The Philips Museum in Eindhoven is a brand museum showcasing the products and developments of Philips in various fields such as music, lighting, health, and communications. The museum offers insights into the impact of Philips on the urban development of Eindhoven, transforming it from a small market town to a vibrant city with new industrial zones and working-class districts. It provides visitors with an appreciation of how Philips has shaped the city's landscape.
Great museum for people who love technology and science behind it! I was fully invested, I liked it a lot. It took me 2,5 hours (I was exploring and reading literally everything).
Cutee C — Google review
A great museum in the center of Eindhoven! It's exciting to watch a 130 year technology revolution in your native language! On the other hand, the museum was smaller than I expected. I see the brilliance of historical processes in a better interactive way. But I still recommend it…
Serkan K — Google review
A great museum to learn about history of Philips and its connection to Eindhoven region. I liked the history of lights part. For kids there is a nice workshop upstairs Recently they also have added a section on AI and its impact on society. However, what I expected that they would have wider samples from different Radio and Television and Tape recorders etc. from thier more than half a century history, but I was bit disappointed to see only a few. Nevertheless overall definitely worth a visit.
Nirupam B — Google review
I didn’t expect a whole deal from this but was presently surprised, I had no idea the influence of this company- some really touching features. The cinema was nice to see the influence during the war. Cafe seemed reasonably priced- sadly no GF options. Also the free audio guide was a nice feature. A lot of interactive features
Katie P — Google review
Nice museum. Not very big. The history part Was Great. A little selection of philips products on display
Geir R — Google review
The museum is definitely a great surprise! Rather than a straightforward exhibition with boring facts, the Phillips museum is like a time machine, which helps you look into the lives of the past couple of generations, how their lives got changed because of electricity and Philips, and how they also shape the future.
Георги Д — Google review
Kids workshop is a must do! Amazing to watch them creating objects with their own hands. And than they ad on motor and battery it so it starts to move! Kids where so focused, happy and proud at the and!

Modern art museum
Located in the Stratumseind district of Eindhoven, the Van Abbemuseum is a renowned institution for modern and contemporary art. Since its establishment in 1936, it has undergone significant renovations, including a futuristic extension surrounded by a moat. The museum's extensive collection features works by prominent artists such as Picasso, Mondrian, Chagall, and El Lissitzky. Visitors can explore a diverse range of contemporary art from both Dutch and international artists through ever-changing temporary exhibitions.
It’s a very nice museum. It’s mainly focused on abstract art, which I usually dislike a lot, but many parts of the exhibition took me by heart. The architecture of the building is also amazing, with nice balconies to observe the river. In some places, you can see 4-5 floors below, which is not the best option if you’re afraid of heights. This is the most memorable museum when it comes to feelings that it provoked.
Георги Д — Google review
A compact but world-class spot for modern and contemporary art. I spent just over an hour with the “Hidden Connections” exhibition—sharp curatorial storytelling and clear English labels—then cooled off in the quiet atrium café. Friendly staff, lockers for backpacks, and plenty of seating make it an easy yes if you’re in Eindhoven.
Sasha M — Google review
The exhibitions were very captivating and beautiful! What's more, they sell older issues of used magazines that are in good conditions for a very good price, 1-3€. They also have an amazing selection of postcards!
Boglárka J — Google review
Take time to visit museum of strait simple Holland design and art Tickets on Sunday are €16.00 and thy have lockers Museum is such beautiful architecture of old and new combination with surroundings river and plants
Nenad N — Google review
Nothing spectacular. The museum itself is nicely organized and decorated, but the exhibits are underwhelming. It mainly focuses on the exploitation of Indonesians by the Dutch, showcasing how industrialists used cheap labor. Other than that, there were videos that were uninteresting and looked unprofessional. The best feature was the images accompanied by scented papers, with the smells representing the atmosphere of each picture.
Marko H — Google review
Somehow I wouldn’t go in there if I hadn’t a Ticket for the DDW . But I get suprised about the Architecture inside - like a 4 Floor Labyrinth… Kinda like it - next time I will spend more time!
Der K — Google review
I love this museum the curation is on point. I was very impressed not only with their selection of art, but also their attempt to stay ecologically friendly by locally souring the art supplies. And mostly for taking responsibility about how H van Abbe got rich on the tobacco industry regarding the Netherlands dark past in regard to indentured servitude and colonialism. Very thought provoking pieces and multicultural artist as well as young artist aswell! Not to mention how inclusive the museum is to wheelchairs, and including sensory version of art pieces! Bathrooms are non-gendered and clean 🎉
Alex B — Google review
This place is the best museum I have ever been so far. I strongly recommend you to visit if you’re interested. A must see place for especially architects! The artwork appeals to the 5 senses of human body and tries to create new ones. I am not even talking about the location of the building where the water beats the exterior walls. Popped up glass niches coming out of interiors literally made my day :)

The DAF Museum in Eindhoven is a tribute to the renowned Dutch manufacturer, showcasing an array of trucks, rare production vehicles, and prototypes. Founded in 1928 by the Van Doornes brothers, the museum delves into the company's history and its evolution over time. Visitors can explore a reconstruction of the 1930s era, featuring the factory, office of the Van Doren brothers, neighboring shops, pub, and vintage garage.
Really cool museum. Not very big, still a great collection of classic and modern vehicles. From tanks, fireman trucks, trucks and more. The kids love it because they can go inside of them and "play and drive". You can eat in the restaurant. There are clean toilets and a wardrobe. The different ambients are super well done. It is included in the museum card. Commuting by car with external paid parking, bus stops nearby or by foot.
ALMUDENA S — Google review
Wonderful museum! I highly recommend; it has many interactions as well as statics and signs. Most signs are also in English in addition to the Dutch. We spent over two hours there and would have loved to have spent more time there!
Kristen R — Google review
A truly wonderful museum. There are lots of things to look at, but also to touch and try out. The staff are very helpful and explain things really well. There are even driving simulators so you can experience what it feels like to drive a truck. I highly recommend a visit here. Thank you for having me as your guest.
Michael B — Google review
One of the best museums to visit in Eindhoven. You get to see all kinds of Trucks (racing, heavy duty, military etc), car (vintage, racing, wagon etc) and trolley. The museum is well maintained preserving the minute details. Information is provided for each of the vehicle. Great place to visit alone or with friends. Must visit once.
Nirav B — Google review
A place to experience and enjoy if you are into cars and trucks. Many old models of cars and trucks are on display. They have English translation available im the description boards for international audience.
Nirupam B — Google review
I visited this museum during my stay in Eindhoven. It houses a vast collection of historic artifacts and provides extensive information about the Dutch Automobile Federation (DAF). The truck designs are impressive, but the cars are the most captivating aspect of the museum.
Mak ! — Google review
We went there thinking an hour is enough. But ended up staying for 2 hours. TONS of things to watch and experience, even have a couple computer simulation driving experience/game. You can sit inside a number of cars/trucks/busses so fun to take photos. They have a nice Cafe inside with delicious soup and pie. Street paid arking is available in the near by street. Great place to stop by for kids!!

St. Catherine's Church, also known as St. Catharinakerk, is a stunning Neo-Gothic Catholic church completed in 1867. The original structure was dedicated to St. Catherine of Alexandria and dates back to the 13th century but underwent severe damage from wars and fires over the years. Restored to its former glory, the current building incorporates symbolic references and features two towers representing the purity of Mary and the strength of David.
St. Catherine's Church, a magnificent building with a rich history, boasts a unique story encompassing fires, wars, and even a period of use as a stable. Its Gothic design is superb. Interestingly, archaeological excavations uncovered approximately 1000 skeletons within the church grounds.
Panos M — Google review
Such a beautiful church right in the middle of the city. I really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere inside — it’s nice to step away from the busy streets for a while. The stained glass and high ceilings are stunning, and I loved discovering the little archaeological displays under the glass floor. It’s free to go in, which is great, and there’s plenty of space to sit and just take it all in. I just wish there were a few more signs or explanations in English, but still, I’d definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in Eindhoven

St. Catherine’s Church tells a unique story. Wars, fires, and even a time when it was used as a stable are part of its journey. This neo-Gothic structure dates back to 1867, but its roots lie in the 11th century. Are any of you budding archaeologists? Here’s some info that might interest you: during its renovation in 2005, archaeologists discovered around 1,000 skeletons on the church grounds, dating back to 1200–1850.

Bottle Distillery, located in Eindhoven, is a unique and fascinating distillery that produces handmade gin, rum, vodka, and various liqueurs. The tasting room and bar offer delicious drinks and fantastic food in a relaxed setting. Visitors can also take part in guided tours to learn about the production process of these alcoholic beverages. Housed in the last textile factory in Eindhoven, this family-run brewery aims to preserve history while staying current with its products.
A random stop to kill some time turned into an amazing experience. We sat upstairs in the bar for about an hour, having a few drinks and talking the only other gentleman in the building, which, luckily enough, he was out bartender. Behind the bar is well organized with an open, decluttered feeling. The distillery is in the more industrial area of the city, but I can't wait to come back in a few years and see how it's grown.

I had an incredible experience at Bottle Distillery in Eindhoven. This distillery truly stands out with their impressive selection of house-made gin, rum, vodka, and beer brandy. The highlight was being able to sample a variety of their creations, allowing me to explore and appreciate their craft. The addition of a cozy café located behind the distillery added to the overall charm of the place. The staff were not only knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly, making the visit all the more enjoyable. If you're looking for a unique and engaging distillery experience with a warm atmosphere, Bottle Distillery is a must-visit!

Highly recommend visiting. We were shown round by Mark who started the business with his wife, following a trip a distillery in the US. He was incredibly informative and friendly, we also were able to taste three of their products and more if we wanted. There’s a great outdoor seating area also and the food looked great! Thank you Mark!

This has been the best gin I have ever tried!! The place is unbelievably cosy, smooth music and really nice gin. They have various gin combinations and the price is decent compared to different places. It's a hidden gem and more people should visit it. It is worth visiting, it is officially on my top list in Eindhoven!!!

Visited the Bottle Distillery for a tour+tasting+making gin workshop hosted by Lotte and I can highly recommend it as a boozy group activity. Lotte was very informative and chatty and I actually learnt more than I expected about making gin! They have a lovely bar/cafe and little shop so not only did I come home with a 250ml of diy gin but also a bottle of limoncello 🤤

Motion Imagination Experience is a small interactive museum located in Piazza mall. The staff is friendly and the activities are interesting, allowing visitors to interact with their surroundings. It offers various light installations, a 4D show, and more. Although it could have more potential with additional features, it's a fun place to spend about an hour taking part in the activities and capturing great photos. There's also a clean cafeteria available for visitors to enjoy.

We purchased our tickets online, which made the check-in process quick and easy—no waiting, except for one customer ahead of us buying snacks. My girlfriend and I chose the package deal that included the photo experience, and it was definitely worth it. We spent about two hours inside and had a lot of fun exploring everything. One thing that could be improved is supervision—there were quite a few kids running around without much control, which made it a bit challenging at times, especially when trying to take photos. However, the staff more than made up for it. They were friendly, helpful, and made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. Overall, a fun and memorable visit with great service. Would recommend!

It's located in Piazza mall in the Center, though the google map had some difficulty finding the place! A very nice and friendly staff who speaks English really well. The activities are nice and interesting and it takes you maximum an hour to interact and enjoy the activities which surround you. Tickets could be cheaper or activities could be more for what they charge us, and this is the reason I give your star+ there was no one at the bar when we wanted to drink something. Thanks team Motion imagination

Stadswandelpark, located a few kilometers south of Eindhoven's city center, is a popular urban park known for its open grassy areas, winding paths around ponds, and a charming sculpture garden. It offers tranquil spaces with plenty of benches and meadows for relaxation. The park features stunning landscaped gardens, spacious lawns, picturesque water features, and hidden pathways to explore between the trees.
A very beautiful and relaxing park. Situated a few minutes from the city center, this is one of the larger parks you can find in Eindhoven. It's super relaxing and really quiet (sometimes too quiet). We just walked around and enjoyed the sculptures that are spread out around. I definitely recommend visiting the park if you're looking for a run, a walk, or just enjoying nature in the heart of the city.
Liviu-Cristian M — Google review
The park is a beautiful spot in Eindhoven. Pieces of art here and there, lots of green shelters and even a bar, small pond with ducks and a couple of kinder friendly areas. Said this, looks like the townhall has not been paying too much attention here cause it starts looking a bit crappy and perhaps something could be done to make it look prettier

Downtown Gourmet Market is a trendy food market that offers a wide range of international cuisines and bars, along with both indoor and outdoor seating. It's a great spot for food enthusiasts looking to sample diverse dishes from around the world, reminiscent of street food experiences in Camden and Shoreditch. Whether you're craving Vietnamese pho and bao buns or Spanish tapas, this market has it all.
This is the place to eat in the centre of Eindhoven. So many options that look so good from many corners of the world. I chose the Turkish cuisine and I fell in love with the Kofta, it was grilled very well, seasoned to perfection and when I ate it I had a party in mouth. The grill dish I had was close to perfection on a plate. The people I came with chose different options, from the Vietnamese and Greek cuisine. I tried their dishes and they were also just amazing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to eat good food.

Amazing place with an unique ordering system. You can choose from many different restaurant all from one app. They bring the food when it is ready. So eating together might be difficult. But perfect for sharing dishes. The food goes from burgers to seafood and everything in between. When you are with a group this is perfect.

We ordered a few dishes from different spots, however because the ordering software didn’t work properly, we had to go to each stall one by one and order from each separately. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. The staff weren’t too helpful though.
Bora O — Google review
Well, this is a place where you have a lot of different styles of food, all in one place: Greek, vietnamese, chineze, indian, Turkish, Italian, you name it. Spicy, non spicy. Sweet, sour. For sure you will find something of your own taste. I recommend Greek and vietnamese because we ate from these two, but I am sure all are very good. We went around 18.00 Wednesday and we had to wait for 10-15 minutes for a table to get free. You walk around, find a table and when you order mention the table number so they bring you order to your table when it is ready. For the drinks, you find the bar right in the middle. The pricess from 10 to 20 euros per person, depending on your appetite. Waiting time per order, around 5 minutes. As for desserts, you have lots to choose from: American/ normal pancakes, ice cream, waffle, etc. I strongly recommend this place as a nice experience.
Cristian B — Google review
Nice place where I go often. The one star is for the House of Dumplings. After 30 minutes since I had placed my order I decided to go check whether my order came through at all. When their employee saw me at the counter, he shouted that my food would be right there. But I kept waiting for him to ask, because I was genuinely wondering if the order had gone through at all, since my friends had already finished their food and I was still waiting. When he came back he asked me what I ordered and he said he’d bring it to me in a bit. Obviously I was already quite annoyed but I tried to be understanding, until my food arrived. Not only did it take him forever, the food was not even prepared the way it should be, the taste of the dish is in the dumpling combined with the lentil topping, but I received some dry mantu dumplings with almost no lentils on top, with one dumpling literally even having only 3 lentil pieces. It’s very unfortunate that not only did I wait long, but the service was horrible as well. The employee just running around in a stressful way, not asking me or acknowledging anything about the delay or whatsoever. My first and last time ordering from them.
Mora J — Google review
Such a unique restaurant. You can sit at your table and scan the code on your table to order from multiple restaurants at once and they will bring the food to the table. So many different foods to choose from. Absolutely stunning 😍
Kotie G — Google review
A local friend of mine took me there for dinner. It's in the heart of Endhoven, just a few minutes from the train station. The place is huge and has a great variety of food from all over the world. I tried the Indian section. Everything is well organized, you order and pay through the scan code on the table. The food was delicious and the service was quick and excellent. The prices were great for the value. I highly recommend it since you can try everything there. Especially if you're out with a group of friends who have different tastes.
YAFEA A — Google review
There are lots of food stalls, and you can get food from anywhere you like and sit at shared tables (pizza, Turkish cuisine, sushi, Indian food, Vietnamese food, burgers, and many other varieties). It's a great place to hang out with friends and have a beer, with a nice atmosphere, although it can be a bit crowded. Other than that, everything is really great.I really like it.🤗

PreHistorisch Dorp, also known as prehistoric village, is a unique theme park offering visitors an immersive experience of early human civilization. Located in Eindhoven, it serves as a museum dedicated to the rural history of the city by replicating villages from six different historical periods. Visitors can witness and participate in farm work, hunting techniques, and daily village life activities recreated by real people. The park also features dramatic presentations at different time slots and has an on-site eatery.
It is a return to the past with costumes, characters of their time, undoubtedly quite interactive for a history lesson for children, as well as adults who like history. It is a small well-kept village almost in the heart of Eindhoven. It has several activities for kids and adults, as well as a restaurant space. Well worth the visit.

What an absolutely amazing experience. I had no idea what to expect, and we were blown away. From employees who were so lovely and kind, explaining things patiently to the young ones, all speaking english fluently, to the attractions, simple old games that were so much fun that we decided to make a few in our garden. Such a beautiful, healthy place for kids to move away from technology for a day. We enjoyed all the attractions, drinks and food. And hope to be back there soon, with more family and staying longer.

Fun day for kids. It is small, taking around 2h to see it all. It includes diverse activities like: making your own bread, creating your jewellery with tools, games and other exhibitions. Included in the Museum card (free entrance). Otherwise, I'm not sure if it worths the money. Very friendly staff and natural environment. All in all, fun to go with kids. There are toilets and a place to buy food and drinks.

Indulge your inner child at Intelligentia ICE by Jeffrey, one of the top ice cream spots in Eindhoven. The vibrant pink interior and friendly staff create a whimsical atmosphere that feels like something out of a movie set or a commercial. But what sets this place apart is its unique ice cream flavors, such as Cuban cigar, marshmallow, and aniseed (The Drop). Using fruits, vegetables, and herbs, they craft these unconventional flavors that you won't find elsewhere.
I had the cone with pistachio and cookies ice cream. Both of them were very good and pistachio was super creamy, even buttery. Price was good, 2.2€. Service was fast even with a lot of people. Only bad side is that they don’t have a lot of place to sit, so most people buy and leave.

A very beautiful venue with stunning foyer, acoustically great halls (a larger and a smaller one), and friendly and helpful staff. The ballet company I work for performed a show of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker in the large (about 1000 seats) hall the other night. The staff welcomed and helped us with everything we needed. We got quite large audience, which seemed to enjoy our show quite a lot and wouldn’t stop applauding. I got a glimpse of the season booklet and was positively surprised by the variety of different events the venue was offering. Definitely recommend checking out their program in case you are in Eindhoven and are looking for something fun to do in the evening!

However not everything worked so well: I couldn't scan the QR codes providing information (my friend could), that was a shame. Very nice decor and wonderful building with great big window. Nice to have real plants! We sat at a table with a no laptop sign. This CoffeeLab has one blend of coffee - No School made up of Brazil, Guatemala, Ethiopia We had Americano coffee and tried their Cuban coffee which is a double espresso with some sugar. It was a strong coffee with a sweet after taste. Friendly staff.

The coffee is always good, and on top of that, this new location is quite crisp. Love the big windows, overlooking city centre of Eindhoven. Ps. for those that take care of their teeth after a coffee, there is a water station. Lol, stay hydrated and enjoy the good vibe of this place.

Very nice and welcoming place. The stuff is very nice, the atmosphere is perfect to go with the laptop and work, have nice chat or just chill. I took a smoothie, chai latte and burger, everything delicious. It can be more expensive than other coffee places but totally worth the price.

One of our go-to convenient & cosy cafes located right inside Eindhoven station. Friendly service, a comfortable ambiance. Today we tried their moccachino; and we loved the taste & look of it. We also shared a large and filling portion of their pulled chicken tacos.

Coffeelab never disappoints. I was extremely sad to see them close in may however they are better than ever with their new location. Perfect location, design, ambience, comfort and everything. I love their bakes as well. Would recommend the blondie and the banana bread. It is also convenient for studying and group meetings.

Radio Royaal is a unique dining spot located in Eindhoven's Strijp-S quarter, housed in one of Philips' former factories. The restaurant offers not only delicious food but also an industrial and rustic ambiance. With high ceilings, brick walls, and stylish interiors, the place exudes a lively atmosphere. Inspired by French cuisine with a modern twist, the menu features artfully presented dishes.
We had a great dinner. The atmosphere is amazing due to the uniqueness of the building and its design. The food was fresh and very tasty. It's surely worth a visit ☺️

Went there on Saturday evening, not crowded at all which was strange to see. The ribeye and Hemelse modder were both really good. The charcuterie is a bit boring tbh. Also only two crackers felt a bit off. Hope more people will come for the evenings since it’s a beautiful place.

It was a suprise dinner for my birthday and our server was very nice! The kitchen took good care of our 3-course dinner and the atmosphere was also amazing!

In an old Philips factory this restaurant found a perfect residence. The setup, tables and chairs we can call industrial but it really matches the spirit. The food was really good you get a 3 course menu with special nuances on classics. I really liked it and it is great price quality.

We had a lovely dinner here! A very uniquely styled restaurant - Industrial vintage feel in the old power house of Philips. They have air hockey and foosball tables which we enjoyed playing! Would also be a great place to grab drinks and kick back with your friends. We did the 3 coarse menu and everything was delicious! The service was great. What an awesome time.

Without question, one of the very best restaurants I have ever been to. We had different dishes and everything was perfectly prepared. Not even a single fault. Such a fantastic atmosphere. It looks like an old factory. The toilets are old and very cold. It reminds you of the absence of technology. The dishes look very beautiful. Lots of care is put to prepare layers of taste. We had the chicken and the steak which were both absolutely fantastic. The desserts and the appetizer (zucchini cannelloni) were also seriously tasty and welldone. We will definitely go there again and recommend everyone to try this treasure.
Arash R — Google review
Sorry but I've never eaten such glorified tasteless bland food in my life. I had to add salt 3 times to both the apetizer and the main course. No other spices were used. Went there for a work dinner and really liked the atmosphere but the food was so bad. The service was also kind of dismissive, but I guess that's the Dutch style. Save your money for places that use spices and salt.

Foundation Lichtjesroute is an annual festival in Eindhoven that commemorates the city's liberation from the German Reich during World War II. The event, which takes place in September, features a parade and various light ornaments along the Route of Lights. Volunteers work tirelessly to set up and dismantle the decorations each year. Participants can enjoy a lively atmosphere with refreshments while cycling through the illuminated city streets.

(Translated by Google) Today we thought we'd be able to admire the light trail. The lights were supposed to come on from 7:00 PM, but it was clear that some lights wouldn't be on right away, but only when the streetlights were turned on. Let's just say some lights were on. It wasn't until around 8:00 that the streetlights here and there came on, and so did the lights. So next time we'll drive the trail much later. This was a huge disappointment for the children.

(Translated by Google) Last night (Saturday) we started the Lichtjesroute around 7:45 PM, using the IZI Travel app. It was a fun route with interesting explanations through the app. However, in some places it was a bit difficult to follow the route signs, causing us to take a wrong turn twice. Luckily, that didn't spoil the fun. We had a great time and the whole thing took about an hour and a half. It was very busy in some sections, so we sometimes had to drive at a walking pace.

When you find yourself in Eindhoven, a visit to VANE Skybar is an absolute must. Perched atop the NH Collection Eindhoven Centre hotel, this stylish bar offers not only a vibrant atmosphere but also breathtaking views of the city and beyond. Inspired by local weathervanes, each cocktail at VANE is a unique creation made from homemade ingredients that reflect various directions of the wind compass, taking guests on an exciting journey through diverse flavors and textures.
I had dinner and cocktails here each of the 3 nights I was there. All of the staff were exceptional, friendly, and helpful. I especially appreciated Thomas, the bartender. He clearly enjoys the art of mixology, and he makes fantastic cocktails. I also asked him to make me a cocktail of his own creation, and it was a perfect combination of sweet, refreshing, and bitter. The food was ok. The poke bowl with tuna was the best. The burger was good but not great, and the crispy chicken was meh. Of course the view from the rooftop was very nice, and you can get a decent view of the sunset. I have no idea why the place wasn’t busy, because the atmosphere and cocktails were top notch.
Willie W — Google review
The place was amazing. The service was very good. The cocktails were expensive for what they were but I am guessing that they charge because of the views. We payed 8 euros for taxes. The taxes are not taken into account with the drink. Other than that it was a nice experience.

Amazing experience. Vane Skybar is such a gem in Eindhoven - even when it’s raining. The view is stunning: at one side the city, at the other trees until the horizon. The Interieur is comfy and from latest. But… We are talking about the cocktails! They are passionated made and very unique. Unusal combinations of spirits are well mixed and garnished with creativity & a bright smile. Try the „The Golden Spice“ for a surprise. And also „La Ninja“ and „Eclipse“ and more 😉😄

CJ W — Google review
This skybar is very unique in Eindhoven offering a great view of the whole city. Definitely worth visiting once(and only once probably). The balcony has no character, it feels like sitting in a half constructed place without any decoration. The cocktails appear as something sophisticated in the menu but they're not something you want to go back and drink again. The selling point of the bar is the view and it seems that they stopped the efforts there. It's a pitty, as it could be the best spot in the city.

Piet Hein Eek is famous but you might not now this area in Eindhoven. It’s not only a hotel but also a restaurant, shop, atelier and more. A very nice vibing area hidden in plain sight. I recommend this restaurant. We went here for breakfast and it’s amazing. Why not 5*? I’m missing more vegan options but still overall very good. Service is great, friendly staff and helpful. The food / buffet is good. Fresh and you get what you expect. Freshly made toast, eggs and juices. The location is not too big but great. Nice vibe and good atmosphere. Seats are great too and also there are child seats. Prices are normal and not too high.

We had a chef’s tasting menu tonight and it most definitely deserves an all 5 star rating! There is a lot of care and thought given to the ingredients (all locally sourced) and the service as well. Never had vegetables this delicious, like the fermented tomato soup and smoky charred Brussels sprouts, so any vegetable based dish is recommended. Also, the interior is very cosy and such a hidden gem in Eindhoven!

An amazing bar in the heart of Endhoven. A local friend of mine took me there to have cocktails. The place is huge and has amazing paintings on the wall. The service was quick and excellent. I booked for my friend's Bachelorette party in advanced, It was planned to sit in second floor, because of another big event at the bar. But when we arrived, they placed us in the middle of the bar, just said they can't do anything. Specially a lady that was arranging it was rude, acting like we are in the middle disturbing others while she made us sit in the middle of the way! I really liked Thomas bar and atmosphere, but we felt disrespected and ignored while It was my friend's special day.

This bar for cocktails is a must-visit in Eindhoven. The ambiance is so pleasant that you want to sip a cocktail. I don't know the building's history, but it was presumably a theater or opera house. In any case, the personnel is so kind and friendly that I haven't encountered this kind of behavior elsewhere. Before moving on to the cocktails, remember to use the lamp-like device on the table (turn upside down). When you order something, it will turn from yellow to red and call the staff. The bar offers a variety of beverages, including seasonal specialties and timeless favorites. You have a lot of choices. The good news is that each cocktail's aromatic feel, such as whether it is sweet or sour, is mentioned next to its name. Since everyone has different tastes, I won't offer one here, but you must try the Mexican Negroni. Advice: If you order a cocktail on the weekends, you'll receive a coin that you may use to get one free drink on Monday and Tuesday after the first one. Enjoy the ambiance!

Nice place with cocktails. Key Lime Pie is my favorite! daiquiri and tiramisu were tasty as well. Unfortunately, we got almost cold truffle paste with too much salt and our table was a little sticky. we had 3 or 4 waiters serving us in this evening and it was a bit confusing, but they all were friendly and worked fast.

This was absolutely awful. The bodyguards were unbelievably rude. They let me in but refused to allow my parents. Two of them were extremely disrespectful, and even though there was a cloakroom upstairs, they said not even a small bag was allowed. I left my bag with my husband outside, yet they still said only the girls in the group could enter. A terrible experience with arrogant and impolite security.

Don't know what's up with the security but he seemed to be somewhat xenophobic. Showed him my identification said it was fake. Looking for a fun day out with your kids? Look no further than Speelpark De Splinter! And do you know when the best time to visit this awesome playground is? On their anniversary, of course! Trust me, you won't want to miss it. We were lucky enough to snag tickets to their 30th-anniversary celebration a few days before the event. Let me tell you, if you don't hurry, those tickets will sell out faster than hotcakes! But trust me, it's worth it. After all, this event only happens once a year. There are so many attractions to choose from at Speelpark De Splinter. You can ride horses and ponies, zoom down water slides from the top of Henry Dunant's garden hill, and even get a "tattoo" at the booth for kids. And that's just the beginning! There are also crafts to make, slides to try out, and bouncy houses galore. It's truly the best day ever for both kids and parents alike. We can't thank Speelpark De Splinter and their amazing team of volunteers enough. You guys are truly the best! Happy anniversary, and here's to many more years of making memories with our beloved children. We can't wait to come back next year!

Originally a squat, it now features two concert halls and a bar/eatery that offers modern dining experiences. The venue hosts shows by rock 'n' roll and pop artists, drawing both tourists and locals with its vibrant concert scene and cultural events.
Good easy lockers. You are allowed to bring a Backpack and just store it inside. I was also allowed to bring a waterbottle for my medicine as an exception to the rule of no consumptions so, super nice, helpful staff. My internet acked up and I got use a hotspot/even log in on a staffmembers phone in the end. Very thankful! The venue us not too big either, I really like that. I booked a concert /show here. During entrance they handed me a 'drink token'. However, when I want to use it then they said that it was only for the 'glass' and we still need to pay for the drink. Why to do drama around the token then,
Nirupam B — Google review
I really like it when a venue is small like this, it adds to the vibe. There's a small upstairs area, bar staff was friendly and they sell earplugs for €1; not the best quality but it's great when the sound tech of your band tries to blast the roof off with how loud it was. Seriously, seeing him mix without any kind of ear protection things started to make sense to me. Guy hasn't heard a thing at speaking volume since the 80's. But that's not on the Effenaar, and always bring your earplugs to concerts.
MarresArt — Google review
I had an amazing concert experience today (except for the audience), especially getting to see an incredible band like Orbit Culture perform here. I think the venue itself is great close to the city center, spacious, clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. My suggestion for the venue is this: whenever there’s a metal concert (for the Dutch metal audience), maybe hand out a pillow at the entrance because clearly Dutch people don’t know how a metal concert is supposed to be. A pillow might help them sleep better. I genuinely feel bad for these amazing bands, because even as an audience member, it was a huge disappointment. The crowd was so boring and lifeless that I felt like getting on stage and apologizing to every metal band myself. Thank you to the venue for the great experience.
Irem — Google review
Great venue, nice music, even free nearby parking after 2100. Why four stars: Was expecting a (free) wardrobe but instead they rent out small lockers for 3.50 euro. Think the price is too steep and winter coats will definitely not fit 2 per locker like they advertise... Seems like a quick way to make a buck. There was plenty of personnel and it's not like there are thousands of people inside, so why not have a regular wardrobe like most concert venues?

The FeelGood Market at Strijp-S is a lively and colorful spot, perfect for browsing handmade crafts, local products, and street food. While it leans towards the commercial side, the market becomes a great part of your day when combined with a visit to one of the nearby cafés. After exploring the market, you can unwind at a cozy café just steps away, enjoying a specialty coffee or a fresh lunch. The surrounding area offers a creative and industrial vibe, making it an ideal setting to relax and people-watch. It’s the combination of market shopping and café-hopping that really enhances the experience.

Nestled in the heart of Eindhoven, Phood Kitchen is a pioneering vegan-friendly restaurant that beautifully marries sustainability with culinary creativity. Housed in a former dairy boiler room, this spacious eatery features high ceilings and indoor trees that evoke an inviting outdoor ambiance. The standout element is its unique aquaponic farm located just below the dining area, where fresh salad greens and shiitake mushrooms are cultivated right on-site.
Enjoyed a very pleasant lunch and dinner from PHOOD Kitchen combined with drinks from Stadsoase De Zomertuin. Although I can’t say much about the restaurant or interior, I can say that the service was good and the food was delicious! You can definitely taste they use their own harvest. If you get the change to sit outside and enjoy the ‘summer garden’ I would highly recommend it.

Haven't eaten here yet but we took a quick look inside their facility. Their focus is on local, sustainable, healthy and food design. Can't wait for them to offer tours so I can take a look around again! Cute like minded couple who run the show. We also appreciated their donation for our foodbank! They're gonna have a good year in 2021 once government lock down is gone. Would love to see more fungus farming options.

This intimate venue is cleverly concealed behind a narrow facade and has been serving patrons since 1960. With its modern decor and expertly crafted cocktails prepared by skilled mixologists, it offers a delightful escape for cocktail enthusiasts.
The experience was fantastic. The ambience, vibe and overall experience was great. I was after a Bloody Mary which is sometimes not easy to find or get it done properly and Gijs the barman absolutely smashed it, not only with the cocktail but with the service. Defo coming back again tomorrow before we leave Eindhoven and 100% recommend!

One of the oldest in Eindhoven. One can sit outside or inside there are seats around the counter. Different options for drink based on your choice. One of the place where I have visited several times with colleagues and friends. This is right opposite to Vapiano, near to the church. A friendly host and a good selection of drinks. Many locals visit this place. Casual atmosphere with a small screen to watch the sport or listen to good selections of background music.

My husband and I had a Duo massage with Wendy and Walther. It was absolutely fantastic. They are very friendly and welcoming. They made us feel comfortable, the music was calming and the right volume to allow optimal relaxation, the room was nice and warm and the atmosphere was pleasant. The massage was absolutely fantastic and we both felt so relaxed and refreshed afterwards. We both even fell asleep during the massage- it was that good! We will definitely return. Money well spent in our opinion.

Incredible relaxing experience! My partner and I did the duo massage and were blown away with the professionalism and attention to detail in the massage. They both knew exactly what our tender areas were and slowly worked at them to relax those muscles. Everything on that day was perfect and smooth and we will definitely be back!

Went today for my first massage in the Netherlands. Had Walther as my consultant. Brilliant is not enough to describe. Had a lot of stress in my body and mind, he listened to where i said I felt stress and paid close attention to these locations. Ambiance with music and fishtank was perfect. Nice location, clean, presentable in a nice calming way from moment one. Water available and nice area to leave clothes etc. Cannot fault the service and advice, will definitely be returning as soon as my schedule allows. 10/10

Relaxation massage = apply oil on your back and smear it for one hour? Don’t disappoint yourself if you don’t want to spend 60 euro and one hour life time plus regret. Me and my friend booked Duo relax massage from 7:30PM on Monday, which was operated by Wendy and the other male specialist. My friend has complained in the middle so we switched the specialist in half way. Wendy is good but the other one is technically little power in hand, which couldn’t relax any piece of muscle. To be honest — I don’t think I can get enough relaxation through applying body oil. And we told the owner our opinions. The argument we got — we should go to Thai Massage if expect to be pressed harder to the tensions. Okay, it’s time to manage your expectation if you are looking at reviews now. It’s a bad experience and it’s not the first massage I had in Eindhoven. So I won’t lower my bar for this time.

60 mins 120 euros duo massage for only applying oil on your back back & forth without adding any force. I started with the man, I really didn't like it so I communicated what I need, where the pain is. But he didn't do any improvements. So I asked to switch. The lady is a little bit better with her hands. In general, I went with back pain and came back with exact the same level of pain. No improvement at all. If I want to apply some oil on my back I can do it home. I have done so many massages in NL. This is the worst experience, but we still paid the full amount of money which was totally not worthy it. Won't come back for sure.

The National Swimming Center the Tongelreep in Eindhoven, Netherlands is a world-class aquatic facility that has been instrumental in training Olympic swimmers. It offers swimming lessons for all ages and skill levels, with dedicated and patient instructors. The center features a beautiful 10-lane 50-meter pool and an 8-lane 25-meter pool, making it suitable for both recreational activities and competitive events.
This is a beautiful 10 lane 50 meter pool with an 8 lane 25 meter pool behind it. Plenty of seating for large events and a great, friendly, helpful staff. Our swim league (EFSL) rents this pool for our championship meet and have had nothing but great experiences! They’ve got a cafe and shop on site as well, as well as plenty of bathrooms and meeting rooms.

It used to be nice until they just had to ruin everything for people. You can’t have a pass anymore, now it’s become monthly subscriptions that make it way too expensive for swimming laps. Not worth paying €229 a year to be swimming with very limited time frames and in super overcrowded pools. Recreational swimming is not even an option anymore. There are no parking facilities in the place, you need to go walking like 10min. What a shame that something so nice for locals has been ruined.
S. C — Google review
I would highly recommend the National Swimming Center the Tongelreep for anyone looking for a place to take swimming lessons. The instructors, especially meneer Philip, meneer Renee and Juf Leticia, are incredibly patient and sincere, as are all the other instructors that we've interacted with. In just 5 months, I've seen my boys make huge progress in their swimming abilities. My oldest son started in the basic shallow pool and is now confidently swimming in a 2-meter depth pool. My younger son, who couldn't swim at all before, has made remarkable progress and is now confident and skilled in the pool. Going to the National Swimming Center the Tongelreep for swimming lessons is always a fun experience for my boys. The facilities are top-notch and up to good standards. I couldn't be happier with the quality of instruction and the progress that my boys have made. If you're looking for a great place for your kids to learn how to swim, I highly recommend giving this center a try.

Good place if you have to celebrate something with your company. Many different types of beers. If you do not know what to choose take the “flight of beer”. You get 4 different beers and a good explanation. Price is with €16,00 a little high but worth it.

Cool spot with delicious beer and interesting food recipes. Parking is tricky if you visit by car and it was very busy for a Thursday at 530.
