I love this park. Have so many good memories here. Always nice to visit.
It's a nice calm setting with lovely flowers and trees. I observed folks strolling down the riverbanks with their dogs, and there's a playground for kids. It's actually a pretty pleasant location to go and unwind. There is restrooms too.
It's a very nice park during all 4 seasons of the year. Plenty of space for all families to relax or play, and for all kinds of activities. Apparently there are about a hundred different kinds of birds that can be seen in a year. Turtles and even snakes can be seen at times.
nice, clean, but popular so parking fills on weekends
If u want to play football then this is a must go!
Very beautiful and fantastic place in Soka. Suitable for walking, chatting, playing and photography during the Autumn.Free entrance. parking area also available.
Great place. Lots of tennis courts and space for other activities.
It's a clean and beautiful park for leisure and an open-air party.

Once upon a time, worshipers who got off the Edogawa ferry, probably on the side of the current Nodabashi Bridge, headed for Katori Shrine in Kamihanawa District. Tofukuji Temple is protected by residents on the way to the shrine. There is Dosojin, who is also a guidepost. The principal image is Fudo-sama. Although the road is winding, I turn my feet in the direction indicated by Dosojin. That's the kind of situation that comes to mind around here. When you visit Tofuku-ji Temple, I would like you to follow the ancient paths in the area and go to Katori Shrine. We hope you will get lost and get a glimpse of the leisurely lives of the residents. I feel like I can see a soft faith and a real life that matches it. My favorite is the Ahobara Jizoson statue, which is a carved Buddha statue located within the temple grounds. It is also commonly called Togenuki Jizo. It is said that he removes the thorns of worldly desires that are stuck in the roots of sentient beings. I am truly grateful for this, as I have a heart full of thorns. It is engraved with a soft touch that is reminiscent of the Tsukuda Tendai Jizo statue in Tsukishima, Tokyo. Although the precincts are small, there are Aomen-sama, a memorial tower, and a pagoda on the 19th night. Is this a Zen temple for a moment? It's so neat and tidy that you'd think so. You can feel the love of the temple people from the temple family. If possible I would like to say that it is my own temple. However, compared to the museums of other municipalities in Saitama Prefecture, it is a bit cluttered and the explanations of the materials are weak, making it difficult to say that you can learn much about history. I think we should clarify the concept a little more and collect materials accordingly. It is said that Kimuraya's anpan became a purveyor to the imperial court through the mediation of Yamaoka Tesshu, who was the tutor of Emperor Meiji and is known for being the inventor of anpan and the first to commercially sell it. The letters on the signboards displayed at the Ginza main store and other locations are apparently replicas commissioned by Tesshu Yamaoka shortly after the company's founding. At the end of the Tozenji cemetery, there is a magnificent grave of the Kimura family for generations, and it seems that the award ceremony for long-time employees of Kimuraya Sohonten will be held here at Tozenji. The predecessor of the Kimura family was ``Bun'eido,'' which was named after the letters of his wife, Fumi, and his son, Eizaburo. Also, it seems that the money to open the shop came from his wife, Fumi-san,'s savings. In addition, the Kimura family's anpan became famous when it was served as a tea snack to Emperor Meiji when he went to view the cherry blossoms along the Sumida River, through the mediation of Tesshu Yamaoka. In fact, it seems that Tesshu Yamaoka was a friend of Madam Bun's younger brother, and that Madam Bun also helped him in this area. As for trivia, there is a story that the Kimura family's signboard was drawn by Tesshu Yamaoka, and it seems that his wife Bun was the reason for this. Actually, it was still clearly visible when I took the photo 10 years ago, but hmmm, I can't see it 😅 If I find it, I'll upload it, but the reference point for the water mark is Reigon Island (Shinkawa, Koto Ward, Tokyo) The standard is 0m. As I was walking along the street in front of the station, I saw an old shrine. I thought about stopping by on my way home. I didn't have the confidence to follow the same path, so I paid a visit. It seems to be the guardian of this area, and although it can be seen that it was a shrine that required a large precinct, it still feels lonely compared to Soka Shrine, which I visited later. The main shrine and Kagura hall have an old-fashioned feel to them, and Fujizuka has been beautifully maintained. I was able to get my goshuin stamp written in a tent next to the temple grounds. Enter from the station side entrance and pray, then go around the whole way.The stairs at the back are a little high, so if you are elderly or not confident in your feet, please be careful. There is an open space in the back like a large park, and you can see Chikaraishi. If you go further in, you will also see Mt. Fuji, but it is no longer possible to climb it. Mt. Fuji is truly ``infinite praise'' and you can see it anytime. I hope I can stay healthy enough to climb the mountain someday. There are other Inari shrines and other things, and even if you walk around the park, there are many stone benches in the open part of the park where you can take a break. When I stepped outside, there were a lot of cars on the main road on the north and west sides, but I was able to spend some quiet time there.

Peaceful Buddhist temple with beautiful pagoda.
(Translated by Google) Founding year unknown. The principal image is the Eleven-faced Kannon. The year of its founding is unknown because records were lost due to a fire in the past, but the principal image, the 11-faced Kannon, was made in the late Heian period, and it is said that the temple was built around that time. In any case, it is a temple with a very splendid temple, so I believe it has wielded strong power since ancient times. In 1591, Tokugawa Ieyasu, who became the feudal lord of the Kanto region, issued a red seal to this temple, giving it 20 koku of temple territory. Today, this temple still houses the red stamps issued by successive shoguns up to the 14th shogun, Iemochi. In 1942, the Japanese military stationed in Nanjing discovered the remains of Master Sanzang and handed them over to the Wang Zhaoming government (Nanjing government = Japanese puppet government) that was in Nanjing at the time. The Wang Zhaoming government offered to erect a relic tower and donate some of the relics to Japan. At that time, the temple's chief priest at the time, Hidemine Wagami Kuramochi, as a representative of the Japan Buddhist Federation, brought Sanzo's spiritual bones to Japan. Even now, the relics of Sanzo Hoshi are kept in the reliquary of this temple. There are many cultural properties designated by Warabi City, such as the wooden eleven-faced Kannon Bodhisattva statue, the red seals of successive Tokugawa shoguns, the child-rearing Jizo, the Rokujizo stone Buddha, and the Mewari Jizo.

I've taken a quick tour of the rice cracker factory, visited the hand-baking experience corner, and visited the rice cracker shop, but I've yet to go inside this museum without paying the 500 yen entrance fee. Everyone you meet here will be kind to visitors. I was curious about the huge lantern standing next to it and wanted to take a photo of it, so I got the permission of the shop staff and took a photo. Next time, we will also take a look inside the museum, where there are old folk tools, materials about ancient rice cracker making, and works by Shiko Munakata.
