We came after a Pirates game and it was slammed, after waiting for five minutes we got a table. The food here is homey. Massive portions and definitely proper pub food. Went with the fish sandwich, Cajun meatloaf and Mac and cheese. The fish sandwich is massive. It needs sauce, so make sure to coat the boat in provided tarter. The meatloaf had a nice kick and was smothered in perfectly cooked onions. The Mac and cheese was good, albeit not the most amazing and didn’t live up to the hype for me. I would, however, order it again. If you’re looking for a cool spot in a gentrified neighborhood, Kelly’s is your go-to.

We got takeout, I had the Smokehouse chicken melt sandwich with parmesan fries my boyfriend had the Classic Burger with cajun fries(see pics). Yum!! The high quality of all of the ingredients used was very notable. The fries were hand cut fresh fries, theres nothing better! Although I will say I liked the cajen ones much better than the parm ones. The pulled chicken tasted like it actually came from a smoker, and the cheese sauce was incredible, not the weird mystery cheese that comes in a can. Bf said the burger was juicy and the bacon on it was thick cut and tasty. Lastly but most notable was the peach bread pudding. OMG it was so so good. A generous portion and warm. I'm drooling just thinking about it. It was to die for. Such generous portions too! Can not wait to go back and try more food. What a pleasant surprise!

They only had one bartender and were so efficient and welcoming to us. The owner hopped behind the bar and did anything that she could to help the last minute influx in people. She checked on us throughout the night and let us take over the back room for the entire night. It turned into an absolutely wonderful and successful party. I will always remember the graciousness of the owners and staff and how they truly saved the day in a very unfortunate and stressful situation.
