This is by far one of the best places I’ve stayed at. Our family loved the entire campus including the high cleanliness and scenic views. It has in its premises 1200 years old Jain temples which are worth visiting once. Best views from room for which professional hotels would charge premium prices. Less crowded so calm and comfortable. Staff is extremely helpful and professional. Entire campus has CCTVs installed for safety.
"Kumbhariya Jain Temple is a peaceful and spacious place surrounded by greenery. The temple architecture is beautiful, but inside it feels quite dark with less lighting, which gives a sacred and slightly mysterious experience. Overall, a serene and spiritual place to visit."
ONE WORD - Architecture Marvel. So peaceful and all around positive energy.
A Divine Experience at Kumbhariyaji Jain Tirth Kumbhariyaji Jain Tirth is a remarkable pilgrimage destination that blends spiritual serenity with historical significance. Located in a tranquil area, the temple is dedicated to Lord Parshvanath, the 23rd Tirthankara, and stands as a testament to the rich cultural and religious heritage of the Jain community. The history of Kumbhariyaji dates back several centuries, and the temple has long been a significant site for devotees. The idol of Lord Parshvanath is beautifully sculpted, and the temple itself boasts stunning Jain architecture with intricate carvings, ornate pillars, and exquisite detailing that reflects the magnificence of ancient Jain temples. The serene atmosphere of the temple grounds is ideal for meditation and prayer. Many devotees come here to seek blessings, perform rituals, and experience spiritual tranquility. What sets Kumbhariyaji Jain Tirth apart is not just its religious importance but also the incredible peacefulness of the surrounding natural beauty, making it a perfect place to disconnect from the outside world and focus inward. The locals and temple caretakers are incredibly helpful and warm, offering visitors a sense of belonging and community. The temple is well-maintained, and the overall experience, whether for spiritual growth or historical exploration, is immensely enriching. For anyone in search of peace, culture, and deep spiritual connection, a visit to Kumbhariyaji Jain Tirth is highly recommended!
Kumbhariya Jain Temple is one of the hidden gems of Gujarat — a place where spirituality, history, and architecture come together beautifully. Located about 2–3 km from Ambaji Temple, this ancient Jain pilgrimage site is peaceful, divine, and artistically breathtaking. The temple complex consists of five beautifully carved temples, each dedicated to a different Jain Tirthankara. The main temple is devoted to Lord Neminath (the 22nd Tirthankara). These temples are believed to be around 900–1000 years old, built during the Solanki era, and they still retain their original charm and intricate craftsmanship. The stone carvings inside and outside each temple are simply mesmerizing. Every wall, dome, and pillar is decorated with detailed sculptures of gods, goddesses, dancers, and floral designs that show the excellence of ancient artisans. The architecture resembles that of the famous Dilwara Temples of Mount Abu, but Kumbhariya has its own unique grace and tranquility. The temple complex is very well maintained — clean pathways, peaceful surroundings, and a pure spiritual atmosphere. It’s less crowded compared to Ambaji, which makes it an ideal place for devotees who want to meditate or spend some quiet time in prayer. The cool breeze and natural beauty around the area add to the divine feeling. There is a dharamshala (guesthouse) nearby for pilgrims and basic facilities like drinking water, restrooms, and shoe stands. Photography is usually allowed in the outer areas but restricted inside the sanctum, so it’s best to check before clicking pictures. Overall, Kumbhariya Jain Temple is not just a religious destination but also an architectural marvel that reflects the glorious heritage of ancient Gujarat. Whether you are spiritual, artistic, or just love peaceful places, this temple is absolutely worth visiting.
Nice Jain temple with lush green campus. Five temples with 1200 years old Murtis and beautiful carving. Must visit place. WOW
2.5 km from AMBAJI temple. Very peaceful place. New Dharamshala is too gd. Bhojansala is also there. Total 5 Dehraser. Thousands of year old Dehraser.
A place where you can live the history. The temples are magnificent. I visited this during evening time. The calmness, serenity and the dark yet so glorious idol of Lord Neminath magically transposed me to the era of 1100 -1200, the time when this temples were actually built.

It is very beautiful place. This is mahadev temple. I suggest to go at evening and attend 7.00 pm AARTI. Place is on mountain so you love to see scenic view. And in evening you see whole ambaji. Also there is garden near this but i dont know how to reach there. But ultimately very beautiful place. And praking sapce is very small. So i suggest to park near stair. Because at top only 3 cars can park but near stair parking space is big. Thats is why.

Great place for staycation. Delicious food. Staff is very cordial. The Heritage resort is located within Forest area and contains a large variety of botanical species. Many types of trees you can see within resort premises.
"Balaram Palace Resort is a royal retreat! The resort's stunning architecture, lush greenery, and serene surroundings offer a perfect blend of luxury and tranquility. The spacious rooms, delicious food, and excellent service make for a memorable stay. A great destination for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Needs hygiene cleanines in rooms (Windows/ balcony)and in restaurant service should also be given importance to small family , not only to BIG groups , residents should have preferred service in restaurant
My recent getaway to Balaram Palace Resort was a serene and rejuvenating retreat, especially as a vegetarian. Nestled amidst 13 acres of lush Aravalli hills, terraced uplands, and meticulously manicured gardens next to the Balaram River, the resort offered ever-present natural beauty and tranquility. All meals were a vegetarian’s delight. The on-site multi-cuisine restaurant serves purely vegetarian Indian, Gujarati, Punjabi, Chinese—and even special Jain dishes—with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors . Guests frequently praise the “tasty” food, with large portions and exceptional quality . I found each dish—whether a vibrant Gujarati thali, spicy paneer curry, or crisp Chinese starters—elegantly prepared and satisfying. The swimming pool was another highlight. Surrounded by greenery and serene lawns, it provided a refreshing haven under the sun. Guests described it as well-maintained and a perfect place to unwind . I loved floating in the calm water, snacking by the poolside, and relishing the peaceful ambiance. Beyond food and pool, the resort’s heritage architecture and peaceful corners added to the charm. Friendly staff and birdsong mornings made it feel like a retreat from city life. Balaram Palace Resort balanced delicious vegetarian cuisine, a relaxing poolside, and a beautifully calm environment—making my stay unforgettable.
Poor service in restaurant, you need to find waiters to order food. At least when you charging customers premium, please offer premium service. I don’t recommend for restaurant.

We actually visited this place twice: first to collect BIB & second to participate in a marathon. The conference hall, the garden and the overall exterior look amazing, and it has some great vibes too. Apart from having lifts 🛗, they also have golf carts to help disabled and senior citizens to reach the hotel premises from the entrance (even we got the ride), which makes it more accessible ♿ and friendly.
This rating is solely based on coffee experience. We didn't stay there. The garden is well maintained. There is a cover charge of ₹300 per person if you are just visiting. You can redeem the full value at the restaurant inside. They have a smaller coffee place and a restaurant. We went for coffee. The design and layout was weird and it had musty smell. The server was attentive and good. The cutlets were good but cold coffee was a disaster.

Pallaviya Parshwanath MUST FOLLOW INDIAN TRADITIONAL DRESS WHILE VISITING TEMPLE. WESTERN CLOTHES ARE NOT ALLOWED. Mulnayak: Nearly 45 cms. high, white – coloured dol of Bhagwan Pallaviya Parshvanath in the Padmasana posture. It is in the centre of the city of Palanpur in Gujarat and is popularly known as Motu Derasar. It is one of the main temples of Palanpur. It is located in main city. Roads are narrow, be careful during driving. No parking space. If you are Jain and nearby then must visit the temple. The railway station and the bus station are at a distance of one, two kilometers from the temple. Auto and taxis are available for travel to the temple. There are Dharmashala and bhojanashalas in the town., In Shvetambara tradition, there are 108 prominent idols of Parshvanath idols these idols derive their name from a geographical region, such as Shankheshwar Parshvanath and Panchasara Parshvanath. Parshvanatha is usually depicted in a lotus or kayotsarga posture.
Wonderful experience, well maintained, poojari are so good cooperative. Carving of old statues and new temple structure is wonderful. First time seen a 24 tirthankar Mata carving on a single marble. Various devi statues like Ambika devi, Padmavati devi, Saraswati, Lakshmi et, and statues of all suri maharaja are wonder of this temple.
Visited Aug 2022. On my recent trip to Palanpur I visited both the 'motu' and 'nanu' Jain derasars. Both were very nice, have the calm serene vibe typical of Jain mandirs. But somehow I preferred the 'nanu' derasar. It has a certain charm that this, the larger one, will never have. See attached pics. Diff to photograph the exterior due to lack of space.
Jain derasar is redeveloped on old Jain derasar. This development is very strong and modern civil work. In this derasar so many workers works 3 years and crafted on marbles for designed in old architecture pattern. You wish calm and silent environment must visit there.
One of the sacred place. The Mulnayak Bhagwan Shri Pallaviya Parshavanath is counted in the 108 Prachin Parshvanath. The newly built temple is magnificent. The carvings on the exterior and interior walls and ceilings of the wall is extremely good. There is facility for dharmashala and Bhojanshala near the temple. Come to this divine place and get the blessings of Lord Pallaviya Parswanath.
Broad history behind this majestic temple. Its holy place of jain religion. And very great sculpture created in the temple. You have must visit special if you interested in architecture.
Very peaceful and calm jain temple in palanpur, gujarat. The buildings were under construction but have been made awesome.
Very good architecture and designing
