The enchanting Maharani Padmini Palace at Chittorgarh captivated me during my winter visit. The historical charm blended seamlessly with the crisp winter air, offering a serene and picturesque experience. The intricate architecture and detailed craftsmanship transported me to a bygone era, while the well-maintained surroundings added to the overall allure. Exploring the palace grounds in the cool weather enhanced the visit, creating lasting memories of a regal and memorable winter escape.

One of the finest carved palace in Chhitorgrah, there's a museum where you can see various kind of weapons and armory such as Swords, shields, Costumes, knives and the most impressive Guns. The lenght of guns are like 5-6 foot other than that there were modern revolvers and pistols as well. Other than that, fine paintings were drawn about various historical events with information. And i think this one is the same palace where some scenes of a movie shooted not sure about that. Ticket is just ₹30.

Palace now turned into museum is a marvellous architectural creation. Now a museum has various historic items of kings that is armour gallery, different type of old gun collection used at that time. Arrows and armours used during the war. The items kept are not original but tried their best to make it look like real.

This is a very nice museum and would suggest the people who are interested in artillery and history to visit this since there are so many historical weapons like swords, armours, guns, arrows, shields and many more It would only take 30 min if you visit this and for a detailed visit where you read everything and understand all the history then it would take around an hour since there is a room dedicated to the history of the place where all the names of the kings are written and the attacks on the palace is also written over there

Nothing extraordinary... however you get a glimpse of the history and significance of the fort. The entry ticket of Rs. 22 for adults is not justified though. It only has a few halls displaying weapons of the bygone era, nothing much.

Calm and serene place and boat riding adds amazing memory.

Inside the palace, many essential materials of the ancient period are kept, which were used in its time. The view here is very beautiful.🙂🙂🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡 👍But outside the palace you will find some horsemen who will ask you to take photographs. Beware of them. In the beginning, they will lure you and tell you less money. Later you will be hit with more bills. That's why the careful government should take strict action against them so that foreign tourists don't face any inconvenience.

You get a good idea of the history and importance of the place from this museum. Few to many artefacts are repeated in display but overall it's worth the visit at very nominal charges. But need to take exact change, online payment often doesn't work or is not available.

The Rana Ratan Palace was the winter palace of the former Merwar Royal Family that was built on the orders of Ratan Singh II who reigned from 1527 to 1531. Though this place is remains of the palace but I liked this place very much. The enclosing high walls and the skeletal remains of the interior rooms. The palace is set far to the north of the Chittorgarh palace complex, but in a beautiful setting right next to an artificial lake. The sad part is that this place is not well maintained and we should restore our history by simply maintaining such places.

Worst experience ever! The hotel staff shamelessly accused us of stealing their old, used towels. We mostly stay in luxury properties—why on earth would genuine customers steal two worn-out towels? The staff was extremely impolite and even used abusive language towards guests on call for missing towels. It is clear that the staff themselves mishandled or stole the towels and tried to blame customers for it. I had booked three rooms(for 8 people)—one had an extra bed but no extra towels, another had no towels at all (despite calling more than three times, we were given only one towel for two guests). One room stank heavily of smoke, and the corridors reeked of non-veg food. Absolutely unprofessional, unacceptable, and the worst hospitality experience I’ve ever had!

The hotel is marketed as a “heritage” property, but my stay did not reflect the standards usually associated with this category. The room allotted was fairly ordinary, with no distinctive features or charm that would justify a heritage label. Additionally, the passages and common areas were not properly cleaned, which detracted further from the overall experience. While the property may have potential, it requires much better upkeep, stronger attention to detail, and a genuine effort to highlight and preserve its heritage character. Until then, it feels more like a regular stay rather than the heritage experience one would expect.

Though I haven’t had the chance to visit the rooms personally, based on the overall ambiance and service, I believe the accommodations would be up to the mark. The food served at Pratap Place is delicious and satisfying, definitely a highlight of the experience. Located conveniently in the mid-city area, it offers great accessibility while maintaining a peaceful vibe. It’s a suitable spot for families looking for a safe and welcoming environment. The staff is very cooperative, polite, and always ready to assist with a smile. Overall, Pratap Place provides a warm and homely atmosphere, making it a promising option for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We have stopped here for lunch after completing Chittorgarh fort visit and recommended by your guide. It's an average place in terms of food and service. We have ordered rice, egg curry, chicken curry, tandoori roti and butter milk. They took ages to serve and that also they have added extra dishes which we have not ordered. They accepted their mistake while taking the order and not billed. Ambience is good but food is below average with respect to taste.

The hotel services are the worst. The staff was impolite. The extra bed and bedsheet provided were extremely thin, almost like sleeping on the floor. There was an unpleasant smell in the restaurant and corridors, and the rooms reeked of smoke. Shockingly, the staff accused guests of stealing towels—why would someone paying ₹8,000 per night steal two worn-out towels ?😡

Disappointing Stay at Hotel Pratap Palace I recently had the misfortune of staying at [Hotel Name] from 14th Aug'25 to 17th Aug'25, n unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The room I was allotted had a defective lock, which was a major inconvenience. Every time I needed to enter or exit the room, I had to call the staff to unlock it for me. This not only wasted my time but also made me feel insecure. To make matters worse, my car was damaged in the hotel's parking lot. A bull somehow got into the parking area and not only broke the backlight of my car but also left a dent on the rear bumper. It was shocking to see such negligence in maintaining the parking area. Given the issues I faced, I would not recommend to anyone. The hotel needs to work on improving its room maintenance and parking security to provide a comfortable and safe stay for its guests. *Rating:* 0/5 stars *Advice:* Unless the hotel takes concrete steps to address these issues, I would suggest looking elsewhere for accommodation.

Just visited the restaurant, waiter have little bit confused to describe the food. 1. Waiter informed us that thali is available with limited to 6 chapati and for one person. It confused us , because there is two types of thali system in india. A. Limited items - no person limit. B. Unlimited items - one person limit. 2. Now what happen another person again asked that regarding it, but he has also failed to describe it. 3. At the last of payment I informed it to the reception. Then the person informed us that their thali is unlimited to one person. So they should provide a training to their waiter. Last thing their rates are normal, however taste of them are average.

Not good not bad, it's a mix kind of experience because I ordered thali and they give less sabji and more chapati in thali system and you have to order more sabji for finishing the food. So they charge you more for if you order thali. Otherwise food is good, location is good.

Came here after reading good reviews and we were not at all disappointed. The best thing about this place was it's staff- so very cordial, so polite and welcoming. Ordered the food from Train. They delivered it on Railway Station smoothely. The lady on the call was very polite and explained the menu with utter patience. The food was such a treat for the taste buds. Their channa masala is authentic rajasthani and lip smacking. Chapattis cooked with good quality fluor and the ghee applied over them made it perfect. Prices are reasonable, not cheap though. Good ambience. Clean washroom. Ample parking. The bad. Serving time is bit on the slower side. But services are great. The ugl. Nothing unless you account for the overall approach path of narrow lanes as harrowing.

A great place to have a meal atop the Chittorgarh fort hill while exploring the place, though it is a bit hidden in the village. The food tastes good and the quality and quantity was decent. The Rajasthani thali was priced at ₹550, yet the quantity was very less — definitely not worth the cost. They even charged ₹100 for a single bajri roti and ₹80 for fried chillies, which are usually complimentary in most Rajasthani restaurants. The taste was average, nothing special to justify such high prices. Overall, it felt overpriced and not value for money. Wouldn’t recommend it for anyone looking for a genuine or budget-friendly Rajasthani meal. Later, the owner replied saying “Sir, there were 5 of you and all of you together ordered a thali, so thali means one person unlimited.” To clarify — we were only 3 person. We didn’t share a thali as an unlimited buffet; we just tried it together because of the high pricing and wanted to taste before ordering more. Still, we were charged for every small item separately, making the experience feel overpriced and unwelcoming. Overall, the taste was average and the pricing unreasonable. Wouldn’t recommend it for those expecting value for money or genuine Rajasthani hospitality.

We had a delightful experience at Barbarik Hotel inside Chittorgarh Fort. The food was excellent and truly captured the authentic Rajasthani flavors. We enjoyed Bajra ki Roti, Besan ka Gutta, Sev Tamatar, Lasun ka Masala, Mangori Papad, and Kadi — each dish was perfectly spiced and bursting with traditional taste. I recently visited Chokhi Dhanaji Restaurant and was quite disappointed with the food quality, especially considering the prices. The dal makhani and dal tadka were poorly prepared — lacking flavor and depth, which are basics for these dishes. The roti served was so hard it was barely edible. For the price they’re charging, I expected far better quality and taste. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet expectations. I hope they seriously work on improving their food standards.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was extremely poor, and the staff was quite rude and unprofessional. There seems to be a serious lack of customer service training — the team had no sense of how to interact with or respond to customers. The food did not taste good, and the overall quality was below expectations. On top of that, the service was painfully slow. We had to constantly follow up on our order, and it felt like we were just sitting and waiting without any updates. Even after placing the order, they served the wrong items, which shows a lack of attention and coordination. I was there on 9th august. We were told that your order will take 25mins to be served. But they kept us waiting for an hour and when our food came, it was delivered incomplete. I would rate it on overall 4.5/5. Hotel staff was polite and kind, location is on highway/ easy to find and food was served hot and tasty. We had vegetarian dishes, so everything was made a fresh, including the amazing strong cup of teas (personally a fan of it). Although the rooms were clean, it would have been even more better if we could get a deep cleaned room, as my family is more peculiar about dust etc. Otherwise, it was a great and very comfortable experience. Kudos!

This Place has basically covered everything, from Great Food to a proper ambiance and the place is big enough to accommodate several big parties/ large family or friend gatherings all at once and not only that, they have separate seating areas for people visiting with family and also for friends and bachelors. This dhaba is better than most of the restaurants and the cost is not even half of what restaurants charge, they have only pure veg food, and we got to know that they cook everything from their own farm's production, they have big farms and land connected to the Dhaba and nearby lands are theirs as well and they get everything, from vegetables to flour, rice, ghee , milk, you name it from their own farms and they have it all fresh and very delicious indeed . The location is great and the cleanliness is too good, they have several wash basins all over the property, so hygiene is never going to be an Issue at all, they have been properly working under the COVID-19 guidelines. They have great seating arrangements for both indoors and outdoors as well. Do checkout the garden area, great place to rest as well if one wants to, they have put many beds/khaat(coir bed) in several areas nearby the garden and it's a great place for kids to hangout as well, there are several swings and things for their entertainment and if you're with family or friends, either way it's going to be some good quality time spent for sure. They've maintained the entire property with much care and it shows in every bit of it all as it's their family business and the staff is very polite and helpful. Their Thaali Food is one of the best I've ever had the pleasure to eat, there are other items from the regular menu as well that could be ordered. They serve their food always hot and especially in brass plates and bowls (peetal thali and katori ). This is a must visit if anyone is crossing this place or nearby. I highly recommend it. Thanks to the entire management of R.R. Dhaba !! We'll keep visiting for sure.

1/5 Stars - Terrible Experience at Domino's Pizza I had a horrible experience at Domino's Pizza. I ordered Farmhouse and Cheese Burst Pizza but both are the worst and taste like mud ( sukhi roti ) no cheese and veggies in pizza. Pizzas were hard, not cooked properly, no sauce and barely any cheese or toppings. The service was also terrible - the staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful. The outlet itself was not well-maintained, with a dull atmosphere and poor cleanliness. Overall, I would not recommend Domino's Pizza to anyone. This dominos outlet in Chittaurgarh is probably the worst dominos ever and if I had the power I would immediately shut it down. The outlet is extremely dirty the tables are not being cleaned even after the guests left hours before. Staff is busy in their chit chat rather then cleaning the outlet. Starting from the entry you will see flies and bugs at the entry gate, all the tables had clearnce and used pizza boxes, I went into the washroom to wash hands and it was stinking like hell and was extremely dirty like a public toilet on some bus stand. No hygiene or cleanliness being maintained but they are still charging you money fully. I saw one family sitting next to us complaining about their cold food and asking for manager who was least bothered to come to meet them and was sitting outside on stairs just doing timepass. Our order was a dine in order and placed through app which they marked as ready but when I went to check it wasn't ready for another 20 minutes. I would really request the team dominos to look into this matter.

The environment of all the staff is not good, they are shouting very loudly, they should know that there are customers sitting outside, they are using very abusive language

Disappointed with the Experience at Domino’s Chittorgarh I usually enjoy Domino’s, but my recent experience at the Chittorgarh branch was quite disappointing. The service was slow—even with very few customers, the order took a long time to arrive. The pizza wasn’t served hot, and the crust felt stale, not up to the usual Domino’s quality. Additionally, the dining area was not clean, and the tables weren't wiped properly. The staff seemed disinterested and not very attentive to customer needs. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving both food quality and customer service. Domino’s has a great reputation, and I’d love to see this branch match that standard.

1. The staff simply doesn't care. I ordered Cheese volcano peppy paneer but got simple peppy paneer instead. 2. Non existent hygiene. So many flies everywhere. Tables aren't wiped down. I got food poisoning after dining here. 3. Disgusting Atmosphere. Beggars keep roaming on the gates. Even the chairs and tables aren't arranged right after someone leaves. Conclusion. They've stopped caring about dine-in customers.

I have been to many Domino's outlets, this experience was the worse. Domino's is a brand of which name is enough when we discuss about pizza but here the taste is very poor. I ordered extra cheese pizza along with a cheese burst for other pizza, but there is cheese lesser than normal pizza In them. The staff was super rude when we complained about them. Not just this, the outlet was very dirty and very messy. The tables very not clean. When we asked them to clear a table for us, they took almost 10-12mins to do the same. I had visited the store around 7pm which is still early evening and the rush is expected from this time but still the store was in a mess. One of my friends had to visit the restroom but she couldn't use it because it was so dirty. Very poor service, poor staff, poor sanitization. When you are in FNB department, people skills are must, customer satisfaction should be your priority but this outlet of Domino's fails in all aspects.

A small town airport, well maintained, with amenities for eating and shopping. Well lit up, neat and clean, there are sufficient signages and screen for gates, security, flight details, amenities. There is a state of art new terminal under construction which might take a year more to come up.

Maharana Pratap Airport is one of the most convenient airports I have traveled through. The place is less crowded, which makes the entire experience peaceful and stress-free. Services are well-managed, and the staff is very cooperative, always ready to assist with a smile. The check-in and security process is smooth, and there is no inconvenience at any stage. Overall, a clean, well-maintained, and traveler-friendly airport that leaves a positive impression every time.

Airport expansion is going on. It's away from udaipur city,takes 30 to 40 minutes time to reach the Airport. Don't take much time to drop your goods and check in. Wonderful

Reviwed on 27th Sep 2025. This airport is a tier 3 airport with only 3 gates. It’s 25kms outside of the city. If you book Uber or Ola, the drivers ask extra money since it’s outskirts and there’s a strong union. There’s no Lounge inside and the food is expensive considering Tier 3 airport. Maggi costs 400 inr. There is a nee terminal constriction going on and it’s expected to get a Lounge for resting.

This is domestic small airport, located 22km away from city, uber and ola taxi available here. Airport is well maintained and fast check in and security check done. Food restaurants offering tasty and fresh items.

I had a great experience at this airport! It’s clean, modern, and very well-organized. The amenities are excellent — plenty of comfortable seating, charging stations, and a nice selection of shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the whole travel process smooth and stress-free. Definitely one of the better airports I’ve been through!

Very small but neat and clean, nicely managed airport. Unlike delhis T2, all bridges work with proper staff stationed at most locations. Food stalls are few and shopping area is bigger. A new 4 times bigger international airport is under construction, should be ready next year.
