The small establishment makes the best use of it’s quirky space, using the upstairs and downstairs with centuries old staircases and rooms. The service is very friendly if not the most professional but they try hard in the strangest of restaurant conditions. We started with a couple of their cold and delicious draft beers from their vast list of beer, wine and cocktail choices. We then went with their cheese and meat charcuterie, which was huge, containing three delicious cheeses, soppresata, grapes, almonds, honey and toasted bread, very nicely done. We then had the steak frites, the small steak was excellent and cooked perfectly rare, the fries were homemade and tasty. I went with the crab cakes served with a brandy cream sauce, loaded with thick claw meat, one of the best that I have ever had !! I did see a table of people who brought their own snacks, I guess they've been here before to know they can bring outside food.
