Absolutely amazing stay! The property is super quiet with stunning views, especially from the large rooftop terrace. Very spacious, with two terraces, comfy lounge areas, and a great grill. The apartment was spotless and well-equipped, especially the kitchen. Air conditioning in every room worked perfectly. You can park right in front of the apartment – very convenient! The whole estate is beautifully maintained, full of flowers and greenery – truly idyllic. Laura, the host, is incredibly warm and welcoming. She greeted us personally and made sure we had everything we needed. The shared saltwater pool is also great, just a 2–3 minute walk downhill. Since two other apartments are right next to it, we didn’t spend too much time there to avoid disturbing anyone – not a complaint, just good to know. All in all: a peaceful, beautiful place. We’d love to come back!

Our stay at Borgo dell'Uccellaia was more than amazing. We planned on staying three night but after a few hours later we knew we must try and stay longer. Giuseppe and Laura were exceptional host, we were greeted by both of them and spoiled with homemade delicious treats, fresh fruit and much more. We don’t speak Italian but Laura speaks and understand English enough that everything was very pleasant and smooth. We would recommend anyone to stay at Borgo dell'Uccellaia. It’s away from town and the grounds of the property are gorgeous with stunning views of the bay. We felt safe and loved the morning and evening sunsets on the upper balcony with wine, Prosecco or morning Expressos. The accommodations and cleanliness are impeccable. There is so much to do and see on Elba Island we could of spent a month. We will definitively be visiting again.

This is a fantastic place, living in a garden with the open view on Marciana Marina and on the see. The apartment was beautifully decorated, fully equipped, clean and very comfortable. We fully enjoyed our time at Borgo. The garden was a definitive highlight, spreading over terrasses, all equipped and accessible with a fantastic view. The pool as a dream. Last but not least, the hosts were responsive, careful about every details, and very committed.

My family and I had an amazing week at Borgo dell’Uccellaia. We enjoyed the apartment with the terrace a lot - the location is beautiful, overlooking the sea and the village - as well as the garden with the pool and the vegetable garden. My girlfriend and I had a fantastic time on a 3-hour kayaking tour with three other participants and two instructors. We are 3 person. We had a private tour (9am until 3pm) together with our guide Dario. The tour was along the coast. Highlight was a stop at Paolina beach (swimming and an Italian lunch provided by Sea Kajak). It was an unforgettable experience. The attention, support and kindness of Dario made the difference. The equipment provided was very good. A „base level“ of fitness will help to enjoy the tour. Dario was paying attention. He asked the right questions and found the perfect tour for us three. Do not forget a head, water shoes and a good sun cream. We bought a watersealed bag for our phones. That bag helped us to make very nice pictures at Paolina beach. Great tour and memory of Elba!

I had an amazing sea kayaking tour. Our guide was excellent – calm, professional, and always reassuring. The associate guide was brilliant at looking after everyone, making sure we felt safe and supported throughout. Safety was clearly a top priority, and everything was very well organized. The food was great, spirits were always high, and we were really well looked after from start to finish. The island itself is absolutely beautiful, and by kayak we explored parts of it that simply cannot be experienced from the land. This really is the only way to see Elba, and this is the guide to do it with. No other tour or non-local guide could give the same experience.

Had a fantastic day out with the team at Sea Kayak Italy, they were really knowledgeable of the coastline, local flora and forna as well as the geology. I would definitely recommend!!

The anchor on the boat we rented was not fastened properly and got lost from the chain when we anchored in soft sand. Luckily we noticed the boat drifting but could not make any more stops that day. When we came back we got charged 100€ for a 40€ anchor. They claimed they checked the anchor that morning. Arrivati lì abbiamo spiegato il tutto e ci hanno cominciato a offendere, fregandosene altamente dell accaduto, di averci dato un gommone che aveva problemi e quindi consumasse come una Ferrari! Arriviamo sul posto e non ancora convinti la proprietaria ci dice che non ci sarebbero stati problemi in quando girata una scogliera il mare sarebbe stata una piattaforma… beh il mare non solo non era una piattaforma ma era molto mosso, noi eravamo in 8 e si saltava di continuo per le onde alte e non solo, perché ha piovuto tutto il tempo e siamo morti di freddo. Detto fatto avevamo pagato per l’Intera giornata e quando abbiamo visto che quello che aveva detto la proprietaria non era del tutto veritiero abbiamo provato a chiamarla più volte visto che eravamo in mezzo al mare mosso ma non ci ha degnato di risposta. Siamo riusciti per fortuna a tornare indietro infreddoliti e spaventati per l’accaduto. Chiaramente siamo tornati indietro prima di pranzo ma noi avevo pagato per l’intera giornata. Arrivati sul posto la proprietaria non c’era, c’era un altro signore molto probabilmente un collaboratore .. poco importante perché ha dimostrato una grande maleducazione nei confronti di noi clienti quando bastava un semplice “ mi dispiace”, visto che loro ci avevano fatto navigare con un tempo del genere! Ci ha fatto passare quasi per incapaci dicendo che il mare era calmo e aveva altri comandanti nel mare con gommoni e barche.. beh in realtà nel mare c’eravamo solo noi, e probabilmente anche considerando che poteva avere qualcuno dei suoi comandanti sicuramente saranno state persone con esperienza e con la patente nautica ( cosa che noi non abbiamo ). Detto fatto abbiamo chiesto un rimborso della metà giornata non fatta ( visto che abbiamo pagato per tutta la giornata) ma chiaramente il rimborso non è stato fatto. Non è per i soldi, considerando che eravamo in 8 veniva poco a testa, ma per il disagio arrecato considerando che stavamo tutti tremando dal freddo e visto e considerato che avevamo pagato per una giornata intera volevamo che le cose andassero diversamente.
