Amazing food and cozy ambiance with den kind basement sitting. Relished on Parsi style kheema pav, mutton seekh kabab and most favorite mutton dhansak with brown rice with amazing Irish coffee. The staff is warm, welcoming and Gangaram took well care of us. Service is quick and food presentation is also nice. Loved the place and definitely recommended when you are in Mahabaleshwar. We visited this place for its highly-rated food, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The Strawberry Wine was a standout and worth trying. We ordered the Burger and their famous Mutton Keema Pav – both were absolutely delicious and finger-licking good.
The café is small and cozy, with quick service and a clean washroom. Parking isn’t available on-site, but you can leave your vehicle at the municipal corporation parking and walk about 400 meters to get here. The menu offers a wide variety of food and beverages, so there’s something for everyone.

Had heard about this res from YouTube and decided to visit it while in Mahabaleshwar. We reached there at around 2:45pm and the restaurant closes at 3pm but still the owner was kind enough to let us dine in. Seating area is limited with 2 tables outside some tables on the ground floor and a big family table on top. The ambiance is good tho. We ordered the crispy soft shell crab burger with chips. The quantity was good but the pricing is on the higher side. The burger was delicious with an entire fried crab in it. The service is ok, better to order everything you want at once. Will visit this place again to try out some other dishes.

My experience at The Sizzler Place was excellent! We ordered both Chinese and Sizzlers (all vegetarian), and the food was delicious. I especially appreciated that they customized the dishes to make them kid-friendly, just as we requested. The preparation was quick too, which made the experience even better.

The ambience is good for evening.
The staff is quite humble and understanding.
Food quality is decent for the price range.
If you like tangy, do try their drunken chicken which is quite tasty with tangy ness. Also do mention your spicy preference.
Next what they are famous of their sizzlers.
It wasn't quite impressive but yes the taste was decent. I would give them 3.7 for that as the rice was not that tasty the rest veggies and chicken was good.
Virgin Mojito was the best of the mocktails, the presentation was good the quantity is good.
Blue Lagoon was not that good as it turned it too sweet.
2 Things that personally didn't like about this place.
1. After order it takes about 45-50 mins for your food to arrive. It took almost 20 mins for the mocktails as well.
2. I think the prices are on the higher side.
Apart from everything this is the place you don't want to miss.

This is a small bakery established in 1849 and is located in the main market of Mahabaleshwar. It's a small but well decorated shop with cakes & pastries on one side and snacks & puffs on the other side stacked.
We tried their mawa cake, banana cake which were tasty ( specially the mawa cake).
The sausage rolls and patties were good too and is recommended for people visiting this small hill station.

Although the name has "Dairy" mentioned, no dairy products are prepared or sold here.
At the counter, one will come across Mr.Bevan who is the 3rd generation D'Souza. He is a perfect gentleman and his service, nature , attitude is too good....inshort Bevan is an excellent human being. Thank you Bevan.
Coming back to the bakery, a must try is their Carrot and Date Cake, Banana Raisin Loaf, Mava Cake, Jam tarts, Choco chip cookies, ginger biscuit, prawn pattice and Chicken sausage roll.
The Nankatai biscuits (felt a bit underbaked) but I loved them and the Fig and Cashew Pie ( less moist) can be considered too.
Overall a nice place with lots of goodies to choose from and chat with an excellent host in the form of Mr. Bevan.

Best restaurant out of the four at Le Méridien. It's open only for dinner and the seating capacity is limited, so getting a place on weekend is difficult.

Experience was literally abysmal. Firstly it was confirmed by them first on whatsapp then at the restaurant that Rann Chingari is available but it was later communicated that same is not available. Also, the plate served was semi-washed (pic attached). While tandoori roti was not ordered but same was brought alongside other breads. Difficult to comprehend as to how can such a reputed chain unleash these unacceptable errors in their service to a customer. Entire evening of ours was screwed!

We had a lovely time at Chingari! The atmosphere was lovely and the food was exceptional. However, the winner that night was the service. Talented chefs, accommodating waiting staff, and a warm welcome is what we experienced here. My sister and her fiancé (not pictured) even got a congratulatory cake that the staff got together and baked for us. What a beautiful hidden cafe this is, located in Dream Land Hotel Mahableswar, very close to the ST stand. We tried their stuffed garlic bread which was freshly baked, seems like they make their bread in house which was absolutely amazing! We opted for their lasagne which was filled with delicious flavors of tomato, veggies and cheese. The best part was the quality of cheese, it was really fresh and delicious. First thing first..food is quite and would really recommend for a good meal. Now about other things .. parking space can suffice max 4-5 cars. Sitting arrangements include both indoor and outdoor. Outdoor space looks bigger than indoors. Food service is good and quick. We visited for lunch and there was very less crowd but I am guessing in the evening time the restaurant would be more happening. Staff is following all basic rules about pandemic times. It is located at a prime place which is very near to the mall road and main market. My experience was decent enough and I will be looking forward to visiting here again.

Very famous old restaurant from Mumbai that started half a century ago.. One thing i fail to realize how after so many years of operations they still cannot manage it better.
After food and Ambience what matters is Service service service.. and the team (which is not a team) at Mahabaleshwar royally ruins it up. Neither the management nor the service staff has any clue how to not mess up.
It's a veg restaurant and the food is good according to most.. although it can be better. Also for veg food it's way too expensive.

Initially I was skeptical about the ambience & quality of food. But it all changed for good once I reached there. Excellent food, ambience, service. V were made to sit outdoors where the temperature was below than 15 degrees but at every table there was this tower heater ( never seen before) thus we enjoyed the cold breeze, on the other hand were warm and comfortable. We recently visited Sahyadri Restaurant and Dhaba on the Mahabaleshwar-Pratapgarh road, based on an Instagram reel review and a friend's recommendation. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.
We arrived around 2:45 PM on a Sunday and ordered 8 chicken thalis and 1 Punjabi thali. After waiting for 20 minutes, we asked for an update and were told it would take another 10 minutes. This continued until 3:45 PM, but our order was still not served. Meanwhile, customers who arrived after us were being served their meals.
Despite expressing our frustration, there was no improvement in the service, and after multiple attempts to get an update, we were still left waiting. Some customers even left after waiting for their orders.
Finally, our food arrived at 4:00 PM. The taste of the food was just okay—not exceptional. The delay and poor service completely overshadowed the meal.
This restaurant may attract a large crowd, but the service is incredibly slow and disappointing. I won’t be returning and would advise others to reconsider if you're looking for timely service and quality customer care.

Looks Okayish but food is the mqin highlight, it's prepared by elder women and better than the fqncy restaurants I tried here so far. The location is not accurate.
