I hiked this trail 3 days in a row. Each day I went a little bit further. It snowed about 6 inches on top of the existing snow. There were fallen old trees here that other parks I've been too would have chain sawed through maintaining the path. Many of the little ribbons that were used to mark the trail are no longer there. The Alaska state park system is asking for people to get hurt by not saying they aren't maintaining this trail. My recommendation is to skip this section and enjoy the Point Bridget trail instead.
