Bloedel Reserve is a 150-acre nature sanctuary and former estate featuring lush forests, landscaped gardens, and a serene reflection pool. The reserve includes a Japanese Garden, rhododendron glen, and native plant garden with iconic Northwest evergreens. Visitors can explore walking trails, streams, ponds, and the Bloedels' former home turned museum. The meticulously maintained botanical garden offers a peaceful alternative to Seattle's Washington Park Arboretum.
We recently visited Bloedel Reserve and had an incredible experience. The grounds are beautifully maintained, offering a peaceful mix of natural forest, curated gardens, open meadows, and water features. It’s the kind of place where you immediately slow down and take everything in. The walking paths are very accessible and well-marked, and the variety of scenery keeps the experience engaging the entire way through. One moment you’re surrounded by towering evergreens, the next you’re looking out over a reflective pond or strolling through a Japanese garden. The historic Bloedel home is an added highlight, giving a glimpse into the history behind the property. It’s a perfect outing if you’re looking for a relaxing and inspiring day on Bainbridge Island. I’d definitely recommend giving yourself a couple of hours so you can fully enjoy the slower pace here as it’s not a place to rush. Great for couples, families with older kids, or anyone who appreciates nature and thoughtful garden design. Highly recommend and we’ll absolutely be back next time we’re on the island.

Such a beautiful garden! Definitely want to come back and explore more of the gardens and land. Highly recommend if you are ever in Bainbridge, it's worth the ferry from Seattle to go over here. Just make sure to have a reservation beforehand
Kristi K — Google review
The promenade through the gardens was nice, though I would have liked the water ponds to be cleaner. I bet every season the gardens look different, and that’s part of its beauty. The grass was pretty dry throughout. I wonder if the staff is allowed to water. There was an area that was burnt down for soil management.
Carla B — Google review
Beautiful, magnificent, incredibly well-maintained. Grounds were phenomenal and I can only imagine how gorgeous it is in the spring when the rhododendrons are in bloom. Great for a stopping point on a Bainbridge excursion day, but would not pay $120 for 4 people again. We walked the whole grounds in under an hour and did not feel like the cost justified the experience.

A Magical Wedding at Bloedel Reserve I had the absolute pleasure of helping execute a flawless, beautiful wedding at Bloedel Reserve, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The garden and organic spaces surrounding the couple created the perfect backdrop for the first-ever micro wedding at this stunning venue. The serene atmosphere and natural beauty of the Reserve were all that was needed to make the day truly magical. I am deeply grateful for the incredible support and attention to detail that Sally provided throughout the planning process. Her thorough follow-through, expertise in hosting, and deep respect for preserving the pristine spaces made all the difference in creating a seamless event. Sally is not only highly knowledgeable about the venue, but she’s also an absolute joy to work with on the wedding day. Her calm demeanor and professionalism helped keep everything running smoothly, which was invaluable in bringing the couple’s vision to life. Bloedel Reserve is truly a fairytale space, and I hope to be available to host and plan more weddings there in the future. It’s one of the most magical venues I’ve had the pleasure of working with, and I can’t wait to collaborate again. Thank you to Sally and the team for supporting in making the first micro wedding an unforgettable event!

The Bloedel reserve is definitely the highlight of visiting baymbridge island. My wife and I have been members for several years. And always take people there to visit. Allow 1.5 to 2hrs hours to get a great experience. Our favorite spot was the moss garden and the reflection pool.
Sal C — Google review
Great place for families. The place is quiet and there are a lot of things to see. Plan to spend about 1.5 hours here if you're just strolling through or 2+ hours if you're stopping to take lots of pictures. It wasn't too crowded even on a weekend due to the ticket reservation system. Recommend buying your tickets a head of time!
Rex L — Google review
My wife and I went for an event and we were very pleased with the setting. There was plenty of room to sit, enjoy the music, and relax. There were food vendors for all tastes and artists showing (and selling) some pieces. I would recommend buying tickets, for entrance, in advance as the event was sold out!

The Bainbridge Island Museum of Art is a privately owned museum that offers rotating exhibits with a special focus on works by local artists. The museum features two floors of exhibition space, a cafe at the back, and a gift shop on the ground floor with lovely gift options for visitors. One exhibit showcased the internment experience of Japanese residents during WWII and was well received. Another exhibit featured the Heroes collection by Cory Bennett Anderson that covered the entire first floor.
Really nice museum. We enjoyed reading about the exhibits in here and seeing the unique pieces upstairs. The docents were nice and really knowledgeable. The outdoor area was cool spot to chill. The restaurant on the first floor was pretty good and fair priced. Parking was easy on the weekday we visited. The best part is that’s free, but they accept donations.
AR — Google review
A small museum full of art from local artist’s. Extensive gift shop and some things to look at. Overall, I spent maybe an hour checking out all the art pieces with my friend. I like how it works on a donation bases! The photo is from the last time I visited and the exhibits have changed around some! Love this place! And like how it supports local artist, which is so important for the community!
Annie T — Google review
I didn’t know what to expect from a small-town art museum, but Bainbridge Island Museum of Art was a really pleasant surprise. The space is modern, open, and free to enter — which already earns points. The exhibits focus on contemporary artists and themes like social justice, identity, and the environment. Some pieces were bold, some confusing, some really moving. There was also an interactive poster printing workshop when we visited, which made the whole experience feel alive and hands-on. It’s not a huge museum, but it packs personality. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re on the island.
Les H — Google review
This place is amazing. Everyone was so kind. This place was a true gem. It's near the water and close to the ferry. The paintings are made by local artists. You're supporting the community by going here. It was pretty quiet when I went and I was so grateful that this place was free. It has a calming atmosphere and I hope you get to visit this place.

Quaint local gallery featuring work from artists who live on the Island. This is a free exhibit with a friendly and knowledgeable staff.

I am totally gaga over this place. Each selection felt especially made for me by someone who took special interest in my enjoyment. Reserved online, so the walk from the ferry was timed perfectly. Just Wow!! 😍🤩💜

The Bainbridge Island Japanese American Exclusion Memorial is a poignant tribute to the 276 Japanese American residents who were forcibly removed from the island during World War II. Situated near the former ferry dock, this National Historic Site features a 276-foot stone and cedar story wall with the names of those affected, along with carved wooden images and origami left by visitors. The memorial offers a moving experience that serves as a reminder of this dark chapter in history and honors those whose lives were impacted.
Amazing historical monument and a grim reminder of the potential power the government has over its people. We must never allow something like this to happen again. To ANYONE in this country. Stand up for your neighbors. For your fellow citizens' rights. Don't remain silent when others spout off bigotry. 🫶
Moonbeam009 — Google review
A powerful and moving tribute to history. This memorial honors the first Japanese Americans forcibly removed from their homes during WWII, and it does so with deep respect and thoughtfulness. The design is beautiful, blending nature with history, and the personal stories engraved along the wall make it even more impactful. It’s a quiet, reflective place that reminds visitors of the importance of remembering and learning from the past. If you’re on Bainbridge Island, this is a must-visit for a meaningful experience.
Jonathan T — Google review
The Japanese American Exclusion Memorial on Bainbridge Island is a profoundly moving and sacred space that honors the sacrifices and injustices endured by the Japanese American community during World War II. This thoughtfully designed memorial serves as a powerful reminder of a dark chapter in American history when entire families were forcibly removed from their homes on Bainbridge Island and from West Coast states. The site's quiet dignity and educational displays create a contemplative atmosphere that encourages reflection and remembrance. Guided by the mission of Nidoto Nai Yoni (二度とないように) - it stands as an enduring testament to resilience and a solemn promise, "Let It Not Happen Again."
Nancy T — Google review
This place is beautiful. Hallowed ground. Sometimes we think things happen somewhere else, when it was also in our backyards. This is a must see. History is vital. We seem to continue making the same mistakes.
Ludovicus S — Google review
Very impressive, although not yet complete. A sobering reminder of the evil that the USA has done to its own citizens in the past (with lessons for today), but it was heartening to read about some of the community who stood by their friends and neighbors in various ways.
Trish M — Google review
What a memorial with great history of Japanese immigrants in this island. The admission is free. I felt more inspired and educational to keep the peace.
Brian C — Google review
What a meaningful and beautiful memorial. I was completely unaware of this event in history and it was an eye opening experience. We came in as rangers were closing up but since it's an outdoor exhibit we were able to stay. My kids learned quite a bit from this short exhibit. I loved the peaceful and serene surroundings so you could really reflect and take the time to read everything. It feels like a different time when you are at this exhibit. I hope that the visitor center gets completed. After I went home I went online to donate, and watched the video. The video really painted the full picture and it would be a great addition to the experience.

I am so glad I made a priority of stopping here while on a bike ride. It was sobering and humbling to see how horribly our nation treated people based on their race. Never again!

Fay Bainbridge Park is a 17-acre beachfront park located on the north end of Bainbridge Island, just 15 minutes from Downtown Winslow. The park offers picnic shelters, a kayak launch, and campsites with stunning views of Puget Sound, Seattle's skyline, and the Cascade Mountains.
This park is full of amenities.. camping, picnics, family gatherings, rock hounding, beach combing, sunbathing, rv, tent, and cabin camping are available here. Bathrooms and showers are available. There are play structures for kids to play on a well as volleyball. You can get your volleyball free from Sharon, the camp host. Reasonably priced sights. Some tent sights are first come, first serve. The tide comes in around 5pm and is in full high tide at 7pm. You hear the waves at night crashing into the driftwood. NO mosquitoes when we were there. Beautiful Sunsets!! I would and will Definitely stay here again. Sharon was the camp host she is a wonderful person. Very kind. Thank you for your hospitality.
Beth — Google review
My friends and I love car camping, and this was our first time staying at Fay Bainbridge Park — and we were not disappointed. The location is amazing: right on the shoreline, with beautiful views of the water and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The campsites were well laid out, and it felt safe and quiet even on a busy weekend. There was enough space between sites to feel a bit of privacy. It was listed that the park offers Wi-Fi, and there was even a sign near the restrooms with instructions on how to connect — but unfortunately, it didn’t work for me at all. Not a huge issue, but worth knowing if you were counting on it. Also, the bathrooms could’ve been a little cleaner, and there were no paper towels to dry your hands. Still, everything else was well-organized, the scenery was stunning, and we really enjoyed our stay. Definitely a great spot for an easy, scenic camping getaway.
Les H — Google review
The best place to finished the day at Bainbridge Island. Looking at the sunset while chilling and having dinner. There also an area for camping. Walking along the beach is the best. There are also the pirate ship playground for the kid. This area is suitable for the family camping, picnic and spending time together.
Melanie Y — Google review
This park is gorgeous! As a visitor from South California, this park is impressively great when it comes to viewing the coast and ocean. You also meet local residence walking their dogs around, and they’re cute—Just like what I took in one of the pictures.
VG L — Google review
The park is 5 stars and the RV parking looks amazing. My rating is based mainly on our tent camping experience. I booked our tent camping spots near the water. This means the spots are basically in the middle of the park in the open (which I did know about). The issue is that I called to try to cancel or change our sites and played phone tag a few times before giving up. When we arrived, I was hoping to move our site but there wasn’t a host on site to speak with. We just wished it was easier to actually speak with someone. If you have an RV, this is wonderful. If you’re tent camping, just be sure you’re okay with your site being in full sun and having groups celebrating all around you.
Heather R — Google review
CAMPGROUND TENT specifics: look at the campground map when you book. 36, 37, 38, and 44 are right by the rocky beach, open field, no trees for shade or separating. Great for ocean views and stargazing. But you must feel comfortable being "exposed". 41, 42, 43 same but slightly further from the beach. All are in view of all of the RV sites and day visitors. Sites 28-35 are in a private loop with trees around the edges. So most are partially shaded part of the day. ALL of these sites and beach sites require at least a few steps to 15 feet from the parking spot. So no using a car tent for example. There are 2 sites, 39 and 40 that are up the hill near the cabins and are mostly shaded, lots of trees, and cars are parked in the site (like most state campgrounds). Book both for a small group! But the walk to the beach is down a pretty short, but steep hill, if you are elderly, injured, or out of shape you may choose to drive down to the beach and back, no big deal just not as convenient as the other ones . If you have small kids you want to keep an eye on from your site, don't book these, choose the ones on the beach. And although they feel private they are at the exit to the campground, so every single car that comes in has to leave by driving by these sites. There are also lots of tent camping in the RV area. Supposedly generators must be off by 6 or 7, quiet hours start at 9. All of the other reviews give lots of great info about the other views and amenities and awesomeness, just wanted to focus on these details I didn't see yet!
A S — Google review
We wanted a quick get-away to the Sound (coming from Issaquah) and this location was great! The views, walks on the beach, and ease of convenience were just what we needed. There was an owl program where they brought in an owl and that was really cool! We also went to the Suquamish Museum which I highly recommend.

Awesome fall foliage! Battery are all rather neat to look at battery Vinton isn't totally covered in graffiti and is along the main walkway, battery thornburg is off the beaten path a bit but is the better of the two as its larger and there are still rooms you can explore

Wish they had a trail map somewhere I could find. The upper trails are nice but the lower road for the batteries is paved. The one steep trail between the upper lot and the battery road is paved but separating and sagging. Batteries are not maintained but neat. Battery Vinton is is way better shape then Battery Thornburgh.

Beautiful walking trails dogs need to be on a leash but they're allowed and no Discovery Pass needed. I walked all the way down to the beach and there's Kitsap water trail. I'll be back with my kayak

I thoroughly enjoyed my first experience there today. Lovely walk along the beach with a gorgeous sunset. There's a lot more to see than you'd expect and lots of aesthetically placed benches/seating areas along the trail to enjoy the view - and they're pretty spaced out so you can have your own little area.

Our first time exploring Bainbridge and came across this from an AI recommendation for a short and sweet coastal view idea. We did a loop from the parking lot down to the water, along the paved path, then up the far edge and back to the parking lot on a lovely trail.

Ba Sa Restaurant is a sleek Vietnamese spot located on Winslow, Bainbridge Island. The menu offers a variety of dishes including pho, noodle dishes, and braised catfish with options for vegetarians. The restaurant's ambiance features mellow golden wood and a giant painting of a catfish in the dining room, as well as a covered patio for outdoor dining.
Everything we ordered was amazing! The presentation of all dishes were beautiful and tasted just as good. We started with the spicy truffle wontons to share, which came with a really good sauce we kept to use for our entrees. I ordered the chili oil prawn noodle and loved my dish. The shrimp pieces were huge and the noodles were great! It was a beautiful day as well so we got to sit outside and enjoy the sun. Service was great and our waiter checked on us regularly. Overall it was an amazing lunch, I’d love to come back!

Really great atmosphere on the porch love the food so much. The service is really good. Five stars all the way around one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time also very accommodating for our two kids with high chairs and space to leave our stroller.
Jay C — Google review
The chili oil prawn noodles were excellent. The tempura batter of the shrimp soaked up enough of the oil to enhance it but not so much to be heavy and greasy. The flavours seemed well balanced across the noodles and shrimp. The 'White Silk' cocktail turned out to be a tasty coconut cream and lychee concoction (as advertised). Beware the path of the sun if you opt for outdoor seating at lunchtime on a sunny day.
Anthony M — Google review
This food was fire! We both ate until we were uncomfortably full because the food was so good. They have both inside seating and outside. They have space heaters outside. We got the dry aged beef pho & chili prawn noodles.
Tasha — Google review
I think this is a solid spot for some food. Everything tasted good, although I feel like the chili shrimp noodles lacked something but it still came with a lot of shrimp and everything else was good with lots of flavor. Service was fine and atmosphere was good. We would come back.

Join the waitlist an hour in advance on Yelp because this restaurant is very busy. Spicy truffle wonton: dang this is amazing! Not really spicy, but definitely has the truffle taste, and the wonton has a slightly sweet doughy taste I think that works really well with the truffle. The skin isn’t too thick either. That sauce is definitely the highlight. Short rib stir fry turmeric noodle: noodles were actually pretty decent. Short ribs are tender as well, but pretty much what you would expect. Lemongrass lamb: kinda reminds me of the Chinese cumin lamb dish. It’s very spicy, definitely pair with the side veggies and vermicelli. I think this was my least favorite among everything we got Chili prawn noodle: noodle wasn’t as good as the one in the short rib dish, but I absolutely love the prawns. It’s so crispy and perfectly seasoned Ube pana cotta: so tiny but so good. There’s chunks of Ube at the bottom an

Drinks: “White Silk” is AMMAAAZZZIIINNGGGG silky smooth and light and the fruit combination is perfect! 10/10 Appetizers: Chicken Buns have perfect balance of flavors and texture. The Truffle Jojo’s has a nice hint of truffle and goes super well with the lemongrass aioli. This sauce needs to be bottled and sold!!! 10/10 The Lemongrass Lamb is definitely a bit oily, but the flavors are really good with the vermicelli and veggies. I think charging $37 is a bit high for the price tbh 8.5/10 The star of the show is actually the dessert (noticed how they smartly put desserts menu on top of the online menu lol). That BANANA BREAD PUDDING is SOOO GOOD I’ll always come back here just for this dish!!! Our server is nice and fast. Overall excellent dining experience! Highly recommended bc we will definitely come back again next time we’re in Bainbridge 😇

Neapolitan restaurant
Restaurant
Bruciato is a minimalist locale known for its Neapolitan-style pizza, grilled Italian fare, and gelato. The large windows open into the street, creating an extension of the sidewalk on sunny days and giving it a loud and social atmosphere. The industrial feel with exposed steel beams and visible wood pile adds to the ambiance. Diners can cut their Neapolitan pizza with giant scissors, making for a unique dining experience.
Friendly wait staff and hostess far beyond what you get on the mainland. Hostess actually noticed our table was wobbly and brought a triangle wedge to fix it. Pizza was mind blowing good. Softest crust while being crispy. Might actually dethrone Serious Pie as best pizza ever. Meatballs were so tender and probably the best I’ve ever had.

Exposed wood beams, a bustling open kitchen, a wood-fired oven stacked with logs, and a long bar lined with glowing green demijohn bottles—it feels like you stepped into a Rome-meets-Portland food lab. The pizza? Easily among the best wood-fired pies I’ve ever had. Perfectly blistered crust, thoughtfully sourced toppings, and a balance of textures that speaks to craftsmanship, not just ingredients. The drinks? Extensive and well-curated. Whether you’re a cocktail nerd or prefer a simple Negroni, the bar here delivers with precision and charm. The staff? Attentive, relaxed, and genuinely passionate about what they’re serving. You feel the care. Pro Tips: • Sit at the bar if you want a front-row seat to the cocktail action. • Grab a seat near the pizza oven if you’re a sucker for food theater. • Come early or expect a wait—this place is no secret. In short: Bruciato is a destination, not a detour. Worth the ferry, the hype, and every single bite.

Was at the island for a day and stopped by for a bite. It was Friday afternoon and it was super busy but the service was impeccable, got a table within minutes of walking in and ordered 2 pizzas and got them very quickly! The staff are nice and attentive. These were the best pizzas I’ve ever had in my whole entire life 10/10 would eat again forever :)

Four of us shared two pizzas, one with prosciutto and a couple of cheeses, one with mushrooms and a couple of cheeses. (The cheeses were VERY good, but I don't remember their names.) Three of us had a drink: one wine and two ciders. The food was delicious, and the servers were attentive. I told the waiter how we had gone to a restaurant years ago that gave each table a pot of honey to dip the crusts in for dessert. He said, "We can do that." So we had honeyed crusts for dessert. I confess, I was surprised to be charged for it. I think of honey as a condiment, like sugar or ketchup. And to offer it and not warn us seemed odd. But I gave the 4 because of the price overall. Our two pizzas were $27 each. With the the drinks (and $3 for the honey!), tax, and tip, the total came to more than double the cost of the pizzas. Which blew my mind. It still does.
Janet K — Google review
Pizza overall is pretty darn good with lots of options. Unless you speak Italian, you’ll likely have to Google some of the ingredients which isn’t such a big deal. We had five different pizzas and I would say the pizzas are thin making it difficult to eat. The toppings are very good, but given how thin the cross was created, it made all of the pizzas challenging to eat so much so that we had to abandon our hands and use forks. It also seemed a bit gimmicky that they don’t cut your pizzas, but give you pizza scissors.
Keith P — Google review
Overall, it was a good dining experience here for a Wednesday night. There was no wait around 7PM for a table for 2, but a large party behind us waited over 45 minutes for a table. The pizzas we ordered were delicious and rivaled ones we have eaten in Italian pizza parlors in big cities around the world. The primary downsides here were that the service was slow, the waitress forgot to put in an appetizer we ordered, and the menu lacks more vegetarian options. Overall though, I would highly recommend this place for an Italian pizza on the Island.
Shashwat — Google review
The atmosphere and service were overall pleasant. I will say, the staff hovered too much around our table. We were trying to have a quiet dinner together and had 4+ too many "any questions about the menu?" from the various staff that stopped by. Almost like they were overstaffed or trying to hurry us along. They would also walk barely 5 or so feet away and then just kinda stare in our direction. I know it isn't that big of a restaurant, but it wasn't busy and there definitely were other, better places they could have waited. We felt nervous with how much they were just like standing and watching us. Ironically it took a long time to get our check. The food was delicious, I was impressed with the combinations of ingredients. The middle of the pizza was the best, while the crust was just much too burnt to enjoy. I mean, big splotches of pure black carbon. Maybe that is their style, but all I know is the last taste in my mouth, walking out, was charcoal stuck in my teeth.
Dallin — Google review
Hope you will like hidden fees because there’s a 5% service fee and a 7% packaging fee for takeout. Flavor is decent but the pizza is not it. Wet and sloppy in the middle, burnt charcoal bitter crust. Considering the other restaurants in the area, this one is a big miss.

Battle Point Park is a sprawling 90.3-acre park that offers a wide range of activities for visitors. The park features open space, two ponds, jogging and bicycling trails, sports fields, garden plots, and a playground. Additionally, there are amenities such as tennis courts that convert to pickleball courts, basketball courts shared with a roller hockey court, and a disc golf course.
Beautiful place to walk your dog. Beautiful open areas. Large playground for children. Made like a ferry! Fenced. Popular pickle ball courts, soccer and baseball fields. Paved trails good for a wheelchair or motorized wheelchair. A small fishing pond. Small dirt bike area. Clean and lovely park. Great day use area. Lots of parking, but it fills up quickly on nice weekends. Porta potty available, trash cans conveniently located.

We planed the trip to Bainbridge Island and spare some visit for my daughter to enjoy too. We love it. There are also a Giant Telescope from Battle Point Astronomical Association in the area that are very interesting.

This is a very nice park for soccer. It has two nice turf fields on the back of the park. There is several other options, such as walking trails in a large child playground in the center area. If you’re playing soccer, I would recommend driving around to the far end of the park and parking not where Google takes you. There’s a picture attached to show where to park.

I took a walk at Battle Point Park… Down by the water, the blossoms leaned in. The geese stood still, and I did too. I found a bench. And just breathed. The ducks drifted past like they had nowhere else to be. Trees reached for the sky, and daffodils opened toward it. The whole pond mirrored the stillness. And in the daisy field, everything felt light again.

Nice playground area for kids. Great pickleball courts (Founders Courts). There is a bandshell that has free outdoor concerts Wednesday evenings in July and August.

Fantastic 90 acres, large open grounds, ponds, a large children's play structure, soccer fields, softball fields, a picnic shelter, play areas, pea patch garden plots, tennis courts, basketball courts, a roller hockey court, pickleball, jogging/bike path, horse area, a disk golf course, and an astronomy center. Restrooms and plenty of parking.

Spacious community park with a little bit of everything, and a few things most parks don't have. The playground was under construction when I visited (early April.) The soccer/ultimate/lacrosse/etc complex is massive. They even have tennis courts with pickleball nets (small court with short nets played with paddles) and a roller hockey rink! Very eclectic. I believe the bathrooms are closed right now but there are port-o-potties on site. Olympic Otter

Mora Iced Creamery is a popular spot known for its homemade ice cream and sorbet, as well as shakes and other desserts. Located at 139 Madrone Lane just off Winslow Way East in the heart of the shopping district, it's a go-to destination for some of the best ice cream in the Puget Sound region. The place offers an array of delicious flavors, including Swiss chocolate with chocolate liqueur and hot fudge topping.
There’s a reason this place on Bainbridge is popular. Flavors are excellent and often unique. This time I put the pink grapefruit sorbet and cinnamon ice cream. A single scoop can be split with two flavors, it will run you seven dollars before tip. Plenty of places to sit inside and outside and attentive service. Amazing when you find no lines.

I recently visited this store and tried their strawberry and chocolate ice cream flavors. Both were delicious, with a smooth and creamy texture that was a real treat for my taste buds. In fact, I would argue that the ice cream at this store is on par with some of the best ice cream shops I've ever visited, like Salt and Straw. Maybe even a tad better! The seating area in front of the store was also very nice, making it a great spot to enjoy some ice cream on a sunny day. I highly recommend checking out this store if you're in the area!

Super great icecream with proper sweetness! I bought pint with mora and banana split. BANANA split is my life icecream! I am positive abut this! It has real banana flavor, and I think this beats magnolia bakery's banana pudding absolutely. I will visit here for eating this again!!! Staffs were so kind, they allowed tasing flavors. I came to the store near 2 pm, and waited 20 minutes. People were crowded.

A Must Stop Ice Cream place when in Bainbridge. This is basically the Molly Moons or Salt & Straw of Bainbridge. Amazing ice cream place. They have some really good flavors for ice creams and sorbets! We ordered their swiss chocolate (godiva chocolate with chocolate liquer) what more does one want! It was divine! One of our swiss chocolates was with hot fudge topping which was next level! They offer free tastings as well but I dont think you can go wrong with anything you order here. They also sell pints. Have ample indoor seating and some outdoor seating too. This place is centrally located from several restaurants and walkable distance from the ferry terminal too. All in all we loved our ice creams and will be back for more! Highly recommend.

Nice little icecream place on Bainbridge island. Can get a bit crowded in the evenings. We ordered multiple flavors like the brownie cheesecake, French vanilla, brownie mora etc. The flavors are average as compared to any icecream store, not any different. The best flavor was the Swiss and French vanilla combo.
Merlyn R — Google review
The best ice cream! Cheesecake with swirled raspberry was to die for! Seriously!!! The dark chocolate was good too. A cute little friendly ice cream shop. We had our dog with us, we rode over on the ferry. They had little benches and bistro tables on their sidewalk & it was lovely to hear all the birds singing. They had a few umbrellas to make shade. The other store fronts had water bowls for dogs. This is a must stop.

Excellent local ice cream shop with a great variety of ice cream and sorbet flavors. Often a long line so be prepared to wait. They no longer accept cash, so credit cards or contactless payments only.

Coffee shop
Pegasus Coffee House is a quirky waterfront spot on Bainbridge Island that has been a tradition since 1980. It's the first store of this iconic coffee company and is known for its classic European Coffee House design. The place is popular among artists, offering a gallery for local art and hosting traveling musicians and poets. While it's famous for its outstanding coffee, Pegasus also serves wine, beer, cider, light meals, soups, salads, sandwiches, and pastries.
This was the best coffee I’ve had thus far in my time in Seattle. The space was very packed when we arrived. We managed to find seats on the inside, but there are also seats on the patio too. We didn’t get any of the baked goods though they looked good! If you are a coffee person and interested in going to Bainbridge, I’d definitely make this a stop for a visit to the Seattle area.
Zack W — Google review
This review is about sustainability only! I appreciate that you offer real plates and mugs but I was sad to see barely any customers besides me using them. The “compostable” cups are nice but not when it’s all getting dumped into one trash can. Can’t get composted/break down if it’s going to a landfill. I was also sad to see the sale of plastic bottled water. By 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. Perhaps you could switch to aluminum canned water instead. TLDR: For a waterfront island cafe, I’d expect more respect for the surrounding ecosystem. You have real plates and mugs—promote them! Ask customers if they’re staying. Communicate the option on social media. If you’re a costumer reading this: ask for a “for here mug!” We all must work to alleviate the plastic pollution crisis on our hands. Thanks for considering my concerns and feedback.

This was on our list to check out in Bainbridge but we were a little disappointed. We came on a Sunday so the line took awhile which was understandable. However, the coffee was average and the hot cake (that we paid $14+ and waited 20mins for) was a goopy mess :/ The vibes in the cafe were cute tho and the baristas were very friendly!

I’m definitely coming back here! Such a cute stop on our trip to Bainbridge! Amazing ivy growing up the building mixed with the brick. Good coffee and maple donuts! Seating is minimal but we got lucky when it wasn’t busy.

Such a cute little coffee shop. Very quaint and cozy. I tried the pumpkin pie latte. One of the best lattes I’ve ever had. Wasn’t overly sweet and syrupy. You could really taste the quality. My husband had black coffee and he said that it was a very good brew. We both ordered breakfast. The food was good, not great.
Alli C — Google review
It was my first time here and unfortunately my last. Overpriced for what we received and highly disappointed. Matcha was so thick and not mixed properly, could not taste any of the flavoring as well. I seem to be missing the (THREE) cheese in my grilled three cheese panini especially for a 9.50 price tag on wonder bread and off brand three blend cheese? The veggie breakfast sandwich, the entire thing was falling apart, had a black spot on it, tasted awful so we threw our sandwiches away then left to get to get food and drinks somewhere else.

Café Hitchcock is a sleek neighborhood spot that offers house-cured meats, sausages, hearty sandwiches, and coffee. The restaurant provides a nice dining experience with upgraded facilities and a user-friendly menu. The chef sources pork from his own farm for the charcuterie plate. Additionally, there's another location nearby that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner at affordable prices with excellent egg dishes, sandwiches, soups, and salads.
Pleasantly surprised by the food quality at this cafe. I'm not one to even go to cafes for lunch but the woman who owns the shop next door recommended it, and specifically the French fries, so my friend and I decided to try it out. I honestly am not even a French fry person and these were absolutely PERFECT. The perfect amount of crispiness and softness and salt. Like, the kind of fries I wish everyone had, and places rarely do, which is why I don't get them. I would even come back here just for these fries. We also had some fall stew and a grilled cheese with tomato soup that was fabulous, but the fries stole the show😂🙌🏼 We added on to ours and got the truffle fries, which were perfectly seasoned (cause we all know you can have too much truffle). You can get plain as well if truffle isn't your thing. Go eat here for the fries and then enjoy some other incredible food too 💚

This place was great but aptly rated. Pros: - flavorful food - good Irish coffee - great atmosphere Cons: - slow service - over cooked eggs - Shakshuka should come with bread and not need to be ordered on the side - took just as long to serve the coffee as it did the food I would go again if I’m in the area but not a place I’m running back to. Over all, I wasn’t disappointed.

Lovely little spot on Bainbridge Island. I stopped in for a drink during my day on the island, and I got an Aperol Spritz. Very nice drink, good service. That one drink was about $20, though, so be aware of the prices before you order anything.

This place has good vibes and yummy food! I ordered the seasonal kombucha (rice wash kiwi) which was really good. I also ordered the garden bowl which isn’t marked as vegan, but I asked and they said it was! I was really happy with the veggies in the bowl and the flavors of everything. Could use a few more pieces of tofu but that’s ok. I would love to see a few more vegan items on the menu eventually.

Great service and the BEST grilled cheese and tomato soup I’ve ever had in my life. My husband got the fried chicken sandwich which was so crispy and juicy. Food was AMAZING!
Valerie K — Google review
My husband and I love really excellent coffee and it's HERE (unfortunately he's turned me into a coffee snob after he worked as a barista)! We wandered in here after a disappointing venture into a different shop for coffee. The breakfast food is great and fairly priced for the area, they serve Stamp Act Coffee who we'd never heard of but after inspecting the beans they had for sale we were really excited for our coffees! They also have housemade syrups and a friendly but curated shop vibe. I am usually not one to waste coffee but I literally threw out what I purchaed 20 mins prior for this place's latte and it was 100% superior! So balanced and tasty! We were sooo happy with our order. TLDR: Forget Pegasus Coffee, it is too crowded, the beans and drinks are mid, and the food is forgettable. THIS PLACE is the opposite, they serve excellent beans and truly thoughtful curated drinks and food! 10/10!

Heyday Farm is a charming family-owned farm, restaurant, and event space located on the island's south side, just a short drive from the ferry terminal. The 25-acre property has been lovingly restored to its former agricultural glory, featuring a beautifully preserved early 1900s Pederson farmhouse. Visitors can savor the farm's bounty by booking reservations for their weekly community dinners held in an exquisite garden setting.
My husband and I popped in for a Friday date night and had the best experience at Heyday! We sat at the chef's counter and got the opportunity to interact with the staff, and learn about the restaurant and their operations/sourcing. We were also treated to samples of many different dishes. Our meal, cocktails, wine and service were all amazing. The food had so much flavor and tasted so fresh. They were also generous portions. The service was stellar too. We can't wait to go back!

The service here was excellent, the food was very good, and the drinks were nice. The landscaping was just gorgeous, and the water view was beautiful (you could see boats and the Bremerton ferry). A few strange things were the cobwebs on plants, creepy bathroom chairs, and the sloppy clothing of some servers (tights with holes and grungy shoes).

Beautiful area to have an event and the staff is lovely. Just want future people to know that residents are able to hear all toasts and speeches and music. The entire community knows your business. Seabird, a seafood restaurant by Brendan McGill, has garnered attention for its ambitious approach to seafood dining. Located in what used to be McGill's Hitchcock, the restaurant offers carefully sourced seafood and introduces playful elements like a 'seacuterie' platter. After relocating to a no-reservations format in summer 2023, Seabird continues to elevate Bainbridge Island's dining scene.
Look this place was recommended to Us by the individual at high side distillery and it did not disappoint. We were very fortunate to get there during the oyster happy hour special. So we decided to get a half dozen oysters and some ceviche. The oysters were extremely fresh you could taste the quality of each type, and the difference in taste profile based on where they were caught The ceviche was extremely light and had such a tender taste in your mouth when you paired it with the oil based sauce around it. I was really impressed by the kombucha they had on tap. It paired so nicely with the different oysters and the ceviche that we got. Because we were there around 2:00 p.m. the Ambiance was extremely relaxed. You could tell that people were there to enjoy oysters, good conversation, and have a nice relaxing afternoon. Our server was extremely attentive and I was really excited when she told us her story about the other servers finding a pearl in one of the oysters Hands down I would want to come back here and do the special try different side and a little bit more of that wine

Wow! Where to start... First is the oyster happy hour. Great prices and all regional oysters from local farms. If you are there for happy hour at least a dozen is a must. From the menu we had two crudo (scallop and albacore) and each had such interesting flavors. The scallop included some vanilla in the oil that pairs perfectly, and also included sea buckthorn which was new to us but was delicious. Finally we also had the clams and muscles which were excellent but the focaccia bread was the clear winner.... The staff were very friendly and the restaurant space was very comfortable. Definitely a spot we will be returning to!

Gorgeous view on the Washington State Ferry I was enjoying my destination to Seattle on the Washington State ferry from Bainbridge Island ferry. I haven’t taken the ferry since the pandemic so it was a real treat. Unfortunately the cafe is closed and there is limited beverages to get in the vending machines. But the view is worth it I hope in the future that the cafe will reopen. They normally serve great tatter tots and sandwiches on the ferry Other than that, I love the artifacts they have here on the vessel

Ok Yes I was on Puget Sound, but nowhere near Seattle. I was fishing on Admiralty Inlet on the West side of Whidbey island up to Port Townsend. It was a stellar day even though we only caught one salmon. It was great day on the water. Pic is of my son holding his catch And of Port Townsend in the distance.

Puget Sound in Washington is a nice place to see the water. Lots of beaches to walk on around puget sound. Sometimes you can see Orca Whales in the puget sound.

Its Puget Sound which Seattle sits smack dab in the middle. Did you know the first white settlers of Seattle first named their settlement New New York? One New York was enough, two New Yorks was too much, but three New Yorks would have Judge Judy saying, “That’s outrageous!” In fact the only city with the most millionaires & billionaires within our USA is NYC, Seattle is #2. The Beattles first played in NYC, but they held fishing poles from their Seattle hotel suite window to catch salmon right there in Puget Sound. NYC has the most towering buildings in Manhatten than anywhere else, but from Seattle mountains tower over the city directly from Puget Sound & just go up as high as 14,000 feet! Thats like 10 Empire State buildings stacked on top of each other.

Don't come here. It's dark and scary, it rains almost every day. You won't see the sun for months. In the Winter the sun hardly rises and you feel like it's constantly twilight. The waters of the sound are so frigid they never warm even on a hot 80 degree day in the peak of summer. The beaches are covered in barnacle crusted rocks and jagged broken sea shells. Trust me...

Wonderful spot for lunch on Bainbridge Island. We arrived just after opening and were greeted with friendly faces. You order at the bar and find a table afterwards. We had the chowder with clams, lobster roll, and kimchi poutine. I’ve never had chowder like theirs and it was delicious! The lobster roll was refreshing and the kimchi poutine was a nice finishing snack. The outdoor patio gave us a beautiful view of the harbor and the weather was perfect.

We were pleased with the Harbour Public House. Waitress was friendly and attentive. I enjoyed the blackened wild salmon sandwich, clam chowder and my wife liked her grilled salmon.

Really neat restaurant on beautiful Bainbridge Island; birthplace of Pickleball. Its an order at the bar and come pick up your own drinks and food type of place which isn't bad just different. Food was fast and I loved the dumb waiter behind the bar to bring it up from downstairs kitchen. The oyster shooters were great I had 3. The salmon sandwich was pretty good the highlight being the Cajun tartar. I was a little disappointed in the seattle dog. Its only topping besides the obligatory cream cheese was sport peppers. I was hoping for a little more although it was juicy and large. The cod cake slider was also tasty. I wish there were other side options besides a bag of chips. The mama tried bourbon was good!

Harbour Public House was a gem of a find for dinner on the island. The Alaskan crab was unreal: fresh, tender, and buttery. The vegetarian poutine was the best comfort food! Sat out by the water, soaked in the view, and forgot about time for a minute. I'll definitely be visiting again next time I'm in Bainbridge.

Restaurant overlooks the boat docking area. We got to sit in a booth with a window that had a view of the surrounding trees and the water. It was a seat your self and order at bar. I tried the clam chowder with black mussels (not sure of the specific name) it was delicious. We also had the fried salmon and chips we rate this 10/10. Also, had the oyster shooters for $3 a piece. These were very flavorful.

We use to come here regularly when we previously lived in Seattle. Actually, we came here for the first “official” date with my husband years ago, so it’s always been a special place for us. Now that we’ve moved back to the area, we came back & its just as warm & welcoming as I remember. Great food, beer selection & a nice locals vibe with wonderful service. So happy I now live a short drive away.🤩😊

Streamliner Diner is a popular spot in the heart of town, serving as a diner during the day and transforming into an Italian bistro at night. Owned by chef Paul Mancebo, who honed his culinary skills at the Culinary Institute of America and New York City restaurants, this eatery has been an island favorite for over 22 years. The menu features delicious breakfast and brunch options such as eggs Benedict, breakfast burritos, french toast, and grilled cheese.
I had the chicken club sandwich It was one of the most delicious sandwiches I have ever had and I'm not just saying that lol. I'm not sure what they put in their hash browns but they're also very flavorful almost like a tomato also a little spicy. The servers were incredibly kind and I had a great experience can't recommend them enough

They are quite close to the ferry dock which makes it a rush spot. The service was a bit slow. We tried the chicken pesto sandwich and lox salmon eggs benedict. It was a decent portion size and tasted good. Although I’ve had better hollandaise sauce.
Sharvari T — Google review
Food was really tasty. This place nails the bacon - crispy and hot off the griddle. The French toast and the Potatoes Deluxe were our favorite things on the menu. Just like most of the reviews, we had a pretty long wait for food. Roughly 20 minutes to grab a table, but felt like nothing with shops nearby. Our food for two people took just under an hour. Not insane, but just set your expectations. The wait is the only thing thing that’s keeping this spot from getting a full 5 stars from me. Otherwise, our servers were awesome - responsive and attentive - kind and welcoming. Just don’t be in a rush to catch the ferry and you’ll have a great experience.

Fun diner stop for breakfast after we got off the ferry. Very small inside, but we got a table. The staff had great energy, loved the effort on Halloween and loved the music. Food was excellent. We ordered 3 omelets and one burrito. Large portions, fresh ingredients. Thank you for a great meal!!

This little restaurant out on the island has delicious food!! My hot chocolate and orange French toast were amazing! My daughter had a breakfast dish with hash browns and eggs and she loved it! Her partner had eggs Benedict and she also said it was wonderful! We all agreed that the food was fantastic! The only thing that was a little lacking was the service. I have to say, they were incredibly busy! Every table was occupied, inside and outside. So, it is understandable to have to wait a bit for things... But when you receive no silverware until after your food has already arrived to your table and you have to tell the service person "Ummm, we still need our silverware, we haven't been able to eat our food" and then also see the 2 tables around you (people who arrived after you did) receive their drinks while you are still waiting for your water, that's a bit much. I believe that they need to have at least one more server working, at least on the weekends when we were there. Finally, when the server did bring the silverware, they told us that the hold up for silverware and food was due to the new dishwasher falling behind... That they were young and newly hired so they were slow. It made me feel protective of this young person and feel like the server was being disingenuous for blaming their shortcomings on a new employee. I would still recommend this location based on the food alone though! A heads up they do stop seating just before 3 pm so done show up late!
Kelly V — Google review
This was our "plan B." The dinner we wanted was closed this day. Got here about 9:30ish for breakfast. I recommend earlier or later, because we seem to have hit the peak time that everyone wanted to eat. We waited about 40 min and then it took a while to get waited on. I think our order got lost, because there were people that were seated after us who got served before us. The food is very good, albeit a bit pricey, but then everything in Bainbridge is. The coffee was excellent.
David G — Google review
Took us almost 40 minutes to get our food. When it finally arrived, it was bland and tasteless. My breakfast was so bad I could only eat a small portion of it before giving up (I mean, how can you possibly ruin hash browns and eggs?), and my husband thought his meal was responsible for making him sick later. The hash browns had a odd chemical flavor and the eggs were overcooked. The prices are ridiculous for the poor quality food and slow service.
Doone505 — Google review
Absolutely loved this place. Food was excellent and some really unique menu items like the Deluxe Potatoes, pictured here. Very busy place and excellent service from Ella, Emma and Rebecca. It took a little while for our order, but that’s not a complaint, just a lot of food being freshly prepared and all fresh ingredients. We will be back.

Additionally, visitors can explore the Chief Sealth Burial Site named after the Duwamish/Suquamish leader for whom Seattle is named.
The Suquamish Museum is a gem that beautifully showcases the rich history and culture of the Suquamish Tribe. The exhibits are thoughtfully curated, offering a deep insight into the tribe’s heritage, from ancient artifacts to modern-day stories. The museum’s design is both modern and respectful, creating an immersive experience that’s both educational and engaging. So much history to learn, beautifully displayed and retold by its’ people. Quick film is super informative, as we didn’t grow up in the PNW and have little base knowledge of the Suquamish people. Likely the best museum of an indigenous nation we’ve ever visited. Restrooms and small gift shop on site. Free parking.

I am so glad we took the time to visit this small but very important and interesting museum. There is a short introductory video to step in and watch to the lay the historical background on this tribe’s experiences. One room holds the exhibit space and another holds a rotating theme. And there is a small but wonderfully curated gift shop. The outside grounds are beautifully landscaped.
Jill C — Google review

Melissa M — Google review
An insightful and beautiful museum. I learned a lot about the history of the Suquamish people and the unfortunate (but sometimes positive) interactions with colonizers. Totally worth the visit. I hope they can expand the museum in the future. The gift shop was great with lots of beautiful things designed and/or made by local tribe members. I wanted to buy everything in the store! I didn't take any pictures because I didn't want to show any disrespect.

This was truly so amazing and educational! There’s an awesome video you watch before entering the actual exhibit, and the layout and design of the whole place is beautiful. Clearly a lot of effort went into properly displaying this amazing culture. If you visit, definitely spend time reading the historical timeline of the Suquamish, it sheds light on a lot of things!

Fantastic French patisserie in Bainbridge Island. Very reasonably priced; their Paris Brest is one of the best I’ve had. Sit inside or outside patio to enjoy great coffee and pastries on a day trip excursion from Seattle.

There were four of us, but only three ordered food. Two got baguette sandwiches, and one got quiche. We all got drinks. We ate outside. The sandwiches were very, very crusty. Almost hard to bite through! The meat portions seemed a little skimpy. But the flavors were punched up with the extras, like the roasted tomatoes. The one person who got the quiche was quite happy with it. Somehow our drink orders got missed, so we had to go back inside and try again, only to be told that they had no brewed coffee available and they'd let us know when it was ready. We had to come back inside again to figure out when the coffee was finally ready. (It does seem disorganized to run out of coffee at a bakery at noon!) Meanwhile, the two of us with Hibiscus Tea and a London Fog were happy we were able to get our drinks with our food!
Janet K — Google review
The food had potential but the experience fell short. The roast beef sandwich was overpriced for what I received, only one thin slice folded in half, even though the display shows 2-3 slices. For the price, I expected more. Service was also inconsistent. My quiche wasn’t brought out as promised, and I had to go inside to ask for it. It was handed to me without a fork, and after being directed to the back of the restaurant (where there were none), I had to ask again before finally getting a plastic fork. Meanwhile, other diners outside were served on plates with silverware, while everything we ordered came in to-go containers. The atmosphere was nice, and the food tasted ok, but the portions, service, and presentation need serious improvement to match the prices. First picture is the display and second picture was my sandwich.

First time here .. wouldn’t recommend. Tried their oat milk hot latte it was bitter and sour and burnt..not my kind of coffee at all. Butter croissant was thick and hard as a rock. Overall, I was disappointed with the food here. I couldn’t finish both. The patio was great for a nice day.

Enjoy a taste of Paris 🥐 The quaint Coquette Bake Shop is a hidden gem on Bainbridge Island. It’s tucked away in the Winslow Green, which seemed like a local spot. The pastries are phenomenal. The coffee is great! The employees are friendly and helpful! What we tried: - Carrot cake: Contains walnuts , carrots, shredded carrots, raisins with a cream cheese frosting. Not too sweet. - Quiche: Ham, onions, roasted tomatoes, Flaky crust, Jarlsberg cheese - Lattes have wonderful latte art. Tastes just as good as it looks. ☕️ This place offers many savory and sweet options. If you have a chance, sit outside at one of the tables outside.

Normally, not being greeted by store staff doesn't bother me. But the person before me and everyone that entered after me were greeted and offered samples (not sure if it's because I'm a minority and brown or some other reason).I really wanted to try some fudge and purchase one, but after one the clerk was done dealing with the person in front me me, they walked away and went on their phone. Visitors can expect to experience the charm of a traditional bookstore with its old creaky wood floor and the inviting aroma of books.
Phenomenal local bookstore with an excellent variety of new books. I especially enjoy the giant "Staff Picks" wall and the corner with all of the book club reads for the current month. It's fun to see what others are reading and it makes it easy to discover hidden gems. Today there was a display of signed copies of books as well, and I was surprised to find a new book signed by Louis Sachar. Wayside Stories and Holes were big parts of my childhood so I had to pick up his new book. They also had a display celebrating Latin American authors with some Spanish language books, which I was happy to see! Of course, there are many other amazing things here, please check them out if you're in the area!

Charming book store with a curated selection from standard genres (fiction, business, spirituality etc.). It's a very nice space with wood floors and neatly organized shelves. Sakai Park is home to the marvelous troll sculpture, Pia Peacekeeper, created by Danish artist Thomas Dambo using recycled materials. The park features a nice trail, but it can get muddy on wet days. Visitors can park at the aquatic center or the school across the street. The park also boasts a tall pole with colorful birdhouses at its entrance. It's close to downtown and offers a pleasant walk around the area with various shops and restaurants to explore.
We only came here to see the Peacekeeper troll installation so we can’t really speak to the rest of the park as a whole. Overall it does look like a nice place to walk around but it doesn’t seem as though there is much in the way of parking, so keep this in mind if you are driving.
Zack W — Google review
The troll is very cool, but it annoys me a bit that it's right at the entrance. It's a little *too* easy to access and it doesn't feel like a part of the park or a reward for exploring. The park itself doesn't have much else except a pond that is hard to find a spot to look at, but it's nice. Only other complaint is that there was a homeless guy sleeping with his dog slightly hidden away in the park which was a bit unsettling, or Sakai as we now call it
Dylan L — Google review
It looks like they're improving it with more parking and 2 new tennis courts, but the park is a mess in a busy day. Trash is overflowing, there is only 1 porta-potty, and people have come from far and wide to see Pia the Peacemaker Troll. Hopefully they finish the posting lot improvements soon!
Charles G — Google review
Made entirely from recycled materials—pallets, driftwood, moss, apple branches—highlighting sustainability through art. Embodies community spirit: locals helped build, funded, and celebrated the installation . Stays on display at least 3 years, inviting visitors to reflect on cultural heritage, ecology, and stewardship . A whimsical, eco‑focused public art piece that’s easy to visit and hard to forget—perfect for a peaceful stroll or family outing.
Marta S — Google review
We took a ferry from Seattle, then drove a short distance to this park. It was easy to find. Not much here though. It's getting a bit of traffic due to one of the trolls being located here. I saw a tennis court and a few picnic tables scattered about. A few trails had nice trees and some shade. From the main road, the driveway was gravel. There was an upper, mid and lower parking area. The mid parking area, by the tennis court, had handicap parking. Porta potties are available, including one for wheelchairs. I didn't see any running water.
Elma D — Google review
This was a nice, clean park ~ lots of birdsong and space to move around on the trails. The parking lot is on the smaller side (maybe 6 spots), so one may have to wait to park to go see Pia the Peacekeeper.

Waterfront Park & City Dock, also known as Eagle Harbor, is a picturesque spot on Bainbridge Island. The park offers glassy waters perfect for kayaking, especially in the early mornings and evenings. It's home to Dave Ullens Open Water Marina with 16 buoys dedicated to liveaboards and low-income housing. The city dock is well-maintained with amenities like toilets and hot showers available for moorage users.
Had a short amazing hike up to the harbor and boat ramp at Bainsbridge. You’ll get an absolutely amazing view of the dockyard and ferry from this place and of course a short route to back to the ferry. There are seats available so you can take in the view.

There's a nice little trail along the waterfront. It's not a difficult trail. It is a relaxing and beautiful area for a quick walk. There's free parking in the area, with a two-hour parking limit. Be careful not to go over the time limit, or you'll likely get a parking ticket. It's fun to check out the ferries in the ship yard nearby.

Small park with not much to do. It offers a nice view of some boats with some benches. You can try to go closer to the water as there is a beach like area with muscles on the dock. There is also this big painted frog thats wearing a striped shirt with a scarf.

Just a little waterfront park, but it's got public restrooms.

I love taking the ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge to spend a day by the waterfront. Lots of shops nearby within walking distance. Also is walking distance from the ferry terminal. There are many quiet places where you can see the water and still be isolated as well as several trails with nice views. There is also a grassy park area that looks out over the water.

Awesome little park and trail. Come take a walk super cool for photos selfies or just some exercise. Super pet friendly they got pop bags arround the trail if u forget them at home. Right by the lake so u can literally step in if u got the right attire. You can even take a walk down the dock that doesnt get locked or closed off after a certain time.

Nice green space not far from the ferry terminal and close to downtown business. If you come to Bainbridge without a car or bike, this is a great time to kill some time and enjoy the peacefulness of the island. There are a few picnic tables, nice views, and public restrooms as well.

Great little place! The company my boyfriend works for built this park, boat ramp and bridge.

Customers appreciate the well-curated products and friendly staff who provide helpful tips and recommendations. The shop is known for its high-quality and unique items, making it a must-visit destination for those in Bainbridge.
A friends and I were in town this weekend and we stopped in on our first day. Jared was super friendly, so helpful with tips and tricks, and just a joy to chat with. We came back on Saturday and I got a delicious reed diffuser I’m smelling in my living room now. I’ll tell anyone I know visiting to stop by and find something delicious to sniff and buy! Also regretting not getting the canvas Bainbridge shopping bag. I can’t stop thinking about it!

Wonderful shop! Knowledgeable staff, full of fun facts and information! Beautifully curated collection of bath and kitchen items, candles, bags, throws etc. Picked up many items for family and friends, including a Bainbridge candle. Will be back again soon!

This is one of the cutest shops on Bainbridge. I enjoyed buying gifts here for friends and family while we lived on Bainbridge, and also purchased a few things for myself. It can be a bit pricey, but I felt the goods sold here were of high quality.

This spot reminds me of a real life version of Rose Apothecary from the show Schitt’s Creek. My family and I were visiting for the weekend and stumbled across this charming shop full of amazing fragrances and home goods. Absolutely adore the esthetics and well-curated products. The shop clerk was so friendly too and introduced us to a ton of great items. Happy to purchase from them and will be back in the future when we’re in the area again.

This is one of those delightful shops in which you always find something unique that you can not live without. I always stop in here when I'm in Bainbridge for the day, and always find something amazing. Their products are high quality and unique, and their staff clearly values each item.

Fantastic boutique with unique finds. Lots of American made and modern decor. So many cool things! Staff was great in offering suggestions to match my decor. I was so happy when I got home and put it all together.
Lizz T — Google review
Such great products, from honey to bitters, luxurious blankets, to nice and elegant cards, all higher end product but in small increments if you want just a little, thoughtful gift. Highly recommend.
Christopher — Google review
This place definitely judges you as you walk in. We walked in and there were two store employees who didn’t even acknowledge our existence. It was more of an upscale store, but that doesn’t mean I couldn’t afford what was being sold. It put a bad taste in my mouth and I had no desire to look around. I can’t stand places that think they’re above a certain crowd.

Do not know why it says Bainbridge. Take this Fast Ferry mainly from Seattle to Bremerton home during the week. Gotta love it, only takes 30 minutes compared to the Ferry at 60 minutes.

Really nice place to escape from Seattle with $8.5 round trip ferry fare, 35 minutes on the ferry and 8 minutes walk to downtown. You will find many kind of restaurants here, very peaceful and quiet place with delicious foods. On the ferry back to Seattle at night, you will find the most beautiful view of Seattle from the river. Remember to bring your jacket, it is really cold at night.

Pleasant excursion from Seattle. Ferry ride from Pier 52 is part of the experience. Walked thru 'downtown' - about 3 blocks of shops & restaurants - then took the ferry back. Enjoyable way to spend 3-4 hours.

RON T — Google review
Total nightmare of a day out in Bainbridge, we took the ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge, arrived at the ferry terminal at 11, didn’t arrive at Bainbridge until 2, tried to find somewhere for lunch and everywhere was either a 90 minute wait, didn’t allow kids, didn’t allow dogs or both. We had to head out of town to get lunch and went to a brewery that had terrible beer and food, we decided to leave and get off the island ASAP, got to the ferry terminal and then had to wait another 2 hours to get off, all of this was $45 on the ferry for the privilege. Bainbridge itself isn’t all that nice compared to islands like Whidbey, the only highlight being the Bloedel Reserve, but even this is incredibly snobby despite being beautiful. Overall avoid Bainbridge unless you are driving through en route to somewhere else.
