1Gun Hill, Mussoorie

Gun Hill, the second-highest point in Mussoorie, is a popular hilltop destination offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. Visitors can reach Gun Hill via an exhilarating cable car ride that provides a bird's eye view of the hills below. Alternatively, a bridle path branching off from Mall Road near kutchery offers a twenty-minute hike to the summit.
Amazing place, very good views and good weather, you can also find good eating options. Lots of options for kids to play games and have fun. Also cable car rides are an amazing experience to enjoy.
Rajat A — Google review
Don't miss this place when you are Mussorie!! The view from the top Is breathtaking 🙌 But the Ropeway to Gunhill is not worth. It costed 220/person. And the classes inside the cabin was old and can't see anything outside. Better walk, its just 550mtr from Mall road/ near to the ropeway.
Akshay K — Google review
Now there is NO gun here. It is said that In the days before independence, a gun was kept on top, they used it to fire bullet in the afternoon; with the help of this gun shot people used to adjust their watches. In fact, the top of hill is occupied by vendors selling soveniers, street food, magic show etc. You will have to find a place to look the mountains scenary. As soon as you get down from Trolly, vendors will surround you pestering to buy their services. Trolly ticket is ₹220 for both sides. Or you can walk for about 500 meters uphill.
Alok — Google review
This is a must visit place if you are visiting Mussoorie and unable to go other hill points. It is easy to reach for kids and senior citizens. You can buy ropeway tickets from the Mall road, then within 10minutes you'll get the chance to step into the ropeway trolley (depending upon the rush/queue) as there are only 2 trollies in service. Once you'll reach at the top, you will dind mesmerising views of Mussoorie and Dehradun like an aerial view. I would recommend to reach there around 4-5 PM, and then enjoy different shades of sky. It is good for sunset view as well. There are some shops for quick chai and snacks. If you are travelling with your friends or partner, then you must try cafe located at the top of the Gun Hull.
Varnika M — Google review
Gun Hill, Mussoorie Ruined experience This is the second-highest point in Mussoorie. You can go up by steps, or by a cable car (INR 220 per person for a return ticket). The ropeway ride is exhilarating or terrifying, depending on you. Once you get to the top, however, the experience is pathetic. The perimeter of the hilltop is completely covered with shops and stalls, so you can't see the views while walking around. There are a couple of places where the stalls have left a small gap for you to look at the view. Unless you want to enjoy the cable car experience, avoid. The same views are available at many places in Mussoorie and Landour.
Parang M — Google review
It's a view point. You can't get here without walking for some distance Per person the cost for cable car is 220 which is not cheap and the waiting time is high even on weekdays Upon reaching you get few shops for purchase, cafe and some games We can get to see sun set which is really nice If time is not a constraint then definitely this is a must go
Sooraj K — Google review
Fantastic views of Himalayas, Dehradun and mussoorie valley. Great fun of Cable 🚠 Car ar fair ticket rate. Grand peaceful temples..a large crowd visits every Time. Costly food items is punching all the way.. Lack of security and caring staff every where. Lack of medical facilities nearby a tentative irritating issue.
Kanti A — Google review
Gun Hill in Mussoorie is all about the views—and they do not disappoint. We visited around 5:30 PM, just as the sun was beginning to set, and it was absolutely the right time. The soft golden light bathing the hills made for a breathtaking scene that’s hard to capture in words or photos. To get there, we took the ropeway—a short, enjoyable ride in a small cable car that accommodates about 6-8 people. It’s worth noting that the last ropeway departs at around 8-8:30 PM, and Gun Hill itself closes around the same time (as we were told by the ropeway ticket staff), so planning your visit with time to spare is a good idea. At the top, Gun Hill offers more than just the view. There are a few restaurants and shops, along with some basic entertainment and game stalls. While these are fairly standard and not the main attraction, they can be a pleasant way to spend some extra time. Overall, Gun Hill is worth visiting primarily for its scenic beauty, especially in the evening. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the panoramic views of the Doon Valley and the surrounding hills are simply stunning.

Points of Interest & Landmarks
Lal Tibba Scenic Point is a must-visit spot in Mussoorie, a popular hill station known for its religious sites and colonial heritage. Situated at an altitude of 6000ft, it offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas. The observation deck features a telescope on the roof of a modest cafe, providing visitors with an opportunity to marvel at the picturesque perspectives and lush green vegetation.
I visited Lal Tibba and absolutely loved the experience! The view from the top was breathtaking, offering a clear glimpse of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks. The peaceful atmosphere and old-world charm made it even more special. A perfect spot to enjoy sunrise, nature, and spend quality time with family.
Shubham C — Google review
Lal Tibba cafe is just ordinary.... The view from above is just unbelievable... If it's clear sky, it's a must go place... Landour Bakehouse is must visit.... Superb taste and good ambience.... If u travelling by ur own bike or car... U will experience the most fantastic road and views ever......
Tushar B — Google review
The name Lal Tibba means "Red Hill", it is the highest point in Mussoorie. From here, you can get a great view of the surrounding peaks. It is located at the top of Landour and is a popular tourist destination. It is a great place for picnic. The peak is beautiful and the surroundings are scenic. The best time to visit the Lal Tibba is during sunset or sunrise. Located at an elevation of about 2,275 m (7,464 ft), If you are looking to view the Himalayas from afar, Lal Tibba is the perfect spot for viewing the majestic range.
Alok — Google review
🌄 Lal Tibba Scenic Cafe – Honest Review & Travel Tips Lal Tibba Scenic Cafe, perched atop Depot Hill in Landour, Mussoorie, is known for being the highest viewpoint in the region at 2,275 meters. While the location promises panoramic views of the Himalayas, my recent visit left me with mixed feelings. 🍽️ Food & Pricing The food served at the cafe is quite average and lacks distinctive flavor. Coffee lovers, beware—their brew was overly sweet and not customizable. There's a ₹50 entry fee to access the upper deck, which is redeemable against your order. However, it's charged per person and must be adjusted against individual items. So, if you're a group of three, you’ll need to order three separate dishes to redeem the full amount. 🌥️ Viewpoint Experience Unfortunately, the Himalayan range wasn’t clearly visible during my visit. For the best views—especially of peaks like Kedarnath, Badrinath, and Banderpoonch—plan your trip around November when the skies are clearer. The viewing area upstairs is quite cramped, especially during peak hours, and the much-advertised binoculars are disappointingly blurry. Don’t rely on them for a detailed view. 📍 Nearby Attractions Despite the underwhelming cafe experience, the surrounding area offers plenty to explore: - Char Dukan: A charming cluster of cafes just a short walk away, perfect for a relaxed snack. - Landour Bakehouse: A colonial-style bakery with excellent pastries and ambiance. - St. Paul’s Church: A serene, historic church nestled in the woods. - Kellogg Memorial Church: A beautiful landmark reflecting British-era architecture. - Benog Tibba & Naag Tibba Treks: Ideal for adventure seekers looking for scenic hikes. - Hathipaon Heritage Walk: A guided trail to “Mini Everest,” offering stunning views and local stories. 📝 Final Thoughts Lal Tibba Scenic Cafe is worth visiting for its historical charm and location, but temper your expectations regarding food and facilities. If you're seeking a peaceful moment with nature, consider visiting early in the morning or during the off-season. And for that postcard-perfect Himalayan view—November is your best bet.
Shubham ꪜ — Google review
A small three storied structure may be 250 sq ft each floor ground + 2 right on the cliff side with a binoculars installed at the top floor which is an open sitting area. The entrance charge is 50 rs per person which is adjusted against any food order that you place. The view is awesome as it's one of the highest points of Mussoorie. The hot food too was quite good, though you don't have much choice. The shop downstairs from where you enter has spices, honey, bee polen, etc kept for sale.
Vinod N — Google review
Lal Tibba is the highest point in Mussoorie and offers breathtaking views of the valley. The cafe has an entry fee of ₹50/- per head but it can be redeemed in your food bill. There is a telescope on the terrace and you can have your food enjoying the scenery. The food was limited to momos, sandwich, pizza, shakes, etc. and was a bit pricey. The Black coffee with honey was great . There is some local produce like red rice, bee pollen and rock salt for sale. Private residences of some celebrities are also located here. The normal road to Lal Tibba usually gets blocked and traffic is diverted by a very narrow and precarious road. Worth spending 1-2 hours there.
Nisha G — Google review
The lal tibba sunset point is approx 850 meters away from chardukan cafes. But there is a huge scam going when you visit lal tibba using taxi or rented scooters. There is a group of local people who charge u Rs50/scooty and Rs200/taxi just for visiting the sunset point. When you will ask them the reason, they will not give you clear answer and will ask you to first keep the scooter at side so that u do not run away without paying them. They are fraudsters and maybe operating there together with local police. They are highly active during sunrise and sunset times. I missed the sunset time because of these fraudsters. Try to go to the point at least 30 mins before the sunset time to avoid paying to these local fraudsters.
Prakhar J — Google review
It's a lovely place with an amazing mountain view and a calm atmosphere. The food is tasty, and reasonably priced, making it perfect for a peaceful meal while enjoying the beautiful hills.

Christ Church is a striking 19th-century church in Mussoorie, believed to be the oldest in the Himalayan range. Its Gothic architecture and beautiful stained-glass windows make it an iconic landmark in the town, reflecting its colonial past. Constructed in 1836 by British officers and visitors as their place of worship, it gained further prominence when visited by the Princess of Wales in 1906.
One the oldest church in the city Come here get knowledge of old place and get good information about the our old historical places Good feeling there On mall road it will take maximum 10 min to spend there Play area also there if you love to spend more time then you can also do here Also just outside street food options also available So go there when you are on mall road Good experience
Lostgirl — Google review
it was earlier known as Lord’s Church. The church has eight exquisite pre-Raphaelite and Victorian stained-glass windows and a rare historic William Hill organ, which was bought to the church in the 1880. Near the church is a deodar tree planted by HRH the princess of Wales in March 1906 after attending the morning service at the Church and a bible dating from 1889 kept on an exquisite stand which is dismountable in six parts.
Vikas S — Google review
An old piece of history, so lost to time that even the locals can't tell it's location. It was a bit hard to find, with Google giving intractable paths. Couldn't see the stained glass windows inside as the Church opens only on Sundays. What a site it must have been in the colonial times, looking over the valley from the mall road
Vishal V — Google review
This place is such a so beautiful and really the mansuri the queens of hills
Sonam D — Google review
Christ Church is the first church in the Himalayan region, one of the oldest churches. It has one of the most beautiful stencil art. This church has a lot of history associated with it. There's a deodar tree planted by the Queen of England. Do take your time to explore this place.
Pankaj D — Google review
Christ Church is a beautiful old church just a few meters off, above the Mussoorie Mall Road. We saw it on our walk the first day and then got the chance to visit it on 23rd June 2022. the entry is via a short uphill road. As you stand outside and see the small iron gate and the few steps inside, you can feel the magic. The Building is pretty old British and teleports you back in time. The sky was absolutely beautiful as I clicked some pics. No-one stopped up as we entered the courtyard. We were admiring the views when the caretaker came to us and asked us if we wanted to see the inside. What an opportunity. The inside is amazing with stained glass artwork, the Gothic architecture and deep silence. We stayed there for a couple of minutes, made a small donation and came back outside. Oh, what a wonderful experience. Must visit, if you are at Mussoorie.
Digital M — Google review
The location is right in the center of Mussoorie, but a bit difficult to find because there are no signs, impressed with the peaceful and ancient beauty of the church.
Duc A — Google review
Went for a visit today, but couldn't Got in because The Church was closed. But the area surrounding that church was so beautiful. It gave you such hilly freshness, and greenery. Would definitely come back to explore more.

George Everest Base, located near Sir George Everest's house, offers breathtaking views of the surrounding valley. Visitors can drive to the base and then trek 1.2km or take a shared vehicle to reach the park, which was once George Everest's office cum residence. The site has been developed as a heritage in his memory. There is an entry ticket to the base camp and a concrete path leading to it.
Worth the ₹200 ticket , the views at the peak are mesmerizing that of snow capped Himalayas , Its safe just be cautious o nthe way as there s just 10-15 meters kf narrow pebbled way in between the peak otherwise its good for even first time trekkers , dont settle for the base I repeat Go till the Peak!! There s almost a Kilometer and half jour ey from ticket counter to above and from there to peak almost 800-900meters uphill which upon seeing can be like so much but it is really this much in distance.
Aaryan N — Google review
Good place, basically you can buy a ticket for the George Everest peak trek cost rupees 200 each person, not so much for wandering.
Pankaj S — Google review
Highest point of the Masoori city .. You can see the best view of city and surroundings even you view portion of Dehradoon from the top of the George Everest.. we enjoyed stay at top in the middle of drizzling.. with gusting wind and in the middle of clouds.. it was the thriller experience over all.

Beautiful place specially the trek Parking is not great tho and they charge you money for parking and the entry all together
Rajat N — Google review
The George Everest Peak trek is a delightful walk through pine and deodar forests, offering refreshing views and a gentle climb. The path is mostly shaded and well-maintained, making it beginner-friendly. The final stretch is a bit steep and rocky, but the panoramic views from the top are totally worth it. Ideal for a half-day escape into nature!

Mussoorie Lake is a tranquil retreat located in the scenic hills of Mussoorie, providing a peaceful haven for those who appreciate nature's beauty. The lake is enveloped by verdant landscapes, offering an ideal setting for boating and leisurely walks along its banks. With stunning mountain vistas and a serene atmosphere, it's an idyllic place to unwind and recharge amidst the charm of this destination.
Well established artificial lake. But it looks real. Live water stream is there. Surrounding is filled with lots of activities like boating, water balloon, kids rides, many restaurants
Brijesh R — Google review
It's a man made spot. Good for outdoor chilling Especially the ones with children It's a steep down track and boating per person for 12 mins is 50 rs each UPI payments they won't accept easily So carry cash We can road on the boat and see 2 swans and other ducks The water body could have been kept cleaner Surroundings there are shops for photo , games and eatery
Sooraj K — Google review
Mussoorie Lake is a decent place to stop by if you're already exploring the town, but it didn’t fully meet expectations. The lake itself is small and artificial, surrounded by basic paddle boating options and a few snack stalls. The natural setting around it is nice, offering scenic hills and fresh air, which adds to the charm. However, the lake area feels a bit commercialized. The entry fee is low, but once inside, everything else — boating, snacks, and even photos — adds up quickly. Cleanliness is average; the water wasn’t very clear, and there was some litter around, which was disappointing given how beautiful the area could be. It gets quite crowded, especially on weekends and holidays, which takes away from the peaceful hill-station vibe. Parking can also be tricky. There are some small shops and eateries nearby, and you can get decent views for pictures. But overall, Mussoorie Lake feels more like a quick stop than a proper destination. It’s not a bad experience, especially for families with kids, but with better maintenance and less crowding, it could be a much more enjoyable and memorable spot. ---
Prince G — Google review
This is hardly worth visiting unless you have small kids and would like to go boating. It is an artificial lake, as small as a swimming pool. The approach to the lake is difficult with a steep climb down along large steps. But it is well maintained and there is a trampoline for kids. There are some food stalls and shops around.
Nisha G — Google review
This is an artificial lake featuring a limited range of pool games and several shops nearby. The location does not offer natural scenic views but is considered a decent place for recreational activities.
D K — Google review
Just an artificial lake with exactly 4 swans in it. Adventure sports around. Even the views are not that pleasant and blocked by sporting lines. Though the ticket was Rs. 30 per person only, I found visiting here to be a waste of money and energy. Too many steps to walk down and upwards; very tiring affair. And for what? A man-made pool of water!
Suyash K — Google review
You can enjoy with your little kids for boating. If not crowded time then you will atleast spend 1 hour there. & If rush time then your time will waste.
Chirag G — Google review
Okay spot for kids, but can be skipped Mussoorie Lake is a man-made lake with an entry fee of ₹30. There are quite a few activities for kids, but the place isn’t very special overall. There are a lot of stairs to go down to the lake, so keep that in mind if you’re visiting with elders. Not a must-visit — you can easily skip it if you’re short on time.

Benog Wildlife Sanctuary, located within Rajaji National Park, is a popular tourist destination in Mussoorie. While the sanctuary is home to various rare and common fauna like the Himalayan goat, panther, leopard, deer, and bear, it's particularly known for birdwatching and trekking. The easy trek passes through jungle, mines, valleys, and hills with no shops along the way. Visitors are advised to hire a guide for safety.
This Sanctuary is located in Mussoorie (around 10 km from the main library chowk). Entry fee of 200 is charged to enter the park. Early Morning visits are the best to locate different bird species. Recently, a bird watching festival was organised by the government here. One can trek to the cloud end from this gate which is located around 10 km from entry point.

Entry ticket 200. It is surrounded by the benedictory pines, old cedar trees, and medicinal plants that grow in abundance in this area. The sanctuary has developed as a bird watching haven and is a home to a wide variety of birds. The trek passes through the jungle, mines, valleys and hills. peacefu, quiet and pretty.

Heaven fir natural lovers . It’s a wonderful sanctuary largely untouched by humans. It’s 2.5 km from main road off road track best by bike then car. Entry ticket 200 rupee for Indians , it’s advisable to park your vehicle at entry gate as the path in sanctuary is not conductive for vehicles. Take your own water and food while trekking . Better to take a stick to ward of reptiles and animals . Some resorts are there near its entry gate
Praveen S — Google review
Very nice and peaceful place for trekking. I went there a few months ago. I think it was about 7km long trek to the top. I went in afternoon, so I could not spent much time at the top because had to get back before evening. I would suggest going in the morning so you can spend the whole day here. Bring enough water with you because there are no shops or anything on the way. There is a small temple at the peak.

While some find the prices a bit high due to the logistical challenges of bringing goods to this elevated area, visitors appreciate the clean rooms and washrooms. Nature lovers are drawn to Kasana Club for its serene ambiance and scenic swing.
Scenic view of mountains, lots of local shops with affordable price. You will never want to go back from here. I just love this place and would love to visit once again in future.

One of the busiest and happiest places in Mussoorie. You will find everything related to fun, food and entertainment. Tourists love the place. The evening view is mesmerizing. The best way to feel the vibes by walking.

The mall road is around 1.5 to 2.0 km long and offers many shops and restaurants and hotels. The place is very crowded, especially in the evenings, Food options are very average, and at some places charges are quite high without providing good quality. Mall road is obviously a shopping hub for tourists. It's a nice place to hangout too. Beautiful scenic view. Mall Road is the highlight of Mussoorie. Walking along this vibrant street, we can indulge in local delicacies and shopping.

It was really an awesome experience ...everything was good especially the manager(she removed our hesitation n motivated us all) and the pilot (who provided a thrilling experience)... It was totally worth it.Thank you Cloud end paragliding team ✨!!!
Aman C — Google review
This was one of the worst experience of my life. I have done paragliding more than five times but never got such a bad agency. During my landing, i scratched my hand cuz the pilots were not trained perfectly due to winds the pilot panicked and during landing banged the floor. The promised time was for 3 min but they landed me in 1min. I hope this helped.
Goose B — Google review
Tried to coerce us into upgrading last minute. Claimed 3-5min flight on the ground and reducing it to 1 min on the hill. Wanted us to upgrade claiming the flight is too short. Instructor refused to turn off music completely ruining the peacful valley. Gave us an estimated 30min wait and we ended up waiting for 2 hours. After paragliding, refused to pick us up for another 1.5 hours. The gliding location is good but the staff is unhelpful and genuinely unbothered. Please consider going to any other agency because they really ruined our day.
Kewal G — Google review
Very bad experience with this paragliding agency. To start with they tell you they will fly for 3 minits and when you come up to the site they tell you that now you do second level as level one is very short. I had a very bad landing with injuries to arm leg and neck.At every level they want to extract money. Prior at other places where I had done paragliding it was very safe. Here they justify bad landing saying it is all airflow so there expertise is null. I will give minus rating to these people

K Dev Bhoomi Wax Museum, located in the picturesque Company Garden at Mussoorie, is a charming attraction that showcases around 25 to 26 lifelike wax statues of renowned personalities from India and across the globe. Inspired by Madame Tussauds, this museum offers visitors the chance to admire well-crafted wax figures of iconic figures such as Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Michael Jackson, and more.
Good place but number of Wax statues are very few so Rs.100 for visiting Wax Museum is bit high. Also beware of ticketing staff of wax museum
Ashad I — Google review
Dev Bhumi Wax Museum is a popular tourist attraction located in Mussoorie, near the Company Garden. It features life-size wax statues of famous personalities from India and around the world, similar to Madame Tussauds. Key Highlights: Statues of Celebrities: Includes figures of Bollywood actors, freedom fighters, sports legends, and global icons. Great Photo Opportunity: Visitors can click pictures with their favorite personalities. Location: Near Company Garden, about 3 km from Mall Road, Mussoorie. Entry Fee: Usually ranges between ₹100–₹150 per person (subject to change).
RG S — Google review
I’m not someone who’s deeply into wax museums or a big fan of wax art, but I still expected at least some of that “wait, is that real?” moment people often talk about. Unfortunately, it just never happened. I do appreciate the effort that went into setting up the space and creating the models, but the experience was underwhelming. At ₹100 per person, and with four of us visiting, it honestly felt like a bit of a waste. A lot of the figures didn’t look very realistic. They lacked the detail and finish you’d usually expect. Some of them looked quite fake, which really took away from the overall experience. There was also a strange emphasis on Western pop celebrities. While that’s not necessarily bad, I did expect to see more Indian figures, especially considering the location. A better balance would have made the visit more meaningful and memorable. All in all, it’s a decent attempt, but it just didn’t have the impact or excitement we were hoping for.
Sana — Google review
There were many flowers and plants in the garden and it was clean and green very relaxing. Some plants looked like it was dried out due to negligence or other reasons but overall a very relaxing educational and mood brightening visit
Mario G — Google review
During my visit to the K Dev Bhoomi Wax Museum in Mussoorie's Company Garden, I found it to be a modest yet engaging attraction. The museum houses around 26 wax figures of notable personalities, including Mahatma Gandhi, Swami Vivekananda, and Michael Jackson. While some statues may not perfectly resemble their real-life counterparts, the effort to showcase such a diverse range of figures is commendable. The entry fee is ₹100 per person, which I found reasonable for the experience. The museum is open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, making it a convenient stop during a day at the Company Garden. The staff were courteous and maintained the premises well. Spending about 30 minutes here was sufficient to appreciate the exhibits. Overall, it's a pleasant addition to the Mussoorie itinerary, especially for those interested in art and history.
Akashdeep D — Google review
Taking cues from the world renowned Madame Tussauds Museum in London, Mussoorie has opened its own wax museum that displays lifelike wax figures of famous personalities of India and abroad. The wax museum is another feather in the cap for Queen of Hills Mussoorie which already has many tourist attractions. Even after low-key publicity, K Dev Bhoomi has become one the popular wax museums in India.

Kellogg Memorial Church, a Presbyterian church built in 1903, holds historical significance as it played a role in Britishers learning Hindi to rule over Indians. Named after Dr. Samuel H Kellogg, an American missionary who contributed to the development of Mussoorie, this brownstone edifice showcases stunning Gothic architecture and is located near Kasmanda Palace in Landour, Uttarakhand. The church's beautiful stained glass windows and peaceful surroundings make it a popular tourist attraction in Mussoorie.
Kellogg Memorial Church is a stunning piece of history nestled in the heart of Landour. The neo-Gothic architecture, with its beautiful stained glass windows and pointed arches, is truly captivating. The church holds historical significance as the place where Hindi was first taught to missionaries. Surrounded by towering deodar trees, the church offers a peaceful ambiance, making it a perfect spot for those exploring Landour’s colonial charm. However, visitors should note that the church premises are only open to tourists during the Sunday mass. If you happen to be in Landour on a Sunday, attending the service is a great way to experience the church’s spiritual and architectural beauty up close. A must-visit for history lovers, architecture enthusiasts, and anyone seeking a quiet retreat in the hills!

Natural waterfall at Bhatta Falls. Scenic view. You can enjoy with friends and family having bath and get hot snacks form the adjacent cafes. Set at an elevation of around 2000 meters above sea level, it features diverse altitudinal zones with rare plants, insects, reptiles, animals, trees, birds and mammals.
What a natural experience. It is a nature reserve with various trails you can go hike on. Quite adventurous and fun for nature lovers. Go in a group to make the most of it. You can explore and enjoy the beauty of each trail. You have to buy tickets for entering the reserve as it is privately own property. But a must visit place whenever in Mussoorie for a calm hike.

A B — Google review
Records dating back to the mid-1800s show that the property was originally known as Rockville and acquired by a Dr Wright. During the 1800s, the main purpose of the Estate, like most other forests in the area, was to generate income through the sale of wood for charcoal to meet the needs of the Mussoorie town, the brewery and the cantonment. Until 1887, this cutting and selling of wood seems to have been unabated until the Mussoorie Municipality sent a notice to the Estate Manager asking him to stop the further felling of trees and expressed concern about “large scale tree felling” and “laying the hillside bare”. This appears to be the first attempt at managing the unchecked exploitation of the forest in some way. Dedicated efforts have been taking place since 2015 to transform this sizeable tract of privately owned land into a nature reserve, home to abundant animals, birdlife and wild flowers. While you'll need luck to spot mammals, camera traps have caught leopard, black bear, porcupine and several species of deer. There are hiking trails and specialist guides available Entry tickets cost Rs. 450 per person. Guides are available at Rs.700 per person. It is best to go on a guided tour because the 300 acre reserve is not easy to navigate. Do carry drinking water with you as there is no provision for food or water inside
Vikas S — Google review

I recently read through their reviews, and it's quite concerning to see how poorly they handle feedback. For instance, one customer mentioned that their paragliding session was canceled due to weather conditions, and they didn't receive a timely refund. Instead of offering an apology, the response from the business was dismissive, saying they had booked another slot for the customer the next day. This approach seems unprofessional and lacks the proper customer service attitude required for any business to thrive."

A wonderful and very much essential foundation located close to the clock tower in Landour Bazaar. The women running it are open and informative. Showing a very kind nature of spirit, the owner of the establishment deliberately took time out to explain to us in detail about all the artifacts on display. Another wonderful initiative being endorsed by the MHC is the availability of souvenirs, fair trade gifts and craft items. The majority of items on sale are directly linked to NGO projects in the local area. School improvement funding will also benefit by way of finance raised through the sale of handcrafted cards, jewellery etc. A very worthy cause.

Landour is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. The narrow lanes, old-world charm, and the calm mountain air make it a unique experience. What makes it even more special is the weather after the rain everything feels fresher, the air turns cooler and cleaner, and the views become absolutely stunning. The greenery looks brighter and the skies clearer, making the whole atmosphere magical. Overall, Landour is a perfect getaway to enjoy nature, peace, and breathtaking scenery.

Fresh, delicious, and perfect for a quick snack or souvenir. If you're looking for a serene getaway with great views and tasty treats, Landour is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Mussoorie truly lives up to its name as the Queen of Hills. The cool breeze, breathtaking mountain views, and peaceful vibe make it a perfect escape from city chaos. Mall Road is lively with cafés and shops, while Kempty Falls and Gun Hill offer great experiences. Early mornings and sunsets here are magical, with clouds often floating right around you. It’s ideal for couples, families, or even solo travelers looking for relaxation with a touch of adventure.

Landour is a gem tucked above Mussoorie – calm, charming, and full of old-world vibes. Unlike the crowded bustle of Mussoorie, Landour has narrow winding roads, pine and deodar trees all around, and stunning views of the mountains. The peaceful walks, fresh air, and colonial-era charm make it a perfect getaway to relax and slow down. A must-visit if you’re in Mussoorie and looking for quiet beauty away from the crowds.

Great please has it’s own history, don’t go there on weekend too much rush traffic, prefer bikes and scooty car will make it more difficult for you , yes people take theirs car but i don’t think you should, nice place for people who like peaceful placed and don’t forget to take your raincoat with you 🫶🏻
Komal S — Google review
Lovey hill station. But it’s very tough to reach here because of huge crowds, tough roads and jams. Also it has gotten very commercial, but it’s good for a day tour, and has great views.
Pihu G — Google review
It’s hyped to be honest… but the walk is simple even the elderly people can enjoy the tracks.. sister’s bazaar, chaar dukan, Landour bake house are all super hyped up!! Nothing special about these places except they are very old and owners have pics with some celebrities. Landour Bake house is expensive, I liked choco chick on the mall road more than this…!!

Ikya Fun & Adventure Park is full paisa-vasool. The place has proper adventure vibes – zipline, rope climbing, and a bunch of other cool activities that actually get your adrenaline going. Everything is well-managed, and the staff is chill and helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. The best thing is, it’s not rushed or crowded – you get time to enjoy every activity at your own pace. There are also spots to just sit, relax, and vibe with your friends. Perfect weekend spot if you’re bored of malls and the same old hangouts. Totally worth checking out.

Deepanshu D — Google review
I think it is the best place for children for outings, and for those who are coming to visit Mussoorie, I will advise them to please go to this place. It is just amazing, and I think children will love it. The one thing which I really like is that they have a 1500 rs package for all activities. They have other options also, but I like this option, so that's why I am mentioning it. But of course, there are some activities which are quite difficult for children, but I think the remaining activities are quite enough for your children so I will definitely give you advice, please go to this place. One thing I just want to mention here is that there is an entry ticket of 50 rs for every person who is visiting this
