Hands down the best burger in town! We've been coming to this place for more than 10 years every time we are in Yverdon and we are very happy that the quality and taste have never changed.
The burger was very good – the only critical point is that the burger buns could be a bit thinner. The fries were rather weak, with few whole pieces and mostly small bits. The beer, on the other hand, was excellent. So, for beer and burgers, it’s definitely worth it!

After 40 minutes waiting for 3 pizza's one of them arrived half eaten... With one portion missing. And cutted In small Pieces to try to disguise it... We asked for a change and they did it. Not very willingly and not even apologised for the obvious and rough try to sell "used" food. Never saw that in my entire life.
Food and service was average. We were there on a Saturday evening and it was not very busy. The atmosphere was not so nice. It was not super clean and i didn't find it too cosy.
They have a great variety of Pizza, I would guess it is 35+. The Pizza was super large and made in a stone oven. They were so kind to offer me a seat, although I was the last guest due to the bad weather outside. Thank you!

The café on the promenade in Yverdon-les-Bains is a popular spot for locals to enjoy a delicious fondue, prepared with love according to the house tradition.

Very nice little eatery. Our server was very nice. The food was delicious, I had the Classic Bagel, with fried potatoes and my wife had the white fish salad.
They had a great selection of beers and thier cheese fondue seemed to be very popular as 3 tables around us were enjoying it. Will try it the next time I am in Yverdon-les-Bains.

Since moving to New York, every visit back to Switzerland turns into a quest to find great frog legs, and after trying numerous places, we have finally found THE spot. From now on, Le Ranch will be our go-to every time we visit—it's worth the trip, literally!
While enjoying our meal, we couldn’t help but notice the beautifully presented dishes being served to other guests. Everything looked absolutely delicious, and we can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu.

Came here after reading the reviews and they absolutely did not disappoint! This was in recent memory, the most striking “don’t judge a book by its cover” restaurant experience. Do not let the unpretentious decor and staff sway you from opening the rather focused menu and ordering anything off of it.
We ordered the escargot appetizer as well as the Thai sampler starter, which were perfectly cooked and beautifully presented.
The perch was cooked to perfection, and having a soft spot for perfectly executed pommes frites, I was in heaven.
Service is very helpful and highly attentive, and the presentation of the food items was exceptional. We only wish we had enough room to try some of the lovely desserts they offer.
If you’re looking for unpretentious outdoor dining with superb service, and very fair prices, look no further.

Had a fantastic meal on Thursday night,best fondue we have ever had.the food was very tasty and plenty of it so much we could not finish it all.the staff were excellent and super friendly and the service first rate. They even spoke some English, which was better than my french 🤣 we would definitely go back and would recommend it to everyone, fantastic happy atmosphere.

I came back to this traditional French leaning bistro for the first time in about 25 years to discover it was under new ownership, now managed by a fun and energetic little lady from Madagascar since last October. She is accompanied by a young servant staff, really interested in you as a guest. They have a small but varied menu and everything is prepared and cooked on site. There is a good choice of wine by the glass. Overall, a pleasant surprise so I will certainly return. Recommended!

This restaurant is in a beautiful spot by the lake, perfect for an early evening meal when the weather is warm. The menu is very simple but the Indian food is tasty, and there are pizzas and the option of filet de perches for the unadventurous. The "samossa & tikki" starter is quite expensive for what it is - one vegetable samosa and one tikki (onion bhaji) with a couple of sauces and tomato ketchup (!) - but we always end up getting it anyway. The Thali seem to be the house speciality, offering several smaller dishes on a platter. We had salads with chicken brochettes and samosas, both good. If you're used to proper (British!) Indian cuisine, don't bother with the nan bread - you'll be disappointed. Very polite and friendly service. We'll keep going back.

Been in Yverdon-les-Bains for a week, tried a few restaurants, basically they were ok, not that great and to be honest slightly overpriced. Then I stumbled across LeBotanik, what a gem, great service, excellent quality of food, good selection of local wines with a nice warm ambience, I will be back to try other things on their innovative menu, and not overly pretentious, I strongly recommend this gorgeous little restaurant ❤️❤️

This is what you used to expect in a fine restaurant of this caliber -- honest, perfectly prepared food, made from the best ingredients, and with no pretension or the sort of silly over-wrought presentations full of unrecognizable "stuff," that one now expects to encounter in starred restaurants. Bravo! I've eaten here 4 times in a year and it's utterly consistent. Not to be missed if you are in the region, and if not, consider making a detour to Yverdon so that you can enjoy this place.

A wonderful experience, the place is great with nice view on the lake of Neuchatel, the tables are wide and comfortable, the service is polite and elegant. The quality of food is top and the menu is well structured, we decided to take the complete menu and we remained surprised by the choices of the chef. We will come back for sure!

Then i called the neighbouring hotel La Prairie, and guess what? The whole staff stayed at work Because of us, and they served us a dinner even After 21:00. Christopher, our waiter made a professional job, was very kind and helpful. We tried the Solaris wine, which was amazing! Thanks to Christopher for His recommendation. The food was briliant. We had a seabass fillet, with homemade mayo, Orange reduction and mashed potatoes. Wow. I can only recommend you this place, amazing staff, either in kitchen and service too. I will be happy to come back.

If I could leave 0 stars I would, I would not recommend ‘La Pinte’ unless you enjoy an unwelcoming, uptight environment to eat your meal. The staff were impatient and unfriendly, you could really sense there was a pressure on them or they were overworked due to a complete lack of empathy. The kitchen staff themselves were rude and could be seen through glass doors making unsavoury faces and gestures. The whole atmosphere of the restaurant was off-putting as soon as we walked in, we weren’t approached and were instead gawked at. I’m glad we left instead of getting bullied into ordering overpriced food.

The restaurant has a nice deck with lake views and the food was consistent with a typical fare in this price range. Service was slow (it was busy) and not particularly friendly. My daughter ordered spaghetti bolognese and was accidentally given a child portion (the child's plate was for a table next to us). The waiter did not seem to know how to correct the situation as my daughter's serving was delivered to a happy child and already in the process of being eaten. We accepted the smaller portion as we were not going to wait for another one to be prepared. I was unable to pay our bill using Google Pay as their system was not functioning and yes we were charged for a full portion of spaghetti. I did receive a comped cup of espresso.

It was Ok but the meat was for my taste fried to far and had a aftertaste of not clean or cheep oil.The vegetables were overcooked and the sauce was just a white creamy fatty sauce with added lemon. You can see dish in the pictures. Pic. no 14. The price was for what I got, really overpriced. 38 Sfr. Let's say I have had much better! Improve and I will be back!

Paying 38 CHF (around 40 €) for a hamburger that was disgusting, French fries with the skin to throw in the garbage and 1 beer is really too much, if I went to MC Donald's I ate better. Truly a shameful thing, never again!!!

The food was really good (especially the tartare!) but the service seemed to be whereelse and the waiting time is really long, even though there are not a lot of people around.
Had dinner there with children. Nice and atmosphere place. But the service! Mpg! Guys, you don't have enough hands! The children almost fell asleep on the table while we were waiting to place an order, dishes, bill etc. The most delicious was the ice cream! Cheese was icy cold straight out of the fridge! Please improve 😉
I am extremely disappointed by this establishment. We were a table of three, we arrived at 19:00 with a reservation, the 3rd groupe in the place and our food arrived at the table at 22:01. Other tables got their main dish before us despite arriving after us. We did not order an appetizer for two out of the three of us so had to wait 2h to start eating. I even ordered still water and it never came. Our waiter paid no attention to our table. He said to be new but even then there was a second one and we still waited 2h. The meat was very chewy, not to my expectations at all, the cook probably rushed because they were so late in orders. We missed our train home already by far so we had to rush to take the next one so we skipped dessert. They offered limoncello as compensation as we were leaving but we had no time and it was too little too late. They might had too many orders for a Tuesday night but still accepted our reservation so for me there's no excuse!
Main dish was tasty but meet texture far from ideal, and waiting time ~ 30 min +-ok. But more than 45 min waiting of dessert it's too much, even if it was very good
Very nice experience for an anniversary/brunch. Organized a very large table for 35 people.
Very friendly service and the hot stone filet was beautiful.

Went with my wife to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary.
Amazing ambiance, the food brought me back to spain with every mouthfull.
I'd decinetly reccomend.
We went for sharing some tapas and drank some draft spanish beer ( estrella galicia ).

Warm and utterly friendly welcome.
Some first class Spanish ham for starters and the best imaginable paella followed by a mango tatin made this visit to the circulo espanol an outstanding experience.
The menu is rich and we will certainly return. regularly to this great place which just re-opened.

All the dishes we ordered were served fast and in addition it was delicious, next time we are going to reserve paella in advance (it's necessary to do 24h in advance) to try!

The food is worth for a try if you have plenty of time because the service is crazy slow. We waited 40 minutes for the menu and another 40 minutes for the food. Even asked for bill took 20minutes.
Yet another hidden gem! I was lucky enough to stumble on this one. Family friendly, simple but refined decoration, cosy atmosphere and great cuisine! (The desserts are to die for)

Nestled in the charming town of Yverdon-les-Bains, Mian Fan is a delightful Asian restaurant that has quickly become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. After four years of exploring Switzerland for authentic Asian cuisine, many have found their culinary haven here. The menu boasts an array of flavorful dishes, including the Kun Ming beef noodle soup and stir-fried beef hor fun, both celebrated for their authenticity and rich taste reminiscent of Asia.
What an awesome Asian restaurant find in Switzerland! 4 years of living here and scouring the country (and actually the continent) for authentic and unadulterated Asian food, I think we’ve found it here at Mian Fan!
We had the Kun Ming beef noodle soup and the stir fried beef hor fun. Both dishes were packed with flavour - well balanced and tasted very close to what they usually do back in Asia.
The beef soup broth in particular was a standout: I could tell that it was probably simmered for hours using fresh ingredients, resulting in a full, but yet still delicate and refined flavour. It was none of the MSG-laden, adulterated for the non-Asians’ tastebuds stuff. And the slices of beef shank were so tender and cooked to such perfection that they melted in my mouth. I’m not exaggerating. Also loved how the lady owner of Mian Fan dialled up the spices in my bowl of noodles, knowing that I appreciate the good kick of heat to take me back closer to flavours I’m familiar with. I couldn’t stop telling her “这碗面好好吃! 😋”
Talking about the lady owner, what an affable and energetic lady she is. It was delightful to meet somebody who is 100% devoted to delivering authentic flavours by not cutting corners and expanding the Europeans’ palate beyond the usual sweet and sour pork/chicken by introducing Asian dishes less commonly found here in Switzerland on her menu. Appreciate her belief in representing Asian food well and bringing more of our flavours to Switzerland.

We ordered Gyoza and Fried ravioli for entrees, and Yakibuta ramen, Chong Qing noodle soup, and Jingjiang rousi for our main meal.
All of them were very nice. As someone who has trouble handling spicy food, yakibuta ramen was perfect.
My favorite Asian restaurant. Excellent and authentic chinese and Japanese food.
From noodles and ramen to all the usual meat and vegetarian dishes, with a nice selection of more traditional ones.
The owner is very nice and always happy to chat and answer questions provided she isn't busy.
As a Chinese and someone who has visited Japan, I would say that the Chinese and Japanese food of Mianfan is very authentic! They are completely different from the “fake” Asian food that you can usually find in Europe. Especially the noodle soup, amazingly tasty. I highly recommend it!

Watch out when a restaurant is a combination of different asian cuisines like this one is “Chinese” “thai” as well as “Japanese” they have a huge selection from absolutely different things they don’t specialize in one thing. Chinese/thai/japanese foods are all very different from each other and they have no shame serving terrible food to customers
The food was great, very authentic and delicious. it was prepared rather fast but you could tell with a lot of love. The Staff was incredibly nice, polite and made sure everything was perfect !

I had the duck curry for almost 30 Swiss Francs and the portion was quite small. I’m not used to eat large portions but this one was too small even for me.
The Phad Thai was just enough for one child. Definitely not enough for an adult.
I was told that the portions are weighted, so I would suggest to increase the weight of the portions.

I had lunch today and I have to explain a couple of things. ( You can see my comments from last time below).I have given this restaurant 3 stars and that because I compare it with restaurants in general not only restaurants in Yverdon. But for the food I would give it 4 Stars in comparison with the other restaurants in town. Today lunch was worth every single penny. 24.50Sfr.
Italian, French and local food kitchen. Very good and well made food with high quality! It's not fancy, and not trying to be either. What I like is, the fact everything is made on spot by the chefs. Price very much ok for what you get! The atmosphere is welcoming, and the "Salle à Manger" is very nice. If you like meat, you should try one of the steaks with Beurre Maison, it's really worth it.

Lunch again and really great surprises. The kitchen performance is soo intact when it comes to quality. The food excellent with high quality of material and masterly prepared. The price ( 23 CHF) is nothing in comparison to what you get. In comparison to places outside Yverdon, I have a problem to rate, but in the town of Yverdon it should have at least 4-5 stars.
