Nestled atop a stunning promontory, the Monastery of Paleokastritsa is a historic gem that dates back to the 13th century. This serene site not only offers breathtaking views of the azure sea but also houses a museum filled with fascinating religious artifacts. Visitors can explore nearby attractions like the Achilleion Palace and enjoy hidden sea caves along the beach below.
A beautiful, quiet monastery on top of the hill, car parking available, and excellent views. There was no charge to visit, with an interesting little museum. A gift shop selling various religious items. The small gardens and plants are exquisite. A quiet and serene bubble to collect your thoughts in a modern world.
Mark F — Google review
Serene, beautifully maintained monastery high on the hill (15 min walk up), spectacular views ! Free entry and they will provide cover-ups if you are not deemed appropriately dressed. Donation box at exit. We arrived just as it opened in the afternoon so quite busy, but if you manage to visit in a less busy period you will certainly enjoy it. Really glad we went.
Gill J — Google review
Well worth the walk up. Not too steep a walk and there's a decent pathway up. The views are perfect. Sadly the monastery closes from 1pm to 3pm.
Aileen B — Google review
Beautifully located and peaceful, with stunning views all around. It wasn’t crowded during our visit, which made it even more serene. A calm and spiritual place, definitely worth a one-time visit while exploring Corfu. It is free of charge.
Venkataprathap M — Google review
Lovely walk up to the monastery. Very peaceful buildings with nice gardens and architecture. Lovely decorations in the church and serene feeling. Also a further walk to the lookout with the cross and donation box...
Kevin C — Google review
Beautiful monastery with excellent view. There is parking place, but recommend to come earlier coz it gets crowded around noon. There is public toilet on the left side before entrance, 1€ to enter. There are no tickets it is based on small donations to enter in to monastery. Small museum is also part of the monastery.
Milan U — Google review
It is a recommended visit in Paleokastritsa to start with, it offers a great view, walk in the yard of the monastery and small museum along with a gift shop. Free entry but you have to cover legs, they offer at the gate. Parking - two options, easier one is to drive up to the hill and the monastery. These are limited spots. Second option is the parking before climbing to the monastery. It is paid for the day. Then the walk up is around 10 minutes. There is also a path to a viewpoint which is easy and offers another view. It was quite busy with tourists and groups although it was already September.
Mjuzhden M — Google review
Well located monastery with a beautiful view. There is no fee to visit the monastery, however a donation is appreciated (but not mandatory). Inside monastery there is a small museum with old icons and priest costumes, and others. Definitely must be seen once you visit the beach…

Agios Spiridon Beach is a small and vibrant beach with crystal-clear waters and stunning views. It offers easy access to various eateries and bars, making it a convenient spot for visitors. The beach can be reached on foot from Paleokastritsa or by water taxi, which provides access to other popular stops along the coast.
Very nice beach with large rocks. Good for snorkeling and restaurants are nice. There is a place next to it for buying umbrellas and a large parking lot that costs 5 euro a day.
Paul A — Google review
If you go after 10 a.m you will not find space. This is a beautiful small beach but get overcrowded quickly. The water is so fresh and you can take your own umbrella. Paid parking 5 euros all day is available. You should visit this place and also take some photos from the monastery located only 3 - 5 minutes far from the beach.
Andi P — Google review
A beautiful beach, but it gets very busy. We arrived early in the morning, so we were able to grab a spot, but later on people were starting to argue about space on the beach. The water was significantly colder than the beaches on the north coast. However, the water was wonderfully clear and still, making it perfect for snorkeling! Boats depart from the right side of the beach for tours to the cave. Parking can also be tricky because of being a busy area.
Michaela D — Google review
Can see why it’s the main beach of Corfu, such a beautiful spot to sunbathe and swim in. Sandy beach that gets deepish relatively quick, very easy to swim a fair distance out and plenty of fish around. Separate area for incoming/outcoming boats so you thankfully don’t need to worry about that. Was by myself at 9:30am on a Wednesday in early October, though people started to trickle in from 10am onwards. By the time I left at around 12:30pm whilst busy, I felt there was still plenty of space for people on the sand anyway. Supermarket across the road was very handy for snacks and drinks but plenty of restaurants around too. Saw one offering €5 euros right across the beach.
Andrei A — Google review
Come in advance as it gets quickly overcrowded. The water is a bit cold but still manageable to swim. I recommend you take a sunbed on another beach opposite to sit and come here by foot to swim. The pictures made at 09:27.
Ivan P — Google review
A busy but fantastic little beach! Great well organised car park. Super restaurant and great boat trips around the surrounding caves, coves and beaches. But the Best Thing is it is an Accessible Beach. I have a Disability and it has a Seatrac which means I could access the beautiful clear blue sea.
Rebecca S — Google review
Had a lot of tourists kind of sandy beach. The water was amazing so is the corner snack bar. There are far more pretty beaches in the area. In my opinion you can skip this beach
Mika M — Google review
Great beach with plenty of restaurants, ice cream parlor and souvenir shop. The beach has sand which is a major plus for the area as most are pebbles. As some other reviews mentioned, it does get crowded rather quickly. We arrived at 10:45am and it was a little busy. By 12pm it was much more busy and 1pm completely crowded. We rented an umbrella and chairs for €35 each and stayed all day (until 7:30pm).

Beach
Spiros Beach Paleokastritsa is a nature and beach lover's paradise located in the village of the same name, about 24 km from Kerkyra. The area boasts six small bays where visitors can swim, as well as local tavernas offering fresh seafood. Boat trips are available to explore nearby caves and secluded beaches, while the crystal-clear waters make it an ideal spot for snorkeling.
A quieter beach compared to some others nearby, thanks to its somewhat hidden location accessed by a staircase from the sidewalk off the main road. It's quite small but wasn't crowded when I visited. A beautiful secluded beach with pebbles and stones, not sand, so I definitely recommend wearing some form of water shoes. There are large stones on the bottom even in the water, but if you swim out a bit, you won't notice them.
Alexandra — Google review
Great and nice beach. Crystal clear waters and beautiful scenery.
Jose V — Google review
Cute little beach. Take some shoes because is full of rocks. I don’t recommend for old, overweight or people with less mobility, since there are many stairs
Andrea I — Google review
Beautiful bay and crystal waters mark this site, however there are many small boats that come in the bay to practice boating skills, this makes the bay a bit noisy. The water is icy on this side but during a heatwave it feels like heaven… the bay itself is pebbly so take a mat and some shoes of your feet hurt … all in all go to other quieter beaches if you can as Greece is so much more….
C C — Google review
Water is nice, warm, beach is all stones/pebbles. In the water many big stones and rocks, good for snorkeling but not the best place for families with kids. Many steps to go down and up, lots of rubbish on the beach and on its way.
Ionel S — Google review
Don’t even bother! It’s desolate looking with some building in ruins and unless you come early, nowhere to sit. *photo is zoomed out, so beach is even smaller*
Lia V — Google review
We came here most days because it was so close to our parent. Water is clear and fresh. Quite small so we recommend coming early by 10am you can Get a great spot. Otherwise it gets very busy. Pebble beach so need good towel and comfort Matt. Great for snorkelling. Highly recommend. Quiet and just the place.
Bobana P — Google review
Paleokastritsa is amazing, highly recommended to visit first when you arrive in Corfu, due to the stunning views. Early in the morning the water is slightly colder, but as soon as the sun rises it is completely enjoyable.

Nestled along the stunning coastline of Paleokastritsa, La Grotta Bar is a charming seafront establishment that has been delighting visitors since the 1960s. Built into the rock formations, this unique bar offers a mellow ambiance where you can unwind with refreshing cocktails, beers, and coffees. For those seeking adventure, La Grotta features a diving board that invites thrill-seekers to leap into the crystal-clear waters below.
A really cool place built into the rock, with steps leading down. The staff are super friendly. Sunbeds are better to book ahead, but you can always grab a spot at the bar. Smoothies are unusual and tasty, and the burgers are great. There’s a rock you can jump from, and the seabed is beautiful – definitely bring a mask. We’ve already been a few times and keep coming back.
Nadia H — Google review
Amazing place with a breathtaking view! Friendly stuff and a great manager! The food is delicious and the bar is top! You have direct access to the sea. It is rocky but it is worth. We recommend to add more Greek food in the menu.
Plamena T — Google review
We only went for a drink in the evening, around 6 pm. Such a cool place with a gorgeous view! The bar is located between the cliffs, has got plenty of space, rocky access to the beach - so you can easily go for a swim and have a drink after. The staff was very friendly and funny. Very engaging. Such a nice atmosphere.
Rita P — Google review
La Gotta Bar is more than just a place for drinks – it is an experience right by the sea. One of the highlights here is the special spot in the water where you can jump from a relatively high point. It feels adventurous and is definitely a fun activity for anyone who enjoys the sea. The water is clear and perfect for snorkeling, making it easy to explore and enjoy the marine surroundings. Another great option is renting a small boat for a short trip, which gives you a chance to see the bay from a different perspective. The view is stunning, with mountains surrounding the coastline and creating an incredible atmosphere. The staff is friendly and the service is good, which adds to the overall positive experience. With its combination of sea activities, panoramic views, and welcoming vibe, La Gotta Bar is a unique and memorable stop that is worth visiting.

Great beach bar/restaurant! You have an amazing view on the sea it’s absolutely beautiful. The bar gives Ibiza vibes ! We’ve been served by Yannis and he’s probably one of the best waiters I have ever seen ! If you can book, book in advance as it’s a really busy place.
Andréa P — Google review
Perfect place! Really enjoyed the view and the food and the drinks, the service was great, the owner is very friendly. The vibes are amazing, good music and the beach is great. Recommend the smash burger it was delicious. It’s worth the drive even though is not so much parking around, so if you want to park close come early in the morning. I’ll definitely come back again in my next trip to Corfu!
Ted B — Google review
One of the best spots ever to sit and have a drink or two. Beautiful spot, surrounded by cliffs, water colors are amazing, chill music, absolutely perfect 👌 Important information: 1. Going down and up is by stairs, not too difficult , but if you find it difficult- it's not for you... 2. Kitchen is open at 12:00, before that- only drinks 3. You can swim from the deck, bring you towels. 4. Be ready to spend some time in there, it's amazing. 5. Don't bring food with you, it's not polite and forbidden. Enjoy a perfect location 👌

Thanks a million to Karen & Spiros for hosting the (last ever event) at La Grotta, we feel so blessed to have been able to bring all our wedding guests to this unbelievable venue and close out our wedding celebrations at La Grotta. Everything was perfection from the food and drinks to the staff and venue. We had the best time swimming and lounging all day. La Grotta is a MUST go to in Corfu. The turquoise waters and vibes are unmatched.

Beach
Agios Petros Beach is a hidden gem nestled in a secluded cove near Paleokastritsa. Accessible by water taxi, this intimate beach offers a tranquil setting ideal for romantic strolls and peaceful contemplation. With its sand-and-pebble shoreline, it provides a quieter alternative to the more popular beaches in the area. Visitors can also enjoy snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters and marvel at the abundant marine life just a few steps from the shore.
The weather was sunny at the end of October and the water was calm. The owner of the beach boat rental was very nice. He could see that I was a little nervous (I had been seasick after visiting several small islands before), so he introduced us to rent a boat with a guide, and introduced us to the Blue Cave and the deserted beach. It was a very wonderful experience, highly recommended
Cathy W — Google review
If If you’re visiting this beach with kids, it might not be the most ideal spot. It gets quite crowded, which can make it hard to find space or relax comfortably. Sunbeds are priced at €20, and parking costs €5—but keep in mind, drinks aren’t included, and you’ll have to walk to the restaurant if you want anything. The beach itself is rocky, and the water was pretty cold when we went—just 18°C! 🥶 Other beach on the south part of the island where at 30°C. Traffic can also be a pain. There were a lot of traffic jams both on arrival and departure, so plan a little extra time for the journey.
Talakas — Google review
I enjoyed the swim in this bay, after the walk up to the monastery. Beautiful view walking behind the monastery. The water was refreshing. Just that watersports and boats are in the middle of every swimming bay there. An hour ride by bus from the green 💚 bus station in town. Took the boat tour around the bays 15€ the captain was kind. Should find a location for watersports and pédalos. Some shores should be allocated for swimmers only.
Julia P — Google review
Clear water pebble beach and sand beach across the road. Do not forget your snorkeling kit and swimming shoes, the pebbles are slippery and not round so can hurt.
P L — Google review
Nice little beach - water shoes are a must and its a good place to snorkel or rent equipment for water sports
Maria V — Google review
Small beach, very crowded! Lots of big rocks in the water making the space limited. Good place to do snorkeling, clear water and lots of fish
Stéphanie M — Google review
The best beach we found in a week of visiting Corfu. It might not have the best rocks and snorkeling diversity, but it had ALL the amenities we needed, great clear water, small size (we arrived early so had no problem getting sunbeds) so not that much noise, loads of restaurants nearby (including a very nice terrace with sparkling clean bathroom and good packaged products and good shade), so we ended up coming here twice (which rarely happens).
Viorel M — Google review
This small rocky cove provides an alternative to the larger and more crowded Agios Spiridon offering. There's a well stocked cafeteria here offering an elevated view over the beach as well as sun loungers, toilets and a small changing room. There's also a watersports platform from which you can kayak, SUP or take motorised craft out along well marked lanes - however it does spoil the aesthetic somewhat. It would be a bit rocky for most tastes but does offer some good snorkelling. You can also wander around the rocky shoreline to the left for some good photo opps.

Alipa Beach is a hidden gem nestled near the charming Paleokastritsa marina, offering visitors a delightful blend of natural beauty and local culture. This picturesque beach features soft sand interspersed with small pebbles, creating an inviting atmosphere for sunbathers and swimmers alike. The stunning turquoise waters are simply mesmerizing, making it an ideal spot for relaxation.
Beautiful clear waters and refreshing temperature in August! Very picturesque too! Amenities: There is a little tavern right in the beach that offers a WC - there is also a shower available. The walk from the parking is 5 minutes. Beware this is not a sandy beach - it’s thick pebbles - so better bring something to sit on.
Nikos K — Google review
Lots going on, not a quiet beach, but plenty beach to chill. Good for snorkeling.
Kimi — Google review
Beautiful little Bay with gorgeous, calm, clear water. Lots of parking available. It was very hot the day we went. Rocky/pebbly and sandy beach with beach shower available.
Jess — Google review
Alipa beach I would say is more of a tourist attraction than beach as is tiny and have boats too. Recommend for a stop and take some pics. Also, there is a restaurant close by.
Maria A — Google review
Nope, not a beach you should aim to visit in Greece, there are so many more beautiful beaches that are not within a marina… just a round the corner there are a few…
C C — Google review
! ! S C A M M E R S ! ! ! STOLLEN MONEY FROM BAG ! ! ! Here is my story: I went to the beach in front of the Alipa restaurant and let my beach bag on the sand, after that I went in the water and after 10 minutes I realised that my bag is not at the place, where I put it, but was on a different place like 15 meters near and more precise on the stairs which are from the sand to the restaurant. After that I checked my beach bag and realised that my second smaller bag with personal things like card ID, passport, credit cards, car keys and cash money is not there!!!????!!!!! It was around 11am and at this time there were around 10-15 people in total where all were families and older people! After that I went to the bar at Alipa restaurant and I said to the staff where is my bag because I thought that probably they maybe can keep safe. After that for my lucky, they returned it back to me (inside the restaurant, probably from office room). When I opened the bag I realised that my money were not there ( 250 euros and 130 BGN ) so I said to the staff that my money are not here and I want my money back. There were 3-4 people and all started talking each other like probably ( what to do - returning or not ) also one person started calling someone by phone. So in about 2 minutes I received also my bulgarian money back full amount but the euro not. So I asked also and for the euros, but they rejected to return. Then I went to the police to report that problem and to be honest I felt that the police was protecting the Alipa restaurant because I pleased to check the cameras and the police officer was explaining to me that they probably are not working or not recording or something like that and that actually nothing could be done and just to accept that fact. But still after 1 hour of discussion finally we made the procedure and the police officer asked me which is the restaurant after that he called by phone someone and after 2 minutes of discussion he told that me that there is no camera, but I already saw it so I said that there is camera. After signature of the procedure document the officer got very nervous and started talking with his colleague and they both started aggressively to talk each other. Finally we went to the place and officer asked me where is the camera and I showed to him and after that the manager opened a telephone and showed some recorded video from before (when the accident happened), but basically there are big umbrellas at the restaurant which are hiding the sand, so you can’t see something because it’s hidden and that’s the only camera. And then everything ends.. the answers and the explanations from Alipa staff were that there is a person who is “cleaning” the beach and the bag was “found” and then they bring the private one to inside the office. Even the police officer when arrived asked nobody like what is happening who what has seen, touched, moved and etc.. even the officer spoke to the manager on greek language so I understand nothing which also is wrong for me, they should speak each other in front of me on English from the start to the end so I understand everything.. The fact that someone from the restaurant staff taken the private bag from the bigger beach bag from initial place where I put the bag or the “newer” place where I found it moved.. to the office room inside the restaurant SPEAKS 100% THAT THEY AS A WHOLE TEAM STOLE MY MONEY!!!!! The other trick of course probably would be that in case I have seen the guy when is taking the bag and went to him to ask what the hell he is doing always they can answer that “they are thinking that it’s forgotten”!! So in anyway they will try to steal your personal stuffs and money mostly!! I will now contact also and share this real story to the government, because this is not a normal and should be fixed for the future!!
Yavor G — Google review
Nice bay, easy to Park the car, nice water, and surroundings and you can do some snorkeling, but there are many boats. It didn't bother us. We hired a taxi boat to visit the caves and other beaches
Karin E — Google review
It's the port whet your collect your tour boat. That was fun, 6 hours of cruising the bay, note got can get to the limit that you're allowed to sail inside 20 minutes, but there are so many boat access only beaches and cave's , your can easily chew up 6 hours. The beaches in the Port area Ave the calmest on the west side, and the water is warmer then the rest side of Corfu. Enjoy

Limni Beach Glyko is a stunning destination that captivates beach enthusiasts and water sports lovers alike. This picturesque spot features crystal-clear blue waters and sandy shores, divided into two beautiful bays connected by lush vegetation. Visitors can enjoy various amenities such as sun loungers, umbrellas, showers, and changing rooms for a comfortable day at the beach. The scenic views of Paleokastritsa's famous coves add to its charm.
We rented a boat the whole day and found Limbi beach the best one for us, as it has 2 sides and the shallow side is perfect for small kids. There came also many visitors by boat taxis, which I would recommend, if you don't have your own boat, as the way on foot is steep and exhausting. We liked the crystal clear waters, the quirky "canteen boat" visit, where you can get nice hot or cold drinks 👌, the several paths up for taking pictures at viewpoints or to go to the secluded Klimatia beach (NE). Would recommend to be attentive or bring water shoes as we found some sea urchins
Xenophiloge ( — Google review
This beach is so pretty, nestled between two rocks it is very protected from wind and waves so ideal when the wind is blowing (which it does so often in Greece) waters are crystal bright green, this together with the looming rocks right above you make it truly unique. A great place to visit , oh and of you stay near the rocks you will get shade later on in the day….
C C — Google review
Not sure what all the fuzz is about. Just a beach like any other in the area, but with the occasional added noise pollution in summer afternoons provided by such a thing as a ‘bar boat’, which is basically just an mc talking over a tape pounding the finer selection of guilty pleasures of the past three decades. Must be fun if you’re young and drunk, but I’ld prefer it if they’ld either keep the beats in Ipsos and whatever, or mix it properly live and provide a real dj spinning brasil or african house. You know, something actually worth listening to. That being said, the beach is, ofcourse, fine, although rocky. It would seem that the water is quite similar as any of the next bays, and I suspect much of the aquatic life won’t limit itself to just this one bay area. No facilities whatsoever there, so you’ll notice people’ve used the better part of the bushes around the area for toilet. Always a pleasant smell, if you’re into exposing your nostrils to the products of other people’s evacuated bowles. My advise? Do go, but know there are lots of other beaches offering the same experience, and a lot more quiet.
Ingur Z — Google review
A unique beach offering a breathtaking panorama. To reach it, you can enjoy a short scenic walk or take a boat ride.
Julian ( — Google review
Personally i think this is the best beach in Corfu. Its small but not too crowded. There is a small cave you can easily get to without swimming. You can go to the small island that's connected to the beach and take very good photos from up there. Google maps will show you a way to this beach but when you get to a certain point you will see a "private road" sign and you'll need to take the road next to it going upward. Once you're up there you'll eventually see a path going downward into the woods and you'll get to it from there. Its a bit of a hike but definetly worth the view.
Bart B — Google review
Nice beach! A lot of fish you can swim of snorkel between. Not too crowded
Ymke — Google review
Beautiful. Rocky, pebbly beach. Crystal Clear water. Lounge chairs. No umbrellas.
Danielle L — Google review
Amazing pebble beach with crystal clear waters. If you manage to go early there is a chance you could gee a place near the rocks where the sun will shine a bit later in the day. There are sin beds that you could use, but we didn’t ask for the price. Several times daily a bar boat comes to the shore where you could buy drinks, coffee, bear, sandwiches and ice cream. Parking is really hard to find later in the day and you should consider that there is 15 minute walk down to the beach and at least 20 up to the car when you go.

Beach
The Agia Triada Beach is a sandy beach with a gravel strip at the edge, which makes it easy to access and perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and parasailing. It's also ideal for water skiing and boat rentals are available. The blue waters and sunset make it an enjoyable place to spend a day.
Agia Triada Beach is nothing short of magical. From the moment we set foot on its soft golden sand, we were completely enchanted. The stunning contrast of the deep blue Ionian Sea against the lush greenery of the surrounding hills creates a picture-perfect setting that feels almost unreal. The water is crystal-clear, inviting us for endless swims, while the gentle sea breeze carries the scent of salt and summer. The sun casts a warm, golden glow over everything, making the colors of nature even more vibrant – from the shimmering blues of the sea to the deep greens of the pine trees framing the coastline. It’s the kind of place where time slows down, and every moment feels like a scene from a dream. Whether you’re looking to relax under the sun, take a peaceful walk along the shore, or simply soak in the breathtaking scenery, Agia Triada Beach offers it all. It’s a place that awakens the senses and fills the soul with pure joy. We left with hearts full of admiration and a deep desire to return – because some places are just too special to visit only once.

Lovely beach, I would recommend getting there early or pre- booking Sunbeds if you require them. The beach is also stony so get some sea shoes that’s what we did and it was perfect
Maddie M — Google review
Lovely beach although sun loungers are pricey. Parking is also tricky unless you park at one of the beach clubs. Watersport’s available and places to grab food/drinks/use the toilet etc.
Daniel W — Google review
Views are breathtaking with plenty to do to suit everyone whether you want a relaxing time at the beach or fun water sports. Easy to park and plenty of sun loungers to hire for the day at reasonable prices. Down side is the beach can be very busy at times but definitely worth the trip.
Michael P — Google review
Actually the beach is pretty nice, BUT there is only a tiny space for free! Almost all beach is covered by extremely overpriced sun beds 🥲(the pictures from other reviewers are from ages ago and now the “free” spaces is much smaller. Maybe 12 people max can fit in the free space. I would recommend coming for a swim in the afternoon when there are less people. Important: to get to the beach the quick way -> there is a shop next to it, on the left side there is a sign 🪧 and some stairs to go down.
Valeria M — Google review
Not bad. It’s very pretty. To the left of the beach it is quite sandy and shallow, which is good for kids and swimming. To the right hand side of the beach, there are some rocks and is good for some snorkelling. The beach can get quite busy, and there are boats going in and out constantly. The sun beds are operated by the two bars on the beach. We were there on a weekend, one of the bars was fully booked, and the other one charged €30 for 2 sun beds with a parasol.

Just passed a tiny supermarket and found a way to this beach. To the left there seems to be a restaurant/bar and they have sunbeds and umbrellas to rent. But if you sneak yourself in from this tiny alley, you can just lay down on your towel and enjoy this beautiful beach. The water is so clear ind turquoise and blue. Enjoyed my stay.

Beautiful beach with clear waters and a great boat tour service around Corfu, though swimming was tricky due to too many rocks in the water

Liapades Beach, situated on the southern coast of Corfu, is a developed stretch of coastline known for its vineyards and Ionian architecture. The deep blue waters are teeming with marine life, making it a popular spot for snorkeling. Visitors can also find secluded coves to swim in and escape the crowds. Accessible from Gyfera, this charming beach offers a picturesque setting surrounded by cliffs and coves.
Beautiful beach, it’s more comercial compared to other more remote beaches you can find around the isle. Sunbeds available (20 EUR), boats to rent without license, including paddle boats (20 EUR/h). You can have some food options, the always great Greek salad and yogurt with honey and fruits.
Marius B — Google review
Nice small beach at the end of the village. Can park car at beach if you.pay sea chair for 10euro. For us its great. Some food and drinks served direct to you Most recomended to rest and relax
Yariv B — Google review
Very pretty and there also is a small public area which does not cost anything and is great ! but you have to pay around 20 euros for the beach loungers and the staff wasn't that kind. Also there you are not allowed to drink a small sip of your own water even if you need to take medication or something you have to buy a drink. Otherwise great beach and as i said there is a public area where you can do anything you want you just don't have sun coverage :)
Johanna — Google review
Nice beach. Clear water. You can rent set of sunbeds and there are nice restaurants on the beach. You also can rent boats. However there are almost no parking place.
Amit G — Google review
Nice beach with lots of hire boats coming and going. Beach is fairly clean, but could do with the restaurant owners and hire boat companies picking up the litter and encouraging tourists to put litter in a bag and take it to the nearest bin. Water is clear and clean with lots of fish to see. I recommend snorkelling there, but stay within your depth if you’re not a strong swimmer. The fish love frozen peas to eat! Stunning scenery and great for a morning sunbathing and or snorkelling. The beach definitely needs some signs to remind people not to be disgusting and dispose of their rubbish appropriately. Don’t forget to take plenty of drinking water and sun cream
Christian S — Google review
Great if you don’t mind lying on dirty beaches . The businesses on the beach who charge ridiculous prices for products and sun loungers should have the responsibility of cleaning the beach every day. Cigarette ends, plastic products etc. A disgrace that the businesses can sit back and take all your money and never think to provide a clean beach!

Ampelaki Beach is a picturesque paradise with clear waters and lovely sand, perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and snorkeling. Surrounded by lush greenery and rolling hills, the beach offers stunning views and various activities like volleyball, frisbee, and limbo. Amenities such as sun loungers, umbrellas, and changing rooms are available for visitors' convenience. Additionally, beachfront studios and apartments are conveniently located nearby along with supermarkets and restaurants.
It's a small bay for you that offers a lot. Sunbeds for 20€ and also canoeing if you prefer. There is no place to buy drinks here. You have to go walking for a minute to get to the shop. Perfect place to enjoy sunshine and sunset.
Rrahim J — Google review
Ampelaki is a serene, picture‑perfect cove just west of bustling Paleokastritsa—pebbly-sandy, quietly tucked between green hills and dramatic cliffs. The vibe is peaceful, ideal for those seeking a natural escape from crowded tourist spots. Ampelaki isn’t party central—it’s all about quiet relaxation and nature. Boat rentals let you explore hidden nearby coves, and having the older dive centre on-site brings added underwater exploration potential

20 euros for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella. There's no food or drink bar nearby. It is really quiet and good place to chill. It was ok for snorkeling, but you can easily swim to the nearest beach which had more stuff to see.

Very quiet and secluded beach. 30€ for a front row No amenities except a shower and a changing cabin. There are lots of opportunities to buy food on the other side of the parking. Very nice for swimming and snorkelling. Beach was very clean.

Beautiful bay but the beach is pretty much completely taken up with sun loungers and umbrellas for hire. We had planned to hire one pair of loungers for our parents and just set up on the beach ourselves, but there was no space to do that, so we ended up going back to the main beach instead.

Nice small beach for snorkeling. The beds these days are 30,- for the rows on the beach, that's a bit much. With a bit of determination you can find some cool underwater creatures here.

Bella Vista Viewpoint offers stunning panoramic views of Paleokastritsa and the rest of Corfu. It's a popular stop for visitors, offering a variety of food and beverages with quality service. The viewpoint is accessible via winding roads, but the breathtaking scenery makes it well worth the trip. Many recommend bringing a professional camera to capture the spectacular views. Whether enjoying tea and cakes or simply taking in the scenery, Bella Vista Viewpoint is not to be missed when visiting Corfu.

During our two-day vacation, we saw magnificent views of the places we visited. However, the roads are quite narrow. It's best to go during quiet hours; traveling during busy times can be challenging. The scenery is stunning.

Amazing view and not much else. Even if the place was empty, it was difficult to convince the manager to let us (2 persons) in. The food was not as good as in other restaurants, there was no drinks menu, a lot of wasps on the terrace. In such an amazing place, things could be done much better.

The Blue Eye Cave is a stunning sea cave located at the base of sandstone cliffs, and it can only be accessed by boat. The crystal-clear aquamarine waters reflect various shades of blue, creating an enchanting sight that resembles an eye gazing back at you. Visitors recommend taking a boat trip to this unique spot for snorkeling and observing the clear, deep blue water teeming with fish.
Go! It is a once in a lifetime experience. You will have an amazing time. Book a tour with a company near the beach/docks and travel with them. They will take you to all of the caves and to a beach nearby. The water is very clear and blue and the rock formations are awesome. 11/10 experience.
Cathy S — Google review
Visiting Blue Eye Cave near Agia Triada Beach was one of the highlights of our trip to Corfu. My partner and I were absolutely mesmerized by the intense blue water, which seemed almost unreal. From the boat, we could see schools of fish swimming just beneath the surface, so close it felt like we could reach out and touch them. The boat tour itself was fantastic, taking us to hidden caves, dramatic cliffs, and secluded beaches along the Paleokastritsa coast. The captain shared fascinating local stories, making the experience even more special.
Yarys — Google review
It's not that big of a deal. The way the rock is formed, there's an open space at the bottom of the rock. And the wayer level is actually above the hole in the rock. So when you are on the shaded side of the rock on a sunny day , you will see the light shine through. Of course, the water in the area is clear with a wonderful blue color that is created from the sea floor. The hole allows the light to shine through, which illuminates beautifully. You have to be in a boat. It's actually more of an inlet formed by rocks, and they seem to be called caves. In my opinion, to draw tourists to pay for boat rides along the edge of cliffs and rocks. At no point are you actually traveling through a cave with a ceiling above you. The blue rock cave is part of a tour with a so-called cave. Yes, seeing that blue water and actually being on a boat is fun. But I thought we would be in a boat going into caves, and that was not the case. But, for something to do and to have a view of land from the water. It may be worth it for you. I wouldn't do it again.
Sylvie W — Google review
It's a nice, relaxing boat ride out to see some nearby caves. The whole affair is ~45 minutes; 15€/adult, 5€/child. Going into it knowing all the above, it was a very fun trip, with a captain that gave interesting facts about the area and gave some wonderful context to the island. If you expect more than a leisurely cruise and a few minutes in islands, you will be disappointed. If, like me, you know what you're signing up for, it's a blast.
Filippos R — Google review
Another beautiful cave along the Paleokastritsa coast line. Went as part of a small boat trip around the bay. Given its name from its appearance, "Blue Eye". Clear blue water and lots of fish. Worth a visit.

Nereids Restaurant & Bar is a charming family-owned establishment in the heart of Paleokastritsa's culinary scene. With over 38 years of history, it offers warm hospitality and delicious Greek cuisine that reflects tradition and a passion for food. The comfortable atmosphere exudes relaxation, romance, and elegance, while the professional staff ensures a delightful dining experience. Although event information and the menu may not be readily available online, Nereids is known for its excellent food and value.
Loved our meal here. We shared the prawns and bread & dips for starters - these were all amazing, just the right amount and very flavoursome. I had the Mediterranean sea bass and my boyfriend had the chicken wrapped in bacon with vegetables and fries. The seating on the patio was beautiful, the staff were very attentive and the desserts & wine were great too!

We made a reservation and were seated at one of the restaurant's best tables. The waiters were friendly and helpful. The ambiance was captivating, and live music began in the carefully designed garden that evening. The burratta cheese and cold appetizer platter were delicious. We ate Corfu meat dishes. It was a special experience for us. The food was very close to traditional Ottoman cuisine. It was a culturally significant experience. The venue also has private parking. Smoking is not permitted at the tables, and there's a nice separate area. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend it.

We had a fabulous time at Nereids! The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, with a classy yet relaxed vibe. The staff were wonderful—attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome. The food was delicious, with generous portions that left us fully satisfied. Overall, a perfect dining experience.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, everything at Nereids was just perfect. The atmosphere is elegant and stylish without feeling pretentious, with every detail adding to the high-end vibe of the place. The service was fantastic. Attentive, friendly, and professional, making us feel welcome and cared for the whole evening. The food was outstanding too: from starters to dessert, every dish was cooked to perfection, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. What really made the evening extra special was the live performance with traditional Greek dance. The artists didn’t just perform, they got the patrons involved, which made it fun, lively, and truly memorable. Nereids combines elegance, amazing food, and entertainment in a way that feels effortless. A wonderful spot for a special evening in Corfu. Highly recommended!

Corfu Donkey Rescue, located in Paleokastritsa, is a must-visit for animal enthusiasts. The sanctuary provides a safe haven for abandoned and retired donkeys, offering visitors the chance to interact with these gentle creatures amidst a picturesque setting of olive trees and mountains. Since its establishment in 2004, the rescue has taken in over 500 neglected donkeys, providing them with care and compassion from dedicated staff and volunteers.
BEST THING EVER. This was my first time visiting Corfu donkey rescue and I just fell in love with all the donkeys there. They have about 20 donkeys and a foal and it was wonderful to share the love with them. It’s amazing you get to go over all of the poles and enter the areas where the donkeys are just existing. You’re also allowed to brush the donkeys which was lovely. The donkeys are very well looked after. There were also lots of cats and dogs there which they seem to have rescued. It was a very heart warming place and they obviously care for their animals very very well. It was quite difficult to get to, but absolutely worth the ride. Do leave a donation as it helps look after the donkeys..
Emilia E — Google review
All around Corfu you see thousands of fridge magnets and othe souvenirs made in China with donkey motives. But you don't see not even one donkey, except this great place! This is so great that there are people who help those beautiful animals. Some are very slim - you can see they had hard time. Some are in perfect shape. But you can be sure all will have very good live in this great place.
Pa H — Google review
We visited in September and were truly moved by what we saw. It’s a serene haven where these gentle animals can live freely, safely, and with the care they deserve. It’s clear that the team pours their heart into making the wellbeing of every resident—donkeys, cats, and dogs alike—a top priority. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the animals coexist in comfort and harmony. If you find yourself in Corfu, don’t miss the chance to visit. Your support helps ensure these beautiful souls continue to live with dignity and love.
Dee44 — Google review
A trip worth your time. The animals there are really cute and nice. You can pet all the cats, the donkeys and the dogs. They've really given us a good mood. Left a generous donation for giving us such a nice time and we hope to see more of them getting adopted or at least to have a good life in there. The staff is the friendliest ever, they try to help you with any request you have and they take such good care of all the animals. I have to say the road that leads there is very tricky and not the best, so be careful. A must visit if you go to Corfu and you love animals <3
Danza T — Google review
I recently visited a donkey rescue and was truly blown away by the incredible work they’re doing. The staff and volunteers clearly care deeply for the animals and are doing their absolute best to give every donkey a safe, happy, and healthy life. The donkeys are well looked after, and it was heartwarming to see how much love and attention each one receives. You can tell this isn’t just a rescue, it’s a sanctuary where these animals are given a second chance. It’s a peaceful, welcoming place, and perfect for families or anyone who loves animals. I left with a full heart and a deep appreciation for the hard work that goes into caring for these beautiful creatures. I would highly recommend a visit, you won’t regret it!

Recently we visited the Corfu Donkey Rescue, and what a touching visit is was! The place is a real sanctuary and made a lasting impression. All the animals are well looked after and seem calm and content. The respect and love for the animals is clear: passionated volunteers, no entrance fee, no feeding by the visitors or unnecesary extras that take away focus/recourses on caring for the animals. All the more reason to donate as generously as possible on your way out :)

Nestled on the stunning west coast of Corfu, Rovinia Beach is a hidden gem that captivates visitors with its pebbled shoreline framed by lush wooded mountains and olive groves. This picturesque beach can be accessed via a scenic hiking trail from the nearby village of Liapades or by boat from Paleokastritsa. The enchanting green-blue waters and dramatic caves create an idyllic setting that feels like stepping into a postcard.
What a pleasant place to spend the day. The beach has plenty of space for everyone, people are very social, the water is perfect for snorkeling and exploring, the rocks are fun to jump off of. All in all, highly recommended.

The best beach in Corfu! There are some steps to go down but it’s not too difficult. Make sure you bring your own food because there is only a supermarket at the top of the steps and bring your own blanket as there’s no sunbeds but I would really recommend this beach the water is very clear and clean and blue..

Our favorite beach on the island! Great view, not much wind and beautiful white stone beach! Usually not too crowded, would recommend parking on top of the hill, roads get pretty narrow and have a lot of holes!

Amazing beach!!! Went there at the end of October and only a few other people were there. The small lane down to the car park is a bit mental …steep, narrow and very uneven …I was happy it wasn’t busy as it would have been difficult to pass other cars. The beach is only a short walk from the car park but even the walk is amazing due to the incredible views.
Michael H — Google review
Breathtaking beach with clear blue water. Small tucked away beach but worth the visit. Variety of fishes to watch when snorkelling. They have a canteen on boat that serves food, hot drinks and refreshment. Beach has a roped climb to jump down into the water from higher rocks.
Shugs B — Google review
The beach is located approximately 700 meters away and can be reached on foot. It is recommended to go early in the morning, as parking becomes unavailable later in the day and the beach tends to get very crowded. The water is beautifully clear, with white pebbles and sand, but due to the natural springs in the area, it is considered the coldest sea on Corfu.
Jelena S — Google review
Very nice beach, but can get a little too crowded (in my opinion). But we stayed to watch the sunset and it was magical, and only a few people left. 😅 To access the parking lot, be prepared for a very narrow off-road path. From the car, there is a 15 minutes walk to the beach.
Nutu E — Google review
Whilst pretty popular, one of the more relaxing spots in Corfu and still so beautiful. No sunbeds or amenities like that which I think contributes to the peacefulness of the spot. I’d recommend parking at the top carpark (€5 all day, 800m walk to beach, plenty of spots here on a Tuesday at 1pm) particularly if you have a small rental car. This is because like the other reviews mention, the road starts to get rocky and dodgy. This is particularly so after the second car park (D.side Rovina) where it really isn’t even a proper road. Free of charge though.

Dolphin Restaurant is a charming Greek eatery located just outside the main Paleokastritsa area, offering traditional dishes like Moussaka, Gyros, mixed grills, Greek salads, pasta, and seafood. Accessible via a short walk or drive from the marina, it boasts stunning views across the bay and provides a romantic setting for an evening meal. Fantastic view from this restaurant - just stunning! Moreover, the restaurant boasts a captivating seaside view and its staff members exude affability and warmth. Regrettably, due to an extended wait time of over 30 minutes to prepare meals, it falls short of earning a perfect rating.
Amazing handmade food. Brilliant service. The view from the restaurant is amazing. We loved it. It was also cheap! We had two big burgers with fries and two drinks and it came to £26. Very good. I would recommend.
Patricia G — Google review
Amazing view of the bay at sunset. Had a chicken gyros for 2 and a Greek salad- both very tasty. Friendly and efficient service. All very reasonably priced. Thoroughly recommend.
Marie S — Google review
Hidden gem! Loved this place and the food. Everything on the menu was very simple and tasted just perfect. The portions were very big - one dish was easily for two people. Highly recommend comming. The gyros chicken club sandwich was superb - and nice touch for changing the toast bread for pita bread. But be prepared for long waiting time - bout 30 min
Ania O — Google review
Probably the best gyros I’ve ever had! The gyros club sandwich was really varied and flavorful, the fries were perfectly seasoned, and the view was the cherry on top. The restaurant is a bit hidden and can only be accessed via the beach.
Vanda F — Google review
After a wonderful boat ride, we wanted a snack, and based on the reviews, we went to this cafe. The food is gyros. We ordered pork gyros and a Margherita pizza for the kids. The food was good for fast food. However, I think 58 euros is expensive. For exactly the same price, we had dinner at a wonderful restaurant in Sidari with excellent wine. But overall, it was not bad for a snack. The service was good.
Владимир Т — Google review
I didn’t expect the chicken gyros sandwich to be this delicious, and the portion was really generous. There’s also a nice view, and the staff was very kind. I can only recommend this place!
Daniel N — Google review
Really nice location, good price and amazing food. We had the chicken gyros sandwiches for two and it was super tasty. The views are incredible and everyone is friendly, they speak English very well.

Alipa Port is a small but picturesque port located in the beautiful region of Paleokastritsa, Corfu. The port boasts modern facilities and is home to charming fishing boats that make for great photo opportunities. Visitors can also embark on underwater adventures aboard the Yellow Submarine or rent various types of boats to explore the coastline. Additionally, Alipa Port offers a delightful cafe and bar where visitors can enjoy drinks with scenic views of the water.
Cracking experience, online enquiry and booking was easy. Boat collection and instructions were flawless. Our trip was amazing. A must do for anyone visiting this area. Thanks to Roni, Kostas and their team. Definitely value for money

I love the port in Paleo! It's a beautiful location for a walk and to sit by the water just to watch the boats and people! And there's a bar !

Beautiful place! very helpful crew and great facilities. We had some beers at the port's cafe & bar. they had great music. We rented a boat with a captain, great experience and he told us all the great stories and secrets of the area. Very recommended!!!!!

Safe harbour placed in beautiful city. Unfortunately close in season 2024 because of renovation. Electricity, water and WC was in price. No showers.

Highly recommend! My wife and I took a private tour with a skipper. great service and a wonderful experience.

Small port on Corfu. Its all pretty new with lots of concrete and very little shade. It's not an old harbour with wooden jetty's. They do have nice fishingboats that make a nice photo. It also harbours the Yellow Submarine on which you can see the underwater life of Corfu. You can also rent various kinds of boats with different companies in town. We did not see many sailing boats so cannot say whether its a nice harbour to use for the naught when sailing. There is a beach where you can swim and use floatables.

If you are looking for a secluded beach with calm waters, Verderosa Beach is definitely worth visiting. It's located close to the city, but it's still easy to find and access. The beach has plenty of rocks in the water, but if you want something more tranquil and peaceful, be sure to venture further out into the port.
Cute little hidden beach. You have to climb down steep stairs but it’s so worth it. If you plan to be a bigger group definitely come before 11 as it gets quite packed.
Nele S — Google review
Pebbly beach with lots of stones in the water but if you snorkel/swim out more in the port you’ll have the most amazing calm clear turquoise water. Not busy because I guess there used to be a restaurant beside that also provided sun beds but now it’s abandoned. There’s stairs going down and a tiny rough parking close to the stairs for about 3-4 cars. Close by you can rent boats. And there’s a bunch of others beaches around very close too!
Alexandra P — Google review
Cute little beach, with the access through stairs from the main road. Not so much people go there, because a bit more inside the city, theres more popular beaches.
Jarmo V — Google review
Nice beach early in the morning. With capacity of 10 people it gets crowded to 100+ people after 10am, everyone literaly standing on each other's heads, completely ignorant to presence of other people around. Also lots of boats come here from the port, and they teach young drivers to drop anchor, so not too safe to swim too far either. Avoid this at all costs, there are plenty nice beaches in both directions.
Taheen 2 — Google review
A small one, not for family / w/ kids set up (do not go w/ the kids and disturb others ;)))) Also very tempting to go after 6/7pm

Nestled on the stunning island of Corfu, Platakia Beach is a hidden gem that offers a serene escape for those seeking relaxation. Known locally as Verderoza, this charming white pebble beach boasts crystal-clear waters that are perfect for snorkeling adventures. As you explore the underwater world, keep an eye out for vibrant marine life like Ornate Wrasse and even the elusive Leopard Moray Eel.
Platakia is a white pebble beach, with excellent clear (though chilly) water. Very good for snorkelling and exploring the rocks in the bay. See brightly coloured Ornate Wrasse, Sea Bream, and keep an eye out for Octopus, Sea Cucumbers, and maybe the shy but imposing Leopard Moray Eel. Accessible via steps by the Dolphin Restaurant, between the Belvedere Restaurant and Vivaria Pool Bar, or beside the Horizon Restaurant / Sea Breeze apartments. A shower is available near the Dolphin steps. Further round the bay to the East, steps from the road lead to the adjacent, smaller, Verderosa beach. Round the headland to the South-West lies Alipa beach and the harbour.
JJ L — Google review
Beaches with civilized sun beds and pools require booking in advance and are full on the weekends. We came instead on this small pebble beach (there are large stones farther in the water). There is almost no space on the beach, water is freaking cold (August 2). No facilities. 2 stars just for the view. You can’t call this a beach.
Viktoriia L — Google review
Platakia is perfect in every way. We arrived in the morning and escaped any crowds. The water is a bit chilly but it's just gorgeous and tucked away. It's a pebble beach, so water shoes are recommended.
Carissa Y — Google review

In my opinion, this is one of the best beaches in Corfu. It’s a very small pebble beach, so I imagine it can get crowded in peak season. When we visited at the end of August and beginning of September, it was quite relaxed, though space is definitely limited. The water is crystal clear, the views are stunning, and the atmosphere is much calmer than most other spots in Paleokastritsa.

Porto Timoni beach is a hidden gem tucked away beneath the charming village of Afionas, making it one of Corfu's most secluded spots. This stunning twin beach features two distinct coves separated by a narrow strip of land, with each offering its own unique charm—one side showcases vibrant blue waters while the other boasts deeper shades.
The view from the top is absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, as you get closer to the trail and the beaches, you can find garbage scattered around, which is such a shame. Some tourists really should take their trash with them—or simply stay home if they can’t respect that 😤 Five stars for the nature ✨️
George I — Google review
The beach is reached via a narrow stone path about a kilometer long. You should go in sneakers, without carrying too many things, with enough food and water, and be prepared for a bit of hiking. The beach is interesting but small, with both sandy and rocky areas. It’s beautiful for photography from above.
Jelena S — Google review
Easy to Intermediate hike to the Beach, lots of steep rocks. Definitely need proper foot gear (no flip flops/open toe sandals) Amazing views! Great snorkeling and swimming location. Water-Taxi pick up/drop off location.
A M — Google review
Beautiful beaches. The road isn't very pretty, but it's worth it. There's a lot of human waste on the road—which is a downside, but it's society's fault. I recommend walking further past the main beaches; you might find quieter water access points.
Martyna — Google review
A lovely little village. Sturdy shoes are recommended for the descent to the viewpoints. During peak season, it can get very crowded, so watch your step. We were there at the end of October, and there were very few tourists. The view is breathtaking. You can walk right down to the beach. Highly recommended.
Artur A — Google review
A must do! The hike was really fun...took us maximum 30 minutes with our kids (7 & 10) but I really recommand wearing shoes for your safety as the rocks are slippery and it's an uneven path. Take lots of water as most of the path is in sun and it can't get very hot during summer. The beach itself is nice (mix of sand and pebbles). It's a bit small and can get overcrowded, but worth it if you are in to beautiful viewpoint and hiking :) Parking is available in the village for 10 euros
Stéphanie M — Google review
Absolutely stunning beach with crystal-clear water! Getting there, though, is an adventure. The trail can get slippery after rain (thanks to that lovely clay ground), and it’s mostly rocky - so wear proper closed shoes and watch your step. Do not, I repeat, do NOT wear flip-flops… unless you have a strong desire to perish. I’ll admit, halfway down I was questioning my life choices - but once you see that turquoise water, you’ll know it’s 100% worth it. Oh, and if you’re not feeling particularly brave (or coordinated), there’s a boat taxi that’ll take you there and back 😂
Aleksandra W — Google review
A wee walk down so I’d wear sneakers or close toed shoes but definitely worth it. We went down around 5pm so we could have a final swim and wasn’t too busy going down or going up. Take a bag and a beer as it is 3€ on the way down otherwise you can’t purchase anything down the bottom. Enjoy the bliss

Aquarium
Nature & Parks
Nestled at the base of Paleokastritsa's monastery headland, Corfu Aquarium offers a captivating display of marine life and reptiles. The aquarium showcases a diverse array of indigenous fish, crustaceans, starfish, and sea snails from Corfu's waters and the wider Mediterranean. Visitors can also marvel at boas, pythons, iguanas, and even a crocodile in the thrilling reptile room.
Great place to visit even though it’s not very large. Half the exhibits are marine life and the others amphibians and reptiles. All are rescue creatures which makes the place more special and worthwhile. We arrived a little early for the guided tour so waited in the cafe with a pager. Once it was time they notified us and we went in. Our guide was knowledgable and explained each enclosure in detail. We combine the ticket with the boat tour which was fantastic. If you are a student and can show ID then there is a reduction in ticket price.
PJ O — Google review
Miltos was our tour guide, he was very enthusiastic and informative about the animals in the aquarium. We were fascinated. We also got to hold Cleo the snake at the end! The aquarium is quite small but packed with so many interesting sea creatures to learn about. A great educational day out and very reasonably priced.
Amy W — Google review
Small but great entertainment for both adults and kids. You need to wait for a given time and for your guide. Our guide was awesome, was well prepared and knew almost all the names of animals in 5 different languages. James, you stole my heart with strzykwa and żaba😀 !
Aleksandra S — Google review
A very professional aquarium in Corfu. We took the boat tour and the aquarium tour back-to-back. I'm currently reviewing the aquarium. It's crucial to tour with a guide. First, they explain the creatures that live in Corfu and provide valuable information. Then, they move on to examples from around the world. The guide said that animals in poor health come here for treatment and then spend their lives here. For example, the crocodile can't even feed itself; they feed it directly, but it's recovered well now. It's a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it. Don't worry about parking; there's a paid parking lot right in front.
Alper Ö — Google review
The tour was really interesting. Our guide didn’t linger too much on one animal and we felt we got a really interesting experience out of it. Holding a snake was particularly exciting! The gift shop and canteen attached was also great. Well worth the visit on our last day in Corfu 🐠
Jenna R — Google review
The aquarium itself is quite small, so it can get a bit crowded during peak hours. However, the guide was very engaging and shared lots of interesting facts about the local marine life. The tour is short but enjoyable, especially if you’re visiting with kids. We also tried the underwater boat trip, which added a nice touch to the experience. It’s worth getting the combo ticket (aquarium + boat ride) – it’s more convenient and better value. The boat ride was fun: from the underwater cabin, you can see fish and the seabed, though the deck views are actually more enjoyable, with beautiful sea and coastline scenery. The cabin can feel a bit cramped and stuffy, so it’s nicer to spend more time outside. If you’re visiting in October, be aware that strong winds often cause boat trips to be cancelled, so it’s best to check the schedule in advance. Overall, it’s a pleasant and informative stop – great for families or anyone who wants a brief dive into the marine world.
Žilvinas P — Google review
Tiny aquarium. Good for kids and you receive a tour with an explanation of the species. They rescue fish and animals with many of the reptiles in old age now. Great for kids. Tours given in multiple languages. Reptile enclosures and aquariums are too small for the species that they contain.

Limani Restaurant is a top choice in Paleokastritsa for a more upscale dining experience with a stunning view of the port. The restaurant, housed in a charming Swiss chalet-style building, offers an extensive menu featuring fresh seafood, Greek favorites, and options for vegetarians. Diners can enjoy dishes like seabream and burdeto while sipping on cold Corfu beer. The friendly and efficient waitstaff are known for their helpful recommendations.
Amazing place! This restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is incredibly fresh and flavorful, with a wide-ranging menu to satisfy every taste. Dining under the trees adds a lovely, relaxing touch to the experience. The service is outstanding—friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Really wanted to try some fish while we were in corfu and what a little gem. Sea bream cooked beautifully. Nice seasoning on the outside but didnt overpower the flavour of the fish. Served with a side dish of tomatoes, cucumber and olives. For €19.50 I highly recommend to anyone passing.

Definitely worth a visit! The food and atmosphere is amazing. It has reasonable pricing and the staff members are extremely friendly and professional. We loved it!
Peace P — Google review
Service was very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was great. Unfortunately, the food was not as expected. The mix grill plate hadn’t a good quality and was very oily, especially the chicken was not good. The potatoes and salad seemed not to be fresh. All in all the restaurant has a lot of potential when the food receives an update (quality and presentation).
Vlada M — Google review
Servers were friendly and attentive, atmosphere was nice, the food was good but had unnecessary side salad of steamed vegetables which was bland but the actual main which was seabass was very tasty and well cooked! We loved sitting under the vine leaves, very sweet setting!

Nice typical place, good attentive service but food not matching the expectations, not tasty, small portions and quite overpriced.

Very fresh and great recommendations from waiting staff Extremely friendly and entertaining, the waiters here were some of the best we have seen in Corfu. Nestled atop a steep hill, Angelokastro is an ancient castle that offers visitors a glimpse into the rich history of Corfu while rewarding them with breathtaking views. Perched 305 meters above the sparkling blue waters near Paleokastritsa and the quaint village of Krini, this fortress dates back to the 13th century and served as a strategic lookout point over both land and sea.
We really enjoyed it with the kids. Children go for free, and the adult ticket is €10. The path up is not easy, so be ready to work your legs a little and definitely take a bottle of water with you. At the top, there’s a fountain with fresh water where you can wash your face. The view is absolutely stunning. After the walk to the castle, you can have a snack or a drink and enjoy some ice cream. The people there are very friendly
Darina M — Google review
Spectacular fortress with unparalleled view. 10 Euro entry per person. Clean bathrooms at thr bottom and a coffee shop in the parking area. Not a lot of information posted so if you are hungry for hostory and details, you will have to find that on your own.

Would recommend this visit! The parking was very easy, lots of places even when we went around midday. There was a restaurant at the entrance that you could buy water and drinks etc from. The price was €10 per adult which wasn't too bad. The walk was about 5-7 minutes and was part sunny part shaded. Walking around the actual castle I would recommend wearing trainers and definitely have water with you! The views from the top were stunning and the thing that made it worth the walk was the church at the top which you can go into- felt very calming!
Tamsin H — Google review
Definitely worth a visit! The place is really interesting and the views are absolutely breathtaking! The parking area near the entrance is quite small, but you can easily park in the village of Krini, where there’s a free parking lot - it's less than a kilometer walk from there. Entrance fee is €10 per adult, and there’s a toilet just after the entrance.
Daria P — Google review
A stunning location and castle. Getting there was special in itself, unable to drive to the entrance, we weaved our way through the local village where cars are banned. Arriving at the high point gave us a stunning view across the gap to the castle and rock feature. Such a historical place and amazing facts of the 14th century castle and lifestyle. Stunning views along the Corfu coastline and sea, a must visit if exploring Corfu island and iconic landmarks. 10/10
Jason W — Google review
Gorgeous place, beautiful view. 10 euros entrance fee. It's not packed with tourists. It's a 10 minute walk up the stone steps. Wear good shoes and mind your step, as some stones are a bit slippery. The castle is a small one, in about an hour you can walk all up and around it, take gorgeous photos and enjoy the versatile view (mountain slopes, trees, sea as far as the eye can see, Palaiokastritsa in the background). It was interesting, standing on the battlements and imagining a millenia ago, laughing at an enemy army marching up the steep hill. I wouldn't want to be that army! Wonderful gem of the west coast of Corfu. Bonus points if you get to meet the resident peacock!
Tatiana V — Google review
Looks more daunting than it is! Took roughly 15 minutes total to walk to the top, with stopping to enjoy the views on the way. Paid €10 entry, my nephews who are 12 and 16 did not have to pay. Stunning views from the top, with a cafe by the entrance.
Sammy L — Google review
The best place for a sunset we've seen on Corfu! There's a parking just beneath the castle and the entrance was free. The castle was open at 20h even though it said it was closed on maps
