I entered on the Stamford side which has two levels of parking lots that are smaller and fill up quickly. I parked by the old red barn and walked over the bridge and entered the trailhead at the starting point. If you don’t want the car at the beach just say so and provide electric bikes and scooters at the main entrance especially since it’s a sight seeing park as well. The price seriously is dumb for cars but perfect for people walking. $10 was a fabulous price. The water isn’t as crystal clear anymore like the ones in the photos but the beach is definitely high rated on the low (Don’t think many know about it). The more people find out about it (especially the ones that don’t care to take care of the beach only party and trash things) you later realize is us destroy our nice things. I’ll be honest I was a little intimidated at 1st as I was the only black man at the beach at that particular time and I’ve never been in neighborhoods with higher white people ratio plus you had to drive through a lot of big big houses resulting you questioning if you’re in the right place exploring but so far I’ve been having a great time. I’m usually separated from people in general but I did encounter some very sweet people along with the grinch!!! So honestly color don’t mean anything to me.
