The Wild Dolphin Feeding experience at Tangalooma Resort was absolutely unforgettable! It’s a quick experience overall, but totally worth it. Lines start forming 30–45 minutes in advance—we lined up closer to the end, which worked well since we had time to take photos and videos from the viewing deck beforehand. The actual feeding lasts about a minute, but it was such a special moment. We were lucky enough to feed a mother dolphin and her calf! The entire experience felt very safe and well-organized, with great care taken to respect the dolphins’ natural behaviors and lifestyle. A must-do at the resort, especially for dolphin lovers and anyone looking for a magical wildlife encounter!
In Lovina, Bali to see dolphins we have to go to the middle of the sea and use a motorboat. But here, we are quiet and the dolphins will come. And we can feed them too. Amazing. The time is between 5.45 - 6.30
Beautiful Island to unwind! Staffs are friendly and helpful. I have a feedback on Senior Concession Discount. Subject: Feedback on Senior Concession Discounts To The Manager of Tangalooma Resort, I hope this message finds you well. I recently had the opportunity to visit Tangalooma, and while I truly enjoyed the experience, I would like to share a suggestion that I believe could make your services even more inclusive and appreciated by the community. I noticed that there is no available discount for all seniors, even those holding valid concession cards. As seniors have contributed so much to our society, it would be a great gesture of respect and support to offer them the same privileges other places provide, such as concession discounts. Many seniors are on fixed incomes, and a small discount can make a big difference for them. Providing this benefit would not only show care and consideration, but it could also encourage more seniors to visit and enjoy everything Tangalooma has to offer. Thank you for considering this feedback. I truly hope it helps in making your beautiful resort even more welcoming for everyone. Kind regards, Flordeliza Shone
Definitely don’t join the wild dolphin feeding—it’s not worth it and heavily oversold. You might end up with 2-3 people sharing one fish to feed a dolphin, meaning some people just pay to watch a dolphin for 5 seconds. Instead, you can observe from the pier for free without getting wet. They don't allow flash light on the beach but their photographers are using them, what a joke.
Great experience feeding the dolphins 🐬. There were quite a few. There were many people in the lines but seemed to flow nicely. If you don't want to participate in feeding the dolphins or have young ones that are nervous you can watch from closeby along the wharf. Very cool 😎
They did things rather differently this time. Not a fan of having to pay for this in order to stay for a later ferry time, but glad for the way the staff managed the situation to account for the changes in the wild dolphins. Only 4 showed up and they still accounted for the wellbeing of not overfeeding the dolphins and risking negative feelings from tourists who've paid for this. Well done guys!
Amazing place to visit but unfortunately don’t have time to stay and feed the dolphins :(
A-may-sing wild dolphins feeding experience at a very safe and secured spot on the sea shores. Close to ferry drop off. Complimentary with King deluxe room. We enjoyed their service and great staff. Clicked amazing pictures 📸 $35 for printout or $70 with digital/printout. A little extra on hands. But their level of effort is what we pay for. Great team work. Dedicated staff, very bold and courageous. Definitely, a lifetime experience feeding wild 🐬 dolphins.

Had a great time on the ATV Quad Bike Tour! It was a super fun experience with a friendly guide leading the way. It’s a guided tour, so you follow the guide at their pace, but my partner and I stayed at the back, which gave us a bit of flexibility to slow down and speed up, adding to the fun. There’s no free-roaming time, but the ride itself was really enjoyable, kind of like riding a more powerful electric scooter, just off-road. One rider did tip over on a slope, so definitely go at a decent speed through the inclines to stay balanced. Overall, an awesome and memorable experience! Probably something I’d only do once, but still very glad I did it.
We had an awesome time with a group with ages ranging from 10 to 78, and our guide Sharna tailored the tour perfectly to suit every skill and ability! Highly recommend going late in the day so you can catch the sunset!
Left completely disappointed with the experience. What was supposed to be a fun family outing was ruined by rushed staff and kids quad bikes that are sub standard. Without hesitation it was decided that my 13 year old son could not participate (when he had not been given adequate instruction or a sufficiently working quad bike) and the convoy promptly left. He was given the option of riding on the back of a tandem but no boy wants to ride on the back of a quad when they can drive them selves. He was devastated as this was the highlight of the trip for him. My eldest son also had issues with his bike stalling. What a waste... Not only the cost of the ferry out to the island and accommodation... But also the cost of the remaining 3 rides to have a disappointing end to our holiday. No adequate option to remedy nor any genuine consideration from staff or management to address the situation. My kids also later advised that another child from a bigger group was moved from that particular bike as they were having issues with riding it and it was given to my youngest son. The rushed situation was also caused because other participants were late... All of this is now expected to be my problem. I have not had this level of disappointment in a service in Australia for a very long time. If customer service was put ahead of profits, we would be given the option to redo the trip as a family as that is what was originally paid for and is the only suitable remedy to the situation.
Staff were friendly and helpful but the whole experience was far from thrilling. You are made to follow a track at a very slow pace and you're bumper to bumper with the ATVs in front and back. You'd have more fun driving the M1 at rush-hour. Caters for people looking for a chill ride with no sense of adventure.
Unfortunately this was an outcome that could have been prevented if it weren't for terrible customer support through this company . I had a very disappointing experience Due to unforeseen circumstances, we needed to get a refund or at least get a credit, but the company was completely inflexible. They offered no options, no understanding, and barely any communication. It felt like dealing with a wall — no willingness to help or even listen. I won’t be booking through them again and wouldn’t recommend it if you value customer service or flexibility. They do not respond!! I should have read the reviews prior to purchasing as i was excited about the quads and clearly that is one of the things that was least enjoyable stated by other reviews . DO BETTER !
A unbelievable experience both on your own or doubling amazing first time afternoon run in 2023 saw whales in the bay playing this time taking my sister on the back and amazing the track was even better the second time
Hands down, the most thrillingly boring experience on the island. We had more action sitting in the hot tub trying not to overheat. The quad bikes barely crawled past 10 km/h. I’ve seen mobility scooters with more spirit. I nearly nodded off mid-ride. Honestly, the best part was taking the helmet off at the end and feeling the sweet freedom of movement again. Didn’t know it was possible to make quad biking boring, but these folks have turned it into an art form. Save your cash and your sanity.
We experienced a tandem ATV tour whilst on Moreton Island. Everything was explained well and they are very diligent in the safety of all those that are having the experience. In saying that, the only real terrain that is experienced is sand. Due to having this experience as part of a shore excursion from our cruise there were so many people experiencing the same so it did feel a little rushed in order to get so many customers through and therefore it was not as great as other ATV experiences we have had. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Tangalooma Island Resort was absolutely amaaaazing! Snorkeling around the shipwrecks was the highlight — The Wrecks are stunning up close. The helicopter ride gave breathtaking views from above! The sunset here was incredibly beautiful, and the dolphin feeding experience was such a unique and memorable moment for me. The facilities were excellent and made my whole trip comfortable and enjoyable. Truly a special and unforgettable time on the island. Highly recommended! 🌊🌅🐬🚁✨
Overall, the resort facilities are average. The squash area could be improved, particularly in terms of cleanliness, and more road signs would help with directions. Unfortunately, I was woken up every morning around 7:30 by the loud noise of the luggage carts being collected, which even startled my baby. On the positive side, the beach is beautiful and the rangers are very professional. My kids especially enjoyed the bird-feeding sessions, and the rangers explained everything in a very informative and engaging way.
We did a day trip to Tangalooma Island Resort from Brisbane and had a fantastic experience. Everything ran smoothly and the Tangalooma team organised things very well, catering to numerous guests with different itineraries. The location is stunning and the experiences on offer are great for outdoor lovers. We did the marine discovery cruise and dolphin feeding - both were great and dolphin feeding was one of the most unique experiences! The only things that could be improved are the food offerings and upkeep of facilities such as in the day lounge. However, everything else makes up for it!
Negatives: Staff Service & Cruise ship crowds Positives: Location and wildlife Stayed for three nights. Beach villa was amazing but did pay a hefty price. Great room, view and location. Resort service is quite poor. Most of the employees are young foreigners with limited English and poor customer service skills. The bar staff at b&b are quite unpleasant and rude. The receptionist was quite new and had poor instructions. A cruise ship came on one day and the island was inundated with 1000 tourists from Sydney. Whilst I understand the cruise ships are required to keep the place afloat, guests are staying at the island to get away from crowds and long lines, it ruined the day for our family unable to get food or coffee. Another night a private function took all staff and the only two decent eating restaurants were closed due to staff needed at the function. Once again as a guest you dont pay expensive rooms for no nice places to eat. Besides these negatives, the kids loved the stay and the dolphin feeding, glass bottom boat feeding also.
My husband surprised me with a last-minute two-night mini honeymoon, and it was perfect! The team went above and beyond — leaving wine, chocolates, and a sweet note, and even upgrading us to an ocean view. The staff were so kind, and we loved their focus on wildlife and marine life safety. Feeding wild dolphins, exploring shipwrecks, and the sunset cruise were unforgettable experiences. They even offer sunset photoshoots every evening! The water was the clearest I’ve ever seen — we can’t wait to go back!
All round wonderful experience. Lovely staff, outstanding accommodation, and a wide range of fun filled activities to fill every day. Only minor issue was none of the plates in the villa we stayed in were microwave safe, which lead to difficult work arounds. Loved the variety of board games in the villas too. Would absolutely go again!
Went on a day visit to snorkel around the ship wrecks. What a lovely experience (even though the day remained cloudy). Enthusiastic guides and all equipment needed provided. Also had a lunch voucher in the package with a good choice of places to use them. Definitely worth a visit. Would suggest booking any other activities you may want to do before you arrive in order to maximise the time you have on theh island.
We expected to pay abit more for things, being a island, BUT this place is just outright price gouging on everything . $60 for a 6 pack of beer, $42 for a 4 pack of cruisers, $84 for a 4 pack of rum!!!! Just bring your own! No entertainment or anything on, on a Saturday night or the Sunday night we stayed. Really feel like this place has lost the Australian feel and it’s all about making money. Other guests we spoke to from other countries were completely shocked by the prices and what you get for them. The best way to enjoy this island would be to camp.

Absolutely awesome experience, pilot was very good, very informative. The views are amazing and you see a lot of wildlife on the longer flights.
Awesome staff and great service for a fair price. We had a bit of rain, but who cares. Seeing the Tangalooma Wrecks from above and getting a feeling for the size of the island was awesome. Pilot gave some great information. Definitely recommendable!
Best Experience of my life. Len was our pilot and he was awesome, friendly and a great pilot, as well as the staff there were really nice. We saw turtles and dugongs, overall the best 12 minutes of my life. If i could i would do ten stars.
What an experience ! I took my 5 year old as it was his birthday wish. The staff were so amazing and helpful. Our helicopter pilot was so knowledgeable about the island and definitely made it a memorable experience for my little man.
Thank you Tangalooma Heli Tours for the incredible experience it's definitely worth it. The Staff is friendly, helpful, professional. Thank you Steph-the pilot and her work-colleague for this amazing experience. We did helicopter rides 27/6/21. Helicopter-rides is the best opportunity to see the beautiful and breathtaking views of the island from above. warm regards, Hanna and Simon #5-star rating #highly recommended # helicopter rides is one of the best experience you should not miss out.
Highly recommend this. Family had a scenic flight over the island on a day trip cruising with Carnival cruise ship. The guys that run this are so professional and friendly to deal with. The pilot himself was an extremely knowledgeable and friendly operator made us so welcomed. Thank you guys so much.
Went to tangalooma and did snorkeling, we didn't expect to go on the heli rides but they gave us a discount. Their team is great, and the ride although it was only 6 mins long, was an incredible experience on top of an already awesome day. The steep price seems to turn people away but it's definitely worth it and I would be happy to pay full price to do it again. Definitely recommend if your planning to visit tangalooma.
Stunning views which were breathtaking. Our pilot was amazing and took his time explaining everything we could see and the history.
