Depending on the room you get our shower and toilet were great in our room. Other room had a noisy toilet. Air conditioning felt like a swamp cooler, humid in room which left your bed or clothes hanging in open closet feeling slightly damp. Mattress more on the firm side. Sheets kind of scratchy, not the softest. TVs in room are old box tvs with maybe 5 channels. No mini fridge, no microwave, no hairdryers in rooms. Upon requesting a mini fridge for insulin supplies we were able to get one in room. No ice machine available on floor. The restaurant and pool are also closed. Cute gift shop. Harrahs has a private beach and although open, the pajamas were unavailable, you couldn't bring your own umbrellas and so many restrictions, geared to increase income for Harrahs that it wasn't worth going. It was early September and close 100 so, why the beach was basically unusable, I dont know. We used ro visit Laughlin regularly, loved Harrahs but will never go again.

Asked for housekeeping to clean our room and change our sheets and get trash and I asked three times and still never showed up. The lady that was checking out that day was very rude and rolled her eyes at us like we were a burden to check out. They have the option of checking out on your tv but it was not working. Finally got our luggage after we called and raised cane because they weren’t here finally got there and we were the last ones to check in and just made it to our plain. There's a small dock and a little beach with a lot of stairs to both. The strong current is NOT kidding. If you want a more relaxing swim go to Rotary Park. Also has two fairly large areas for lounging out and looking at the river (too hot to use either while we were visiting) It's really close to the Black Bear diner, Southern Maid donuts, a Dollar Tree and Safeway. (All within walking distance even in 115 degrees) They have a machine to fill bottles with filtered water and I think I saw a vending machine for soda. I don't know if it's there all the time but a truck with a trailer was parked in the area to the ramp most of the time that we were there. There were some minor maintenance issues. A towel ring wasn't technically attached to the wall. One of the sliding closet doors was more of a pick up and move over door. The freezer wasn't very cold but looked like it was set as low as it could go. The fan in the bathroom sounded like a jet engine. The kitchen faucet was missing the cap and needed to be cleaned. Super easy fixes: A towel holder needed a screw tightened. One of the glasses was broken. One of the hangers was broken. The utensils were terrible, the edges seemed almost jagged (almost like the manufacturer, cut them, molded them into shape and decided to skip sanding the edges).
