Was camped there a couple times over the past month. Week days and weekends. Site nice and big, clean and tidy. Amenities are great. Hot showers, Camp kitchen clean. Great care takers, Tim and Meagan. Kept us informed of all weather events, both storms and nearby fires. Will definetely be back.
I was blown away by Lake Broadwater. It has the most stunning sunsets & sunrises. Toilet facilities with free hot showers. Caretakers are so welcoming & keep the facilities immaculate & clean. It's peaceful & full of pristine nature. Has playgrounds for the kids, Outdoor kitchen area, Bird sanctuary to check out & overall. I cant wait to bring my kids to my next visit. Very affordable powered and unpowered sites. Easily has become top of my list for camping getaways. Thank you guys for this amazing place you have!
Another nice stop on our travels, About 20 minutes out of Dalby, Lake Broadwater, some powered sights (first in best dressed) amenities clean, good hot showers, can camp either end of area, camp kitchen, fire places, $7.25 per person a night caretakers come around late afternoon to collect, and can buy firewood then. $10 a bag, nice place to relax, with cheeky birds to entertain you 😊 Also good play area for kids, would be awesome in the warm weather
A beautiful spot to camp or day trip right on the lake and wake up to views like this. Facilities are excellent clean modern and easy access. Plenty of shaded sites fire pits some powered sites lots of unpowered , BBQ’s camp kitchens with power, kids play grounds even a function hall you can rent right on the waters edge. It’s a national park so no pets but the sunrises are exceptional. Friendly rangers come around to welcome you and collect the fees $29.00 for two people for two nights powered or unpowered. We shall be back.
Amazing On-Site Management. Clean, hot showers, plenty of room for everyone. Great for kids, fires in pits. Thank you to the Shire for outstanding facilities, the park has street lighting for safety.
A very nice, clean and quiet camping ground. Dont book on line, just rock up and use the envelopes provided to put your payment in. Powered and non powered sites, on a first come first served basis, there are no bookings. You can also pay in the evening when the staff come around (they also offer firewood). The sites are all on hard standing gravel. No dogs allowed! Very clean showers and toilets. All in all a very nice place to stay and only $7.25 per person
What an absolutely ripper place to stay. Lovely site near water only $14:50 per night. Good showers and toilet available.
Amazing place to camp! Just had my first visit and will be back for sure! Stunning lake, wonderful wildlife, and the facilities are amazing. Plenty of space to setup, never felt crowded at all and the caretakers were fantastic. Highly recommend!

A treasure trove for those looking for some beautifully crafted pieces. They are gorgeous silky oak dressers, through to six pence and cutlery sets of a bygone era.
A quaint antiques store with a pretty small range. Alot of items are far too over priced, the owner seems to largely make things up on the spot as alot of items are unmarked. Friendly as always, easy parking.
Ross always has some special little treasures to tickle the fancy. We'll worth a browse.
great range of items. good junk shed out back to look through. I personally found prices on the high side given the changing market for antiques but we'll worth a look and I think I found an item suitable to finish a project so well worth a visit
Love a good antique shop and this one is absolutely one of the best. Great local knowledge, great price, and Ross is always keen for a laugh. Still waiting on my free jar of beeswax for guessing the rope twister, but you cant win em all.
Love the store, but couldn't find what I was after. But plenty here for the antique hunters. A few gems and some good prices too. You must stop in for a look see!
Nice place. Furniture has been taken back to bare timber and varnished, sorry not for me. Antique furniture should be how you found it with all its lumps and bumps and necessary repairs only.
Had plenty of old stuff. If looking for 70s,80s or 90s though you won't find it. People havnt really discovered the value in 80s vintage yet. Still worth a look in anyway, as you never know.

The temporary membership policy is great for visitors too. Well worth a visit.

Absolutely wonderful place to visit, $10 per Adult (EFTPOS available) takes a good hour to get around, some amazing memorabilia perfect for young and old. Was greeted by a lovely lady who provided excellent guidance to get around. Highly recommended if you in the area, will return and bring family and friends to explore in the near future.
What an amazing little tucked away place. What a welcoming greeting and hug my wife and I received by the elderly lady who is one of the volunteers there. Our little Doggy was welcome to walk around with us. So much local history along with some rather impressive memorabilia. Most of the Displays and rooms felt very normal till we got to one of the cottages with a static display depicting a Bedroom from a bygone era. My little Dog looked up strangely then went close to one of the night pots on the floor by the bed has a sniff the immediately backed off as though it was told off. Turning to my wife I noticed she went a little pale in the face. For sure there was some one other then just the 3 of us in that room. Mindful of the unknown we were very respectful of our presence as guest in another person's house and backed away then carried on enjoying the other displays on offer. To all you volunteers a Big Thank you. You all do an amazing job.
Absolutely amazing exhibits. And the sweetest most lovely volunteers you'll ever meet. Passionate and knowledgeable, I've never met anyone like Elaine who makes you feel so welcome immediately!
Loved this place. Lots to see and discover. All the building were packed with history (and some memories). Dog friendly too, Our pooch even came into all the buildings and displays with us
Great place to experience our past. Alot of buildings full of history. Only $10 a person. Very helpful volunteers who do a great job.
Great experience here amazing things you see from antique cars to machineries and lots more it's was a great day beautiful atmosphere and there's clean toilets. There were lots to eat if your hungry come next time and have a look the museum was great..
Highly recommendation to go for look at this museum. There is so much history. The lovely lady Elaine who welcomes you with a hug, our little dog was allowed to enter as well. The price of $10 per person and you can go back in a couple of days if you didn’t see it all of the displays. The museum is run by volunteers and they all do a wonderful job. Thank You for keeping our history alive. P.S the passion fruit and lemon spread was absolutely delicious, ended coming back to buy another 2 bottles
Fantastic. The caretaker was great.
