Mukesh S — Google review
"The Kutch Museum is a hidden gem for anyone interested in the rich history and culture of the Kutch region. The collection is impressive—ranging from ancient artifacts, traditional textiles, and tribal crafts to coins, sculptures, and musical instruments. The section on the Kutchi script and local communities was especially fascinating. The building itself is a beautiful piece of colonial-era architecture, adding to the experience. It's a peaceful, informative place and a must-visit for history and culture lovers. Just make sure to check the timings before you go, as they can vary."
A C — Google review
One of the few places you can visit during your trip to Bhuj. The ticket price for Indian nationals is a mere 5 rupees with additional discounts for students. But In my opinion the museum does not do justice to the rich heritage of the Kutch region. The museum is rather empty with very few displays. Most of the installations have little to no descriptions which is a major disappointment to people who're genuinely interested in learning about the history of the region.
Renzo D — Google review
Fantastic place to learn about the rich and varied history of Rann of Kutch. The entire place is superbly curated and maintained. The staff is warm, kind and courteous. We loved our history lessons here filled with artefacts from the years gone by.a must visit place for every history lover. 100% recommended.
Nishant J — Google review
It was founded by Maharao Khengarji in the year 1877. The museum consists of the region’s delightful diversity in craft and local living with inscriptions of Kshatrapa back to the one A.D. along with coines [Kori- A kutch local currency] as well as scripts [Having gujarati alphabets]. Other than that, there's an anthropological section, archaeological section, textiles section, weapons section, music instruments section, shipping section, and stuffed animals section. More particularly, there's a section devoted to the tribal community where one can see ancient artifacts, folk arts, and crafts and information about tribal people, who are a major part of Kutch's history and culture. Visiting Hours for tourists: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM & 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, Closed on Wednesday and Public Holidays. Having ticket charges of Rs 5/- . Parking is somewhat difficult to get in nearby areas.
Adv. N — Google review
The museum is good, maintained very nicely, and ancient things are present inside the museum which you should definitely explore The entry fee is 5Rs/- per person And if you want to click photos then you have to pay an extra 100rs.

Prag Mahal, a stunning palace located in Bhuj, is a remarkable example of 19th-century architecture that beautifully marries Gothic and Italianate styles. Constructed under the watchful eye of British architect James Bird for Rao Pragmalji II, this grand structure boasts intricate details like ornate columns and arches, along with an impressive clock tower. Visitors can explore its rich history while enjoying the nearby attractions such as Aina Mahal and Kutch Museum.
I visited Prag Mahal today with my family, and it was an incredible experience. This stunning 19th-century palace, built in an Italian-Gothic architectural style, stands as a testament to Bhuj’s rich history. The intricate carvings, grand chandeliers, and the towering clock tower offer a glimpse into the opulence of the bygone era. The highlight was the beautiful Durbar Hall, which still exudes royal charm. Prag Mahal was commissioned by Maharaja Pragmalji II in 1865 and designed by Colonel Henry Saint Wilkins, a British architect. The palace is primarily built with sandstone and features impressive European influences, making it unique among Indian palaces. Though it suffered damage during the 2001 earthquake, restoration efforts have preserved its grandeur. From the top of the clock tower, the panoramic view of Bhuj is breathtaking. It’s a must-visit place for history lovers and those who appreciate architectural beauty. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bhuj!

Prag Mahal is one of the most majestic places I’ve seen in Bhuj. The Durbar Hall with its royal chandeliers and detailed carvings is absolutely breathtaking. The clock tower climb gives a mesmerizing view of the entire city. Though some areas show the impact of time and earthquakes, the palace still carries an unmatched charm. Walking through its corridors truly feels like reliving the era of Kutch royalty. A must-visit for anyone exploring Bhuj!

Its over charged. The ticket price should be less.. you have to buy again ticket to visit aina mahal seprately. Too much crowd inside. Its an ancient palace to the king of bhuj and its located near the market area. Good to see once. There are lot of stalls where you get kutchi art work and kutch artist bells and other things. Food is not allowed to take inside.
Ronak S — Google review
This could have been managed much better. The artifacts not kept with care and love . The staff totally disinterested just sitting around. You start with a low vibe with the ticket counter all the way to the rest of the mahal. A once beautiful palace is even more lack lustre because of the energy around. Someone needs to take notice and do something about this once beautiful historic monument. The pigeons are everywhere.

The gardens are serene, and the atmosphere feels calm and timeless. A quiet but meaningful stop to experience Kutch’s royal past.

Beautiful palace with a few peacocks, a variety of flowers and a peaceful environment. Do book their homestay Incase you haven't booked stay. It was a 5 star stay with great food, camp fire, clean rooms and compassionate people around.
Mohit S — Google review
The entire palace grounds are quite serene and peaceful. They're also well maintained and clean. The various ruins add a layer of mystery to the mood of the place. The central building was ruined during the last Bhuj earthquake but one can still sense the grandeur and beauty. Our walk in the morning through the property was an amazing experience with all the birds, cool breeze, greenery everywhere, and the freshness of the air. There's enough parking space, in case you are driving to this place and we saw many people come in by tuktuk and rickshaw. There's a small entry fee for the museum, which displays a lot of interesting items from the collection of the last king of Kutch.
Ankur P — Google review
The SharadBaug Palace, once the royal residence of the Madansingh Royal family, has been transformed into a museum showcasing striking relics and a beautiful collection of flowers and medicinal plants. Visitors can visit the palace six days a week, with an entry fee of Rs 30. (-1) Please be aware while buying the tickets. We were overcharged ₹100/- for 3 persons. However, after arguing the cashier gave us the remaining amount.

Shree Swaminarayan Temple Bhuj, also known as Bhuj Mandir, is a Hindu temple that has been rebuilt with intricately carved marble pillars and towers adorned with golden spires. Like other Swaminarayan temples, it features vibrant wood carvings depicting Lord Krishna and Radha.
Such a beautiful architecture view. As I'm a civil engineer I loved the entire structure. It's a big temple with sufficient space to park your vehicle and walk. Bathing facility available here. Clean toilets. Visit early in the morning in the noon hour floor becomes warm and difficult to walk. Don't capture photographs and videos inside temple.

You can click photos here and they have their own nashta shop outside where you can buy masala shing.. and many other good quality nashta from here. Regarding temple its complete serine and much peace is here.. A must when you visit Bhuj.

The Swaminarayan Bhuj Temple is a beautiful and well-managed mandir. I had heard rumours that shorts were not allowed, and it turned out to be true. See the last image! It seems some women may have visited in inappropriate clothing, and now I am the one sweating in my long bottoms. That aside, the temple is stunning and well worth a visit. The bakery is also a hidden gem, serving excellent food. Be sure to ask for the puffs. OMG, they go down so nicely!

Nestled in the heart of Bhuj, the Bharatiya Sanskruti Darshan Museum is a treasure trove for anyone eager to delve into India's rich cultural tapestry. This captivating museum showcases an impressive array of folk art, textile crafts, and traditional architecture that reflect the diverse heritage of the region. The collection was thoughtfully curated by a dedicated government servant who traveled extensively to gather these artifacts from remote areas, ensuring that visitors can appreciate the depth and variety of local artistry.
If you are in bhuj u can spend half n hour here its worth it 😊
Prince V — Google review
At a distance of 5 km from Bhuj Railway Station, Bharatiya Sanskruti Museum is a cultural center as well as a museum located along the College Road in Bhuj city of Gujarat. Also known as Folk Museum, it is one of the top cultural centers of Gujarat and among the must visit places in Bhuj. Bharatiya Sanskruti Darshan Museum was established by Ramsinhji Rathod, a scholar of the folk art of Kutch, around sixty years back. It functions as both a museum and cultural center to showcase unique and rare pieces of crafts and folk arts of the Kutch region. Many specimens of the art and craft belong to the remote regions of Kutch District are exhibited in the museum. These artworks have been collected by forest service officials while travelling around the district. The museum has been designed in the form of a hut with a huge stone door adorned with beautiful rock carvings. There are five major sections in the museum in including Anthropology section, Sahitya Chitra, Artifacts Section etc. At present, Bharatiya Sanskruti Darshan Museum houses more than 4500 exhibits collected from different villages and rural areas of the region. The Sahitya Chitra dedicated to Indian literary work of Kutch, comprising of around 1500 rare books. Sections showing leather embroidery work, bead work, weapons and musical instruments are also worth exploring. In addition, there are sections exhibiting collections of wood work, stone carvings, paintings, silver work and terracotta. Kothala, a type of treasury used to keep valuables in the ancient times, is another highlight of the museum. Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Museum is a cultural centre and museum located on College Road in Bhuj, Gujarat. Also known as the Folk Museum, it is one of Gujarat's main cultural centres and a must-see place to visit in Bhuj. The precious objects were collected by a government servant who visited most regions while on duty. The main aim of keeping all the objects together was to create awareness for the general public. The shape of the museum is like a cottage. It has a league stone at the entryway, along with a beautiful carving of rock. The museum has five main sections: Anthropology, Artefacts and Sahitya Chitra. The Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Museum has 4500 objects collected from many villages in Gujarat. The museum also has local traditional objects for the showcase. It includes Rabari Bhungas, wood, stone carvings and musical instruments. The vintage Kutch textiles are quite interesting, especially if you haven't been to the Calico Museum in Ahmedabad. Collection of Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Museum Ramsinhji Rathod, a specialist in Kutch traditional art, built the Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Museum approximately sixty years ago. It is a museum as well as a cultural centre. It shows the unique and rare crafts and folk arts of Kutch. During the tour of the district, the forest service officials collected the artwork. The Sahitya Chitra is in honour of an Indian literary work from Kutch and has over 1500 rare volumes. Sections including leather stitching, beadwork, firearms, and musical instruments are all worth studying. There are further separate sections of collections of woodwork, stone carvings, paintings, silverwork, and terracotta. The other main attraction of the museum is Kothala. It is a treasury used to store ancient objects.
Hitendra V — Google review
It has got amazing vibes! The silver mirrors, ornaments and instruments are breathtaking. There's a special section about the historic relevance of Kutch with reference to the Indus civilization. Several statues depict the native nomadic tribes and their clothing/lifestyle. Coins and bandhej clothing are displayed on the walls. Good for young kids and history buffs.
Akshar P — Google review
The name suggests that it could be a showcase of Indian culture but it turned out to be a disappointment for me. There is place, there are rooms, there is so much room to do much more. But just the basic photos, some artifacts and some randomly made things are kept here. 1 room where cloth/print of kutch is kept is the relatively best thing although more than museum, it's just another place for you to take a photo There are 2 gates, 1 in which you see afew things, and other gate on opposite side where there is hut and other things made there. The maps may take you to a wrong place so you may want to put Kacheri in map. This is close to kacheri. There is limited parking in the premise and hence you may park your vehicles on road outside.
Taral S — Google review
Rare painting form being preserved / restored here. Joshi family is engaged in maintaining the museum. Rs.30 entry fee. Photography charge extra. Rare books on Kutch available. UPI accepted. Parking on the street.

Mr Ramsinhji K Rathod a scholar of the folk art of Kutch and winner of many state Government awards has created an excellent museum in Bhuj which is called Bharatiya Sanskruti Darshan. The museum epitomizes the rustic life styles of the Kutchi villager containing around 4500 exhibits. Also, there are more than 1500 rare books on art and culture. This museum has five major sections. In the Ethnological section, Sahitya Chitra, in the central hall can be found rare works of literature. In other sections are interesting artifacts such as leather embroidery, wood work, wood carvings, terra cotta, wall paintings, bead work, stone carvings, musical instruments, knives and swords and silver work. Inside one of the huts is the intricately designed "Kothala" (the treasury). In olden times, ornaments money, and other valuables of the royalty were kept in the "Kothala".

Constructed under the reign of Rao Lakhpatji in 1752, this opulent structure boasts intricate mirror work and lavish decorations featuring precious stones and elaborate chandeliers. "Visiting this historical site was like stepping back in time. The architecture and preserved details really bring the history to life. The information plaques and guided tour gave great insight into the events that took place here and their significance. It’s a perfect spot for history lovers, and even those less familiar with the past will find it fascinating. Definitely worth the visit—just make sure to give yourself enough time to take it all in!"

One of the famous tourist places in Bhuj. There is one room which has mirrors on the sides and also in the main hall and aisle area there are mirrors on the roof. There are lot of antique that are well preserved and taken care of. To enter the palace, you have to remove your shoes outside. There’s no one to look after the shoes that’s a bit of a scare. There are separate charges for photography inside and there are CCTV cameras put inside to keep an eye on people messing around with things. It takes about 30 mins to do the complete the tour and it is a decent experience.

"This is a heritage building and it needs to be maintained. We could only see a few rooms and articles, but we wanted to explore more. Unfortunately, the condition of the building was very poor… the Queen’s palace (Rani Mahal) was almost completely in ruins. It felt very disheartening, but the time spent there was still very pleasant."

We came to see this place along with campers from different districts of Gujarat. This palace is worth seeing. In which examples of items used in olden days can be found... Along with this, mirrors presented in different works are also seen. In which you will see a different work of yours by looking in the mirror... and at the same time there are many other things to see... Photography is prohibited inside the palace. Look, if someone wants to do photography, they can do it by paying a charge.

The White Desert of Kutch is a popular tourist destination in India, known for its vast expanse of white salt desert that becomes visible after monsoon season. The area is particularly popular during sunrise and sunset. Despite its remote location, the desert attracts thousands of domestic tourists every day during peak season. Despite the crowds, the magnanimous size of the desert makes it a soothing and beautiful experience. The cool weather in November only adds to its allure.
A truly mesmerizing and one-of-a-kind experience! The vast expanse of the white salt desert under the open sky is breathtaking, especially during sunset and full moon nights. The Rann Utsav adds vibrant cultural charm with music, food, and crafts. A must-visit for nature lovers and those seeking unique landscapes.

The Rann of Kutch, located in Gujarat, India, is one of the world’s largest salt deserts. Famous for its breathtaking white landscapes, it transforms into a cultural wonderland during the annual Rann Utsav, showcasing Gujarati art, music, dance, and cuisine. Visitors can enjoy stunning sunsets, moonlit nights over the white sands, and the warm hospitality of local villages. A must-visit destination for nature lovers, photographers, and culture enthusiasts alike.

Visiting the White Desert (Rann of Kutch) in March during the Holi weekend was an unforgettable experience. I was lucky enough to witness a truly magical full moon night in this surreal landscape. Make sure to also catch the sunset there – it's an absolutely stunning sight.

I Really like this.. The Rann of Kutch is famous for its natural beauty. The place is best for those who love photography, serene nature, and, most importantly, magical nights.

Rann of Kutch – A Magical White Wonderland ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Visiting the Rann of Kutch in December 2025 was truly one of the most memorable travel experiences ever! 🏜️✨ From the moment we arrived, we were mesmerized by the vast expanse of the white salt desert – it felt like walking on the moon, but brighter and more peaceful. 🌕🤍 Getting There: 🚍 Only authorized buses are allowed beyond a certain point. After that, you either: 🐫 Hop on a traditional camel cart (fun and rustic!) 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️ Or enjoy a walk across the surreal landscape Important Tip: 🪪 You must have a government permit to enter the White Rann area. ✔️ Check with your travel provider in advance. ⏳ If not pre-arranged, be prepared for long queues at the permit counter – especially during peak season. Experience Highlights: 🌅 Sunset was absolutely breathtaking – the sky turned into shades of orange, pink, and purple, reflecting off the white salt. A moment to cherish forever! 📸 Local vendors offer beautiful Kutchi costumes for rent – perfect for vibrant, cultural photos. ☀️ Sunrise is even more magical – peaceful, quiet, and soul-soothing. With far fewer people than in the evening, it feels like your own private moment with nature. Good to Know: 🧴 Carry plenty of water and snacks, especially if you're going early morning or staying late. 🍽️ Unfortunately, there are limited food options in the desert area. 🚫 No proper toilet facilities – we were told to use open fields, which was quite disappointing. 🚱 Also, no drinking water available onsite – so come prepared! Despite these challenges, the Rann’s ethereal beauty, cultural charm, and once-in-a-lifetime atmosphere make it worth the trip. 🌟 Pro Tip: If possible, stay overnight nearby – catching both sunset and sunrise truly completes the experience! Rann of Kutch – a glowing jewel of India’s natural wonders. Highly recommended! ✅

The Rann of Kutch is an absolutely mesmerizing destination! This vast white desert stretches endlessly, creating a surreal landscape that feels like stepping into another world. The sparkling salt flats under the sun are breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset. Don’t miss the Rann Utsav a vibrant cultural festival showcasing local music, dance, and handicrafts. Important tip: book your hotel or tent accommodation well in advance, especially during peak season and secure your entry permit before arriving at the White Rann. Also explore nearby attractions like Kala Dungar and Bhuj. A truly unforgettable experience!
Mayalcito B — Google review
The endless stretch of white salt under the open sky is surreal and mesmerizing. Whether you visit during sunrise, sunset, or on a full moon night, the desert glows with a beauty that words can’t fully capture. I visited during the Rann Utsav, and the whole setup was vibrant, cultural programs, handicrafts, local food, camel rides, and traditional Kutchi music made it a complete cultural experience. The tent city is well-organized and gives you a mix of luxury and authenticity. If you're a nature lover, photographer, or just someone seeking a peaceful yet unforgettable trip, this place is a must-visit. The Rann of Kutch stays in your heart long after you’ve left.

The restaurant offers authentic dosas, idlis, vadas, and uttapams prepared using traditional methods and ingredients. Mysore Masala Dosa and Rava Idli are among the crowd favorites. The casual and family-friendly atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for a hearty breakfast or relaxed meals.
South Indian stand up and do yourself proud. The food bangs on another level. The smabhat was amazing tasted so balanced no sugar added to there food was beautiful to dine at. The staff where very helpful, the juice I had fruit punch was freah, a little on the sweet side. This is the best dosa in kutch and is on there top level of master chef. Hats off to Sankalp.

Some very good starters, hara bhara kebab was the best! Good portions of food, and good chutney selection. Sambar was delicious and you could have as much as you like. Price was decent, we spent less than 700 per person for starters mains and deserts.

In case you are a South Indian stuck with not finding proper south Indian food at Bhuj, then dont worry. This is the place just for you. The Dosa they offer is mouth watering. Do visit when in Bhuj. The prices are quite high when compared to the hotels here in south India
Aditya H — Google review
They are specialized into the South Indian food. Its located on 1st Floor. Ambience was cool. Spacious seating arrangement. Staff was friendly & quick in service. Prices are higher than others. They have parking & toilet facility. You can pay by Cash/UPI/Card. We had :- Onion Dosa Crispy Dosa Onion Uttapam Rava Masala Dosa Mysore Dosa All Dosa's were crunchy, fresh & hot. Chutneys were delicious. They give Masala Paan as a complimentary.
Hemant E — Google review
Average taste. Not sure what the hype is all about. If you are used to having South Indian Food in Mumbai or in South, you will find this place as overhyped. Only the Chutney was up to the mark and everything was average or below average.
Vikas M — Google review
Sankalp maintains a standard all over there franchise, so it's rare that you will not find quality food & service. We ordered, Mysore Masala Dosa, Uttapam, Milk shake, fruit juice and sizzling brownie. All the dishes were really good, dosa could have been a little more better being on crispier side, however it was good in taste. There was only one down point, that the fruit juice I requested to be served with the food, it came at the end with the desert. Rest was really good and a recommended place for South Indian Food!!
Tushar S — Google review
Sankalp is a south indian restaurant chain in Gujarat. They have very nice ambience and great service. A lot of options in the menu, however, did not like the taste of the sambar. Dosa was kind of average type. Kesri bhat had decent taste. The prices are a bit on higher side.
Suhas F — Google review
This place was clean and the food here was tasty. Also, note that in Bhuj most of the hotels and restaurants close after 2:30 or 3:00PM. But, this place will be open for lunch. Being a South Indian, I can guarantee you that, you will enjoy the food here.

Not exactly kachhi thali To some extent ....i liked shrikhand a lot Their different variety of pickle is amazing
Ritika G — Google review
Our experience at Umiyaji Dining Hall on the first day of our trip was quite disappointing. We had specifically ordered Jain food, but despite repeated confirmations from the staff before serving each person, they still ended up serving non-Jain food. This lack of attention to dietary preferences was frustrating and unacceptable. To make matters worse, we had to wait for almost an hour before they finally served the correct Jain food. The service was extremely poor, and the food was not worth the wait. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I wouldn't recommend it to those looking for prompt service and proper adherence to dietary requirements.

They are not so professional. Their Cashier or Owner will bill you as your requirement. After that their waiters are not interested in fulfilling your requirements. They'll parcel food as per their wishes. It's as like you are buying Silver at the cost of Gold.

Excellent and reasonably priced Punjabi food is available here. The service is quick and the staff if polite and helpful. Location is a bit off, but the food quality and taste is pretty good. Don't visit here if you're looking for ambience, in which case you can order it online.
Hitesh S — Google review
Well this small restaurant is very old, around more than 60 years old, but has some good and authentic veg food. The owner is very friendly in nature and always has a smile that will tempt you to invite yourself in. The food was good and delicious. The staff is also friendly and keeps the place neat and tidy.
Sunil T — Google review
The location was a bit off-putting as it was stinking outside - however this isn't the issue once you're inside the restaurant. The food was served hot, and they didn't take much time to serve it either. The staff were ready to get you anything! The food we ordered was proper kathiyawadi style and I loved it, and as a person who has stayed in UAE for most of her life, the food didn't have any bad consequences or repercussions like an upset stomach...which is an important thing to mention. So if you're wandering around in the streets of Bhuj and are hungry I highly recommend that you visit this restaurant and let me know your opinions on it!

Non vegetarian restaurant
Hotel Noorani Mahal, situated near Desalsar Lake, is a top dining destination in Kutch, Gujarat. This restaurant offers a wide range of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian regional delicacies, with a focus on Asian and Indian cuisines. The establishment boasts a pleasant atmosphere that is ideal for family dining. Known for its extensive breakfast and lunch menus, Hotel Noorani Mahal is particularly renowned for its authentic Hyderabadi mutton biryani.
This is very nice and authentic place to have Non-veg food. Lot of variety for non veg as well as veg lovers. Service is also very quick. There are a very few good options in Bhuj for Non vegetarian food but this one is the best as far as taste is concerned. Ample of seating space for families too. Meat quality is also good.
Kapil G — Google review
Bhuj doesn't offer many options for non-vegetarian food, but if you're desperate enough to try Noorani Mahal Restaurant near the bus stand, let me warn you—bring a strong stomach. I made the mistake of ordering dum biryani and tandoori chicken. The prices seemed reasonable, but that was the only remotely positive thing about this place. The hygiene? Absolutely appalling. The waiter who took my order was chewing gutka, wearing a filthy uniform that looked like it hadn't been washed in months, and judging by his appearance, he probably hadn't bathed in just as long. When the food arrived, I immediately regretted my decision. The glasses for water were stained and grimy. Then came the salad with my tandoori chicken—complete with a bonus strand of hair. If that wasn’t bad enough, when they brought the chutney, I watched in horror as the waiter’s fingers made direct contact with it. As for the food itself? The dum biryani was bone-dry, completely flavorless, and tasted nothing like an actual dum biryani. But the real kicker was the state of the kitchen. It's visible from the reception counter, and let me tell you, I’ve seen railway station public toilets that looked cleaner. Hygiene isn’t about how expensive a restaurant is—it’s about basic human decency. And from what I experienced, Noorani Mahal has made a conscious decision to be as unhygienic as possible. One of the worst dining experiences of my life. Avoid at all costs.

Feedback Regarding Dinner Experience at Grand Flovar I had dinner at Grand Flovar recently and was quite disappointed with the overall experience. The food was served with excessive usage of food color, which not only affected the taste but also raised serious health concerns. Additionally, the chapati was served cold, which further impacted the quality of the meal. This feedback was shared directly with the counter manager, highlighting that the excessive use of food color can pose health risks to customers. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures better quality and healthier food practices going forward.

I would like to share my disappointment regarding my recent stay at Comfort Inn Prince. Unfortunately, I faced several issues during my visit which impacted my overall experience. Below are the concerns I encountered. 1. Drinking Water Charges: Only 1 litre of complimentary water was provided in the room. When I requested more, I was informed there would be additional charges. In my opinion, drinking water should be free and easily available for all guests, regardless of room type. Charging for basic water is not acceptable in a hotel of this level. 2. Single Bed in Standard Room: I was given a single bed, and when I asked for a double bed, I was told that Standard Rooms come only with single beds. This is not clearly mentioned at the time of booking, and is inconvenient for guests expecting more comfort. 3. Charging Point Issue: There was only one charging point near the bed. This caused a problem when I needed to charge my laptop and mobile phone simultaneously while working. For business travellers, this is a basic yet critical requirement. Due to the limited complimentary water, single bed, and charging port issue, I would rate this hotel 2 out of 5 stars. These are basic amenities that every hotel should ensure for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. Note: I had expected a more comfortable and hassle-free stay considering the reputation of the hotel. I hope you will look into these matters seriously and take necessary steps to improve the guest experience in the future.

Stick to deshi food, anything else like nachos or real coffee will be a letdown. Sunday evenings can be busy. Atmosphere was ok, mainly the fans were noisy.

The best place for get-together. Varieties of food are available here From burgers to Drinks .They prepare food in a hygienic environment. It is quite expensive as compared to ordinary Restaurants .The atmosphere is very nice. We really enjoyed the moments. I have a few photos inside and outside of this cafe along with the menu .Hope you like it.

This a small yet nice cafe, basically serving good quality and tasty preparation. The Crunchy Pasta this dish is same as red sauce pasta but the crunch was super amazing and something different than the regular, this place is good for quick bite and spend a coffee hour. Rates were moderate for the serving. Service and staff is good and polite

Retro cafe is very popular in town! The ambiance is so cool. Retro theme gives it another credits to get more popular. Famous as a dating cafe. You can have Some food dishes from only Retro cafe. Favourite place for hangout for college students. Famous for modelling shoots too!!

One of the worst cafe I have visited so far!! We ordered Mojito, Irish Coffee and Veg Maggie. They served Sprite instead of Mojito, black boiled water instead of Coffee and disgrace instead of Maggi. It was the worst taste of coffee and Maggi I had so far. Please ignore this place, not recommended at all.
Tushar S — Google review

The restaurant is located on the bhuj highway. Needs way more improvement when it comes to food and the taste of it. We ordered veg pulav and seriously i couldn't even it 2 spoons of it. We ordered gujarati thali, the roti, sabzi were not up to the mark. The basics of how to make the food needs to be learned and applied very fast. I am not recommending this restaurant at all.

Lots of parking problem, after table assign take 45 min to serve food. Too much small table can not eat comfortabley. No space between two table zero privacy also you can hear side table normal talk. I am surprised why people come to eat. I travel to bhuj and accidentally enter this resturant.

Kandla Airport

Airport
I have never seen a small airport in my life, it was very new experience for me, iam a sailor and came at kandla sea port and was going home, i was excited that kandla has an airport, place is very neat and clean, check in and security was the fastest i have done in my life, small waiting room with a snack corner, i was flying to mumbai on a small spice jet flight. Its one of a kind airport in india i think.
Prasob — Google review
Kandla Airport, located in Anjar near Gandhidham in Gujarat, serves the industrial and port areas around Kandla/Deendayal Port. It is operated by the Airports Authority of India and mainly handles domestic flights. What's Good: Close to Industrial / Port Area Because it serves Gandhidham, Kandla, and the Deendayal Port region, it has the potential to be very useful for business travelers, technical staff, and people whose work relates to ports and industries nearby. Good location. Existing Basic Infrastructure Though minimal, it already has a functional runway, terminal, apron, and basic navigation aids. This means improvement is more about upgrading rather than building from scratch. Support for Expansion There is government / local industrial body interest in restoring and improving its connectivity. Plans exist for a greenfield airport project, and land allocation (600‑1000 acres) has been discussed. Potential Demand The industrial growth in the Kutch region, the expansion of port operations, tourism potential, all suggest that if air connectivity is good, demand could increase. Local bodies have been pressing for better schedules and routes. What’s Hindering: Very Limited Passenger Capacity Handling ~100 passengers at a time is very low. Larger or busier flights are hard to accommodate. Runway and Aircraft Size Limitations The runway length and apron limits prevent larger aircraft (besides turboprops like ATRs) from operating. So international flights or flights using larger jets are not feasible currently. Irregular / Low Flight Connectivity Frequent cancellations, irregular services, and limited destinations are recurring complains. This affects reliability and usefulness, especially for business travelers. Insufficient Night & Support Facilities Though some reports say the airport is equipped for night landings, actual implementation has issues due to lack of staff or equipment. Also, navigation/landing aids are basic. Terminal & Passenger Amenities Weak Because of its small size, facilities are minimal (no or limited lounges, limited shops etc.). Also, inability to expand in the present location due to surrounding development. Lack of Consistent Policy / Slow Infrastructure Upgrades While master plans exist (e.g. AAI's master plan till 2049), acquiring land, getting clearances, executing expansion or building a greenfield airport has been slow. What Needs Improvement / Suggestions Increase runway length, widen apron, allow for bigger aircraft; improve night‑landing facilities fully. Improve terminal capacity and amenities: waiting lounges, refreshments, better passenger handling capacity. Increase frequency of flights, add more destinations (especially to big metros: Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru etc.) to make connectivity meaningful. Ensure reliability: fewer cancellations, better scheduling, more staff and maintenance support so flights operate as per schedule. Explore the proposed greenfield airport to overcome limitations of the present site; ensure connectivity (road / rail) to city centers; ensure environmental and community concerns are addressed. Overall Verdict 3/5 (with potential to rise) Kandla Airport in its current form is functional but quite limited. For people who need basic domestic connectivity, especially in relation to industrial or port work, it serves a purpose. But for regular passenger convenience, business travel, tourism, it falls short because of its size, capacity, and unreliable service. However, with the planned upgrades (greenfield airport), improved infrastructure, and better policy attention, it could become a much more important hub for Kutch and the western coast.

A very small airport with just one snacks shop... The terminal building is very small and the waiting time for security check and luggage check in is too short... The waiting time for the luggage to arrive at the belt is too long...
Anjali G — Google review
Kandla does not have too much flight movement so the airport is very very small & basic. Nothing fancy but just enough. It doesn't even have a baggage counter. The baggage is handed over manually in a shed right after you step out of the plain. Even the flights that land here are very small. But it is a good option for going to places like Rann of Kuchh, Dholavira, etc. For these places, it is definitely better situated than Ahmedabad airport.
Shilpi S — Google review
Kandla Airport is one of the smallest airports in India. Only a couple of flights operated at the airport. The waiting area is very much a small for check-in, and even people can not stand in the check-in area. Departure is managed by two big rooms hall only. No belt or trolleys are required to operate the business. The same is applicable for arrivals. However, to see the demand, the Kutch area must have one complete world-class airport.

Jamnagar Airport

International airport
Airport
Domestic airport
Jamnagar Airport has undergone significant improvements, now boasting a well-maintained and spacious domestic terminal. The staff is helpful and the airport offers a pleasant ambiance despite being located within an airforce area. There are limited food options, so it's advisable to eat before security check-in or bring your own snacks. The airport provides a great view and quick security checks, with only one small pantry available for food and drink.
Small airport but elgant and neatly maintained. Air India and Star Air operate flights from Jamnagar.

Average airport. Only one flight to and fro from Jamnagar to Mumbai .No shops here. Security is good

Very very small airport.Earlier ,I considered Devghar is the smallest airport, but it is smaller than Devghar Airport,Jharkhand. Only AirIndia is available. No shop for eating any snacks,No lounge. No food shop like McDonald's outside airport.Service is auosome. Cons- When you come to this airport from Dwarka, there is 2 rail lines,(made by Reliance Inds for their work) which crosses dwarka- porbunder- Jamnagar road. These 2 rail lines are main reason for obstruction to reach the airport.Otherwise, smooth journey of 2 and half hour from Dwarka.

Clean and Green Jamnagar Airport having limited amenities, based on growing demand, growing airlines and lots of public, it should be modernized as a world class airport, considering Reliance and Nayara home ground...

Very small, neat and clean airport. No lounge and smoking area available even food stalls. Must carry food from out side if you have more waiting time. Bathrooms are dirty and like a railway/bus stations.

Small lush green airport maintained neat and clean. Have parking facility as well. Decent connectivity with big cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Facilities are decent enough.
Bhargav M — Google review
A small Airport with very courteous staff. Our flights were delayed so we spent a lot more time than we thought we would. Only one food counter with limited food options. Once security checked in there is no food counter at all so please eat before that if possible. The food is reasonably priced, if possible carry food and eat before security checkin. Intense checking of bags so ensure to remove all electronic products before putting into security check.
Sreelatha M — Google review
Simple airport with quick, efficient processing of baggage, and security. One small snacks shop on site. Not a huge choice of food/drink within it so try to fill up with snacks in advance of arrival. Facilities clean and well staffed.

Bhuj Airport (BHJ) is a small yet functional airport serving the city of Bhuj and the Kutch region in Gujarat. It primarily caters to domestic travelers and is known for its easy accessibility and minimal crowd. The airport is well-maintained, with a clean and organized terminal. Facilities Available: Check-in & Security: Quick and efficient due to low passenger volume. Waiting Area: Limited seating but decent for a small airport. Food & Beverages: Basic snack counters available, though options are limited. Baggage Services: Small luggage belt with a smooth baggage claim process. Transportation: Taxis and auto-rickshaws are available outside the terminal. Parking: Limited parking space but sufficient for current traffic levels.
