Stopped off here on our return from travelling the Great Ocean Road as we had seen it initially on our way down. We visited on a Saturday lunchtime and it was great to see a place so busy, and so family orientated as well with groups of children being welcome (and not being a nuisance!) and included. The staff were welcoming, courteous and informative and we thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing time with a glass of wine, watching the world go by. Great vibes for any sort of event too. Definitely worth stopping off at.
Really nice winery surrounded by lawns and plants, and sheltered by some big trees. There’s a bit of a beer garden vibe out front with picnic tables, and some indoor and marquee seats inside too. Lots of different wines with a personal favorite being the Chardonnay. Food looks good too - mainly pizza and shared bites.
Very nice indoor/outdoor dining area. Picnic tables under the trees was very pleasant in the sun. Pizza was made quickly and pretty good, if expensive and could have used an extra minute in the oven. Large wine selection and plenty options. Tasting platter was good but could have been a little more generous on the fillings and meat for the price. 4.5 stars if I could
This was our first visit to Bellbrae Estate, and we will certainly return soon. The day was warm, the place looked full, just like the car park. Food was delivered hot, tasty and quickly. We enjoyed 4 different pizza's as we had 2 vegetarians with us and everybody was well satisfied.
This afternoon we brought friends from Melbourne and our collective kids to Bellbrae Estate so they could experience one of our local wineries. In addition to pizzas and drinks for the kids, we ordered a platter and wine combo for $70. What we received was a smattering of produce on a very large platter and a bottle of rosé. The contents of the platter amounted to three crackers each and a couple of bits of cheese and deli meat. When I mentioned how light on the platter was to staff they fully backed how little was on there, stating that it was perfect value for money. The manager argued that the bottle of wine was $45 but on their online store it retails for $29. I’m all about supporting local, but this was a real disappointment having brought friends from Melbourne to the estate. Won’t be returning anytime soon.
Great place great vibe The wine sommelier was so friendly and knowledgeable Went for a tasting with my husband and kids Kids loved the pizza too. The only “negative” would be that there was no ice cream on the brownie 😢
I came here with my best friend for lunch. The Pinot Gris was perfect. We enjoyed the pizzas. Great beautiful friendly place.
What a good way to have break during Christmas season. I loved the pepperoni pizza, it is the best in the menu. The least is Prosciutto, is a bit salty. The service is lovely and you can smell the smoke coming out from the wood fired pizza. If you like driving and looking at the nature, this will be a good experience for the family.

We LOVED our time at Spring Creek Horse Rides! ✨🫶 we took our family of 10 for an experience and my gosh, it’s definitely created some memories we will cherish. From the youngest which was 10 to us oldies, the team looked after all of our different needs and paired us with the horses that suited our personality. A couple of the kids were a little nervous before, but within no time they were loving it and trotting too! After our ride, the kids couldn’t stop talking about how much they loved it and they’re not scared of horses anymore 🫶 The track was gorgeous, and it was perfect that the team mixed it up with trotting and walking. Super grateful for our experience and I can confidently say it won’t be our last time ✨ Thank you team 🙏
Both my daughters (9&8) experienced their first Horse rides here.Well organised, safe and a beautiful location. Really responsive to original queries prior to booking,as both girls had no previous experience. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
Even the rain couldn’t dampen our spirits on this wonderful trail ride. Having a wine & watching the sunset was beautiful. I am a complete beginner & the staff were very friendly, informative & caring. The horses looked after us & were lovely to ride. The trail ride took us past some beautiful bush, we saw lots of wildlife: echidna, kangaroos, kookaburras, cockatoos & other birds. Very lucky - it’s a l great experience for people of all skill levels, I highly recommend.
Our family of 4 had a fantastic time doing the 2 hour trail ride for my daughter's 13th birthday. We were all beginners, and even my son (15) said it was the highlight of our holiday. The staff are lovely and the horses well-behaved. I enjoyed the scenery, particularly the second half of the ride. You learn to trot quite early in the ride, and then we trotted about 6 times throughout the ride, for a few minutes at a time. This wasn't a cheap experience for a family of 4, but I'm so glad we did it, as the memories we created are priceless. Thank you Spring Creek Horse Rides for a wonderful experience.
A sunny morning spent with beautiful horses on a property with a camp fire and stunning views. High recommend the pony ride, my daughter absolutely loved it. Can’t wait to come back
Beeeeautiful place with such lovely people and wonderful horses! 1h trail ride was sooo much fun and Ranger was quite a character! My partner was on Mick and they got along really well too. I appreciate the staff for making sure each horse is suited for the riders needs and experiences, as well as explaining all that’s necessary to know. You can tell the staff cares so much about these animals as they all look happy and content, which I’m very grateful for. Thank you for having us!
🌟 A fantastic experience at Spring Creek Horse Rides! I had such a wonderful time riding with my daughter and a close friend. The instructors were incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful, making sure everyone felt comfortable and confident. The horses were beautifully behaved and clearly well cared for, which made the whole ride smooth and enjoyable. The scenery was stunning, and the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. I’d highly recommend Spring Creek Horse Rides to anyone looking for a memorable, family-friendly adventure. We’ll definitely be back!
Have been on several trail rides in my life and this was by far one of the best. Horses were healthy, happy and well-trained, staff friendly, taking time to teach wherever possible and completely engaged with their job and happy ☺️
