Brunch/lunch kind of place. I got a simple breakfast of eggs once over easy, biscuit and grits. Hubby got Huevos Rancheros. The tea selection had all natural ingredients with unique combinations of spices. It’s a popular place, so expect a little wait. Ours was only 5 minutes.

Great place for brunch — even the lunch and breakfast menus have a wide variety of options! I noticed a nice mix of Hispanic and American dishes, which gave the menu a unique and flavorful twist. The plates are very generous; portions are big, so come hungry. The food isn’t oily at all, which I really appreciated.

I love to eat! And I’ve never rated anyplace better BUT this place definitely deserved my time! I’ve lived here all my life and I finally gave Arabella a try! I never liked eating downtown because of the parking. But thank the Lord that I did! Because this place is absolutely amazing! Hands down the best breakfast around by far! Me and my husband went yesterday to have breakfast and 10/10 was super good. I ordered a Macchiato, best coffee I’ve had in a long time. And food we got the Cuban sandwich and one of the breakfast bowls with chorizo, home fries, scrambled eggs and chipotle crema it was so good. I would 100% recommend and would come back. But HenDough....wow!! I LOVE this restaurant!! I got the Nashville Hot Chicken biscuit (with no pickles because I hate pickles 🤮) with a side of smoked gouda macaroni and cheese. It was unbelievable!! The chicken was perfect but that macaroni was out of this world!! I haven't stopped thinking about HenDough since that day. I wish there was one in Boiling Springs SC so I could eat there everyday! The owner was absolutely awesome and seemed like such a good guy. We did get some doughnuts too and they were phenomenal!! Its my new favorite restaurant ❤️

This place is amazing! You order at the counter and can take it to go or seat yourself. There's seating upstairs, too. They give you a buzzer to grab your food when it's ready.
They have coffee and a coke fountain machine. The donuts are amazing and fresh. We took a few with us when we were done. The biscuits with sausage gravy was like mom makes! I have been to Black Bear three times over my recent visit to Hendersonville. Each visit has been very pleasant. Clearly the staff have a connection with locals which I appreciat. I had single origin Counter Culture from nicaragua--a solid coffee in the light range. While it was piping hot at 7, it had lost some of its warmth when I came in at 8:30. The dark chocolate/raspberry scone was excellent with both flavors spread generously through the scone. The scone had a crisp texture which I prefer to the softer, doughier forms. My wife enjoyed a pumpkin muffin from the texture standpoint but could have used a tad more cinnamon. I had a chocolate croissant the previous day and the chocolate to croissant ratio was much more than i had typically found at many other coffee shops.

When my food came out (which was like 5 minutes after ordering), I could not believe how big the portions were. The pancakes come with strawberries, whipped cream, powdered sugar (I choose to go without), and butter. They also bring you a glass bottle of hot syrup! The pancakes and strawberries were so delicious. The grits were delicious as well. They come with a side of butter. I quickly observed that Kosta's is a place that the locals frequent. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area. The menu has lots to choose from (breakfast and lunch). You won't be disappointed.

Sam was our waitress and she was a delight.
My sister in law ordered the egg, pancake and bacon breakfast a d enjoyed it very much.
My brother got the sausage and egg sandwich, with an extra egg on the Fireside’s homemade rye bread. It was large and tasty and he loved the homemade stone ground grits.

Wow am I happy we stopped at Pop’s on our road trip. Not only is the inside of the diner and the color palette exactly how I imagine a 50’s diner would’ve looked, the burgers we got were PHENOMENAL. I completely forgot our servers name but it started with an L. My complaint is that I sat eating, looking at an empty messy table for a solid 20 minutes mimimum. I watched a server pick the cash tip off the table, but nothing else. Trying to be as considerate as I can with this review. My family and I’s experience was during a busy lunch rush on a Sunday, so I’m trying to take that into consideration.
The food was fresh and tasty, and the place was relatively clean. We did have to wait 15 minutes for a server, but that comes with being busy. However, other than our server, I have never seen such a rude staff and customers.
I was walking around getting my plate, maybe standing 6 feet from the buffet and a piece of pepperoni started to fall off of it, so I quickly grabbed it and just naturally ate it quickly (I’m also a diabetic and my blood sugar was dropping so I wasn’t thinking that I had just ate near the buffet). A staff member started to berate me and talked to me as if I was a child. I understand the concern for the health standards of the area, but it was the tone and the way the gentleman talked to me that made me feel very upset. I apologized and walked away and he still continued until I was far enough away.
When my wife came back from getting her plate her first comment was “I have never been to such a rude Golden Corral”.
Apparently a staff member also talked to her super rudely for standing and looking at options for food because she was standing in front of the door not realizing it, and it was the way the staff member talked to her that made her so upset
Again, we both know what we had done was partially our fault, but the attitude and tone of the staff absolutely baffled me.
I understand it is a very stressful environment and there were many patrons, but I do believe there could’ve been a better way to go about things.
We will hopefully return next time we are in town, but hopefully it’s less busy so there’s no altercations.

Super awesome experience! I don't usually leave a review unless something really sticks out to me. We did a quick drive thru order and waited in the line. We were probably 5 or more cars away from the pick up window and they brought our order to us. But that's not the best part, the young employee who brought us our food moved the cones around so we didn't have to wait for all the other cars to get their order! The last two times I’ve been here it honestly was terrible, not just the food but the service, our waitress was terrible too but my mom who lives near by said she went recently and it was turned around so my wife and I gave It a shot and maaaaaan it was exactly as I remember as the yummy diner food from when I was a teenager.
Jesse was our server and he was on point making sure we were good, Jonathan came out to check on us being he is the manager and we then found out he also was the cook to which we gave kudos because the food was the best it’s been since the very first time we ever have gone.

I asked one of the girls prepping the food if I could hey my order as I cant keep waiting in my car, she said they are backed up and I have to wait, so I ask to please check for my order and she said not ready, wait another 10 min and I asked someone else and guess what? My order was ready by the drive through section, at this point all cold and gross. So the first person I asked didn’t even check. I would never come back here and food prep was awful too

Joeys is SO SO good. We got a sausage egg and cheese on an Asiago bagel and it was to die for. We also got the turkey Ruben on a pumpernickel bagel which was incredibly good too. Giving 2 stars because the staff is always nice and polite here. I work in fast food so I know all the struggles but quality of food from this location is horrible. My drink is always good , but never food. Hash browns have obviously sat for hrs and I got a doughnut today that had paper stuck to it still where someone ripped the rest of it off. This is clearly a food safety issue. Food that has sat past it’s holding time does not temp correctly , therefore is a health violation. Please keep this all in mind when you visit this location.
