I went on a summer weekday afternoon and the parking lot was full, but there was some room for street parking. The path down to the beach is not long (it took less than a couple minutes), but it is uneven, and at the very end there are rocks that could be challenging to walk on. This is our absolute favorite beach for day trips. I love that we can let the dogs run around since there's a natural staircase to get to the beach that means the sand is a level down from street level.

The trail down to the water is only 5min walk. It's a little tricky, and steep in spots, if you stuggle with balance or mobility. No railings. Definitely not ADA accessible.

What a great stop coming from Jewell Meadows! Make sure to put in GPS for Lee wooden county park. It was a quick turn after you see the brown park sign, small parking area and doesn't list info about the trail. You will see it off to the right and between trees. It took about 20 mins max to walk in and reach the falls. We stopped to take pictures and walked slowly to enjoy the scenery. 7 months pregnant and it was so easy for me. Flat rock trail and we were the only ones there for the entire time. Maybe about an hour total. We sat at the picnic bench and had a nice snack and listened to the nature sounds before heading back. One other car in parking lot then showed up. What an amazing little stop and hidden gem :)!!

Great hiking trails and scenery. Also, the largest oldest living tree in Oregon once stood here! Visit was in early March 2018.
No public bathrooms. Pet friendly but bring your own poop bags. Kid friendly, the creek is a great place to cool down.
Fishing I have not yet participated in, but plenty of times we've driven by to see them catching fish. Oregon is an amazing place to see.

I only stopped off of OR-53 for a few photos of the bridge and a little of the surrounding area, but I recommend this park for anyone (photographers especially) that are looking to take some rural or nature shots 🏞️. It's absolutely gorgeous! I had fun at this quaint and well maintained park as well as on/around the bridge with my camera. Definitely worth stopping for & I plan on coming back soon to adventure & shoot some photos for a few hours!

Stumbled across this small Park one afternoon, it was a great find and a good place to stretch your legs while traveling the coast. Sadly I do not believe there are any live old-growth to view but there are a couple of cut old growth redwoods, and some history about the trees as well. I had so much fun on the Mountain Bike trails! WOW! I found myself whooping out loud on the downhills, they were a blast! It was really challenging not putting a foot down on the lower, switchback, uphill section of the Greenwood trail. Thank you for making these trails! I will absolutely be back again! Amazingly fun mountain biking!! Our favorite section was the fantastic loop and downhill section after the top of the Upper Low Tide trail, well worth that last uphill push!

It’s small and quaint but has a large well kept grassy area for kids to run around with picnic tables. It has a half quart basketball court, and some play structures.
