Nature & Parks
Gardens
Bellevue Botanical Garden is a sprawling 53-acre oasis in Bellevue, Washington, featuring cultivated gardens, natural wetlands, and preserved woodlands. Managed by various organizations from the Seattle Metropolitan Area, it welcomes over 400,000 visitors annually. The garden offers themed gardens and tranquil woodlands for residents and tourists to enjoy. Visitors can explore distinct garden areas with unique appeals and partake in community celebrations and outdoor art exhibits.
A beautiful experience. I had only been her during the winter lighting festivities so it was a great pleasure to see the gardens at their peak of eye candy beauty. The color and plantings are stunning. We ventured over to see and walk over the suspension bridge as well. We were there just over 1.5 hr but many can spend much longer. All for free so visit often. Parking was a premium. Had to park down the street.
Dennis J — Google review
The Bellevue Botanical Garden is a beautiful park filled with great plants and flowers. I particularly enjoyed the serene Japanese Garden, with its simple wooden structures. Even though there's a parking lot in the middle of the park, I opted to take the bus, which worked out perfectly. It was easy to get there after a stop at nearby supermarkets like Target and Trader Joe's. One of the best things about this park is its location. It's right next to downtown Bellevue, so you can easily walk to Bellevue Square to do some shopping after a relaxing time in the garden. The garden is quite large, and I didn't get a chance to see the entire east side. I only made it as far as the central parking lot before I decided to head back. There are many beautiful flowers and small, traditional buildings scattered throughout the park. The trails are well-marked, so you won't get lost. I especially recommend the Yao Garden, a small, tranquil space with a pond, and the maple leaf area, which would be stunning with red leaves in the autumn.
Nan L — Google review
Visiting the Bellevue Botanical Garden felt like stepping into a hidden pocket of peace in the middle of the weekend rush. The best part? It’s completely free to enter. Parking can be a bit tricky—I went on a weekend and felt lucky snagging a very tight spot—but once you’re inside, it’s worth it. At noon, they offer free guided tours where volunteers walk you through the paths and share stories about the garden’s plants and history. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the sound of a waterfall feature, setting the tone for the calmness ahead. Maps and brochures are available at the entrance, which makes it easy to wander without getting lost. Every corner has something blooming, but the showstopper for me was a giant red hibiscus—so large I had to stop and just take it in. Families strolled by with kids, enjoying the open space and time together, while others found quiet spots to reflect or take photos. For me, it was more than just looking at flowers; it was a place to slow down, think, and appreciate the little meaningful things life has to offer. I haven’t seen all of the garden yet, so I’ll definitely be back to explore more.
Thu L — Google review
Such a beautiful and peaceful escape right in the heart of Bellevue! The gardens are perfectly maintained with vibrant flowers, lush greenery, and lovely walking trails. It’s a great place to unwind, take photos, or enjoy a quiet stroll surrounded by nature. The suspension bridge and seasonal blooms are must-sees! Free entry and parking make it even better. Highly recommend for families, couples, or anyone needing a nature break. 🌿🌸
Sivan T — Google review
This botanic garden has several different types of gardens. You can enjoy seasonal flowers, local plants, beautiful trees and little birds. There’s a cafe, benches you can sit down and rest. Also there’s clean bathroom and a lovely souvenir shop, plenty of parking space. Admission free.
Fumi O — Google review
The parking lot is conveniently located right next to the entrance, making it easy to visit. Peaceful and beautifully maintained, this garden offers the perfect setting for a relaxing stroll, with diverse plants, vibrant spring and summer blooms, and thoughtfully designed walking paths. Before leaving, I picked up a lavender lip balm from the gift shop — a small purchase I truly love.
Stephanie T — Google review
What a gorgeous place that exists in the heart of Bellevue! Definitely go on sunny day with clear skies and enjoy the lush green nature and serene ambiance. Lots of variety of flowers to be mesmerized by, as well as fascinating sculptures along the garden path. Garden is divided into themes based on your interest, so be sure to allocate a few hours to take all the breathtaking scenery and explore all the trails this beautiful place has to offer. Highly recommend this place for a weekend getaway for a few hours, you wont regret the time you spent immersing yourself with the natural beauty here, definitely worth it! Free admission as well, open to the public.

Easily walkable and beautifully landscaped, this Botanical Garden will surely give peace and joy. Walk through the winding paths, cross little streams, photograph flowers drooping under their own weight! Its gorgeous!

Museums
Located in downtown Bellevue, the Bellevue Arts Museum is a renowned institution showcasing contemporary arts, crafts, and design. Since its establishment in 1975, it has been a non-profit organization offering rotating exhibits by regional and national artists. The museum also features an on-site gift store where visitors can purchase unique hand-made items. In addition to the museum, Bellevue offers various attractions such as shopping areas, parks, and outdoor activities like zip lining and berry picking.
The museum is not open. However the Gift Shop is Amazing! Do stop in n and hear the story of the owner!

Visiting on a Friday afternoon is great! No crowd and easily found parking! Art items are expensive but you can support the local artists!
Pan T — Google review
Nice art museum with rotating exhibitions (check website). Lots of cool and beautiful art and exhibitions, although as others have mentioned this museum is significantly smaller than ex. SAM or MoPOP. (It is also cheaper!) As a general heads up, they no longer do free first Fridays but offer a free 2nd Sunday for students, and discounts on tickets for Bellevue collection. When I went, tickets were $15 for adults/$8 for youth (17 and under). I have never seen a wait or a large crowd (except during artsfair in the summer) so it tends to be a quiet museum. Their exhibits are mainly on the 2nd and 3rd floor. On the 2nd floor there's a cool community art room which is great for kids to make their own art and hang it on the walls. On the 3rd floor there's a small outdoor patio area as well you can access behind two doors.
Cindy F — Google review
This is a clean and sophisticated museum that rotates new art every six months. I've found it to be a great place to visit for a calm and expressive experience before heading to one of the great restaurants nearby. I've also had memorable experiences learning from the staff here who are outgoing and knowledgeable.
Jonathan L — Google review
Love, love, love this museum. Was recently there to install Nicole Gordon’s fantastic show “Altered States” and could not have had a more delightful experience. The staff and docents are great; friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Am returning soon (from Chicago no less) and very much looking forward to my next visit. This museum is a 10 out of 10 all the way round; really interesting exhibits and great staff, what more could you ask for?
Sue P — Google review
I visited the museum with my cousin, we wanted to view the Burning Man exhibition. They had a small collection of gifts handed out on the playa, plus a few portraits of scenes of various moments throughout the time Burning Man has been held at Black Rock. I meandered through some of the other art exhibits which where very cool to see and some even interact with. I had an enjoyable day.
Aleric L — Google review
I visited this museum for the first time in the early afternoon on a Friday and was blown away! They had just opened two new exhibits on the top floor that morning so I got to walk around and experience them practically alone, which was lovely. The glass show on the second floor was beautiful and inspiring, and I was moved to tears by Julie Green’s project on the stairwell.
Quianna M — Google review
We went there at first Friday in July and it was admission free. It’s nice small museum. We understand that this is not huge museum. We didn’t expect much. They have pretty interesting exhibits. Lovely art. They have a cute little area for children. I think it’s worth it to come visit this museum. Will definitely come here again.

Park
Bellevue Downtown Park is a serene 21-acre green space nestled in the heart of the city, drawing a diverse crowd seeking outdoor respite. The park boasts a 240-foot-wide waterfall cascading into a reflective pond, surrounded by a half-mile promenade lined with shade trees. Visitors can unwind on the expansive ten-acre lawn for picnics or leisurely strolls.
Visiting Bellevie Downtown Park has quickly become one of my favorite weekend activities! The park offers an incredible balance of open, natural beauty and thoughtful design. The vast grassy fields are perfect for picnics, playing catch, or simply relaxing in the sun, and they’re always well-maintained and inviting. One of the park’s most stunning features is the infinite fountain that gracefully wraps around the entire space. It adds such a peaceful, almost magical atmosphere, especially with the gentle sound of the water following you as you walk. Speaking of walking, the path that circles the park is perfectly maintained — smooth, wide, and ideal for a leisurely stroll, a morning jog, or an evening walk with friends and family. Families will especially love the inspirational playground. It’s colorful, creative, and clearly designed with both fun and imagination in mind — you can see the kids’ faces light up the moment they step onto it. Adding to the park’s beauty are the gorgeous landscaped gardens and striking pieces of structural art thoughtfully placed throughout. Everywhere you look, there’s something visually interesting — whether it’s a perfectly manicured flower bed or a unique sculpture that sparks conversation. The Park is truly a gem and a wonderful reminder of how a public space can be both functional and inspiring. I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors in a beautifully curated setting!
Duncan M — Google review
We really enjoy spending time at Bellevue Downtown Park. It’s such a beautiful space with wide open grassy areas, a peaceful walking loop with a waterfall, and just an overall calm, clean vibe. It’s a favorite spot for us to relax or let the kids run around. The Inspirational Playground inside the park is especially great for younger kids and toddlers. It’s colorful, thoughtfully designed, and has a lot of fun play structures. It’s engaging, fun, and the best part is the splash pad—perfect for cooling off and having a great time! Just a heads-up: if you or your little one aren’t planning to get wet, keep a bit of distance or bring a change of clothes so your kiddo can splash away without worry. One thing I did want to mention though: there are some sign and donor boards placed around the play area, and a few of them have sharp or pointy corners—not exactly ideal in a space meant for little ones. It felt a bit out of place in an otherwise well-designed and safe environment. Just something to watch out for if you’ve got a curious toddler who touches everything (like mine!). As for parking, there are two lots: one smaller lot right next to the playground, and a larger lot on the opposite side of the park. On regular days, parking is difficult yet manageable, but during weekends or summer events—like the free outdoor movie nights—both lots fill up fast, and it can be almost impossible to find a spot. I’d definitely recommend arriving early if you’re planning to attend one of the park’s seasonal events. All in all, it’s a wonderful spot for families—just hoping they revisit some of those design details to make it even safer and more accessible during busy times

Bellevue Downtown Park is a fantastic urban green space that's perfectly situated for a day of shopping and relaxation. Its location right next to Bellevue Square makes it incredibly convenient to grab food and drinks for a quick picnic on the go. The park's large central lawn is a great spot for various activities, and the scenic waterfall and reflecting pond add to the peaceful atmosphere. It’s a huge area, so parents can easily keep an eye on their children playing on the grass while they enjoy a snack and the beautiful surroundings. For families with kids, the park also has a designated playground area that's perfect for letting children burn off some energy. Just be mindful of the grass, as some areas may contain dog waste. All in all, it's a wonderful park that provides a serene escape right in the heart of the city.
Nan L — Google review
A nice, but somewhat boring park. There's little stream with ducks, a path around the park, and a big open field where you can play sports or just hang out. There is also a cool tree structure and flowers in the northeast corner. However, the public bathrooms are very unpleasant due to the smell and cleanliness
Dylan L — Google review
Great place for a walk/jog! Parking can be rough on sunny days, but it's a really large and clean gathering space. Probably the most tweaks I've seen here at once is 2. Feels really safe here. Well maintained by the parks department. And lots of ducks!
Becca J — Google review
Beautiful place to walk around, have a picnic, relax for a while. The parking is a nightmare sometimes and the spaces are super tiny (not big enough to open your doors without potentially hitting the other cars). Besides that, the fountain is beautiful. The park is very clean. It’s a nice place to watch the sunset and enjoy time with others.
Widnelly C — Google review
Such a beautiful park. We went this past Saturday and it was filled with families & activity. Parking lot for the park is small and it was a mess trying to go in & find parking. I recommend finding parking on the street or nearby, and walking to the park.

Lovely park. Lots of people walking their dogs, lots of people playing volleyball, badminton , frisbee. Someone was playing live saxophone music. Ducks in the water. Overall nice atmosphere to enjoy the evening.

Bellevue's favorite park is a 2.5 acre beachfront park with in-season swimming, a fishing dock, and picnic areas. It has multiple levels and seems much bigger than its real size, making it a fun place to visit during any season.
Meydenbauer Bay Park is a hidden gem in Bellevue — clean, safe, and beautifully maintained. The walking trails are scenic and shaded, with public art like the fish sculpture adding cultural charm. The viewpoint bridge offers amazing views of the lake and downtown skyline. I also appreciate the well-lit paths and clear signage. A perfect spot for a stroll, picnic, or quiet moment by the water.

This is a nice park with great views. Perfect to take an evening stroll. Beautiful views of the water from the pier. Has play area for kids as well as beach access. Very calm and pleasant for walking. Has free parking on site. Definitely worth visiting.

This spot is perfect for chilling, playing, boating, swimming, and having some water fun. Plus, there's a cool playground for sports ⚽🏀🏈⚾. The flowers are beautiful and well cared for. 😍
Joann L — Google review
One of my favorite places to spend the evening, especially with the beautiful colors of the sunset. It’s great for kids—with a nice beach perfect for swimming and a fantastic playground. If you’re up for kayaking or trying out surf boats, there’s a rental spot nearby, making it super accessible. The flowers are well cared for, and the whole place smells wonderful. There’s also additional parking available, which is helpful because it can get pretty crowded on sunny days. Bonus: parking is free!
Frooty — Google review
great park, amazing views! it's a park with many inclined roads , make sure to carry your stroller if you are going with kids as carrying them around isn't easy. there are many slides for kids with different age groups. there is also a sandy, rocky beach for summer playtime with few ducks visiting the beach!
Ratish K — Google review
Nice beach area, facilities and kids park on the water. Can rent kayaks and paddleboards near the Marina. Water has been calm in the bay on each of my visits so looks like a great thing to try!
Rebecca D — Google review
Beautiful park and right in the city. There is a rental place here, if you want to try kayaking and there are lots of people that bring their own paddle gear to enjoy the water. There's restrooms and public showers to rinse off. Plus a children's play area that looks fun. There are some walking trails as well. All in all, a great family spot.
Stella L — Google review
Can't beat the view of Lake Washington here, even on a cloudy day. ♥️ Beautiful park, playground, clean restrooms. Door sign said closed until April but thankfully one was open for use. Great cement paths for walking. Lots of incline in some areas though, so although wheelchair accessible, could be tricky. Sandy beach, fantastic docks and perfect for sunset views.

Shopping mall
Shopping
Bellevue Square is a bustling shopping destination that attracts over 23 million visitors annually. With more than 200 stores, this expansive venue offers a wide range of retail options, as well as casual and upscale dining choices. Originally opened in 1946 as the Bellevue Shopping Square, it has undergone renovations over the years and is now part of the Bellevue Collection in downtown.
Spacious two-story mall with a wide variety of shops and dining options. Restrooms are conveniently located at every corner and are well-maintained. Parking is free and usually easy to find, making for a hassle-free shopping experience.
Kelly L — Google review
Beautiful mall and stores!! But could definitely use 2X as many restrooms. Most restrooms only have 1-2 stalls which sucks when your waiting or being rushed. Overall beautiful mall. Not a fan of the mapping as it makes you double back to see some stores . But aside from the bathrooms I would definitely go back. Just gotta be sure you use the restroom beforehand . Pretty packed on the weekends , also it feel like about 73-74 degrees so a little hotter than I’m used to but just make sure not to wear a sweater
Alejandro M — Google review
A very popular and very classy mall in downtown Bellevue. This is a place with a large Tommy Bahama store in its upper floors and an actual Tesla store on a lower level, with cars inside the mall: that is the kind of place this is. Everyone here dresses stylishly, talks politely, and has a kind of innate self-confidence and assuredness that I admire. Personally, I wandered around, took a few pictures of the elegance, and bought a cone of Ben and Jerry's Americone Dream. It is a comfortable and pleasant space to relax, read, and watch people traveling through the shops and snapping a few selfies. I cannot think of a place better suited to the clientele of Bellevue, and I appreciate it for that reason.

One of my absolute favorite malls Bellevue Square never disappoints 😍😍 I’ve been visiting this mall for years, and it still feels like a perfect shopping destination every time. What makes it extra special is that I used to work at Nordstrom here – so this place feels like home! The Nordstrom store is top-notch in terms of both service and selection. I also love browsing Macy’s, Bath & Body Works, and the stunning Swarovski store – their jewelry is simply beautiful and timeless. Another hidden gem is Buckle – they’ve got some really trendy styles and great denim options. What’s even better? It’s just a quick 5-minute drive from my home, so it’s my go-to for everything from shopping to casual coffee hangouts. I often stop by Woods Coffee or grab a pretzel from Auntie Anne’s – perfect pick-me-ups during a shopping spree! The mall is always clean, vibrant, and offers something for everyone – from luxury to everyday essentials. Highly recommend Bellevue Square to anyone looking for a fantastic shopping and lifestyle experience🙌🏻🙌🏻
Anita P — Google review
Located in the center of Bellevue, Washington's downtown, Bellevue Square is a top retail destination. The mall makes an impression as soon as you enter thanks to its contemporary construction, spotless, well-lit interiors, and welcoming ambiance. With a total area of around 1.3 million square feet, it provides the ideal balance of luxury and modern shopping, making it a must-see for both residents and visitors. With more than 200 retail establishments, the mall offers something for every type of customer. High-end fashion connoisseurs will value retailers such as Nordstrom, Tiffany & Co., and Louis Vuitton, while consumers seeking more reasonably priced yet fashionable options can check out Zara and other modern brands. We especially loved the Macy's sale, which had fantastic discounts on high-quality goods. Bellevue Square offers great food options in addition to shopping. There are several different restaurants inside, ranging from quick eats to fine dining establishments. For those seeking a filling lunch or a delectable dessert, The Cheesecake Factory, which is situated just outside the mall, is a fantastic option. Additionally, the mall's food court has a variety of choices, so the whole family is sure to find something they like. Bellevue Square's connectedness is one of its best qualities. It is seamlessly connected to other areas of the Bellevue Collection, such as hotels, offices, and entertainment venues, by skybridges. Because of this, it's the perfect place to spend a day out, whether it's for dining, shopping, or just taking in the vibrant atmosphere. Every visit is different because of the mall's seasonal events that unite the community. Bellevue Square has plenty to offer everyone, whether you're searching for upscale shopping, family-friendly activities, or a laid-back day out. It's a lively, active, and well-kept shopping center that genuinely makes Bellevue more enjoyable. Strongly advised!

I love coming here every week to get my nails done, and facial treatments at In Spa. I usually get my nails done at Inspa Nail next to NorthTrom on the 2nd floor. The nail technicians there are very attentive and skillful, I like to relax and beautify myself at Inspa. The shopping center is clean and beautiful, the space is splendid, there are many chairs to rest, there are green trees that are friendly to the environment, many games and food for children. There are many delicious foods of many cultures and countries at very cheap prices. The stores are high-class brands and often have promotions of 50-60% off. I love shopping and getting my nails done here because I have beautiful nails when I am there. I love this place. Come here to relax every week to make you more cheerful and happy.

Located in downtown Bellevue, KidsQuest Children's Museum offers a joy-filled and spacious environment with both indoor and outdoor interactive educational exhibits. The museum emphasizes STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) through its hands-on exhibits designed for children aged 10 and under.
This Museum is an amazing destination for kids to play, explore, and learn! This hands-on museum offers a variety of engaging activities for children of all ages. One of the highlights is the water play area, where kids can splash, experiment, and discover how water flows and interacts with different objects. The grocery shopping pretend play section is also a favorite, allowing little ones to role-play as shoppers or cashiers, sparking creativity and teamwork. For toddlers, there’s a dedicated area with age-appropriate toys and activities, ensuring even the youngest visitors have a safe and exciting experience. The museum also offers plenty of books to read, along with building toys and trains, encouraging both quiet moments and imaginative play. Educational exhibits about farms, bees, and worms are thoughtfully designed, providing kids with fun ways to learn about nature and the environment. It’s a great opportunity for hands-on learning that captures their curiosity. Overall, Kids Quest Museum is an exceptional space for children to have fun and learn at the same time. I would totally recommend it to any family looking for an interactive, enriching experience for their kids!

Great place for kids, including toddlers! There’s something for every child to enjoy, with a wonderful variety of toys and creative play stations. The storytime teacher was energetic and engaging. Parking can be a bit tricky depending on the time of day, and although you get access the whole day, it could be tricky to come back. We’ll definitely be back!

This is a fun place to take a toddler. There are several rooms with different themes. There is a grocery store play area, a nursing and book area, play train 🚂 track and plenty of climbing areas. I thought the bees 🐝 and worms 🪱 were a neat! There is a park and library next door. There is paid parking in front of the museum. They are currently renovating the water room.
Anay K — Google review
The museum offers a wide range of hands-on exhibits that cater to various interests and developmental stages. The two-story climbing structure is a standout, providing adventurous kids with a safe and exhilarating challenge. For those who enjoy imaginative play, the Bellevue Mercantile allows children to role-play in a general store setting, enhancing social and cognitive skills. The water play area is another highlight, featuring interactive elements that teach basic physics concepts in a fun and engaging way. Parents will appreciate the museum’s attention to detail, including the clean facilities, friendly staff, and designated areas for toddlers, ensuring a safe environment for the youngest visitors. The museum also offers a variety of programs throughout the year, such as early learning classes, summer camps, and family workshops, providing ongoing opportunities for enrichment. Located in downtown Bellevue, KidsQuest is easily accessible and offers a perfect indoor activity for rainy days or any day when your child needs a stimulating environment to explore. Whether you’re a local resident or visiting the area, this museum is a must-visit destination that promises hours of educational fun for children and a pleasant experience for adults.

Very neat place. Has a lot to offer to kids of various ages. The different levels and various activities is great for kids to learn through play. We brought our boys here and they absolutely loved it. The only thing, is there is limited parking in the parking lot.
Pam C — Google review
There are about seven or eight sections for kids to play and explore, plus an outdoor area. It was very interactive and stimulating for my 17-month-old, and I appreciated that everything was well-maintained and very clean. The downsides are the limited parking and crowding. There are only about ten parking spots at the building, and nothing else within two blocks. You can’t park at the library next door—there was a very over-zealous parking attendant questioning people who tried—and there’s no street parking either. That’s a real inconvenience in the rain with young children. I went on a Tuesday morning, and it was still very packed. It doesn’t seem like they limit entry, and it felt overwhelming with so many kids. We did catch a storytime session, but it was hard to see or hear anything past the first row since the microphones weren’t working. Overall, it was an okay experience 👍🏻—fun for little ones but very crowded and a bit pricey for a half-day activity.

My husband, granddaughter, and I arrived at 9:30 a.m. sharp and we had to wait a few minutes for the staff to ready themselves for the busy day ahead. It was a fun filled morning for all of us as we watch our girl play, learn, and be fascinated by it all. Great place for children. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful visit. We brought our 21m son here & he loved it, especially the water play area. So much to do & see for kids. I appreciated the Tots Orchard for the younger-aged kids. Plenty of restrooms & even some sitting areas away from the playing kids to sit & decompress. A clean & safe places for little ones to have interactive play. We didn’t use it but I saw lockers you can rent for the day which is a nice touch. We came on a Sunday at 130pm & had no issues with parking. Super helpful that they have an easily accessible parking lot for $5. I can’t wait to come more regularly now that we discovered KidsQuest.

Downtown Park, located in Redmond, is a well-liked gathering spot for the local community and a venue that frequently hosts cultural events, concerts, and sports activities. Spanning 2 acres, it encompasses an expansive lawn area with a seating deck, the Buoyant Water Pavilion which serves as a stage for shows and performances, a delightful Splash Pad for children, and ample space to unwind and observe.
I haven’t been to Redmond for a long time and I was very pleasantly surprised to see a beautiful park built among modern apartments. The park is quite large and has a lawn for children with many sitting area around. There is also public restroom with showers outside.

Beautiful park and great hang out for young and old alike! Just a few feet from the park is Molly Moon Ice Cream and during the summer the lines are long! These shots were taken at night and there was ample parking at this time.

In the heart of Redmond, this is a decent size park. In summers they switch on fountain and kids have fun. Park maintenance is really good. Parking is the biggest concern as parking is on street side only. Many a times they setup small.business stalls and they are really fun.

Its a nice little park in the middle of busy Redmond and close to some great trails for walk/biking. There is limited parking around the park and public restroom is available. Restroom is nice and clean. Its a family friendly park and lighting in the evening makes its perfect place to hangout with your buddy

The Redmond Downtown Park is a truly great spot to walk through and enjoy when in the core of the city. It has many amazing features, a built in stage, great plants, lighting, and over special occasions it has a wonderful wintertime event by the name of "Redmond Lights". It was over this occasion in 2018 that Sensebellum was invited to provide some of our best interactive art works including x3 of "The Sandbox of Life" works. It was so great to see so many people of all walks approach the works, start to play, and then stay for way longer than necessary as the pieces engaged both children and adults alike. I hope to see this event continue to grow and for people to enjoy the park. Thank you again to the event organizers for such a wonderful time!

Great location and layout. Can do with a little less concrete and a bit more grass outside the fountain areas.Great example of a better use of the tax dollars. Only downside is the sea of (old and new) apartments all around, blocking natural view in all directions!

Bellevue City Hall stands as a symbol of modernity, blending functionality with sustainability in its innovative design. The emphasis on transparency and community engagement is evident through open spaces that encourage public participation. With its use of natural light, energy-efficient systems, and green roofs, the building exemplifies Bellevue's dedication to sustainable development. Additionally, the recent addition of Sound Transit light rail enhances accessibility to this architectural marvel.
Attended the Bellevue Fire Department award ceremony. It was a great night.

Bellevue has a FENTINAL PROBLEM. Bellevue police say they have to "see" them doing it. Well there is a 24-7 live show on PSE property next to 13668 NE Eastgate Way in Bellevue. You can see this week's collection of blackened foil in my photos. I guess the police need me to post a live feed, but I can't force them to keep their eyes open. Maybe the Mayor is willing to aknolelegde the problem so i won't need to ask the FBI to take a "closer" look at her office to discover why the problem is growing and bot shrinking. Bellevue college is 1/2 mile from here. You want graduates or more addicts? Pick one.

Super corrupt city government pretending to care about issues of race, ethnicity, and diversity (surprise! they don’t!) It only cares about putting up the facade of caring. If the city pretends to care, one day - ✨it just might care✨! The city is run by very tone-deaf directors who lack any insights on the city’s general population. The directors only care about collecting their $200k plus per year salaries associated with their bogus job titles. So glad I moved away from this city. I don’t have to deal with the stupid that the “officials” spew on the daily. Have fun rotting guys! I won’t miss you. 🥰❤️

Anne Q — Google review
Bellevue has taken a pretty hostile approach towards general walk ability. As a daily pedestrian who follows the traffic control signals and walks defensively, it is nearly a weekly occurrence where I encounter a near miss from an aggressive or distracted driver (including Bellevue police). This trend has gotten worse in the past decade. Recently, Bellevue has reduced the number of pedestrian corridors, altered the remaining corridors to be less convenient, and with the rampant construction has doubled the time to travel common routes -- including traffic control at intersections that doesn't give pedestrians a turn for 15 minutes! Nice public parks though if you can get to them safely.

The Shops At The Bravern is an elegant shopping destination inspired by European style. It features high-end retailers and restaurants, as well as valet parking for convenience. Visitors can enjoy a variety of luxury brands and upscale stores in a clean and safe environment. Additionally, the location off the interstate and proximity to other shopping areas in Bellevue make it an ideal spot for shoppers looking for premium goods.
This is a beautiful shopping center with a number of luxury stores. Parking is pretty easy, though you need to get validation for free parking. The shopping center is elegantly designed with a sense of quality. Even the washrooms are nice and clean. Bonus, it can be quiet on a weekend which makes shopping such an ease and relaxing experience. One thing I noticed is that all signs had chinese characters, so I'm assuming there's a target group here, especially with the high-end stores.

Overlake Medical Center is located in Bellevue, bordering Redmond and known for being the home of Nintendo of America and parts of Microsoft's headquarters. The neighborhood features several strip malls at its center. Patients have reported receiving exceptional care from the medical personnel, including nurses, anesthesiologists, and doctors. The staff is described as friendly, communicative, professional, and competent. Additionally, patients appreciate the compassionate and respectful care provided to individuals from out of the country.
Overlake has cared for our family in multiple emergencies, four deliveries, and a surgery. All were excellent experiences with positive outcomes. The staff and doctors are consistently friendly, compassionate and professional. My youngest daughter still refers to the ED team that cared for her by name and considers them friends (7 years later). Overlake is a special place- a community caring for their community!

On June 18th 2025, I had appointment with Dr. Amos Song, I was very satisfied with the care I received from him. He was thoughtful and did a thorough exam of my symptoms. He got my previous MRI test results and sent message with full explanation of the treatment that he recommended I have. Thank you for the great service.

What I experienced at this hospital is something I WISH was a bad dream, and not a life-changing experience! From the second the security guard left my side (I was in a wheelchair) at the place I was to have my surgery (GREAT, kind man!), through to the time I was discharged was theee most saddening, anxiety producing, and shocking experience I have ever had! Seriously lacking in any comforting, friendly, or compassionate contact by staff was ever made by ANYONE towards me. A meat packing plant is the only way I can describe this place, and my experience. I was floored when I was wheeled out of surgery as well. It's enough to come out of anesthesia, and there I was trying SO hard to wake up, getting yelled by the (male) nurse to wake up. I'd swear he was wearing boots, as I SURELY felt a boot kicking me in the A** to get out of there! A nurse should know how to be kind, and patient NO MATTER the situation. At Overlake, they have obviously become so short, and callous it's sad. Not much else to say other than I WONT go back there for ANYTHING.
Leisa F — Google review
I almost died due to negligence of the staff in Overlake hospital. I was admitted with Sepsis and extreme pain. The staff young nurses who are way under qualified and careless. Primarily the night shift. I heard a patient wailing and strange sounds. I heard the nurses talking about this patient that they will not attend they feel worried and unsafe. In my case the pumped me full with pain killer due to the extreme pain. However I needed to go to the bathroom to empty my bladder. The nurse told me that I should be fine, she saw me go to the bathroom throughout the day. I told her I only have small amounts come out not a full stream. She ignored me and walked away. I rang her again and told her of the pain in my bladder and if she does not get a a catheter I will sue her and the hospital. She said she can’t do it and has to contact the MD. It took her about 20 min to get it going. Then she attempted to insert the catheter but was not able to do it. Now 40 min later. I was in so much misery. I told her to get someone who knows how to do it. After 15 min she came with a young male nurse and he had a hard time. Since I worked in the medical field I had to instruct him how to do it. While I was in pain and my bladder nearly at exploding. Once the catheter was in it drained over 1500 ml. The nurse than said “ I guess you were full”! No apology, nothing. The room was in such bad condition it seemed it was from the 3rd world country. My room maid was often in distress and the nurses hardly checked on him, so I had to use the call button as well to direct their attention to him. After I was released I wrote the hospital administrator to complain, but she played it down that it was only about 500 ml. What can I say, many under qualified individuals who truly don’t care about patients but only about the revenue. Sad state of affairs !!! I don’t have to use vulgar language to let them know that they have no integrity and many should switch jobs. They are not compassionate people who truly look out for the well being of patients!
J S — Google review
I won’t ever be going back to Overlake, apart from a few nurses (nurse Susan) and one doctor (Dr.Lambert) who are exceptional and very kind - the staff there can be pretty heartless. I’ve suffered multiple miscarriages- and with my last, while in the ER experiencing another one I overheard one of the male doctors (Noland) bad mouthing me to some of the nurses saying “she’s probably not even pregnant.” Although I’d had previous positive lab work and positive tests. While in the ER- maybe the nurses aren’t aware but you can hear every mean, judgmental thing they say. I wouldn’t want that experience for anyone going through a loss or needing a care team. They often dismiss your symptoms, feelings, and medical history and it’s honestly an awful experience on top of the medical emergency one is dealing with.

Good hospital overall. My wife had to be admitted twice and both times we had Anji Kumar take care of her. Anji is a great nurse, she’s warm, welcoming and friendly. Anji made sure me and my wife are comfortable during both visits and I wanna thank her for taking good care of us.

Overlake medical center Labour and Delivery and Dr Paley were brilliant! He delivered my grandson yesterday! He was on call for 24 hours on Saturday and took care of my daughter from morning to evening until she delivered. I was a worried doctor parent, and he reassured me when I had concerns on the baby's CTG. He offered my daughter both options, ie she could 'get off the bus at any time' for a c section or continue to try for a natural delivery. She preferred the latter and did his best to ensure she could deliver naturally with misoprostol and pitocin induction. Dr Daniel Moy, the anesthesiologist on call for Overlake Medical Center that Saturday, blew me away! His communication skills, competency and speed at giving her an epidural were textbook stellar! I had to look him up and he did his residency at Stanford! No wonder. Erica, the LD nurse all day, was equally amazing and spent so much time with my daughter turning and positioning her, monitoring the CTG, engaging with the family like a part of the family already and helped Dr Paley deliver my grandson without having to resort to a c section. The LD night shift nurses Beth and Taryn then proceeded to take care of my grandson at birth and teach my daughter how to breastfeed. As a doctor myself and patient's mother, I highly commend Overlake medical center, the large 5 star plush delivery suite with a huge tub, their most experienced senior obstetrician at Overlake Dr Paley, their genius anesthesiologist Dr Daniel Moy, and the most caring and competent obstetric nurses Erica, Rebecca, Beth and Taryn. You can rest 100% assured your pregnant mom and her baby will be delivered safely at Overlake and with private family cover, cost is not even an issue. Tips: the L&D ward has a nourishment room for patient families to get a sandwich or drink while staying with the pregnant mum. The garage parking ticket can be validated for free parking so ask! We paid $20 for overnight parking until we figured out we could get it validated for free. Overlake has the best in room dining menu for mothers. The antibiotic free grassfed beef steak is delicious as is the pasta. The nurse's station has huge TV monitor with a the mother's live CTG tracings. Really state of the art hospital!

Absolutely! Here’s a heartfelt and polished review for Meydenbauer Bay Park based on your experience: ⸻ A Hidden Gem on the East Side – Breathtaking, Peaceful, and Perfect for All Ages Meydenbauer Bay Park is honestly one of my absolute favorite parks in the entire East Side of Washington. The lakefront views are simply stunning, framed by gorgeous multi-million dollar homes that add to the serene, upscale feel of the area. It’s a family-friendly haven, often filled with friendly ducks, children playing, and people enjoying the water. Whether you’re into paddle boarding, boating, swimming, or just relaxing by the water, the park offers a wide range of activities—complete with clean shower and bathing facilities that make it incredibly convenient. I’ve often imagined hosting a wedding or special event here because the setting is just that beautiful, though I’m not sure if it’s officially allowed. Regardless, this park holds a special place in my heart, and I will definitely be coming back again and again. It’s a true gem that offers both peaceful retreat and vibrant recreation—perfect for all ages.

We had to pay $12 for an underground parking and walk about 3 min to the center. The center is walkable from the Bellevue square mall

Wilburton Hill Park is a scenic and well-maintained outdoor area with various amenities for visitors to enjoy. Located behind the botanical gardens, the park features beautiful gardens, winding trails with benches and informative signs about wildlife, a soccer field, two baseball fields, picnic areas, an exercise area and a large playground with zip-line. The bridge over the babbling brook is particularly stunning although dogs are not allowed in the garden due to exotic plants.
This is a great park! There is something for every age, including adults. The kids can play on a train, climb a tower, ride a different kind of merry go round, and ride a pipeline. There are even real swings for big and little kids! Adults can use various exercise apparatus. There are tennis courts and very clean restrooms on the other side. And the walking path is clear and safe. Take your picnic lunch and make an afternoon of it. It will not disappoint.

A fenced in dog park is in this park by the playgrounds! Beautiful gardens and winding steady uphill inclines. The bridge is breathtaking and swings a little bit, but elevates you over a babbling brook . Dogs aren’t allowed in the botanical gardens , no exception. That’s understandable as the many exotic plants/ foliages. Benches dot the trail as signs telling of the birds and area’s landscapes. It’s a walkable trail, uphill with tree roots so rolling aids/ wheelchairs are not easily accessible but can be done. There are real restrooms and plenty of parking 🅿️ and handicapped 🅿️ and access. Picnic tables and playgrounds for big and small kids 🛝 ⚾️and ⚽️🥎fields too.. The smaller trails lead to the residential areas and offer a nice forested walk up small inclines. FYI. The dog loves the smells and meeting new friends. (2 legged and 4)

08/12/23: it is an awesome park with ample parking. The restroom is clean and regularly maintained. I see people wrote good comments about the park’s kids playground. I could not agree more. As an adult, I want to play in all the kid's playgrounds, especially the zip line but there were too many kids at the time I visited 😭. The park itself was developed and built to be connected to the Bellevue Botanical Garden. I see people trailing and running a lot through that trail. I enjoy my time here and would love to be back soon with more updates

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wilburton Hill Park is a hidden gem! This park has everything we could want for a family day out. The fully fenced dog park is a dream—safe, spacious, and perfect for letting our pup run free. The beautiful walking trails and running track wind through peaceful, scenic areas, making it just as great for a quiet stroll as it is for a good workout. Every part of this park feels thoughtful and well-maintained. We always leave feeling happy, refreshed, and already planning our next visit. Definitely one of our favorite parks in the area!

There are a lot of blueberries - they are a bit small but super sweet. The price is awesome and the farm is clean & right here in Bellevue! The staffs are kind and friendly. I come here every week and plan to do so until the season is over! The whole experience is very relaxing to me!

Blueberries were great. But check out was awful. We waited 30 minutes to weigh the bucket. There were three people, but only one person was working. Two others didn't help him. Have your own big plastic bag to put in their bucket. It will save some of your time. You also want to have your own box or container to keep your berries after you.ve collect them.

This blueberry farm is quite lovely imo (in my opinion), there is limited parking that could probably fit only about 8-10 cars. Worst case if it is very busy i suggest to park in a neighborhood near by and walk over or the parking lot across the street (idk if u rlly can). If u have 2lb or under of blueberries u still pay it even tho u have less, u can also read the sign of the photo i have at checkout. There r restricted areas that i suggest u not to go to because the blueberries there are js pale and not at all ripe. The best blueberries i picked while i have here was “zone 3”, because they r fragrant, vanilla creamy taste. All of the zones do not say what type of blueberries they r. There r also cherries, apricots, blueberries ofc, and drinks offered at a whopping $2.50 what an amazing price rlly! Overall this blueberry farm is in a nearby area, convenient, and most importantly i think that this would be a great activity for the kiddos. cs usually the farms that r relevant and r unfortunately not nearby. I hope this google review is beneficial to those that r reading it :)

This is such a beautiful green belt to take a stroll. Great little loop for running. I visited when it was closed (at around 7 in the eve in mid April) but I intended to just walk around this farm. You will not see any blueberries nor any greenery on the blueberry bushes this early. Please remain on the trails. I did see some people picnicking amidst the dormant blueberry bushes. I’m from a family of farmers & I know how much hard work and effort goes into maintaining such farms. It’s nice to be respectful of that. There’s a picturesque pond and some benches alongside this pond. Great place for birding too! Restrooms & a free parking lot available on site. Will definitely visit again.

This blueberry farm is well organized for self-picking. They will provide you a bucket and weigh the blueberries afterwards. They will have certain areas open for picking. I would recommend bringing at least 3-4 people for this activity. Parking is limited so I would start early or park nearby and walk to the farm.

If you're going up to the Virginia Mason clinic, they're working on the Rooftop parking, you need to go up the other side of the complex to get up to limited parking.
Char G — Google review
Decent mall with a couple of places I have been to or frequent. PCC is the most frequent and Target and Chipotle are the other two. Plenty of parking, especially if you're willing to use escalators, elevators or stairs. You normal don't, but gives you lots of options.
Chris M — Google review
Chipotle is one of my favorite spots to enjoy tasty food. I ordered three crisp chicken tacos. The chicken was juicy, and the taco shells were fresh and crisp. I think being able to pick your add-ons keeps me coming back. It's the best guacamole ever!
Nichelle P — Google review
Nice shopping complex that had Target on the second floor and plenty of parking spaces.
Brinda R — Google review
Kinda a cool place. Good concept. The store is like a mini Target. Don't expect much selection. Parking garage was perfect. Parking spots are good sized. One of the escalators was down...of course the down side when you'd be carrying your purchases. Store clean and bright. Self serve check out...

Great little retail space with a PCP, Target, Dave & Busters and a couple restaurants. Plenty of parking and within walking distance of more great retail shopping. Located just West and down the hill from Home Depot.
Vincent H — Google review
This Target is pretty but not well stocked. Went on 10/27 and there wasn't any Halloween stuff, but lots of Christmas. I saw many empty shelves in the women's clothing area. Possibly the first time I went to a Target and left empty handed.

Light rail station
Located in downtown Bellevue, the Spring District is a 36-acre mix-use space that offers a variety of amenities including shopping, dining, entertainment, and public transportation. Although construction began in 2013 and is expected to continue until 2028, many attractions and retail spaces are already open to the public. Once completed, it will resemble Portland's Pearl District with art galleries, restaurants, upscale stores, designer boutiques, and entertainment spaces.
When completed, there will be a truly world class light rail system in the area to compliment one of the best transit systems I've used, I haven't utilized all that many public transit systems, I admit....But of the 20 or so cities I have used I would have to say Seattle (Puget Sound Region) and Portland OR region have the best systems and nobody can currently match the workers economy of Seattle. One of a few regions on the planet that could be its own nation-state
Norm H — Google review
It's a nice mostly residential neighborhood with a few bars, coffee shops, and convenience stores.
Alan K — Google review
Sound transit should be ashamed there are zero public restrooms on their light rail system. It’s no wonder everywhere smells like urine, you have left people with no choice but to use you lr elevators and buildings as toilets. What a joke of a transit system. Shame on you.
