Wonderful museum! I highly recommend; it has many interactions as well as statics and signs. Most signs are also in English in addition to the Dutch. We spent over two hours there and would have loved to have spent more time there!

A truly wonderful museum. There are lots of things to look at, but also to touch and try out. The staff are very helpful and explain things really well. One of the best museums to visit in Eindhoven. You get to see all kinds of Trucks (racing, heavy duty, military etc), car (vintage, racing, wagon etc) and trolley. I visited this museum during my stay in Eindhoven. It houses a vast collection of historic artifacts and provides extensive information about the Dutch Automobile Federation (DAF). The truck designs are impressive, but the cars are the most captivating aspect of the museum.

Great museum, there was much to see and to read; lots of information so you can spend easily a few hours of time there. There were very kind volunteers who explained everything thoroughly, and a charming cafetaria (the daffetaria) to have something to drink and to eat.

We went there thinking an hour is enough. But ended up staying for 2 hours. TONS of things to watch and experience, even have a couple computer simulation driving experience/game. You can sit inside a number of cars/trucks/busses so fun to take photos. They have a nice Cafe inside with delicious soup and pie. Street paid arking is available in the near by street. Great place to stop by for kids!!

A great museum to learn about history of Philips and its connection to Eindhoven region. I liked the history of lights part. For kids there is a nice workshop upstairs Recently they also have added a section on AI and its impact on society. However, what I expected that they would have wider samples from different Radio and Television and Tape recorders etc. from thier more than half a century history, but I was bit disappointed to see only a few. Nevertheless overall definitely worth a visit.

I didn’t expect a whole deal from this but was presently surprised, I had no idea the influence of this company- some really touching features. The cinema was nice to see the influence during the war. Cafe seemed reasonably priced- sadly no GF options. Also the free audio guide was a nice feature. A lot of interactive features

Kids workshop is a must do! Amazing to watch them creating objects with their own hands. And than they ad on motor and battery it so it starts to move! Kids where so focused, happy and proud at the and!

The exhibitions were very captivating and beautiful! What's more, they sell older issues of used magazines that are in good conditions for a very good price, 1-3€. They also have an amazing selection of postcards!

Nothing spectacular. The museum itself is nicely organized and decorated, but the exhibits are underwhelming. It mainly focuses on the exploitation of Indonesians by the Dutch, showcasing how industrialists used cheap labor. Other than that, there were videos that were uninteresting and looked unprofessional. The best feature was the images accompanied by scented papers, with the smells representing the atmosphere of each picture.

Somehow I wouldn’t go in there if I hadn’t a Ticket for the DDW . But I get suprised about the Architecture inside - like a 4 Floor Labyrinth… Kinda like it - next time I will spend more time!

I love this museum the curation is on point. I was very impressed not only with their selection of art, but also their attempt to stay ecologically friendly by locally souring the art supplies. And mostly for taking responsibility about how H van Abbe got rich on the tobacco industry regarding the Netherlands dark past in regard to indentured servitude and colonialism. Very thought provoking pieces and multicultural artist as well as young artist aswell! Not to mention how inclusive the museum is to wheelchairs, and including sensory version of art pieces! Bathrooms are non-gendered and clean 🎉

This place is the best museum I have ever been so far. I strongly recommend you to visit if you’re interested. A must see place for especially architects! The artwork appeals to the 5 senses of human body and tries to create new ones. I am not even talking about the location of the building where the water beats the exterior walls. Popped up glass niches coming out of interiors literally made my day :)

Really enjoyed our day here. It was a damp morning so we couldn't do some of the activities but that didn't stop us from having a good time. Did lots of activities Inc bread making and medieval games. Cafe has really nice food and reasonably priced. Highly recommend for family's / kids.

This is a nice outdoor museum to spent some time if the weather is good. They have many workshop suitable for kids. Not that much things to enjoy if your choldren are little grown up.

What an absolutely amazing experience. I had no idea what to expect, and we were blown away. From employees who were so lovely and kind, explaining things patiently to the young ones, all speaking english fluently, to the attractions, simple old games that were so much fun that we decided to make a few in our garden. Such a beautiful, healthy place for kids to move away from technology for a day. We enjoyed all the attractions, drinks and food. And hope to be back there soon, with more family and staying longer.

Fun day for kids. It is small, taking around 2h to see it all. It includes diverse activities like: making your own bread, creating your jewellery with tools, games and other exhibitions. Included in the Museum card (free entrance). Otherwise, I'm not sure if it worths the money. Very friendly staff and natural environment. All in all, fun to go with kids. There are toilets and a place to buy food and drinks.

One of the best stadium tours all day long. I have done Ajax, Man Utd, Spurs Chelsea, Arsenal and the mighty Norwich city. Especially when Walter is your tour guide, speaks good English aswell.

Such a beautiful church right in the middle of the city. I really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere inside — it’s nice to step away from the busy streets for a while. The stained glass and high ceilings are stunning, and I loved discovering the little archaeological displays under the glass floor. It’s free to go in, which is great, and there’s plenty of space to sit and just take it all in. I just wish there were a few more signs or explanations in English, but still, I’d definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in Eindhoven

Had a lovely lunch here! The Twaalf Uurkes Vlees was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the service was excellent. The only downside was the lack of disabled parking—only an electric car spot was available. I came with my grandmother, who can't walk far, and there was no parking nearby for her. Hope they improve this in the future!

Its a nice place to go especially with the kids.. the inside area is gezellik while the terrace is lovely in sunny days We had twaalf uurtjes vlees and vis.. both are nice... kids had pizza and tosti.. for kids the pizza is very salt except that minor gripe everything is good... If you’re looking for a little escape from the city, this café & restaurant is perfect. it’s right in town but has a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere with a large green area. We had an amazing time enjoying some beer with a snack platter and delicious desserts. I definitely recommend giving it a try! Bringing water for our dog was also such a sweet gesture.

Great place to go to entertain a toddler. Self service at the park and trampoline. The food isn’t the reason you come, but it will do the trick. They have a healthy option for kids with veggies which is a nice alternative to the usual chicken nuggets and fries.

Good atmosphere, very chill and relaxing restaurant with outdoor facilities which children would like. All our friends and kids enjoyed the time there. There weren’t a lot of options for food but overall I had a good dinner, their service was also very nice. The only down side is the parking spots were too limited. It’s a busy restaurant, make sure you book a table before you go.

The place is perfect for entertaining kids. The food however was very below par for the price. The pumpkin steak was just two slices which was partly cooked. The paviljoen burger was way over cooked and not so pleasant to eat.

We were hosted here for our company event and it was really nice! The food was great and the service was quick given the number of people we were. All-in-all a lovely 10/10 evening.

Probably one of the loveliest small museums out there, part of Eindhoven's truly brilliant mix of technology, innovation, art, parks and history. It's great, excellent fun and surrounded by yet another of those great Eindhoven green woodlands: right in the city!

A really lovely park. Children of all ages can enjoy it. In one part there are also goats, children like to pet them. Plenty of natural shade, so it's great for a picnic. Let me tell you, if you don't hurry, those tickets will sell out faster than hotcakes! But trust me, it's worth it. After all, this event only happens once a year. There are so many attractions to choose from at Speelpark De Splinter. You can ride horses and ponies, zoom down water slides from the top of Henry Dunant's garden hill, and even get a "tattoo" at the booth for kids. And that's just the beginning! There are also crafts to make, slides to try out, and bouncy houses galore. It's truly the best day ever for both kids and parents alike. It is a place with lots of birds, especially parrots, and in some places they are free and you can feed them. There are a lot of spaces for children to play and enjoy, a nice space to eat, and lots of pick nick tables and also other animals. It is perfect for a nice weather day.

Tickets are available online, and there's ample parking on site (5 euros). There are many animals at this zoo, but birds predominate, and you can feed them with seeds purchased on site. There are plenty of parrots, vultures, eagles, and falcons. We happened upon feeding time, which was an added attraction. I recommend it to both adults and children, who also enjoy the playground.

It's located in Piazza mall in the Center, though the google map had some difficulty finding the place! A very nice and friendly staff who speaks English really well. The activities are nice and interesting and it takes you maximum an hour to interact and enjoy the activities which surround you. The park is a beautiful spot in Eindhoven. Pieces of art here and there, lots of green shelters and even a bar, small pond with ducks and a couple of kinder friendly areas. It was a great weekend break for us to pop into the farm on our walk. We had the full experience of sunshine and fresh ice cream and watching little kids running around and having a glorious time interacting with all the animals.

One of the best steaks i have eaten. Compliments to the chef! You can select your beer from 100 different options. 🍻 Waiters were also the best ones that i have seen in Eindhoven, always listening, caring and fun to have conversation with.

Food was phenomenal. Staff were awesome. This was our third option for the night as the other 2 places were completely booked, however now knowing about Dommel, it would have been our first choice. Couldn’t have asked for better food or service.

Onion soup was pretty good, but it would be even more nice, if it was served in a classical way, in a pot with a baguette on top. T-bone steak was great, exactly medium rare, which I asked for, but a little bit too much oil, I would prefer less. My friend have taken burger, which he didn't like that much, saying it's an overprice, but I haven't tasted it, so be it.

I had the mixed grill to be able to try different things. They were all so delicious! Especially the ribs and the steak were cooked perfectly. Chicken was also very very tasty. Definitely worth the price.

I’ve loved this place for years. I hadn’t been there in a long time, so I decided to go back. Huge space inside, housed in a former Philips factory, and plenty of tables outside. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. The staff is quiet, but the service is quick. Prices are normal. I only took a few photos of all the dishes that we ordered.

Booked a graduation dinner for around 20 people here. Needed to change the reservation to accommodate 2 extra people and tried calling a week in advance 4 times. On the day off the reservation, we called and one of the managers picked up and said it was “impossible” to add 2 extra chairs to the table. We then said we would cancel the reservation and magically he was able to accommodate. How convenient :) . The dinner was quite nice and the food was good. The waiters did a great job accommodating our table. When it was time to pay. We wanted to split the bill evenly amongst 5 families. Just divide the total amount by the amount of people and pay. The same manager who magically summoned 2 tables said it was “also impossible” to split the bill and we should’ve “warned him in advance”. Guess he didn’t bring his calculator that night. Anyways, we had a good time celebrating and the waiters did a perfect job but the manager that night needs to get off his high horse and maybe take a long holiday.

Visited this place for dinner with friends on 28/08. The staff is lovely and they are attentive. The cocktail I had was quite nice too. It was not very busy but there were one or two big groups there. I ordered the grilled Tuna and my friends got a vegan burger and pasta. Out of the three plates only the pasta was warm. My fish though seasoned nicely was cold, not even a little bit warm. Same with the burger. The fries were hot and the pasta warm. We assume that the two plates of food probably cooled down while the pasta and the accompanying potatoes were being cooked. In which case, I don’t know why they weren’t kept warm while waiting. It is a pity because I was really looking forward to my food. What could have been a 10/10 experience was just average.

Been here 4 times in the past 1-2 months. Food is fine, but you have to be patient before it is served. Service, depends on the person, I had bad luck, most of them don't know how to smile and be friendly. It's like observing a funeral from a distance AND close. Location and atmosphere of the restaurant is decent, but the people there ruin it in a very good way with the absence of enthusiasm and smile. I try my utmost best not to come here anymore.

The food options are great, including for vegetarians. Service and ambience were also nice. I had made a reservation for a birthday and specifically requested table decorations to make it festive. I even confirmed the details and pricing over a phone call with a staff member. However, when we arrived, the table wasn’t decorated. The staff acknowledged the request but said they had forgotten. It was disappointing, especially since it was meant to be a surprise for my family. Next time, I’ll be sure to double-check closer to the date.

I booked a concert /show here. During entrance they handed me a 'drink token'. However, when I want to use it then they said that it was only for the 'glass' and we still need to pay for the drink. Why to do drama around the token then,

I really like it when a venue is small like this, it adds to the vibe. There's a small upstairs area, bar staff was friendly and they sell earplugs for €1; not the best quality but it's great when the sound tech of your band tries to blast the roof off with how loud it was. Seriously, seeing him mix without any kind of ear protection things started to make sense to me. Guy hasn't heard a thing at speaking volume since the 80's. But that's not on the Effenaar, and always bring your earplugs to concerts.

Great venue, nice music, even free nearby parking after 2100. Why four stars: Was expecting a (free) wardrobe but instead they rent out small lockers for 3.50 euro. Think the price is too steep and winter coats will definitely not fit 2 per locker like they advertise... Seems like a quick way to make a buck. There was plenty of personnel and it's not like there are thousands of people inside, so why not have a regular wardrobe like most concert venues?

The price is somewhat steep as some areas are littered with sigarettes and twigs. You have to demand your corona space yourself as more and more people get closer and closer during the day. Quite some shady spots. Toilet did not have soap from 10 to 13h on a Sunday. Toilets are cleaned several times. Food, drinks and icecream is sold on site. Plenty of parking space. Prices are fixed for full days only. Some lifeguards are present but do not rely on their attention.

I liked this place. It's free. It's fun and well done. Anyone who is a Python fan will love it, anyone who isn't will find it amusing. Also loads of other street art close by.

The Silly Walk tunnel by the amazing duo @studiogifting, was, in 2016, the first mural of the 'Tunnelvision Project' , part of the #smilefactor, in Eindhoven. Since then, about 49 tunnels (formerly known as grey and dark) have been transformed into a bright, beautiful and cool collection of street art. 🙌 Gret project, great mural and I love the colorful lighting 😍

What can i say, its a train station where trains go and come to. NS is really the best which is also why there are alot of strikes going on. NS #No Service

The Dutch are crazy. To get from the front of this station (where my hotel is) to the rear (where the super expensive 24 hour parking garage is), you have to have a travel ticket - OR walk eight minutes all around the station the wide way. Straight through would take 30 seconds off out was allowed. There’s no-one to ask questions of. Late at night, there were aggressive drunks outside. And the route from front to back takes you through a desolate dark tunnel. They do not care about people here.

Buses seem to not have a fixed time, sometimes the come on time sometimes they don't at all! And I have to wait 30 minutes for the next one hoping this one would show, then run back and forth to where the bus schedule is posted which is nowhere near where the buses are. They don't even announce which poor the bus we'll be in I'm just running back and forth hoping to catch a bus!

A good station, but there's no passing through unless you buy a ticket. Big cycling park around it.

Train station right in the city center and well connected. All shopping and eating places are in walking distance.

Major railway station in Eindhoven. We have another smaller station too. You can take trains literally to anywhere in the country from here. There are few ticketing machines too although most people use chip cards now a days.

We've had great fun in this indoors mini-golf course! There is online booking so that you can chose your time slot, however you cannot tell how big the group in front of you is or how slow it might be. Even though waiting didn't ruin my experience since I'm not a pro at this sport, what I think is lacking is temperature control. We visited in early July and the room was too hot!

This was honestly a fun experience. It was my first time playing golf and this setting of playing was very interesting and trippy. You can also get an added 3D glasses, haha. There were around 18 different sets, and all were quite unique. You can come here with literally anyone, be it be friends or family and you would surely have a great time here. You can also have food and drinks as well so it’s quite a combo. :)

I was afraid the venue might be a bit too childish for a group of people in their 20s but I was pleased to be proven wrong. The entrance area is filled with lifesize comic book character statues, there's a small arcade, everything is glowing (not just the golf good course) and the staff was very kind helpful. We first did an escape room which turned out to be quite a challenge and definitely made us sweat as we got down to the last 10 mins before completing it. Big recommendation for that. The glow golf course was very fun. It had a beautiful esthetic and made me feel like I was in a retro video game with bright colors and unique props. The course itself was relatively easy, with the big focus being on actually doing each hole in the fewest amount of strokes as opposed to making sure you get in the hole at all. None of the holes felt "impossible" or "unfair" which I'd say is a good way to keep things accessible for kids while keeping a nice competitive nature present for adults. Prices were fair as well, the escape room was a little over 20 euro's but I have to say it was more than worth it for the experience. Glow golf was only 6 euros if I remember correctly (Prices may have changed by now) and at that price I'd say it's also fair and worth it.

Nice experience for a date or with your kids. The option to buy extra 3d glasses makes everything very trippy. The courses are nice, but not very interactive. Also the black surface makes it very hard to see what is going on with your golf stick, but maybe that's just part of it. Best experience can be achieved off your entire party is dressed in neon colors and white!

Great pancakes in the Eindhoven area. Been going there for years. Really commending also the nojito as alcohol free drink. Great place for kids too, with playground and even indoor space for playing.

I’ve been coming here for around 6 years and have always appreciated the good food and the lovely orchard setting. Unfortunately, my most recent experience left me quite disappointed, not because of the food, but because of the way the situation was handled. I had made a reservation for a large group with very young children (6 weeks, 1 year, and 2 years old). When I called ahead, I specifically asked how the headcount was calculated. I was told only adults were counted. I also informed them that we would need baby seats and space for strollers. Based on that, I booked accordingly. To my surprise, when we arrived, the staff counted the children as part of the total and had only set up 8 seats instead of what we actually needed. This left us squeezed into a very tight space with two baby chairs and a stroller, which was uncomfortable. When I tried to explain the misunderstanding, the attitude I received felt dismissive, almost as if we should just “make do” rather than being offered a solution. What made matters worse was that, while we were still trying to adjust and resolve the situation, a server came over and bluntly reminded us that we only had the table for two hours, telling us to “order quickly.” Considering a few of our group members were delayed due to road closures, this came across as insensitive and unwelcoming. I completely understand that it is a busy place. But this is the hospitality industry... people come not only for good food, but also for warmth, care, and thoughtful service. Being busy cannot be an excuse for unclear communication and dismissive behavior. This is a place I’ve enjoyed in the past and still believe has a lot to offer. But I sincerely hope they improve their communication and approach to hospitality, especially when families with small children are involved.

One of the oldest in Eindhoven. One can sit outside or inside there are seats around the counter. Different options for drink based on your choice. One of the place where I have visited several times with colleagues and friends. This is right opposite to Vapiano, near to the church. A friendly host and a good selection of drinks. Many locals visit this place. Casual atmosphere with a small screen to watch the sport or listen to good selections of background music.

Great bar spent the Saturday night there with Forest Lads. Bar service fast. And good atmosphere. Thanks again.

A true Dutch original pub, situated in the center of Eindhoven. Great music, great atmosphere and real cosy. Cosy because it is one of the smallest Eindhoven pubs around. The have a range of local draft beers available and of course loads of spirits. The staff is a true fan of making fans, just have a chat or connect with the locals. And for now: cheers 🍻

Great place . Many great offices. Philips is one of them . Easy to reach through buses . Place with natural place like Lake. There is food street also which have some decent food options. People usually went for a walk after lunch. Campus is secured with all means to make it secure and safe .

This is the Silicon Valley of the Netherlands, where high tech companies and startups are concentrating to do research and development. They do a good job of creating a green environment that nurtures the Innovation and creativity. It is very green with lots of trees. However, I personally think they can make it more attractive and more beautiful. In the heart of high tech campus, there are a lot of small restaurants. You can find Japanese food, Indian food as well as Subway and Dutch typical cafeteria. It is more of an Industrial complex with the focus of Innovation and high tech. I hope they do more activities that encourage interaction between companies, startups and public.

A good blend of product, service and manufacturing companies. Decent incubation center for startups. Nice campus with all amenities closer to the high way. Post lunch walks are famous here 😃

Station by itself is well maintained and easy to navigate through. But, the bus stop region outside the Centraal Station needs some smoker's zone. Otherwise, it Is too many people smoking everywhere and not easy for non-smokers.... Some action needed here...

Worst bus station. You have no idea where the bus will stop. You then have to run from one corner of the station to the next. The panel that shows which bus stop, the busses will stop are completely arbitrary and useless. I understand that because the busses are delayed, chaos ensues and they use whatever stop is available. But this makes everything 10 times worse. I would rather have the busses leave couple minutes late but become predictable. Probably, the people who designed the bus stop never used it.

Big, noisy, a bit dirty. Not a lot of information boards around. You need to usually walk to the middle of the stattion. Train information is displayed clearly once at the train platform. Bad side: If you want to cross from the taxi" side to the bus" side, you need to cross through the station. Wont allow you to access unless you have a valid ticket to travel. The alternative is to use your debit card, but watch out that after an hour, if you did not exit, you will charge. This system is actually bad because if you just want to use a coffee shop or restaurant located inside, you only get one hour to drink your coffee or have a meal. The system, for a Dutch organization, is a very bad design: you are paying to enter a building to pay for a coffee or meal! It should be that you should pay only if you use the train, right? Si tickets readers should be on the train rails (plan A) or tickets readers should have no barriers (people can come in and out without a ticket) and only those travelling should/must present their tickets ( plan B), as it is in many other train stations in the NL. Bathrooms at the station are paid bathrooms, which is fair. The bus section of the station works well. Friendly personnel with not visible police around (for such a big station, an officer, or two would be great there).

Busy place to find buses to travel in Eindhoven. Buses usually come on time here. Just adjacent to Eindhoven train station. Always good to have OV card for hassle free traif you need to commute regularly.

Busy as it gets, but you can easily get to where you need to be. The shuttle bus to the airport runs very often, every 10-15 min and there are two buses (400 & 401). If you don't have a ticket just simply use your credit card for validation, it works perfectly.

It's not a library; it's more like a meeting point for mothers with children who are running and screaming around. A second problem is the cafeteria; there is a lot of noise from spoons, glasses, and dishes. A coffee machine would be much quieter. It's a public library, not a coffee shop or kindergarten. The rest is fine: plenty of space, tables, and access to electricity.

The library has its strengths, particularly for families and kids, as it offers plenty of area. However, it doesn't cater to everyone. For those who simply want a quiet space to read or study, this library falls short. It feels more like a community center with books inside. While it serves a specific group well (like families, people who love chatting) it lacks inclusivity for individuals seeking silence and calm or simply wish not to be bothered by crowd/noise. A library should balance being a community hub with providing an environment for all but you don't belong there if you just seek for a space of silence.

The building & architecture is nice, but the functional design of the interior is disappointing, specially because the coffee area is in the middle of the library. It becomes very noisy and, as someone said, people behave as if they were in a mall. For unknown reasons some areas of the library are closed even though the place is busy. The opening hours are very narrow for a library in a university city (everyday opens at 10:00, closes at 17:00 on weekends?) and the toilets are paid. As someone else said, where is the tax-payer money going to if not to the only public library in the city?

A great place for children and having a coffee, I love that you can take children books in many other languages than dutch.

Not a big fan. I have tried to go with my toddler and baby a few times. It is difficult to access the library. It’s above ground, so you need to take a small elevator up which is shared with the students of the college. So if you have a stroller or any accessibility demands you could end up waiting for an elevator for a small amount of time. Then once in the library, the layout is just odd. Most of the activity is at the back of the library. This includes an activity room, coffee cafe and “children’s area”. The children area is not at all boxed in or secluded so you have to constantly chase your kid around so they don’t mess with the book shelves (of young adult or teen books…they arent even shelves of children books…) or disrupt anyone at the cafe. They can’t just simply play with other kids or read books. It is also very loud due to the cafe noise. My final complaint would be that, with the exception of 1 child size toilet (probably need more….anyone who knows toddlers and children, they cant “wait” sometimes especially in potty training) the adult toilets cost money to enter through a turnstile. So good luck if you’re an adult who needs to use the bathroom…..it’s very unwelcoming for a public library. I would suggest to anyone living in or around Eindhoven to check out Bibliotheek Best. That’s where I choose to take my kids and in my opinion, it’s much better for kids and it’s much quieter and accessible. *note: bibliotheek Best and Eindhoven are both similar distances for my family to get to. I understand that isnt the case for everyone*

I had a wonderful time here. The location is excellent, easy to reach, and adds to the charm of the visit. The host was a really kind and welcoming person, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I truly appreciated the warm service and the unique atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Never been before in an hostel bad like this. I was with my girlfriend and we have pay 45 € for one night in a double room. The room was horrible, ugly and very very dirty. The floor was full of dead bugs, the blanquets smells like smoke and the bathroom wasn’t clean. There was used food in the fridge, and there was dust everywhere. The photo of the hostel show the small white house, but it’s a trap: the rooms are in the side of the white house, in a very creepy plastic cube. The owner pretend only cash immediately, he does’t want card payment. For your safety, stay away from that horrible place

PLEASE DON’T GO! I’ve been travelling sleeping in hostels for 20 years and this has been one of worst solution ever. The hostel is composed by an old white house and two awfull containers: my boy-friend and I stayed in a double room inside one of that containers. The price was surely very cheap (around 50€) but PLEASE: cleaning is the less you have to do for your hosts! Dust, insects laying dead on the floor, dirty kitchen and bathroom , blanquets that smelled of smoke, with someone else’s hair attached: it seemed like the room had been closed for a year and they opened it just for us, killing the mosquitos with spray, laying them down on the floor, without cleaning anything. That night we managed to sleep because we’re easy people but someone else would have run away!

Midnight. I'm freezing near the Eindhoven trainstation. I missed my flight. The first hostel I see in google is this one. I call and this very rude man picks up the phone and starts giving me life lessons about booking and not calling this late to bother him and then hangs up. Dutch hospitality, I guess...

Our happiest stay in Holland. Great vibe! Welcoming hosts! The exhibition is a must see and Martin is a must hear.

Fantastic staff that makes you feel at home. They have professionals for almost every art field. We took a reopening tour and loved every bit of it. Music for children, cultural classes, dance, theater, art research, yoga, you name it. It was a very pleasant experience.

Very bad course administration. The school cares more about money than the education of students. The tuition is charged in advance, but you won't have an overview of the total amount of lessons you have. If you miss lessons due to sickness, you won't get any refund and are not allowed to take the lessons at a later date.

I can't say anything about the teacher but I wasn't happy to spent money and time on a trail lesson only to find out there is no spot available for my daughters piano lesson. The teacher thought it was too late to let us know one day in advance which is a hard to believe reason.....

Piet Hein Eek is famous but you might not now this area in Eindhoven. It’s not only a hotel but also a restaurant, shop, atelier and more. A very nice vibing area hidden in plain sight. I recommend this restaurant. We went here for breakfast and it’s amazing. Why not 5*? I’m missing more vegan options but still overall very good. Service is great, friendly staff and helpful. The food / buffet is good. Fresh and you get what you expect. Freshly made toast, eggs and juices. The location is not too big but great. Nice vibe and good atmosphere. Seats are great too and also there are child seats. Prices are normal and not too high.

We had a chef’s tasting menu tonight and it most definitely deserves an all 5 star rating! There is a lot of care and thought given to the ingredients (all locally sourced) and the service as well. Never had vegetables this delicious, like the fermented tomato soup and smoky charred Brussels sprouts, so any vegetable based dish is recommended. Also, the interior is very cosy and such a hidden gem in Eindhoven!

A friend introduced me to this wonderful chilled out place. It has a fantastic relaxed atmosphere and the terrace is a great spot for a morning coffee or afternoon cocktail.
