We had one of the best breakfasts ever at T.C. Eggington’s on Alma School Road.
I ordered the Piglet’s Passion omelet, a side of soft bacon, and the strawberry smoothie. Nothing was left on my plate at the end. The omelet was hands-down the best I’ve ever had. Packed with flavor and perfectly cooked, it was absolutely on point.
The diced potatoes were golden and crispy, the English muffin toasted just right, and the smoothie; WOW.
Our server, Brenda, was warm, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. ALWAYS SMILING. "Always Timely", we never had to look for her.

Our first time eating here from our of town & it definitely did not disappoint! The potatoes were seasoned just right, the yogurt parfait was delicious, my ultimate favorite was the biscuits & gravy! I could eat that everyday! My daughter got the chicken fried steak & even that was good!!! We are definitely going to be coming here everyone we're visiting AZ!

Got the cottage reef I think it's called with a side of French toast. 10/10. The potatoes were seasoned nicely. The omelet was unique for me, but so yummy.
1/10 for service. Our server lost her smile the moment she got to our table and never came back. Didn't ask if we needed anything or wanted water. But I did watch her treat all other patrons with cheer and good conversation. Honestly felt like she had a prejudice and acted on it. That's fine. She brought our check and walked off into the abyss.
The other young lady who took our order for coffee was sweet. She asked if we were enjoying our food. She may have been a manager. Either way, she made a sour experience a little bit sweeter.

This is our second visit to Wild Berry Diner. This time we invited a couple with whom we're good friends with and they thoroughly enjoyed their breakfasts as did we.

Today, I tried the Turkey Club w/ fries and was not disappointed! Outstanding meal!

My lady has been after me for a while to give Wild Berry Diner a try, and so, early this morning, we made our first visit.
Christina (not the owner) our friendly sever greeted and seated us at a table.
My wife and I had Bacon,sausage patties, eggs over medium, potato's, toast and a biscuit and coffee.
Our food arrived hot and fresh in less than 5 minutes! Our meals were delicious overall. One small nitpick was that the sausage patties were a bit too salty.
Christina our sever was so nice and friendly to us and really made our first visit very pleasant.
Would we come back again? Great food and service combined with reasonable prices; Absolutely we'll return!

I came here from out of town for a quick breakfast early sat. There was ONE waitress that was working the whole place and she was running.The place was busy and she was working the fastest that she could but it took over 15 mins to get order taken ,refills on coffee did not happen. After we were there awhile 2 more waitresses showed up and what appeared to be a cashier and I believe a hostess which I believe was tge owner. The place is cute and prices are fair,I would go again but the owner has to manage better to not leave a good waitress in the position that she did.

I happened to be in the area so I thought I would give them a try. It was a Friday. I lucked up on their Friday $10 all you can eat fried Pollock fish special. Folk it also came with soup or salad. Baked potato or fries, Cole slaw and a drink (I choose raspberry ice tea). All for $10 DOLLARS. The fish was fried crispy. 7/18/24 - I cannot say it was a pleasant enough experience for us to take the drive again from So. Phoenix. I knew how far away it was, but had been here before years ago and remember it being very good. Not so this second visit; maybe they have new owners/cooks. I will say that for the price, the portions are very large. Plus it has a cozy country feel to it. But we will not return for a third visit.
Longer version: I specifically remember their cinnamon rolls were spectacular. This time, however, it was more dense than I remember, as well as a bit flat -- plus we were finished with our meals before it was ever delivered to our table. We kept trying to catch our server's attention but were unable to do so until we had already packed our meals away in the take-home boxes we brought . I guess when she saw the empty table she figured it was time to return to our table -- at which time we asked about the cinnamon roll. It was not overly crowded but there also did not seem to be too many wait staff in attendance.
The biscuits looked like they came from a tube, and were a bit too dry for my tastes. I ordered the Hawaiian omelet and it was a bit lacking in flavor. Maybe I am simply used to Hawaiian pizzas (ha ha!) but I think the omelet needed a bit more flavor to it.

Along with 3 friends, I have to report that the Wild Berry Diner is terrific! Service is great, and food is really good. The "Senior Menu" seemed almost too good to be true. But, it offered a lot of choice for a small price. It's nice to see a crowd at a cafe, because that usually means good food. But sometimes a crowd doesn't move along quick enough. Even though we were the 3rd group waiting, our wait for a table was only a few minutes! Maybe 5. We got to sit down WAY before we expected. Terrific wait staff. (I wish I had asked our server her name.) We're going to go back. I have to drive all the way from west Mesa. But it's worth the drive!

The food is incredibly delicious, our waitress was extremely kind and attentive, but the older woman who is the hostess is extremely rude. She approached our table while we were in the middle of boxing our food today and told us we “needed to leave because it’s been an hour and other people need the table”. If we had been there for 2+ hours, I would obviously understand, but it had just hit the hour mark, 30 minutes of that time was spent waiting for our food, and my parents drove an hour to meet us there, we would have liked to spend some more time with them. I love this breakfast diner, came here for a lunch date . Service was fast & got seated right away. My server was very kind and attentive on refills for coffee. I visited today for the first time because I needed to get out of the house, since I work from home. I took the bus 20 miles to get there and I wasn’t disappointed…at all. Firstly, I want to recognize the staff for amazing service. The host was super nice but I didnt get her name but she worked today at this location for reference to any leadership or owners.
My server, Juli H., is very attentive and made sure my questions were answered, welcomed me for being my first time, kept my coffee refilled and told me about the app and how to earn rewards. She is a Rockstar employee and totally deserves like Employee of the Month, a raise, bonus, or all of the above! She treated every table near me with that same respect and positivity.
Food is amazing! I love the coffee here! I heard Juli explained a little bit about the Italian brew and how the coffee grounds are little bit higher quality and you can totally taste it! Not your typical diners coffee! I would just come here for the coffee and some eggs if I lived close enough!
The Cinna-cakes is huge! Probably the size of my steering wheel! Im so glad I ordered the short stack that comes with two. I ate half and had to call it good!
I love the pictures on the wall and I know that is something you dont really see reviewers comment on but I gotta say... the sail boat canvas was very relaxing to look at with my breakfast.

Cute little diner-like place. I have to be gluten free and saw they had some options that looked tasty. Ended up getting the Cajun hash which was good! UPDATE: After initially having an extremely poor experience, the owner and the staff encouraged me to come back in and I was able to enjoy the meal I initially wanted to have at my first visit. Nice quaint place. Went early afternoon for a bite to eat. Place was half full. Was seated right away, and that was it. After waiting 10 with absolutely no acknowledgement we left. First time here. Wheelchair friendly. We were greeted as soon as we walked thru the door. It wasn’t busy. I think we arrived before 11:00. You can smell the cinnamon rolls as soon as you walk in! There is a display of delicious looking cupcakes and cookies. We ordered the breakfast burrito with sausage but no peppers or onions and I asked if I could get the hash browns inside the burrito instead of on the side ($1 extra). We had to order a cinnamon roll heated up. It was all so good. Hot and fresh! Yum. I believe the gal who greeted us was Melody, my husband said there was a picture of her on the wall for winning baking awards. We will definitely go back. I want to try one of their French toast flavors (most likely cinnamon roll LOL)!

Breakfast was the worst we have seen! Hockey puck sausage, egg broken, other slopped over the side. Toast cold. Hash browns were reheated and served after sitting in a heat lamp for who knows how long.Nothing fresh. Slick fast food style hash was what we thought it looked like.
Coffee so harsh you have to use a 50/50 dilution of black coffee and hot water. No unsweetened iced tea available. Why didn't they tell me this when we ordered it at the counter. (?)
Snippy, dismissive, argumentative, condescending front cashier/server. Def not senior friendly or lady friendly which is surprising given this establishment is lady owned/operated and let me tell you-when the owner is there-the meals are squared away tight, appetizing and perfect. She must have not been overseeing the kitchen area today tho bc she wouldn't have served this up based on our experience here when she is cooking.
Taste was so bad on this plate of food, we tried to cover it up with mega pepper to no avail. Still, hash browns were reheated, not served up fresh, yet they purported to have remade them when we requested them to be redone. Uhm no.
There was a Real Estate meeting going on in the back of the restaurant, how tacky was that? Otherwise no other customers. I can see why since they no longer honor coupons 2 for one to seniors their business only had us and the Real Estate team. The cashier claimed too many people were copying the coupon so they could no longer honor them. Really, so the one we brought in you could tell was cut out of the fliers in the 55 plus community, obviously not a fake duplicate. But you no longer have any discounts, promos or incentives for seniors-I can see why there were no other cash paying customers. NO more street signs advertising a breakfast for seniors for 7$ or so? Your breakfasts this time around don't really look that good. NO go, not again....
Service was subpar and the server refused to refund those ugly, worn out hash browns. Well, live and learn.
IN our opinion, skip this little cozy looking place and head to Cracker Barrel, IHOP or Denny's. They are closer and they serve up such nice breakfasts for much less $$$ and are family friendly with fair pricing.

Heard from good friends about Sassy’s. Practically in the neighborhood so I had to drag my bride to check it out. The biscuits and gravy were good and so was the Pina Colada French toast. Service was good. Food didn’t take to long. All in all a good meal. Looking forward to visiting again and trying some more of the menu. The lemon iced cookie was really good. The snickerdoodle and chocolate chip were tasty too.

Ordered the Sassy Club sandwich (without lettuce or onions) with the egg loaf bread (comes standard) with a Boston Cream cupcake. An everything bagel and chocolate chip cookie.
My Sassy Club was absolutely perfectly made and I'd 100% order it again as I hope to be back a lot. The Boston Cream cupcake was delicious with rich chocolate topping with a soft whipped cream inside. If anything I'd love more filling but other wise was great.
Would and will plan to be back here to try more things. Very impressed with the food and atmosphere.

The sweets are really good. The chocolate covered cheesecake was just a lightly drizzled chocolate, but it was good. The cheesecake was more soft than I'm used to. Connolis was good. The cream they used was tasty and flake crust. The pink champagne cupcakes were perfectly sweet and stuffed with whipped cream. I wasn't peticularly fond of these.
I'm quite disappointed with the service. The server nicely had asked us if we could hurry up because they needed to clean the store for closing. It was about 4:20 pm, meaning 40 mins to enjoy my sweets. Can you clean around the customer, sweeping and wiping down surfaces. But overall, it was a good experience.

I love checking out neighborhood diners when I travel and this place hit the spot. Got the sausage, mushroom, and Swiss Gambler and it was delicious. Coffee was great too. The only thing was I didn't realize it didn't come with toast and wish the server would have asked if I wanted to add it. Good service. Other than that, a really nice experience and would definitely return if I'm in town again!

Quaint small Dinner like Cafe. Food is nothing special but we'll priced! Servers made sure coffee was and delivered the check as the food came out. So they were efficiently lazy. They were very nice and friendly though. Flavor in Gravey needs help and they would have some great plates. Overall nice place to fill your belly for a fair price.

Maybe they was just having a off day. When I saw "Midwestern Home Cooked Meals" I'll be honest I got a bit excited. What we got was far from that. The chicken fried steak looked and tasted like it came out if a Marie Calenders TV dinner. Not that I dont like that but it doesnt boast Home Cooked. My pork chops were disappointing thin and the hashbrowns might as well have been overcooked Or Ida from Frys. The service itself was great, Fast and Friendly. Great coffee and OJ. I'll visit this location again if Im in the area just to see if it was a off day for everyone.

We LOVED First Watch! Everything about it. The food, the atmosphere and the staff. We are in Mesa visiting family… well helping someone move… and we always end up struggling to find somewhere new and good to eat. A google map search led us here and we are glad it did! So many things looked good on the menu, it was difficult to choose. When the food came out, it looked beautiful! I’m not kidding. I never take pictures of food, but I did today. I made my husband wait so I could take one of his too. Lol. My MIL got to her french toast before I could take a picture of hers. My Avocado toast was plated beautifully, but more importantly, it was delicious! My husband got a blueberry pancake, just one, and that was all he needed because it was as big as the plate. Our server, Eli, was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in Mesa.

Quinoa was so wet and soppy with no taste. It isn't the nice fluffy that you expect. Super lazy. My husbands dish was so salty he couldn't even finish It. Waiter didn't even check on us and his attitude was like he couldn't care less about our table of 3. Things were overpriced too.

I had such a wonderful experience at this location. The food was wonderful - the holiday menu was delicious! We also had the tangerine dream drink it was sooo good! I want to shoutout our server Jessica — not only was she amazing, attentive, friendly and beautiful — but she also was so kind when my mother spilled her drink. She had the busboy come clean it so my mom didn’t have to lift a finger (my mom is older so I was grateful) and she got my mom a refill. Just perfect for lunch. Small business with a family feel to it. Cindy took great care of us. My daughter can have trouble deciding what she wants to eat and Cindy took the time to figure out what she liked and made her something she ate all up. Everything is on sourdough bread. Me and my lady came across this heavenly place as we was walking. We both ordered the cheeseburger but I ordered the corn chowder as it was recommend by the server. The burgers was so fresh, delicious and filling. The corn chowder had a perfect blend of seasons. I recommend all of you to come have some freshly, home-cooked food with a friendly smile. Delightful cafe reminiscent of grandma's house - yummy homemade food and friendly ladies.
My mom and I tried out this little cafe for the first time and absolutely loved our lunch. The quant atmosphere and quick service was much appreciated. I ordered the Ruben on rye with a cup of homemade asparagus soup. My mom ordered the chicken Philly with the soup.
First, we were impressed with the speed of service. Second, everything came out hot - this is such a noticeably different experience from most restaurants. Third, everything was delicious and obviously fresh & homemade.
The asparagus soup was the star of lunch - creamy, hearty, smooth and tasting just like asparagus. I'd go back for the soup alone!
My Reuben was delicious, salty and mustardy!

Extremely disappointed with our experience at Henhouse Cafe on Lindsay Rd. My wife’s chicken fried chicken was burnt to a crisp and completely inedible. The fried potatoes were just as bad—dry, overcooked, and flavorless. My chicken fried steak was mostly greasy breading with barely any meat, and both entrees had only enough gravy to cover half the meat. When we asked for more gravy, they said there would be an upcharge—seriously?
To make matters worse, they hid a $0.50 per egg surcharge only on signs on the bathroom doors—nowhere on the menu, and the server didn’t mention it. I only found out because I happened to use the restroom, then later saw the charge on the bill. That feels borderline fraudulent.
The only redeeming parts of the meal were the cinnamon French toast and the biscuits. Sadly, not enough to make up for the rest. Won’t be returning.

The food is so good and always cooked the way you ask. I told my server I liked my potatoes "slightly crispy" but not super crunchy...and they came out perfectly. That matters when the staff actually shows they listen. Generous portions, great service and the best breakfast sausage I've tried. I'm not a huge fan of the pancakes however because they put a lot of cinnamon in the mix. My suggestion is to have an option of cinnamon or non cinnamon pancakes.

We had breakfast at the Henhouse and tried the corned beef hash and machaca beef skillet with drinks. The fresh orange juice was amazing, the coffee was just okay, and the server was kind enough to let me swap bread for a giant cinnamon pancake that tasted like a snickerdoodle. Enjoyed breakfast at the henhouse. I had the corned beef hash and my husband had the machaca beef skillet along with orange juice and coffee. The orange juice was fantastic and tasted freshly squeezed, the coffee was just ok.
Our server was super sweet and allowed me to switch the bread to a small pancake for a small upcharge. The pancake was HUGE and delicious. It had a cinnamon flavor that reminded me of snicker doodle...so yummy!
Lots of ample seating throughout the restaurant. A good choice for anyone that loves breakfast.

We had such a great experience at Crackers & Co! Our server, Laurel, was absolutely fantastic — friendly, attentive, and on top of everything without ever making us feel rushed. My son and I came in for breakfast Friday morning at the Greenfield location and were seated immediately. There was such a selection to choose from that it took me a bit longer to decide. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I ordered the Traditional Breakfast with Chicken Fried Steak and Biscuits & Gravy. My son ordered the Brandied Blackberry Bread Pudding (he wasn't as hungry as he usually is). Your bread pudding was Marvelous, we both thought so. The icing wasn't overpowering. The gravy was Terrific and not too salty. ( We are picky about Gravy.) The biscuits were fluffy and tasty. The chicken fried steak was tender, hot, with the breading still crisp and I could cut it with a fork. I didn't need the steak knife provided to cut it up. We plan on returning to sample more of your selections.

This was my first time at Crackers and I have kind of mixed feelings about it. The decor and murals on the walls were really cute and it seemed really cozy. The location seemed like a strange place to have a restaurant, so it was a pleasant surprise to come inside and discover how really cute it was.
Our server was really nice, unfortunately I cannot remember his name. Seems like it may have started with a C? He did a good job.
The food was... okay. I had the crab cake benedict and there was nothing wrong with it at all, it just didn't wow me at all either. I've had that a couple of other places before, so was excited to see it on the menu here... but honestly, I wouldn't order it again.
Also, my potatoes had zero heat in them. I don't know how they managed that, being that we were some of the very first people there, one would think the potatoes would have been fresh off the griddle. I liked the style of them though and would love to have some hot ones to see how good they really are.
So overall, it was a really cute place with good service and mediocre food. I might consider going back and trying something totally different and see if I can give a higher rating, because they do have a pretty good selection of items, so maybe I need to go again sometime.
I will put an update in, if I go again and have something better.

Perfect place for a weekend breakfast. Normally there is not a wait when we go around 9am, but it gets busier when the winter visitors are in town. My wife and I were seated right away by the owner himself. The waitress was attentive but not overbearing. The food is second to none. Everything from the fried calamari to our pizza was amazing. We had ordered one regular Bloody Mary at the table which was enjoyed. I liked this, but it wasn’t anything special- it was very good. I guess what I’m getting at is that there wasn’t anything remarkable about it, but it was exactly what I ordered and was delicious. I’d get it again.
Our table ordered THE SNOOZE CLASSIC* (Three coge-free eggs cooked any style with your choice of ham, bacon, sausage, chorizo, pulled pork, chicken sausage or plant-based chorizo. Includes hash browns and choice of toast) which I’m told was good and as expected, the OMG! FRENCH TOAST (Fresh brioche stuffed with house-made mascarpone filling and topped with our house-made vanilla cream, caramel, fresh strawberries and toasted coconut. O. M. G.) which was super tasty and the envy of the table.
My partner ordered the PINEAPPLE UPSIDE DOWN PANCAKES (Signature house-mode buttermilk pancokes with caramelized pineapple chunks, house-made vanilla cream and cinnamon butter) which he wasn’t a huge fan of- his complaint was that all the pineapple was centered in the middle, and the pancakes are really big! So by the time he got to the middle he was full and sweetened out by the regular sweet pancakes. I had a couple bites and thought it was pretty good, but had a bit from the outside without any pineapple and so I’d probably agree with his assessment that if possible, the cooks might want to spread around the pineapple a bit 😎. He was jealous and wanted the OMG French toast 🤣. He also got chorizo and bacon, extra grilled, which were both good.
I had what was quite possibly the best Eggs Benedict I’ve had in my life: the PARMESAN-PANKO CRAB CAKE BENEDICT* (A griddled crab cake made from a blend of all lump and claw crab meat lightly crusted with our house-mode Parmesan-panko breederumbs atop a secsoned tomato slice and buttery brioche bose. Topped with an avocado, poached cage-free egg, house-mode cream cheese hollandaise, fresh dill and pistou drizzle.) It was beyond delicious. If you like crab cakes and eggs benedict, I’d highly advise that you try it!
Our server was very nice, accommodating, and ready with the jokes. We came here on a Sunday morning early, and it was BUSY but they sat us pretty quickly and we didn’t have to wait overly long for our food. This place is POPPIN’!
I’m not from the area, so I would’ve preferred to sit outside, and maybe next time we fly in to Arizona, we’ll do that! I was very impressed with Snooze as a chain restaurant.

One of the best and most welcoming breakfast places in town. One of the best things about this place was Tara (our server), she was an amazing as she explained everything in the menu, made sure we have no allergies or restrictions, provided us with recommendations and went above and beyond to make this a great experience.
Food was also great. We ordered OMG French toast and pancakes (original, strawberry, pumpkin spice, and cinnamon) everything was delicious 🤤 but I think my favorite was the original.
My only complaint is that their coffee isn't that great and the cups are very small. We ordered a cappuccino and a latte; both had way too much foam and the coffee didn't taste that great (compared to everything else).
Will definitely be back for more and I hope their coffee quality improves in the future

I went here with my girls because we wanted a late breakfast but I think we would have been better off going somewhere else. You have to park in the parking garage half a block away. The wait time was 55 mins to get a table, plus we were so hungry that we agreed to outdoor seating and the flies were all over our food eating our food so we couldn’t enjoy a single peaceful bite. Awful experience!! The juice and water glasses for all 3 of us were disgusting and filthy. I would see crumbs at the rim from not being washed well. The utensils also seems gross. The outdoor chairs didn’t have proper back support so my back started hurting after 10 mins. I just wanted to get out of that place very quickly. I don’t recommend this place at all! The pineapple pancake wasn’t all that special, you can make it at home with some bits of pineapple, it wasn’t all that great.

Have been wanting to try Snooze for quite awhile now and never got the chance to while in other cities. Daughter had the chocolate chip pancakes and I had the classic. Portions were HUGE! And delicious!! Plating was really cute for the classic. My daughter is the world’s pickiest eater so finding somewhere that she will enjoy is always a blessing. We went for my birthday brunch with my boyfriend. The Lovely Tammy (i hope i spelled it right) was our server, she did not only suggested a great meal but she also paid attention to details to our orders. We had an awesome first time at Snooze! Tara our waitress was exceptional and guided us to the best things on the menu. We traditional the Ham Benedict the 3rd and the Pork belly fried rice. The Benedict had a perfectly toasted English muffin, thin ham, and a perfect poached egg with just the right amount of hollandaise. The fried rice was an explosion of delicious flavor and very unique. We cleaned our plates and then because it was our first time they gave us a Pumpkin pecan pie pancake on the house. It was my first time here as my sister recommended. Loved the setup and atmosphere. The food was really good as our entire party chose something different. Drinks were priced really good and the service was awesome. Thanks for a great experience and we'll definitely return if we're ever in the region.

The OPH is a long time Scottsdale breakfast OG must try. They have unique breakfast items that you won't see in other restaurants. The breakfast menu is big. I believe that they only use cash; that might have changed. I would check on this before going, You must try this place once if you live in the valley or are visiting Scottsdale for business or leisure travel. This cafe is amazing, great service , AZ locally owned , such a sweet and hard working owner. Served us herself. Grateful to have eaten here. First time here with husband and daughter for brunch. Was seated fast, cute decor and things for sale upon entering. Very antique and out-dated atmosphere you would likely see in Sun City. Service was ok, not super friendly. Daughter had a Philly cheese steak and fries, big sandwich and she liked it ok. I ordered the Country Breakfast with 2 pancakes, eggs, sausage and my husband ordered the same except with bacon. Our meals were about $13 each, $4 per drink which I was shocked at a place like this one, and we added a full order of biscuits and gravy to share for $10. All in all, our bill was $60 before tip for the three of us. It wasn't a bad meal, but we've paid the same or less amount for the same or better quality. They gave us 20% off but I doubt we will be back. It's kind of out of our way but if you're local I would say it would be definitely somewhere to go if you're looking for a certain atmosphere.

The Ham n Yams meal was fabulous 👌. The ham was perfectly prepared. The pineapple slice was not a cheap slice from a can. The greenbeans were fresh and yummy, again not from a can. The Yams were perfect too. They were so light, fluffy and full of flavor. The server was great. What ruins the visit is the boy on the register. I inquired about a Veteran discount as I am Retired Military and some places have it. He became arrogant as if I asked for free. That wasn't the case. I live in Anthem so not sure if or when I will be back.

Under new management and not to be missed !
Came here for dinner tonight after having not having been here in a year and were pleasantly surprised by the facelift that this diner has experienced. The new owner ripped out the tired, funky old carpets and replaced it with new flooring and took down all the plates that lined the walls. Gone are the arts n crafts for a nicer more welcoming and approachable entrance area. The food is very good and the new owner was open to suggestions on the menu and eager to make sure our meal was correct. They still serve RC cola which made us happy.
Our meal was very good and we left full and happy. We will definitely be back to support this young business owner .

Saw an ad for this on FB, kids eat free in June, so we stopped in. My husband, toddler and I are big breakfast fans and this place did not disappoint. Every part of the meal was perfection. Pancakes. Fun place to eat. I came with my sister for brunch, the energy and food was great. Our waiter was very patient and helpful, the food is amazing. I would recommend to friends and family. The only downside I have is the music, while upbeat and great songs, was a bit too loud. I couldn't have a conversation without yelling at my sister across the table.

Went to the Chandler location & enjoyed the chilaquilles, make your own omelet w/ gyro lamb & beef, cherry tomatoes, onions, spinach, avocado & mushrooms with df goat cheese mixed into the egg batter. Both dishes were flavorful & worth the drive out of my way. The passionfruit, pineapple, lime & grenadine mocktail was a nice sweet drink that complimented my omelet perfectly. The sangria was a great compliment to the chilaquilles. Zeus our server was very welcoming, friendly & attentive. And the DJ played a great variety of current & past upbeat songs.

Brand new spot in Mesa right by the Westgate Painted Mountain Golf Resort, and it’s already one of my favorites. My wife and I have known the owner, Stephanie, for a while — she was our go-to server at a couple other restaurants, and when we found out she and her husband opened this place, we had to follow her. Service has always been top notch, and it’s no different here.
The food? 🔥 Literally. Everything is cooked in a legit wood-fired oven, and you can taste the difference. Pizzas, calzones, fine wines — all done right. They’ve also got indoor and outdoor seating, and the atmosphere is classy without being pretentious. Think first date or anniversary dinner vibe, but also big enough to host large parties.
Prices are reasonable — a little more than your chain diners, but not as pricey as the big steakhouses. Definitely worth it for the quality and the service you’re getting.
Big bonus: they’ve got Luca, a real Italian guy with the accent and everything. Makes the place feel authentic, like you’re getting the full Italian experience right here in Mesa.
Only thing I’d tweak? The menu is a little hard to read — but my wife says I’m just being picky and that it’s classy, so I’ll let that slide.
Overall, highly recommend checking out Pizzicata. Great food, great people, great vibe. This place is going to be a Mesa staple.

My friend and I ate breakfast there on Wednesday, October 15. The menu prices were very reasonable. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. I ordered the Carbonara Scramble which consisted of bacon, sausage, onion and cheddar jack cheese scrambled with 2 eggs. It also came with a slice of toast made from homemade bread. The price was $13.

The service was top-notch — attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between casual and elegant, with beautiful artwork and a warm, welcoming vibe.
This building holds a lot of memories for me. I used to work here when it was a country club restaurant called Camelot under Chef Donna Handcock. I started as a dishwasher and worked my way up to breakfast cook when I was just 18. It’s changed ownership and names a few times since then, and I don't believe it's connected to the golf course anymore — but it was really special to return and see how beautifully it's been transformed.

Amazing brunch spot. Service was fantastic, my drink was always full, and we were able to order quickly and received our food within about 15-20 minutes even with a large party. I want to start by saying I read reviews before I came in. Close to 90% said order these and now I know why. Enchiladas de Mole were as advertised if not better. I had never even had mole prior to this and now I doubt anything will ever be as good. It was amazing and the staff was attentive and kind and patient and everything you would hope when visiting a restaurant for the first time. Thank you for the experience!

A while back I went there and ordered three items. The chicken enchiladas suiza was a specific price when paying cash. I should have known to let this be my first and last time since two of the items we're flavorless (mujita..above the enchiladas and a small side of beans).
The enchilada was very good and piping hot and the chips were hot.
Yesterday I ordered the chicken enchilada suiza and the cash price was more expensive. There was very little white sauce on it and it was lukewarm at best and the chips were cold. I only live a mile away.
The mujita that I ordered had chicken and not asada.
The enchiladas are approximately $18 and to the best of my knowledge that's all you get is three with no sides. They definitely are not worth that especially when they're served cold with very little white sauce and very little of the toppings it's supposed to come with it.
Someone else posted that they thought this restaurant was not about the quality of food but about ambience, decorations and their weekend parties and I tend to agree.
The food is extremely expensive for what you get and how terrible it tastes.

First off , service was excellent. The girl who took care of us was super friendly and really knew the menu. She was cheerful and that goes a long way with us. I ordered the mole enchiladas and it did not disappoint . Mole sauce is house made and was sooo good. Rice and beans were super good too. The chips and salsa were a perfect start. Music is kind of loud and more for the younger crowd (us) but not sure if I would bring my grandma here since she would probably not like the music. We got a deal from Groupon for LA Casa De LasFlores to try something new. We were a little skeptical looking at the outside and seeing how it was setup inside. This restaurant doubles as an Event Hall. We had great service from the moment we walked in. Everyone was friendly and helpful, honest Mexican hospitality. They had a good selection on the menu, and everything sounded great. Our food was very good and good portions. They had 2 for 1 margaritas so we tried a couple, and they did not disappoint. The only thing I was unhappy about was if you have a Groupon, you do not get the 2 for 1 special on margaritas, which does not make any sense. The Groupon is only $35, and our bill was over $100 before the tip. Food is reasonable priced. We just wanted to try many different things so we had a larger bill, there was also 3 of us. The atmosphere is ok and they had someone singing live. He was a good singer and sounded very good, but it was really just karaoke he was doing. It felt a little cheesy. Went to eat breakfast at about 7:30ish. It had only 2 other customers there. The service is amazing. This is the second time we have visited. We got the Menudo which they only have on the weekend. My dad said it was a nice heat level. Then my mom got a banana pancakes which as you can see are delicious looking. She loved them. While I got the chilaquiles trio which had all three styles plus eggs and carne asada. It had all the levels of delicious heat. I definitely recommend this place.
But! If you are someone who gets a headache easily, know that they play music pretty loudly so if that is not your jam definitely reconsider. Their music is absolutely on point though. Love it!

I was sat immediately, food came hot and fresh with little wait time. I would not recommend the red sauce as it had no flavor but both green sauces were fantastic. The overall experience here was good. The place is clean the staff are friendly and to my liking some of the food is pretty good. We are a family of 4 so here’s what we had.
Husband ordered the tostadas de chicharrón which were very good. I had the chilaquiles DF also delicious and a big portion. I love cafe de olla so that was a must have. Everyone has different taste buds and opinions and my was the coffee was on the too sweet side compared to others I’ve had. I also tried one of the mini concha ( again honestly bread was a bit too dry)
My daughter had the chicken and waffle ( the chicken is thin and crispy very well seasoned) for my little one we ordered the kids plate it comes with a pancake ( this was the saddest one, the pancake was dry it had an after taste definitely it was not our fave). Atmosphere was pretty good too, the music was a bit too high I think. I kinda had to speak on a higher tone in order for my husband whom was sitting across from me to hear. Your experience may vary, but mine was poor. "Modern" doesn't have to mean "different", and this restaurant is like a fusion of strange choices and classic dishes.
I'm sure Chilaquiles has better tasting menu options, and in all fairness, ordering an American style breakfast at a Mexican style restaurant is probably my fault; but if the option is on the menu, it should taste at least as good as every other similar option.
The eggs were watery, the potatoes were seasoned but were undercooked (like, actually raw), the bacon tasted like it was fried in turkey grease, and the French toast was dry and flavorless. There was really nothing good about my experience, and $18 felt like a ripoff. There's a chance I just got a bad plate, because everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals (albeit everyone else ordered Mexican style meals).
I can see this being a fun place to go to for dinner on the weekdays after 7pm, as the restaurant seems more geared towards alcohol. I probably will not be returning anytime soon.

We have been coming to this spot when it was Salty Senorita, Mad Dog Saloon and no the Hub Grill and Bar. So proximity, 5 out of 5, we are very close and love the location. The staff have always been friendly and fast, the place is always clean. There are games to play which is fun watching others (we don't play) and tons of TVs. The pricing is reasonable, the menu is extensive and the taste and portion size is always up to par. We were a group of four and came in last night to celebrate Father's Day and all our food was so tasty. After our dinner we all talked about how we've never had a bad experience here and we need to be better at remembering to come!

My husband and I stopped in The Hub and tried their Cajun dry rub wings with a beer and glass of wine. They were rhe best wings we've ever had. Our server Andrea was outstanding. Even though the restaurant was busy, we felt like we were her only table. Our meal was also great! We strongly recommend.

We got the pot roast sandwich, and raspberry chipotle wings and Cajun rub wings. Also got the sparkling strawberry margarita. Our server seemed preoccupied with everyone else. But recently every restaurant ive been to lately they just want your order and don’t ask if there was anything else. The male who dropped off the food was the only person to ask if there was anything else we wanted or needed. Did take a little time to get our second appetizer in probably because the waitress was assuming we came for booze and a couple of wings. Otherwise pricing was good, food was great. The portions here are UNBELIEVABLE! You will not leave hungry. They have lots of tables to seat families and a private dining area for larger parties. My kids ordered the kids pancake platter and it was at least 12” in diameter, plus it came with eggs and sausage or bacon. The blueberry lemon mascarpone pancakes are delicious and thick! My only suggestion is that they give you a pizza cutter for cutting up these giant pancakes.
Skyler was our waitress and she was very attentive. The manager came by and checked on us to make sure we were well taken care of.
Bottom line… the prices are great, the portions are HUGE, freshly made, and delicious, and the service was great! We will be back again.

Surprised my boyfriend with breakfast and he ended up feeling defeated. He loves pancakes so he ordered 2. What we did was underestimate the size of these pancakes. Their specialty is breakfast and it won't disappoint. All breakfast related items had good flavor, nice portions, including the pancake stack. However, tue Cuban sandwich wasn't as good as other Cuban sandwiches I had here in Phoenix, Los Angeles and Miami. Service is great and our server was attentive and on point all the time.

Henhouse cafe started as a small operation in 2010 and has grown to four locations here in AZ. They are located in Mesa, two in Gilbert, and the fourth just opened in Tempe. They have won "Best of Gilbert" awards for many years. We ate at the 3rd installment right across the road from Sloan Park in Mesa.
My HH breakfast sandwich was delicious. It's a large biscuit with fried chicken, cheddar cheese, bacon, fried egg, and gravy. The kids could only eat less than half of the huge chocolate chip pancakes. These were big, but the "mom's famous pancake" we saw come out to other tables was huge! The Texas benedict was a fun twist on a favorite; carnitas on cornbread with green chile hollandaise.
Everything was tasty and the farmhousedecor was cute. We all walked out full and with leftovers. They offer 10% off daily for service members and 15% on Mondays. Check out this great breakfast option in the East Valley.

I cannot speak to the subject of the food, as we did not have the opportunity to eat here as we had planned.
As in the past, I am always looking for new places to take my family to eat. This particular weekend was no different, with a few exceptions: 1st, when we arrived, I had to go to the restroom after my wife and daughter had let the hostess know the count of our party. The wait was rather short despite the place being relatively packed. (This part turned out to be the only positive experience we were going to have)
According to my wife and daughters, the hostess was very rude toward them getting them seated and quickly preceeded to make a massive point about my coconut water, which I have been drinking all of my life and have taken to literally every restaurant on this planet. I had only 1 restaurant prior to this 1 which had asked me if I would mind at least pouring in their glass as to not promote outside beverages. (No problem) and we continued our dining w/ pleasure. Not at this location. Without so much as a respectful or tactful approach, I was met by a forceful manager, backed by a owner whom neither even cared to hear a word I actually had to say. I attempted to explain I have never, nor ever will consume alcohol, so the "alcohol" conversation is honestly mute point. Az law does not actually prohibit anyone from bringing their own non-alcoholic beverage into a restaurant, True reason is loss of revenue, not being understanding, accommodating, while simultaneously being aggressive and rude is the best deturant of revenue. If the concern is they could choke, then that could happen w/ their products, why not offer a liability waiver? Anyway, I guess you would have to be there to experience how smug, rude and overall unwelcoming they all were. Here is a suggestion, instead of being prices about ur "policy" try offering your guest a similar replacement drink on the house instead of a smug glass of attitude. Ultimately we ended up at a much nicer location, food their was excellent, & not an eye batted at my coconut water.

I couldn’t bear to shop, and that has always been a favorite part of the Cracker Barrel experience for me. I used to spend Lots of time and money in the store, but the combination of Christmas music and Monstrous Temu Huge plastic animals was overwhelming & distracting from the lovely clothing, collectibles, home accents, tasteful toys, and all those hidden gems we’ve grown to love.
I couldn’t wait to get out of there.

Love the country charm and decor. The little store inside was cute and fun to shop for unique finds. I found it off there were about five workers roaming the store side and following you around and commenting on items you picked out. I put an item back and was asked about it. Really weird feeling. First, Nicole, with her unique braids, genuine smile, and positive attitude. She was incredibly attentive, juggling multiple tables with ease while still making us feel seen and cared for. She clearly knows her job well and made sure everything was taken care of. Her professionalism and great sense of humor really stood out, especially during the early morning hours.

I got my order to go. The restaurant wasn't busy or crowded. I asked for my hash browns extra crispy with cheese. Well, the extra crispy didn't happen. They were more undercooked and soggy. The serving size seemed like a kids size serving. They got the cheese right. Even my bacon wasn't crispy. I enjoyed my pancakes, thank goodness for that. To my absolute shock, the T-bone steak was actually pretty good. It was very thin, but the flavor was really good. The eggs were cooked just like I wanted them. Looking at the burgers that were being delivered, Denny’s has really stepped up its game. I did not taste them, but they looked amazing, like the ones you see at the trendy burger places.
