The Stade de France is an impressive 81,000-capacity stadium known for hosting international soccer and rugby matches as well as major concerts. It has been the stage for thrilling sporting events like the FIFA World Cup. Even if you're not attending a game or concert, taking a behind-the-scenes tour of this modern-day coliseum is highly recommended.
One of the greatest sports atmospheres I’ve ever experienced! I was here for the Paris Olympics athletics events, and I absolutely loved it. Even though our seats weren’t the best or closest, we still had a clear view of different parts of the stadium. Multiple screens around the venue showed other events happening simultaneously, which was a great touch. The colors, the organization of so many events at once—it was all incredibly impressive. The stadium itself adds so much to the atmosphere, making an already beautiful event even more special. Truly amazing.
Nida Ö — Google review
Took my two girls to see Stray Kids and was pleasantly surprised by how well organized the venue was. Everything is clearly marked so we knew exactly which entrance to go to. There was no line even thought we were there within the hour of the performance. The staff were very helpful and approachable. I had sent my girls their tickets and had them enter first. And when it was my turn, my ticket kept rejecting. With the staffs help, I realized I was rescanning one of my daughter’s tickets. (Clearly a me issue), but they were very patient. The staff at the stand directed us to our seats and as a mother, I appreciate them standing there all night, ensuring everyone was acting appropriately. When it was time to leave, there were staff out directing everyone where to exit. This was my girls first concert and we had an all around great experience. Will definitely return.

The year is 2023. Quarterfinals of the Rugby World Cup. France vs my home country South Africa. The stadium and check in experience was smooth and pain free. Friendly staff that was helpful. Little to no english speakers but it is to be understood. People was definitely not friendly afterward the final whistle coz we beat them by 1 point to advance to the semifinals. Great location and easily accessible. Would love to go again on the 8th November 2025 but alas I don’t have a ticket.!! To my fellow Saffas traveling! Have fun coz I sure did!!! Magical night!

A grand and seamless experience!!! Attending the Imagine Dragons concert at Stade de France was nothing short of spectacular! The venue’s architecture is a visual masterpiece, and the organization was impeccable; everything ran like clockwork. Even with massive crowds, entering and exiting via the metro was surprisingly smooth, both before and after the event. From the electrifying atmosphere to the flawless logistics, this stadium truly delivers a world-class experience.
Oussama T — Google review
The atmosphere was spectacular and the French crowd was so vocal and supportive of their team. The best stadium I've had the fortune to visit. Alcohol not being sold during a sporting event was definitely a massive improvement over other stadiums.
Wayne C — Google review
It was my first experience of visiting such a large stadium and it was incredible. Linkin Park's concert was great! The toilets and water stands were easy to get to. During the show, security poured water for people in the front rows and there were fans running, so in the intense heat it was comfortable to jump around to your favorite songs.
Aleksandr — Google review
Nice experience. Went to see Beyonce. Clean and efficient entry. Easy to take the metro there and I got a cab back. There are cute places to party after the show around the stadium. 9/10.

What a privilege to be able to watch the South Africa vs France game live. The French were such great sportsmen around us

Flea market
Art dealer
Saint Ouen flea market, also known as Le Marche aux Puces de Saint-Ouen, is a renowned attraction in Paris that draws visitors from around the globe. The market offers a wide array of items, from vintage clothing to quirky modern decor and old home goods. It has become a popular destination for those seeking bargains or simply looking for an enjoyable way to spend their weekend afternoons.
Massive, never ending, full of treasures to dig thru. Lots of antiques, art & just fun to find stuff! Loved all the antique books, stationery & paper goods stands! So fun!
Heather B — Google review
It was my first time visiting, and if I had just wandered around for 30 minutes, I would have been very disappointed and given it a zero-star review. But, as the saying goes, “the more you know, the more you see.” After studying the map and learning about the area, I realised there are real hidden gems – and the market experience can be divided into two parts. First, trusting Google or blog reviews can lead to mistakes. The market isn’t fully open on weekdays, and Saturday is the key day to visit. Although it says it opens at 10am, the antiques and vintage stalls don’t really start setting up until after 11am. This is partly because it takes time for people to walk in from the entrance and reach the main area. Realistically, many stalls don’t fully open until around 11:30am. Also, because most people enter from the nearby tube station, the market’s outer edge and entrance are filled with obvious fake designer clothes, bags, and typical market-style clothing and shoes that could be sold anywhere. The arcade shown in some photos can be found by searching its name on Google Maps – and behind the market, that path is actually a shortcut to where you’ll find the true antiques and vintage items.
Louise L — Google review
Loved the experience! You can find so many things, new, vintage, used and of course prices that don’t include taxes. Just suggest to bring cash and to maybe do your proper research if you like a used item.
Jouddy P — Google review
The Saint-Ouen flea market is ideal for anyone hunting for antiques, vintage treasures, or secondhand luxury items. There’s a wide variety of stalls to explore, each with its own charm. Just a heads-up - keep an eye on your belongings, as pickpocketing can be a risk. Prices tend to be on the higher side, so bargaining might be necessary…
Lovely M — Google review
Lovely to walk through the many small shops and just browse. A bit pricey though. However, to get there from the metro is terrible as you have to walk through lots and lots of cheap fake goods stalls! I really wonder why this is allowed, looks really bad.
Christine B — Google review
The Saint-Ouen Flea Market is a treasure trove for vintage lovers, collectors, and anyone who enjoys browsing unique finds. I visited both Marché Dauphine and Marché Vernaison, and each had its own charm. Marché Dauphine is more structured, with a mix of antiques, vintage fashion, books, and even vinyl records—great for leisurely browsing and discovering gems in a slightly more curated atmosphere. It feels a bit like a gallery in parts. Marché Vernaison, on the other hand, feels more like a maze of hidden treasures. It has a real vintage soul, with smaller stalls packed with everything from mid-century furniture to quirky collectibles. It’s easy to get lost in the best way. Both markets are worth a visit, especially if you’re looking for something truly one-of-a-kind. Just bring comfy shoes, patience, and a curious eye—you never know what you’ll find!
Simon L — Google review
This has the great antiques that Paris is known for. However you have too many vendors selling the fake gym shoes and shirts. Doesn’t make sense to have these two different markets in the same place.
Maria R — Google review
Very charming place. A lot bigger than I expected - markets cover half the block. It is a bit pricey tho, so don't expect a bargain even from the guy with a blanket on the pavement

The Louvre Museum, a former historic palace, is home to an extensive art collection spanning from Roman sculptures to the famous 'Mona Lisa' by da Vinci. The museum's official boutique, Chalcographie du Louvre, offers a variety of high-end gifts and limited-edition artist prints. With its architectural significance and iconic glass pyramid entrance, the museum showcases valuable paintings, sculptures, jewelry, artifacts, and even features a dedicated area for the Museum of Advertising.
Loved it, it is really amazing 😍 we bought the tickets in advance and spent only 30 minutes in a line as it was supposed. We did not have much time but three hours were enough to see what i wanted especially the Louvre Couture ❤️ audio guide appeared quite complicated 🤣 but the security people were very friendly and helpful 💖 If you are going to visit Louvre do not plan anything else on that day simply enjoy with a nice walk in the park or surrounding streets and try local cafe or restaurant...

❤The Louvre is a stunning museum with iconic masterpieces like the Mona Lisa and countless treasures to explore. A must-visit in Paris! However, the crowds can be overwhelming, especially near popular exhibits. Arrive early to enjoy it better. Still, an unforgettable experience!
ADTV A — Google review
The building itself is a piece of art and then you have all the expositions and collections. Just make sure you enjoy art and reserve the whole day for it as it has rooms on end. Particularly fun was seeing the interpretations of period specific dresses by famous design houses.

It was a short time in Paris so I can't book the ticket in advance. And the day I come to the museum close( on Tuesday). You can book the tickets 🎟 from the website. But I had a chance to visit around, it was a very big place. If you want to see all you need to take more days for it. You have to book before you come. If not, you'll have to wait a few hours to buy a ticket. It was a famous place and I guess it was a main museum in Paris. I was going down to get some relax and play some game 🎮 down there. That was a fun and great experience. I might come back to visit the Louvre museum next time. Highly recommended when you visit Paris
Phuc T — Google review
An unforgettable experience! It’s the biggest and one of the most visited museums in the world. The Louvre is truly a treasure trove of world history and art — from the Mona Lisa’s mysterious smile to the grand halls lined with masterpieces. Although the lines are long, it’s absolutely worth the wait. Give yourself plenty of time — you’ll want to get lost in its endless beauty!
Tiffany T — Google review
World's biggest museum so you have to visit it when in Paris. Worth the visit because there are some world class works of art here. Mona Lisa is the most popular art piece in this museum and it will always be crowded to view it. But plenty of signs leading you to exactly where this is located. The queue was not too bad on a Thursday morning. I reserved for 10am and got in around 10:20am. You line up right outside the glass pyramid. There will be signs for the different times you reserved for. Bring a water bottle with water because the museum did not have a single water fountain. I consciously looked for them and did not find any. Or you can buy an expensive bottle of water from their cafeteria. I stayed for 4 hours and looks like prime time was around 1pm. The cafeteria was packed and people were standing to eat.
David — Google review
Totally worth the visit, but be prepared to walk for more than 4 hours if you want to see everything it has to offer. A lot of different cultures, time periods and artifacts. One of the best museums I’ve ever visited! Buy the tickets in advance and be there 10mins before your time slot!
Isidora V — Google review
The greatest museum I have ever seen in Europe. You can see so many different arts. I recommend buying tickets in advance online, otherwise there is a 1-1,5 hour waiting time to entry. Prepare to spend the entire day in the museum. You need about 6-7 hours to see all the museum. You can find coffee shops inside, or bring something to eat with you

Sainte-Chapelle is a 13th-century Gothic chapel in France, known for its ornate design and notable stained-glass windows depicting biblical scenes. Commissioned by King Louis IX to house his collection of Passion Relics, including the Crown of Thorns, it remains a place of spiritual and aesthetic charm. The chapel's Gothic architecture and over 600 square meters of stained glass create a sacred atmosphere that draws visitors from around the world.
I just got back from visiting the Sainte-Chapelle, and I'm still trying to process how breathtaking it was. Honestly, pictures and videos don't do this place justice—it's an experience you have to see for yourself. The first part is the Lower Chapel, which is beautiful with its vaulted ceilings and deep blues, but it's really the Upper Chapel that steals the show. As soon as you walk up the narrow stairs, you are enveloped by light. The walls are almost completely replaced by 15 enormous stained-glass windows towering 50 feet high. It feels less like a building and more like walking inside a giant jewel box. If the sun is shining, the whole room turns into a kaleidoscope of color—you can see centuries of biblical stories painted in vibrant light. It’s an incredibly moving and serene spot, and easily the single most stunning architectural sight I’ve ever seen in Paris. Do yourself a favor and make sure you go on a bright, sunny day if possible!
Kyle J — Google review
• A Gothic masterpiece: Built between 1242 and 1248 by King Louis IX (Saint Louis) to house precious Christian relics — including the Crown of Thorns — Sainte-Chapelle is one of the finest examples of Rayonnant Gothic architecture. • Unforgettable stained glass: The upper chapel features 15 towering stained-glass windows, each over 15 meters tall, illustrating more than 1,100 biblical scenes. When sunlight filters through, the entire space glows in a kaleidoscope of reds, blues, and purples — an experience visitors often describe as “spiritual” or “otherworldly.” • Compact yet awe-inspiring: Unlike sprawling cathedrals, Sainte-Chapelle is intimate. You don’t just see it — you feel it envelop you in color and light. • Central location: Located on the Île de la Cité, next to the Palais de Justice and a few steps from Notre-Dame, it’s easy to combine with other major Paris attractions. • Historical significance: As the private royal chapel of the French kings, it represents both religious devotion and the peak of medieval artistry. ⸻ ⚠️ Things to keep in mind • Crowds and queues: Sainte-Chapelle is small and extremely popular — lines form early, and the chapel can feel packed, especially mid-day. • Security checks: Entry is through the Palais de Justice complex, so airport-style security applies. Arrive early to avoid delays. • Limited visit time: The experience, while stunning, is short — most visitors spend about 30–45 minutes inside. • Lighting conditions vary: The stained glass looks best on sunny days (late morning to mid-afternoon). On cloudy days, colors appear softer and less vivid but still atmospheric. • Lower chapel first: The entrance leads you through the modest lower chapel before you ascend to the breathtaking upper chapel — don’t rush; the contrast enhances the reveal.
Amrit D — Google review
A Breathtaking Masterpiece of Light and Color! Sainte-Chapelle is one of the most stunning sites in Paris — truly a hidden jewel of Gothic architecture. The moment you step inside, you’re surrounded by a dazzling display of stained glass that fills the chapel with radiant light and color. Each panel tells a story from the Bible, creating a sense of awe and serenity unlike anywhere else. The upper chapel is especially mesmerizing, with its towering windows and intricate details that make you feel as if you’re standing inside a jewel box. Don’t let the long line discourage you — it’s absolutely worth the wait. Even after visiting the grand cathedrals of Europe, Sainte-Chapelle stands out as one of the most unforgettable experiences. A must-see in Paris — peaceful, spiritual, and breathtakingly beautiful!
F A — Google review
Visiting Sainte-Chapelle was honestly one of the highlights of my trip to Paris. It’s tucked away on the Île de la Cité, inside the Palais de Justice complex, so from the outside it doesn’t look like much. But the moment you walk upstairs into the main chapel, it’s breathtaking — the entire space glows with color. The chapel was built in the 13th century by King Louis IX, who wanted a special place to keep religious relics, including what was believed to be the Crown of Thorns. Knowing that history makes the place feel even more meaningful. There are two levels inside. The lower chapel is peaceful, with painted arches and golden stars on the ceiling, but it’s the upper chapel that truly amazed me. The walls are almost entirely made of stained glass, and when the sunlight shines through, the whole room is filled with red, blue, and violet light. It’s one of those moments where you just stand still and stare — photos don’t do it justice. I went in the late morning on a sunny day, and the light was perfect. It can get a bit crowded, but the atmosphere is still very calm, almost spiritual. The visit doesn’t take long — maybe 30 to 45 minutes — but it stays with you. If you’re already visiting Notre-Dame or the Conciergerie, it’s just a short walk away and definitely worth it. Sainte-Chapelle isn’t big, but it’s unforgettable.
Przemyslaw K — Google review
I would say it is the most beautiful church I have seen. Starting with a small and less light at the below church which is in vivid blue color, walkinh through a little staircase to go up. Then suddenly we are in a brilliant space, over scale of human height ceiling, and the most magnific is all the mosaic glass which tells the stories of the bibel. Small notes: - You still need to be in the queue even booking the ticket before, 30-45mins. - Sercurity check as air port - the shop gift inside will make you spend money a lot :))) as they have many nice stuffs - Enjoy all the small craving details also
Quỳnh N — Google review
Remarkable array of stained glass windows and a fascinating history. Breathtaking. This chapel is different because it’s no longer a church; it’s operated by the ministry of monuments. The employees couldn’t have been more accommodating. My friend uses a walker and they came up to us and offered to take us upstairs via an elevator. Incredibly kind, courteous staff. I’ve been to Paris multiple times but never visited here before. We went to Notre Dame a couple days ago and it felt stark and commercialized. Sainte-Chapelle offered a more spiritual experience in my opinion!
Donna P — Google review
Sainte-Chapelle in Paris is a breathtaking Gothic masterpiece renowned for its stunning stained-glass windows that fill the chapel with vibrant light. Built in the 13th century, it’s a jewel of medieval architecture and artistry. The intricate details and serene atmosphere make it one of Paris’s most awe-inspiring historic sites.

Most amazing stained glass windows you’ve ever seen!! If you have mobility issues (thank goodness I don’t YET) you would be challenged to come here. There is the most winding, narrow spiral staircase but it is totally worth the climb to see how the King worshipped.

La 3ème Mi-Temps is a classic brasserie with a strong sports theme, adorned with rugby and football memorabilia. It's a popular spot for Stade de France attendees, offering a friendly and relaxed atmosphere across its two floors. The bar features TVs showing pre-game coverage and offers a selection of draught beers. Visitors can enjoy the convivial ambiance while savoring good food and drinks.
A good restaurant near the Stade de France. Food is delicious with a good dessert.

I thought the food, place and service were all great. Because there aren’t many restaurants around. And the service was actually good. Ok. They don’t speak English but communication has no problem. And the waitress is very friendly. If the food is not good I think the food I took before coming to Paris in Amsterdam is erm… I tiramisu is very rich, better than the one I had in Amsterdam.
JooZoo W — Google review
I’ve never in my life had a €15 beer served in a plastic cup. The tartare was honestly awful — way too many pickles and random seasonings. It was sour to the point that it completely ruined the actual flavor. The pizza wasn’t good either. Way too much hype for a place like this. The only justification for the prices, I guess, is the location. I wouldn’t recommend it.
Yana K — Google review
The restaurant it’s pretty beautiful, the food it’s not so good, we ordered a table of copa, the cheese smells and tasted very bad. The food it’s okay but not worth it, the waiter didn’t know how to speak English, normally I don’t care about this because mine it’s okay, we bought a bottle of wine, ordered the entree and then 2 plates, 70 euros, very expensive for the bad experience in my opinion.
Deivison M — Google review
I have to share my experiences as this is my 3rd time and I see nonhappy comments. First this is Paris, expensive. Than: the food is good. Atmosphere I love. First time I had a Hamburger which was not different from a stake tartare, only more tallow (blue). So today I ordered a tartare and it was good. Stuff is professional and my old friend seemed to recognise me... For sure the strong belgian beer helps to feel good. If you have something to do around the Stad de France, pop in.

We were visiting Paris to celebrate my birthday and stayed in the Novotel. Frankly this is the best place to eat when staying there. Service was impeccable, chef is brilliant and everything was delicious with very generous portions. We really enjoyed this restaurant and would highly recommend it. Every dish we had was gorgeous and so was wine.

Came here to watch the semi final of the Rugby World Cup. We sat upstairs in the many empty tables to then be told we weren’t allowed to sit there because the waitress had to go on her break. Then we sat in the seats downstairs to then be told ‘this is only for food’, again despite there being many tables available. The place was quiet so we weren’t taking anyone’s place. The attitude of most staff was absolutely horrendous. If you’re going to run a bar directly opposite a major stadium hosting a major tournament, be prepared for people wanting to come in and get a beer and watch the match. Do not visit this place at all, most staff are really rude. O and a pint of beer costs €12.
Luke C — Google review
The food was so-so, nothing special, typical tourist-international stadion where quality is not put on top. Athmosphere was good, other people on the other tables seemed to have a good time. Plenty seating space. Service was excellent. There was this eldery waiter who worked all-alone on his shift when we were there, he tried his best to catch-up with many different tables and guests, looked tired, yet very friendly, enthusiastic man and energetic.

Parc de la Légion d'Honneur is a beautiful parkland featuring mature trees, play areas, lawns, and pathways. It's known for hosting a stunning tulip festival in April. The park is perfect for picnics and leisurely walks, with ample activities for kids. Visitors can enjoy the serene and green surroundings while taking in the beauty of the garden. Despite varying weather conditions, the park offers a tranquil escape with its clean and well-maintained grounds.
Impressive huge parc/jardin in the Aubervilliers Saint Denis area. I just visited there during their annual Fête des Tulipes! Amazing tulips flowers with fantastic layers and layouts, very beautiful and artistic. So many tenants for F&B, art, pottery, pizzas, burger etc. But my little suggestion is additional toilets since I found so many kids peeing anywhere in secluding areas and it’s because their parents too lazy to bring them to the provided toilets.

The Eiffel Tower, an iconic symbol of Paris and France, was completed in 1889 by Gustave Eiffel. Despite initial plans for its demolition after two years, the tower has endured as one of the city's most popular attractions. With its 18,038 pieces of metal, it offers three floors and options to ascend via stairs or lifts. Visitors can also enjoy restaurants and bars inside. The tower's lighting effects at night are a must-see.
A Magical Day at the Eiffel Tower I visited the Eiffel Tower today and it absolutely lived up to the hype. From the moment I stepped onto the Champ de Mars, the Iron Lady’s latticework felt both grand and surprisingly graceful. The views from the top are breathtaking—Paris stretches out in every direction like a living postcard, with the Seine curving through the city and landmarks popping up everywhere you look. The experience felt smooth and well-organized. Staff were friendly, and even with the crowds, the lines moved faster than I expected. I loved taking my time on each level—there’s something special about pausing with a coffee and just soaking in the panorama. As evening fell, the tower’s sparkle made the whole scene feel downright romantic and cinematic. If you’re planning a visit, I’d recommend booking tickets ahead of time and going a bit before sunset so you catch daylight, golden hour, and the first twinkle after dark. Whether you take the elevator or brave the stairs, the journey itself is part of the fun. All in all, today’s visit was unforgettable. The Eiffel Tower isn’t just a must-see—it’s a must-feel. Five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Aryan P — Google review
• No ticket needed: You don’t have to buy a ticket to enter the tower or queue for elevators—just pick a great external vantage and you’re free to shoot at your own pace. • Excellent photo spots nearby: Many well-documented locations give iconic Tower views from outside—e.g., Rue de l’Université, Rue de Buenos‑Aires, Avenue de Camoëns. These spots are highlighted in photographer guides as “hidden” or less-crowded alternatives. • Flexible timing: Because you’re not tied to a ticket time, you can go early morning, late evening, or at twilight to capture different lighting and mood. • Lower cost: Skipping entrance means saving time and money, and focusing instead on the view and atmosphere. • Great for casual or photographic visits: If your priority is the Tower in your photo, rather than ascending it, this approach works perfectly. ⸻ ⚠️ What to keep in mind • You miss the “inside” experience: You won’t go up into the tower, see its internal architecture, or get panoramic views from heights—it’s purely an “outside vantage” experience. • Crowds/lines possible at popular spots: Even external photo spots can be crowded (especially the very popular ones like Trocadéro or Rue de l’Université). Some guides warn of “many people” even at street viewpoints. • Lighting & viewpoint selection matter: Good photos depend heavily on time of day, weather, background composition (street, river, buildings). If you go at the wrong time you may get harsh light or less dramatic angle. • Expect standard viewpoint, not “secret”: Many external spots now appear in photo-spot guides and social media; so while you’re not entering the tower, you might share the view with others. • Still some cost/time: If you go out for the trip, you’ll still invest time (walking, transport) to reach a good baseline vantage.

Well, if one is in Paris it’s hard not to visit. Queues can be long so best to get there early and be prepared to wait for a while. Tickets are not expensive. Splendid views from the top, of course, particularly on clear days. Overall well worth a visit if one is there. Fun for all the family although small children may get bored by the wait and be less than impressed.

🇫🇷 An Essential Paris Experience: Unforgettable Views and History! Visiting the Eiffel Tower was a highlight of our trip to Paris. Even on a cloudy day, the structure itself is breathtaking from the base. The sheer scale and engineering are incredible, making it a truly iconic landmark. The Experience: We took the time to go up to one of the platforms, which I highly recommend. The views of Paris are spectacular, giving you a completely different perspective of the city. Being inside the lattice work of the tower itself is an experience. I especially appreciated the historical information available on the different levels, detailing its construction and use for early radio transmissions. It adds so much context to this magnificent monument. Tips for Visitors: Book Tickets in Advance: Lines can be very long, so pre-booking is essential to save time. Allow Plenty of Time: There are security checks, queues for the lifts, and plenty of things to see once you're up there, so don't rush the experience. Photo Ops: The viewing platforms offer incredible spots for family photos, framed by the beautiful ironwork and the city below. Overall, the Eiffel Tower is a must-see landmark that lives up to its reputation. Highly recommended for all visitors to Paris!

We walked up the stairs to the second floor which was a right mission... but so worth it the views as you walk up are brilliant. Had a refreshment stop before heading to the top via the elevator. Stunning views of the city on a very clear fine day...

It's just a miracle. The best place I've ever seen. I recommend it to absolutely everyone. The spirit is breathtaking. And in the evening it's even better because it shimmers. I recommend climbing the tower, the views are beautiful.

Beautiful structure no matter which angle you take the photo from whether it's day time or night time. There's a small museum on top of the tower. Amazing views of the surrounding areas around Eiffel Tower. It's good if you take the skip the line ticket as you can go up without queueing.
Noorzidah N — Google review
Proud to have actually been there to see it. Incredible fascinating structure. Great view, if one manages to go up for a look-see. Naturally, a ticket needs to be bought as per one's time slot. The Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris, dating back to the 12th century, stands as a magnificent example of Gothic architecture along the Seine River. This iconic landmark, made famous by Victor Hugo's novel 'The Hunchback of Notre-Dame,' suffered a devastating fire in April 2019. Despite this setback, efforts are underway to restore and reopen the cathedral by April 2024.
Visiting the newly reopened Notre-Dame Cathedral was a dream come true! On this sunny Monday, I joined a well-organized queue that took about 20 minutes—well worth the wait (no need to buy tickets). The staff ensured a respectful atmosphere, requiring gentlemen to remove hats, dress neatly, and maintain silence, which added to the sacred ambiance. Inside, the cathedral is nothing short of breathtaking. The restored beauty of the soaring arches, intricate stained glass, and serene orderliness left me in awe. Every detail radiates history, artistry, and spiritual grandeur. The experience was profoundly moving, evoking a deep sense of reverence and wonder. Notre-Dame is a true masterpiece, and I’m already looking forward to returning to bask in its timeless magnificence. Highly recommend this unforgettable visit to anyone!

Notre-Dame absolutely took my breath away! The cathedral is even more beautiful in person than in pictures — the details on the outside are incredible, and the stained glass inside is just magical. You can really feel the history in every corner. What’s amazing is that it’s completely free to enter the main cathedral! You can just walk in, take your time, and enjoy the atmosphere. It’s such a peaceful, awe-inspiring place right in the middle of Paris. Even though parts are still being restored, it’s 100% worth visiting. Don’t miss it — it’s one of those spots that truly captures the spirit of Paris!

An absolute must see when visiting Paris. If you’re able to climb up the towers, I highly recommend it. We were able to get a ticket for 6 PM and made it to the top right around 7 PM in time for sunset. It is over 400 steps of a spiral staircase, but totally worth the view. As for the cathedral highly recommend booking your tickets two days in advance so you don’t have to wait in the extremely line long line. But if you do wait in the line, it does move pretty fast. The cathedral has been restored beautifully. It was such an amazing thing to see.

What a breathtaking building! It’s truly stunning, from both close up and at a distance. Whether in the day time or night-time. Although the rear is not finished with the rebuild following the fire it’s still brilliant. The detailing on the front facade is gorgeous. It’s free to enter the main cathedral but the queues are SO long that you’ll need to decide whether the time spent queuing and missing all the other amazing sites of Paris is worth it for you personally. You really have to see it in person to truly appreciate all the intricacies.

An Absolute Must-Visit - Top 3 in Paris! Visiting Notre Dame was a truly moving experience, and it's easily in our top 3 must-visit sites in Paris. The history of this building is just breathtaking. We used a tour guide, which was a great decision as they brought the cathedral to life with amazing stories about its design, architecture, and its famous association with "The Hunchback of Notre-Dame." Learning about the historical artifacts that are housed inside, like the legendary Crown of Thorns, was incredible. Seeing it standing so resiliently after the tragic fire is a powerful reminder of its importance to Paris and the world. Even with the ongoing restoration, the spirit and grandeur of this iconic cathedral are undeniable. You simply cannot miss it.

Notre-Dame de Paris is nothing short of breathtaking. The cathedral stands as a powerful symbol of history, culture, and timeless beauty. The Gothic architecture is stunning from every angle — the intricate stone carvings, towering spires, and iconic rose windows are even more impressive in person. Walking around the cathedral, you feel the weight of centuries of craftsmanship and devotion. Despite the crowds, the atmosphere still manages to be peaceful and awe-inspiring. It’s easy to see why this place has touched so many people for so many years. The surrounding area on Île de la Cité adds to the charm, with lovely views of the Seine and plenty of quiet corners to take in the scenery. Whether you’re interested in history, architecture, or just want a moment of reflection in the heart of Paris — Notre-Dame is absolutely worth the visit.
Violina P — Google review
Notre dame was absolutely beautiful and stunning on the outside. As a UK tourist, it looked so grand and magnificent in person like a historic piece of artwork where years of hardwork building and sculpting had gone into it. The wait outside wasn't too long and the queue was organised. However, I felt the inside of the cathedral needed a bit more work and improvement with some of the displays, it didn't seem to captivate me as much inside as the outside. Also the historic art virgin and child statue was moved outside suddenly on a pole and that concerned me with the weather outside causing more wear and tear. But overall it was a great attraction to visit.

Very cool seeing this beautiful cathedral. I recommend. Is quite crowded but go early in the morning perhaps or on weekdays and off season to get the most of your experience. Very neat. We didn't go in, just saw from outside as we felt that was enough, also huge cues.

Housed in a former railway station, the Musée d'Orsay in Paris is renowned for its major 19th- and 20th-century European art collections. The building was originally constructed as a central terminus station on the site of the ruined Palais d'Orsay and was designed by architect Victor Laloux.
I'm using Paris Museum Pass, just join the line via Entrance C. This is one of the coolest art museums in Paris, it’s a must-visit if you’re Van Gogh's fan or simply into art. What makes it really special is that the building itself used to be a huge train station, it was the Gare d’Orsay, built around the early 1900s. Instead of tearing it down, they turned it into a museum, which means you get this amazing mix of old industrial architecture and art all in one place. Inside, the museum is packed with incredible artworks, mostly from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. You’ll find tons of famous Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings here, artists like Monet, Degas, Renoir, Van Gogh, and Cézanne. If you love those bright, colorful paintings or want to get a feel for the art that changed the world, this is the spot. Besides paintings, the museum also has sculptures, decorative arts, and photography. It’s pretty manageable in size, so you don’t get overwhelmed like in some bigger museums. The museum sits right on the left bank of the Seine, close to the Louvre and the charming Saint-Germain area. So, it’s easy to fit it into a day of exploring Paris. It's recommended to visit here. :)

A wonderful collection of art from the time of the invent of the camera forward. The Orsay Museum houses some of the world's most treasured art pieces. From Monet, Gauguin, Manet, Renoior to Van Gogh and so many more. Paintings and sculptures abound in the former train station. A half-day should be the minimum amount of time spent in the great halls of the Orsay. My last visit we elected to use a self-guided audio tour and enjoyed every step. The Dance at the Moulin De La Galette by Renoir is my current favorite. Degas' multi-texture sculpture Petite danseuse de quatorze ans is another favorite. The Orsay is along the Seine near many other stops that I like to make when in the area. Stroll along the river and take in the magazine stands and vendors. Maybe a river tour starting from Pont Neuf. With a little time left in your day the Luxembourg Gardens and the Shakespeare and Co Bookstore are easy additions to your afternoon trek. While I might prefer the Louvre or the Vatican overall as a museum...the Orsay has so many great works of art it should be included on your itinerary. Definitely, something for everyone on this side of the Seine.

I absolutely loved the Musée d’Orsay in every way. I'm still processing the incredible experience— the art, its history, and the vibrant energy that fills the space. The Arc de Triomphe is an iconic triumphal arch located in the 8th arrondissement district of Paris. It was constructed between 1806 and 1836 to honor Napoleon's military victories during the first French Empire. The monument stands at 164 feet tall and 148 feet wide, adorned with intricate designs on its four arches.
Visiting the Arc de Triomphe for the first time was truly amazing. Standing beneath this monumental arch, I could really feel the weight of history and the beauty of its design. Every carving and detail tells a story, and being there in person made me appreciate it so much more than just seeing it in pictures. Climbing the 284 steps to the top was a challenge, but absolutely worth it—the view of Paris stretched out in every direction, with the Eiffel Tower standing tall and the Champs-Élysées looking endless. The view was breathtaking and made the whole experience unforgettable. It’s one of those places that captures the magic of Paris in a single moment.

【Quick Summary】A spectacular view of Paris at night! The illuminated Arc de Triomphe and the sparkling Eiffel Tower view from the top are absolutely breathtaking. 【Purpose of Visit】Perfect for an evening visit, especially for night view appreciation, right after checking in on your arrival day. ✅ Experience (Highlights) After a flight from Tokyo, we checked into the hotel around 4 PM and headed straight to the iconic Arc de Triomphe. * ✅ The View from the Arc: While the illuminated Arc de Triomphe itself is grand and full of charm, **the Eiffel Tower's sparkle illumination (Champagne Flash) seen clearly from the top of the Arc is truly unmissable.** * By visiting during the transition from dusk to night, we enjoyed a complete panorama: the grandeur of the Arc, the lights along the Champs-Élysées, and the dazzling sparkle of the Eiffel Tower. * ✅ Final Impression: I believe everyone who witnesses this view will fall in love with Paris. It was a magical moment—the highlight of a perfect Parisian evening.

An iconic monument that beautifully captures the spirit and history of France! 🇫🇷 The Arc de Triomphe, commissioned by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1806, honors those who fought and died for France during the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. The intricate carvings and sculptures are stunning, and the eternal flame beneath it pays tribute to the Unknown Soldier — a deeply moving sight. The view from the top is absolutely breathtaking, offering a perfect 360° view of Paris and the Champs-Élysées. Visit around sunset to see the city glow and the Eiffel Tower sparkle — truly unforgettable! ✨
Ashmeet S — Google review
The Arc de Triomphe is one of Paris’s most iconic monuments — bold, majestic, and deeply symbolic. Standing at the top of the Champs-Élysées, it commands attention from every angle, perfectly aligned with the avenue and the city’s twelve radiating boulevards. Built on the orders of Napoleon I to honor the French armies, the arch carries incredible detail — from sculpted victories to engraved names of generals and battles. Seeing it up close, you realize how massive it really is, far larger and more imposing than photos suggest. I visited recently, and the experience was unforgettable. The monument stands proudly at the Place Charles de Gaulle, surrounded by a never-ending swirl of traffic, yet it somehow feels peaceful once you step onto the pedestrian walkway beneath it. You can climb to the top terrace (about 280 steps), and the view is absolutely worth it — the Eiffel Tower, La Défense, and the Champs-Élysées stretch out in perfect symmetry. If you time it around sunset, Paris glows golden, and the city truly feels eternal. “A symbol of victory, memory, and beauty — standing atop the Arc de Triomphe feels like standing at the heart of Paris itself.”
Amrit D — Google review
What's not to love. It's an incredible landmark and more beautiful than I imagined. Make sure to take pictures not just close up but farther away as well. If you are trying to figure out where to stay, I would recommend staying near the arc instead of near the Eiffel Tower.
Jackie — Google review
I visited the observatory in spring, summer, autumn and winter because the colours around the Arc de Triomphe change with each season, and they are beautiful. The view is also different by day and by night; while the Eiffel Tower offers a lovely panorama, the Champs-Élysées seen from here, especially at night, is even more striking and well worth the climb. Most people do not take the lift but climb the very narrow circular stone staircase, so those with mobility issues or the elderly should use the lift instead. Tickets must be purchased in advance for your preferred time slot on the official website. The staff at the ticket desk are very friendly, so if you need assistance, simply queue and they will be glad to help.

One of the most iconic and must-visit landmarks in Paris, located near Charles de Gaulle–Étoile station. From this point, twelve grand avenues radiate outward, with the world-famous Champs-Élysées being one of them, leading all the way to Place de la Concorde. The area is rich in history and architectural beauty, offering stunning views and plenty of photo opportunities. It’s a wonderful place to take a leisurely walk, enjoy the lively Parisian atmosphere, and admire the surrounding cafés, shops, and monuments. A visit here is truly a classic Paris experience!

Just visited the iconic Arc de Triomphe in Paris and I'm still pinching myself! This monumental arch was commissioned by Napoleon in 1806 to honor his Grande Armée and was finally completed in 1836. The monument's sheer grandeur and historical significance left me in awe. The views from the top are breathtaking, with the City of Light stretching out in every direction. The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the eternal flame add a poignant touch to this symbol of French national pride. A must-visit for anyone traveling to Paris!

A truly unforgettable experience! This is a very elegant place where you can fully enjoy the stunning architecture and timeless charm of the Opera Garnier. Every detail, from the grand staircases to the intricate frescoes and gilded decorations, showcases the history and artistry of this iconic Paris landmark. The atmosphere is simply magical, making you feel like you’ve stepped into a masterpiece. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates beauty, culture, and a touch of luxury.

I visited the Opéra Garnier in Paris because I have visited city many times before but never this opera house. It was a very interesting and beautiful place to see. The building looks large and detailed from the outside, and the inside is clean, bright, and carefully kept. I took the self-guided tour, and the ticket cost €15 for one adult. Buying the ticket online was simple, and there was no long wait when I arrived in the morning. The audio guide explained the history of the opera house in a clear way. The Opéra Garnier was ordered by Emperor Napoleon III and designed by Charles Garnier, a young architect who won a competition in 1861. The construction started that same year and took fourteen years to finish. It opened in 1875 and became the main home for opera and ballet in Paris. Today, it is mostly used for ballet, while most opera shows are held at the newer Opéra Bastille. Inside, there are large marble stairs, gold decorations, and many paintings. The main hall is wide and bright, and the theatre has red seats and a big chandelier hanging from the ceiling. The ceiling painting by Marc Chagall was added in 1964 and gives a nice mix of old and new art. I spent about one and a half hours walking around. It was quite crowded, but I could take my time to look at everything. I think the visit was worth the price, I learned a lot about French history and saw a very important part of Paris’s culture. I would suggest visiting it if you are interested in art, history, or nice buildings.

Beautiful church up on the top of hill. Don't try to walk it but take an Uber instead. Once you get up there you will not be disappointed with the view of the whole city. Walking down is OK and probably 500 steps. Close by the church (1/4 mile) is the Lugdum museum which is also worth while visiting. Has an old roman style open theatre.

This is a place everyone must see when visiting Paris. The building is amazing! Fans of Phantom of the Opera will be delighted to see where it all happens! Unfortunately, they don’t allow you to go underneath the place. Don’t miss the Marc Chagall painting on the ceiling of the theater.

The Palais Garnier completely exceeded my expectations, it felt like stepping into a fairytale. The architecture, the gold details, the chandeliers, and that grand staircase are absolutely breathtaking. Even though the Opera Hall was closed for rehearsals during my visit, the rest of the palace was so stunning that it didn’t matter at all. Every corner is a piece of art, and it’s one of those places where you just have to stop and admire the beauty around you. Highly recommend taking your time to walk through the Grand Foyer and the main staircase, it’s pure magic ✨

Very fancy place. Many good photo spots. I would definitely recommend if you were looking for a place to spend about 2 hours in the city area. Tmit's not included in the Paris Museum Pass so it cost me some extra money, but it was worth the visit. I wouldn't recommend if you were looking for a place to soend the while day because the size of it is not massive like other big museums. And I recommend to make a booking in advance. Otherwise you have to wait long hours or even cannot come in eventually.

Beautiful and grand! An absolute must-see in Paris. The architecture is stunning, from the marble staircases to the gilded ceilings and chandeliers. Even if you don’t attend a show, being there feels like stepping into another era. You do need tickets to visit the palace.

We did the Guided Mysteries of the Palais Garnier Tour at 5pm. The theater closes its doors and made the after hours experience even more alluring. They offer several different guided tours and immersive experiences at the Palais Garnier that focus on the building's history and architecture. Our tour highlighted the mysteries surrounding the building's construction and the "Phantom" legend, and sat in the Phantom's box. Marc Chagall painted the ceiling of the Paris Opera House(Palais Garnier). The finished mural, covering nearly 2,400 square, the spectacular masterpiece is breath taking. One of the most beautiful places to experience.

Nestled in the heart of the Tuileries Gardens, Musee de l'Orangerie is a museum renowned for its impressive collection of 20th-century European art. Originally an orangery for the Tuileries Palace, it now houses iconic works including Claude Monet's famous Water Lilies series.
• The building itself is beautifully situated in the heart of Paris, at the southwest corner of the Jardin des Tuileries, near Place de la Concorde, which gives it a serene and convenient location. • One of the major draws: the museum is the permanent home of eight large murals by Claude Monet titled Les Nymphéas (Water Lilies). These works are considered masterpieces and they’re displayed in a specially designed series of oval rooms — an immersive experience. • The museum also holds a rich collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art, with works by Henri Matisse, Paul Cézanne, Pablo Picasso, and others. • Because it is somewhat smaller and quieter than some of the giant Paris museums (like the Louvre Museum or Musée d’Orsay), it often offers a more relaxed pace. Visitors praise it as a restful, high-quality stop. ⸻ ⚠️ Things to watch / considerations • While the museum is excellent, the overall size is modest compared to huge institutions; if your goal is a full-day art immersion with many wings and vast collections, you might find it less extensive. Some visitors say: “Very nice … but doesn’t compare to the giants.” • Because of its popularity (especially the Monet rooms), the museum can get crowded in those key galleries at peak times. To have the best experience, timing helps. • The museum is closed on Tuesdays. Typical opening hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with last admission around 5:15 p.m. • Some signage and labels may be more detailed in French than in English, meaning that visitors who read only English might wish to arrange for an audio guide or download a guide ahead.

What a wonderful museum to explore !! More of a relaxing experience to be sure. Not as hectic or as busy as The Louvre. You really get to enjoy the displays more than you would at other museums. You Definitely do not feel the pressure to keep moving like other locations. Many Renoir’s to view as well as Picasso’s, Gaugain’s and many Monet’s. The 8 water lily’s mural collection is amazing !! I would highly recommend the Musee de l’Orangerie as a must see while in Paris. So many beautiful works to view and enjoy. Paul and Andrea Canada 🇨🇦

Easily one of the best small museums to visit. It’s just as crowded as the others, but much smaller so not as overwhelming. They famously house Monet’s Waterlillies in multiple rooms. It is truly breathtaking. It would be more enjoyable if people weren’t right in front of it taking multiple videos as if they were making tiktoks. Multiple members of the staff had to shush them as they got too noisy. There are a ton of other great pieces here. I saw so many notable pieces. I think I walked each area a couple of times. It’s a pretty small space. I highly recommend making a day of it and hanging at this area alone. The museum is at the corner of the Tuileries Garden. On the opposite side is the Louvre. You can dedicate a whole day just in this corner alone. On a good day you can chill by the fountain and watch the ducks swim by. It doesn’t hurt that the metro stop is just steps away.

Loved seeing Monet’s Water Lilies — they’re absolutely breathtaking in person and beautifully displayed in the oval rooms. The colors and light feel alive. That said, it was quite crowded, and not everyone was being as quiet as you’d hope in such a peaceful space. Still, definitely worth visiting for Monet’s masterpiece.

A great museum with a variety of contemporary paintings and other exhibits as well as the crown jewel, the Monet Lillies huge paintings! It was an easy museum to enter and roam around. I was surprised by the range of exhibits which were very interesting to see and learn about. The Monet Lillies were of course majestic and there was enough space for people to sit on the couches in the middle of the room to rest. The only downside was that the cafeteria was under renovation and could not have a snack break. I would visit this museum again to see their interesting exhibitions as well as try their cafeteria space!

I will definitely be back. What a beautiful experience to see some of the most classic pieces of art. Make sure you get tickets in advance or plan to wait anywhere from 15-30 minutes. I was lucky to get in around 5pm on a Sunday (it closes at 6pm) I had enough time to browse and take it all in. Very small & quick experience.

I loved this museum. The huge Monet waterlilies were meditative. The rest of the museum had a great permanent collection and a show by Berthe Weille, Parisian female art dealer. There were noteworthy pieces in the show and it was a very interesting approach for curation. Be prepared to wait wait in a line outside. It is a great museum.

Pont Alexandre III is a late 19th-century arched bridge in Paris, known for its ornate Beaux Arts style. It is considered the most beautiful bridge in the city and offers a great spot to watch the sunset. Classified as a National Historic monument, it features intricate details such as gilt-gold statues of Fames, art nouveau lamps, and golden foliate designs.
Beautiful bridge with nice views, where you can take great photos. The bridge has some statues very well constructed, from baroque style. I recommend you to visit this bridge if you are at Paris.
Juan S — Google review
Walking across the Pont Alexandre III is an experience that feels less like crossing a river and more like strolling through a piece of art. This is, without a doubt, the most beautiful bridge in Paris. The sheer opulence is staggering—from the detailed bronze sculptures of nymphs and cherubs to the magnificent, gold-gilded statues atop the four massive pillars. Every detail is a photo opportunity. It connects the Grand Palais and Petit Palais on one side to Les Invalides on the other, meaning the views in both directions are spectacular. It offers an unmissable vista of the Eiffel Tower, making it a perfect spot for sunset. It’s less of a utilitarian crossing and more of an essential Parisian landmark to savor slowly.

One of those Parisian icons you just can’t miss. Paris in a crazy sense is a frustrating city because every time you turn your head, you see something more beautiful than next thing. But then all of that is dominated by the Eiffel Tower. But this bridge is a close rival. Every time we cross it, we see something new.

One of the most beautiful bridges in Paris — richly decorated with golden statues, ornate lamps, and breathtaking views of the Seine, the Eiffel Tower, and Les Invalides. Both by day and at night, it’s a magical place for a stroll and perfect for photos. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — A must-see Paris landmark full of charm and elegance.

This bridge is pure theatre. Built for the 1900 Exposition Universelle, it is decorated with gold statues, ornate lamps, and sculptures that look like opera props. It is also one of the best views of the Eiffel Tower in the entire city. The contrast of the gold details against the blue-grey Seine is breathtaking. If you go for photos, go during golden hour or at night when everything is lit up. Stunning spot.

The Pont Alexandre III is one of the most beautiful and elegant bridges in Paris. Its stunning architecture, golden statues, and detailed lamps make it a true masterpiece—especially magical at sunset or when lit up at night. It also offers amazing views of the Seine, the Eiffel Tower, and Les Invalides. A must-see spot for a stroll or photos during your visit to Paris.
Mr. F — Google review
Pont Alexandre III is actually quite far from the Eiffel Tower, and if the sun is on the opposite side, your photos will look grey and flat. For me, it wasn’t the best spot for Eiffel Tower pictures. The bridge itself is beautiful though — especially the chocolate-colored railings, which are really elegant. But as a photo spot with the Eiffel Tower, it’s not as impressive as people expect.

Military Museums
The Army Museum, also known as Musee de l'Armee, is a prominent military history museum located in the grand Hotel National des Invalides in Paris. Established in 1905, it showcases an extensive collection of weapons and uniforms from various French military conflicts. The museum's vast complex spans 8,000 square meters and includes two church extensions. One of its most famous attractions is Napoleon's gilded tomb housed within the Invalides.
The Army Museum of Paris, located at the Hôtel des Invalides, offers a fascinating dive into the history of the French army. With an impressive collection of ship models, uniforms, weapons, and historical artifacts, it highlights key battles and the technological evolution of naval warfare. The space is spacious and well-organized, though a bit dense for those not particularly interested in military history. However, the grandeur of the building and its connection to Napoleon make the visit a must. It's ideal for those looking to learn more about France's naval legacy. In addition to its exhibits, the museum houses Napoleon’s tomb, located in the nearby Dome Church. This majestic, imposing site is a tribute to the French emperor, whose influence on both military and French history is profound and lasting. Its design make visitors to look the tomb from the top as a sign of reverence to Napoleon. It also has other tombs from important military characters from the Napoleonic wars.

It’s an huge military and defense museum which requires hours to walk around and study each piece. The tickets allow you access to the chapel and toms too. The academy (current museums) has four sides. Each side has four levels. So plan your time if you desire to see all pieces.

One of my favorite museums I've ever visited. The Hôtel des Invalides is absolutely amazing, full of history and incredible exhibits. It actually took us two full days to walk through the whole place, and every part was worth it. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Paris - such a great and unforgettable experience.

Amazing experience. I have been to Paris multiple times in the past but have never been here until today. Displays are modern and well presented. The physical size and scope covered is both impressive and exhausting. All French wars from the last 500+ years are covered in excellent detail showing uniforms, weapons and armor. If this is your thing, it’s amazing. Quite confident I will return on a future visit to Paris. I was here on a Friday mid morning and traffic was very light. Highly recommend!

If you're a history buff, this is the place for you. There are exhibits consisting of weaponry, uniforms and armour that covers the period of World War Two all the way back to the Middle Ages. If you want to examine EVERY detail you will HAVE to spend a few hours here! It is a must for military history enthusiasts! It is one of the best military collections in the world and it is located next to Napoleon's tomb. I have never seen a larger collection of suits of armour anywhere.
Dan T — Google review
Hands down the best museum in Paris! Lots to see and, aside from Napoleon's tomb, the museum was not at all packed. They also have a free audio guide app you can download. We went to this museum twice and spent around 8 hours across 2 days in total.

Les Invalides is a place where French history breathes through every corridor and courtyard. Originally founded by Louis XIV as a home for wounded soldiers, the complex now unites museums, monuments, and one of the most striking domes in Europe. Beneath it, in the Dôme des Invalides, rests a chapter of history that shaped a continent — including the monumental tomb of Napoleon Bonaparte, honoring not only the man but the era he helped forge. The Musée de l’Armée offers a rich journey through centuries of military history: armor, weapons, regalia, artworks, and personal stories that bring the past to life. The grounds are expansive, beautifully maintained, and perfect for lovers of architecture, history, and unhurried wandering. A visit to Les Invalides is an experience where silence, beauty, and power meet. It is a place where the past not only speaks but teaches — with dignity, without judgment, and with a deep respect for those who shaped its story. If you love history, Les Invalides is a place you simply cannot miss. 🇫🇷✨

The Place des Vosges is the oldest planned square in Paris, dating back to 1612. Located in the fashionable Marais district, it features a central green area with fountains and is surrounded by red-brick mansion houses. Once home to royals at the Hotel des Tournelles, it now boasts high-end boutiques, galleries, and top-rated restaurants. Nearby accommodations offer stylish interiors and a tranquil private patio.

Place des Vosges is an absolute must-visit. Seriously, it's my favorite park of all time! It might be small, but it's incredibly charming and instantly transports you to a quieter time. It's especially stunning during the late summer and autumn when the leaves start turning those incredible shades of gold, red, and brown—the photo ops here are just unreal! Be prepared for it to get super busy when the weather is nice, but trust me, it’s worth navigating the crowds. It's perfect for a quick, peaceful stroll or, even better, planning a full picnic lunch on the lawn. And the best part is you’re surrounded by amazing local finds! There are tons of cafés, restaurants, chic boutiques, and brilliant boulangeries just steps away. Grabbing a fresh baguette, some cheese, and a pastry to enjoy right in the park is essential. Plus, there are so many fascinating things to see and do in the immediate area.

A quaint spot to play, meditate, exercise, or browse nearby boutiques. Shaded by neatly trimmed platanes and tilleuls, the park offers cool refuge under their canopies. Under the colonnades, you’ll find art, quirky shops, and bars. Come early to catch a quieter mood, a few sleepers and early risers shifting about. By 9, the tourists begin to arrive. Nearby, the Victor Hugo House museum adds a touch of history.

Place de la Concorde is one of the most beautiful and historic spots in Paris. The view is breathtaking — especially at sunset when you can see the Eiffel Tower, the Champs-Élysées, and the Tuileries Gardens all from one place. The architecture and the atmosphere make you feel the grandeur of Paris. It can get crowded, but it’s absolutely worth the visit.

Place de la Concorde is great for selfies, but there’s not much to do if you stay longer. Busy streets all around, so it’s not exactly the best spot for breathing exercises — or even for kisses. You’ll find much healthier places just a short walk away by the Seine!

A fantastic gift from Egypt 🇪🇬 to France 🇫🇷, the Luxor Obelisk is the oldest monument in Paris (over 3,000 years old!). It stands on the former Place de la Révolution, where Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette were beheaded. Thanks to Champollion, its hieroglyphs were finally deciphered!

When you first arrive, the scale of the square hits you. It’s the largest square in Paris, and you immediately feel that openness compared to the narrow cobblestone streets that surround much of the city. Standing there, you get a sense of being in the middle of something grand, with wide views stretching out in every direction. • To the west, your eyes follow the iconic Champs-Élysées, leading your gaze straight toward the Arc de Triomphe. • To the east, the pathway points toward the Tuileries Garden and the Louvre, which are only a short walk away. • To the north, you see the elegant façades of the Hôtel de Crillon and the French Naval Ministry. • To the south, the River Seine glimmers, with the Eiffel Tower peeking out in the distance if you angle your view just right. It’s like standing at a crossroads of Paris — everything seems connected from this central point.

The Basilica Cathedral of Saint Denis is an impressive Gothic cathedral known for its intricate 12th-century stained-glass windows and numerous reclining statues. It serves as the burial place for most of the Kings of France, making it a significant historical site. Despite being overshadowed by Notre Dame, this cathedral offers a more captivating experience for visitors. Located in the northern department of Seine St-Denis, it has undergone urban renewal projects that have greatly improved the area.
A religious building on the outskirts of Paris. The area where the basilica is located is pedestrianized, so be sure to find a space around it or in a covered parking lot (if you're driving). This basilica is a jewel of medieval art history and the Early Gothic architectural style, as well as the final resting place of the Kings and Queens of France and home to the relics of the patron saint of the Paris region. If you're passionate about Gothic art or royal funerary monuments, the Basilica of Saint-Denis is the place to see. The people who work at the ticket office are really nice and helpful. Small downside: I think that the model of the basilica, which is located near the toilets (in the building next door) should be located either in the part of the necropolis or in the religious space next to the explanatory panel on the walls or the screen which explains the history of the basilica.

A very odd woman started singing some religious songs when we were in one of the tiny crypt. You know, those fanatics who stand in the corner in their trance with closed eyes. I met these people before in old Mexican pyramid but Not sure what kind of energy this lady was looking in such place. it looked stupid and scares kids and other visitors. However it made me feel like I am still mentally not bad. The basilica itself is very interesting place especially if you familiar with French history and royal dynasties.

What an Amazing Building!!!!! This was perhaps the First Truly Gothic building. It has linking elements to romanesque ( a few Romanesque heavy , thick walls with no or small windows) in a few areas- but then- its absolutely GOTHIC!!!! i cant helpbut wonder if we are seeing later Gothic improvements on the original structure. There are repairs and partial renovations that make me wonder. A 5 star for ANY ARCHITECT or Civil Engineer!!!!!!

Extremely beautiful windows in a different style than many other churches. Most of the windows have recently been renovated so the light in the church was amazing. It is also the birthplace of Gothic Architecture as in the 12th century (c. 1135–1144), Abbot Suger directed a major renovation in which he incorporated key architectural innovations like the pointed arch, ribbed vaults, and extensive stained-glass windows to flood the interior with light. This design became the blueprint for cathedrals across Europe. During the French Revolution (1793), the basilica was secularized and its royal tombs were desecrated, with the remains of the monarchs exhumed and dumped into common graves. Among them King Louis XIV, King Louis XVI and his wife Marie Antoinette. Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette were beheaded by guillotine during the French Revolution in 1793 at the Place de la Révolution (now Place de la Concorde) in Paris. Their bodies were then dumped in quicklime in the Cimetière de la Madeleine In 1815, after the Restoration of the monarchy, the remains were exhumed but only fragments in poor condition remained which are now in two sober graves. There is a splendid sculpture of them both in the church The remains of Louis XIV and other kings, queens and other royalty were recovered from the mass graves of the revolution, identified in so far possible and placed in two ossuaries in the basilica's crypt. For Louis XIV there is a cenotaph Entry is € 17,- but that is well worth it as you get a lot of French history and at the end there is an interesting small artisan village with trades related to the church restoration and a large video presentation.

It was magnificent, I could not describe the beauty that people have to see it by themselves. It is a great place for catholic pilgrimage.

This cathedral is exquisite. It represents the birth of gothic architecture. The necropolis which you pay to enter ( the church is free) has dozens of queens and kings buried here. Their statues and burial sculptures are fascinating. It is well worth the €11 entry fee. Toilets available once you’ve purchased tickets.

Pont Neuf, the oldest and most famous bridge in Paris, is an arched stone bridge with two spans and a bronze statue of King Henri IV. It was commissioned by the king in the 16th century and opened in 1607 as the first bridge without houses built on it. The bridge connects main roads on the Right Bank and Left Bank, providing access to Ile de la Cite and Place Dauphine.
100000/10 The most romantic and quintessentially Parisian spot in the city. A must-visit at sunset—the view is unforgettable. At night, explore the dark mysterious tour. You can book online such tours. Enjoy the stunning view of the Eiffel Tower, and don’t miss the iconic green bookstalls along the riverbanks—perfect for finding vintage Parisian posters and books.

Pont Neuf - Romantic ❤️ Bridge the oldest bridge in Paris, holds a special charm that goes beyond history. I visited this place with my wife to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and walking here together created a memory I’ll never forget. The atmosphere along the Seine was simply magical—the flowing river, the gentle lights reflecting on the water, and the countless love locks attached to the bridge made me reflect on our own journey together. Looking at those locks, I realized how many experiences we’ve shared over the past 25 years. If you're visiting Paris with your partner, I highly recommend walking across Pont Neuf. It’s the perfect place to pause, reminisce, and reconnect with beautiful memories from the past.

Stunning views from every single angle. The architecture and the waters meet the blue skies and you literally hold your breath to take in each inch of beauty! Absolute miraculous majesty of nature and man’s artistry. History on all sides to view and learn with street vendors selling cold waters and gelato. Wear comfortable shoes or sandals because you are going to want to walk to take in all of the history, people and beauty!

A very lovely walk on the Pont Neuf, with a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. The location is perfect: just steps away from La Samaritaine, the Pont Neuf metro station, Châtelet station, and close to Rue de Rivoli with all its shops and restaurants. The Louvre Museum and the Tuileries Garden are also only about a 10-minute walk away.

The Pont Neuf has great features: elegant arches, Henri IV on horseback, wide sidewalks and circular bastions protruding over the river. The best are the masks carved in stone on the side of the bridge. They are hidden from view up top, you've got to go below the bridge deck to see them.

Located in the Louvre's western wing, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs is a paradise for fashion and luxury enthusiasts. It showcases an extensive collection of decorative arts objects spanning from the Middle Ages to the Art Nouveau movement. With around 150,000 items, visitors can admire ornate ceramics, crystal, fine furniture, medieval altarpieces, Renaissance wedding chests, 18th-century tapestries and First Empire tableware.
One of my favourite in Paris. Lots of things to see if you are a fan of decorations (from long time ago till modern time now). In one angle you can see both Olympics ballon and Tour Eiffel. Nice display, not many people, quiet. Highly recommend!

Enormous museum with rooms upon rooms furnished in the original style, plus nicely curated exhibits. Very good selection from the 19th and 18th century. The museum upper floors go quite high and offer a view of the tuilerie gardens. The collections on the top floors get quite conceptual (and ugly) but the view alone is worth it. World class museum, similar to the viennese museum of furniture. Note that decorative arts are a special focus so be prepared to see a lot of furniture and vases.

This museum has a wonderful and extensive collection of decorative arts from jewelry, fine objects of all types - glass, ceramics, metalware and furniture. I was dissaponted in the way the jewelry was displayed. The shadow boxes against one wall from floor to ceiling make it impossible to see the items on display in them. The dark lighting in tbe room also added to viewing challenges.

Great collection of historical artworks and grand furniture pieces, was hoping to see some fashion but no such luck, a lot of exhibits were in construction. The gift shop is neat too and the prices range a lot so you can deffo get something no matter your budget. Accessibility is great too as I arrived at the back door but security still allowed me and my mum in as we are both disabled 🙏🏽 much appreciated, even the airport made us walk around for special assistance which is quite counter-productive... free for disabled people when you provide proof!

Jardin du Palais Royal is a serene oasis nestled in the heart of Paris, just steps away from Jardin des Tuileries. This 17th-century garden is surrounded by elegant shopping arcades and features a striking black and white column installation by sculptor Daniel Buren. The park's rich history dates back to King Louis XIV's residency at the Palais Royal, which now houses the Conseil d'Etat.
It’s one of my favourite places in Paris. Mission Impossible was filmed here, Emily in Paris, many other popular movies as well. It has very nice atmosphere and architecture. I really enjoy being here while drinking a cup of coffee or reading a book.

The Jardin du Palais-Royal is a peaceful oasis right in the heart of Paris, just north of the Louvre. Despite its central location, it’s surprisingly calm and never too crowded. On one side, you’ll find charming cafés and restaurants; on the other, the quiet and elegant Rick Owens boutique. The modern art installations add a creative touch to the classic Parisian atmosphere. A perfect spot to relax, reflect, and enjoy a quieter side of Paris.

This is a historic garden located in the 1st arrondissement, opposite the northern wing of the Louvre. It is part of the architectural ensemble of the Palais-Royal, which includes a palace, a square, and a park. The garden was established in 1633 and covers an area of 20,850 m². Originally built for Cardinal Richelieu and known as the Cardinal's Palace, it became the royal residence after his death and was renamed the Palais-Royal. Today, the garden is open to the public and is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. It is surrounded by galleries with boutiques and cafes, and is also known for its modern installations, such as the Buren Columns and the Paul Bury Fountain. The garden features magnolias planted in 1992, which bloom every spring, creating a picturesque sight. There is also a small bronze cannon that was used as a sundial in the 18th century, firing every day at noon. The Palais-Royal Garden is an oasis of tranquility and beauty in the middle of a very noisy city. Interestingly, there are many cafes and restaurants serving Asian cuisine, especially Japanese and Korean, near the garden.

Went in September on a cloudy chilly day and it was still so magical. First, it’s free public space so no entry fee. There are a few benches and seating surrounding the fountain. It could be a lovely spot for a picnic, to relax and read a book, or for a stroll. Definitely ideal for photo shoots just under the lime and chestnut trees. You can find the Louvre and the city’s oldest restaurant nearby plus shopping in the surrounding arcade. Definitely a quintessential place to visit and linger awhile. Coming back again and again.

Saint-Eustache Church, located in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, is a Gothic masterpiece with a rich history dating back to the 13th century. Modeled after Notre Dame, it features stunning murals, sculptures, and a grand pipe organ. The church hosts LUMINISCENCE, an immersive show that narrates its captivating history through live music, theater performances, and 360-degree video mapping.
At first glance, a quiet, tucked-away church you might miss while walking from Les Halles. But step inside and it’s full of surprises — a massive interior, beautiful decor, stained glass, and peaceful silence amid the city noise. Definitely more than just a quick detour. A hidden gem that leaves a lasting impression.

It's the 2nd church i visited in Paris. It has many unique paintings and statues. It wasn't crowded so you can take your time and even sit down to admire its beauty. The colored windows were so beautiful. It's still being renovated from the inside so it has a strong smell of paint.

Every time we come to Paris, we think of Notre-Dame — but this church took my breath away. It may not have the same fame, yet it radiates such beauty and peace that it instantly becomes unforgettable. A true hidden gem in the City of Lights… and believe it or not, it’s completely free to visit!

What a wonderful church that I had the pleasure of singing Sunday Mass in the other week. The light from the stained glass windows was absolutely stunning when mixed with the insence of the mass, and the organ is just wonderful. Regular mass occurs here as well as frequent organ recitals which really show off the impressive instrument. Would highly recommend on a visit!

The church stands as a testament to architectural splendour, capturing admiration both inside and out. Its design allows for an abundance of natural light to fill the space, creating an inviting and uplifting atmosphere. Sunlight pours through the stained-glass windows, casting vibrant patches of colour across the interior. This interplay of light and colour enhances the experience of prayer, enveloping visitors in a serene and contemplative mood. Among the church’s many features, the organ holds a special place. Its presence and sound are particular favourites, offering a memorable highlight for those who visit or worship within these walls.

This is a large and beautiful church near rue Montorgueil. I haven't been inside yet, but hope to go to a concert there one day. I hope the Luminisence show will return some day, as I missed it. There are lots of benches outside the church where you can stop and take in the view. It's in an open area so it never feels crowded. When I was there, street vendors were playing live music. There are nearby bistro and it's a lovely place to spend a Sunday evening in Paris.

I was here at the beginning of March to see Macbeth. It's a small theatre in the heart of Paris, in front of the Louvre Museum, with gorgeous interior design and a small amphitheatre. If you don't know French, you have the opportunity to get glasses with subtitles in English. This service is free, and you can pick them up near the wardrobe. But be careful when choosing a play. In my case, since Macbeth was written many years ago, the subtitles were in Old English, which might be difficult to understand unless English is your mother tongue (however, even then, it might still be tough). Although the play was in French, the French language used was also not modern. In general, it was a nice experience, which is different from seeing an opera at Opéra Garnier and other typical tourist experiences you might have in Paris. It offered a more intimate and authentic cultural immersion, particularly given the historical context of the play and the theatre itself.

Title: Rue Saint-Honoré: Hype Wears Prada Review: Spent over two hours strolling Rue Saint-Honoré, seduced by its iconic name and hyped-up Wikipedia reputation. I expected cutting-edge fashion or at least one architectural jaw-drop — instead, I got a clean, narrow street trying to coast on legacy fumes. Bold fashion? Nowhere. Style statements? Silent. It's the kind of place that thinks a €2,000 handbag in a window is a cultural moment. The only thing of note was a modest church — Église Saint-Roch — that might whisper some history if you press your ear hard enough against the stone. (Turns out Napoleon once fired cannons near it. Very on-brand.) If you’re coming from NYC or DC, brace for disappointment. This street is minor league with major PR. Worth a walk if you’re killing time or curious why travel influencers keep overselling it.

Located in the heart of the Jardin des Tuileries, the Jeu de Paume is a renowned arts center dedicated to showcasing contemporary photography and film. Housed in a building with a rich history dating back to 1851, it was once used by the Nazis to store looted art during the occupation of Paris. Today, it stands as a prominent venue for avant-garde exhibits featuring big names in new photography, video, and art film.

Jeu de Paume – A Cultural Space at Place de la Concord, Paris Nestled in the heart of the square "La Concorde" in Paris, the Jeu de Paume is a stunning building that blends history, culture, and modernity in a truly captivating way. I had the pleasure of visiting the thought-provoking exhibition "Le Monde Selon l’IA" (The World According to AI), which offered deep insights into the evolution of artificial intelligence and what lies behind its development. The staff at the entrance were exceptionally welcoming and respectful, always ready to answer questions and assist with anything you might need. Inside, the library (bibliothèque) is a treasure trove of fascinating books. The librarians are friendly and eager to help you navigate topics or find specific information. The interior design of the building feels very modern, with raw concrete surfaces and a minimalist aesthetic. While this might suit the theme of contemporary exhibitions, it did feel a bit stark, perhaps lacking a touch of warmth or vibrancy that would make the space feel more alive. Although I didn’t have enough time to explore the cinema section, it looked incredibly intriguing and is definitely on my list for next time. All in all, the Jeu de Paume is a culturally rich and intellectually stimulating place, well worth a visit for those curious about art, technology, and modern expression

The first time I came here, I went to see a movie in the basement and was surprised why there was a museum here that I didn't know so I went back again. This time I came for the Thomas Demand exhibition. You can buy tickets inside the museum (buy directly with the staff or buy on the machine). You can also make an appointment in advance. I see this as more of a gallery than a museum, also not too crowded so it is very quiet.

Square du Vert-Galant is a charming garden located at the western tip of Ile de la Cite in Paris. It features a statue tribute to King Henri IV and offers a bohemian atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely evening with a bottle of wine. The park is popular in the summer, attracting visitors who relax on the grass while enjoying views of passing boats.
The Square du Vert-Galant is one of Paris’s most charming spots, steeped in history and nestled at the western tip of the Île de la Cité. Known for its serene beauty and greenery, the square offers a tranquil escape amidst the bustling city. After leaving the Panthéon on a pleasant afternoon, my wife and I made a brief stop at a Carrefour to grab some snacks for the journey ahead. We then began a leisurely stroll through the vibrant streets of the Latin Quarter, soaking in the charm of its narrow alleys and elegant façades. Crossing one of the many bridges connecting the Île de la Cité to the rest of Paris, we caught our first glimpse of the Square du Vert-Galant. Its location, surrounded by the Seine’s gentle waters, immediately set a peaceful tone. As we approached, we passed through the small courtyard featuring an equestrian statue of King Henry IV, a nod to the square’s namesake and his reputation as the “Vert-Galant” (Green Gallant) for his romantic exploits. From here, a stone staircase led us down to the square itself, though it’s worth noting that those with mobility concerns may prefer the accessible ramps alongside the river. The square is beautifully landscaped, with tall trees providing welcome shade and manicured gardens adding a splash of colour. It’s a popular spot for locals looking to relax during lunch breaks or couples enjoying a quiet moment together. We found a lovely spot along the riverbank, where we could sit, savour our snacks, and take in the picturesque views of the Seine and the city beyond. The calm waters, the occasional boat gliding by, and the soft rustle of leaves created a serene atmosphere that felt quintessentially Parisian. Practical tips for visiting include planning your route to ensure accessibility if needed and arriving early to secure one of the benches during busier hours. The square is open to the public and free to enter, making it an excellent addition to any itinerary. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful spot to unwind or a romantic setting to share with your partner, the Square du Vert-Galant is a hidden gem worth exploring. Our visit left us feeling refreshed and immersed in the local ambiance. It’s a place that truly embodies the relaxed elegance of Paris and is highly recommended for anyone seeking a quieter corner of the city.

I celebrated my birthday here and we had such a blast. The view is astonishing, you can sit next to the Seine and you have as well the park if you want a “greener” environment. I recommend you to bring your own beer and speaker and you are going to have an unforgettable evening or night.

Located at the point of Ile de la Cité,is this lovely greenspace, with its peace and tranquility, it is the perfect place, with plenty of seating to have a picnic lunch.

I went there so a night walk, and it was open and there were some people but there were also a couple of rats and some garbage which i felt was a shame for such a nicely located park.

Hidden gem of a park accessible by stair from pont neuf. History lesson that i was told is that the last knight Templar, Jacques de Molay, was burned to death on this spot. Great little park.

This place gets very busy as it has blossom trees and is clearly visible from the bridge. Having said that tho, it can be nice if you get a seat and enjoy watching people and the boats go by. Get some nice bread and wine and enjoy a little break in this busy tourist area.
Caïna V — Google review
An island peninsula that made our top 5 list. I'm not sure if it was because it was outdoors in the middle of the Seine or the bright green Weeping Willow that provides the coolest picnic spot, but this tickled us. Grab some snackies and wine and chill for an hour or two.

Musée d'art et d'histoire, located in the Saint Denis district, is a peaceful oasis where visitors can delve into the history and culture of the area. The museum was saved from destruction in 1972 and has been housed in the former Carmel buildings since 1981. It's conveniently situated near St. Basilica Cathedral and offers affordable admission for adults and students. The museum showcases the development of Saint-Denis from medieval times to the present day through permanent and temporary exhibitions.
This literally an oasis in Saint Denis district area wherein multiracial living there peacefully. So we can also learn about the history and culture before us. Saved from destruction in 1972 by the municipality of Saint-Denis, the buildings of the former Carmel have housed, since 1981, the Paul Eluard art and history museum. A great museum to be visited when you are in Saint Denis area, nearby to St. Basilica Cathedral as well. The ticker also very affordable both for adult and students. Them staffs are very kind and friendly.

The museum is not far from Saint-Denis cathedral, and is open every day except Monday. Admission is inexpensive, at just €3 per person. The exhibition in this museum show the development of the city of Saint-Denis from medieval times to the present day. Besides the permanent exhibitions, there are also temporary exhibitions that change from time to time. This is a great place to visit if you want to know more about the history of Saint-Denis in France.
Harry S — Google review
This museum is varied and excellent. The Sonia Delaunay exhibition (fabric design, printing and fashion) is fantastic. It features a dressage by students from St Denis using one of her patterns. The Carmelite section is fascinating and slightly unnerving. Other exhibitions of works by Francis Jourdain, the rooms on the Paris Commune, and the Venus exhibition in the chapel (June 2025), are excellent. All for 5 euros.
Sharon R — Google review
The museum keeps the artifacts of the history and the art of Saint Denis. There is also a museum of French poet Paul Eluard, the author of Liberté
Oksana S — Google review
Go back in time, imagine the life of a nun or sister, walk the halls of this medieval building turned into a local museum a little bit hidden. Enjoy the expansive outdoor atriums. The descriptions are only in French which will explain the scarcity of visitors. The displays give life to the evolution of the little town of St. Denis, some political nuances, some feeling of life from years forgotten. Make sure to take a visit inside the Basilica of St. Denis which is but a quick jaunt, walking distance away.
M.A. E — Google review
I like to support local museums which are often great, but unfortunately this was not. It was a museum of St Denis's art and history and used to be a Carmelite convent. Based on my visit, they don't seem to have many items to show; they had lots of pottery fragments; some coins; 19th century, poor quality paintings about the Paris commune; and handwritten lists and poem drafts from French poet Paul Eluard. It was a really confusing museum to walk-through; even though there were lots of rooms in multiple buildings, there wasn't a logical flow (or else I couldn't figure it out). Signage in English was minimal. What would’ve interested me is reading about how the rooms in the Carmelite convent were used back in the day, but there was very little mention of the nuns. I’ve also had luck in foreign museums in talking to the docent in each room, but here they were on their phone with personal conversations or so intently staring at it that I truly thought I would be bothering them with questions (although to be fair, I did ask one guy where a certain gallery was and turns out it was two floors below me and he actually took me all the way down there). Would not recommend this.

The Saint Denis tourist office (aka POP) is a great place to orient yourself in a town that lacks visible tourism. The employees were helpful with maps, a discount passport for local attractions and souvenirs. They were really positive ...but did not always have up to date opening hours on attractions so Google verify. Very limited shop hours, closed on Mon & Tues. My top 5 SD recommendations: 1.
