Babadek Sulfur Spring, located just a 2-hour ride north of Baguio City, is a hidden gem offering a relaxing escape. Surrounded by nature, the sulfur-rich hot springs provide a soothing experience for both body and mind. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the healing benefits of the mineral-infused waters.

Pretty awesome scene. The water in the “bowl” is actually boiling. It’s like a huge soil pot with boiling water. There is an area near the view deck where one can have a sulphuric mud bath. There’s also an area where one can take a shower after. I did not try any, was just there to sight-see. There is a p50 entrance fee per visitor. Small kids an enter free.

Interesting place for a short stop over after or before climbing Mt Pulag. It is a short detour from the main road. Admission fee is 75 PHP for adults and 50 PHP for students. 15 minutes is enough to see this attraction unless one wants to soak his or her feet in the sulfur mud. This place is open from 8 am to 5 pm (Monday to Saturday) and 9 am to 4 pm (Sunday).

Astonished by the up close experience.. We threw some coins for offering and gathered some clay from the sulfur spring. It was a nice experience.

This unusual tourist attraction in Bokod is one for the books. It is a popular side trip if you came from Mount Pulag. The boiling natural sulfur emits a foul smell but the place is just stunning. It is one of its kind in the Cordilleras. As of this writing, the place has been barricaded and claimed to be a private property. We just sneaked in to experience the place even for just a few minutes.
