My family of four visited around 9:30 AM and were greeted and seated immediately. The place has a cozy, rustic diner feel that we really enjoyed. We ordered the biscuits and gravy platter with shredded hash browns, eggs, and sausage, along with the much recommended waffle. Our server was wonderful, friendly, attentive, and kept our coffee full and piping hot throughout the meal. When the food arrived, it looked fantastic. Unfortunately, the taste didn’t quite live up to the hype. Both plates were barely warm, closer to room temperature. The waffle had a great crunch and was sweet, but paired with the room-temp maple syrup from the table, it fell flat.
