What a great spot. Food was amazing! It was cold in dinning room but other than that everything was great. The salmon and pesto gnocchi was delicious and was a large portion. Short ribs were so tender and full of flavor. Definitely highly recommend! We will be back

This is one of those rare exceptional finds! I had the honey chicken, ginger salad, and tea. The salad and chicken was comparable in flavor and quality to rare authentic finds. On top of the exceptional food, the service is great. I did find it weird that I couldn't pay extra for honey chicken and fried rice but once I started eating - I had no desire for the fried rice because the chicken's flavor profile was already strong enough.

Highly anticipated and excited about eating here. Had lunch with a friend and although the overall experience was solid, the food was good. Nothing mind blowing or exciting. Everything was pretty solid but execution or flavor profile could have been better. Little too much rice in the sushi or missing little something. It was good, just not great.

Really enjoyed my experience at wild ginger this weekend. The service was phenomenal... We had the Calamari and Blue Crab Rangoon for appetizers which were so good. Might have been the best calamari ive ever had. For entrees we had the Honey Chicken and the Fish tacos alongside the Waikiki Roll. Great portions of everything and the server boxes our leftovers up for us.Would definitely visit again

My first time at Wild Ginger. I was in Franklin for a job interview and stopped in for lunch afterwards. The Scottish salmon entree was amazing, the sparkling sake, delicious. Sat on the banquette facing an enormous plate glass wall with a beautiful view of the patio and what appeared to be an exceptionally ambitious very early rose, if that’s even possible! Lovely view, great food. Will be going back.

I have been here a couple of times, but yesterday was my first time here with large group. They were very friendly and we were able to get a large table for party of 8. Food was delicious and my favorite menu was Hot Rock grill with kobe beef! They give you a hot stone where you cook your own beef and that was a cool experience! Sake selections are also decent. Junmai Taru Sake was our favorite. In summary, it was a fancy restaurant with great selection of menus for a decent price!!

This place is all & more when it comes to Thai & Sushi. Both the sushi & regular menu offer a variety of amazing dishes so there’s something for everyone! The customer service was top tier & the atmosphere suits the energy the restaurant provides. I want to give a shoutout to my waitress & the two chef’s being kind & generous. Great experience. Went after church with 12 people and were immediately seated and served water and orders were taken promptly when we were ready. Restaurant was busy but service was quick and we got to see our sushi made in front of us. Everybody enjoyed their meals of teriyaki chicken and rice; sushi fruit roll; pad Thai; chicken curry; oyster roll. I had monkey brain and while it was good it was not what I was expecting in the flavor realm, a little bland, but tasty none the less.

food was very delicious and the place is so cute and has good lighting! however my total was $46 and i left a $12 tip in cash so i didn't write anything on the receipt, then they charged my card $56 so the guy definitely wrote in an extra $10 tip 😭 i called and they refunded it though. just make sure to write in "cash tip" if you leave a cash tip haha

The food is great, selection and menus are quite interesting including digital and light up menus. Service is OK, everytime we come here we wait way too long, even after everyone else eats to get simple chicken stick and fried rice for the kids. I always assume they forget to enter the order. My kids dont like coming because of it.

I had the Pui pui chicken with a side of ginger salad. The entree was good, but not my favorite. I'd recommend any of the curries on the menu instead. I wish the vegetables were actually cooked till they were soft enough. It's a great place, and it has been opened successfully for many years.

Had a great dinner this evening with our family friends that recommend this restaurant. We were able to walk in and get a table. We were a party of six. We started with edamame and two sushi rolls of Jane and spicy tuna. Wished the spicy tuna was a little more spicy. Up next were chicken teriyaki bento box, veg and shrimp tempura dinner and kids chicken tempura. All the food was very good just wished better vegetables options like broccoli instead of two green beans. Overall very good and excited to share the positive review.

Thursday dinnertime, was pretty quiet, immediately got a seat and ordered, food came a few minutes later. Bento box with beef, tempura, California roll and fried rice. The egg rolls were extraordinary - crispy on the outside, soft in the center. The rest was delicious and the service was excellent. A nice dining experience on the slightly pricier side of things, because I ordered outside of the lunch menu time but that was on me. Still high quality and I would recommend, and visit again.

I don't normally do sushi takeout of any kind, but I was very impressed with this. It was delicious, and I bet it's even better in house. Had a super long wait after putting in my takeout order, and their prices are definitely on the higher end. So keep that in mind. Overall though, not bad.

Typically I love trying up new things but because the Mexican restaurant next door was full we gave this a try and unfortunately I had high hopes and that is what betrayed me lol
I am not sure if yall would agree with me and you might think it's great, that's totally fine give it a go. The place was crowded and we had to wait 15 min to get seated and another 15 min just to take our order. I also felt the food was bland and with no different from any other place, nothing special but yet a bit pricey.
Would I come back? Probably not but I hope it can improve from here on now.

Clean and cozy. Server was friendly and attentive. Food was great. We had the bento lunch boxes. One of the few places where the miso soup was hot and had tofu in it. Parking can be a bit of an issue, unless you don't mind a short walk. We will definitely return.

This is absolutely one of my favorite places! I have been coming here for years with my friends and have yet to have a bad experience. Their sushi is some of the best in the Nashville area, and absolutely hands down the best value for money sushi wise. The staff at UMI is very friendly, and very helpful. If you are looking for a bigger meal, any of the bento boxes are a solid choice. Highly recommend!!

My son and I love coming here for our mommy and son dates. The place is super cute, service is great, food sometimes take a lil long but that's why we order edamame (yum yum) the food is delicious. They had no issues letting my "new to exploring the seafood world" lil one modify a roll to his liking. Which he loved! We will always be loyal customers here. We typically take the food to go and so this review is for to go orders. Over all typically the wait time runs a little longer (15 mins) than the time you get quoted after placing the order. Not a big deal to wait but realize it happens often and yes they are a small shop that is quite busy.

My husband stopped here to get me pho since it was on the way home. I was so excited until I felt that the box with the noodles was warm. I opened it to see brown Thai basil, soggy bean sprouts, and noodles not associated with pho. I open the broth that has mushrooms in it (picture is how it came) and it smelled fishy. We got the chicken katsu, Florida rolls, and a tuna roll. The katsu was fried nicely - crunchy but without the chicken being overcooked. The fried rice that came with it was great.

Best Korean fried chicken I've ever had! I always have to get the fried chicken wings when I come visit. I know the chef personally went through all kinds of different trials and recipe tweaks to get it absolute perfection.
The hamachi collar is one of the best I've had as well. One of the friends in our group said it was her favorite dish of the night besides the wings.
The pad Kee mao is legit, so much flavor and we totally killed that dish.
If you're into inventive creative dishes, try the kimchi fries, interesting way to make loaded fries. All the sushi rolls that we ordered were delicious, chef's kiss "mwah"!

Stopped in tonight for sushi. Dinning room was packed. Not a very big restaurant so I understand the close seating and there was enough room for service to flow. Attitude of the hostess could have been better but our server was very nice. As busy as it was, our food came out pretty quickly. Sushi was plated nice, well prepared and tasted wonderful. Not too unreasonable on the price considering the area. I don't come to Cool Springs often but I will definitely come back again.

Was in the area so I stopped in and had lunch here yesterday. Top notch. Beautiful place, well ran and very friendly. The steamed dumplings were amazing and I've been dying for a Thai coffee. The sushi and sashimi could always be bigger cuts, but that's just me. Average pricing for this type of establishment, but could easily of been on the higher side due to location and quality.

Love this restaurant! Wait times for food were good and our waitress Tip was great. There was another server who cracked me up. Very pleased with the service. However, the food is the reason we come!
Spring rolls were delicious and crunchy. The Jasmine roll was my favorite. My husband ordered the red curry, our standard go-to Thai dish (possibly my favorite meal on earth). It was good but he ordered level 4 heat (out of 5) and I would say it was more of a 1 or 2 level. We added crushed red pepper to spice it up though.
My daughter liked our other sushi restaurant better but my husband and I will certainly be back. Can't go wrong eating here and Thai + sushi = yummy happiness!

Not the best hibachi I've had but still good. The steak was as you'd expect, and the rice was good too, but the vegetables were seasoned poorly and our particular chef didn't cook them enough. Going with a double portion of rice instead would've brought the food up to a 5/5 for me, but the vegetables really were inedible.

Only got one refill on my drink and it was after a long wait and once it was out again was never offered a refill and for a $4 glass of tea this is unacceptable. Trust if you like Japanese food you will love this place. The prices aren't bad either. Plus you get dinner and a show. They cook your in front of you and your group. You can go with a friend but you'll have to seat with people you don't know but the seats are spaced adequately. The food is fantastic and most people have some to take home. Try it. Our chef was somewhat entertaining—but I do wish there had been a little more interaction. They made the meal quick. The service was good, but the food is very below par and I think I got the wrong role from what I ordered. I don’t even wanna finish half of it. And then to go box smashes the rolls to where it is completely flattened.

Despite food looking good I'm really sorry but this didn't work out for me. Rice taste better at Kroger not to mentioned how the sashimi didn't look fresh (of course, I don't expect fresh sashimi in the middle of Tennessee but come on, I've tasted way better food at Walmart). Expensive and really didn't want to come back. Other tables were complaining also and were saying the same thing about the food. I liked the customer service, fast and easy and really helpful. The waiter also asked opinion on the food but because he was so nice I didn't have the heart to tell him how we didn't enjoy the food.

I was looking forward to trying this place but was majorly let down. It is clear they are using quality ingredients, but it just wasn't right. For instance the Spicy Tuna roll was barely spicy, instead the only flavor I could taste was the smokiness of the toasted/burnt sesame seeds. I sat at the sushi bar which was another issue. The staff kept shouting over my head and reaching over me to get plates. Even though there was room to put it elsewhere they continued. Just ruined the experience due to the feeling of someone hovering over you and talking loudly over you. Really disappointed they didn't have more respect for their customers...

Not accommodating for people with allergies. I asked for the Sashimi Lunch which comes with 9 pieces of Sashimi and Rice. I requested that all 9 pieces be Tuna since that is the only seafood I can eat. They would not accommodate so I was limited to about 2 or 3 things on the menu.

I have been in TN since 2010, used to work around Maryland Farms area but had no clue this place existed. I recently moved to GA and was actually visiting my office and staying in a hotel nearby. Was driving around and I happen to see this place. Anyways long story short Service was so awesome everyone was so polite and nice. Guy making sushi even let me try this fried tuna which was so awesome. I had Hollywood rolls I think with salad and miso soup everything was great. This place is awesome definitely awesome sushi. Didn’t have the highest expectations, but this place sure did meet them, and more. Easily the best sushi I’ve had in the whole state. Very fresh tasting and more authentic seeming than other joints. The lady serving us was attentive and friendly. The udon noodles were perfectly cooked and flavorful. The potstickers were wonderful. They were boiled but still had the crispy edges that are delicious. This place did not manage to score any points for ambiance, although I would definitely come here again.

First time going to Hanabi and first time writing a review. Honestly Peter’s Sushi is close by and way better. So My wife and I brought our 2 kids and our server which was the older female owner was ABSOLUTELY, UNBELIEVABLY RUDE. Food is over priced, and once we told her we were eating light she scolded us for wasting her time. She ridiculed our kids when there jackets fell on the floor. And it just kept going. Another guy mentioned that she is crazy. We had to tell her to please leave our table and she tried to over charge us for what we ordered. We complained to another server and left. Never had that mean of a server in our lives. All I can say is hurt people, hurt people.

Who complains about their tip. Visiting town and wanted to try something different. The food took awhile to arrive at our table (20min, maybe 30min ) lost track of time. Food was great (can't complain about the sushi) Another server picked up our plates and said we left too much soy sauce in the little dish they give you (Really!) its soy sauce. Then she said we needed to leave a higher tip for our waiter. Since when is 10% not enough for bad service. We where asked not to complain and to not come back. Good food and service. Ate lunch here with my wife and daughter. The food is super fresh and they brought things out as they were ready which I love. The chicken fried rice was great. The chicken was high quality and well cooked. Their egg rolls are also really good. Shrimp tempura was also worth getting. My wife loved the tom Yom soup. The only dish that was a little disappointing was the green curry which was bland. Will definitely eat here again!

I would say I come here 2-3 time a month. Sometimes twice in one week… the food is great, and service is FAST. Even on a super busy lunch everything is quick. The sushi chef is the friendliest guy you’ll meet, and love to welcome people in. The sushi is fresh and delicious. BUT I come here for the pho. Their pho is the best around. I have tried 3 other places and they pale in comparison. The broth is flavorful and rich, just how I like it. The beef is limited to just thick slices of round, I think, but I don’t care. The broth alone is worth it, and I will continue to get it every time I come! Just a note tho, if you come during a weekday lunch, sometimes it is VERY busy and you have to wait, but you won’t wait long since the food is out so fast.

This place is by far the best Sushi I’ve had in Tennessee, and I’ve eaten a lot of sushi in my life! They do an amazing rainbow roll. If you like spicy food go for the king cobra roll, it’s absolutely delicious. The staff is also incredible, Will, Grace, and Ella are so welcoming even tho we go in kinda late sometimes 😬 the sushi chef, Tony, is great at what he does and always remembers us when we come in. We’ve had their curry, their fried rice and everything in between. If you haven’t tried this place out, you are seriously missing out.

All of the sushi was delicious! We loved that the chef just kept dropping off sushi for us to try. Maybe it's because we did the AYCE, but it was our favorite part. It may help we were the only ones there at the time, but we loved it. The chef was willing to tell us about each roll he was making. I don’t usually write reviews but I felt this experience needed to be shared. When I walked into the restaurant, I was not greeted by any staff, offered a seat, or menu. I was completely ignored until I went up to the sushi bar and told the older man about my online order. He was very short with me and had a very rude demeanor. Shortly after I went up and talked to the man and older woman came in and was greeted warmly. She was told to sit wherever and where the menus were and if she had any questions to ask.
As a teenager, it was very hurtful to be treated so dismissively, especially when I came in with a good attitude just wanting an afternoon snack. Respect and basic courtesy should be shown to every customer no matter their age. Unfortunately, that just wasn’t the case for me.

Update to the below. 04/28/20: TERRIBLE SERVICE lately. I’ve gotten it 4 times recently and every time they have been outrageously late from the schedule pick up time, AND rude beyond belief when I called in. They’ve hung up on me multiple times. Ive seen delivery drivers waiting almost an 2 hours for food pick up. Only reason they’re still getting more than 1 star from me is because the food is good. Otherwise, I’d never go again.
Phenomenal sushi! The quality of the fish is outstanding and I could really taste it overall. I will say it falls in the middle tier of pricing ($10-$13) which means this will not be a bargain choice, however I think for the quality you’re getting it’s amazing. The Nigiri is a little pricey on paper, but what you get in return is thick slices of organic fish that will leave you feeling like it was definitely worth the price. I had the Salmon and Tuna, and my wife had the Shrimp and Eel. Outstanding and I highly recommend this place.

From the moment we walked in, this restaurant delivered a 10 out of 10 experience. The ambiance was vibrant and welcoming, and the host staff was incredibly helpful and prompt. As soon as our entire party arrived, we were seated right away. The space was clean, well-organized, and clearly well-maintained.
We came here to celebrate my mom’s birthday and were seated at the Hibachi grill with another lovely family who also had a birthday to celebrate. It made for a fun and lively atmosphere—almost like a shared celebration!
Our Hibachi chef was not only skilled but also very friendly and entertaining. The food was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. We started with edamame, and then I had the filet mignon and shrimp with fried rice. The meal also came with soup and salad. The seasoning on both the steak and shrimp was phenomenal—easily a 10/10. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted incredibly fresh.
My mom ordered the Chilean sea bass and filet mignon, also with fried rice, salad, and soup. She was blown away by the sea bass—it was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.
One of the most unique and fun parts of the night was the robot servers! They delivered our appetizers, drinks, and even sang “Happy Birthday” while bringing out the cake. It was such a cool and futuristic touch, especially handy when the staff is busy.
What really stood out to me was the level of cleanliness. After each party, a dedicated crew came through to remove all the chairs, sweep, mop, scrub the grills, and sanitize the area thoroughly. It was spotless, and I truly appreciated the attention to detail.

Unfortunately, we weren't very impressed. They had good reviews and the pics looked appetizing but our selections didn't stand out. They didn't have a fresh flavor and seemed to below average. The presentations were decent except for the Spicey Scallop Roll was falling apart even before it was delivered to the table. The Spicy Mayo overpowered the Scallops which proved to be a poor option for us. We gave it a try, but won't be back.
