Nestled just off the stunning Palm Beach, Paseo Herencia Mall is a charming blend of old-world colonial architecture and modern entertainment. This delightful open-air shopping destination features an array of souvenir shops, designer boutiques, and specialty stores that cater to every taste. Visitors can indulge in a variety of dining options at its restaurants and cafes or unwind at one of the inviting bars.
Great mall for everything you need, tons of novelty items! Good food and good gelato. Park in the garage it’s only $2/hr and it puts you right in the middle of the mall.

For all your gift and souvenir needs—this spot has it all! 🛍️ From classic keepsakes to quirky finds, you’ll discover something for everyone. Plus, there are some quaint bars nearby with cool local staff that make the experience even better. Be sure to check out The Sexy Shrimp 🍤 and ask for Dennis—he’s hilarious, friendly, and on the hunt for a sugar momma! 😄 You’ll leave with laughs, good vibes, and probably more souvenirs than you planned!

A bit pricier than the port area in Oranjestad but also cleaner. Lots of stores and restaurants to choose from but most food is average.
Rob B — Google review
Wow! The ambience, the restaurants, the stores, and daily entertainment. We absolutely loved visiting the Paseo Herencia Mall for dinner and a nice stroll after. If you're in Aruba this place is not to be missed.
Dennismarie Q — Google review
Lot of food places. Mostly souvenir shops all selling the same Chinese junk. But the highlight is the made in Aruba stores. Local art, jewelry, etc. there are 3. Those are worth it. The back of the mall is all empty stores. Bad look for the high rise area. Good luck with parking tho.
Shannon C — Google review
A great place to visit for shopping, live entertainment, art, restaurants, and gifts and souvenirs. Very lively and fun at night. We used public transportation to get back to our hotel. Public buses come often. Very safe. Aruba and are very friendly and helpful. We always felt safe.

Had a bit of the munchies! Boom here's a place called Skewers!! Ya like that!? Small place with outdoor seating. Their specialty is a variety of meats on skewers, shocker huh!? Lady was cookn em up in front of ya quick with a few other choices- fries n such. Kool atmosphere, laid back, bring a kidney- nothings cheap in Aruba!! Food takes a bit to get to ya since it's cooked to order! Hack- next door is Pandoras. I popped in n asked for their wifi pw- no problems n lady was friendly there; thank you Pandora!! Enjoy the grub bub!!

I have been visiting Aruba for over 30 years, and I am currently here for a month. I love walking through the Paseo Herencia in the evenings and taking in all of the sights and sounds, including their nightly water/light theme show. I feel the Aruban evening breeze on my face and windowshop the new container-style stores and drink a tea or have an ice cream at their new restaurants.

The Bubali Bird Sanctuary, located in the northern part of Aruba near Palm Beach, is a haven for over 80 species of migratory birds. This wetland preserve features two interconnected man-made lakes and an observation tower that offers excellent bird watching opportunities. The sanctuary provides a lush habitat for various bird species including egrets, herons, cormorants, coots, gulls, skimmers, terns, and ducks.
Cool spot very close to the high rise resorts. Great views and a watchtower that lets you see the entire sanctuary. There are a lot of different species to see plus great fauna everywhere
Isaac S — Google review
It's hard to see the side with the egrets, herons and pelicans. It was easy to see the ducks, ducklings, and gallinules. There are hundreds of turtles and millions of lizards. The lookout tower had a nice breeze and gave a view of the buildings. Unfortunately the view of where the birds were was covered by vegetation. Can't be too mad that the bird sanctuary has lots of plants though. You could see the Frigatebirds swooping around. We saw ten kinds of birds and we weren't there super long. Birders will like the stop.
Geeanna T — Google review
Initially a bit disappointed on arrival. However we appreciated the tower where we could enjoy the refreshing island winds, view of the area and especially catch the wildlife in the marsh areas. The drive to the tower is short...easy to find. Road is a mixture of dry areas and water filled pot holes. Limited parking and is free
Patty H — Google review
A decent quick trip to see birds, lizards, and ducks. Path straight across the road from Diana’s pancakes at the old Dutch windmill. The area was clean and free of trash. The area was well maintained. The tower gives a good view. We saw a handful of birds.
Cindy S — Google review
It’s a free outdoor public natural land area. By walking around, you can view a variety of birds, such as pelicans and local breeds. It’s nice if not crowded. Don’t expect any tour guides. There’s a rusty structure you can walk up the stairs to get a Birds Eye view. It’s a nice calm stop off. Wear footwear you don’t mind getting dirty.
Sigfredo D — Google review
Very relaxing place. We have not actually seen too many birds (around 10 or so), but the sanctuary was such a peaceful and quite place, with soft sounds of water and some birds flying around. The tower is very easy to climb, and offers a nice view as well!
Mark B — Google review
I walked from Eagle beach, seemed a long walk, once there excellent bird life and lizards, walked around to tower where views over reserve, limited distant views of Osprey, But recommended, My pictures taken with 400mm R7 canon

Great for Aruba and the birds that it exists.... But not great as a tourist attraction (I'm not sure it's even intended as one).. Not many birds visible from the lookout.. I'm sure they're there. I don't think many people on vacation would like that they've taken time out of their day to see this. But it's quick to get in and out so if you aren't sure, give it a look.

The Butterfly Farm Aruba is a nature sanctuary where visitors can immerse themselves in a rainforest-like enclosure filled with hundreds of colorful butterflies. The experience offers guided tours through a tropical paradise, complete with fragrant flowers, lush trees, waterfalls, and serene ponds. Guests can learn about the lifecycles of butterflies and observe spectacular species from around the world. Additionally, they have the opportunity to purchase butterfly-related souvenirs to commemorate their visit to this natural haven.
My husband and I came to Aruba for our honeymoon. We were recommended the Butterfly farm. The staff are incredibly friendly and approachable. As we walked around, a staff member approached us and offered a tour. She was very knowledgeable, super nice and was happy to answer questions. On tour, we saw the entire life cycle of the butterfly (starting with the eggs on the plants, we were able to touch the caterpillars, they have many stations for the cocoons/ chrysalises and of course the adult butterflies). She also showed us the different types of species of butterflies/moths and explained some really cool facts about feeding, breeding, life span etc. Super informative! We would recommend going when it opens at 8:30. It wasn’t super busy and not too warm! The boutique is super cute. We got a few souvenirs. They also offer you a ticket that allows you to come back for free (it’s valid for a one time visit and good for up to a month). They also have a small cafe with drinks so you can feel refreshed too. Would highly recommend! :)
Vanessa J — Google review
I had a great experience at the Butterfly Farm yesterday! It was such a cute little spot. They had a little cafe to grab a coffee/smoothie/drink and a gift shop. The garden was beautiful- it was amazing seeing all of the butterflies flying around!! Josh did an awesome job as our tour guide- he really knows his stuff! Very informative and loved his energy. Thanks for a great experience!
Susie P — Google review
Don't hesitate to try this place! Such a fun and amazing experience. Its so beautiful inside, it is small but still worth the visit. The tour guide is very educational about the butterfly's life cycle. The gift shop is cute as well. Theres a nice patio before you enter where you can hang out and watch the birds play in the bird bath if you'd like before or after the butterfly experience. Your ticket includes revisits and we definitely intend to come back during our stay here in Aruba.

My wife and I came on Wednesday at 1:00pm. It was a nice little butterfly farm. We enjoyed walking around and taking pictures of all the different butterflies. There are different sitting areas around the farm. So you can sit and enjoy watching the butterflies fly around you. The entrance fee was 19 dollars per adult. You can buy yourself a smoothie before going in because it gets hot inside. There is also a cute souvenir store at the entrance.

Stopped here on morning while on my trip to Aruba; it's stunning. Something so "zen" and absolutely beautiful here, the colors, feeling of peace. Tour guide (which wasn't very long 15-30min) was a young guy, super knowledgeable, enthusiastic and entertaining!bought a banana/rum shake of some kind on my way, it was great👌. Highly recommend! Worth the stop!
Jessica C — Google review
Great for the kids! Guide was very knowledgeable and the family and I learned a lot from the many species they had. Tickets when bought allows you to return all year of you plan to go multiple times. Which I know you won't but nice to know!

My husband and I visited this wonderful little butterfly farm and spent an hour or two. Very much worth the visit and price of admission. We were given a mini tour with a very informative guide. A lovely gift shop is on site with beautiful handmade butterfly inspired jewelry. Also you pay once and can return as many times as you like while on vacation.
Wanda M — Google review
I’ve been to many other butterfly exhibits (Calloway Gardens, Butchart Gardens, Brookside Gardens) but this was even better. So many butterflies in a beautiful setting with lots of flowers and pond. The pond has fish and a little waterfall. I even went back a second day. It is hot so go early to be a little cooler. People are very nice too.

Alto Vista Chapel, located in Aruba, is a modest Catholic chapel offering an intimate space in an elevated desert landscape. It is the highest point on the island and provides stunning views of the ocean and a unique vantage point for watching the sunset. The chapel sits at an elevation of about 80 feet above sea level and offers panoramic views over Boca Prinsi, Eagle Beach, and Arikok National Park.
Started at Alto Vista Chapel which was very beautiful. I highly recommend coming early in the morning around 6-8am to avoid the ATVs as there are tons that come here as one of their attraction stops. I started at Alto Vista and completed the hike here that was about two hours. The hike consisted of walking the coastline which was absolutely beautiful and so calming. Highly recommend bringing lots of water as it is very hot and not much shade.
Shalon J — Google review
The church is in a gorgeous setting with the cacti as its background. You may go in and light a candle or sit on a bench for peaceful meditation. The inside of the church is absolutely stunning. A labyrinth is also available to walk quietly and peacefully through.
B L — Google review
Beautiful chapel on top of the hill. There’s a small vendor selling fresh coconut water—definitely worth trying. The area is surrounded by cactus plants, which make for great photos.
Santosh G — Google review
The church is in a secluded location at the top of hill and is in beautiful setting. There is also peace labyrinth here. However, I would recommend visiting here only when you are tired of everything in the island
Chandra — Google review
Absolutely a beautiful chapel that originated in the 1750s and was remodeled in 1950s. Outdoor seating for mass services, must be special during Christmas. Added to your list, worth seeing.
Albert O — Google review
Such a lovey tiny chapel that we visited to lit a candle. The candle can be brought at the grocery. I find it interesting that this chapel was completed in 1952 and stands in the same location as the original chapel, which was built by Domingo Silvestre, the Venezuelan missionary from Santa Ana de Coro, Venezuela, in 1750.

Arikok National Park, located on the east coast of Aruba, is a geologically diverse natural area that offers hiking, historic caves, and beach access. Covering about 20% of the island, it boasts an abundance of cacti and limestone caves to explore. The park is home to various wildlife such as snakes, lizards, and parakeets. Visitors can also witness nesting turtles in Boca Prins.
We were so excited to finally visit this place. We explored the trails in our rented jeep, made it to the natural pool and all I can say is WOW! The environment in general was spectacular as were the views. It was a bit tricky traversing the trails but we had experience, if you’re not comfortable using 4 wheel drive you can take an excursion guided tour. The flexibility of having the trail riding experience was awesome, we did the pool, caves, visited the beaches and exited the park at the wind mill entrance. What a beautiful place and must do when visiting Aruba.
Jay C — Google review
The scenery is beautiful. But it is not any better than the rest of the gorgeous coastline of the northeast Aruba outside of the "National Park", yet one has to pay an entry fee of $22/person (!). Compare it to the real National Parks in the US where one pays a similar amount for a car, regardless of how many people are in that car. On top of that, unless one rents a 4WD, they will charge you an arm and a leg to drive you to the Natural Pool, because they haven't built any decent road there. And the staff is very unfriendly, and there is nothing to see in the Visitor Center, and points of interest are not well marked, and... yes, they want you to hire a guide and pay more. A tourist trap.
Pavel F — Google review
Cute little park great to drive around with the car (you need a jeep if you want to go to the remove beach). Very challenging but very funny to drive if you like off road. Visit the caves …. The beaches on the ocean side (no swim allowed due to rip currents and potentially big waves).
Marco U — Google review
Highly recommend. Pleasantly surprised at how much of the park we could enjoy with a small rental car (not 4x4). Some areas of park are restricted to 4x4s, but we drove main road from visitor center to Dos Playa, caves, and then out the south entrance.
Sean N — Google review
What an amazing place! So well maintained, the staff is helpful. Take their recommendations wisely for what kind of vehicle you are using there. If visiting by regular car go slow over the drain divots! So much to see. If you want to go to the beach you will need a 4x4. There are many places to pull off for a view.
Daniel R — Google review
Multiple trips, in recent years, always a great and beautiful experience. Natural Pool Is spectacular! The whole park is an absolute must!! When U visit Aruba
Pepijn E — Google review
I would suggest making this a day trip and going early so you can experience the entire national park. You MUST have a Jeep styled 4x4 in order to access a portion of the park which includes the natural pool. They do have "taxi" style vehicle that'll take you to the natural pool but I think you're on their time. You can't leave once you're ready to go. We couldn't go that route because of the vehicle we had. Overall it was a nice scenery once you actually got near the water. Make sure you bring water! They have some for sale at the visitor center but just come prepared.
D G — Google review
The Arikok National park is a must see for anyone visiting Aruba . First thing...Rent a 4x4 SUV from a "Local" rental place (not budget ect). The experience to going through the entire park that requires it and you will miss the best parts if you don't. Take your time, it can get rough but it's fun.. You will encounter locals that look like pros and the tourist trucks so just get out the way and let them pass. Every inch of the place is beautiful and the staff at the office are very nice and knowledgeable. Bring snacks and water and a full tank of gas your ready!

Philip's Animal Garden is a non-profit sanctuary and rehabilitation center in Aruba, dedicated to the rescue and care of over 52 species of exotic animals. Visitors can enjoy interactive tours, feeding encounters, and petting sessions with a variety of creatures including snakes, kangaroos, monkeys, emus, ostriches, ocelots as well as farmyard animals like goats, pigs, horses, and donkeys.
This place is worth a visit! We went early in the morning while the caretakers were feeding the animals and they allowed us to feed the monkeys!! I was also able to hold a baby tortoise which is one of my favorite animals! Loved this place. Takes about 40 minutes to walk the entire place.
Stephanie R — Google review
My husband and I went for a visit while we were on our honeymoon. When we arrived, we were greeted quickly and received cups with treats for the animals and were told which ones we could feed. While the website mentioned a tour, we did not receive one and we weren’t sure how to find the tour; it didn’t look like anyone was on a tour when we were there, and it could have been because we visited on a Sunday, but no details were provided. The experience itself was lovely with the animals. The story itself explaining (on the website because there was no tour) was incredible to read. When we were leaving, the staff were not as friendly as we were hoping. They offered to call us a cab and were told we’d wait 15-20 minutes, but we unfortunately waited nearly an hour for a cab. Thankfully we were able to wait where there was shade! We had spoken to 3 separate people checking in for our cab and they confirmed that they had called. When we were offered by the woman inside to call us a cab, we asked if someone had spoken to her about calling one, and she had said no. It was super irritating considering the 3 people we had spoken to were at the front entrance on their phones texting. I hope to return someday with a better experience with the staff and the service. But again, the experience with the animals was super lovely. If you’re visiting consider pre-book a cab or rent a vehicle. We wish we did, we would have left in a better mood.
Vanessa J — Google review
I am a zoo fanatic. I make it my top priority to try and visit a zoo whenever I explore or visit a new place. Even though this isn't the biggest or nicest zoo I have been too. I still enjoyed myself. I love that we can feed most all the animals (Don't Feed the monkeys lol). This was an experience I will never forget. Definitely , great for the kiddos to get to feed many different animals.
Symone G — Google review
Came here to see animals. I did like the had a good variety of animals. But we wanted to feed the animals and couldn’t find anybody. Very disappointed because the animals acted like they wanted to be fed . The zoo is not super pretty but it definitely something to explore.

This was a great experience, our tour guide June was really awesome! He knew his stuff and explained the history of everything well. Would definitely recommend for everyone to try this out ! The animal sanctuary was so cool as well, I’ve never seen a camel in real life and it may have been the highlight of my day!
Maya F — Google review
I like it. You get to feed the animals. And it’s a sanctuary so some of the animals you can see are hurt. It’s a small little zoo. Nothing big. Staff is very friendly. You can see a python, snake, horses, donkeys, peacocks, baby tiger, ducks, turtles, monkeys, camels, etc.

Whether you're sipping on classic cocktails or enjoying a Cuban cigar, this bar's cozy atmosphere transports you to another era.
What a wonderful night! It is an awesome vibe with reasonably priced drinks and great entertainers on the piano. Special thanks to Susan the manager who is amazing.

This was a decent spot to have a few drinks and catch some live music. The night we were there the gentleman was talented, but was unfortunately playing some very slow songs. It would’ve been significantly better if he was playing upbeat, lively music. It seemed to draw how much older crowd, but this is not necessarily a bad thing. Servers are very nice and attentive, just wish they actually had food to snack on with all the drinks. This would likely increase their beverage sales. Overall, not a bad place.
C ( — Google review
Awesome place with love music and variety of drinks. The piano man is lots of fun and talented.
Misael R — Google review
Pretty fun place! Even though it says "piano", the night I went there was a guying playing guitar. He kept it fairly understated, no huge thrash moments, even though he did play more rocking songs when requested. The staff is friendly and attentive, and actually moving at a fast pace and getting things done, unlike half the places in Aruba where the staff seem to be moving in slow motion. There was a great vibe, very friendly and participatory. On a Saturday, it's a bit hard to get a menu and look at options, but easy enough to just shout out a drink/beer and enjoy. Everyone should at least stop by, maybe throw up a song request with a 5 and stick around a bit.
Jeff L — Google review
Perfect place to spend the evening. There's food available but did not eat. The atmosphere is amazing.

Fun place to listen to live music from Billy Joel to Zac Brown Band. The singer takes requests all night. No food just drinks & live music.
L C — Google review
Paid for a song generously we had paid our check and we’re leaving before it played. Do not expect your song to be played. Also wait until Carl testa is no longer the in house artist. His voice is like a cheese grater and consistently off beat and out of tune. Joey our server was great can’t recommend showing up when Carl isn’t playing more.

This store is conveniently located downstairs in the mall's 13A-B section.

The theme “Planet Zebes - Arrival on Crateria”, a background music theme from the game Super Metroid, is fitting for this mall. While the mall may be somewhat desolate and past its prime as of the date this review is written, there are still some places to visit there. For example, there’s Dream Bowl(Bowling Alley), Dream Land(Arcade), a bubble tea spot, jewelry stores, massage/spa spots, and a few other merchants.
Herbert H — Google review
Alright people. This place is a deserted town. There is nothing here. Just silence, garbage, and the voices inside your head. Not a spot to check out. Don’t waste your time. If you want to see a deserted mall watch 28 Days Later.

OMG, this could be a set of the next zombie apocalypse movie. This mall is pretty much abandoned. There are maybe 4 stores open, each with its own security guards. They told us that the mall declined during covid and never recovered. It does have working, free toilets. Faucets and sinks were teared out of the walls, though.

Everything was practically closed down. There was really nothing there to see. We paid $1 just to look around for 8 to 10 minutes. The shoe store that was open had some OUTRAGEOUS prices. Yes, the prices are high in Aruba, but the prices in that shoe store was just wrong. Lol My overall suggestion is just pay $1 for parking and further down on the strip are plenty of places for you to shop, eat, and enjoy yourself. 😉 @according2teau 👽🦄

Disco club
The Office Club Nightclub Aruba is the island's newest and trendiest dance destination, located near Brutto Beach Bar just off the Strip. With top-notch DJs and mesmerizing techno light displays, it's the perfect spot to let loose and dance into the late hours. Offering VIP tables, bottle service, and stellar craft cocktails, this hidden gem attracts a younger crowd up to their mid-40s.
Nice place to hold an event. I had a last-minute event.

First Friday in June, absolutely dead on the dance floor and we left at 1 AM. Fair drink prices though, good Latin and edm music, plus a really neat venue up to par with most audio visuals in other clubs around the world. Really neat bathrooms with a mosaic and window too. To make it a good time, The Office simply lacked the attendees and marketing to get them. The door should not charge a cover fee of $30 if you have nobody inside, that’s not how you get people to enter and fill up your venue. My advice is, if it’s high season and the weekend it could be a good bet, otherwise, follow the buzzword from the locals.

Certainly a hidden gem, but way too hidden. It was very difficult to find the entrance. We arrived at 10:45pm on a Friday night and the place was closed, but there was music and cool lights coming through the door apertures... We knocked on the door for about 10 minutes and finally when it opened there was no one on the dance floor. We gave it a chance for about 20 minutes, tried their drinks (they need to improve bar tender skills), danced to the awesome DJ vibes but no one joined. Left and came back after 2 hours and there were only 7 people in there... It has great potential, it just needs outdoor signs that make it more visible to the crowds. Excellent latin music btw 🤩.

Younger crowd up to mid 40 's. DJ plays set. The office is attached to a huge restaurant in the front. The office is hidden to the back. Music is mixed. We visited there around 11 and left by 12:30pm to head to South Beach which wax more my vibe. But nice place, bottle service, reserved tables. Younger crowd..probably got busy during the night.

It’s closed, don’t bother. No idea when they will be open. Too inept to change their hours on Google.
