Rode in my motorcycle from Pasig doing a solo south loop. Through google map, this is one of the mosque that I want to see. The place is safe and quiet. There are vendors inside the compound. There are also friendly kids around the area. The main gate is closed but the smaller one can is open that a motorcycle can pass through. I didn't dare to go inside as I am already OK to see from the outside.
It's always neat to see the "Pink Mosque" though it is more and more of a tourist attraction and a house of worship now. They want to rent robes and scarves and stuff and claim they are required to enter (and they should be) but the people that are inside the gate telling you that you must wear a scarf can be seen quickly putting theirs on as you approach. Basically they want to enforce their rules for a profit more than for their faith, which is sad. I have no objection to dressing properly at a mosque, but the people telling you that you must rent their robes or scarves out of respect for the faith should at least follow their own rules. And the begging kids are a bit much. Still worth seeing. But it is more about toursit sales now than faith.
Masjid Dimaukom (Pink Mosque) – A Peaceful Landmark in Maguindanao Masjid Dimaukom, also known as the Pink Mosque, is a stunning symbol of peace and unity located in Datu Saudi Ampatuan, Maguindanao. Its vibrant pink color represents love and harmony, making it not only a place of worship but also a unique architectural treasure in Mindanao. Surrounded by palm trees and open skies, this mosque offers a peaceful atmosphere perfect for reflection and appreciation of culture. If you love exploring beautiful destinations in the Philippines, this is definitely a place to include in your travel list. The design, the colors, and the meaning behind it are all worth seeing in person. 📽️ I’ve captured more videos of Masjid Dimaukom and other amazing spots—feel free to check them out on my YouTube channel. A vibrant, nice and exceptional Islamic Architecture in the Philippines! Super accessible and easy to find if you are a tourist.
The pink mosque is ideal for photography, although the paint could use some upkeep. On the bright side, the complimentary sarong and hijab provided for non-Muslim guests is a thoughtful gesture!
Easy to spot along the national highway, the dubbed Pink Mosque of Datu Ampatuan, Maguindanao province will actually signify the tourist that you are nearby, thanks to the posts, walls cladded with pink paint or design. It also features a spacious lawn were guests and visitors can have a photo featuring the entire facade. It is a privately owned by a clan but led still open to the public for tourism purposes. It is a usual part of a tour circuit from Maguindanao to Cotabato and/or including the SOX Region
Masjid Dimaukom, known as the Pink Mosque, is a unique and beautiful landmark in Maguindanao. Visitors can borrow Muslim attire for free. You may give donations too. Local children often offer to take photos, and they do an excellent job. Tip them for their free service.
Visited the place during my first Philippine Loop Adventure. Quiet place and the structure is eye-catching especially for someone who doesn't see mosque too often. Friendly caretakers are in the area willing to help you take pictures.
