The food here is absolutely delicious and everything we tried was fresh and full of flavor. It can get a little hectic during peak times, and things might move a bit slow since the place gets packed and the staff is juggling a lot. That said, the waitresses were top-notch: friendly, professional, and doing their best to keep up with the crowd. If you're not in a rush, it's definitely worth it!

I always love coming back to this place, it's really nice, and every time I go, even if I'm not hungry, I order the calamari. I don't know if I do it out of habit, but I love them. I also tried the oysters, and even some cooked oysters (I don't remember the name because I didn't order them myself, I think they had cheese on them) and, man, those were good too! Such a fun spot. Right off main stretch with live music. Didnt have drinks as we came in after a beach day but food was delicious. Blue cheese and bacon oysters... best oysters I've had yet. You can tell its been around for decades as the inside is covered in dollar bills and memorabilia. We will come back when we are in the areas for sure.

Lunch was good, nothing to write home about or suggest to others. The cocktails ($12-$15) were good, no cheap sugary mixes. The oysters Rockefeller were meh, just spinache, barely any crispy bread crumps, almost no cheese and very little sauce. The grouper bites were really good. The tuna and avocado BLT was also very good. Cajun Shrimp po'boy had no Cajun seasoning. Service started out good but then she would forget what we asked for and just stood up at the host stand. Wouldn't complain of we went back but would try a different restaurant next time I'm on the area.

For an oyster bar, we found it disappointing. The service was great, the food was ok. Grouper bites were good, the oysters not so much. The crab cakes were so so. Quesada’s were good. They were filled with cheese and veggies and didn’t dry out.

We were greeted and seated immediately. We ordered the Plantains off the Tapas menu. They were served with crispy cancha (corn nuts), chimichurri, and huancaina sauces. I had the Black Mussels for my entrée and my husband had the Diver Sea Scallops. I also ordered a side of Truffle Fries because why not?! Every single dish was delicious!! I recently visited The Cottage and had a pleasant experience overall. The staff was friendly and attentive. As for the food, it was good. The plating was nice, but the garnishes on several plates looked a bit tired and not as fresh as I would have hoped. That slightly took away from the visual appeal of the meal. We had a very large party and service was still fantastic. Scallops, tempura shrimp, poke bowl , grouper sandwich and scampi were all excellent. But the best thing we had hands down was the lobster bisque and the lobster sushi roll. May be the best of both that I’ve ever eaten and I have eaten a lot of bisque! Prices aren’t cheap but this is a “you get what you pay for” kind of situation. Highly recommended!!

We had eaten here during g our last visit to Siesta Key and really enjoyed it so it was an easy decision to go back again for lunch today.
It’s normally too hot to eat outside in Florida restaurants in August but due to the large canopy we were able to do so without getting g too hot - the many fans helped!
The staff were so friendly and helpful and we were soon sitting down with drinks trying to decide what to eat from the large menu. It was lunch time so we’re looking at sandwiches, burgers etc - we decided on the grouper sandwich and the seared tuna club sandwich with both of us upgrading to the truffle and Parmesan fries. The food was absolutely great - so tasty and the fries were a revelation!
Just about the right quantity for lunch so didn’t have a dessert.

We had a great dinner experience. Arrived early enough on a Friday to beat the crowd, but it filled up fairly quickly. The Village is a nice area to visit near the awesome Siesta Key beach. We had a very small intimate wedding on the beach in siesta key and have eaten at The Lobster Pot three different times already! One of them was right after our wedding and they were able to accommodate 11 of us. The owners Tony and Fran went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience! On that day,our server was Allison and she did such a great job attending to our group and making sure everyone was taken care of! Great job Allison!!
The other two servers we had during our other two visits were Bryce and Dominick. Both outstanding and attentive servers with great personalities. Thank you gentleman!

We went to Lobster Pot on our anniversary, September 18, 2025. I was looking forward to their lobster bisque and the overall atmosphere. I had the bisque and the shrimp plate. I was very disappointed, the shrimp was bland and the bisque had no lobster flavor and very little lobster. My husband got the chicken sandwich and he said it was "okay." The experience was salvaged by excellent service by Dominick V. He had several other tables (he was the only one working) and yet he made sure we were well-taken care of. Because he was so busy and we had plans for the afternoon, we never mentioned how disappointed we were about the food quality - of which there was very little. Captain Curt’s was a gem hidden in plain sight. Food was awesome, games playing on the big screen and the breeze off the ocean made it perfect. Really had a great lunch. Seafood extravaganza was a giant fried seafood plate, everything was delicious however the star of the show was the clam chowder. I tend to be skeptical when dishes are labeled best in the world however I agree one hundred percent, that clam chowder was so good!! Drinks were strong too, strawberry banana daiquiri was recommended and didn’t disappoint. This will be my first stop on our trip back to Siesta.

After a recommendation from a relatives friend, we stopped by while on a vacation night in Sarasota. The service was stellar, food and drinks came out quickly and was hot and fresh. All the food was good but I could have eaten a vat of the clam chowder!

We hit Owens Fish Camp during our recent vacation and it did not disappoint. While not on the water, the ambience, covered by trees and nature while tucked away near downtown, was great. We sat outside on a warm summer night.
The service was really good. We had everything we needed and yet the servers weren’t intrusive. It was our first time to Owens and they gave great recommendations on what to try.
We started with the Gumbo and Crab Cake appetizers. Both were flavorful and the crab cake was over stuffed with breading. For entrees we went with Shrimp Baskets & the Fresh Catch plates with Scamp and Grouper with Butter sauces. The fresh was cooked perfectly (meaning not over) and you could taste the freshness. We ended up splitting a Key Lime Pie for dessert.
Everything went well and we will certainly be back on our next trip. There’s also a mercantile shop connected to the restaurant to kill time while waiting for a table. We were there mid week and there wasn’t live music but next time we’ll try on a weekend to hear some tunes. All in all, highly recommend Owens Fish Camp for a great all-around dining experience.

Sooo Owen’s Fish Camp was on my list to try when visiting Sarasota and I’m glad we made it! My mom loves seafood, so whenever she visits me, we make it a point to check out a seafood spot. Walking up, you definitely get those fish camp, local vibes. We arrived “early” and it was already packed, but luckily found some seating. Our waitress was patient and helped guide us through the menu. The decor matched the theme perfectly, and outside they had a big backyard area with live music and another bar. There’s also a store connected to the restaurant with different items to browse.
We truly enjoyed our food, left stuffed and sleepy! My only feedback is that the dishes were a little heavy on the sodium. The seasoning was good, but at times the salt was noticeable. It didn’t ruin anything, just something that stood out. If you’re in the area, this is definitely a spot not to miss!

Owens Burns Court will not take reservations and they only seat full parties - I knew that going in. We had a large group that I was happy to seat at different tables. Outdoors has larger tables but it was darn hot when we went. 6 of us showed up - got a table right away at 5pm on a Monday. Little bit later 5 more showed up and luckily got a table right next to the other one! Then our last 2 stragglers arrived as they were driving from further away and they got seated right near us in the bar high tops area.
Service was wonderful - Brandi was awesome, front of house were ingenious in suggesting the high tops at the bar so we could all be close by. Food came out super fast and hot. Everyone was served at each table together. We were trying to make a 6:30pm movie at Burns Cinema next door and had plenty of time to move our cars and get tickets.
Everyone enjoyed their food - Corvina, Scamp, Trout, Crab Cake, Shrimp Salad, Jambalaya, so much more - all was perfect - and always fun. Music starts at 5:30pm and the outdoors area is super cute, when it's a wee bit cooler.

The hype is real. No reservations and no wait list as stated on google maps. Went on Sat night about 615p and waited about 40 min. Was directed to the backyard which served some small bites. Had grilled oysters which were great. had some house cocktails whiskey lemonade and bourbon tea which were not bad. Plenty of seats with a live performer. Met 'Beaver' who said he was the OG. He had taken our orders at the grill/drinks area and came around when it got less busy there asking if we needed anything. He gave us some tips on what to order and he was spot on.
The best thing was the chicken fried lobster tails. Should have ordered 2 orders. The garlic snails were also good. Nice sauce served over mashed potatoes, all coming in a bowl.
Had peel n eat shrimp. tasty but didn't realize it was cold. Would have been great warm. Should not have gotten the hot crab dip. Kinda fishy tasting and wasn't that good. I did like the ritz crackers. I ordered the low country boil for 2. Was quite good. Gave you a good amount of shrimp. Most of the clamshells were empty and only could find a few lying around. Mussels just ok. potatoes were very good. I should have gotten the order of crab legs by itself and also something else. Gumbo was good. No okra tho. clam chowda was great. My son had jambalaya, good but not as good as New Orleans. His fiancee had pasta that was great. Wife had Scamp grouper that was excellent. Server Claudia was very nice. Kind of quiet. My mother & I came and sat at the bar. It was wonderful service. Both bartenders were so amazing and sweet. The fish special which was scamp, was the best grouper I have ever had. My mom even said it tasted like lobster. She loved the succotash. My salad was incredible! The atmosphere is amazing & they had live music & food out back while you wait for your table!

I’m visiting Sarasota for the first time on a work trip and decided to take a walk around the area. I started heading to a sushi spot, but right next to it I noticed Duval with signs saying “#1” and “Best Seafood,” so I decided to give it a try instead.
As soon as I walked in, the host was so friendly and welcoming and seated me outside. My server Jennifer was the absolute sweetest. She made great recommendations and treated me like a regular even though it was my first visit. The food was beyond delicious. Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful.

Stopped here because I was craving seafood. I did not have reservations so we had to eat outside. (Not a big deal but on certain days this could be a deal breaker). I started with a drink reccomended by waitress and then they ended up coming back and saying they where out of coconut puree. So I changed to a blujito. It was good but very very very minty. For appetizers I ordered the muscles and they were good. I probably would not order them again. For entree i got the Grouper which i had never had and I thought it was really good! The wife did the fish and chips and the fish/breading was cooked amazing but... it had no flavor. So bland. If you didnt get starter sauce there would have been no flavor. Overall it was good food but I would not go out of my way to eat here. If you are close then it would be nice place to stop

We made reservations, and were in on a Friday evening. The restaurant and bar area were both busy but it never felt loud. The atmosphere is relaxed but very nice. Our server, McKenzie, was amazing! She was attentive, friendly, knew all the answers to our questions, helped guide us through our dining experience perfectly. All of the food was really great - highlights from our table were the calamari and the grouper, the sides were great too - spinach and sweet potato fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned. All this was followed by the bread pudding (wow!) and the gluten free blueberry cheesecake. I have to say that I almost didn't order the GF blueberry cheesecake but i'm SO glad I did - the best GF dessert I've had in a long while!
I highly recommend adding Duval's to your rotation of downtown restaurants, or trying it for a special occasion. We are so glad we did!

I had a reservation at 6:30pm. Arrived a little early around 6:20 and was seated right away. After that three different servers ignored me for over 25 minutes. People were seated after me and quickly greeted. Even ordered appetizers and food had arrived. Still no one acknowledged me. I flagged a server down and asked if I could order a drink. He didn’t greet me at all and just asked if I had been assigned a server. After that I left. No need for my business. Just walked out at 6:45pm.

All the dishes were delicious.

We were pointed toward Walt’s by some friendly locals while out playing pool, and I’m so glad we took their advice. From start to finish, this place delivered big-time.
We kicked things off with the Oyster Rockefeller, which set the tone, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. For the main course, our group went all out and shared a variety of dishes: the Alaskan Fish & Chips, Captain’s Platter, Charred Grill Plate, and the Raspberry Chipotle Scallops. Every single dish was fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. You could taste the quality of the seafood and the care in the kitchen.

Carla was my fabulous waitress tonight. So efficient, so pleasant and helpful. She anticipated my every need and timed the dinner perfectly.
I had the Treasure Chest special, two huge pieces of fried fish two huge scallops and two gigantic shrimp with street corn salad and french fries. A perfect amount of food and everything was delicious.
Parking is always a problem if you don't get there early but they have now expanded options and after 5 o'clock you can park at the Pearl vision about a half a block away from Walt's.

We had the crab cake appetizer and seared Tuna tacos with hush puppies, the Tuna was soooo good, the fish tacos are really good and they have a great option for sides, we had cucumber and tomato in a balsamic reduction. The fish and chips are fresh and hand battered. We had to try the key lime pie it’s their mom’s recipe and it did not disappoint. Our server was friendly and helpful with the menu options. We stopped here per a friends recommendation and we had planned to only stop here once during our 4-day visit and try the other restaurants in the area, but that quickly turned into 3 visits in 4 days. no other resturant in the area compared!! the food was exceptionally cooked and seasoned. Our server was a rockstar as she was the only server had had for each of our 3 visits and she killed it!
Big Water will be a staple for every visit to siesta key from here on out!

Absolute FAVORITE place during our vacation. We ate 3 meals there in a week's time. Had oysters on the half shell, seared tuna tacos, key lime pie, hot pot I think it was called (it's like a crab boil), shrimp tacos, fish tacos, crab legs, hush puppies, caeser salad with fresh anchovies, seared tuna appetizer + siesta key light beer & a local IPA that was on tap. With so many little restaurants to choose from in the village on Siesta Key you would be wise to give this place a try on your next visit. From the outstanding service to beach atmosphere without being on the beach, it is worth it.
For starters, the service was exceptional, and our server was consistent in ensuring we were doing okay. My wife ordered fish and chips and let me tell you, their chips are truly delicious.
The burger I ordered had a definite seasoning to it that has made it one of my favorite burgers on the Key, and in Sarasota.
The only real downside to this location, and pretty much every other restaurant in the village, is parking.

This bar & restaurant is SO CLEAN. The staff are friendly, the service is quick and the food is what you’d expect from a beach bar. So many choices. It’s not often you find such a clean and well run beach establishment. The bartender is always cleaning and helping bus tables for wait staff. Can’t recommend enough !

We came for lunch during our honeymoon, the daiquiris are great as they should be with the name of the restaurant being what it is. But where this place shined was the service and presentation. The food was great, beating expectations. And the server, Ryan was awesome and extremely accommodating. He provided quality service that is hard to find these days.

Decided to go here for lunch I have not been here in sometime last time. I was here food service and everything was good. It was 10 years ago. My visit here this time did not go too well. The place was pretty much empty except for the bar area when I came in we decided to sit at a table. We noticed upon sitting at the table that it was rickety and wobbly all over the place we had the stuff napkins under the legs in order to stabilize it. My wife and I decided to order the oyster shooters which on the menu showed them on a half shell and I ordered the beef tacos and she ordered a plain hamburger. Before ordering, we sat there for some time and no one attended to us. We had to walk back up to the front and ask can we order and then someone came to assist us. We received our drinks then we received our food sometime after. My wife’s burger patty was so so it was previously frozen. My tacos were semi warm. The beef meat that was used in these tacos did not taste good at all underseasoned and the taste of the taco seemed average for a fast food restaurant. Shortly after we received our food, we received two shot glasses with oysters and some bloody Mary mix with old bay on the rim. We were disappointed because we’ve had shooters in the past and it’s always served on a half shell plus that’s what the menu showed. We promptly asked for our bill and it was $73.00! Average food that is extremely overpriced. I will not be returning here again. This explains why all of the other restaurants had a lot more people than what was at this location.

We were celebrating our 20 years together this month and my husband beating Stage 4 cancer!! Everyone and everything was so amazing!! From our server - to the owner who we saw visiting each table. The Top sirloin wagyu was unbelievably good on our second visit. Not big on sirloin, this is a must. The management worked with our party of six to get us in on a last minute decision on a Friday. I have eaten steaks at some of the top rated in the country, hands down one of the best!!!

To start with, Derek was our server who delivered with flair and the utmost professionalism I haven’t witnessed in a long time. Derek asked for our names and engaged in conversation that was pleasant and legitimate. A thorough explanation of menu items and the background to the Chefs vision.
We started with colossal shrimp and crab cake as appetizers to which both were fantastic. We then entered into our main course of wet aged NY strip steaks that were both tender and delicious.

I went to this restaurant last year and decided to invite some colleagues to join me for dinner there when I return to Sarasota. This place gets really busy so I highly recommend either making a reservation or going on the earlier side. They open at 4 PM. Our server was Joei and we had an amazing service. I recently became dairy free and they were able to make the halibut dish that I ordered without dairy. The oysters were fresh. There is a huge fish tank inside and it does get a little cold so bring a light jacket or coat. Come check this place out if you have a chance.

The Spearfish Grille is easy to get to and sits on the water by a boat marina access. Parking is all over and can be free or paid for. It was over the top busy when we visited. They do not take reservations. We got there around 630 PM and waited for 10 minutes to be acknowledged to actually get a seat. They took our name and seated our group of 6 quickly. There was a singer playing a guitar with 80s/yacht rock and not too loud. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. So, if you go, be prepared to wait. No fault of the staff as they were hopping, and the place was busy. Menu pics show the options, with fresh fish available daily with different options. The Hogfish tacos were very good, clean, and refreshing. The only thing was that the sweet potato fries came out cold and rubbery. Overall, the location was nice, the parking was ok, the service was slow, the taste and flavor ok, and the price was around $330 for 6 people. For an average of $50 a person, I was expecting more, and ended at 4/5 stars.

This is a decent seafood restaurant on the water but not really waterfront dining. It’s good but not amazing. I can recommend the gumbo as an appetizer, it was almost as good as NOLA gumbo.
The hogfish I had was blackened but not really blackened. Blackened seasoning is a spicy, pepper forward blend that is crusted onto a dish through high heat. It was not blackened in the slightest and that was the most disappointing aspect. The hogfish itself was good fish, bun was good, tartar was good. The black beans and rice lacked depth of flavor and seasoning.
Other dishes at the table and in the photos include triple tail and grouper fried fish and chips. A kids cheeseburger, chicken tenders, and lobster Mac and cheese. The lobster Mac and cheese was quite good with hearty chunks of buttery lobster. Triple tail was good, the fried dishes were fried well.
The French fries were really good fries, fresh potato flavor and crispy outside with a fluffy inside texture.
Overall, I do recommend Spearfish Grille UNLESS you’re a huge seafood aficionado and desire particular seasoning and spices on your seafood. I do think the dish I had lacked depth of flavor and seemed to be heavily under seasoned.

My go-to place for my special occasions. The view from the dining room on the second floor is spectacular! And while the food is not, the service and the atmosphere are always top notch. Our waitperson, Robert, added a special dimension to our most recent experience : joyful, enthusiastic and always helpful and considerate. As pescatarians/vegetarians, we three have several dietary limitations, and Robert was on top of that, careful to inform us of any ingredients that might be a problem for any of us.

Stopped by for a 1st visit. Our waiter Matt was spot on with good suggestions, service and a friendly personality. We ordered the grouper sandwich and Thai chx sliders. Both delicious. We sat inside by the windows but there are two outside dining areas. This looks like a fun place to come with family or friends. They have banquet facilities upstairs.

We just spent 4 nights at the new Transient Docks, what a fantastic stay!!! Due to a front, we had to delay our planned arrival by several days, the staff was very accommodating and moved our reservation to our new requested dates. Upon approach to the marina we were quickly given our slip assignment and met at the slip by one of the dock hands, Drew. He was extremely helpful with the lines and even hooked up our shore power! The icing on the cake was when Savannah Biggert, Assistant General Manager, showed up with a bouquet of flowers and a Happy Anniversary card. I had mentioned to Savannah that we were coming down to celebrate our anniversary when we had made reservations a couple weeks before. She truly sets the bar high!! We absolutely recommend Marina Jack and will certainly be back!!!

It was a beautiful day and we chose to eat outside on the deck. Waiter was totally unfamiliar with the menu and when the Tiki tuna wrap came in it was served on lettuce rather than a wrap and no wasabi. My grouper wrap was a little fishy and it was wet. Oct 1st 2024 Phillippi Creek Oyster Bar saved the day for my family. My daughter was scheduled to be married on Lido beach at Limetree Beach Resort but Hurricane Helene crushed those dreams and plans. We stopped to eat at Phillippi Creek after picking up wedding decorations from Limetree and I had a thought that maybe we could have the wedding on their dock. I asked the managers Ricky and Jorge if it would be possible and they said YES!!! With only a few days to change coarse Lisa and her team with Tied The Knot weddings made it happen. It turned out to be the best day ever for all of us!!!
I can't thank the staff at Phillippi Creek for saving the day and the the excellent service they provided the wedding party and all of the delicious food as always!!!

Kind of disappointed. Very small portions. Ordered fried clams extra crispy. They came out luke warm and not fresh cooked crispy. Flavor was fair and ahain small portion. Fried clams were served hot but small order for the price and only a few were large enough to dip. Needed a spoon to finish most of the order. Hush puppies were hot but not very flavorfull.
Waiter was amazing and very friendly. All the staff i interacted with were professional and pleasant. Dont know if I'll be back.

This is our 33rd anniversary weekend. While on the beach my wife made reservations online at Clayton’s. Unbeknownst to me, she let Clayton’s know this was our anniversary dinner. When we got to the restaurant Marin, the hostess congratulated us for our special day. We then decided to have a drink before dinner when our bartender Luca, again congratulated us for our anniversary. As we were finishing up our cocktails, Mavis, the owner/manager came over to talk with us and once again told us how much she appreciated us having this very special dinner at her restaurant. After being seated, our server Luca echoed the same message as everyone else we came in touch with, sincere appreciation for celebrating our special evening.
The cherry on the milkshake was when Mavis personally brought out a special treat for us just before desert. Another great big shoutout to Marin for the picture as we were leaving.

First and foremost, the food is fantastic. It’s a lovely place just a short walk from the beach on Siesta Key. My wife and I are regulars there on Tuesday nights for the last five years. We have tried just about everything on the menu and it is all amazing.
Amber at the bar creates wonderful concoctions that will surprise your taste buds. She is so sweet and we just love her.
Andrea is a waitress that always has a smile on her face and makes you laugh. James, the chef, creates wonderful culinary dishes, and continues to look for new ways to make those dishes even better.

We have eaten at Veronica's multiple times for an informal meal. The bar is quite active and the staff could not be more accommodating. The room is spacious and comfortable. But now to the serious stuff: the oyster selection is always terrific and they feature oysters from the cold waters of the northeast. The fish selection is varied and fresh. The burgers are also terrific and the fries are too. I'd like to make a comment about our server on our last visit- Rebecca knew everything about the menu and the preparation of the items but was particularly familiar with the oysters, including their size and flavor profile. All the reviews are true. This place is beyond amazing and has exceptional service. I felt at home and everything we ate was steller! We had their octopus, homemade bread, crab with avocado served with deep fried rice cracker, fried red snapper, and wild mushrooms. I wasnt crazy about the mushrooms to be honest, but everything else was delicious! To top off our meal, the server brought us some bread pudding with ice cream for dessert! So far, this is my favorite restaurant in Sarasota. I hope to come back soon!

Still thinking about how good our food was here! We’ve been visiting Siesta Key for YEARS and finally tried Veronica’s. The smaller menu size had steered us away in the past, but what they make they make WELL. The smoked fish dip with fried saltines was delicious. The caesar salad had a touch of vinegar flavor that we loved and the croutons were shaved so there was a little bit in every bite. Grouper entree was phenomenal, loved the crunch of the crispy potatoes on top paired with the caviar blanc sauce. Veronica fries were also a table favorite & everyone wanted to get their hands on the aioli that came with. Overall the restaurant has a moody vibe & our waitress was so friendly. She helped us with off the menu mocktails which were also amazing. Can’t wait to visit again!

Although, I will say, the Korean style bbq ribs was probably the highlight of the night. I thought the service was below par as well. My husband ordered the Tuscan cream sauce pasta with blackened grouper. He said it was delicious. I wouldn't know since I was gobbling down my own deliciousness so quickly! 🤷🏿 We gave the virgin strawberry daiquiris. They were ok, a little icy and lacked the sweetness of some others. The outdoor patio was breezy and nice. They really try to make it comfortable for the guests and it shows. Another little local gem just North of Siesta Key village by about a block. It turned out to be one those (If you know then you know) places. Food was really delicious and portions size was tremendous. Staff where all very friendly. The place appears to be way bigger on the inside then it looks on the outside. It also sports one of the longest bars that I've seen in the whole village. We were very impressed with the atmosphere and the personaliized decore. It gives the restaurant a special and unique identity. Anthony was our server and he was friendly and efficient had our drinks to us very quickly and the food followed soon after. Very fast service. I tried the Loaded Salty Dog (one of their signature dishes) I have to tell you that was the biggest and I dare say probably the best hot dog I have ever had. Meat was jucy and delicious not something you find everywhere. This dog was loaded down with 3 types of cheese and Sautéed onions and mushrooms as well as crisp sourkrut. The hot dog nearly won. I.almost couldn't finish it. They claimed it was a quarter pound dog, the whole sandwich likely weighted in at 1 and 1/4 pounds.. Be really hungry if you order this monster...but if you can't finish it (Henry thier mascot maybe standing by literally to help you clean up.) Heather sampled the Grilled Shrimp Tacos and they where also pretty large and she found them wonderfully flavorful. The Beer I ordered was a locally brewed Draft and it was cold crisp and really hit the spot. Heather sampled one of their special house made Margaritas and it was delicious but stout...they didn't skimp on the tequila that's for sure. So if you haven't tried this place I strongly recommend it. We will be trying more of their fine cuisine on our next visit. Very glad we stopped in today.

Firecracker wrap with shrimp is incredible. Tortilla wasn't dried out. The sauce has a kick. Good taste. The batter chicken sandwich is huge. Real chicken that isn't batter on top of batter on top of batter. The original salty dog though isn't something I'd get again. Rum cake was moist and so yummy!!!! Key lime slice is fine. Wow!!!!!! WHAT HAPPENED????. We came here a couple times last time we were in siesta key. We were all excited to eat here. NOT the same. The waitress struggled to offer to take our order after we ordered drinks and an appetizer. We were never once offered any refills on our pop, there were only about 5 or 6 other tables with customers so it was not very busy. We ordered two burgers and an original salty dog and a loaded salty dog. The hot dogs had absolutely no taste. Last time we came we had left a 5 star review. The original was fried so hard that the batter was absolutly rock hard. The loaded had the tiniest amount of grilled onion and saurkrut hidden under the dog which is stange because the whole thing tasted like nothing but burnt greasy onions. There are so many amazing places to eat here. Would not suggest spending $90 on a couple dogs and burgers that were not very good.

I LOVE that we could bring our dog with us (patio dining and it was perfect!) Service was great. Mixed thoughts on the food. The wonton tacos were AWESOME, but very small portion for the price. Atmosphere was very tropical and plenty of live music in this restaurant as well as surrounding restaurants. We sat on the porch outside and I had the fried shrimp with cocktail sauce and my wife had a salad and salsa and fresh made chips.
Raider was attentive and friendly. We use public parking which is $8 an hour apparently throughout the city there. Very enjoyable meal. Easy to recommend.

The atmosphere is great with various inside and outside dining options at the bar or at a table or out by the street. Our waitress was very sweet and efficient. They have a reasonable selection of food and many beer and cocktail options. We had the fried shrimp which was excellent (12 shrimp) and a hamburger which was good. The fish tacos were loaded with crispy white fish, check out the size of that portion! They were topped with coconut rum slaw and full of flavor. The beef burgers are just as massive and satisfying for non-seafood lovers.

We almost didn’t try this place out due to some of the other reviews. But after not being happy at another place we decided to just do it. And we are happy we did. This place was nothing like the bad reviews we read. Outside of the weather being hot with possible thunderstorms, and having no fan on our table. The food was great! It was piping hot and fresh. The chicken quesadilla was the best. The fish a chips were good as well. The staff was friendly and our waitress was very attentive. We only wished the general manager had visited our table. We were visiting, but this place is an additional to why we will return.
Look passed any bad reviews and give this place a try. We found it was worth it!

10/10 for places to have a wedding reception! We had our wedding reception here and it was perfect! It’s been a year since our wedding and our friends and family members are still talking about how amazing the food and drinks were. We had to get a tent because we had about 120 people, but they handled all the details for us. All staff members were so kind and were great to work with (Robbie is the best bartender around and he was a must have at our reception!). Robbie also constantly made sure I had everything I needed which helped out greatly throughout the night. Marc and Kris made sure we had all the details ironed out and ensured everything was beautiful and ran smoothly. We chose this place because the food is incredible (wine and cocktails, too!) and it was nothing short of top notch that night. They stayed opened 2 hours or so after the reception was supposed to be over because everyone was having such a great time! The only thing I regret was having too much fun dancing and missing out on the dessert which I was greatly looking forward to. Some day soon we’ll be back for it 😋

We enjoyed an amazing meal and truly spectacular service from Ricco. Our group of 10 shared several dishes and each of them was done perfectly. So delicious! It was our favorite restaurant from the many we visited on our vacation on Siesta Key.

The food was very good however the server we had was not personable at all. He did not say his name and he was very stand offish. We came for a bachelorette trip and was very excited to eat here. The bride asked for ranch and he said “no this an Italian restaurant” when we were leaving and after we paid all he said was “bye” as he was walking into the kitchen. The food was amazing but the service from our waiter really rubbed us the wrong way and ruined the time.

Big sushi eaters here… Our first experience was AMAZING! Service was wonderful and the food did not disappoint us. Appetizers- we did the crab rangoons 10/10, gyoza 10/10, and tuna crisp 100/10 (pictured). So fresh! For sushi rolls (pictured)- we did the Tokyo Drift 10/10, Red Hot Chili Pepper 10/10, and Crazy Roll 10/10. They were all great, zero complaints. We also tried the Star Fried Rice, which is served in a half cut pineapple. Verryyyy good! Can’t go wrong there. Two others at my table got the Massaman curry with chicken and said it was delicious. Poke bowl also looked amazing. We aren’t local, but if we were we’d be revisiting often!

I normally don’t leave negative reviews, and I want to start by saying the staff we interacted with were pretty kind. We came to this restaurant specifically for the DJ event we saw online, but unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing.
As soon as we walked in, the restaurant reeked of marijuana - it was so strong they had to prop the front door open. Initially, we thought it was one staff member, but we were later told it was coming from the kitchen. Despite contemplating leaving, we stayed because we were hungry and wanted to see the DJ.
The food ended up being mediocre, and in hindsight, we should have left immediately. Additionally, the restrooms were shocking - almost every ceiling tile was moldy, and there were spider webs throughout along the ceiling, which raises serious concerns about cleanliness and what’s happening in the kitchen.
To top it off, a visibly drunk man came in with his dog off-leash, and the staff allowed the dog to remain inside. Even though the dog was well-behaved, it felt completely inappropriate and unprofessional.
Overall, I found the environment unsanitary and unwelcoming. I hope this review is useful to others, and I will not be returning.
