Very expensive but great experience. Food was amazing and it was very fresh. I especially recommend the hot apple crisp which was even better than I expected. Service was great too, refilled our drinks often and checked in a lot. Atmosphere could’ve been better though, pretty loud and there was a 22 person group… But overall, if you want a big meal and celebrate something and still don’t mind the price then I recommend coming here.

By far the best service I've had at any restaurant. I mean, I wouldn't get halfway through a drink before a refill would arrive. The perfect amount of attentive without being overbearing. The food was okay besides the amazing garlic bread. Id give it another try just for the service alone.

Absolutely no complaints about this dining spot. From the menu to the atmosphere, it’s hard to find anything that doesn’t make you feel satisfied with your eating experience. The decor is simple and tasteful, and the restaurant is clean. We visited Pesto’s in 2016, returning because we were so pleased last time. We were again served with the best food and pizza on the island. We started with the Korean cream cheese garlic bread. It was pillowy and creamy, and sinful. Enough to give a good few bites to 4 people, but we wouldn’t have complained if the appetizer was double its size. (Ha ha!) For the entrees, my husband and I shared (fought over) the Thai chili shrimp and Luau pizzas. Both were so delicious! We also recommend the Greek pizza, which is loaded with fresh bites of vegetables and cheese. Our daughter tried the shrimp scampi and gave it a 5/5 (which is saying A-LOT)! Whatever you order, however, will undoubtedly be good, as will be the service you receive. Chefs kiss.

Had 5pm Saturday reservations and there was no wait for my family of 4. Free parking was easy to find in the parking lot infront. The server was so nice and on it, food came out fast and DELICIOUS!! The freshly made custom topping salami and pepperoni pizza was so good (my kids favorite)! The seafood risotto was perfect and the desserts were the icing on the cake. The creme brulee had that nice caramel crunch on the top and creamy inside with a side of pineapple and their daily dessert special Triple chocolate mousse with raspberry sauce was so soft, chocolatey and just melts in your mouth. We had an amazing experience at Cafe Pesto and will definitely be back on our next trip.

I live in Hilo and wanted to take my boss out for her Birthday! We made last minute reservations and although they were really busy they sat us at a nice table. Our server was very attentive and friendly . Food was delicious and they even brought out her desert with a candle and sang Happy Birthday! Thank you Pestos for making this a great experience for us!

What a great surprise and wonderful dining experience. The staff is friendly, the food delicious, and there was no wait when we went (around 2:30). We had the risotto and a sandwich and both of us agreed it was easily some of the best food we had on the island. Highly recommend giving it a try if you are in the area.

Super cute place. The food is interesting and delicious. The drinks are right on. Enjoy! We went with the coconut calamari, barn mi, risottos and pasta. Awesome.

We went there twice. The food was ok but the waitresses and hostess were super friendly. We ordered pancakes and oxtail stew the first day and more pancakes and oxtail soup the next day. The pancakes had good taste but they were a little dry but I guess that’s good for soaking up syrup. Pro tip: ask for one of each pancake (coconut, Mac nut, banana) if you want to try them all—we liked the Mac nut the best. The oxtail stew and soup were ok, but not amazing.

Wow! Even the non-Sumo portions are huge! Two of us split three pancakes and an original loco moco. The waitress let us split to get one of each pancake - mac nut, coconut, and banana. All three were good but I think mac but and banana were the best. The three syrups just made it all even better. The loco moco was great, our first one. The waitress recommended extra gravy and that was a great move. The Vietnamese iced coffee was all right. Just a great diner overall. It's fun to see all the photos of people that finished a sumo plate. Everyone that worked here was friendly.

Loved this place, probably my favorite one in Hilo! The people are very kind, the food is great, and it’s just very comfortable and clean. I went there for lunch and dinner in one day. The pancakes are good but the meat and ribs are better. The price is good too. Would definitely come back if I visit Hilo again.

Chandra was such a cute, genuine server! The crab cakes & the pancakes with the homemade syrups were excellent! We also realllly enjoyed the bread pudding for dessert! 😋 100% recommend

This place is one of my favorites on the island. Long hours, many options for food and great service—what is there not to love? Food is far above average with reasonable prices. It is HOT inside, but I would return to Ken’s without hesitation the next time that I am on the island. PARKING & AMBIENCE: Lots of parking and seating, with an old school diner vibe. There is not AC so it can get a bit warm, but there are fans and windows. In hindsight, I would elect for a beer at the outset. FOOD: Everything was enjoyable. The lap chung omelette was shockingly great. The eggs was very tender for an omelette, and I can be rather picky with overcooked omelettes and scrambled eggs. The wonton saimin was massive with a generous portion of meat. The broth was great. The wontons were a bit undercooked and not good. I would suggest the regular saimin noodles. Oxtail stew was around $32 and was the most exciting order. It came with two oxtails and was coated in a black pepper style sauce, resembling some chinese dishes. Came with a massive portion of fries, which are always welcome. I would skip it if you are not persuaded by the price/aesthetics.

Spent the day in Hilo and every place I searched said to eat here. We were not disappointed! Fast service and authentic dining. This open air restaurant served the best breakfast. The prices are exactly what you would expect for a vacation island. Would def go here again!

Awesome diner with great service. Food is great too however my rice was cold. Prices are expensive but you can make two meals out of one.

Restaurant close to hotel on water. We were seated immediately. The server was attentive, and we ordered drinks. A few minutes later, drinks arrived. We ordered the cheeseburger with bacon, medium rare with crispy fries. The burger arrived 5 minutes later. It was on the rare side, and the fries were not crispy as ordered. The burger had good taste otherwise. Good views from this clean restaurant. Prices are at market for Hilo.

This has been my favorite restaurant in Hilo for years. We’ve celebrated many holidays and special occasions here, and the service is always excellent. The food overall is GREAT—but I have to be honest about the last sushi experience. Since their amazing sushi chef retired, things have changed. They stopped serving sushi for a while, and when it finally came back, I was excited—until I tried it. For $20 a roll, it was mostly rice with barely any fish. Honestly, I could get better sushi at the grocery store for half the price.

Tasty dishes expertly prepared, locally sourced. Friendly staff, lovely views, relaxing atmosphere.

The view of the bay from the outside seating is priceless. The service was good. The decor is upscale. The food was flavorful. I can only image the night views from the restaurant spectacular. The views and location are worth the price.

You can't go wrong with the Hilo Bay Cafe. The food is soooooo tasty, the atmosphere is beautiful (reserve a table on the patio), and the service is stellar. I will be back here again. It's AMAZING!!

Food: very fresh and reasonable price! The rice ratio is relatively high but their poke can make you finish it for sure. They offer many options from fish to octopus to scallop. Definitely recommend something with shoyu or spicy shoyu. Getting just poke is also more recommended! Service: very patient with tourists like us who can’t decide right away and friendly to recommend flavors and explain their menu. Ambiance: casual. You only get a few white benches outside so takeout is the most recommended option.

05/02/2025 (Fri) We stopped by after the beach, excited to try some fresh poke. We had the Ahi Sesame Shoyu and Ahi Spicy Oyster bowls. While the variety of poke options was impressive, you can only choose either one type or two types per bowl—one type for $15.50 or two types for $18.50. There are no combo meals with side poke, and pricing is market-based, so we couldn't know the total cost in advance.🐟 There’s no seating inside, and the picnic tables next door belong to another establishment, so we ended up eating on a bench outside the shop. The rice was surprisingly firm—perhaps intentionally so, to avoid overpowering the poke’s flavor—but it was a bit too hard for our taste. The seasoning on the poke was lighter than expected, and since no sauce was added to the rice, we found ourselves eating plain white rice at the end. Looking back, we realized that ordering two ahi-based pokes wasn’t the best choice. The flavors were too similar, and we got tired of the taste halfway through. So maybe it was just our selection or personal preference. Still, even with the friendly staff, we don’t think we’d come back to try other options.🤔

There are 2 eateries in this building: the Siusan Fish Market and Wailoa Grill right next to it on the other side of the building. Both are casual places for some of the freshest and tastiest seafood on the Big Island. Suisan Fish Market is great for poke and fresh fish while Wailoa Grill offers excellent seafood plate lunches. Go for the daily special and the ahi katsu if you see those on the menu. Best ahi katsu I’ve had-very crunchy light batter and super fresh juicy ahi.

All the poke choices here are Delicious! Both of my partner and my personal favorite is the ahi hurricane. The tako kimchi was different because I've never had kimchi poke before but that was pretty awesome if you like Kimchi. I personally love wasabi and salmon so I really the combo they have there as well. The first day, I got the poke nachos which had a base layer of super crispy wonton chips. They are so freaking crispy and delicious if you are a crunchy fan like me. The second day we went, we just got a few 1/4 lbs of a few variety of poke and then got some rice on the side.

Amazing market. High quality seafood! The staff is extraordinary friendly. We loved to get samples with a honest advice before purchasing it.

I really enjoyed their poke and atmosphere. They had a BOGO special today for Ahi poke. Buy one pound, get one free. I wish I lived in Hilo, otherwise I would have done it! Driving back to Kona with 2 pounds of poke or eating it for 2 days while on a trip seems like madness. The sesame shoyu and spicy Ahi were good! Unfortunately (blessing in disguise) that they ran out of rice at 2pm today so I got salad instead. Skipping rice for lunch was actually good for me because we ate again shortly after. The staff were really friendly and I got the feeling they they enjoyed working there. I’d go there often if I lived in Hilo.

This was our favorite restaurant on the island! We tried the Smokey sashimi, sizzling poke, and Portuguese sausage pasta. Everything was delicious, but the pasta really exceeded expectations! Service was great and efficient too! Recommend calling ahead to make a reservation.

Moon & Turtle is a food heaven. The menu is reasonably short yet innovative and inclusive. The dishes are delicious, full of flavours yet perfectly balanced. It’s wrapped in intimate and friendly atmosphere of boutique restaurant, yet you feel like eating at home. Highlight of our visit to the island. Mahalo !

Everything at this restaurant comes from the big island of Hawaii! I have been here more times than I can count and have never had anything that tasted short of amazing! Every time someone visits me in Hilo, I have to take them here. Make sure to make a reservation before you go! It's a small restaurant and seating is limited.

It was my first time to this spot last weekend while I was visiting my ohana. My sister surprised me with reservations on a Friday night. I'm an world traveling foodie, I love to dine out, eat well and be doted on. So I'm not easily impressed. This placed rocked. From the quaint vintage Hilo atmosphere to the warm patient staff, and down to the epic dishes offered, my mind is blown. Check it out, probably the best spot in Hilo.

Absolutely incredible dining experience at Moon and Turtle in Hilo! Every single dish was insanely delicious — bursting with flavor and clearly made with so much care and creativity. The staff was exceptionally warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Each plate not only met our expectations — it exceeded them by a hundred times. If you’re visiting Hilo, this place is an absolute must. Can’t wait to come back!

Self serve restaurant to try local Hawaiian cuisine - loco moco - rice topped with gravy, choice of protein and eggs. Try the cascaron - coconut mochi donut. It’s not too sweet but with a good filling of coconut mochi

This downtown Hilo classic has been around for a reason! Local grinds done well and home of the original loco Moco! The braised beef and noodles, wow. The miso mahi is huge and delicious. Grab some food and hang out or go to the park. Daily specials and quick service also 🤙

I ordered the beef stew plate, and it was really good, even though it doesn’t look great. I thought the Mac salad was only okay. The service was friendly and pretty fast.

Hekka disappointed. I ordered the Hekka chicken. The other picture had green onions and glass noodles. Mine had neither. And the chicken was dry.

Great food, fast service..tons of food with the super loco moco, this kept me fueled all day on a hike in Volcanos National Park. Just an FYI this is covered outdoor seating and no restrooms on site.

One of the most delicious food we had in the big island! The place is small and does not provide good dinning atmosphere. But all the points go to the food. The bbq plate and lau lau were super good, and very large portion, definitely worth the price!

Poke was so fresh and tasty — my favorite poke on the big island after trying a lot of places! We ordered and walked across the street to enjoy our bowl on the beach. Ended up ordering a second bowl to go because it was so good. We can’t wait to be back!

By far the most incredible musubi and poke bowls I've ever had! The variety in flavors and textures in the bowl was amazing and I savored every bite. For such an unassuming place on the outside, the food was absolutely incredible.

The best poke I have had on big island so far (IMO - much better and cheaper than Da Poke Shack in Kona). Had the Everyday Joe bowl and it was delicious! All the elements in the bowl went together perfectly. This is strictly takeout but there is one bench you can snag if lucky. Staff were also super nice. Will definitely revisit this place before I leave!

Yes yes and yes. Everything one could want from a local market. Many many options all fresh genuine and local. Mangosteen, 🍯 honey, ☕️ coffee, 🥥 coconuts, 🍫 chocolates, rare fruits and vegetables they have it all. Also an AWESOME, craft and artist, creators market in tandem next door.

Had a great time exploring this little gem. Met some very cool artist and conscientious eco friendly minded advocates. A great visit to support the local vendors.

Visited on the big Wednesday Market. Overwhelming array of fresh fruits and vegetables, with a lot of items I have never seen before. Very friendly vendors and lots of handmade craft items. Highly recommended. There was even live music that realy sets the mood. Great location and plenty of free parking.

Our trustworthy driver brought us safely from Kona all the way to Hilo for our fun-filled day of sightseeing, and she wanted to check this place out and hopefully purchase stuff. ATMOSPHERE: The market is spread out over gravel lots in downtown Hilo under pop up tents, across the street from Mooheau Park. Parking is all street, or on a small gravel lot off of Beckley Street. There was also a small eatery within the grounds with outdoor seating full of people, but I didn't check it out. THE MARKET: Because we came on a Sunday at around 2pm, only 1 tent was occupied, and not even 50% at that. We were told the more bustling days were on the weekdays and Saturday. The maybe 10 or so vendors there were selling almost similar products, including vegetables, fruits, and crafts. One particular fruit that caught my eye was called "rambutan" which has a unique exterior similar to a protea flower, with the inside fruit tasting similar to a lychee but not as sweet, or so I was told. I was hoping to find fresh gandule beans in the pod but no one was selling them. My friend on the other hand, found fresh pohole ferns that were even cheaper than on Maui where we live. She lugged them back on the plane and eventually made her infamous pohole salad.

This market has a tonne of great vendors! It’s mostly fruit and jewelry. I wish that the vendors were set up in time though, as it was listed to start at 7am but didn’t actually start until after 9am. That’s my only complaint. Otherwise it was great!

Love this place when we visit the Big Island we go to Hilo and visit the farmers market there gret papayas the best taste in the world also we eat at Pineapple restaurant is a local restaurant with craft beer and great food.

Wednesday and Saturday are the best days of the week to go. Those 2 days each week have the most vendors. It's the best place to shop! Lots of bargains!! They even have the best shaved ice! All natural! It's called Kulas!

Loved this local style cafe. Portion sizes here are gargantuan. Think hulk size pancakes. Hey be happy or hungry. We were a bit nervous about ordering breakfast items seeing how big the portions were so we opted to try some lunch items. The grilled cheese and our garlic shrimp poke bowl were great. Highly recommend the grilled cheese it was toasted with a brioche Japanese like bun just wonderful. Service was friendly and welcoming.

Extremely generous portion sizes that still deliver the taste you want! Our waitress was extremely friendly and happy to answer any of our questions. You can tell the place offers amazing grindz and vibes when there was already a line forming outside before they opened.

Omg, the Korean fried chicken was so damn yummy!! I also had the chicken katsu - the chicken and gravy tasted super delicious! The waiters helped us to pack our food quickly since we had an appointment nearby. They served our food quickly. Wasn’t very crowded when we went around 5pm - got a seat immediately.

Brunches here since the one in Waimea was too busy. Short wait. Kalua hash with taters n eggs plus pancakes and the $9 sausage proved to be more than enough food for two guys. Photo shows half.

Was underwhelming. I guess I expected more for a 4.5 star restaurant. Decent but blah if that makes sense. Waitress asked for orders to be repeated multiple times to confirm then food came out wrong and she argued it was correct... never refilled drinks without us having to chase someone down. Not the worst just not worth the hype.

Ponds has a beautiful view of the waterfront. We saw a turtle as well. Food was good and arrived fairly quickly. Highly recommend the crab cakes, taste and quantity was great! Fried calamari was good. The fried fish was okay, could have been more flavorful. The mashed potato was a little bland too. But the views were great and we had a good time!

THIS PLACE WAS WONDERFUL. Took my partner there for an anniversary date and had a wonderful time. The fish and chips and crab were amazing. Our waitress was very kind and patient all the service there was quick and fast! Over a 10 out of 10 date night spot.

I ordered two appetizers, the crab and spinach dip and the steak with pineapple. Both were amazing, server was super attentive, the environment is perfect. They also let us feed the fish!

What a lovely place! Awesome ambiance and delicious food. They were very accommodating of my kids, too — they were able to make them something a bit off menu and gave them food to feed the koi. The live music was a nice touch. Really liked the Mac nut pesto!

A Very Pleasant Lunch Ponds is a no nonsense eatery with a rustic dining room, great views and very good food. My one complaint is that the information on their website is several years old, and many of the items we were interested in were no longer available and prices were considerably higher than expected. That said, I still recommend Ponds. The Beer was about as cold as it could be without being frozen. The Crab Dip was especially good. The Calamari was nothing special, but good enough. The star of the meal was the Mango Cheesecake - simply the best we have ever tasted. Give Ponds a try - I think you will be glad you did.

What a pleasant evening. We made a reservation and got a window table overlooking the koi pond. Did not have an issue with mosquitos. The food was delicious and the music soft and delightful. The performer sang beautifully. The crab dip was amazing! Very rich and indulgent. And the crab was not overpowered by the cheese. We got the Friday night special: Prime Rib & Lobster. Indulgent but a very Good deal. Hubby had the Teri-steak sizzling platter. Meat was so tender. They had him at pineapple. Got bread pudding for dessert! So good! Flavorful & moist!

From across Reeds Bay, the restaurant exterior exudes old Hawaii, and you get the same sense when you walk into the main dining room. We were taken to the other dining space to the left, which also overlooked the bay, which is a serene, calm portion of Hilo Bay just west of the Port. We walked over from our hotel, but there seemed to ample parking in their lot and surrounding street parking. It seemed to be a quiet Monday night for the restaurant, save for the exuberant birthday crowd in the main room. Live entertainment in the form of a solo singer was installed in the main room, so if you prefer a quieter ambiance (although the music was quite mellow), ask for the other dining room. Our server was quick and friendly, not batting an eye when taking my dinner order - appetizer and a dessert, to be brought out simultaneously if possible. Hubby was pleased at the selection of craft beer on tap, and loved his Furikake Seared Ahi Ceasar Salad, commenting on how fresh the fish tasted. I was a little disappointed that the Hot Crab and Spinach Dip featured fake crab, and the creme brulee was your standard creme brulee, but nothing to complain about.

I had a fantastic dining experience at Jackie Rey’s Hilo, located in the historic part of Hilo and just a short distance from the waterfront! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance struck a wonderful balance between elegance and comfort, creating a refined dining atmosphere without any stuffiness. It is in an old bank and vault remains. The cocktails were a highlight—creative and delicious, each one perfectly complementing our meal. I ordered the steak, which was incredible and perfectly prepared to my liking; it was tender and packed with flavor. The salads were also fantastic, fresh and vibrant, showcasing high-quality ingredients. The burgers that went by us looking amazing! The quality of the food was exceptional, and I was pleasantly surprised by the great prices for such high standards. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff who made us feel welcomed and valued throughout our visit. Plus, street parking was easy to find. I highly recommend Jackie Rey’s Hilo for anyone looking for a memorable meal in a beautiful setting!

Nice upscale dining in Hilo. The service was great, attentive and knowledgeable and very patient with us. Food was good but not the most memorable meal of our trip. My husband got the seafood plate and enjoyed it. The menu is limited, so if you like a broad selection it may not be for you. However, the choices available all sounded like good options. We made a reservation in advance and they seated us about ten minutes early when we arrived.

Excellent food and service with unique drinks. Beautifully plated dishes. They can accommodate gluten free for several items. Most dishes made with seed oil, but they were able to reduce it for some items. Glad we found this place on our visit to Hilo. Small parking lot across the street is free for 2 hours or find street parking.

Our family came to Jackie Ray’s for lunch and early happy hour and we’re pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the fresh catch sandwich which was cooked perfectly and flavorful. Our kids enjoyed cheeseburgers while my wife enjoyed the crabcakes. Overall, I recommend however the service was a bit slow at times despite the restaurant not being very busy. Our experience may server specific.

The surf and turf was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly and the pupu plater was spot on. If you make it out to Hilo,HI. Try this gem out. Everything about this place was so beautiful. Service with a smile.

We had a special evening yesterday. The service was very friendly, and the food was not only delicious but also incredibly presented. And dessert was a lovely way to end the day. I recommend making a reservation in advance because it was crowded and we had to wait for a table – but luckily, we managed. The only downside is that the restaurant closes after 8:30 pm. A place like this should be open until at least 10 pm.

Delicious food and the atmosphere was upscale. Unique building, seemed to be an old bank. Fish tacos were overflowing with fish; would have liked more seasoning on the fish and more of the pineapple salsa on top. Burger was cooked perfectly; an aoli or mayonnaise would have added some flavor. Highly recommend the chiffon cake; perfectly moist and not overly sweet.

Like many others that dined here, we were referred here by Paul’s Place when they were full. We had the Bacon and Cheese Croissant as well as a Vegetarian Quiche, and they were nicely heated up and crispy before they were served. It’s really good and well deserving of a 5 ⭐️! The latte was smooth and temperature well controlled (not scalding hot) which is a plus. Thank you Paul Place’s for the recommendation!

Food is decent, but we got here around 11 on a Friday and they were basically out of savory foods other than a BLT and three quiches, all of which were already somewhat stale. Seating indoors has fans, but it was only marginally better than just sweltering outside - I never stopped sweating. To top it off, they have a total of six seats. All of this makes sense and has good reasons (small shop, high electricity rates, etc.) but that doesn't change the experience.

This is the most impressive cafe in Hilo, and has some of the best cakes and baked goods I’ve had. Everything we tried was outstanding. Favorites were the raspberry bar and vanilla cake. Highly recommended.

We had the best Bacon and Egg Croissants we have ever tasted. So fluffy, we thought we were sitting by the Seine.

Hands down, my favorite and the BEST bakery in Hilo if not all of Hawaii! Jackie is fantastic in her craft and always creates edible masterpieces. I would go to Moonstruck with my husband almost every Saturday for a morning brunch and order her unique cakes or baked goods with coffee, each time consistently delicious. My personal favorites are Citrus Serenade, Almond Teres (She made a whole sheet of this for my wedding cake) and Frangipane (Almond) Croissant. You can't go wrong stopping by here and getting a small treat for yourself, or in my case, a full brunch assortment of what she has to offer that day (her cakes are seasonal depending on the ingredients availability)

A hidden gem in Hilo. We had pear tart and frangipane Croissant, both were top notch. We can tell the owner/baker really cared about her baking and customers. Make sure to stop by when you are in Hilo. You will not be disappointed.

Lovely, lovely vegan and gluten free restaurant. Very happy to find this gem on the island! Fresh ingredients, locally sourced, and the cafe has a positive energy. Portion sizes are large and generous; honestly, I would have paid the same price for half a sandwich and the soup.

If you are vegan or not, you have to try their food, especially desserts. so delicious and fresh. If you are on the island, must try their food on or out of your way to volcano national park. Hopefully they will be in business when I return after few years. This cafe would be one of my reasons to visit big island.

The place itself is really nice and the menu offers plenty of healthy yet tasty choices. Everything is fully vegetarian and most dishes can also be made vegan, which is a big plus. Unfortunately, we were a bit unlucky with our picks. We ordered the avocado toast, which turned out to be just one slice of bread topped with avocado and some seeds. It felt quite small and underwhelming, especially since most places usually serve two slices. A few sprouts or something extra on top would have made it more interesting. We also tried the açaí bowl. The menu mentioned blueberry and strawberry but instead of being served in pieces or slices like the banana, they were blended into the açaí itself. The result was pretty uneventful and honestly we’ve had better açaí bowls elsewhere on the island.

Cute little café with a good selection for vegetarians. I tried the Chickpea Burger and the Ulu Burger, the Ulu Burger was enjoyable, while the Chickpea Burger could use a bit more flavor. The sourdough toast was fine as well. Overall, a nice spot to try at least once, especially if you’re looking for vegetarian-friendly options.

I would give 10 stars if I could. Super fresh food. Lots of gluten free and dairy free options. The cassava pizza is a MUST try. Beautiful spacious seating inside and out.

This is a gem in Hilo! our family stopped here to eat before heading to the airport and what a great decision. Everything we had was tasty. For the record we are MEAT eaters and don't plan to make a lifestyle change anytime soon and I would choose to eat here ANY day of the week. Staff was friendly and quick. prices are a bit expensive but the food tastes so good and fresh you understand why it's at that price point. We had the soup, salad, burgers, smoothies, fresh juices, sandwiches, cakes and a couple assorted desserts. We ate ALOT and finished everything. Thank You Sweet Cane! We hope to visit again!

The food is alright. We ordered the Sautéed mushrooms appetizer to share and I got the ahi with eggplant.

Decent but not as good as I expected. Luckily there wasn’t a wait when we arrived. The hosts brought us to our table immediately. It took a while for our server to get to us (seemed understaffed) but she was really nice. We ordered the fries, ribeye steak with shrimp tempura & 2 bent box. The food was tasty unfortunately the tempura was soggy.

The food is excellent here and so is service. Shrimp tempura was melt in your mouth, goodness! The vegetable tempura was cooked to perfection. I enjoyed eating the sashimi. The food presentation is also good, as shown in the pictures below. It was very busy around 7 pm, almost no tables were available. Reservations are important to avoid any waiting. I definitely recommend this restaurant for excellent seafood and steak.

This was a great find for us. The sashimi was fresh, tempura the perfect thickness, and the mushrooms were full of flavor, tender, and melt in your mouth. A great selection of sake and my mai tai was so yummy.

Ah! Came here for lunch with my partner and it was so so good! They don't even offer fork and knife (you have to ask for them i think), because they gave us chopsticks! That was a first for me and it shows how authentic and good this food is! 😋

Hmm. I really wanted to like this place. Menu sounded cool, like an upscale izakaya. Cocktails were pretty good, service was OK given all the tables were full. Then the food came and it was so disappointing. Freezer aisle scallops followed by entrees smothered in sauce when they should not be, served in these trough-like plates. Everything was overly rich yet bland. After a while hunting for bits of overcooked zucchini in the sludge and hearing our neighbors make the same complaints I decided to write a review. Please knock it off with the sauces or at least don't charge fine dining prices for it.

10/14/2024 Izakaya Miyo 564 Hinano St Hilo, HI 96720 I went here for a late lunch on a Monday. I waited at the outside podium to be seated and had a short wait while my table was prepared. It's mostly a table and chair setup with a long bench at the far wall. Many of the tables had used service items, so it looks like this place gets busy. Wait service was friendly and helpful. I had the lunch sized broiled Saba and cold tofu, which came with a green salad and rice. The miso soup had good flavor and some cubes of tofu and kombu slices. The rice was dry and hard, what my Japanese mother called poroporo, which can't be used to make sushi because it's not sticky. The Saba consisted of three dainty fillets and maybe I should have had the regular for$7 more? The fish was juicy and mainly bone free. The meal was okay spoiled by the rice and the portions made it a not so good value. No repeat for me.

We had a great experience at Kuhio Grille. Fried rice was delicious. Mushroom bacon cheeseburger was also really good. Definitely enjoyed the laulau, delicious Hawaiian food. The peach bread pudding was really good with hot melted butter. Definitely worth visiting this restaurant when staying in Hilo.

We were staying in Kona but shot it over to Hilo to visit friends, have lunch, then check out the volcano before heading back to Kona to catch the Walking Dead premier in our hotel room. Really. Having never eaten in Hilo, I left it up to my friends to choose as the Yelp reviews are pretty plentiful and above average for a sleepy little town. ATMOSPHERE: They're part of the Prince Kuhio Plaza but in a separate strip mall type of building near Starbucks. The inside is simple, with a mixture of booths and tables, and one hell of a ceramic lucky cat collection behind the cashier area. MENU: Breakfast, saimin, noodles, local plate lunches, seafood, Hawaiian food, salads, sandwiches, burgers. FOOD: Super Loco It's a huge portion. Out came a saimin bowl with 3 scoops of flattened rice at the bottom, topped with 2 good sized hamburger patties, 2 eggs, covered in brown gravy, with a side of macaroni salad. I couldn't tell if the patties were fresh or frozen, but they definitely weren't seasoned at all. You'd think the gravy would make up for it, but it too was super weak in the flavor department, so this dish was very disappointing. The macaroni salad was pretty good. SERVICE: We walked in and got seated immediately. It seems like the booths are the preferred seats as some peeps waited for one to open rather than take an open table. Irene was our server. Super friendly, smiley, down to earth, totally local. She checked on us often like we were her own nieces and nephews! OVERALL: I probably just tried the wrong thing dish. Maybe its something they're not known for, who knows. My friends seemed to have enjoyed their Hawaiian plates though. Pass for me.

Fabulous Lau Lau, these 1 pounder packed with meat. A little fat to render the taro leaves moist. Compared to store bought Lau Lau, the fat is 1/3 the size. Nice friendly diner atmosphere. Great pistachio cake and thick pieces of chicken katsu

Food is mid at best. Mac salad was warm. Overall, not a lot of flavor. Service was friendly and prompt. Nice view from back windows.

This was my 2nd option because the other place had a 30 min wait. The loco moco was more jelly than I’d like. But my gf burger was spot on she said.

Some food was good, some food was not good. this place is extremely busy! I think because the sleepy town doesn’t have much else. In fact, we called for pick up and several times got a busy signal. You just have to be persistent. They do have reserved parking for pick up so that’s nice. Supposedly they’re famous for laulau. But I didn’t like it. It was dry. However, there saimin was excellent. And their tempura was pretty good as well. nothing inside; just a normal restaurant.

Tiny shop, big taste, HUGE serving size! I stopped by while on walkabout, ordered chicken katsu... expecting a basic plate lunch. I was SURPRISED. The serving size was huge, with a salad and ?garlic? rice. Saffron? So much food. Either share a plate, expect take home, or ask for a small serving. Service was very aloha friendly. Very little seating, expect to do takeout for a park, hotel, etc, or if you are lucky, a seat. It looked popular with both locals and tourists. Very tasty!

We arrived just before they closed and they were super nice. Made sure to get our order in and did not turn us away. Friendliest people Ive met so far... not to mention the food was beyond amazing. The shrimp curry, chicken curry and pita were the best I've ever had and the potato salad was phenomenal. Simple but flavorful with the perfe t blend of egg and crunch

Old Hilo Town vibe. Local bento diner at Bay Front. Decided to eat in. There is about 3 tables for seating. Bentos are made. So grab n go seems like a convenient Local Japanese Fusion stop. I got the Seafood Plate and the Chicken Katsu. Side note. Ordered fries on the side. They are large potatoe wedeges. I enjoyed them. Some people are particular about fries. FYI.. Decent sized portion for the price. I was full. Support Local Businesses.

The food here is great. The service is great. There's only 3 tables so you're probably better off getting takeout. The rice here stole the show. The falafel pita was pretty good though difficult to eat. They were out of a few items as well. The rice and service keep this place at 5 🌟

Food was amazing. Even after I was stuffed I still kept eating! I ordered a Chicken Katsu and it was the best Katsu I've ever had. Better than all those other fancy restaurants! Small restaurant but it deserves way more. Such a hidden gem.

Lived in Hilo all my life, this is one of my most favorite places to eat in Hilo. Small hole in the wall, with limited space, but great food and service.

Kula Shave Ice offers delicious, high-quality shave ice, and we really enjoyed the flavors we tried—especially the Lilikoi Dreamsicle, which was refreshing and flavorful. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the texture was just right. However, the prices were a bit higher compared to competitors, which made it feel a little less of a great value. That said, if you don’t mind paying a bit extra for a premium treat, it’s definitely worth a visit!

Food: We got the Kula Rainbow which is with mango, strawberry and blueberry syrup on top and vanilla ice cream as the filling. The blueberry syrup is on the sweet side and not a big fan but the rest is fantastic! Their vanilla ice cream is made from scratch as you can see vanilla seeds in it and it tastes very creamy! Service: common and friendly Ambiance: outdoor seating only. The whole deco is colorful and vivid. Be careful with sticky tables and benches though.

05/02/2025 (Fri) We came here after seeing photos of shave ice topped with fresh fruit and really wanted to try it, but unfortunately, it’s no longer on the menu. They also don’t offer natural flavors, and you can only choose up to two flavors. We had the regular size with POG and mango & blueberry.

I ordered a guava and lilikoi shaved ice with condensed milk on top and I was beyond thrilled with how amazing this shaved ice was. I appreciated the menu was clear and had tons of options for customers.

Best shave ice in all Hawai’i. We live on Oahu, and nothing we’ve found comes close to how smooth, silky, and delicious this is to eat. Holy smokes, it’s amazing and we will recommend it to everyone visiting! Recommend the lilikoi and POG! Please add watermelon to your flavor line up!

Kula Shave Ice was the perfect stop after visiting the Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden on a humid day! We ordered the Local and the Lilikoi Dreamsicle. Both were excellent afternoon treats, and I appreciated that they were not too sweet!

My favourite shave ice on the island! The second time I went, I got the lilikoi dreamsicle with half the seasonal flavour: ‘uala. Oh my gosh, it was heavenly. Now I’m going to dream about this place until I get to return. 💜

One minor feedback, shrimp tempura curled up in to a ball inside the batter instead of the usual length of the tempura today, batter is still amazingly crispy. Besides that still the best and tastiest okazuya I’ve ever had. The flavor of the food has been consistent for the 60 years I’ve been eating here. The workers and the customers maintain that unique Hilo friendliness and charm.

This is a very local restaurant, and we loved it! They have a display showing all the options, and you can order by the unit to try different things or go for one of the bento boxes with set items. We got a bit of everything! There’s no seating area, but they pack the food really well so you can take it anywhere. Personally, I didn’t love the crab cake and roll, but everything else was wonderful. There was quite a line when we arrived, so it took about 30–40 minutes to order worth the wait!

Saw a review of this place on YouTube and thought it would be worth checking out and I was blown away with the quality of the food. The fish was some of the best mahi I have ever had and the spam masubi tasted fresh as if it were just pressed. The chicken was crispy and had an excellent flavor. The staff here were filled with aloha and I felt very welcomed despite it clearly being my first time visiting.

Stop here for breakfast and try the different foods. The food was amazing and the staff were very helpful when helping to pick out what we wanted. A full box and 2 juices was only about $17 so worth the price! The photo here shows how excited we were to dig in and not capture all the food! There isn't places to sit and eat but we found a nice park to enjoy it at.

Great local place for an impromptu custom bento. Line was a few feet out the door so had to wait about 20 minutes for order to be taken. When you get up to the case a patient employee will take down your order then go fill your order and meet you at the register to pay. Don’t worry you’ll have plenty of time once you get inside to ogle at all the food options they have in the case. Everything tasted great and satisfied the craving. Don’t forget to order at least a serving or two of long rice, nishime (stewed root veggies), mac salad. They had a Portuguese pickle on the white board for $6. Great rice vinegar based pickle option that helped cut through the fried options.

Quick Summary Nice little gem in Hilo, when you want to get your fried food fix. Can call ahead to skip on the line, but the line moves pretty quickly. The staff are very friendly and patient. My favorites are their tempura, particularly their fish. Food- 5 stars Really solid batter on their tempura. Would highly recommend their tempura'd fish. Definitely balance it out with some pickles and musubi, but the highlight was the tempura fish Service- 5 stars The staff are very friendly and patient. When in Hilo… Okazuya is a must! Japanese plantation days finger/picnic foods ordered one piece at a time! Take-out only! Kawamoto’s resonates 80-years of history and it has a special place in my heart. $10 per person buys you a lot!

On my last day in Hilo I made a stop here for breakfast. Came right when it opened and ordered the kalua pork plate with mac salad and purple sweet potato salad. I deeply regret not having tried this earlier during my trip because it was AMAZING. I specifically wanted the purple sweet potato salad which blew my mind. The plate was light, savory, and refreshing all at once. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Wow wow wow! The flavors are ridiculously delicious and has a great kick! I ordered a spicey ahi poke bowl with the kitchen cucumbers and it tasted glorious. This is a solid poke restaurant and the fish is so fresh! I will absolutely be returning here the next time I visit Hilo because the flavors were so good. I've never tasted kimchi this good and look forward to trying it again!

The poke was fresh but the selection was a bit limited. The purple sweet potato side was delicious and worth trying. Overall a decent spot for a quick meal.

Food so good, we ate here twice in the 2 full days we were in Hilo. Poke is fresh and delicious with our favs being the Hawaiian and Shoyu. I also really enjoyed the Korean fried chicken plate. Seems like they separately fry the chicken skin, which tastes exactly like you'd think... Amazing! Definitely try this place if you're in Hilo.

The WORST korean food ever. Korean chicken tastes and looks like orange chicken from panda express. Both of my shrimp were so undercooked I couldn't eat them. And one piece of soggy mochico chicken was over $5. What an overpriced disaster. $21 plate and I'm throwing most of it in the trash.

Good okazuya they are generous with the sides portions. The egg battered fish was good, popular. Spam musubi had good ratio.

Everything I have eaten from here was out of this world delicious. My all time favorite is their hamburger steak. It is made with mostly meat, I doubt they use any fillers. It is the best hamburger steak I have had in my life!!!

Popular restaurant with great ambience. There was about a 45 minute wait for a table on a Thursday evening. There was live music, and the atmosphere was cheery and bustling. The appetizers came out quickly, and the entrees followed soon after. I watched as everyone else got their food and started eating while my steak was still being prepared. Since the restaurant was busy, our waitress didn’t check in on us much, and we were seated in a corner where we were pretty much out of view. By the time my group had almost finished their meals, my steak still hadn’t shown up. We managed to flag the waitress down, and she said she’d check on it. It came out shortly after, but unfortunately what was supposed to be a medium steak came well done. We flagged her down again, and by that point, we were pretty disappointed with both the service and how the steak turned out. The waitress felt bad about the whole situation, took the steak back, and offered a complimentary dessert, which she wrapped up for takeout since we had to head out.

My family and I all came here and all 5 of us ordered something different. Let me tell you,everything we had was so delicious!! Even both my picky teens loved their food. Great place, great amotmosphere. Staff was super friendly and service was awesome. All around great place!

My husband and I ate here twice on our trip to the Big Island because we loved it so much the first time. We enjoyed all of our food and would have loved to have eaten every dinner here! The service was also great and the atmosphere very pleasant. We waited just a few minutes each time for a table, but under 10 for sure.

Just wow! The food here is amazing! I might be back several more times over the next week while in Hilo. The coconut crusted fresh catch was delicious, best I’ve had. The grilled fresh catch sandwich was also delicious, especially the homemade tartar sauce. The Pineapple Pow is a must try cocktail, and you can get for kids without the “pow” (alcohol). We tried the triple lilikoi pie which was outstanding. Service was excellent too, but it’s a small place so it likely gets busy during peak times. Plenty to walk and see in the area while waiting for a table.

Calamari, Hilo local plate and triple Lilokoi pie was enough food for 2! Yummy food, open air restaurant with fun vibe and live music that is just the right kind and level so that you can relax and have a pleasant conversation while enjoying your meal. Wait staff were quite attentive and friendly. Very well priced meals.

The restaurant has a nice vibe and a cozy street-corner location, making it a pleasant spot to relax and enjoy a drink. However, the overall style feels more Americanized rather than truly local Hawaiian. We ordered the Mai Tai flight, which came beautifully presented but was a bit too sweet for our taste. The Hilo Local Plate had decent variety, but again, the flavors leaned quite sweet. The Coconut Ginger Mussels were also super sweet, and the portion was small and didn’t feel worth the price. Overall, we didn’t quite enjoy the food. If you want a more authentic local Hawaiian experience, there are better options nearby

Cas was amazing! She was friendly and made our time fly by! We tried the Poke Tower, Nachos and fresh fish sandwhich. Everything was amazing and fresh! We cant recommend this place enough. The live music was also a plus! 10/10

Soooo good. We stopped here on the way to the volcano site. We had the creme brulee french toast, the CBP pancakes and the traditional eggs Benedict. We all devoured our meals. The service was great and friendly since the moment we walked in. Great family environment with a great view of water. We even saw turtles! Would definitely come back.

Absolutely love Coconut Grill. We had the fresh fish of the day, and it was incredible. Served on skewers cleverly placed in a slice of grilled pineapple, and complimented with the most delicious curvy fries. Top that off with delicious Mai Tais, and the service was incredible, and filled with Aloha. You absolutely have to visit!!

I brought my mom here on Mothers Day. The waitress was great. The food was another story. At first glance I thought it would be good. I ordered the rib eye tips, they were flavorless. There was barely any meat on the plate & about 5 pieces of that small amount was pieces of fat. My mom ordered the coconut shrimp plate. When it came out it wasn't hot. Both her rice & my rice was hard. Then there was a hard undercooked carrot & hard undercooked broccoli on her plate. I ate here a few years ago & it was great. The plate came out with steam & was delicious. We were so disappointed with the quality this time we decided to refuse our plates & eat elsewhere. For the price of the food we were shocked at how bad the meal was. If you enlarge the steak plate I drew Arrows to show the fat pieces that should have been steak. Also the pale tomatoes, they are supposed to be red. Highly disappointed. :(

I got the breakfast flat bread. It was quite good. I didn’t really taste any blue cheese but otherwise the flavours were nice. It was extremely filling as they were generous with the brisket and eggs.

After living on the Big Island for 12 years, we finally made it in—and let’s just say we’re already planning our next visit. We arrived a bit early, so we started with drinks at the bar (excellent pours, by the way) before moving to our table, where the service was warm and attentive from start to finish. We began with the escargot, which, honestly, is the best we’ve had on island: buttery, garlicky, and perfectly tender. We also shared a shrimp dynamite roll that was fresh, balanced, and made exactly as it should be—each bite delivering that satisfying crunch and spice without overpowering the delicate shrimp. For our main, we split the 16-ounce cut prime rib, cooked to absolute perfection and served juicy and flavorful, with each bite reminding us why we love a classic done right. It’s rare to find a spot that nails the food, service, price, and overall vibe all in one, but this place delivered. We’re already looking forward to coming back—and next time, we’ll be saving room for dessert.

Our party of 4 was very pleased in every aspect of our dinner. Blackened ahi, Mac nut crusted ahi, volcano shrimp, poke nachos, raw oysters, and cocktails! Great service! Can't wait to go again and try more flavors!

Classy restaurant, with lovely views of their pond, and Four Miles beach on the other side. Service from Tako for reservation on phone was extremely pleasant. When we arrived on 10/18/25, our server "Michelle" was sweet, patient, and attentive. Our dishes were incredible! We started with Kumamoto Oysters and Shishito peppers: EXCELLENT! I had Steak & Lobster, which was perfect. Husband had Chinese Style Ehu, and he loved it. The Black tables and chairs were comfortable and beautiful. Scenery is delicate, with lovely orchids inside. Entire vibe, which is one of tranquility, is priceless. Affordable too, so treat yourself to the best! Mahalo nui, Seaside Restaurant.

This popular local restaurant is worth considering for dinner, but ensure they have an available table or make a reservation in advance. Despite high expectations from reviews, our dining experience wasn't particularly special. Waiting over 50 minutes for our sushi roll and a mix-up in cooking the fish extended our wait time to over an hour. The Spicy Ahi Bombs were flavorful, the Seaside Roll was okay but had a specific taste we didn't favor, and the Fresh Catch of the day (Ono with linguine) was well-cooked but lacked a distinctive flair.

We gathered here for family dinner and conversation before we left the next day to return to our transplant home in the mainland. The Seaside Restaurant has been a family favorite for many years for special occasions. The food is delicious, flavorful and served with a smile. We enjoyed multiple appetizers and dessert along with our main dinner meal. No complaints from any of the family members. The 3 course dinner menu option is long gone, but we will always return when we are in town.

Seafood is always done right! The host was really nice he told us the daily specials and some recommendations. We ordered the poke nachos and shrimp dynamite roll for starters and the blackened ahi and the New York steak & lobster for dinner. Everything tasted delicious and was cooked to perfection. It did take quite a while for our order to come out and it was a bit loud making it hard to converse. The restaurant is a bit dated but the view of the pond makes up for it.

Good kombucha, good food, nice and chill spot with plenty of seating. I liked they had local artists stuff at the front right when you walk in. The gentleman that took our order was really nice. We sat outside and enjoyed our breakfast. Great way to start the day.

I always get the Hamakua Mushroom Omelet with goat cheese and purple potatoes. 🤤 it never disappoints me and I always end up over eating. I also tried their soup of the day today was “purple sweet potato Bisque” again sooo delicious.

Absolutely delicious! The fresh-made hummus is a must-try, and the kombucha is top-notch. I had the vegan tempeh with cashew cheese, and let me tell you, it was incredible! It’s the perfect alternative to Swiss cheese. The Hamakua mushroom omelette was out of this world, too! So flavorful! The hostess was so warm and friendly, which made the experience even better. There’s plenty of seating, from booths and tables to high tables, and they even have outdoor seating. I can’t wait to go back and try more from their menu. You can bet I’ll be ordering that vegan tempeh and cashew cheese again at The Booch Bar!

I've had breakfast a few times at Booch Bar and I love the Brekky Tacos with lentil chorizo. My husband has had the burger a few times and said it is one of the best he's had. The food is so inspired and freshly made from scratch using local ingredients. I also love the komboochas and coffee drinks. The pizzas look great and I want to try the pizza soon. They have live music some nights as well. Its a little pricey but I think well worth it. I would highly recommend the Booch Bar.

We typically come here once or twice per week and we love it! They used fresh, local ingredients and they make their own kombucha and Jun. They have outdoor seating and we can bring our dog. They always have a fresh catch (unless they run out). Their coffee drinks are great, and they do offer alcoholic beverages as well, although it does not feel like a bar at all.

Kitschy and hippie bar with a great breakfast menu. Delicious coffee. The brekky Sammy with turkey was delightful. Lots of local art for sale. Lots of vegan options too if you want vegan.

Prices shown on menu online are very outdated. Booch Bar Burger is actually $21, not $15 as posted. Many other items exponentially higher as well. Just an FYI. Food is good quality. Pretty quick service. Interior paint colors scream McDonald's vibes of bright orange and yellow walls. Cool local art on the walls. Other than the bad wall colors, chill vibe.

Good food and great service. Prices are 40-50% higher than the local restaurants. Breakfast was pretty good, but pricey. Had the veggie scramble with three eggs and bacon for $23. Had some fries and a shrimp cocktail in the afternoon as well. Shrimp were huge, but also pricey. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great views of the bay, but also next to pool (lots of noise).

The food here was amazing🤩! My favorite thing off the menu was the ube creme brulee, but sadly I pretty sure it's a special and the calamari. The truffle fries were also very good. Although I ordered the fish taco and it wasn't the best, it was still good tho, but I wouldn't order again. But overall I'd give this place a 10/10!!

Some of the best artisan high quality food on the Big Island! The atmosphere is cozy, clean, and inviting, reminiscent of French Bistros and big city dining. To top everything off the staff is excellent and very pleasant. Oh, I also must mention the spectacular seasonal drink creations that come from the bar, they are nothing short of delightful, creative and absolutely refreshing!

After a long tiring day from Big island excursion we decided to just stay low and chill at the hotel for the evening so Hula hula is our pick for dinner since it conveniently located at the G level of our hotel. Our food was excellent you can tell the quality of the ingredients a pizza crust is to die for our sever Kristine is the best thank you so much for providing us such wonderful experience.

Wow. So worth a visit. I had the catch of the day. It was quite pricy compared to the portion size. I had to order an appetizer to feel satisfied. However, the atmosphere was incredible and I had a wonderful time

Had breakfast here, I had continental and it comes with croissant and assorted fruits. The croissant was nicely toasted and buttery, but the fruits were like the ones you get on a plane lol. The grape jam was really nice though! Hubby's scrambled eggs were not that nice, too dense and dry in my opinion. His slice of bread was thick and well toasted. But maaaan.. the guava juice was seriously so good..

Hula Hula, located in the Hilton Doubletree in Hilo, has very good food. Ate there twice during our stay. Had the Pepperoni Pizza and Cheeseburger & Fries for lunch and couple nights later, had the Fish Tacos and Cheeseburger & Fries. Everything was very good. Also had several drinks at the Bar Area and Pool. Good clean place and good atmosphere.

We stopped in here for some sweet snacks to have later on in the morning. Nice tasty " flat croissant" ,and a macnut coffee cake. Paired well with coffee later in the day!

Day one of the trip and I've found the bakery I want to eat at every day! The pastrami sandwich on panini was amazing. And their drip coffee was perfect. They also had all kinds of sweets I might have to check out on future trips on!

I absolutely adore this place. It’s very obvious that their sandwich’s and baked goods are made with a tremendous amount of love. The pineapple chunk on the side of my breakfast sandwich was a nice touch. I really appreciated the vegetarian option for the breakfast sandwich. My favorite go to’s are the million dollar Mac nut bar and the avocado BLT. Thanks for being great.

Ordered an almost $18 dollar breakfast bowl not expecting it to be a small container one you would use for a side dish. I’m truly disappointed.

Mediocre at best. More bakery than Cafe. Breakfast bowl tiny, served in small double scoop ice cream type cardboard container. Layered in so tight you cant stir it up. Potatoes hot, eggs moderate, ham and cheese were cold. Not good. Would not go back. Girl at counter, while sweet, got order wrong and had to stand bin line again for coffee.

It is a great bakery offering a wide variety of pastries and desserts. The staff is incredibly welcoming and readily answers any questions about their sweet treats. During our visit, they generously offered complimentary samples of the brauni.

Nori's was one of my bookmarked places to try but wasn't at the top of the list. Our journey here was a last minute decision as we wanted a nightcap as well as food, and Nori's was one of the few places open at 10pm. ATMOSPHERE: They're located in a small strip mall, though the eatery cannot be seen from the road. Seating is a collection of homemade wooden booths, even for the 2-seaters, with two of them being able to accommodate large parties of about 16 each. Decor is very homely, and the place was fairly clean sans for the sticky floors, but to be fair we came at the end of the night, so that's to be expected. MENU: Saimin, won ton min, mundoo soup, ramen, cold noodles, stir fried noodles, local plate lunches, hot pot, burgers, salads, desserts. Also sake, beer, wine. FOOD: Hilo Style Saimin All the saimin/noodle dishes are available in small or large sizes, with the option of the "special" which added a few slices of won bok and a chicken skewer. Being the pig that I am, I ordered the large which was loaded with so much noodles that I couldn't finish even half. The noodles were thicker and wavy like dry mein noodles and cooked perfect. The only downfall was the broth which was a tad overly salty which killed the natural dashi flavor. Temperature-wise it was hot but not searing. The teriyaki-flavored chicken stick, unfortunately, was very dry and overcooked. Local Special My spouse's dish. This falls under their "Local Moco's" category, AKA loco moco. The Local Special added two eggs and a scoop of macaroni salad to the "hamburger steak" dish. The portion was huge for the price. The forkful I tasted was really good; the patty moist and the dark brown gravy thick and savory. Great deal and it'll fill ya up! SERVICE: Our female server, an elder Asian woman, was so sweet and friendly! I didn't get her name but she had on a black shirt with "Nori's" spelled out in sparkly rhinestones on the front. Extremely pleasant and professional! TIP: They do not split checks at all, with bright pink signs abound stating it. OVERALL: Nice menu with lots of noodle choices and even alcohol, good service, open late compared to other eateries in the area.

We ordered the original small saimin, loco moco, and Bi bim kook soo. The saimin didn't have the typical saimin umami flavor that we're crave in the broth. It was just salty and my daughter was adding her water into the broth to make it more palatable. Eck. The meat in the bi bim kook soo was really tough and lacked the Korean full taste that we're used to. The one good thing we experienced was the delicious char broiled flavor of the burger patty in the loco moco. That was good. The rest, we can't recommend.

We wanted to try Loco Moco since it’s so often raved about and this one wasn’t too bad! I enjoyed the gravy and the egg was cooked to what I said. The Korean combination was the best dish; the meat was flavored strongly without much or any visible sauce! Everything else was a bit disappointing; the garlic butter shrimp noodles didn’t have much taste and the soba was bland also. Their best dishes seem to be few. I highly recommend the Chocolate Mochi Cake as a not-too-sweet dessert!

Great ambience and friendly service. Mainly locals and very little tourists. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t stellar. The broth on both of our saimins were salty to the point where we barely ate our soups. The chicken stick was dry, tough and too sweet. The corn bites were decent. The musubi is tad bit overpriced for a clump of mushy rice and a strip of nori.

Quaint hole in the wall with charm. The staff were attentive and friendly. My friends ordered saimin and both said the broth was a bit too salty for their taste. I ordered Loco moco and made it a "special," which means it came with an extra egg and macaroni salad on the side. The macaroni salad had a good flavor however it was a bit saltier than I prefer. I enjoyed the loco moco, however.

We wanted to like this place. There’s no denying that it’s popular. But in the end we’re not sure why. The portions are generous. That’s probably the main reason people come here. I had the teri loco moco. My eggs were super underdone. The teri sauce was thin and too sugary. The mac salad was all mayonnaise. We also had the saimin. It was bland. We expected it to have luncheon meat, but lunch meat, noodles, and a flavorless broth are all you get. And, it took 45 minutes from the time we ordered until our food was brought out.

This place was so delicious. From out of town, came hungry, left happy and full. Huge fantastic portions! And affordable

Great selections and options! Generous proportions. Be certain to read the specials board inside on the back wall. We enjoyed a Regular Deluxe Pineapple, Li Hing Moi, Lillikoi (passionfruit), and pineapple with cream.

Great quick option😋. This is take out only however, there is two benches on the side of the building that you can sit and enjoy. Prices reasonable and so many choices. Portions are large. There is parking on the side of the street. However, I did not see a parking parking lot. This is located directly across from pineapples and you could miss it if you didn’t have GPS.

Best shave ice in Hilo. Best taste. Friendly staff. Best price. I highly recommend it!

We asked a waitress at Ziggys what the best shaved ice there was in the area. By her reaction, we HAD to go here. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED! You order at the door and eat it outside on benches. Heavenly!

Some of the best if not the best shave ice I've had. Perfect texture of ice and flavors are distinct. Get the ice cream under and sweet cream top. It's enormous so allow plenty of time to enjoy it and get lots of napkins because it's messy but so worth it!

Wow this was probably the best shaved ice we've ever had. We ate lunch across the street at Pineapples (which was just ok) but then saw this place and the kids wanted it so we walked over. The keiki size is perfect and only $4. It was soooooo dang good I couldn't stop taking bites off my kids shaved ice... I should have just got one of my own. Highly recommend.

Definitely the most pleasant and friendliest business that we visited during our stay on the big Island! The young woman making the shave ice just kept a big smile on her face and kept everyone in line happy. Her young daughter did a good job of finishing the shave ice and helping out. Theirshave ice was the best we’ve had on the big Island! It’s just a block away from the tourist area so it seems that most of the people in line were locals. Had fun eating our shave ice out on the front bench on a hot day and making a mess!

Hour of operation is not correct. Restaurant closes from Dec.25 - Jan.9 without online notice and says fully booked until June.2025.

Hands down this sushi is the best. It tastes like it came straight out of Japan. Which it did! All the fish comes straight out of Japan and caught the day before. It tastes so good but I had to wait 9 months before I could dine here. This was so good. 5 star rating!

The best sushi restaurant I've ever been to. Pricey but so worth the quality, you get what you pay for. So good, he's booked at least 6 months out. If you can't get a reservation, order takeout.

Called to make a reservation (10/2/18). Lady told me they are booked through June 2019. Then told me the only way to get a reservation is to show up AT THE RESTAURANT on December 27, and wait in line. Told me they start lining up at 4:30 am, so get there early if I want a reservation in the second half of 2019. I would like to try the place, but I'm eating a meal, not buying the latest Iphone! (which I do not stand in line for either). Absurd system, but I guess it works for them.

Fast friendly service, food tasted great. Quick fast food spot. Had the chicken bah-min tasted good small but well balanced. Also got a chicken pho which I thought was delicious. The egg drop soup is thick and seasoned nicely. I’ve had some that were too salty. This one hit the spot!

I may be an uncultured Oklahoma red neck but this place is super unique. Ive never had such good noodles, im a Pho Tai Nam guy. I have slim hopes of ever finding another bowl of noodles like this anywhere. Die hard fan forever.

Fast, hot, delicious! Just a walk up windows with no place to really sit and eat. However, if you're hungry for noodles, in a hurry, and don't want to spend a fortune, this could be your new spot. Also, if you have business at DHS, order your food, handle you business and regardless how things went at DHS, you'll have something to look forward to when you pau.

We are from Toronto and would say that we eat Pho quite often. The broth here is very good, not fatty at all just enough fish sauce and sweetness. The spring rolls were also very good, try them with the lettuce together makes nice refreshing contrast. Highly recommend!

Literally the best Vietnamese and Chinese inspired food ever! I searched everywhere in Hilo to find egg flower/egg drop soup and this restaurant is the only place I could find that has traditional recipes. It’s so comforting and authentic. I could honestly go back for their soup weekly now; it’s THAT good. 😊

Sitting at my work desk straight off the red-eye enjoying a wonderful cardamon muffin wishing I was still in Hilo! So fresh and delicious. The owner and her team are all lovely. This bakery is a little gem!

Stopped at Papa'a Palaoa bakery this morning. Ended up buying a loaf of deli rye bread, mint chocolate chip cookies and a slice of coconut cream pie. All were delicious! Sights and smells inside brought back memories of working in my father's bakery 60 years ago. I'll be back weekly to sample everything!

I did a quick search for a bakery and found Papa'a Palaoa's to be just what I needed. I wanted to get a quick gift for my hosts and when I walked in the smell of cinnamon hit hard, it in a good way. I asked the two young people working with dough on the table if they had just made something with cinnamon (cause I wanted to buy whatever it was that smelled so good!). One of them said, "no, it just always smells like that.). 😀 Right away I knew I needed to buy a cinnamon roll, whether it was fresh made or not. I also bought a cinnamon, raisin, walnut loaf. I didn't get to sample the loaf, since I left it with our host, but the cinnamon roll broke da mouth! (As they say here.) 🤙🏼 I don't know about anything else they sell there, but I would wager it's ALL good. So many LAYERS and so much delicious cinnamon filling. Not too sweet and not too overwhelming. (But I do like my cinnamon rolls to taste like cinnamon.) 😀

Wanted to grab a cinnamon roll but on that Saturday afternoon they were already sold out. Small bakery with no place to sit, only take out. A customer in front of me recommend the lilikoi pie which I ended up ordering for ~6$ The staff was friendly but somehow also kind of absent. Cake was good but super sweet. You could share a piece or have the other half later imo.

Delicious fresh baked bread. It’s a bit pricey but so worth it. They’ll offer to slice the loaf for you if you want. The sweet treats are so good they’re out of this world. I’ve always had pleasant interactions with the staff. Even when they’re busy they have time for a friendly greeting and a smile. The shop is tiny. No seating, just a counter where you buy your baked goods to take out. There’s street parking, and a small parking lot just beyond the building.

If you are looking for a cinnamon roll serving as a full meal, this is your place to go! Hands down one of the best cinnamon rolls I ever had - there’s not a spot that is not covered in cinnamon. The bakery itself is super cute and offers a good variety of sweet and savory goods, even (discounted) items from the previous day. Highly recommended!

Exceptional bakery. We got a pumpkin spice muffin, mint chocolate chip cookies and a whole wheat cranberry walnut bread. All were excellent. You can see them preparing the items to be baked.

I tried the Mexican Fiesta Wrap (inside had alfalfa sprouts slice of mango yum and side sour cream ), Vegan cooked Tofu Salad with side sauce, and Steamed Taro Bento. I enjoyed all! The only critique is it was made fresh was hot going into the bento container, so when put in refrigerated area it made the wrap slightly soggy, the Taro edges little bit but solid density. I still thought it was healthy delicious though!

I go to this store often. They carry a great variety of gluten free products.The prices are on the high side but that is to be expected with a smaller non mega store business. I have celiac disease and I love the gluten free salmon wraps made in the deli. They offer gluten free bread as well as gluten free spinach and plain tortillas for your wraps and sandwiches. The only thing I have been disappointed in was the fruit, papaya, I purchased on one occasion that was already turned. Other than the mangos and papayas everything looked good. They had good apple bananas. It's really nice to have a place to eat that accommodates special diets. The deli is not open on the weekends... I'm not sure how late they are open on weekdays. They also have a rewards points program that is nice. There are certain days that different things are discounted a percentage.

I bought some toothpaste for my son and he almost vomit from how gross it was. I came to return it and they said they won’t refund me. Their reason is that he needs to have an “adverse medical reaction” to it for them to consider refunding me any money.

Island Naturals quality has greatly suffered. This morning, I got a turkey and cheese breakfast croissant with green mold hidden beneath some turkey. Keep hearing how this is normal at the Hilo location. Will never go back.

You're not going to find too many places like this in the country, let alone The Big Island! Great "stuff", staff and savings! If you're into healthy, you'll find happiness at Island Naturals.

You can find great herbs, teas, same product different brands, fresh. Organic, good local products also, gifts with local motives, natural medicines. Poultry, meat, fish, local eggs.Frozen products an food just made. Good for take out, Breakfasts, lunches, early dinners. Close around 8pm. Big parking lot. Prices are not in the inexpensive side. Some discounts for seniors and students. They also sell wine.

This is one of many island markets on the big island of Hawaii. They stock many "green" and "organic" products that are very popular today with millennials and health conscious consumers. There is also a large hot food bar with standard 9 dollars per pound cooked food. There is also a large selection of ready made salads and bowls. There is a section for all locally made Hawaii goods if you are looking to support the local economy, and they carry suntan lotion that doesn't have the ingredients that is damaging to reefs. If you are looking for bargains I would skip this place, but if you are willing to drop some coin on quality I can't recommend this place enough.

Good service, welcoming, and quick. Decor is atypical for ramen shop meant to be enjoyed quickly. They also feature a sushi bar. We found the ramen just mediocre in taste a bit crowded almost messy in presentation. I do appreciate the option of selecting the noodles to be firm, normal, or soft. I always loved a firmer cooked ramen but found it didn’t make much difference. The broth was lacking flavor and depth and combined with all the toppings it didn’t come together very well. Nonetheless, cute spot lovely service just ramen wasn’t anything great.

I do not eat ramen often, but on this particularly chilly and wet day in Hilo ramen was exactly what we wanted. We were seated promptly, scanned the menu, and ordered. Two of us ordered the Tantanmen Ramen and the other chose the Tonkotsu Fried Ramen. We enjoyed our meals in silence, which is often a sign of group enjoyment. The meals could have easily been taken home for leftovers, especially the fried ramen! The pricing here is reasonable when you take into account the price of most restaurants on the big island, the amount of food you get, and the great taste. We will be coming back and hope to see the sushi menu!

We were surprised when we were quoted a 45min wait, but no problem, we can wait in the car. We ended up walking around the shops and came back and were called up in about 7min total. You can order and pay via a code and an online menu. The ramen was fantastic. My partner got the scallion ramen and I got the garlic ramen, we split a kaedama. The garlic ramen was the best I've had in years and they were not shy with the garlic. The vibe of the restaurant was super cute and very much like in Japan.

The BEST ramen I've had. Ever. Full stop. What a delicious surprise. I would honestly eat here three times a week if I could. Honestly the best. Splurge and get all the add-ins you want. So worth it!

Tonkotsu ramen review We came here for the ramen but I left with the best sushi Full disclosure I have eaten lots of sushi and when I say sushi I don’t mean ordering off the extensive roll menu. I prefer the simple presentation and preparation that highlights the beauty of the flavor of the fish. On to the review! We arrived for ramen and their offerings were quite extensive. More detailed and customizable than any ramen place I had been before. Lots of pictures and the feeling like I was in a Japan ramen house. Personally I am not a big ramen fan. It tastes great but hurts my stomach so I was checking out their curry as a more friendly option when the waitress told me that sushi was now available. The way she said it was in that the sushi chef was now here and so they could serve sushi. So maybe it’s just a dinner thing. The sushi menu is short and sweet. A few classic rolls and sashimi combinations. I ordered the chefs choice sashimi combo. I have been doing this more often lately as I want to leave it up to the chef. This time it was the absolute right choice. My plate arrived and I was surprised at the variety displayed for me. There was classic salmon, maguro(tuna), yellowtail. Tako (octopus), ika (squid). And then some I don’t normally see like conch, saba (mackerel), scallop. It was a wonderful variety and all was amazing. The way it was all cut made every piece melt in my mouth. Normally you would get larger pieces consisting of two bites each. Most of these were cut smaller so you could have many wonderful bites of each type. The saba was pickled In a way I had never had before. Not like the salty saba at most places. The ika was cut into thin stripes and cross cut every 1/8th inch and so was soft like butter. The scallop were large pieces, not the pile of little ones mixed with cupie gunk. These were beautiful displayed and so creamy. The tuna was also cut In a way that I could enjoy many easy bites. The tako also. Every piece was so good that as it disappeared from my plate I put a lot of thought into which would be my last piece. I finished with the scallop. Also the presentation was beautiful, see the picture, everything on the plate was edible. Dikon radish, shiso leaves and 2 types of seaweed. This plate elevated a meal in to an experience and I highly recommend it. I approached the sushi chef on my way out and thanked him for the amazing meal. He was working at a small station and clearly busy. I still blurted my thanks and appreciation and I hope he continues on creating amazing sushi.

The ramen was spectacular, so was the sushi! My family had a great time and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Only downside was the man who obviously is a plumber in our line of sight, but that's not on the restaurant at all. Would recommend overall to anyone!

This is a must-go Japanese restaurant in town if you like Japanese cuisine such as ramen or curry based dishes. They have got plenty of ramen selections with nice meat selection. Japanese curry dishes are of very authentic flavor. Oyago don is also of authentic flavor and presentation, not as good as what you could get in Japan local plcaes, but definitely one of the best I have tried in the US. The only complaint would be the portion for every main course is very large! lol

I got a Kalua Pork Plate and my wife got Kalua Nachos. The food wasn't the greatest in the world, but each plate was only $7.50, which is about the best price you can get on the island, and it was still pretty tasty and filling. It's only just barely four stars because the place looks super trashy, but the quality of the food is well above what you'd expect at that price. Plus, they had smaller stuff like Spam Musubi for $1, which was awesome! Overall, definitely would recommend, as it was delicious, and super affordable. Please note that this is a small place where you CANNOT dine in. It is all takeout, so you'll have to eat in your car or elsewhere, but it's still fully enjoyable. P.S. You can still come if you don't like Poke, as they still sell cooked items.

I found this place from a google review and I’m so glad! It was simply delicious, I loved making my own recipe, and as mentioned, the staff were so kind. I will definitely return to try more things and be grateful for the excellent prices. Grabbed my poke and headed to the beach nearby for a yummy breakfast picnic outside ☀️ 🧺!

Delicious 🤤🤤 we're only on this side of the island for the day or I'd here daily. No insane toppings hiding the flavor of the tuna. Just great fish, kind service, and happy tummy. Must try place if you like poke!

This is one of the best local spots to eat with very reasonable prices. The only issue is parking, very small 5 car lot on the corner of two busy roads, so use caution when parking and leaving. They have the best Kalua pork nachos and crab 🦀 potato 🥔 salad 🥗. Poke to your Taste is our go to place. Note: this is not a sit down restaurant, it's grab and go. Go to the beach and watch the waves as you enjoy your meal, then be sad you finished it and want more. Don't forget to try the garlic butter shrimp 🦐!

I went to this poke shop almost six months ago and every time I crave poke I think about this place. The fish was so fresh and yummy, the “make your own” stand was great, all around incredibly yummy and well priced. My family still talks about this place all the time!

Great place to get you Poke fix!!! Owner very welcoming and fish is fresh. Make your own choice with rice. We bought extra little containers to try the garlic prawns - Yummo!

This place is a must try. You cannot beat the quality of the food for the price. I’m not going to lie, my husband and I walked in timid and not knowing how to order etc. One of the staff members recognized this and took the time to guide us through the ordering process and all the options for a delicious poke bowl. It was incredibly fresh and delicious. Give it a shot and if you’re intimidated like we were just ask for help. They will make it easy for you. Parking is rough, but well worth the spot jockeying to get some incredible food.

As regulars of Aloha Mondays, we knew it would be something truly special to feature one of our favorite Hilo eateries at our wedding, and it absolutely was. Geana worked closely with us to create a custom menu, and the result was beyond anything we could have imagined. So many of our guests told us it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had...and we couldn’t agree more. Some of my personal favorites include: Pupus: The ahi poke bomb and the mushroom poke bomb (a perfect option for our vegetarian guests), and the heart of palm lumpia was honestly out of this world. Every bite was flavorful, crunchy, thoughtful, and made with so much care. Dinner: Chinese Black Bean Steamed Kona Kampachi, the Slow Braised Szechuan Shortribs, Chocolate Bread Pudding with Haupia Sauce. Food so good you might get into a car accident if you decide to eat & drive because the food is so amazing you will completely stop focusing on the road😂 One of the best spots in town with QUALITY top tier food. There’s only 6 different options every week plus one dessert item on the menu. No matter what you get, it’s the bomb! Some of my favorites include - the best ever pineapple carrot cake, the uala Haupia pie, Cioppino seafood stew, shrimp scampi, loco moco, furikaki salmon, the uala purple potato salad is a must, I could go on & list more but I’ll stop here. Unsure if we ordered the wrong items on the menu, however, flavors were subpar. We were recommended to come here and the raving reviews got us excited. However, the food did not meet our expectations. Ceviche was highly lacking in flavour (tasted only lemon juice) and fish did not taste fresh as it was tough. The crispy kataifi ono was just fish fried in kataifi (was not seasoned with anything at all). The only thing we enjoyed was the salad. Maybe just wasn't our day.

Ono grindz. Found this spot on a random internet search while in Hilo. Glad I did, because I had some of the best food during my time in the Big Island. My party ordered the ahi fish & chips, the pork & peas plate, and the ulu cheesecake. Since there's no dining area, we drove to nearby Hilo Brewing Co. to have some local brews to go with our food. Wish I had more space in my stomach to try the rest of their weekly menu. Too good.

Wish I could give 10 stars. The menu is incredible! I am told it changes weekly (this week they had some St Patrick Day inspired food). I ordered the Korean chicken and waffles with gojuchang butter and sesame syrup. It was out of this world good! One of those dishes I'll dream about. My husband got the tahitian Lime shrimp and rice and slaw. It was light and delicious! But the real star of the show is the lady at the counter who made my little girl happy. My 5 year old daughter was feeling extremely under the weather today and just wanted a grilled cheese sandwich. After reading the menu to my daughter and her not wanting any of it, I was planning on going somewhere else for her sandwich. But I didn't have to because the lady working said she'd see what she could do and made her a grilled cheese. The way my daughter's eyes lit up when she saw her sandwich was priceless. She was so happy. And she felt so much better afterwards! If only we didn't live on O'ahu, we'd be back! A huge mahalo!

I'm so happy I found this place while staying in Hilo! I got the Beef Wellington and Pesto Salmon Salad. Both were delicious and cooked well! I wish this was in LA. If I were to come back to Hilo I would definitely go again. Really wish I was able to try more dishes since they switch every week. Don't believe there's a sit down but with COVID19 take out is much preferred. There's a few parking spots in the back and you can order online as well

Hidden gem !!! This food was tasty and clean I would definitely come back again. There is no sit down over here and the menu always changes you can see the current one on there website. I had the Spanish rice loco moço, it was really tasty and original never had one like it before.

Night market was so cute! So many vendors perfect vibes food was awesome too

We absolutely love the farmer market at Hilo. Nice selection of fruit and veggies. The prices can vary from our stand the next, so you may want to walk around a bit

Great night market. Loved the live music and stage. So many great food and beverage options. A few other vendors too. Tasted Toasty Dogs - Da Kine dog and Sweetkine808 grinds Loaded Mac Bowl w/ chicken bacon ranch, both were amazing. So much flavour in the mango salsa on the dog and the tast of the Mac bowl was amazing! Thanks for a delicious evening

So many crazy vendors on Wednesday. Have my souvenirs and a few goodies to take to work! Henna artist is great and coffee just right.

The local bands are awesome, different every week. Lots of vendors and food trucks. I love the atmosphere of this market. They have covered tents to sit and eat and indoor space with crafters, clothing and crystals for sale. Very diverse offerings and family friendly.

Had a great time at some events there, only complaint is the rough rocky ground is kinda hard to dance on, maybe they can bring in some smaller cinder or smaller gravel that's easier to dance and walk over ? Other then that, I loved the venue and had a great time

I've been in Hawaii 4 days and randomly came threw Hilo on an adventure. This place has some of the best food I've eaten on the island without spending $$. Ahi steaks, spicy sauce with purple sweet potato. My daughter had the spaghetti and devoured it!! Great friendly service. The crew was rocking it!

This place has a $10 minimum for credit card purchase. Which is against terms of service for credit card companies. And the guy wanted me to buy a bunch of other stuff. And he said he was quote helping me out. They just lost a customer. They have good food but apparently ownership is more concerned about money than providing good customer service.

For a take out place the food is pretty good. I had a bento with a mayo based sauce which i didn't really like that much. But my cousin ordered the Ahi Tuna bento. It was really good. Raw onion doesn't sit well in my stomach so I didn't order that one. If you are in Hilo, try it! Its one if those local must dos :)

Hands down one of the best places to eat in Hilo. The spaghetti (and other food) tastes just like something you would make at home. Keep up the good work and congratulations on having such a wonderful place that we all love to eat at! ❤

Awrsome fresh selections under 10.00. Huge "Side Salad for 6.00, add a big scoop of Poke for 3.00. Awesome fresh catch sandwiches for 5.00. No deepfry on the fish! Overall AWESOME place for Cheap Eats!
