weddings. Exquisite mosaic tiled floor and marble sanctuary. The seating is still original choir seating for nuns and has not been wrecked by ugly intrusive plastic chairs. Pipe organ in the gallery and vaulted roof make for glorious traditional sacred music such as chant & polyphony. A surprisingly enjoyable catholic chapel to visit.
Sisters of mercy have been forgotten here. Their hard work forgotten . If you are visiting this place to experience a legendary Christian story, you will be disappointed.
Love this place. The gardens are exquisite and the building hold so much history. Well worth visiting.
Greatest thing since sliced bread
Great conference and Fibrefest venue
It was to attend a funeral service

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING Everything about coming to Bhutra Spa is beautiful. Upon arrival you are greeted with smiles from everyone. A very warm welcome 🤗 One hour hot oil remedial is my go to and the staff never fail. The hot tea at the end is a lovely finish. Thank you ☺️
I had the absolute best massage here today from Dani. It was amazing and I can’t wait to go back. 10/10 would recommend.
I see Riga every week. She is very professional and knowledgeable. I suffer from overall muscular aches and pains, and Riga’s massage techniques help me greatly. I am more than happy to recommend Bhutra Thai for any type of massage or treatment. The premises are clean and very relaxing, and all the staff are very friendly and professional 🙏
What a beautiful experience, I felt like I’d stepped back into Thailand. A complimentary foot soak before a professional remedial massage. A sweet added touch of tea at the end. Congratulations a well developed professional establishment. Highly recommended
Riga just gave me the best massage I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be back!
First time customer yesterday, was spoiled with a beauty package , sugar scrub, milky bath , sauna and deep tissue massage. Staff were lovely and the atmosphere was very pleasant and clean. Feeling revitalised and refreshed. Best healing massage I’ve had in a long time. Will definitely be back 😊
I was impressed with a very warm welcome staff and their professional therapeutic massage services, the place is very nice and cleaned with a beautiful decoration. So it's strongly recommended to everyone who's looking for a professional Thai Massage Therapist with an enjoyable experience.
Had a deep tissue massage today with Thai massage for about 90 mins. The quality of the massage was more than what I had expected and exceeded my expectations. The venue is clean and the ambiance was soothing and relaxing, with deemed lights and a relaxing music on the background. After the massage, I felt very relaxed and could doze off anytime, as I was so satisfied with the outcome.Definitely will be a returning customer. Hats off to “Marci” for the quality massage the she provided.

Very nice atmosphere, we love it ! This is our first pub meal in our road trip for a month, we arrived late at the free camp site just around the corner. so we came here for a dinner, that was nice! And have a playground for a kid, my girl played with the owner’s girl and she told us about Bulga.
Great value, reasonable priced decent servings. Had one of the best steaks here, came back a few days later and tried the chicken schnitzel, excellent as well. One of those relaxing places with friendly service, where that second bottle of wine is so easily done.
Food was fantastic! We ordered a classic Chicken Schnitzel and it was one of the best I’ve had and great value. The staff were super friendly and it was a very welcoming environment, there were quite a few locals there too who were very nice. Great location too and quite a relaxing outdoor area, highly recommend!
The tavern supplied food and service to the RFS during a difficult fire event. The food packs and dinners were very welcome and hit the spot. A fantastic effort.
We have taken to stopping at the generously sized free camp in Bulga for the night whenever we travel north with the caravan. After an interesting wander around the cemetery behind the church on our last trip, we took a short stroll around to the tavern. It was quickly clear why we see so many travelers call in each time we visit. The staff are friendly and the meals are great..! We'll certainly call in again on our next trip.
Great place to stop for a rest and bite to eat. Started with the cheesy garlic bread and it is everything you want, just the right amount of garlic and perfectly melted cheese! I had the Bulga Burger, absolutely delicious and super filling with a generous serve of chips. Husband had the Chicken Schnitzel with Texas Topper, which was also amazing. Kids enjoyed the fish and chips, and had a great play on the play equipment. Clean amenities and lovely outdoor seating area. Taking the scenic route definitely has its perks!
Our SMC Bike club went there on Sunday for lunch and the service and food were both excellent. We expected to wait as there were quite a few of us but were pleasantly surprised the meals came super quick. Good job
Great staff relaxing atmosphere and awesome food.. feat. A massive locally sourced polished hardwood bar and even a kids playground. Well done guys 2yrs down the track still providing top notch service food and prices

My healing massage with Sarah was a wonderful experience. She identified areas on my body I wasn’t even aware were causing me pain and remedied them. I left feeling refreshed and relaxed. The process to book an appointment was quick and easy and her location in Zilzie is very convenient to access. I highly recommend her services!
I loved my massage with Sarah I found her massages really grounded She was very attentive to my needs She was really kind and helped to shift negative energy stored in my muscles I would highly recommend her and wish I could see her more often!! (I am moving to Sydney so it will be very difficult)
Sarah is the perfect yoga teacher - she is so in tune with each individual’s needs in the class and will happily tailor poses and practice to injuries/body shape. Her classes are wonderful!! Her massages are also divine - she has several years of practice & learning and it shows very much during her sessions. Sarah inspired me to travel & maintain yoga practice in my own time. I am always so happy & relaxed after one of her classes! I would thoroughly recommend her studio to anyone :)
Great energy and very good vibes. Sarah is professional and friendly and extremely adept at her craft, Sarah found sore spots I never knew I had !. 10/10 thank you.
Sarah’s been a great mentor for me she has guided me through many amazing yoga and meditation classes over the years. The massages are magical and she has healing hands. If you feel like you need to connect with yourself on a spiritual level and need rest and relaxation then don’t hesitate to give Sahasra’s Hope a visit.
Sarah’s yoga classes are wonderful, they are small & she tailors them to suit the different needs of her participants, working with any problems they might have. Also her massage is divine, whether it’s helping heel your ache’s & pain or purely for relaxation.
sarah has established a very good yoga and massage business, as she tailors her classes and massages to suit the group or individual needs I thoroughly recommend a visit to her so she can discuss your individual needs
Best place for yoga! Sarah is very knowledgeable and experienced yoga teacher. Would strongly recommend both classes and massage.
