Ordered fish, chips, prawns, scallops & crab sticks. The battered snapper was quiet nice. The crab sticks under cooked & the prawns & scallops were frozen pre-crumbed as I watched the man defrost them in the microwave. The concerning aspect was the shortfall of safe food handling practices. The man sneezed repeatedly next to the food prep area with no attempt to cover his mouth. He also wiped his nose with the back of his hand. He handled all the food with bare hands & served customers at the counter inbetween cooking. The only time he washed his hands was after dipping the fish in batter. We considered refusing to accept the order & only accepted it after seeing the food was not handled once out of the fryer which surely killed any pathogens. Still, it did not set the scene for an enjoyable meal. We won't be back as food safety is a high priority when eating out.
