But coming off this last year we were just excited to be playing. The park itself is awesome. It has a track that wraps around they entire east end and really all 4 fields. It's divided into a west and east end. Both with 2 full size softball/baseball fields for kids. Bathrooms that were open and both had sinks and soup which is a rarity these days. The weather can get cool in the evening which I absolutely loved and is in the heart of East Cardiff area. One of my favorite places in North County and I hope that next season is a little bit better experience for me and my daughter. Although honestly nothing to complain about, I think it was most likely coming out of a year long hiatus and people just busy and maybe a bit overwhelmed and under staffed, possibly. The park has 2 out door batting/pitching cages. The league also has 2 pitching machines and they give us access to them all season. That was amazing in my book and it was a shame that we didn't utilize the equipment there. As a coach I was really looking forward to setting them up every time we practiced.
