If you are in the Vendéen area with children this is an amazing and whimsical place to visit. François Delarozière, the creator of the nantais company La Machine, is responsible for these imaginative animals. It is fun for adults too, but with children waiting to use the robots, you might feel silly waiting in line with them.

Well worth a visit, the place has been transformed. It is fantastic, it is a feat of engineering with the exhibits and the water park with the wildlife and fish 🐟 and all in the centre of a city. Also a pleasant place for a coffee. My wife calls it inspiring.

Very peaceful and well maintained, lots of fish in the ponds, some of them huge. Some of the mechanical animals were broken, but the hippo was excellent. Going back later for the Fête de Music.

Attraction was interesting for our young kids, coming up close with various horse breeds and especially the horse and pony rides. Plenty of space to roam and run. We did not come on a day/time with any events so can't comment on that but this venue will create new experiences, particularly for little ones.

This was an amazing find, €5 per adult children free. None of the talks or demonstration were in English, however, we were given an English guide and the staff tried hard to include is where appropriate. The main reason for the 5 🌟 review is the quality of the 3 horse shows, each had a different focus. The first was a circus inspired, using Shetland ponies. The second one was ballet between a rider on horseback and a girl on the ground. The last was spectacular, it defies explanation mixing humour and dance alongside history and drama telling the history of horses in the area.

Lovely place, lot of things to see with the children. Price is really reasonable (you can spend the day and leave the site to go eat outside). Went during summer 2023, and the four horse demonstrations were great. The last one was especially good, a very enjoyable experience with the family

We were very disappointed with the amounts of samples as, with the cost of the items in the shop, we felt they could have afforded a few more tastes. Just had a lovely day here with 3 kids (ages 4, 7 & 8). Middle child has AuDHD. It wasn't very busy and there were loads of quiet and tranquil spaces that could be retreated to of needed. The play area was loads of fun, especially the old games tables. Both adults and all 3 kids had a great time. Food was good and reasonably priced. It's an amazing garden. We'd definitely go again and recommend to others

Quite a bizarre and fun place to visit. Pumpkins hanging in trees, a plant that moves when you sing at it, a type of mint that smells of cola. Great for kids and adults alike.

The potager is amazing and they have some amazing ideas, we learnt a lot of from what they are doing. The campside is nice and clean. Our son loved the swimming facilities. Staff is super friendly. But, even though the website describes it as a calm and relaxing environment, this was not our experience. The evening program and bar are extremely loud, so you can only sleep when this stops. Often this is far after midnight. Meaning that also kids sleep very bad. Certainly not a kids friendly place. I went multiple times to the reception to ask for a solution, but they don't do more than apologize. I didn't have the feeling that they really cared, nor that I was the first one to bring this up. Very nice campsite with great facilities: laguna pool and indoor pool, trampolines, football area, fishing pond etc. It is big but feels small and itimate and everything is well maintained. Staff is very friendly so we had a really great time here!

As we were in a van, even with bicycles it was a bit far from shops/town etc. stayed only one night. Shower and toilet facilities fine, hot water could be hotter. Snack bar prices excessively high for food and drinks.

Very nice, quiet and clean camping!. We loved our stay at the Campilô site in August 2017. We rented a mobilhome "30m2 Confort + Vue plan d'eau" for 2 weeks. The vue at the lake was absolutely lovely, our children loved watching the ducks every morning, and the evening vue was very nice too. My husband and son enjoyed fishing too. The mobile home was small, but very practical, it was well organised, lots of cabinets, we were able to put all our clothes and stuff in it. Well equiped kitchen. Bedrooms were small, but very nice beds, very clean with a disposable matrass-cover. Clean sheets we rented there. During our stay a lock of 1 of the windows was broken, it was fixed very quickly. The mobilhome gets pretty hot when it's hot outside, but it cools down as quickly when you open the windows, just like a tent. The shower was perfect! I couldn't imagine such a practical shower in a small mobil home, lots of hot water! The mobile homes are well placed on the camp site, not too close to each other. We passed by several other camping next to the ocean (wich are double expensive as Campilô) and the mobile homes there are placed right next to each other, a big difference!! The grass and plants and trees on the Campilô campsite are well maintained and give the camping a nice character. Go-carts to rent, very nice mini-golf, pool is perfect on hot or cold days. Washing machine is perfect. Bread in the morning is delicious! We appreciate the fact that the camping pays attention to the environment, and works with suppliers from nearby. The food trucks and animation in the evening were a bit too late for our children (starts at 18h30 or later), but the french children stay up much later apparently. Lots of things to do in the surroundings! Trip to Sable d'Olonne (very nice beach) can be done in 30 minutes. No comments at all.

Nice well kept site with friendly owners and a nice walk round the lake, only problem we found was poor site drainage and after a days rain we had a good inch of water in our awning which soon became mud, everyone had the same problem and the staff put motorhomes on the roads to stop them sinking in the mud. PS also the internet is very slow, if it works at all. Perfect peaceful site in dry weather but avoid in the wet.
