I love this place. I have literally gone to Breckenridge just to shop there. I used to get my Alpaca socks there as well as hats. Lately though the quality of some of the socks is not as good IMO. I bought 2 pair that ended up with holes relatively quickly. Too far to drive just to return socks.Of course prices have gone up too. Overall still love going there to shop.

I have been shopping at Joy of Sox for years, as it is the only shop you need to go to when looking for unique and fun birthday and holiday gifts (and then I always pick up gifts for myself). They have the largest selection of socks in all sizes, and the accessories are incredible for people of all ages. I purchased YETI fuzzy slippers for my nephew's 2 year old birthday and the parents told me he refuses to take them off. They have "bear" fuzzy slippers too! The boutique has items you could never imagine, so it is by far the best store to get gifts! Thank you for also having such a great and helpful staff!

Cute boutique, if you would like to find socks of all types this is the place. From textures to art style. This place has a lot. The variety of sizes is quite important to me, as finding the right size for my husband (13 1/2 shoe) is usually a difficult thing to achieve. If there is one shop you need to visit while in Breckenridge, it’s Marigold’s! I swear I could have bought everything in this store!! As soon as I walked in, there was art behind the cashier that caught my eye. It’s now in my possession. :).
There’s something in here for everyone and nicely organized. The service was wonderful and honest as well. Sometimes you can just tell when it’s fake-kindness but these were truly beautiful people that believe in their vision & products. Thank you!!!!

I was very impressed by the inventory they had to offer, specifically the men's products. And even more impressed by the service that Dylan O'Connell provided. He took a genuine interest in getting to know me as a customer, and provided outstanding input & knowledge on the products they carry. And went further to inquire my input as to what I was interested in and what specific products I would like to see more of.
Hands down one the BEST customer service experiences I've had!!

I went here for the first time the last time I was in Breckenridge in November, and ever since than I’ve thought almost everyday how mad at myself I am for not buying the bourbon chapstick from here! It would make the most perfect Christmas present for my boyfriend, so I’m so happy I was able to get up to Breckenridge a few days before Christmas to get that chapstick! The store was amazing! I found several little things I was wanting to get for stocking stuffers and for myself. We were probably looking around not even ten minutes when the guy that was working there asked if we were actually going to buy something and if not we needed to leave because it wasn’t hang out spot. Such a beautiful, unique place to be compared to South Louisiana! The food was excellent and the shopping was fun! I can't talk highly enough about this location and my experience there. I had been using the same ski boots for about a decade and had what I call 'east coast skis' since we are from VA. I was tired of being in pain on the mountain and decided to come and look at the boots. Scott helped find the perfect boot (with rose gold on them, hello) and went even farther to help my feet feel the most comfortable they've ever been in ski boots. I also found skis I loved (bc they were cute ofc) and the team got me in a demo pair to try out before purchasing. The process is quick and efficient and they stay open until 7pm, which was a plus for not feeling rushed on turn in day. They also let you pick up the day before without an additional day charge. I went with a pair of 23/24 Nordica Enforcer 100s in 186. They were so good I didn’t demo a second pair! The shop also had many in shop discounts at the time up to 30% off on gear. Loved my visit here. Everyone was so friendly and willing to help, even going so far as to call their store in another location to see if the dress I wanted was in stock. They set up my dressing room so I could keep browsing and not have to carry all of my items. Joaquin helped me look at some new Sorrels and was super helpful with letting me know on sizes, etc. Taylor helped me out with accessories and gave me some solid advice on gear. Beware of the “small” bikes they give women. It’s a large kids! First one I got could not keep up with the men’s bikes even in turbo and I am a very strong biker. Rear brake cable loosened requiring me to use front brakes to assist to stop and the bike was ghost shifting the whole way. Then the chain broke and I had to be rescued. 35 min later the shop showed up with the same crumby bike. Sure enough, this one was ghost shifting too and lacked power. Definitely not staying on top of their bike maintenance. Would not recommend.

I saw this joint one day after late lunch during our trip and am so glad we came back a couple days later for some wine & cheese time!
Love their unique upstairs and relaxing vibe. I also chat up with Kenny (think he might be the owner?) very nice and friendly guy who made us feel welcoming.
I would definitely be back again on our next snowboard trip!

I wish I could leave zero stars. Please understand this is related only to the service which was so horrible that my girlfriend ended up only ordering a single chocolate bar before we left. We were in town for her family reunion and she'd visited this shop the day before and loved the look so much so we returned. When she started to asked the older man behind the counter for some help choosing a few things to share w her family this jerk cut her off 2 words in and said "can we move this along, I'm very busy". We were shocked. He then just pointed around and asked if she wanted anything specific. That was it. Total jerk. I definitely do not recommend this place at all. My girlfriend is a very friendly, patient person that loves interacting with shop workers and tips very well. There was no cause for this blatant disrespect.

We had the best time here. We wanted a chill apres to celebrate a fabulous powder day, and found it at this tucked-away little shop. They have an intimate seating area upstairs and a well curated, approachable wine list. Sara helped us pick glasses that suited our taste, and was cheery, patient and friendly! Every year our family vacations in Breckenridge for ski season! We have walked into Raitman Art Gallery year after year and walked out not purchasing a piece but regretting it time after time! This year was different, we were immediately greeted by Caitlin Maddox, who was absolutely incredible! She was not only knowledgeable about every piece in the Gallery but also patient with us! This is my first time here, when I was trying to checkout I asked her if I could use Apple Pay, she said yes unless it was a discover card because supposedly they don’t work with Apple Pay… I have been using it with Apple Pay and I have never had a problem with it but I let it go, it wasn’t really an issue with me. When I was getting my physical debit card, she asked me if I wanted a bag and I said yes, but at that instant I didn’t remember they charge per bag & honestly I didn’t need it for a small thing because I had another bag so I immediately said never mind, no, thank you. Of course in a nice way and even felt bad because she was already opening it. With a disgusting attitude she said “That’s why I asked!! “. I was so confused on the attitude!! I was being nice and honestly it was a little mistake because I forgot if not of course would of said no when she asked.
I absolutely felt horrible because I don’t think I deserved that treatment when I purchasing an item and I wasn’t even rude. I understand sometimes we have bad days, but that attitude was unnecessary. I hope this store treats other tourists better.

We bought a few shirts for myself and my girls this past week, overall the shirt selection is great. HOWEVER, we were charged an extra $50! We did not purchase a single thing that was $50, or even two that added up to $50 together. We were under a time crunch as the kids were restless so I thought it was high but wanted to get out of the store. Avoid this shop at all costs! We went in and purchased over $75 of gifts, including four small items totaling about $10. When we got back to our condo that evening we noticed the small items weren't in our bag. Normally we wouldn't care but two of the missing items were gifts for our daughters who couldn't make the trip. When we went back the following night to ask for the items we paid for, they said they gave them to us and couldn't help us. They were unhelpful and rude -- and actually made us stand in the shop while the manager went over security footage (?!) to try to prove to us they did give us the items. (We still don't know what they saw on the footage.) When I insisted, they finally let us have three of the cheapest missing items and were very patronizing, saying we should let them when we found the missing items and please to try not to lose these. Needless to say, I couldn't wait to get out of this shop, and did NOT find the missing items. Please take your business elsewhere. There are so many wonderful, friendly people and quality businesses in this town. This was the only sour point in our trip. Go somewhere else. Save your business for someone who cares.

If I could leave a 0 star review I would. 1 star is very generous in my opinion. This was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at a ski shop. I have been skiing for 25 years and couldn't believe how unhelpful, relatively rude, inexperienced and disengaged the staff was. They run you through the rental process as quickly as possible and do not care (or seem to know) if your equipment actually fits properly. This unfortunately landed one of the four in our group in the ER after a fall because her boots were at least a size too big. Another one of our folks had to swap boots out that were too big, and our fourth had to swap polls because they were about 2 sizes too short. There is a reason they are one of the cheapest in town. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Spend the extra money at another shop that knows what they are doing or spend the extra money on medical bills when your improper equipment lands you in the med clinic. I'm not one to usually write bad reviews, but I don't want to see anyone else hurt because of this shop's incompetence.

I had a group of nine arriving at various times with varying skis and snowboards, with different departure dates, and they handled things extremely professionally. Marcelo was great to get my boots fitted correctly and their skis were stellar. We read many reviews about different ski rental places. What sold us on this one was HOW NICE people said they were. The staff did not disappoint! Also we appreciated the set-up, having an elevated boot fitting platform that made it incredibly easy for us (and them) to get a great fitting boot! We rented 3 sets of skis ⛷, helmets, and a snowboard. According to my son, they really hooked up his girlfriend with a great snowboard 🏂. Convenient to Peak 9 and all the downtown shops. Would def recommend!

My friends and I had a really great experience renting our snowboards from Blue River. They explained everything very thoroughly and was patient and knowledgeable when we had questions. The equipment seemed new(ish) and well taken care of. We had to come back the next day to swap out a shoe size and switch the board from regular to goofy and they did all that within 10 minutes. Highly recommend and will definitely come back next time we’re in Breck for a snow trip.

If you're an experienced boarder coming out of state and looking for high quality equipment, don't hesitate with the demo. They could have a few more options for snowboard bindings (ie stiffness) but really it wasn't an issue as they were still high quality. Board options? My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Alpine Sports last week. We only needed skis and poles, as we already had our own boots. We asked for demo skis and they gave us great grooming skis, perfect for the slopes there at the time. We even did a ski lesson, as we are from FL and needed a brush up on our skills, and the instructors said they were great skis. Everyone was friendly and we paid for the days we actually skied. I cannot praise this company enough! We have always done Vail Pass with Alpine Sports every year & it is always the highlight of our trip with our 5 kids. This last time we were excited to get started with my sister’s family & Dakota & Noah offered to ride down with us to get some family photos for us (seriously? Who does that?! Wow) We weren’t 10 minutes into our ride before my 9 year old son wiped out & broke his arm. Not only did Dakota & Noah park along the highway to come back for us, but they made our safety their first priority & got us safely back to the shuttle while they dealt with our bikes & gear. Dakota dropped my husband & son at the hospital & brought me back for our car. He was encouraging my son, who was crying in pain, and tried his best to avoid bumps in the road. These guys were truly professional & went waaay above & beyond for us that day. To top it all off, they insisted on refunding our money for those of us who missed out on the bike ride. We will never go with any other company for our Colorado adventures. These guys truly are the best!!

It’s a 14 mile trail that takes practically no peddling as it’s all downhill. Along the way there are outstanding views, and every turn and a healing creek is running alongside you!!!!!! Enjoyable, relaxing and easy!!!!

Noah and the rest of the staff at Alpine Sports were helpful, friendly and gave us a fair price for a couple of e-bikes. On the way back to Alpine Sports, my bike's chain came off a couple of times, we went back and they happily exchanged the bike. The store is conveniently located on the North side of town and close to the bike path that can take you to downtown Breck or Frisco. I highly recommend renting from Alpine Sports!

The kind staff at AMR hooked me up with a demo that suited me. Zero stars for quality of snowboard sharpening and waxing that didn't even go to end of board. Zero stars for charging both the person that dropped it off and the person that picked it up. Zero stars for bringing board back inside two minutes later to see if they forgot to sharpen it ... employee looked at board and said they did. Took it to another shop an hour later to do same sharpen and wax and it looked brand new again. One star for refunding both of us for a job that was never done or was done really really really poorly. See pics of their job vs. a service only shop and decide for yourself. Lost half a day of skiing for the group getting opinions and getting this taken care of properly.

While shopping with my daughter, we popped into this shop on Main Street. Not only did my teenager find some items, I did too! The staff was kind and helpful. The prices were right in line with boutique prices but not outrageous. They were also navigating covid restrictions and concerns and they did a great job of that too. When we return to Breck, this will be my new place that I must visit each time.

This is such a great store. The art they sell as postcards, enamel pins, stickers, and wooden pieces from different local artists is exquisite and beautiful. The clothes are great quality and reasonably priced. The other products you'll find are great too, but what really makes it is the staff. This was by far one of my favorite places to shop when we visited Breckenridge. I strive to shop and support local- this place offers one-of-a-kind products created by local artists. You will not find the mass-produced shirts here that you’ll find at the other souvenir places. LG had many items other than clothing, so there is something for everyone. I do wish they had more women-fit shirts though (while they do offer gender-neutral fits, a shirt designed for a woman’s shorter arms, larger chest and smaller waist makes a difference). I encourage visitors to circle around the store several times. Every time we circles around we saw something different we missed before. The staff was friendly too. Highly recommend.

I stopped at 2 different stores looking for boots and a backpack before going to Goods. The second place I went the guy was so rude (I was told if I didn’t want to spend money then I should go somewhere else). I almost gave up until I walked into good and was met by the sweetest lady and her puppy! She helped me find boot IN MY BUDGET! And I got the perfect backpack that I had been looking for all week. Be forewarned that they refuse to do returns only store credit even though they don't mention that policy when you talk to them during their sale or at checkout. Their sales staff don't actually care about the customer, they were more interested in putting up decorations.
I'm talking about trying to return boots less than 24hrs later due to not being able to wear the shoes due to a disability - originally went in to see if they had a larger size (not avail) and then asked to return - was told no)
If you're not a local -- don't shop here you'll never get your $'s worth if you decide you don't like something. There are MANY other stores on Main St that sell the same stuff for the same price with a reasonable return policy.
I will never go back -- and will tell all the guests I run into at my front desk position in Breck to not bother...

Stopped in to browse and walked out with my first custom hat! super cute and affordable! Aria (eekk I think?) was so kind and helpful but most importantly, she was super patient as I was a little indecisive. All I knew was that I wanted neutral, simple, and clean and she created the perfect hat for any occasion.
I will say, in the natural sun light, the hat appears to be a tiny bit more yellow than beige. But I imagine it might fade, and I'm still totally happy with it!
All in all, you get the Kemo Sabe aesthetic and experience without the crazy prices.

still super cute and lots of compliments. The brim bends somewhat easily if it's not left on a flat surface, I'm often bending it back and putting books on it. I'm unsure if that's a common thing with hats though... hope that helps!

Ohana is such a cool store! They had just opened on our recent visit and we were so impressed with their selection of unique Colorado products from local artists. Not to mention they are locally owned! Next time we go to Steamboat we will have to check out their original location. I also appreciate that they design and screen print their own apparel - we bought a few t-shirts and sweatshirts and they are SO comfortable. Everyone was incredibly friendly - we will definitely be stopping in again on our next visit!

I came in 10 minutes before closing (eek) and was having one heck of a day, the two women who were working were SO kind to me and so helpful with an exchange/return I had to make (just for an incorrect size issue on my end, the boots were amazing). Bought the Men’s Hubert Wool-Lined Waterproof Leather Boots, the boots were truly beautiful and also look like they would be great in the snow. Very high quality and they seem to be very sturdy, warm and durable! Nicole handled everything so well, even gave me her card and said she would take care of it all.
