The Indigenous Eyes Ecological Reserve, also known as Punta Cana Lagoon, is a protected ecological reserve with a focus on conservation and species repopulation. It features 12 crystal-clear springs ideal for swimming and offers scenic hiking trails through lush subtropical forests. The reserve is home to a petting zoo and natural-history exhibits, making it an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers.
What a BEAUTIFUL cenote! It's a 15 min walk through a jungle from the entrance to reach this fairytale-like swimming hole. It is deep- so bring a floaty if you're not a strong swimmer/floater. The edges have stand-able areas, but it's rocky! I wore swimming shoes and had no issues walking the terrain to get there. Definitely worth the trip!

Great place to visit although extremely hard to find the reservation. I would have rated it a five but directions to get there are confusing. Once there, if you find it, it is gorgeous. Bring your bathing suit, towel and bottle of water. It is an easy trail to walk, and a great place admire beautiful water holes (lagunas) and tropical vegetation. If you are lucky and you don’t find crowds it is a great place to meditate and look at turtles and fish. It is very well kept although an $40 dollars per person entrance fee is an steep price to pay. Try to buy a weekly pass or other cheaper alternatives since you don’t need a guide. You need to make a reservation because there is a set schedule and I assume to control crowds.
Diana P — Google review
Locally rich, calm paced excursion. We booked via the website and it was about $90 a person. They are time slotted so make sure to buy in advance. It included transport, animal visits, informational aspects, a great guide and two lagoons. It was about 2 hrs with some walking at the pace you set. If you want to experience the country without too complicated of an excursion this is for you. It’s about 20 minutes into Punta Cana, located by a resort. Would be good for kids, and the elderly in my group enjoyed it. The trails are easy to manage.

Los Ojos, the 12 natural lakes in Punta Cana, are truly a hidden gem! The water is so crystal clear that I was able to take these photos with just my iPhone, without any editing. Visiting this place was an unforgettable experience. If you plan to go, the entrance is inside Punta Cana Resort — on the right side at the gatehouse, and the fee is $50. Besides the lakes, they also have a bee farm, unique plants, iguanas, horseback riding, even swimming with horses in the ocean, an oyster farm, and a beautiful white beach nearby with a hotel. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Punta Cana — it’s a true jewel of the Dominican Republic🌿💕
Елена М — Google review
What an amazing and tranquil place! One thing lets it down and that’s price. It’s so over priced it’s unreal and if I hadn’t driven 90mins to get there I probably would’ve have paid. It’s $90 each to get in and you’re only allowed to swim in one pool (not sure how they’d police that but apparently that’s the rules). Also you need to make a reservation ahead of time. That being said we explained to the reception that we had been trying to book online and the website wasn’t working and they pulled some strings to get us in. So that’s the bad out the way. The place is stunning!!! So much nature to see and soak up!!! The cenotes are like something from a fairytale. Crystal clear waters and in most pools you will see a variety of fish and turtles that you can swim with. It’s natural so goes without saying there will be rocks. We wore swim shoes which were perfect. The pools are deep so if you’re not a confident swimmer you may want to stay near the stairs. If you are visiting Punta Cana a lot of excursions include access to this so do your research and could save yourself some $$.

This made our whole trip in the Dominican Republic. Absolutely beautiful and highly recommended. Staff is AMAZING.

I had the time of my life here. Free entry if staying within Punta Cana resort and club. Beautiful waters, plenty of space to explore, and the walking was all fairly flat, which was important as my grandparents do not walk well. Lots of turtles and fish, butterflies, birds, and one large iguana! My family and I spent over 3.5 hours swimming and exploring. Truly beautiful
Christina W — Google review
0/5 You can’t go without a guide/tour. It’s unfortunate that this natural reserve is privatized essentially only for the nearby hotels and resorts, Tortuga Bay the closest costing $1000 USD/night. All previous mentions of $10-$50 entrance are false. You can only enter through a tour for $90 USD. Only at 10am and 2pm. Seems they don’t have their story straight about timing either because the woman told me 2:30pm would be the latest time to enter, when I was there at 3pm and a previous review said the latest time to enter is 3:15pm. I didn’t find a private tour to enter this place that was cheaper than $140. If you want to do the underwater horse riding tour, there seems to be an agency right across that charges $240 for a couple to ride 1 horse. Maybe there was a point when this was a public space to admire nature. But it isn’t now, and $90 USD per person and timed entry / limited time allowed seems exorbitant even for “conservation efforts of flora and fauna.” The world’s best botanical gardens and ecological parks in the world do not charge this much.

Scape Park is a natural theme park located in the exclusive Cap Cana area. It offers a wide range of attractions, including zip lining, cave expeditions, and beach activities. The park utilizes the existing landscape to provide thrilling experiences such as horseback riding along the beach, ziplining through jungle canopies, and swimming in crystal-clear cenote waters.
An Unforgettable Family Adventure at Scape Park Cap Cana! Hands down one of the best excursions we’ve ever done as a family! From start to finish, everything was so well organized, clean, and beautifully maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and made sure everyone was safe and having fun the entire day. There’s truly something for everyone , being that it is self guided you can pick and choose how much time you spend at one activity, and how there is no limit on how many times you can do each activity. ziplining, cave exploring, swimming in the incredible cenotes, and so many other amazing activities. The natural beauty of the park is breathtaking, and the entire experience felt like a mix of adventure and paradise all in one. A few tips for future visitors: bring running shoes, water shoes, towels, and your bathing suits, you’ll need them! You’ll be in and out of the water, hiking, and exploring all day long, and will get wet along the way! Plan for that! The stops along the trails and between the activities that had drinks, snacks and water was awesome as well! So helpful! Bring a waterproof phone case too! We’ve done excursions all over, but this one stands out above the rest. Scape Park Cap Cana is an absolute must-do! 🌴💦
Amanda B — Google review
We had fun but in general the park was little bit disappointing for what you paid for. The zip lining runs on a schedule (is not always open) you’ll paid $130 for a ticket and you will have to come back at their hours if you want to experience it. Be prepared to do some walking. The monkeys experience is too commercial. You’ll going to see 2 squirrels monkeys and you are not allowed to take pictures. If you want to have a memory of this experience you’ll have to pay another $150 for the photos. The splash hammocks were fun for my kids. The cave was also nice. The green all around the park is beautiful, the water. The rope runners was also cool. Bring your own locks or you’ll have to rent one. Besides the things that we didn’t like we had a great family time!
Natalia F — Google review
Beautiful setting, but disappointing experience overall! We were told that no outside food or drinks were allowed, yet many visitors around us brought their own without issue. Once inside, we learned you need to bring or buy a lock for the lockers, since you can’t take bags on the ziplines. There are also areas where you’re not allowed to take your own photos, and some “mandatory” photo stops mean you’ll have to purchase the pictures later. You can bring your phone to take photos, but it will likely get wet. The park conveniently sells waterproof phone cases for $17—poor quality and something that costs just a few dollars online. The attractions are spread out and require a fair amount of walking on uneven terrain. That would be fine if the experiences were truly impressive, but most were underwhelming. Especially the areas with animals were amazingly small and unnatural. The main highlights were the ziplines—especially the “Superman” one—and the zipline drop into the lake with waterfalls, which was genuinely fun. The positive side was that the park wasn’t crowded, so there were no lines. However, the overall value isn’t great: you pay a high admission price and still end up spending more on extras that aren’t clearly mentioned beforehand. It can be a nice day trip to get off the resort, but it’s not worth the cost during high season. If you do go, come prepared: wear sturdy shoes (water shoes work but aren’t ideal) and be ready for some physical activity. Ultimately, there are better and more worthwhile attractions in the Dominican Republic for the same—or less—money.
Rik R — Google review
Great day away from the resort. We enjoyed the zip lining as a family(kids 7 and 11), swimming in the blue hole and exploring the park! We spent about three hours there and did a lot of walking!! If you decide to hike to the cenote/blue hole, take your towels and be prepared for a LONG walk there and back on rough terrain! It's beautiful but make sure you feel it's worth the hike 😉 😉. I'm not sure we would do that part again...it's close to 2 miles r/t and not easy for little ones without tennis shoes. It was a fantastic day!
Ashley G — Google review
Great place with so much to do. The superman zip line is totally worth the visit. I wish they had more lockers as it is kind of hard to figure out when to change to swimwear. Wear proper shoes as there is a lot of walking
Lucie L — Google review
Scape park was awesome! So many things to do you could spend days here. The only problem was that the cave swim was not open when we went to it during July. This was the thing we really wanted to do but when we got there there were no staff members around. Otherwise this was a wonderful trip with ziplines and animals and a culture route to learn about dominican history, there is truly something for everyone. It is not suitable for those with mobility issues due to the size of the park and the number of steps.
Zoe W — Google review
We visited Scape Park during our honeymoon. Overall, it was decent — a fun way to spend the day — but definitely a tourist trap, so if that’s not your thing, avoid it at all costs. We went in October, and the place was practically empty, which was great. No lines, no crowds, and no waiting for any of the attractions. I would not want to visit when it’s busy! We swam in the cave, which was really cool, and did the ATV ride, which both my husband and I loved. Our guide was great and made the experience even better. We also visited the waterfalls, which were beautiful and perfect for a refreshing swim. We didn’t make it to the Blue Hole, but it looked worth the walk if you have time. The monkey and parrot islands were small and underwhelming — definitely skippable. My biggest gripe is the photo policy. You’re not allowed to take photos in several areas, and they heavily push the overpriced photo packages. It feels like a total scam. If you’re into zip lining, this park might be amazing for you — there are tons of options. We skipped those since it’s not our thing. I would recommend bringing your own lock for the lockers, swim shoes if you have them, and snacks. I probably wouldn’t go back, but we enjoyed our visit overall. It was a nice break from the hotel and only a short drive away.
Leah H — Google review
The staff is really nice! And all the pictures they took for you along the park are totally worth it, is a day full of fun and adventure. I would highly recommend bringing your water shoes with you, and a lock, there's a bit of wait for the attractions and some of the are close certain times a day. But is just about you finding the next one and that's all. The people all over the park is really nice, especially the senor in pueblo dominicano that was explaining to us how used to be the life in Dominican Republic in the very little towns he even gave us coffee that he cultivates! Is totally worth it, don't forget your repellent, you would certainly need it.

Bavaro Beach, located in Punta Cana, is a popular and stunning destination known for its calm turquoise waters and pristine white sand. This beach offers kilometers of fine white sands, crystal clear waters with turquoise blue tones, and lush vegetation including long rows of palm trees along the coast. Visitors can enjoy various activities such as sailing, snorkeling, and diving.
Visited twice in the past 2 to 3 years. Very nice. Open to the public. I walked here from Hotel Punto 4. 45 minutes. Lots of resorts.

Very pretty beach with white sand and palm trees. There is a nice swimming area with many restaurants, shops and water activities close by. We really enjoyed our time here!

Stunning. The colour of the water is why we travel for 10hrs on a plane to the Carribean. A lot of resorts, water sports, bars and restaurants around. Basically everything you need. It's a must visit if you traveling to Punta Cana or DR in general.

Disco club
Coco Bongo Punta Cana, situated in the Downtown Mall of Bavaro, offers an unforgettable experience with its vibrant and entertaining live shows that combine iconic Hollywood films, Broadway musical pieces, and theater performances. This adult-only disco is known for its thrilling atmosphere and diverse admission options. It's considered the best nightclub in Punta Cana due to its language-friendly environment, top-notch security, and reasonable prices.
What an amazing experience! The show was FANTASTIC! This show had it all! From Beetlejuice, Furiosa, The Mask, Freddie Mercury, Michael Jackson + more. Great sets and costumes. Terrific sound system. My only suggestion is get there early if you have the standard ticket. If you can afford the upgrade to VIP DO IT! Definitely worth it
David R — Google review
The procedure to get a ticket is really unnecessary, takes a lot of time and is not convenient or efficient. All presentations are amazing for the mezzanine you can really enjoy the whole performance perfectly, the actors, dancers and all performers put a lot of effort for that incredible act. On the other hand, the place is so full that makes it impossible to get out, the people are soooooo push into the bar that you can barely breath no safe the quantity of people they put in this place. Honestly there should some kind of limitation or regulation. The cocktails were fine, and the food was regular.
Juliana — Google review
Atmosphere was great. Loved the show a d the energy was unmatched. Definitely would not go for food but I think that's the point. Drink were pretty weak as well. But again excellent show
Shatasia J — Google review
Must see. Great show. Not really disco. But lots of fun and amazing entertainment. VIP package not needed. Not so special. Only if you want to sit down.
Kevin M — Google review
Where do I begin... it was a catastrophe from the very start! 1. Zero clarity on where to line-up to check in and then zero clarity on where to line-up to enter the venue. 2. Venue reps constantly harass you to purchase "skip the line" tickets at $15. 3. MASSIVELY overcrowded to the point it's a mass casualty incident waiting to happen. 4. Impossible to see the show if you're on the ground floor and near the centre stage. Absolutely no view of the upper stage whatsoever. 5. The acts lasted only a few minutes each. 6. The drinks are watered down. The rum had barely any taste and the vodka with mixer tasted like juice. 7. The PUSHING! I was moving from the toilet past the stairs towards the bar so I could get back to my friends. A security guard pushed me away from the stairs so I shouted at him "I'm going that way" and pointed at my friends. A second security guard then pushed me away from the stairs again as I was trying to make my way through the crowd so I turned and pushed him back (almost got myself kicked out). He shouted something at me in Spanish so I got closer to him and shouted "do NOT PUSH me" in his face then turned and moved away. If you really want to go, then maybe spending more money on an upgraded package/ticket is worth it.
L F — Google review
We have been to the DR 4 times but this was our first time coming to Congo Bongo. I would definitely recommend seeing this show if you have not - it’s not quite like any other show. Sort of half Vegas act / half night club. We did the Front Row ticket which meant no line to enter, a reserved seat in a prime location, and top shelf liquor. The food was an added bonus but not anything special. Carlos on the wait staff was awesome! He hooked us up 11/10 service. Thanks Carlos!
Realtor B — Google review
Coco Bongo Disco Punta Cana is an unforgettable nightlife experience that goes far beyond a simple nightclub. From the moment you walk in, you’re transported into a world of spectacular performances, dazzling light shows, and non-stop music. The mix of live acrobatics, tribute shows to world-famous artists, and energetic DJ sets keeps the crowd dancing all night. The atmosphere is electric, with a perfect blend of tourists and locals all enjoying the party together. Drinks flow freely, the service is friendly, and the energy never drops. If you’re in Punta Cana and want an extraordinary night out filled with entertainment, dancing, and pure fun, Coco Bongo is a must-visit.

I hate clubs but this is amazing experience. I highly reccomend that vip for entrance as you are not packed with other people and can just sit and enjoy the shows. The drinks are bad quality but the fun is worth it

Bodies of Water
Hoyo Azul, also known as the Blue Hole, is a breathtaking natural sinkhole with crystal-clear turquoise waters located in the midst of a lush forest in the Dominican Republic. Accessible via a rainforest hike, this 14-meter deep lagoon offers visitors an opportunity to immerse themselves in its vivid blue waters after trekking through the native flora and fauna. The site features a spectacular 75-meter cliff covered by vegetation, adding to its magical allure.
Pricey but well worth the money for the memories and adventures. The Hoya Azul itself is about a half mile walk up into the Jungle. I would also suggest going on the hottest day possible because that water is ice cold. Definitely bring swim shoes and comfortable walking shoes because the scuba shoes hurt your feet on the trail. Please note this is not a park for the faint of heart or young children under 12 or so. With that said there is a lot here to do and see if you like extreme adventures.
LaShawn D — Google review
Great time for our family!!!! Bring sun screen, bug spray and water to drink. Price was reasonable for what we were able to do all day. Guides and staff were friendly, kind and helpful. Our family of six were able to park for free. Pay and get in the park very quickly. The staff will convert your payment into Dominican pesos quickly and let you know what you are spending in dollars. My favorite was jumping into the “Oyó Azul”. Cool and refreshing. Bring walking shoes that can get wet. Towels, backpack and a credit card were safe in the lockers that were guarded by a staff members. We had fun and felt safe as a family!!!!! Grasias para todo. Lo pasamos muy bien.

A little smaller than expected with a bit of a hike to get there, but beautiful! Life jackets available once you get down there. Water is cold and refreshing.

Perfect blue waters, It's exactly as seen in the pictures. You'll feel like flying, Prepare to walk for a while and be mindful that's a bit small. It was crowded when we went, so we had to wait in line to jump inside, but it was totally worth it. #recommended @Aventure.dos

I went here on an excursion. Spent a lot of time getting there. I was a little disappointed. It's kinda small and when I went out was very crowded. Little room to swim or enjoy it. It was beautiful but not what I expected.
Harry J — Google review
It's worth seeing but probably not worth spending a ton of time at. It's fun to jump (10 feet?) into the water, but the water is cold because there is no direct sunlight and the swimming space isn't very big.
J F — Google review
This place was beautiful. If you go late in the day you can get the place to yourself. It's super magical. Jump of the ledge and it won't seem cold.

They closed the gates and we stuck there. They requested us to pay a bribe of $350 to open the gates. Had to brake it to escape. Then they were chasing us on a car with a shotgun. Tried to kill or smth. But we drove away They charge 69$ for this cinote which is a lot. You can go to other similar places and pay $4/pp. its kind of a scam

Juanillo Beach is a stunning and serene destination located in the exclusive area of Cap Cana, Punta Cana. It boasts a long stretch of fine white sand, shallow turquoise waters, and rows of palm trees that create a picturesque tropical landscape. The beach is ideal for families with children due to its calm and protected waters, making it perfect for swimming and relaxation. Visitors can access the beach through the gate of Cap Cana or enjoy public access during the day.
The beach is wonderful, with an area in front of the Juanillo beach club that includes a server for ordering drinks and food. The restaurant starts service around 11am. The drinks were really good. I ordered a coco loco and beers. The beers were super cold. As for the beach, the water is crystal clear, warm and the beach was basically sargasso-free which is something I liked. I would recommend going early around 8-9am to get the best spots right in front of the ocean for the most relaxing experience.
Isadora M — Google review
We went there in the end of August and we have noticed a lot of sargassum. Now, I know sargassum is a worldwide problem, but we only saw the beach being cleaned up once a day in the morning, so by afternoon it is full of sargassum again. I saw other places doing more about it. It certainly did not feel luxurious. Another thing I disliked is that they clean the sargassum but they dump it at the beach entrance, so it smells really bad doesn't matter where the wind is coming from. Also, many places of the beach is actually made by concrete and not sand, it is hard on your feet and you may get hurt if not wearing appropriate shoes, and it also creates a virtual sensation about the beauty of the place. Last but not least, this is a private beach dedicsted to Cap Cana residents, to get in you either gotta pay or be staying inside the condo.

What was a last minute/quick weekend trip ended up being the most needed restful beach day that I could've spent. This beach was amazing. Please if you're ever in PC stop by and spend a day.

Beautiful relaxing atmosphere. Great food. Good service. I enjoyed it. But, unfortunately, I have to be honest. I was very upset when the bill came. Reason being and I WARN you, they tagged our food with a 28% hike above what is on the menu. And this is aside from the ITB tax and the automatically added tip. Highway robbery, I’d say. I dont mind paying whatever price as long as its same on the menu. It was not a seasonal or non-priced item. Just be aware. Sorry CapCana. Not a nice way to make money.

The beach was beautiful. The beach has white soft sand. There were cabanas to sit or lay under for shade. They had servers available to guide you or bring you food and drinks. There were bathrooms available. The water was barely cool. They have a swimming area that is blocked off from the waves of the ocean. We found some rocks and coral. One of the larger rocks had plants growing on it with a couple cute little white crabs and a snail.

Great beach! Not too busy, always somewhere to sit/lay, provides great shade options, and the bar/food options are delicious. The staff are very attentive and will lead you to seats that are open. We had the same waiter 3 days in a row, and he was amazing. Highly recommend Juanillo Beach

It is a great golf course. Many enthusiastic golf players dream to play this course. It is a little bit expensive, but it worth playing here. Every single hole is very scenic. Caddies are well trained and know how to play the holes. Do not forget to pay tips to them in cash after your play, 25-40 tips are expected.

The most beautiful golf course I’ve had the chance to play. Very stunning vistas. Pricey but well worth the greens fees amount. The greens have a lot of contours that I missed, so having the caddy (Tom) was a big help. Practice area is 1st class…locker rooms are amazing…course conditions were fantastic for July 2024. The shuttle pick up was on time and fast from Zilara/Ziva resort.

What an incredible place!!! A short ride from our resort ( Secrets Cap Cana ) and we were immediately greeted by their welcoming staff. The pro shop was well stocked. The course had a large practice facility. You can practice chipping, putting and the driving range allowed you to hit every club in the bag. The facility offered modern ammenities. Clean locker rooms and showers. The beverage cart was present almost every 3 -4 holes. The cold towel after the round was much appreciated. Our caddie ( a must specially for first timers ) - Jorge was experienced and very knowledgeable. A Jack Nicklaus design. The course offers interesting challenges and incredible views. The signature par 3, 200 yds (from the gold tees) over the water is worth a few photos. Now I completely understand why it was ranked #35 in the world (Golf Digest). Can’t wait to come back!!!

Bavaro Adventure Park in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic is a sprawling 110-acre eco-friendly park offering a wide range of exhilarating activities for the whole family. Nestled in natural woods, the park features zip lines, bungee cords, paintball, a flying simulator, Segway circuit, and more.
We attended bavaro adventure park on April 23rd under Bradley Webb. I wanted to share our experience. We arrived looking forward to a great adventure and that is exactly what we experienced. We started off on the Polaris ride with Carlos as our guide it was so fun and Carlos was great we really enjoyed the stop at the cenote and learning how it was created then onto the Dominican village and got to see the houses and culture I absolutely enjoyed trying the coffee and hot chocolate so good, and purchased some of the coconut products. Then we enjoyed a Dominican lunch loved the chicken so did my husband and our daughter it’s nice to try authentic foods in the country your visiting. We then enjoyed a nice horseback ride I love horses and being from Alberta Canada horses are our life. Next was zip lining not gonna lie I was a bit scared I’m terrified of heights but up I went first so there was no way I could back out and I absolutely loved it so did my husband and daughter, we did stop at crossing the bridge but that was by our own choice I would of kept going but that bridge was my stopping point, I was just to scared but that’s a me issue not the park issue. Then we enjoyed the lazy river and the swimming pool. My family is so glad we did this excursion it was an absolutely great day and great memories trying new things.
Lynne M — Google review
Spent most of the day here today (2 adults) the park itself is unexpectedly vast, guides are very welcoming, friendly, and very funny! We were lucky to have Carlos taking us round the resort - lovely, polite, passionate and knowledgeable gentleman. We did the buggy rides which far exceeded are expectations - plenty of time for both myself and partner to have sufficient time on the buggies to really enjoy it. Two stops - first one approximately 20 minutes at the cenotes which was fantastic and a short talk by Carlos about the history of the area was welcomed. Second stop was for lunch where there is a lovely shaded area you can enjoy a Dominican meal included in the price - as someone that doesn’t usually eat meat it was very enjoyable and we both finished the lot! The jungle river was awesome to finish off the buggies in a relaxed manner, we then headed to the waterfall where there is also a bar for refreshments. Would highly recommend and will certainly return when visiting the Dominican again! **what we didn’t realise before going was you went allowed phones at all on the buggies - however there is someone around for each activity taking plenty of photos which are a very reasonable price at the end!

This is definitely something the DR put together for tourist. The water areas were beautiful but if you're not a fan of bugs, the water is not for you. The pool area was the only place where the bugs was very minimal. Everything else had a lot of leaves and dead spiders, bugs, etc. Wanted to do an excursion with my daughter for her 22nd birthday but she did not do anything at this park because of the bugs. We ended up leaving early. She only did the pool. The photos they post are being but you don't see the bugs and things in the water. If you're not afraid of bugs and leaves, etc, then this is for you.

My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Bavaro Adventure Park in Punta Cana, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to the Dominican Republic. We booked the Polaris Adventure and Horseback Riding Combo, and the experience exceeded all of our expectations! From the moment we were picked up from our resort (right on time!) to the time we left, the entire day was seamless, exciting, and incredibly well organized. The check-in process at the park was smooth, and we were immediately struck by how friendly, welcoming, and professional every single staff member was. Everyone spoke great English, greeted us warmly, and made us feel like VIP guests — they looked you in the eye, asked your name, and made genuine connections. Such a rare and wonderful touch! Highlights of the Experience: • Polaris Off-Road SXS Ride: Driving through muddy jungle terrain was so much fun! It was adventurous but never felt out of control. • Blue Cenote Swim: Absolutely stunning and refreshing. A serene break during the adrenaline-packed day. • Cultural Gift Shop Stop: A great little presentation on how Dominican coffee, hot chocolate, and mamajuana are made — with tastings included! We happily purchased a few items to bring home. • Delicious Dominican Lunch: Flavorful and authentic, it was a perfect break in the day. • Zip Lining: This was my first time zip lining, and I was honestly nervous — but the staff made me feel completely safe and supported. They were serious about safety protocols, which I truly appreciated. The multiple zips, including a canopy bridge and a final splash into water, were thrilling! • Lazy River Tubing & Waterfall Pool: Such a relaxing way to wind down the day. Beautiful surroundings and just a lot of fun. Although we opted out of the horseback riding portion simply due to personal preference, it was nice to have the flexibility in the schedule. Photography & Memories: Phones weren't allowed during the adventure for safety reasons (a decision I totally respect), but they had multiple professional photographers capturing moments throughout the day. We ended up purchasing the digital photo package with 59 amazing shots — totally worth it to relive the memories! Final Thoughts: I can't recommend Bavaro Adventure Park enough. It offers a full day of adventure, culture, nature, and relaxation — all wrapped up in world-class service and hospitality. Whether you’re an adrenaline junkie or just looking to explore the beauty of the Dominican Republic in a safe and fun environment, this park has something for everyone. 10/10 — Would absolutely do it again!
Roxi K — Google review
From the very beginning you don’t know how to behave, what to wear, which attraction comes first or what’s next. Total chaos, the staff give conflicting information. You’re not allowed to take your phone – they say it’s for safety, but that’s not true. They just want your money. You can’t bring a phone, flip-flops, or a backpack, so you’re forced to buy a locker. Cost: $7 or $10. Photos cost $100, which is completely absurd. The buggy/Polaris ride is extremely boring, you drive in a line behind others very slowly. You must wear closed shoes, flip-flops are not allowed. The first stop is a lagoon where you’re supposed to swim… in closed shoes! You never know how much time you have or when you’re leaving for the next activity. The next stop is the “Dominican village,” which is a total scam. You’re forced to take part in a “tasting” – coffee samples like at Costco – and waste 30 minutes of your life listening to them advertise their products. Then, still soaking wet, you get back on the buggy/Polaris and continue. You end up at the lobby with no clue where to go next or what to wear. At 11:50am they take you for lunch. You wait in line, still wet, the food isn’t ready. Lunch is included in the price, but drinks are not – even water costs extra. You don’t know how much time you have to eat or what the next attraction will be. Then they finally take you to the zipline, where suddenly flip-flops are allowed. On the last line you land straight into the water, so once again you’re completely wet. Then, still dripping, you go horseback riding – this time in flip-flops. The horseback ride was terrible: lots of manure, tons of flies, very slow, too many people and way too close together. Apart from the buggy/Polaris and horses, the other attractions were actually fun, but the overall impression was terrible. One big scam.
Adrian — Google review
The rating is not for the adventure activities, but more so for the extreme disorganization with them and the rudeness of certain tour guides with me. Thomas was introduced as our tour guide but we only seen him on the buggies and didn’t see him anymore after we put on life vest for the sacred river which there was no instructions given just followed a path and follow everybody else. Nobody knew what to expect and people had on their gymshoes and didn’t get a chance to change out of them because they told us that for every activity we will come back to the lobby and you can change and go to your lockers. I have never been to a Caribbean island and felt prejudice being Black until I got to Punta Cana. I was told by Dominican Americans that Dominicans will make sure I have a good time as they love Americans. This was not my experience! I was ignored as I was by myself celebrating my birthday with a birthday shirt on. I tried to sit with other people or walk with them to make sure that I wasn’t forgotten. The direct rudeness was when I went to ride the horses. I walked the trail by myself trying to follow signs because I was told just to go and walk down that way over there. Walking through a jungle not sure where you’re going and there’s nobody else around didn’t feel secure or safe. I followed the path until I got to the barn and then I heard other people come in so I waited. I walked with the other Americans to the place where the horses were. There was a guide standing there telling us we had to put helmets on for the horses. I was the first one there in front of him. He ignored me and began to put the helmet on the young girl behind me. I didn’t think much of it, but you stood there and waited. After her, he proceeded to put the helmet on her boyfriend so I just looked at them because they were behind me so he had to step past me to do this. They walked and sat down. I’m standing by myself with him waiting for a helmet, and he starts fooling around. Now a group of guys walks up Behind me and they were just chatting and not paying attention. The guy proceeds to put the helmet on them. So I said to him, do you not see me standing here and everyone looked at me the other guides and the guest. He proceeded to not say anything, but put the helmet on the guys so I walked away and sat down and the picture you see that the photographer took is of me sitting down without a helmet on because he did not put my helmet on for the horse. When I got up To step up on the horse, the other guide says, you know you need a helmet on and he had a smirk on his face, and I looked at him and said you know good and well that he did not put a helmet on my head & you heard me say something and he said yes, but you still need one so I’ll go get you one. None of them check the rude behavior of their peers like it was common. I had to also ask the photographer to take pictures of me because he was not taking pictures of me. The famous zip lining down into the water, they let us go one at a time so that they can capture the picture of each one coming down. When I came down to the water, the photographer was standing there, looking at me, not even holding the camera up so he did not take my picture so while other people have many pictures in their package, I had 26 pictures but because they were multiples of the same shot they were only about 7. When getting my pictures, I asked the One who spoke English and was selling the pictures where are my other pictures for the other activities and he said well we are still uploading and don’t worry, you will have them sent to you in the email the next day. That is when I saw about 26 pictures of multiple shots and only about seven being different. The guides had the audacity to say that they work for tips! I bring singles $5 and $10 usd with me to tip when I go to countries that I know are relying on tourism and this is the first time ever that I returned back home to the United States with 80% of my tip money.

We had so much fun at Bávaro Adventure Park! We went on a rainy day and had a blast riding the buggies through the puddles! Highly recommend going on a rainy day! Our tour guide, Carlos was amazing! We loved stopping at the Dominican Village and tasting the coffee, cigars, hot chocolate, and mamajuana. We also were provided with a delicious lunch of chicken, rice, beans, and fried plantains. After lunch we went on the horseback riding trail and all of the staff were helpful and upbeat! We had a great time!

Service was very good. Juan took great care of us. We got the mahi mahi and the langostino pasta. It was one of the best meals we had all week staying at an all-inclusive resort. Very comfortable outdoor beach facing vibe, and they covered it up in the evening when it started raining, it was fun. Highly recommend.

I’ve been here three times already, and it never disappoints. The view is absolutely stunning one of the best beachfront settings in Punta Cana. Beautiful view, good service, the food portions are okay but no taste at all, we got the sea food platter and it was way to over cooked, VERY rubbery and dry unfortunately. But the view is amazing, the drinks are very good as well. Definitely on the prices end, paid around $200US for 2 people. 1 app 1 meal 2 drinks.

Good lobster with butter and garlic sauce, but a little overcooked. There is no place to eat inside, and we asked to change tables because leaves, flowers and insects were falling from the plants above. We took advantage of the sun loungers and parasols on the beach, which were included with lunch, but when we asked the first waiter, he told us it wasn't possible. The second waiter was very kind and brought us our personal wristbands. Prices were a little high, but it was a nice experience. The beach was very clean and well worth it. In the evening, when everything is lit up, the place is very romantic. The road to access and the parking were awful.

The place is amazing and the service is top tier ✨ I enjoyed the sushi and pasta a lot! The burger could’ve been more seasoned, it was just okay… wings were good but the ranch dressing was too watery. The money you pay upon entry goes towards your food bill and you pay the difference for whatever goes over the amount. Overall I love the place! Would go again and again!!! Very good deal! We paid $200 for a poolside, covered, bungalow and that $200 went toward food and drink credits. There's music, wifi, and power outlets. This is a great place to spend the day. There are 2 pools and beach access. It gets crowded at 4 so I recommending arriving before 2 unless you like crowds.

I like this place I’m visiting often for more than three years. It’s a nice oasis far from the noise and hustle, compared to the other Punta Cana beaches. It used to be $30 for a person and now they rise it to 50$ for a minimum consumption. Which is OK in most of the cases but sometime I want to pass for one or two hours just not enough time to fulfill the $50 minimum requirement. It’s always been music at the pool area and sometime they organize, dancing and other events. I don’t know why lately they moved the the DJ and the speakers next to the beach chairs and it’s very loud. The previous way was better.. because people are trying to relax at the beach area and now I cannot make conversation with my friends just Too noisy. This just come back maybe from there complaining the noise cannot sleep used to be better. I give three stars for the service for the reason that the waiters trying softly to cheating in the check.. so visitors ask for your receipts and check out what is in there. Despite of that, that’s my favorite place in the area.. in one of the important things the management responding to most of the comments . It’s nice to know that your opinion is being taken..

This place is amazing, the beach is great and the club is well maintained, clean and full of amenities like 2 pools, beach access and the restaurant. I guess I was just so unlucky because when I went there they had no FISH/SEAFOOD at all… only the fried fish available. Of course form a beach club you expect to have lots of seafood options, but having NONE from the menu, was quite disappointing. Service to be improved definitely; the guys on the Beach are doing a great job, but they need to be more attentive and know what the guest needs. I waited more than 10 minutes to receive my cutleries for the fish, to then eat it cold. If you arrive by Uber there’s a gate, show them your reservation and they’ll open for you. Once leaving the club, check with the security to let your Uber coming in to pick you up.

We called ahead to make a reservation 4 times. They answered and hung up. By the 5th call we had to get our front desk to make the call for us because they clear only respect locals. One person told us it was open for food and no reservation needed. So we spent money and went. The guard at the gate told us reservation only & they were only accepting old people ???? We asked to speak to a manager and he waved us off. Tourism clearly come here regularly. So as a tourist destination please figure out how to have staff who can communicate properly. Or just keep it for Spanish speaking guests. Very frustrating!!!

Arena Gorda is a beautiful beach, especially at sunrises. There was some seaweed, but the hotel we were staying at (Bahia Principe Grand Punta Cana) did a good job cleaning it. I believe most hotels do. We were staying at our hotel at Punta Cana for two weeks. As we really wanted to see the difference between the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, we explored 6 more beaches (including famos La Romana, Bayahibe, and Boca Chica) on a rented car. We didn't really feel the big difference between the ocean and the sea. We haven't been to Saona, though.

Airport
Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) is a major hub with direct flights from over 28 countries and 96 cities worldwide. It's conveniently located just a short drive from Bavaro Beach, making it an ideal entry point for travelers to the Dominican Republic. The airport offers various amenities, including a VIP lounge that provides food, beverages, and clean facilities. Additionally, there are budget hotels nearby offering comfortable accommodations with air-conditioned rooms and balcony views.
This airport is very clean, efficient, and helpful for tourists that may not speak Spanish. They have availability to assist passengers that may have disabilities or the necessity for a wheelchair. They have an assortment of options for food, such as Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Cinnabon, and Nathan‘s. I was hoping they would have a food vendor with authentic Dominican food, but they did not. Bathrooms are relatively clean, TSA was slightly messy and unorganized, although efficient enough if on a time crunch.

Overall my experience was good. The airport was definitely different than what I have experienced. The plane unloads on the tarmac and does not pull up to a gate. They bring the stairs/ramp over to you and then you take a bus to get over to customs. Inside the airport the luggage came out quick but there were a lot of sales people as you try to leave the airport selling tours and transportation. I was looking for our car service and was very annoyed I thought we found them and the girl escorted us to a whole different company trying to sell tours and hotels. On the way back to the airport the experience was not as great. They are outdated with no intercom system and we could not hear the attendance over the crowds of people when our group was called. We again had to take a bus to take to the plane. This part was not great because they had two sets for stairs to get on the plane and we had to carry the luggage up the stairs. The backs stairs did not have a ramp. It was a beautiful day out and I wondered what the experience would be had it rained there was no coverage. Overall decent experience compared to other airports I have been to but they definitely need a few upgrades especially an intercom system.

As someone who travels approximately one-third of the year and has visited countless airport lounges worldwide, I can confidently say the VIP Lounge at Punta Cana International Airport is truly one of the best I've encountered. What sets this lounge apart are its unique amenities that you simply don't find elsewhere. The swing pool is an absolute game-changer – I've never seen anything like it in any other airport lounge. It's the perfect way to relax and unwind before a flight, especially in the Caribbean climate. The lounge also features multiple private areas, which is a thoughtful touch that provides flexibility whether you need a quiet space to work, want to relax with family, or prefer a more social atmosphere. The variety of spaces really caters to different traveler needs. Beyond these standout features, the overall experience exceeded my expectations. The lounge offers a level of comfort and luxury that makes the wait for your flight genuinely enjoyable rather than just bearable. If you're flying through Punta Cana, I highly recommend accessing this VIP lounge. It's worth every penny and sets a new standard for what airport lounges can offer.

Overall nice airport. Spacious waiting areas. The best part is they have very nice play area for kids so it’s very helpful for families travelling with small kids.

This airport is definitely 5 star rating! Very clean, lots of options for food, the customs process was very simple, transportation was very helpful and the VIP Lounge was very cool! Check out the pool!
Ashley H — Google review
Not a very big airport. No air conditioning on arrival at baggage claim area. No air brigades. Deplaning and boarding done with the use of busses or on foot between the airplane and the terminal. They use the mobile ramps instead of the jet stairs with much easier way to get on it if the aircraft. Departure and check-in areas are air conditioned. Few duty free stores in departure area. Few fast food restaurants like Wendy's, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and few others. A little open terrace area at the food court popular with smokers. Not like there is a better choice. It is what it is.
J B — Google review
Clean and straightforward airport with the essentials for international travel. Services inside are slow but smooth. The only drawback came when exiting, where aggressive demands for tips about luggage and transport created an unwelcoming first impression.

BUSY BUSY! Typical airport hassle and crowded! Very organized with staff that knows exactly what is going on and wheee to go! Very cleaned and modern. The workers are very helpful. Lots of customs to go through before boarding. Plentiful restaurants and shops for souvenirs. And of course lots of areas for people to get comfortable before flight.

If you have a limited rounds to play in Punta Cana. This is a must! Only negatives I found, Prices for drinks are high. Proshops memorabilia is a bit lacking.

It is a great golf course. Good caddies, and strategic holes. Compared with Punta Espada, it has only a few scenic holes, but it is affordable at around US$165 and worth playing. Do not forget to bring US$60-80 cash for caddy fee plus tips. You directly pay to your caddy.

La Cana surprised me in the best way. The ocean holes were beautiful, and the course was in great shape overall. It’s not as hyped as Teeth of the Dog, but honestly, it was more fun and relaxed. Great value, friendly staff, and perfect for a vacation round.

My wife had a massage here, I spent time at the pool and on the beach and we had dinner here 2 nights at the grill. The grill is beautiful and service is excellent. The food here is better than the Westin and the chef does a fantastic job on the pizzas, sandwiches and fish. The restaurant is. Little pricey but everything is here at the resort. It is worth it. The pear pizza is the best

We had an amazing experience, Wilken and the crew were so friendly, helpful and sooooooooo much fun. They went above and beyond to keep us entertained. We highly recommend this tour. We had a party of 17 people, all different ages and we had the best time. Definitely the highlight of our trip. Thank you guys!!!

This excursion was amazing from start to finish. George who was our guide was the star of the day, extremely kind, funny and knows how to keep people engaged throughout. Pick up was prompt and we set off to the first snorkelling stop. I absolutely loved the snorkelling as there was a vast array of fish and they came up really close. It was so beautiful.  We couldn't go to the CocoLoco Beach due to the seaweed situation but Jason, the guy who cuts the coconuts open for the coconut drinks came to on the catamaran to do it. The drinks were nice and light on rum which was good. Then the floating kitchen arrived with our lunch. Very tasty and good portions too of Seafood (lobster, fish, prawns and grilled octopus with chips). The drinks flowed freely all through the excursion and all members of staff worked hard to ensure we had a great time. Great music on board throughout too. Had a final stop at a shallow natural pool where most people had a relaxing dip in the sea. Even though it rained for a while during the excursion, it didn't impact on the overall fun in any way. This company certainly knows how good excursions should be run. Highly recommended.👌🏾

Amazing tour with amazing people, views and drinks & food! Wilkin, Raymond & Jason truly made the experience so fun and memorable. My dad lost his wedding ring when he jumped in the ocean and the guys immediately jumped in to find it and they got it! They taught him how to snorkel and took us to really cool parts of the ocean to see the most beautiful reef & fish. Will definitely be back for this tour. Do yourselves a favor and book it! You will make amazing memories with your family ♥️

Our family of 12 took a private cruise on Santa Maria or “Grandma” (boat with the slide). I was concerned that it would be in less than ideal shape because it said online it was an older boat in their fleet, but I was well-maintained, clean and tidy. The captain, Odalis, was friendly and pointed out lots of wildlife. Juana, the bartender/server, was attentive and kind especially to our little ones (they loved ordering their own drinks). Wilkin and Daury took us snorkeling and assisted the kids (7,9,10 & 11) with their gear, helped them feel comfortable in the water, and took tons of pictures of us. We all had a wonderful time and this crew made it the highlight of our entire trip to DR. We will look back on this experience for years to come! The “machete man” cutting coconuts on the beach, the dancing lessons on the front deck of the boat, and the tasty lunch that even the kid’s enjoyed were other great parts of our day. Wilkin and Daury kept smiles on all the faces our entire trip, and are worth their weight in gold. Such a great value and couldn’t recommend it more- thank you for a great experience.

Playa Macao is a picturesque beach located just a 30-minute drive north of Bavaro Beach. It's renowned for its clear waters, palm trees, and fine sand, making it one of the Caribbean's best beaches according to UNESCO. Unlike other nearby beaches, Playa Macao is open to the public and lacks all-inclusive resorts. The strong waves make it an ideal spot for surfing, with a surf school available for beginners.
best beach in the area. clean, beautiful, big waves, a bit of shadow everywhere. not too many people who wanna sell you something. my bf and I had so much fun. parking coast about 300 pesos tho..

Nice free public beach….free if you bring your own chair or towel to sit on. There is a fee to rent a lounge seat. We were charged $20 USD for 2 seats for the day. But the beach is lovely. Lots of waves but shallow to swim & wade in the water. It was pretty crowded but still very enjoyable. Especially considering that most beaches in the northern coast area are full of seaweed right now, just the peak of summer. There are a few vendors at entrance and we only noticed one food option, but it was delicious! Cold drinks, seafood platters, fries and such reasonably priced considering you’re paying for the convenience. One of the coldest beers I had on the island! Taxis hover around the area so not hard to find a ride, but they can be pushy. Overall a good afternoon.

Beautiful beach. That was the last stop on our buggie trip and was worthed to stop by and enjoy the view. I wish we've had enough time to go for a swim. The water looks amazing and inviting for a swim.
Krasimira V — Google review
A stunning beach with palm trees, soft white sand, and gentle waves. A great place for relaxing and swimming. There wasn’t a bunch of seaweed like some of the other beaches around Punta Cana. There are also a few places to get drinks and snacks as well as chairs and umbrellas to sit under. I highly recommend a visit
Jessica N — Google review
Visited during an excursion. The beach itself is nice. The views are beautiful. But the water is not blue, it was brown, of dark color. Surprisingly, there were not any sargassums there. There are many annoying souvenir vendors. The restrooms (toilets), have no accommodations. The doors would not close, the lockets are stolen and broken, the bulbs are missing, you can see only wires, even the flush buttons are stolen, it is dirty, it is ghetto. Even if you come there, there is no way you can find a place to change your clothes.
Rose D — Google review
It's a beautiful beach with wide sandy spots and calm waves. It can get crowded but if you walk to the ends there are fewer people. Parking closer costs money but farther away there are limited free spots. There are bathrooms and lots of places to buy drinks and souvenirs.
Michelle M — Google review
Beautiful beach. Lots of local families enjoying a beach day. Places to get refreshments. A few vendors but they weren't pushy.
Lisa M — Google review
The beach is beautiful, in comparison to other beaches around the Dominican Republic, I give it a three-star review because while you do not have to partake in renting beach chairs, umbrellas, or even purchasing the food... I wanted to; however, the prices they list are all in dollars and in many instances are far more than prices paid in the U.S. and wv n in Japan where I just traveled from. Additionally, if you pay via credit card you will pay between 10% and 25% additional charge. While I wanted to support the local economy, I do not appreciate being taken advantage of with these ridiculous prices placed on what is supposed to be a public beach. A comparison between Bayahibe and Macao, places Bayahibe prices much more reasonable than Macao prices.

We attended the dolphin explorer on Friday April 18th. I just wanted to share our experience. I loved the fact that we were in the ocean and not in a facility you can tell the dolphins are loved and cared for by the staff my family enjoyed our experience and learning about dolphins. We enjoyed meeting them and spending time with them it was such a great learning experience. I’m so glad we got to meet your dolphins and see how loved and cared for they are by the staff

Memorable experience with dolphins, a sea lion and perequitos! I love to know Dali and Picasso! 😍😍🐬 However, The water was dark due algaes( I used photoshop to make a pleasant pic) , the guy said that the clear water depends of the season, the best one is December -April. Also, they doesn't allow you to record or take pictures with your phone, to charge you an very expensive price for the pictures took by photographers! Other places, like monkeyland they allow cellphones and cameras and the pics package is very cheap, including a printed one for your memory.

This was the best experience ever! I've always dreamed of meeting a dolphin and this went above and beyond! We got to pet them, play with them, and do tricks with them! I highly recommend!!!
Emersen D — Google review
The dolphin experience was cute, and the kids were really excited. We were in the sea wearing life jackets, and the staff was very nice. Everyone from the age 3 and the high 1.10 meters can do it. The price is 109$ for a child and adults pay from 109$ for the cheapest activitie. If you have a car I recommend you to come with your own car otherwise you will have to wait for the pick up an hour and half after the activity ends. But the way they handle the photos is just a rip-off. It starts when they show you all the pictures and say the price is $200, then they tell you that doesn’t include the videos (another $60), and finally, they mention that it also doesn’t include the pictures with the parrots and the sea lion (an extra $100). It’s a shame that this is the feeling you’re left with when leaving the place. Even when we wanted to buy just a single photo, they asked for $40 (!!) for one picture with the dolphins. It’s really disappointing to end such an experience — one the kids were so looking forward to — on that note. Having to add another $300 just for photos, on top of an activity that was already the most expensive of the trip, is simply outrageous. It’s frustrating that this is how they operate — and that it seems acceptable to them.
גל א — Google review
On October 3rd, 2025, my wife and I visited Dolphin Explorer, hoping to have a beautiful experience with dolphins and create a happy memory. However, from the very beginning, we were divided into three groups of ten people each, and we immediately felt like we were in a factory rather than a leisure place. They kept giving us commands: “Sit, smile, go.” When we arrived at the area where the dolphins were, I couldn’t believe my eyes — the water was red and had a terrible smell. Still, we decided to go into the water. We only touched the dolphins for about 3–5 seconds, while the same commands continued: “Touch the dolphin, raise your hand, smile, and go.” If I were an animal protection organization, I would have shut this place down immediately because the dolphins live in extremely dirty water. After leaving the water, something even stranger happened. We wanted to go back home, but they didn’t let us. Instead, we were forced to sit in the restaurant inside the facility for about an hour and have dinner. Later, we wanted to check and buy our photos, but they looked like they were taken on a factory line — rushed and careless. In most of them, our eyes were closed, or we looked bad. Despite that, they asked for $150 for 20 photos. I only wanted to buy the ones I liked, but they refused; we had to buy all of them. I tried to explain: “Look, my eyes are closed in this one. Each photo costs around $11, so I don’t want this one,” but no one listened to me.

Must read before booking! If I had known what this experience was really like, I would never have booked it. We are a family of four (two adults and two young kids), and during our trip to Punta Cana ( OCT 25 ) we decided to book a dolphin encounter. If I could give negative stars, I absolutely would. 1. The whole operation is focused on upselling and pushing you to buy extra packages, especially photos and videos. 2. The photo\video prices are simply outrageous. A photo package for a family of four costs $260 USD! And some parts are not included. 3. You are not allowed to take your own photos, and although they claim to have professional photographers, the pictures were terrible. They completely missed key moments (like the dolphin kissing my child), and most photos were taken facing the sun, so we had our eyes closed the whole time. No sunglasses are allowed either. 4. The water platform is not suitable for children, and even my wife (1.60m tall) struggled to stand on her toes against the waves while holding our child — making it nearly impossible to follow the instructor’s directions. 5. The morning transfer took about an hour and a half, even though the site is only 40 minutes from our hotel, because they pick up people from multiple hotels. Very hard with small kids. Bottom line: we came with great expectations and left deeply disappointed. My mistake was not reading enough Google reviews before to understand what we were getting into. This review is my way of helping others. I hope you read this before booking and make an informed decision.

Other than that the place is a scam. They sell you one thing and when you arrive they argue that no it’s not possible even with a receipt. First of all they couldn’t find our reservations, thankfully we had the guys phone number that sold us the exertion, we called him and magically they found our reservations. The staff here are soooooooooo rude. I can’t even stress how rude they are. They take u around and in and out so u can buy more and waste ur time. The actual time with the dolphin is so limited. The group size is huge so ur literally just standing there for ur turn. Regardless of all that. The rudeness of the staff is unacceptable. They should hire nice people since they want tourists to come around. Staff leave u and walk away bc they’re so rude.
Raya A — Google review
At first were very excited about this activity but at the end disappointed. We didn’t receive enough or good informations about how much you paid for which activity with dolphins. Don’t get me wrong my family and I had fun but we which we could swim cause swimming is the most important part that made us choosing the activity, but we didn’t nobody said anything to us and we paid. Secondly the photos,we’re not allowed to use our cameras cause they have their photographers(I get it,fully understand). But,please guys be honest and professional, your packages are expensive so take good shots, don’t just multiply the same image just to reach a certain number of photos and bim that it. We had to payed $150 for 54 photos(1 photo times 3 or 4) and we didn’t even receive the one with the parrots just frustrated. Last part is the movie(we choose to not pay for it because they put the other family in our movie and also the price. They don’t tell customers what they’re doing and we let them cause we think they are professionals. I am not feeling sorry about my review just want to help other people to know about what it’s or what it looks like. Be honest and professional

We much enjoyed the ambience, attentiveness of the staff, great food and seating near the water. A great experience all around, we went there with someone local. Not sure it is frequented by tourists all to much, located in a gated community area. We spend a couple hours there in the early part of the week and there was ample seating, no reservations needed.

Excellent service, very warm and friendly. Attention to detail, even with distinct cutlery for each diner depending on their order. Frequent visits to the table to top up drinks. The waiter misheard our order for an appetizer but apologized and returned with the correct item quickly and without making a fuss. The location was stunning, over the water, at a marina - with a hole in the floor to observe marine life (if the water weren't so muddy.) Having said all that, the food was mediocre. The "Cajun" seasoning lacked flavor and was basically a tomato salsa. Rice and beans was a disappointing accompaniment to the catch of the day, and the tostones lacked flavor or seasoning. The pumpkin Parmesan risotto was nice in flavor but rather gooey in texture, and a dab of butter in the center seemed an odd pairing. The birthday cake was automatically added to our bill because we said it was a birthday, and it was as dense as shortcake. Not what we were expecting. We ordered two glasses of wine, but he brought the bottle to our table. When he poured a third glass to finish the bottle, we were charged for a 3rd order of a glass of wine rather than being charged for the bottle. All in all of was a pleasant evening of being well looked after, but the quality of the food would keep us from returning in a hurry.

Nice place to visit. Unfortunately, getting uber back to your destination it’s difficult. We had to get in a taxi recommended by one of the staff. I was little bit scary, but i trusted what my mine was telling me. Good thing, the texi driver was nice and friendly.

Large family group and we all loved the restaurant. Very kind staff and delicious food. It wasn't quick, but that's ok and sit back relax and enjoy the island! Drinks were enjoyed by all, as.they graciously will make any cocktail a mocktail (and appropriately priced). Windy

Great restaurant on the water and away from the resorts/hotels. Great service and selection. Dominican Snapper with multiple choices of sauce were all good as was the Pineapple Shrimp Risotto and the Coconut Shrimp. Highlights of the appetizers were definitely the eggplant w/ plantain and ceviche. Lastly the single leches for dessert was amazing.

Shopping
Plaza San Juan Shopping Center is a vibrant indoor mall located in the heart of Punta Cana, offering a unique experience with over 69 shops and various entertainment spaces. Visitors can explore a natural park, enjoy lively bars and restaurants, and immerse themselves in Dominican culture at Las Americas. The center features an array of international brands alongside local artisanal works representing Dominican heritage. Additionally, it boasts diverse dining options including the only Burger King in the area.
It was my first time visit this shopping center. Overall it is safe and can walk around without any problem. There are security there so you feel a bit more safe. There a few shop hear and a mall which we like a little better because it got AC in and you can explore. Next door to the mall is Jumbo which is a grocery place that you can get really good local fruits that is really fresh. It totally worth the visit. It cost us only $10 for taxi driver to go there and $10 back. We ask our taxi driver to wait for us and we pay him after he drop us off at the hotel. Gratuity is a must to get great customer service so bring many one dollar bills, it does make a huge difference.

This shopping centre was a stone throw from my hotel and I did some shopping here. For someone that loves plantains; I could not resist taking a photo of these. I like that they have a few food places here. They have a Payless store, souvenir stores to get stuff, a bureau de change inside the supermarket( best rates) ; and you may also change money at the Western Union inside the pharmacy, a spa, and my favourite empanadas place ❤️❤️❤️

Very busy area. Getting there is horrible, the traffic is upsetting. Felt like a battle trying not to get in an accident. Why aren't there street lights? As a tourist, i didnt feel safe driving in the area.

BlueMall Puntacana is a luxurious shopping destination in the Caribbean, conveniently located just 2 kilometers from Punta Cana International Airport and within easy reach of hotels in Bavaro and Punta Cana. This posh mall offers an array of international brands, top-notch restaurants, and a diverse range of services. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely shopping experience in its stylish and contemporary environment, with carefully sourced souvenirs available for purchase.
BlueMall Punta Cana is a great shopping and dining destination! The mall is clean, modern, and has a nice variety of stores, restaurants, and cafes. It’s a perfect place to relax, cool off, and enjoy time with family or friends. We had a great experience shopping and loved the food options. Definitely worth a visit while in Punta Cana!

This is a nice size mall with a good selection of variety shops. The shops are cute and we enjoyed window shopping since the prices here are not reasonable 😒 . We did price comparison from snacks, toys, to clothing and shoes…none were good. We could find same or similar items in the US with much better prices. Services is none existent here 🤣 staff don’t say hi or acknowledge when you are in the shop. Miniso employees were very rude. We also experienced attitudes from staff work in other shops. Which solidified the attitudes we also encountered in the Royalton resorts we stayed here. I guess this is probably part of the Dominican culture??? 🤨. . . Just my guess Food court is made up of several American fast foods restaurants and a nice 👀 bar. They also have some nice restaurants by the East and West gate. This is a good place to hang around when you have extra time on hand but not for shopping.

Great place to spend time, whether for yourself, with a loved one, or with family. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops to suit every taste, as well as a kids’ area with an obstacle course and popcorn — perfect for children. The mall also offers free parking, Wi-Fi, and an easy exit, plus there’s a supermarket right next door. Convenient, enjoyable, and complete — it has everything you need!

A very nice mall, most of it is air conditioned and lovely with pretty decorations and benches throughout and great shops.

We visited this place during our trip to Punta Cana from La Romana. It's a very modern and upcoming shipping mall with many upstreet brands like Este Lauder, Zara etc. There are ample parking spaces, ATM and banks and eateries. The mall feels big and spacious, however we found it quite less crowded when we visited. Could be because it was a weekday, or could be the prices, as we found it pretty pricey.

Very nice mall. My wife was looking for makeup. No problem finding it in here

Very nice place. Has many outlets for both local and international brands. The store clerks are welcoming. I love the layout and the cultural representation of the country. I would visit again but with more money next time as the prices are not so competitive 😅 . Otherwise lovely place. There is a free shuttle take picks you up at your hotel and takes you to and from the mall. The trick is you have to visit 3 stores on the list that they will give you to stamp at each store on the list. You however do not have to purchase anything to get the Stamps. The mall is one level and beautiful with multiple entrance and exits.

Downtown Punta Cana is a bustling urban area with a vibrant cultural scene, lively markets, and diverse dining options. It features contemporary condominiums that offer modern living amidst the energetic city atmosphere. While there are some gay-friendly bars and nightclubs in the downtown area, most of the LGBTQ scene is centered around resorts catering to LGBTQ couples. The nearby towns may not be as welcoming to LGBTQ travelers.
Electrifying, magnificent and enthusiastically compelling. This is an entertainment playground. You just have to experience it. Customer service was top notch!

The whole area is very noisy and there are too many people trying to push you into bars to spend money. It feels too much like a fake amusement park and is not to my taste.

Lovely day and evening spent there, actually people are peaceful, a bit crowded but felt safe visiting despite reading about how unsafe it is. It's safe , it's lovely and people are really nice. Hard Rock Cafe is a rock 'n' roll-themed chain known for its high-energy vibe and serving American classics like burgers. The new state-of-the-art facility in Punta Cana features an updated look with the latest technology, paying homage to America's musical history from the 70s to today. With seating for up to 262 guests, private event space, free parking, outdoor terrace seating, and a live music stage, it offers a unique backdrop for performances.
This was my first time to a Hard Rock Cafe. I was in need of some "American food". Our resort food was not great. This place did not disappoint. Food was excellent and very much needed for our entire party. Was not busy at all even though it was dinner time on a Saturday. It was very clean and well maintained. Nothing "Hard Rock" going on at the time we were there though ??? If resort food or authentic Domincan food isn't your thing, this is an excellent option. Other food options and shops close by.
HP — Google review
Amazing food as usual for a hard rock cafe along with exceptional staff. It looks like a lot of construction going on around the cafe, perhaps it had been downsized a lot? Bit of a shame. We will probably try the casino/hotel next time.

I've been there 3 times now and all three times we've ordered the same things my partner and I. He likes the twisted mac and cheese and I always go for the Jumbo Combo. We ordered the same things at the Hard Rock restaurant in Santo Domingo and we didn't quite like them. Punta Cana always delivers. We went for dinner recently, they had that conference inside, us patrons were only on the terrace and it was not pleasant at all. People were smoking left and right and I cannot stand smoking. I wish they had a different non-smoking area. Since they were very busy, our food took a lot longer than it should have but they were very apologetic and nice. We still enjoyed the food and it was great as expected. We tried their peach cobbler for dessert and it was exquisite.

Ordered the Ribeye and mashed potatoes, medium doneness. I have had better steak at IHOP. Mash potatoes were lumpy. Asked for butter to help with the potatoes, the butter looked like it was scraped off of a larger block. Sad presentation. Also, instead of a steak knife, I was given a butter knife. Meal of sadness for top price. Paid over 50 USD for that and one drink. Table settings were bare. Wouldn't recommend at all.

This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I stayed at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana, expecting luxury and security, but instead I left angry, disappointed, and missing an expensive personal item — my Apple Watch was stolen directly from my room What’s worse than the theft itself was the hotel’s complete failure to act. I reported the incident immediately, and I was met with excuses, silence, and a total lack of urgency. No investigation. No apology. No follow-up. It was like they didn’t care at all. For a resort that promotes itself as five-star, this was a joke. Zero professionalism. Zero accountability. Zero safety for guests and their belongings. I no longer felt safe in my own room. This is unacceptable at any hotel, especially one charging premium prices. DO NOT STAY HERE if you value your personal items or expect even the bare minimum level of customer care. I will never return, and I strongly warn others to think twice before booking. Hard Rock Punta Cana should be ashamed.

Imagine Punta Cana is a nightclub located in the Dominican Republic, known for its unique setting inside an actual cave. The country is generally welcoming to tourists, but there are some safety concerns such as high crime rates, especially at night. However, the influence of the tourism industry and international visitors has created a relatively inclusive atmosphere. For those who enjoy nightlife, Imagine Punta Cana is a popular spot along with other party venues like Coco Bongo.
Very good nightclub with great music! Drinks were good the only thing they don’t tell you that in order to go to the other areas you need to be VIP or higher so the general admission is very tight but for sure you’ll have a great time.

Great place and very original. Unique experience, loved it. One thing. The sub they use for transportation, St. Moreno. Bad. Our driver, Miguel, on the way home even though we paid in advance tried to leave us behind because there was a large group of guys offering him more cash under the table to take them to prostitutes. It was a fight for us to get our seats in the bus. No cool. Beware if that service. The nightclub needs to do something about it.

The music is great. The DJ is great too. But the atmosphere is very hot and uncomfortable. There are people from all over the world. I also didn't see any emergency exits in the place. Smoking is allowed inside the club, in the middle of the streets. The people, what I found strange. The cigarettes mixed with the lack of air conditioning in the place are quite annoying. The bar tenders are quick to serve. There are plenty of bouncers at the club

This club is very unique and definitely keeps the girls that at “working” trying to rob people out with their entry fee. We booked transportation from Imagine and it picked us up from our resort and took us back at 2:30am for 24USD so we didn’t have to spend insane amount of money on Uber on the way back! But they did pick up other people from other resorts on the way there so it took us 2 hours to get there! The place was very secure and worth going to. No food but there was a dude selling burgers right outside and after partying for 4 hours straight, the burger felt like heaven! Lots of Spanish music which was not surprising at all but they did play a little pit bull and J-Lo so it wasn’t all bad! The dancers were very entertaining and I loved the dude on stilts who made videos with everyone and made everyone feel included!

Seaquarium Punta Cana offers an unforgettable underwater experience that immerses you in the vibrant marine life of the Caribbean Sea. This adventure begins with a convenient open-top bus ride from your hotel to the quay, where a modern catamaran awaits. Onboard, guests can enjoy lively entertainment, fresh fruits, snacks, and refreshing drinks as they cruise through stunning waters.
Great trip to the dive spot that also offers snorkeling, stop to the sandbar, swimming with the sharks and stingrays, photo opportunity with a sea lion, and party on the boat. The staff was entertaining and friendly. It was a lot of fun!
Nena R — Google review
This, like most excursions are a tourist trap and cash grab. For $125USD, they bring you on a “party” boat that didn’t have enough seats for everyone and fed us sandwiches that had been sitting in the sun for hours. You spend most of your time waiting for the next activity and they were all underwhelming. The sharks, stingrays, and seals are kept in the smallest enclosures. Two stars since the underwater walk was interesting, but you spend most of the time posing for photos and there’s nothing to see underwater.
Iris C — Google review
We were picked up in a hotel by a bus with open windows, like a safari type of bus. This is fun during hot weather: gives one a fresh breeze, however: those who go with smaller kids or with vulnerable people: if you leave at 7:15am, it gets very breezy, on the edge of feeling cold and wishing you had a hat on, to cover the ears :) especially when the drive goes amidst a busy city traffic, with a speed of 50-60km/h. So i would kindly recommend having a sweater and even a hat, if you leave at 7:15am :) we had a great excursion. The boat experience was something, the snorkeling was fun. The sea zoo was a bit depressing… i wanted to just let them al out, those fishes… i did not know it would be a sea zoo.. i thought we would be in some special area of habitat of the herbivore sharks… anyways: whats done is done. But for sensitive empaths: a warning: a sea zoo would break your heart a little. The experience in helmets 10 out of 10, that was great :) i liked the safety measures. I coykd really see that me and my kids are under protection of specially trained staff under water. We were guided practically by hand! I appreciate it. Thank you!! And the pictures were fun and nice and lots of them. Thanks for that too!!
Nataliia I — Google review
We had a great time on this excursion. The crew are wonderful, entertaining and engaging. You get to do a few things on this day trip like snorkeling, the sea walk, swimming with stingrays and sharks as well as swimming in the amazing crystal clear ocean. This trip does include drinks but not anything I would consider food. They offered fruit and cheese sandwiches but it's not enough to sustain you. We were told (by the events coordinator at our resort) that the day would start with pick up at 7am and then we'd be back at our resort by 12:30pm but that's not entirely true. The day started with pick up at 7am then an hour and a half bus ride, picking up other guests on an open air bus with the most uncomfortable seats on earth. We also didn't get back to our resort until 3:30pm and everyone was starving by this point. I do recommend this experience because it's a lot of fun and there are drinks involved but bring a snack.
Amy D — Google review
We did the excursion June 4, 2025 and would highly recommend. In addition to scuba helmet experience we also did snorkeling, swimming with bull sharks/stingrays, and picture with sea lion. The pricing was great for the time spent and activities you get. Super friendly fun staff on the boat! 10/10
Martha B — Google review
We got picked up bright and early for this activity from our resort. The seating is tight. Once you arrive, you are brought onto the catamaran. The party starts with them dancing, hyping the crowd. To be honest I was very excited about this excursion because walking on the bottom of the ocean was intriguing. Paid attention to all the details video only to find out I can’t take part in the excursion because we never paid for it. I turned on my data to show them my voucher which clearly stated I did. They did not let us complete that portion no matter how much was pleaded. Instead, we snorkeld in green water where there was not much visibility at all, went to get a kiss from a seal, they will grab your phones away at this point so they can take pictures. The part or the experience lasted 15 seconds, the seal moves his head back and forth (kiss) we were then quickly ushered to get into the water enclosure with the sting rays, fishes and sharks. Followed by a beach party where they let you hang in the water for 15 min -20mins They provided ham & cheese sandwiches, drinks and some fruit. Overall, to be honest the staff was tried to be hyped. Had I know that is all I was going to be doing i would have rather stay at the resort. We wasted 7 hours of our day as we never got to do the activity we signed up for. So fast forward they bring you back to shore, request that you tip, the pictures were average, wanted $80+. At the end of the day, if you like to party on a boat. This excursion is for you.
Mary M — Google review
We did this excursion and it was cool but not without it's issues. For one, the bus is an open cabin with tiny seats that seem like they have padding but they don't. You can get motion sickness in the bus. Then you get to the place after picking up at different locations, no biggie, and you get aboard a ship. You are divided into groups. One snorkels, one does the scuba helmets, and two others wait. Waiting was fine, there were drinks and fruit. The snorkeling was cool and the scuba helmets, you go in a circle stopping to snap pictures. The swimming with stingrays and sharks was cool but felt bad as they are in an enclosure. Overall not a bad experience and I liked the sea lion.

Playa Bavaro Punta Cana is a stunning destination with exquisite white sand, lush mangroves, and sparkling turquoise waters. The all-inclusive Paradisus Punta Cana Resort offers a wide range of amenities and activities including golf lessons, Pilates, and beach parties. It's perfect for couples, friends, or families with attractions like an adventure park and climbing wall.
A truly good beach with clean sand and turquoise water starts exactly from this spot. In the first half of the day, the only downside is the lack of shade because the sun rises from the ocean side, and all the shadows fall on the private areas of the hotels. But closer to sunset, long shadows fall toward the ocean, and it’s easy to find some shade without any problem.

Had a VIP reservation at this beautiful hotel. The rooms were clean and amazing, and the overall atmosphere was great. Enjoyed good food and plenty of beach activities. However, the downside was that from our butler to all the servers, they seemed to be a focus on maximizing their tip. This aspect slightly affected our overall enjoyment.

Playa Bavaro is a stunning beach that, despite the challenges of sargassum in August 2025, still holds beauty. The ocean may show hints of brown in some areas, but the spirit of the resorts shines as they work tirelessly to clean up. If you choose an Airbnb, remember that not all beaches benefit from such efforts. We embraced adventure with parasailing, negotiating down to $50 per person—a small price for the joy and teamwork involved in this unforgettable experience.

From wakeboarding and water skiing to zip lining and paddle boarding, the park provides an exciting atmosphere for families and thrill-seekers alike. Guests can also relax by the pool or enjoy the on-site restaurant.
A marvelous afternoon spent at the Caribbean Lake Park. No wait at the entrance. The rules are available before entering. No outside food allowed. A restaurant BATU is at the CLP. The prices were very reasonable for 3 adults pool use only and 3 kids under 8 based on park activities! Also, a $10 of the pool voucher for consumption each. All the activities had an attendant guide for the children. The safety is enforced at each activity. A full fun day of water sports. The little ones had a ball. I recommend this for a summer fun outing!

What a fantastic experience! You get a lot for your money, and the employees are so helpful and friendly. We did the buggies and the aquakarts. Included with that is a ride on the zip line and unlimited rides on the hotdog raft. So much fun! Highly recommend. We went on a Friday afternoon and it was like we were the only ones there. The photographer was awesome, he got some great shots. The photo package was a little pricy but it was worth it because the pictures were so great! We booked thru the JetBlue vacations guy at the hotel and the shuttle to and from was included. It’s right next door to the dolphin experience. I suggest doing the afternoon session because you are continuously in the sun and even in the afternoon it was really hot. Bring towels and sunscreen, money for tips, cash for the photos (they take cards but prefer cash), and water shoes or crocs. They provide free lockers. The water is super clean, fresh water; I wasn’t afraid to fall in. This experience is great for all ages. The shuttle from the hotel was at 1:40 and from the park at 5:40. So about 4 1/2 hours altogether and totally worth it!

While this excursion was the most expensive it was definitely a lot of fun. It was adrenaline rushing and exhilarating. I did have a problem with my wife's expensive straw water bottle not being allowed in, so that they could sell us Dasani $2 waters(they were big). My wife liked the aquakarts and the donut, she said she was afraid to tip over on the jet skis so she didn't have as much fun. I also loved the donuts, but had more fun on the jet skis. The pool is beautiful, the whole scenerie lovely. I think we spent 30mins on each activity, and unlike water parks in NY there is no line here. It felt like we had a fast pass to do as much as we wanted.

We had an incredible experience, and I’m certain you’ll have a fantastic time. The staff is exceptional and ensures that you have a wonderful time. You should definitely try the professional photo service available onsite. However, you’ll need to ensure that the photographer is aware of the activities you’ll be doing. Sometimes, it was a bit challenging to coordinate which activities we’d be doing and make sure the photographer was ready. I’m not sure if this is an understaffing issue, but I definitely feel like it should be improved. Besides that, you should absolutely check out this place.

Tourist trap & total rip off, see the patern/theme throughout bad reviews. Our 4 hour excursion was absolutely not what was sold to us. 15-20 minutes of jet-sky is craaaazzzy. Incredibly overpriced & did not include all the activities listed. The whole process was super disorganized & tedious. Most of all really do not appreciate how aggressive & overbearing they were to purchase aburdly overpriced add on pictures lmao. I didn't want to commemorate this experience. Staff genuinely got irirritaed by our decline. Then presumed to follow us a couple feet & keep going when we eventually just tried to walk away. Super unprofessional and very uncomfortable for us. I don't recommend:/

Hacienda Tuko in Punta Cana offers an exciting jungle experience at a remote horse ranch near the Anamuya Mountains. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities including ziplining through lush canopy, river crossing on horseback, and riding ATVs through mountain trails. The ranch also features an equestrian area, hanging bridge, and a network of 8 zip lines. Guests can opt for lockers to keep their belongings safe during the day.
I spent 5 days in Punta Cana, and without a doubt, Hacienda Tuko was the highlight of my entire trip. This recreational park offers an authentic, action-packed, and cultural experience — all for a great price that gives you much more than you pay. From the moment they pick you up at your hotel, the fun begins. The staff welcomes you warmly, and the activities are amazing: •   8 thrilling zip lines •   A small museum of Dominican cocoa and coffee •   A typical house from the 1900s, full of history and charm •   Group horseback riding •   Exciting buggy races through scenic trails •   A delicious lunch with fried chicken, pork chops in sauce, red beans, and salad 🥗 •   Beautiful photo opportunities •   And to top it all off: a dip in the finest white sand beach I’ve ever seen The staff was incredibly friendly, kind, and attentive. They even offered us Mamajuana, a traditional Dominican drink known for its healing and aphrodisiac properties. They truly treated us like family! It was an unforgettable day, full of culture, nature, fun, and warm-hearted people. Highly recommended – Hacienda Tuko is a hidden gem in Punta Cana! You can pay for your excursion right in their if you make the reservation directly with the park

Hacienda Tuko Eco Adventure Park zipline was the best overall experience while in the Dominican. The General Manager (Jose or Javier - I forgot) was especially helpful to us and went above and beyond to ensure that we had an excellent time. Could not recommend a better place.

Folks… I’m not sure how well you know the #DominicanRepublic 🇩🇴, but one thing I can tell you without a doubt: if you haven’t been to @haciendatuko, you’re missing out on one of the most authentic and unforgettable experiences the Dominican countryside has to offer. From the moment you arrive, it’s all about adventure, connection, and discovery. Picture yourself horseback riding through lush trails, zip lining across breathtaking scenery, and kicking up some serious dust on a wild buggy ride — all in one day. But it’s more than just thrills. You’ll also get the chance to step into a traditional Dominican house, where you can experience local culture, flavors, and hospitality in the most genuine way possible. @marianavivas338 and her incredible team pour their heart into making every visit personal, exciting, and memorable. Whether you’re chasing adrenaline or simply looking to connect with the soul of the island, Hacienda Tuko delivers on all fronts. Trust me — you won’t leave the same way you came.

The rep. at my resort knew I was too fat to ride there Zipline, but he sold it to me anyway. So the one thing I wanted to do i couldn't. The few also included house back riding, ok not really my thing but I'm here all day I'll try it. Sorry sir, our horses are too small. Your too fat..🤨. Ok on to biggie ride. They should call it what it is . The mudd buggy ride because you will be absolutely filthy when you're done. I'm talking about mud everywhere on your body ½ inch thick.... everywhere...! There were many very unhappy ladies after that. I adjusted. There was the ski lift that took up to the Zipline (I was aloud to ride up and back down), the view was spectacular coming down the mountain,BUT! .. they strongly discouraged you to from taking your camera 🤳🏿😡 so you'll buy their picture packages. I should've took my phone. Oh and during the mudd buggy ride you jump into an Aggie field creek wash the mudd off then get muddy again. I realized on the way back, the place I ziplined be before was just a few minutes away and I met their weight limit for ziplining 🤨 I one thing I actually wanted to do.

Totally recommended. We paid $99 p/p. They picked us up at the hotel (1 hr away), it included lunch, buggy ride, horse ride, 8 zip lines and they also take you to see how they do tabaco and cocoa and also to a beach. You pay $3 for a locker and if you don’t have glasses or bandana, you can buy them there. Go dressed and prepare to get dirty. We had so much fun and everybody there was so nice. Specially Carlos (owner) and Jason (one of the tour guys). I started to feel nauseous and dizzy and everyone was very courteous and trying to help me feel better. Unfortunately I wasn’t feeling good enough to continue the tour and Carlos offered to take us back to the hotel personally in his vehicle. I’ll never forget that. You can get the pictures package for $55 (we got 78 pictures).

Hoyo Azul, located in Punta Cana, is a renowned destination offering a stunning lagoon with crystal-clear waters. Visitors can enjoy swimming in the cave and exploring the beautiful cave system. The area also features zip lines and other adventurous activities. Additionally, there are amenities such as a cafe, restrooms, and a souvenir shop available for visitors' convenience. The lagoon is best experienced before lunch when the sun shines on the water, creating a spectacular glow.
This is part of Scape Park. 900 yards away from the main park. Very well worth the hike. Not difficult. Bathrooms at the entrance to the Hoyo Azul. Snacks, and both soda and bottled water available too.

All I can say is wow! Visiting Hoyo Azul in the Dominican Republic was an unforgettable experience. The natural beauty of this hidden gem is absolutely breathtaking. Tucked away at the base of a towering cliff, the turquoise blue water looked like something straight out of a postcard. The short hike through the lush jungle was peaceful and scenic, and once we arrived at the lagoon, it felt like stepping into paradise. The water was crystal clear and refreshingly cool perfect for a swim on a hot day. Jumping into that blue pool surrounded by nature was a total thrill! It’s one of those places that makes you stop, take a deep breath, and really appreciate the beauty of the world. If you’re ever near Punta Cana, Hoyo Azul is a must see. You won’t regret it!

It was amazing to swim in a cave and see their beautiful cave system. The monkeys were super cute and the python was super scary! You can swim everywhere here, it's so cool! Plus zip lines and other adventures. They have a Cafe and pick you up at your hotel if you schedule an excursion. Definitely recommended if you go to Punta Cana! Take bug spray!! Take a towel and full swimming gear! They have restrooms and a souvenir shop. Unique place and roughly 7 years old the staff told me. Learn all about the amazing history of Dominican Republic with a scenic hike through the woods.

This is the best place in whole Scape park. It's really one of a kind experience. Get there before lunch, when sun shines on the water. It glows! Afternoon is fine but not as spectacular.

Warm climate so you are sweating while walking to the Hoyo Azul. By the time you reach it, all you want to do is jump in. It is so cold that it feels amazing after walking the 25 minute walk. I didn’t want to get out of the water once I got in. There is a lot of people put in at the same time and those that can’t swim should not be in the water.

If you're planning a getaway to Punta Cana, the ideal time to visit is between December and April when the dry season shines at its best. With warm temperatures averaging around 80 degrees Fahrenheit year-round, it's a tropical paradise. However, be mindful of the Atlantic hurricane season from June to November. One of the standout experiences in this stunning destination is embarking on boat trips that explore some of the most breathtaking bays along the eastern coast of the Dominican Republic.
We had a group of 20. We worked with Josiah and her crew. We were well taken care of. Out trip included snorkeling, a private beach area for swimming and lunch, and finally another place to swim. Drinks and snacks, and the music never stopped. We all had a great time, even Norm! We will do this trip, with this, again! We loved it!!

This was such a fun cruise, part of me wishes we did the 6 hour option, 3 hours wasn’t enough for us especially with the areas we hit, the waves were choppy that day. I forgot the names of the staff, but they were fun. They were dancing with us and really helped set the mood as soon as we got on the boat the photographer was also really good and love that he knew all the angles for us as well as his drone footage I will say the lunch that was provided Could’ve been a lot better. It was just chicken skewers and some vegetables. Overall, very nice and fun crew we went for my sister‘s bachelorette I wish we were able to hit better clear blue waters though, but I would recommend!

Blown away how amazing Rosario was doing the tour in 3 diff languages! So impressive. He’s absolutely awesome and the company is in great hands as long as he’s there. Photographer Luis was also incredible. He took the most incredible pics. Thank you. Laura is absolutely perfect from head to toe and runs an incredible ship. Notes - if you are driving in know that the venders are insane here and very aggressive. When walking at the village protect your feet, tons of glass throughout. Only thing I would suggest is to let customers know that the times might not be accurate. We left about 45 min after the noted time and we got back earlier as well.

Booked a boat day trip with my family while we were in DR. My Family had reservations about leaving the resort or booking something that was not through the resort. However, I read really great reviews and chatted with many companies. These guys are exceptional. The handle everything for you. From transportation from our hotel to the boat, food, drinks, music, and entertainment. They played with the kids and created an upbeat and fun experience. I would 10/10 recommend them to anyone looking to rent a boat! Thank you so much for everything 🥂

Alena P — Google review
We booked an all day excursion for our group on a private yacht catamaran while in the DR. The tour was booked through Viator, to be fulfilled by Boat Trips Punta Cana. Everything about the experience was a disaster. To begin, the hotel pick-up was 20-30 min late. The cab driver then took us to a different launch point than listed in the itinerary—it was advertised as a 35 min drive, that turned into an hour+. After we arrived at the marina, we walked down to the boats. Someone placed wrist bands on us for Catalina Island—our itinerary was not going to Catalina Island. We were greeted by the captain. The boat pictured on the reservation looked nothing like the boat at the marina that we were expected to board. See photos below for reference. The nice boat on the left is what we were told we would have. When we showed the captain the photo of the boat we booked, he stated, “this is the second time they’ve done this to me and booked the wrong boat. The girl in the office just did this 3 weeks ago. That boat pictured is our other boat, but it won’t be back to this marina until Friday.” The captain then went on to say, “this is not the boat you were expecting, and it is not close to being the same boat.” We never stepped foot on the boat or met any of the other crew members. When the captain called his, “supervisor” about the situation, she stated she would not call the cab/shuttle back to get us early if we refused to get on the boat.” She also stated we would not get a refund despite the boat being completely wrong. We refused to get on the boat, and boarded the shuttle back to our resort. Nothing like 2 hours wasted in a car. We disputed the charge for the tour through Viator immediately. After a few hours, Viator called us back and stated that the captain stated we got on the boat and got into an argument with his crew—this never occurred. All I can say is buyer beware when looking at anything with Boat Trips Punta Cana. They will do a bait and switch with their boats, then try to force you to take what they provided out anyways. Incredibly disappointed in this company. Do not recommend.

Art of Diving in Punta Cana offers scuba diving experiences starting at 40 USD, with the option to charter a private yacht for 500 USD. The dive operators are mainly located at Bavaro beach or the Marina. Customers have praised their experiences with instructors like Xavier and Pavel, who provided professional guidance and personalized attention. The small group sizes of 2-3 people ensure a more intimate and well-organized diving trip.
I had an incredible experience diving with them over a week, completing six dives. The entire team was absolutely wonderful—kind, patient, and extremely professional. They’re especially great with nervous divers, handling any challenges that arise with ease while keeping safety their top priority. I felt completely safe and well cared for throughout. My first two dives were with Stephan, who was fun, engaging, and probably my favorite of the three instructors. My next dive was with Paula, who was incredibly kind and attentive, answering all our questions and meeting every need. My final dives were with Daniel, who was so calm and reassuring, especially with a couple of nervous divers in the group. He ensured everyone felt safe and comfortable. From transportation to organizing dives to working with the owner, everything ran seamlessly. I got to see some incredible sights underwater and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly, highly recommend them to anyone looking to dive in the area and would happily dive with them again in the future!

If I could give more than 5 starts, I would! My husband and I dove with Pasha today and it was an amazing experience. We were able to do two dives, a shipwreck and a reef. I feel it was definitely worth the value and we were well taken care of. Next time we are in the DR, we will be back!

Trying diving has been on my bucket list for my entire life. I choose Art of Diving and they exceeded my expectations in every way. First, my instructor, Pasha, was amazing. He made me comfortable, he was very understanding, and a excellent coach! I am sure all of the instructors are similar, but if you are lucky enough to get Pasha, I know you are in good hands. To ensure my safety he would not allow me to use my GoPro. He wanted me to focus on safe diving. He then took pictures for me and sent them to me by whats app. Unlike every other excursion here he did not ask for money to do it. This does not feel like a tourist excursion, more like learning with a friend who is a instructor. Second, the dive spots were beautiful. Corral canyons, fan corals, lobster, puffer fish, lion fish, tons of smaller tropical fish, and multiple species of rays. This was so far beyond what I wanted five stars is not high enough for this trip. If you want to dive, you cannot go wrong with Art of Diving. Thank you again Pasha.

From my 1st conversation with Xavier I had a feeling that this was the company to use to expand my knowledge of diving and complete my advanced open water. Xavier was prompt with responses and answered all initial questions. Now to Pasha who picked us up from the hotel promptly at the time given, this guy is a legend. He is tough but fair and to be honest I needed some help. He was incredibly patient particularly with my buoyancy. I have learnt so much I feel privileged to have had him teach me properly. Today I did the final dives with Stefan who was just as good, he showed alternative ways of doing the things which expanded my knowledge further and I achieved my advanced badge! Now for lots more practice 👌🤿 I am so glad I chose Art of Diving. I cannot recommend them enough, great people, great teachers and a great price, thank you to all you guys and I will definitely be seeing you again when back in DR.

This dive center deserves more than 5 stars. Fantastic from beginning to the end. Great communication & organization for dives from Xavier. Even though I booked fun dives, Pash taught me a LOT (him being a tech cave diving instructor). The cenote dives were incredible, I already want to return! Thank you! The briefings were top and I always felt safe diving with Pash. They also have a center in Spain where I’m planning to train at, so I hope to dive again for more R.D. Cenote 🤩

Golf course
The Hard Rock Golf Club at Cana Bay features an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Nicklaus Design. Spanning 7,253 yards from the championship tees, the course meanders through natural areas, showcasing exposed sand and rock formations. Paspalum turf is used throughout the entire course, offering a firm and fast playing surface. The greens are small and sloping, adding challenge to approach shots.
I have played the Hard Rock Golf Club three times now, and every time it delivers an amazing experience. The staff is extremely friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. From the moment you check in to the time you finish at the 19th hole, the service is truly top tier. The course itself is meticulous. The greens are in phenomenal condition, the fairways are clean and well maintained, and the overall layout is beautiful. It is mostly flat, which makes you think it will be easy, but it can definitely be deceiving. There are plenty of challenging holes, and the natural scenery throughout the course is gorgeous. The maintenance team deserves real credit because the place looks amazing every time I play it. A couple of small suggestions. The golf carts could use a GPS system, especially for visitors who do not know the course or do not travel with range finders. Music on the carts like other modern courses would also be a nice touch considering the price. And while the on-course facilities like bathrooms are nice, they are a bit dated and could use some TLC. None of this takes away from the overall experience, but small upgrades would elevate it even more. One of the best parts is the value. Your green fee includes food and drinks during the round, and when you are done, you can head to the 19th hole inside the clubhouse where your drinks and food are still included. Being able to relax after your round without worrying about extra charges is a huge plus and something many other courses do not offer. Even though the course does not have ocean views and sits a little farther out, it is absolutely underrated. The conditions, the service, the price, and the overall experience make it a must-play course. Every time I come to Punta Cana, the Hard Rock Golf Club is always on my list. Highly recommended.

This course is nice. Fairways in decent condition and the best greens we have played here in punta cana. The price was good on teeoff. $88.00 us at 12 . Includes golf cart snacks and drinks. Great deal. But at the regular rate of $300.00 us not worth it. Staff are friendly and the 19th is a great place for a drink after your round. Make sure you double up at the beer cart and turn as you will only see the cart lady once. Enjoy.
Mike — Google review
We used our resort credits to play a round of golf on a Sunday. The round was $300 in which we pay 20%. We also rented clubs. They had two types, a regular set for $40 and a premium set (Callaway) for $60. Your round does not include balls so you will need to bring some or purchase. We brought our own. The carts are not typical golf carts but more of an ATV cart. No place for balls and tees but places to stick them and your beverages. But it does have mirrors! So that's a plus :) There is a USB port but not sure it worked as we didn't use it. You also don't get a towel so maybe ask for one. We had no way to clean clubs as we played. The ladies bathroom had no working water in the sink! So there was a bottle of water there and that is what I used. Apparently the men's bathroom had showers that worked. So perhaps this club needs to understand that yes, women do golf and need to wash their hands. The course is nice but not as bougie as I expected. We saw plenty of wildlife, which was nice. Wild dogs, cats/kittens, cranes, etc. tee boxes were kept up and greens were not really grass but looked like turf or something which made for rough putting. (That's my story and I'm sticking to it). We had a moment when a local was behind us and we were told to let him play through. Which was odd because we would have. Not sure why they felt we needed to be told. Then at some point workers would just be standing on the course watching you. We were on par with time so not sure what was going on. All in all we did have a good time. The ride from HRPC was on time. When we were ready to return, they called for a pick up. My brother-in-law played another 9 after our 18 and he was able to head out directly after. If you golf, I would suggest a day here. It was fun. Just be prepared.

Wonderful experience! Water and snack and alcohol is free for hotel guest. Well designed beautiful course. That's why I played this course often. I never got tired of it. Staff was friendly and cordial. The 19th green with all the free drinks was a great after event to gather all of our scores to wrap up a great day of golf.
Rafael S — Google review
Great course. I found it to be really fair - the fairways are relatively easy to hit although the greens were incredibly sloped to make the course more challenging. Playing from the purples got it over 6700 yards, making the par 4s and 5s a lot harder. Overall it was challenging but super fair with decent bail out areas. Loved that I booked in Golf Now for a last minute deal for 95USD. Staff were awesome. Great that the drinks were all inclusive. My only vice: the range balls were ridiculous. They were beyond dirty, no dimples, different colours, and looked like they came from the 1980s. Get some new range balls my friends!!
Brendan M — Google review
We just played there last week. Course was in average shape, not as well maintained as I was expecting for the cost. The groundscrew would drive the cart right past you rather than stop and wait while you're teeing off. Otherwise the staff was great. Always get a couple drinks when the beverage/snack cart comes around since it may take longer for them to get back around. All in all, was disappointed as I was expecting better for the cost of the round. We had played the Iberostar golf course twice in the week before and wanted to try something new while in town. We wish we would have played the Iberostar course again. Now we know to skip it when we go back...

The will sale more packages at more affordable prices.

We had a mixed experience on the sunset ride. We don't like leaving negative feedback, so this is meant constructively. The team's attention was absolutely spectacular from the moment we arrived; customer service was amazing! However, the ride itself felt very rushed. People with no riding skills were pushed to gallop, causing significant stress and panic for my wife. Even after asking not to run, the guides kept pushing for more speed to beat nightfall. We suggest starting earlier to avoid this rush and make it enjoyable for all levels.

We booked a one hour horseback riding + pickup/drop off session at the last minute and we were thoroughly impressed by the experience. Pickup was on time with a good driver who was friendly. My partner and I booked this excursion through our resort. When we arrived, there were some horses that looked ill, malnourished, or similar. It looks like these horses may have some places to graze and were kept in the shade when not ridden; however, I was concerned for some of their health and chose not to ride. I was informed upon the return of others that the beach was filthy with seaweed and trash and it was not really worth the money. They bring a photographer and then want a high amount for the pictures. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend this excursion.
Angie S — Google review
Great experience, friendly hosts and great views. Our driver Cristina was very engaging. I would recommend. We stopped for a break and had coconut water while enjoying a private section of the beach.
Adam G — Google review
We were very excited for this excursion but were met with a huge disappointment. Starting with the drive to the horses, the driver was on his phone the entire time and was swerving in and out of traffic as well as slamming on the breaks and accelerating very hard. It was a scary drive for every couple in the van, we even all joked we needed to say a prayer. when we booked this excursion, we were told we could bring water, sunscreen, and anything else we might need, however, when we got there, we were told we were not allowed to bring anything, including our waters. For a 2 hour horseback trip in the Caribbean sun, you need water. While horseback riding on the beach, it was lined with party boats blasting music the entire time(see picture). The trail was also covered in trash everywhere you looked. The guides were not friendly either. They even threw a styrofoam to go container (just one of the thousands of pieces of trash) at one of the horses that was making noise. The drive back to the resort was no better, I got so carsick that i threw up as soon as we got back. I would save your money and book a different excursion, not worth it at all.

What a FANTASTIC tour. We loved it. Booked the private tour for our wedding anniversary as we wanted to explore the island and oh boy did it live up to our expectations. We were collected from the hotel and met our excellent guides. They were so knowledgeable, friendly and made us feel so truly safe and welcome. First stop Macao beach for a refreshing swim and stunning views. Then headed into the hills. Traffic was great and we easily followed the guide car in our wrangler Jeep. They provided us with a walkie-talkie incase of any concerns- there were none. Then headed to the ranch where we went ziplining. So fun going over the tops of trees and having the place to ourselves. 5 zip lines in total. Owner was a great guy. Then horse back riding through the jungle and crossed a river. Horses were calm and as a nervous rider, I felt completely safe. Then off to next stop. Christian's house where we had a delicious, traditional, freshly prepared lunch. Had a great tour of his small holding, ground coffee beans and cocoa beans. Tried lots of fruit grown there. Loved his house, dogs, family and the overall vibe. Final stop the cigar factory. A hidden oasis where we sampled local rums and hand rolled cigars. As a bonus had a chance to cool down in the lush pool on the property. We would recommend this tour highly. The best tour by far on the island as do many experiences in one tour and the guides were superb. Family forever.

Absolute blast. If you are wondering what you should spend one day doing while in the Dominican Republic, this is it. For the price of a professional photography session, you get a 10 hour adventure and professional quality photos included. Our guides were fantastic (Bienvenido picked us up) and really added to the day. Whoever set up the entire day schedule clearly has all the kinks worked out. water and food were always close by. aside from all the activities already included, at the end of the day you end up at Macao Beach. This is a great surfing beach depending on the time, and rentals are available at the beach. Highly recommend this adventure.

If you do one thing in the Dominican Republic- make it this! The jeep safari was the highlight of our trip to the Dominican Republic. I did a lot of research before booking because I was looking for a unique experience that took us away from touristy areas. I also wanted to pack in as many activities into one tour so that we wouldn’t have to plan multiple excursions. It truly is a private tour experience with no crowds and overcrowded buses. We can’t stop talking about what a great day we had. We started the day at a beautiful beach with amazing views. The photographer with the tour took photos of us on the beach and accompanied us to take photos throughout the day so we didn’t have to worry about having our cameras out while enjoying all of the amazing experiences. Next we were given a keep to drive and we followed our guide through the hills to a small farm. They gave us harnesses and helmets for zip lining. This was our first time going on a zip line and it was a series of 5 lines around the property. Not too scary but perfect for a first timer and would be fine for children. Next we did horseback riding with horses located on the farm. It was about 20 minutes around the property and crossed the river twice. Again, perfect for first timers and people not accustomed to riding horses. We loved the pace and length. Next ,we got back in the jeep to drive to another property. Seeing the small villages, houses and shops along the way gave us a small glimpse at typical life in the D.R. The next property was a farm owned by Christian. Our tour guides educated us about typical plant species found on the island. We got to eat a fresh star fruit, vinegrillo, and pick fresh cinnamon sticks. Next, we had a typical Dominican meal prepared fresh by the women on the farm. The chicken was especially tasty and all was very filling. Then our guides taught us about the process of making coffee and cocoa. We got to taste cocoa beans fresh off the tree- we had no idea they started out in such large pods and were white and slimy. We saw how the coffee and cocoa beans are roasted and then got to grind them. The best part was tasting the finished product. A truly unique and fantastic experience that will stay with us indefinitely. We got to enjoy the coffee and hot chocolate while taking in the amazing views and getting to pet some pigs. The final stop was a cigar factory were we got to roll our own cigars and take them home as a souvenir. There is a shop on site to purchase cigars, coffee, cocoa and other locally made products. I can’t say enough about how excellent our tour guides were and they made sure to answer all of our questions and make sure we got everything we wanted out of the tour. If you come to the D.R. make sure you book a jeep safari with Just safari. You won’t regret it!

A top notch tour with a couple of great guides. Voya and Cheury really made an effort and the day was special. Jeep was great. Zip lines were an adrenaline rush - and when he tells you to brake on the third line, he means it! Loads of friendly dogs everywhere. The horses are very docile and know the route better than you could. Great food and visit to Christian Melo's place. Seeing how coffee and chocolate are made. The coffee is a bit crude for my refined tastes, but the cacao mixed with unrefined sugar is a wow. Ask Christian to get his horse (Bill?) to feed himself. 100% recommend this tour with the guys.

This tour was amazing. We took a group of 8 people (4 per jeep) on the 8 hour excursion and enjoyed every single minute of it! Our host and staff were the best and made the entire day enjoyable. They picked us up at the resort and off we went - for about 20-25 minutes through some small little villages. If you are not adventurous on the road, then pick someone to drive that enjoys swerving through traffic and navigating hundreds of motorcycles as they pass you and weave in and out of traffic. I found it very fun and loved being around all the local people. We stopped at a local farm where we met Christian. He was awesome and showed us several local plants and flowers then made chocolate and ground some fresh coffee. We got to same several fruits and flowers. Next we were off to another location where we road horses for about 25 minutes and then went on 5 or 6 zip lines. These are lower to the ground than most but very fun - especially for people in your group who don't like heights! Had a local snack of spaghetti which was very good. Off to a real producing cigar factory where we got to roll a cigar and watch workers do the same. Good samples were given out on arrival. Last stop was Macau Beach which is a public beach where we had a traditional lunch. The beach was one of the prettiest beaches I've ever seen and the food was awesome. The entire trip the staff watched our belongings and stayed with us for questions. I'd do this trip again tomorrow! Our guide Voja (sp) was incredible and made the entire trip worthwhile.

This is an absolute must. Your guides are amazing. The horseback riding and zip lining are a lot of fun. The traditional Dominican meal of fried chicken was amazing. Could not all for a better tour of a working farm with bananas, cacao, and coffee. All of the hosts are so friendly. The intamacy if a small group was excellent.

This is tour is by far the most educational, funny, eventful & adventurous tour I have ever taken. From the minute they pick you up. You drive the Jeep before the tour begins and after it ends they give your money’s worth. We drove both on and off road. You get to see a typical Dominican village. We met Christian if you don’t who he is now you will definitely remember him after the tour. He has a beautiful Dominican style home organically engineered. (It is a sight to see) He has a natural irrigation system he build himself, apart from making Organic coffee and chocolate he makes mamajuana as well. Mike or Michael is the tour informant he is very kind and teaches you a lot about the agriculture the country has as well as the benefits of each and every plant, fruit or vegetable found on the island. (Maybe not every single one but but you get my drift) I’m Dominican and I learned a lot about myself and the wealth Dominican Republic has to offer. But it doesn’t end there! After that went horse back riding and zipped through the sky. And right after lunch ! (even the food you eat has a story behind it) And then we went home. The end ! Totally kidding after this we stopped at a cigar making shop and a gift shop ( you get to make your own cigars) and there aren’t any vendors pressuring you to buy)). Last but not least we stopped a beautiful beach, where we ate again yes again. The Jeep Tour group is the best tour to date that I have done in Dominican Republic I live here everyone well worth every penny. It did rain on my tour btw we started with the jeeps completely open and uncovered when it started raining they stopped everyone and they hoped out of there car like a swat team to put the covers back on the Jeep just to make sure we didn’t get wet. ( they got really wet) The Punta Cana Jeep tour was the highlight of my best friends trip here I’m when he came to visit. I will be doing it again. Enjoy the pictures.

If you're traveling to the Dominican Republic this is a must do! This tour is great for couples, families, or friends. My wife and I had an absolute blast and we got so much more than what we thought we were paying for. The guides were friendly, informative, and we felt safe the entire time. The jeeps were older and beat up a little, which is exactly what I wanted for the authentic feel. I wouldn't change anything in the tour. Thanks again Just Safari!!!

Marinarium, located in Punta Cana, is a popular destination offering various ocean tours that attract visitors from all over. The available excursions include Reef Explorer, Marinarium Snorkeling Cruise, Sunny Day Sailing Cruises, and the Happy Hour. The Happy Hour Cruise is particularly popular among groups of friends as it includes stops for snorkeling and relaxing in waist-high water while enjoying drinks and snacks with a lively atmosphere provided by a deejay.
Awesome tour, great vibes, good music, snorkle with nurse sharks and stingrays, party in a lagoon, limited open bar on the catamaran. Very cool excursion. Worth the price.
Sean H — Google review
They take us to the cage in the middle of the ocean where not too far away from the beach. But the water was super clear, and we did a short snorkeling. We can see a lot of fish, a few of nurse shark, and a few of menta inside the cage. Then they took us to another spot where the deep was about 1.6m and we can swim in the middle of the ocean with Clean water.
Brian — Google review
We planned a trip with 10 friends to the Happy Hour Cruise. This option included a stop to snorkel, a stop with waist high water to hang out, drink and enjoy the beautiful blue water. This cruise has a deejay and serves drinks and snacks so be prepared! It's loud and fun but bring sunscreen and eat something before your cruise!
Amy D — Google review
First, when you get there, there's a crocodile in the smallest cage. Its incredibly sad. As for the trip itself, we would have liked more time snorkling. The sharks/stingrays are a little underwhelming. They loaf at the bottom of the fenced in area and then you get to kind of hold a stingray for a picture. If you are a good swimmer you have the opportunity to snorkel and check out the sporadic reefs. The lunch consists of a sinple cheese or ham and cheese sandwich. We dont drink, but there was pop and water. The sand bar was nothing to write home about. And probably my least favorite part, the music was SO LOUD. I wore ear plugs the entire time. It was a lot of college students drinking and having fun. The staff was great though!
Kelsey R — Google review
We did the snorkeling with the nurse sharks and sting rays. The coral from the boat to the cage area was the best part. The sand bar they took us to killed the vibe. Would have rather floated and checked out the coral than go party.
Adam L — Google review
The scenery was beautiful and the staff were kind, but we did the Reef Explorer and the water was VERY murky. We BARELY saw a shark and a stingray and the included snacks had obviously been left out all day. The only reason we left satisfied was because the staff saw we were strong swimmers and took us over to the other excursion's area to see the bigger shark which was cool.

Embark on an exhilarating adventure with the Punta Cana Dune Buggy experience offered by Xtreme Buggy Punta Cana. This isn't just a typical buggy tour; it's a deep dive into the local culture, people, and hidden treasures of the area. The dune buggies allow you to zip around stunning beaches and tackle challenging sand dunes for an off-roading thrill like no other.
We did the tour in January. More fun than I expected! I'm not the adventure type but this was a blast. Roads were very muddy with a lot of pot holes full of water. Wear bathing suits and flip flops with clothes you plan to throw out. Bring sunglasses or you will need to buy a pair. They provide pictures that you can purchase not expensive. Do not bring cameras or phones!! Fun for all ages

Our confirmation said that we would be picked up at our hotel at the hard rock in Punta Cana at 8:20. The company never showed up to pick us up. When we reached out by phone, no one answered. When we attempted to contact them through the ‎WhatsApp as recommended on their website No one answered that either. We attempted to message four times with no answer. We also tried emailing. After waiting for an hour we gave up. This is been an incredible inconvenience and disheartening as we have wasted a large chunk of time on our family vacation. We do not recommend that anyone use this company. There are several other great options in the area. We watched several other companies Come pick up their customers in front of us

Please be careful what you book! This is a 3rd party company that works with Macao Buggies Punta Cana- had I read their reviews and known that I would have gone elsewhere. Fortunately we were traveling with a native DR resident so we knew what to ask, but not everything you read online is true. The cigar making is not cigar making, they will give you a "sample" to take home but don't actually roll your own- an experience our husbands we looking forward to and why we went with PCDB to begin with as they were one of the only ones to offer this. Dune buggies were old, multiple of our group broke down along the way and had to be fixed. Buggies are actually jump started with two wires- is this even safe? No mud- however not to companies fault as it did not rain, I feel like that would have made the experience better. No traveling through "lush tropical areas" we mostly went through a residential streets lined with trash and residents begging for money. However Macao beach- was Amazing! definitely worth going to- just wish we had more that 15 mins. The cave was fun, we had 10 mins to jump in but is a total tourist trap. The company did give us a discount for the inconvenience but it would have been nice if they were open and honest from the beginning. Lesson learned.

Nestled within the Bavaro Princess All Suites Resort, Avalon Casino Punta Cana is a vibrant and intimate gaming destination that promises an exciting experience for both novice and seasoned gamblers. This charming casino features a diverse array of table games such as blackjack, roulette, and poker, alongside numerous slot machines to keep the adrenaline pumping. With its 24-hour operation, guests can indulge in their favorite games at any time. Avalon Casino also hosts regular poker tournaments and special events that add to the lively atmosphere.
I went here during a recent trip just to play poker. Had such a great time I stayed to close. Person who steals the show here is poker dealer “Jimmy”. Not only does he remember everyone’s names. He goes above and beyond for everyone at the table. Things I didn’t like. No free drinks. No food to be had mostly. Was made to turn my baseball hat around at entrance. I found this both awkward and strange. The action started as hold ‘em. Then went to dealers choice. There’s a disco here and an after hours. Lot of creepy working girls here if that’s your thing. Got propositioned in the parking lot. Laughed it off was hungry for food and nothing else. I’ll be back thanks Jimmy

My husband and I had the best time at this casino! It was right outside of our resort and extremely affordable! The casino was super clean and felt safe with all the security walking around. There's also a nightclub inside the casino which was pretty cool.

DO NOT PLAY THE FREE GAME WHEN YOU ENTER!!!!!!!!!! Plain and simple it’s a scam don’t do it. They try and rope you in with 20$ free bets. We ended up losing 1000$. Apart from that the poker was good. Jim the dealer was fantastic! They have 1 table of 1/3 Texas hold ‘em, which was good.
Damien L — Google review
It's exactly as the star rating says, ok. In a rough looking area yet part of a hotel. It's outdated and felt quite intimidating (lot of folk staring all the time) but the staff were nice enough and the dealer i played blackjack with was a great guy.
Dave W — Google review
Scam Alert ! Free Game as you enter. I won 3400 dollars (USD) but they did not give it to me. He said you didn’t hit the number. I said ok, please turn the camera on so we both can see. There were 6 cameras and yes you are right, not one camera was working at that time. Now - Let me tell you the scam! He will keep telling you the casino want you to quit right now. You have this money points. Now the scam : he is cheating on the board! He counts the number and make it sound tempting for us. I won 3400 dollars. He miscounted the board and quickly removed the balls. When I said I want the camera to see my exact numbers. He said take your 80 dollars back and I will give you a free game. It’s all rigged. I would have won’t first 2500 dollars but he scammed me once. And then again at 3200. Ended up feeling like a LOSER! The American accent old age guy is just there to scam and make a living. PLEASE DONT PLAY THAT GAME!

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana is a vibrant music-themed beach property that exudes rock star swagger and luxury. Spanning 121 acres along Macao Beach, the resort offers 13 pools with swim-up bars, nine diverse restaurants, 23 bars and lounges, a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course, a lavish spa, and an expansive casino with Vegas-style gaming options.
We just got back from a family vacation at Hard Rock Punta Cana and overall had a really good time. I went with my wife and our two kids, and there were plenty of fun things for all of us to do throughout the week—pools, activities, and enough going on that the kids were never bored. They absolutely loved it. The food was good across the board, with lots of variety, but there were high wait times for a few of the more popular restaurants, especially at peak hours, so be prepared for that. Our room was good—comfortable and clean—and the service overall was solid. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. One annoying thing was how hard it was to break 100s or get smaller change; it became a bit of a hassle at times. I’d also strongly recommend avoiding the membership / timeshare-style presentations—they’re a waste of time and can cut into your vacation. The beach itself is nice and the water is great, but the area could be cleaned up a bit more to really match the rest of the resort. On the plus side, the main lobby is lively and fun, with good music and a great crowd, so it’s a nice place to hang out in the evenings. All in all, we had a good family vacation, and the kids had a blast. A few minor frustrations, but a fun, memorable trip.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Our butler, Sammy, was truly the standout of our trip. He was incredibly attentive, always quick to help with any questions or needs, and consistently delivered everything with such high quality. He greeted us with a smile every single time and even joined in on our family jokes and laughter, which made our stay feel extra special and personal. The staff at the members pool and beach were also top notch—friendly, professional, and always making sure we were comfortable. The amenities throughout the property were impressive, and we loved the diversity of food options at the restaurants. Overall, it was a fantastic experience start to finish, and we can’t wait to return!

Went down for the fifth time to HR with our teenagers. We had fun golfing, the beach is gorgeous. The food is decent for an all inclusive. The staff is just amazing. Our butlers Elvido and Rafael handle everything to make the vacation smooth. The staff at the HOF beach area are attentive and our friends at Uncorked always arrange nice quiet evenings. Looking forward to see them all again at Christmas and New Year’s. HR make a wickedly fun New Year’s party. Patricia and Billy

The beach is beautiful and perfect for relaxing. Overall, a great place with great people. We truly enjoyed our vacation and would happily return!

We just returned from our trip to the Hard Rock Hotel in Punta Cana, and the highlight of our entire stay was our incredible butler, Sammy. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Sammy was attentive without ever being intrusive. He visited with us multiple times a day and regularly messaged us to check-in and provide information about the day’s activities. He handled every request from our 8-person party quickly, and learned our family fast and seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even asked. Whether it was arranging dinner and spa reservations, car service, tee times, room requests, and even special requests, his service was truly exceptional. What really stood out was his kindness and genuine desire to make our vacation special. He was always smiling, always professional, and made us feel like Hall-of-Famers the entire time. He always cut up and made jokes with the guys and treated the ladies like queens. If you’re staying at Hard Rock Punta Cana and have the chance to request a butler, ask for Sammy. He absolutely made our trip unforgettable, and we can’t thank him enough. He’s been part of the Hard Rock family for over 9 years and is hands-down the best butler that we have had. He has tons of experience and personality.

My stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. The property is beautiful, immaculate, and thoughtfully designed, but what elevated my experience to another level was the extraordinary service provided by my butler, Brayner Rodriguez Pache. Brayner’s professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine warmth made me feel incredibly well taken care of from the moment I arrived. He consistently anticipated my needs, handled every request with efficiency and grace, and added thoughtful touches that made my stay unforgettable. His dedication to excellence is clear, and his hospitality is truly world-class. The room was elegant and comfortable, the amenities were excellent, and every staff member I encountered was welcoming. But Brayner’s personalized service was the highlight of my stay and the reason I would confidently recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious and memorable experience. I look forward to returning — and I sincerely hope to be assisted by Brayner Rodriguez Pache again.

Juan Jackson is an amazing entertainer. The best. Hotel clean, food good, restaurants Japanese and Italian as well as French. People are very friendly and kind. All the waiters are great. Our conceiage is the best Angel. All the ULC club workers did their best for us. I will come back again and again.

This resort is very clean and well maintained. The food is okay, but the coffee bar was definitely the highlight,we really loved it! The Brazilian and Japanese restaurants were also quite good. The Kids Club was a big plus, as they have staff who take great care of the kids. The shows at the theatre were very entertaining and fun for the whole family. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this resort.

We have had an amazing 2 weeks stay at this hotel as a family of 5. Rooms cleaned everyday. Food good. The best part of our stay was Johanna megia, she looked after us every morning and afternoon at the buffet restaurants. She was amazing and never left us without a drink. She was fabulous!! All of our family will miss seeing you for sure.

Everyone experiences are different but very disappointed in this hotel. And we still have 5 more days to go. Food in the main restaurant is the same every day NO themed nights, uncooked burgers and so bland. No entertainment on for the children at night or adults. Location you literally have to walk 40+ mins to get to a supermarket that isn't a rip off. VIP membership get some benefits but wouldn't be worth paying for them. Room was still dirty and the beds well please look into them when you get here, balcony door stiff. Oh and be ready to be eaten alive, by various bugs as no mosquito nets around the beds, they do not spray the hotel area to help reduce them and it's absolutely horrendous, never in my life have I been bitten this much. The beach bed are all broken in the peasant area, and you have to be a VIP member to have the ones that aren't broken. They don't rack the beach/sand so loads of leaf debris and it's ants galore. The sea is very rough this side of the island and overall not the best and definitely not a 5 star because the point above would be done. Stayed at the Riu in JA at max capacity and it wasn't this dirty. Definitely not recommended but I guess you'll see when you get here.

Overall location is good, staff are nice (spicy in entertainment team especially), but the food overall isn’t very good. It’s not only repetitive, but not that great. Even with the “special” restaurants that you have to book in advance (like the Brazilian) aren’t very good either. So decent place yeah, nice beach, but I wouldn’t say it’s worth the money it actually is to stay here.

My son had a great time at this resort. This resort is perfect for family with young kids. There's plenty of things to do from the beach, pool and slides for kids and adults.Night time activities is for all ages. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. We had a great time creating memories at this resort. My son is already asking us when we're coming back. Our extended family also stayed at this resort with us but we all stayed at different area's of the resort. We all loved our rooms. Very clean and complete of all the necessities we needed for our stay. We will come back again and will reccommend it to our family and friends in Canada.

Our stay at the Grand Sirenis was great! The housekeepers took such good care of us and we loved the energy at the hotel. The staff were all so welcoming, especially Yeny Bares at the main bar - she was amazing! We always felt like she was excited to see us and whenever we walked by she was ready with a table for us (and always remembered our drink order and kept them coming!). The spa was also amazing. Don't sleep on the hydrotherapy circut there. So relaxing. Such a great experience!
