Great museum for people who love technology and science behind it! I was fully invested, I liked it a lot. It took me 2,5 hours (I was exploring and reading literally everything).
A great museum in the center of Eindhoven! It's exciting to watch a 130 year technology revolution in your native language! On the other hand, the museum was smaller than I expected. I see the brilliance of historical processes in a better interactive way. But I still recommend it…
A great museum to learn about history of Philips and its connection to Eindhoven region. I liked the history of lights part. For kids there is a nice workshop upstairs Recently they also have added a section on AI and its impact on society. However, what I expected that they would have wider samples from different Radio and Television and Tape recorders etc. from thier more than half a century history, but I was bit disappointed to see only a few. Nevertheless overall definitely worth a visit.
I didn’t expect a whole deal from this but was presently surprised, I had no idea the influence of this company- some really touching features. The cinema was nice to see the influence during the war. Cafe seemed reasonably priced- sadly no GF options. Also the free audio guide was a nice feature. A lot of interactive features
Nice museum. Not very big. The history part Was Great. A little selection of philips products on display
The museum is definitely a great surprise! Rather than a straightforward exhibition with boring facts, the Phillips museum is like a time machine, which helps you look into the lives of the past couple of generations, how their lives got changed because of electricity and Philips, and how they also shape the future.
Kids workshop is a must do! Amazing to watch them creating objects with their own hands. And than they ad on motor and battery it so it starts to move! Kids where so focused, happy and proud at the and!
Very nice museum with interesting history of Philips company. It’s not so big and can be viewed within one or one and half an hour.

Really cool museum. Not very big, still a great collection of classic and modern vehicles. From tanks, fireman trucks, trucks and more. The kids love it because they can go inside of them and "play and drive". You can eat in the restaurant. There are clean toilets and a wardrobe. The different ambients are super well done. It is included in the museum card. Commuting by car with external paid parking, bus stops nearby or by foot.
Wonderful museum! I highly recommend; it has many interactions as well as statics and signs. Most signs are also in English in addition to the Dutch. We spent over two hours there and would have loved to have spent more time there!
A truly wonderful museum. There are lots of things to look at, but also to touch and try out. The staff are very helpful and explain things really well. There are even driving simulators so you can experience what it feels like to drive a truck. I highly recommend a visit here. Thank you for having me as your guest.
One of the best museums to visit in Eindhoven. You get to see all kinds of Trucks (racing, heavy duty, military etc), car (vintage, racing, wagon etc) and trolley. The museum is well maintained preserving the minute details. Information is provided for each of the vehicle. Great place to visit alone or with friends. Must visit once.
A place to experience and enjoy if you are into cars and trucks. Many old models of cars and trucks are on display. They have English translation available im the description boards for international audience.
I visited this museum during my stay in Eindhoven. It houses a vast collection of historic artifacts and provides extensive information about the Dutch Automobile Federation (DAF). The truck designs are impressive, but the cars are the most captivating aspect of the museum.
We went there thinking an hour is enough. But ended up staying for 2 hours. TONS of things to watch and experience, even have a couple computer simulation driving experience/game. You can sit inside a number of cars/trucks/busses so fun to take photos. They have a nice Cafe inside with delicious soup and pie. Street paid arking is available in the near by street. Great place to stop by for kids!!
Spent about an hour here. Many quirky and unique vehicles. Wide variety, from microcars over military platforms to busses and trucks. Well worth it.

It’s a very nice museum. It’s mainly focused on abstract art, which I usually dislike a lot, but many parts of the exhibition took me by heart. The architecture of the building is also amazing, with nice balconies to observe the river. In some places, you can see 4-5 floors below, which is not the best option if you’re afraid of heights. This is the most memorable museum when it comes to feelings that it provoked.
A compact but world-class spot for modern and contemporary art. I spent just over an hour with the “Hidden Connections” exhibition—sharp curatorial storytelling and clear English labels—then cooled off in the quiet atrium café. Friendly staff, lockers for backpacks, and plenty of seating make it an easy yes if you’re in Eindhoven.
The exhibitions were very captivating and beautiful! What's more, they sell older issues of used magazines that are in good conditions for a very good price, 1-3€. They also have an amazing selection of postcards!
Take time to visit museum of strait simple Holland design and art Tickets on Sunday are €16.00 and thy have lockers Museum is such beautiful architecture of old and new combination with surroundings river and plants
Nothing spectacular. The museum itself is nicely organized and decorated, but the exhibits are underwhelming. It mainly focuses on the exploitation of Indonesians by the Dutch, showcasing how industrialists used cheap labor. Other than that, there were videos that were uninteresting and looked unprofessional. The best feature was the images accompanied by scented papers, with the smells representing the atmosphere of each picture.
Somehow I wouldn’t go in there if I hadn’t a Ticket for the DDW . But I get suprised about the Architecture inside - like a 4 Floor Labyrinth… Kinda like it - next time I will spend more time!
I love this museum the curation is on point. I was very impressed not only with their selection of art, but also their attempt to stay ecologically friendly by locally souring the art supplies. And mostly for taking responsibility about how H van Abbe got rich on the tobacco industry regarding the Netherlands dark past in regard to indentured servitude and colonialism. Very thought provoking pieces and multicultural artist as well as young artist aswell! Not to mention how inclusive the museum is to wheelchairs, and including sensory version of art pieces! Bathrooms are non-gendered and clean 🎉
This place is the best museum I have ever been so far. I strongly recommend you to visit if you’re interested. A must see place for especially architects! The artwork appeals to the 5 senses of human body and tries to create new ones. I am not even talking about the location of the building where the water beats the exterior walls. Popped up glass niches coming out of interiors literally made my day :)

St. Catherine's Church, a magnificent building with a rich history, boasts a unique story encompassing fires, wars, and even a period of use as a stable. Its Gothic design is superb. Interestingly, archaeological excavations uncovered approximately 1000 skeletons within the church grounds.
Such a beautiful church right in the middle of the city. I really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere inside — it’s nice to step away from the busy streets for a while. The stained glass and high ceilings are stunning, and I loved discovering the little archaeological displays under the glass floor. It’s free to go in, which is great, and there’s plenty of space to sit and just take it all in. I just wish there were a few more signs or explanations in English, but still, I’d definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in Eindhoven

Fantastic (award winning) beer selection. Good pub food (including Dutch influences). A fantastic environment and honestly one of the better modern places to drink in Europe. Worth stopping in Eindhoven just for some drinks here.
Number 1 craft brewery in Eindhoven - absolute must for all the beer lovers visiting "City of lights" 😉 + good quality beer + friendly staff (they imidately gave us free beer on the house) +- high prices but on the "Eindhoven level", so high depending with what you compare them *take their "beer flight", 4 tasters, which gives you overall impression about their beer profile
Great selection of their own craft beer, lovely view sitting outside to enjoy the sunshine. Highly recommended place if you love exploring new drinks.
Great brewery ! If it's your first time here, make sure to ask them for the draft of the day. It contains their top 4 drafts. You'll be explained each of them. Can give it a try before making a choice. The best part are the people serving you.
Nice to spend evening by the side of canal. Both indoors ans outside atmosphere gives positive and refreshing vibes.
Good selection of beers, nice atmosphere. Hardly any Dutch speaking personnel
Wide selection of craft beers, cosy atmosphere, nice and carying staff and lovely burgers! Highly recommended!
Always a good option. Specially in the summer time. Good food options and amazing beer/gin/desserts.

A random stop to kill some time turned into an amazing experience. We sat upstairs in the bar for about an hour, having a few drinks and talking the only other gentleman in the building, which, luckily enough, he was out bartender. Behind the bar is well organized with an open, decluttered feeling. The distillery is in the more industrial area of the city, but I can't wait to come back in a few years and see how it's grown.
I had an incredible experience at Bottle Distillery in Eindhoven. This distillery truly stands out with their impressive selection of house-made gin, rum, vodka, and beer brandy. The highlight was being able to sample a variety of their creations, allowing me to explore and appreciate their craft. The addition of a cozy café located behind the distillery added to the overall charm of the place. The staff were not only knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly, making the visit all the more enjoyable. If you're looking for a unique and engaging distillery experience with a warm atmosphere, Bottle Distillery is a must-visit!
Highly recommend visiting. We were shown round by Mark who started the business with his wife, following a trip a distillery in the US. He was incredibly informative and friendly, we also were able to taste three of their products and more if we wanted. There’s a great outdoor seating area also and the food looked great! Thank you Mark!
This has been the best gin I have ever tried!! The place is unbelievably cosy, smooth music and really nice gin. They have various gin combinations and the price is decent compared to different places. It's a hidden gem and more people should visit it. It is worth visiting, it is officially on my top list in Eindhoven!!!
Visited the Bottle Distillery for a tour+tasting+making gin workshop hosted by Lotte and I can highly recommend it as a boozy group activity. Lotte was very informative and chatty and I actually learnt more than I expected about making gin! They have a lovely bar/cafe and little shop so not only did I come home with a 250ml of diy gin but also a bottle of limoncello 🤤
Just outside the city center in an old industrial building. Distillery and shop downstairs and tasting room upstairs. Plenty of gin to taste. Homemade and that also goed for their hand desinfecting lotion. Made from gin waste of leftover product 👍 Bit quiet this wednesday afternoon.
Had a great Gin workshop here. Can really recommend this! It is also a great place to stop for a drink.
What a gem in Eindhoven! Must visit, if you want to taste different kinds of beer brandy, rum, gin and liquor.

This is the place to eat in the centre of Eindhoven. So many options that look so good from many corners of the world. I chose the Turkish cuisine and I fell in love with the Kofta, it was grilled very well, seasoned to perfection and when I ate it I had a party in mouth. The grill dish I had was close to perfection on a plate. The people I came with chose different options, from the Vietnamese and Greek cuisine. I tried their dishes and they were also just amazing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to eat good food.
Amazing place with an unique ordering system. You can choose from many different restaurant all from one app. They bring the food when it is ready. So eating together might be difficult. But perfect for sharing dishes. The food goes from burgers to seafood and everything in between. When you are with a group this is perfect.
We ordered a few dishes from different spots, however because the ordering software didn’t work properly, we had to go to each stall one by one and order from each separately. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. The staff weren’t too helpful though.
Well, this is a place where you have a lot of different styles of food, all in one place: Greek, vietnamese, chineze, indian, Turkish, Italian, you name it. Spicy, non spicy. Sweet, sour. For sure you will find something of your own taste. I recommend Greek and vietnamese because we ate from these two, but I am sure all are very good. We went around 18.00 Wednesday and we had to wait for 10-15 minutes for a table to get free. You walk around, find a table and when you order mention the table number so they bring you order to your table when it is ready. For the drinks, you find the bar right in the middle. The pricess from 10 to 20 euros per person, depending on your appetite. Waiting time per order, around 5 minutes. As for desserts, you have lots to choose from: American/ normal pancakes, ice cream, waffle, etc. I strongly recommend this place as a nice experience.
Nice place where I go often. The one star is for the House of Dumplings. After 30 minutes since I had placed my order I decided to go check whether my order came through at all. When their employee saw me at the counter, he shouted that my food would be right there. But I kept waiting for him to ask, because I was genuinely wondering if the order had gone through at all, since my friends had already finished their food and I was still waiting. When he came back he asked me what I ordered and he said he’d bring it to me in a bit. Obviously I was already quite annoyed but I tried to be understanding, until my food arrived. Not only did it take him forever, the food was not even prepared the way it should be, the taste of the dish is in the dumpling combined with the lentil topping, but I received some dry mantu dumplings with almost no lentils on top, with one dumpling literally even having only 3 lentil pieces. It’s very unfortunate that not only did I wait long, but the service was horrible as well. The employee just running around in a stressful way, not asking me or acknowledging anything about the delay or whatsoever. My first and last time ordering from them.
Such a unique restaurant. You can sit at your table and scan the code on your table to order from multiple restaurants at once and they will bring the food to the table. So many different foods to choose from. Absolutely stunning 😍
A local friend of mine took me there for dinner. It's in the heart of Endhoven, just a few minutes from the train station. The place is huge and has a great variety of food from all over the world. I tried the Indian section. Everything is well organized, you order and pay through the scan code on the table. The food was delicious and the service was quick and excellent. The prices were great for the value. I highly recommend it since you can try everything there. Especially if you're out with a group of friends who have different tastes.
There are lots of food stalls, and you can get food from anywhere you like and sit at shared tables (pizza, Turkish cuisine, sushi, Indian food, Vietnamese food, burgers, and many other varieties). It's a great place to hang out with friends and have a beer, with a nice atmosphere, although it can be a bit crowded. Other than that, everything is really great.I really like it.🤗

The famous photo which comes up when you search for Eindhoven in Internet. Some large bowling pins connected in a nice manner. You can take some beautiful pictures here.
Art in the middle of a busy carriageway. Probably best experienced from the car as you leave Eindhoven.
A funny and very well made sculpture of bowling pins and ball in the ground. Pretty attractive.

This is a beautiful 10 lane 50 meter pool with an 8 lane 25 meter pool behind it. Plenty of seating for large events and a great, friendly, helpful staff. Our swim league (EFSL) rents this pool for our championship meet and have had nothing but great experiences! They’ve got a cafe and shop on site as well, as well as plenty of bathrooms and meeting rooms.
It used to be nice until they just had to ruin everything for people. You can’t have a pass anymore, now it’s become monthly subscriptions that make it way too expensive for swimming laps. Not worth paying €229 a year to be swimming with very limited time frames and in super overcrowded pools. Recreational swimming is not even an option anymore. There are no parking facilities in the place, you need to go walking like 10min. What a shame that something so nice for locals has been ruined.
I would highly recommend the National Swimming Center the Tongelreep for anyone looking for a place to take swimming lessons. The instructors, especially meneer Philip, meneer Renee and Juf Leticia, are incredibly patient and sincere, as are all the other instructors that we've interacted with. In just 5 months, I've seen my boys make huge progress in their swimming abilities. My oldest son started in the basic shallow pool and is now confidently swimming in a 2-meter depth pool. My younger son, who couldn't swim at all before, has made remarkable progress and is now confident and skilled in the pool. Going to the National Swimming Center the Tongelreep for swimming lessons is always a fun experience for my boys. The facilities are top-notch and up to good standards. I couldn't be happier with the quality of instruction and the progress that my boys have made. If you're looking for a great place for your kids to learn how to swim, I highly recommend giving this center a try.
For the first time in my life I am able to learn swimming. It was my childhood dream and now I am learning at 33 age. Very happy about my progress. Already completed my diploma A in 6 months and now training myself for next levels
The most beautiful pool that I have seen in Europa so far. SportstarZ is a very good camp. I recommend it for all kids who want to improve their technique.
Excellent swimming stadion. Good water quality, Olympic hall with training room, big pools and a modern building named after Pieter van de Hoogenband. The swimming hall is definitely one of the better ones in the Netherlands and is both great for professionals and amateurs.
I think this is the place I am most at after my own house. Looking forward for the end of the renovation

It is a return to the past with costumes, characters of their time, undoubtedly quite interactive for a history lesson for children, as well as adults who like history. It is a small well-kept village almost in the heart of Eindhoven. It has several activities for kids and adults, as well as a restaurant space. Well worth the visit.
Really enjoyed our day here. It was a damp morning so we couldn't do some of the activities but that didn't stop us from having a good time. Did lots of activities Inc bread making and medieval games. Cafe has really nice food and reasonably priced. Highly recommend for family's / kids.
This is a nice outdoor museum to spent some time if the weather is good. They have many workshop suitable for kids. Not that much things to enjoy if your choldren are little grown up.
What an absolutely amazing experience. I had no idea what to expect, and we were blown away. From employees who were so lovely and kind, explaining things patiently to the young ones, all speaking english fluently, to the attractions, simple old games that were so much fun that we decided to make a few in our garden. Such a beautiful, healthy place for kids to move away from technology for a day. We enjoyed all the attractions, drinks and food. And hope to be back there soon, with more family and staying longer.
Fun day for kids. It is small, taking around 2h to see it all. It includes diverse activities like: making your own bread, creating your jewellery with tools, games and other exhibitions. Included in the Museum card (free entrance). Otherwise, I'm not sure if it worths the money. Very friendly staff and natural environment. All in all, fun to go with kids. There are toilets and a place to buy food and drinks.
It’s a nice place for children and families to enjoy. For adults, the exhibits may feel a bit limited. If you have a museum card, it’s worth a visit, but without one it might not be the best value.
Nice for kids, it could take 6 hours or more to do / see all activities. The staff are very friendly.
It’s not an actual museum — it’s an old playground for kids aged 3 to 16. The whole place is designed like something out of the Middle Ages — kind of quirky, but fun.

I loved this park. It is huge. It have pool for small children from 2-5 years, it's from Monday - saturday but on Sunday we have to pay 1.5 euro person. It also have a ice cream and fries shop. My kid really enjoyed a lot at this park.
Great Spielplatz for kids, there are a lot of different areas that the kids can play on,with and in and there is a great grass area for picknicks
A day of and going with my children to Eindhoven. A nice place where the children can exprience a lot of joy. It has several spaces for children of different ages, my children don't get bored even after half a day playing here. Was a great day to stay Here with the Family.
A really lovely park. Children of all ages can enjoy it. In one part there are also goats, children like to pet them. Plenty of natural shade, so it's great for a picnic. Within the park you also have a small shop where you can buy toast sandwiches for €2.5, ice creams from €1.5-3, fruit (€1 each) and other snacks
Fabulous place to spend a very hot day! Great price, lots of shade, brilliant playgrounds and the water park is a bonus. #EuroTrip2025
Looking for a fun day out with your kids? Look no further than Speelpark De Splinter! And do you know when the best time to visit this awesome playground is? On their anniversary, of course! Trust me, you won't want to miss it. We were lucky enough to snag tickets to their 30th-anniversary celebration a few days before the event. Let me tell you, if you don't hurry, those tickets will sell out faster than hotcakes! But trust me, it's worth it. After all, this event only happens once a year. There are so many attractions to choose from at Speelpark De Splinter. You can ride horses and ponies, zoom down water slides from the top of Henry Dunant's garden hill, and even get a "tattoo" at the booth for kids. And that's just the beginning! There are also crafts to make, slides to try out, and bouncy houses galore. It's truly the best day ever for both kids and parents alike. We can't thank Speelpark De Splinter and their amazing team of volunteers enough. You guys are truly the best! Happy anniversary, and here's to many more years of making memories with our beloved children. We can't wait to come back next year!
A nice place where your children can exprience a lot of joy. It has several spaces for children of different ages, my children don't get bored even after half a day playing here.
A load of different playgrounds and even a pool. I would definitely recommend for anyone with young kids. You can also get ice creams at the shop

Great popup restaurant during Dutch Design week. Really loved the chicken! It is really hidden above the hotel with a rooftop terrace.
I have been staying at the hotel - bed is very comfortable, the design interesting (I loved the bathroom), unfortunately did not try the breakfast, but the buffet seemed to be rather limited when in comes to choices (but if the quality is good, that does not matter) - the shop is nice, but a bit packed (bring some time). I made a reservation for lunch, got the confirmation, but there was no place for me but to sit alone in the next room (so a lot of privacy but missing the vibes) - Jasmin Tea, Tomato Soup (the bread!!👌🏼) and the Bitterballen were very good but it took me some time to place my order, because it was very busy that day - still the staff was very friendly (my respect). 4 of 5 stars because it takes some time to get into the city center and I did not find some suitable connection I could take while carrying a heavy bag, also there is not really space to store your luggage … anyways it is a cool place and definitely an experience.
Nice design. Nice bed and bath tub. Last night me and my boyfriend spent one night there. However, the guest lady didn’t show us a good attitude, and we’ve left the message online about preparing wine in fridge. Apparently there wasn’t. We would like to see a better welcoming and friendly service.
Eccentric, but unforgettable pieces of artsy furniture! I went during the DDW when all the other artists' work was on display too!
The expo and the shop are stunning. The service is incredibly slow. Waited 40 minutes for this. Flavours were ok, but not up to the price we paid. Attention was quite bad.
Amazing design, prices overrated but the pieces are unique. On the rooftop you can find a pleasant terrace to drink a glass or eat something. The staff is really nice and welcoming. You can really spend the morning in the place, and you better plan it, since it’s not close to anything else. You need to go on purpose.
we have been there for the DDW: such a great experience!
Full of furniture Full of design Full of views to the fabric Absolutely nice

I will say it’s just amazing , visit during evening hours for best experience. You need to submit you bags , jackets etc so if possible carry lite to save time , you will be needing ID like passsport of residence card to have membership card. Live tables are generally operational from 7pm - 3am.
I wish I could give this negative stars. I also wish I read prior reviews about the rude, racist staff. I experienced first hand. We frequent the location in Amsterdam and spend thousands at the Viage in Brussels and Holland in Amsterdam. Tonight we had an incident at Eindhoven Holland that will cause me to never return here to Eindhoven--I will go to Viage in Brussels instead. I am hoping a manager emails or replies here. When you do I will give you my card number and you will see how much we frequent the casino. I would like to explain how your staff behaved. SAD this behavior seems to be routine based on the reviews.
Not a very friendly Casino. Besides the games being way to expensive, the staff was very rude. We will not be back. The only picture I took was in the toilet Lol
Quite a few racist individuals but one in particular makes no attempt to hide hers - that middle aged woman with burgundy highlights in her hair... Other than that, it's a quite chill place to socialise.
What? "You need a visa to get a card." ??? Hey, old man with white hair and slender woman with long ponytail, don't discriminate. Why are you asking for a visa number when someone who already got it wants to get a new one? I don't understand why you want to get unnecessary information because you already have my registration information of the lost my card. "Rule" is changed? My friends "get a card" after your work is finished. Don't talk rudely and don't talk to each other. I don't know what was going on, and it's really unpleasant.
Ample and luxurious space, very pleasant and well decorated. The food presentation is awesome and the taste is good.
Lekker this spot Eindhoven Holland casino favourite jackpot staffs all friendly and nice entertainment fun
Small casino with friendly staff. Unfortunately high parking fees and limit in tables for poker, Caribbean stud.
