Where to eat: the 50 best restaurants in Beaune

I had a great meal here, wonderful little spot that only seats about 30-people. Reservations are a must but you’ll be glad you made the effort. That wine list is fantastic! It’s incredibly hard to settle on just one bottle.

The most amazing wine list. Had the tasting menu, food was great and clearly designed to complement the wines. Portions were small so you might consider topping up from the a la carte. Service was not particularly warm but that's fine. And you definitely need a reservation.

I found the food lovely but not stunning or worth the price and our overall dining experience was uncomfortable and insulting. food: We opted for the tasting menu which included three starters, two mains and a dessert. portions were quite small. Hake dish included minced hake, minced to same size as the apples and potatoes or was mixed with, but there were far more apples and potatoes than fish, we had a very difficult time finding any fish to be honest. the other fish dish was essentially a doughy fish poached meatball, which had a slight fish flavor, served in a delicious sauce, but the fish was but an essence. rabbit ravioli was very tasty but was but one single ravioli. the other items i don't recall. value: I ordered two glasses of wine, they had 3 reds only by the glass and I was told the first two were natural (and hence "funky") so only one red was a refined option. our check came to 162€ with two dinners and two glasses of wine. we were still a little hungry. service: I made our reservations 2 months prior and we were the first guests to arrive when they opened. despite that, we were seated on a plank of wood over a well on high chairs, facing a wall with our backs to the other guests and the outside dining area, with no room for our long legs. it was awkward and uncomfortable. when I asked to be moved to an empty table for two I was refused. I guess we weren't good enough for an actual table? they also wanted to serve my red Bourgogne wine in a tiny ISO glass and take away the red Bourgogne glass from the "table". what the heck!? as I write this, I'm actually a little angry and offended at the overall experience we had and cannot recommend this restaurant, nor would I return. We had a much more pleasant dining experience at La Lune for a fraction of the price.

Lovely meal, pleasant but unpretentious atmosphere, and a very reasonably priced set lunch menu. The dishes were all tasty (and very pretty), but perhaps a bit more style than substance.

Service was a bit snobby at first. This changed when the owner came in and gave a friendly hello to all the guest in the restaurant. Sommelier was nice! Food was really good. Had the lunch menu with a friend and it’s a 5/5 price/quality wise.

This is a must if you’re going to Beaune. Their pre-fixe dinner is criminally underpriced, and is fantastic—probably the best in Beaune. The real draw for us, though, is their exceptional wine list. This is a place where the same wine on their list would be available for 3-4x elsewhere. This is why it’s very difficult to secure a table. I suggest booking as early as possible. The drawback is that being in summer, we sat out back where other patrons were smoking heavily. It took away from enjoying the wine. Ideally the smoking area is separate enough so non-smokers are not affected.

An exceptional dining experience! Le Bénaton delivered on every level — the ingredients were incredibly fresh, the presentation was refined and artistic, and the flavors were soft, subtle, and perfectly balanced. Every dish felt thoughtful and elegant without being overdone. A true culinary gem in Beaune — highly recommended!

Don’t bother coming to this restaurant, they lost their one star Michelin star last year and haven’t advised their future clients of this. The service was atrocious, asking for simple things like a bread plate and butter were not given. The food was okay., but their service was terrible, the atmosphere was that of a local cafe. If you’re looking for a fine dining experience, do not go to this place.. there are sure to be many other places around that are much better where you’ll be looked after with better food and better Service. Extremely disappointing..

Really are very well. French with a twist of Japan. Really tasteful, very subtle. Really nice to look at and surprising to eat. The dishes are near perfection and service was very good and attent. We walked out being very happy

I had looked forward to dining at Le Bénaton — a place known for good qualify and precision. Yet, the experience left me quietly disappointed. The wine, though highly rated, was flat and lifeless — not flawed, but devoid of presence. It lacked aroma, energy, and any sense of Vosne-Romanée. The fish dish was technically fine, but emotionally empty. It melted away in the mouth without leaving any lasting impression — a dish difficult to remember. What compounded the issue was the sommelier’s overconfidence. Recommendations were offered with certainty, but they didn’t align with what was poured or what was served. It felt more like performance than understanding. I still respect the ambition of the restaurant. But for an establishment that aspires to refinement, I expected more quiet depth — and less misplaced conviction.

Original dishes and delicious flavors. Not sure why so many 1-stars but this place is really, really good. Not busy. If you can afford it, try it.

Very friendly people . We arrived totally wet from the rain. They offered some towels to dry. Nice little restaurant. Mixture of Asian- European tastes. Nice wine arrangement. Excellent food, light and nicely presented

The classic french dishes....high class ingredients and not with small thing just and not with decorations things nowadays lots of fench restaurants like that . The wine list is also excellent.

Food is no doubt tasty. Wine list is average - only mostly new and average wine, especially for a restaurant in Burgundy. But the service was horrible, maybe that’s because we are Asian and we came in bicycles (it was by choice since we wanted to drink more). Never experienced something like this in Burgundy but it is what it is. Unfortunately this was my wife’s first meal in Bourgogne.

Such an amazing meal, possibly one of the best meals I've ever experienced. It's a tiny restaurant (around 18 seats) and most of the seats are facing the chefs kitchen, so you're always entertained watching the meals be prepared. This was a 2 man show the busy Friday night we were there, 1 waiter and 1 chef. They aren't looking for the quick in and out, they want you to enjoy the food & drink and you just order as your hunger dictates. We booked a few weeks in advance because we knew it got busy and tables didn't become available until after 10pm when we were there. The food was outstanding, fresh, well cooked, immaculately presented and generously proportioned.. Bring cash for the tips as they are unable to add this to card settlements and trust me you'll want to tip.

Loved our experience at La Lune! I wholeheartedly recommend La Lune for personalized service, delicious food, interesting menu, connection to the chef (if you sit at the shared table/bar you can watch him create). We paid twice the price at Cave Madeline and were very disappointed there. I wish we are at La Lune both nights, there are just enough menu options to allow you to mix things up. Get reservations by messaging on Facebook. Reservations are required as the restaurant is very small.

A comptoir that is run by a Japanese Chef Seiichi for 12-16 pax. The dishes are limited but very delicious. It's kinda fusion of French dishes using some Japanese ingredients and techniques. It's good to seat at the counter to watch the Chef as it might take some time to be served because he's cooking alone. The wine list is reasonably priced and there's enough choices. Be sure to reserve in advance as this is a small place.

Simply one of the best restaurant experiences we have ever had. We were lucky to get a reservation only a couple days before our Wednesday night dinner. Didn’t know what to expect, but we were absolutely blown away by the staff, the food, and the view into the kitchen. Fresh, seasonal ingredients, expertly prepared, beautifully plated without using tweezers, or foams, or any other gimmicks that are so common in so-called high-end restaurants lately. Amazing flavors, simple preparations, excellent portion sizes, reasonable prices, great wine recommendations, and a casual and friendly atmosphere. All restaurants should aspire to this.

Highly recommend this excellent, unique restaurant. Sit at the counter if you can, you get dinner and a show as you watch a one man band chef work nonstop, turning high-end ingredients into perfectly executed dishes. The wine list is solid, and the sole server was a great guy, welcoming and helpful. Cool vibe. I’d definitely go again and recommend it to friends who like to eat well.

I’m in love. This place is AMAZING!!! Best place to dine in Beaune. Every dish we ordered had incredible flavors and the service was spot on! Everything was prepared in front of you, so you get to experience the magic. And it was truly a magical and transformative experience. The Chef clearly cares about how he makes and presents every dish. It was a wonderful evening and an exceptional dining experience! La Lune goes on our list of favorite places to dine in Beaune! We’re lucky to get the last minute reservation. After trying I could understand why it’s fully booked. The oyster was of high quality. The risotto was cooked till the right time. The dessert was a perfect ending! They also had a huge wine list. Totally recommend

Good steak. No vegetables. Wine at nine euros a glas ridiculously expensive given location. Nice desert. Total bill 135 euro for two.

Visited on a late day afternoon and they were extremely busy so I had to wait awhile for service, but what service I got was impeccable, the staff were very attentive and made sure everything was good. They served you some chips and snacks without you asking. The food was cooked to perfection, I had the veal and it was so tender and tasty.

It’s just 5* second visit and again superb. The menu is very simple. Many local dishes plus others, all cooked to perfection. The wine list featuring Leflaive Batard to a simple Pinot noir. If you’re in Beaune and you want incredible without over the top flashy, this is your place. Yes yes yes loved it see you for the third visit next time!!

This place is a home run. No pretension, just fantastic food and kind service. We ate: caprese salad, escargots, white asparagus with mustard, duck and mashed potatoes, beef tartare, steak and fries, profiteroles, lemon and raspberry sorbet, and a strawberry tart. Literally everything tasted great.

Great place from start to finish. The staff were all extremely friendly, efficient and professional. We had to wait a few minutes at the start but that was to accommodate our request for a table in the terrace. The wine list was good without being overwhelming and for people who want to try some amazing wines without needing to buy a bottle there is a list where you can buy by the glass or half bottle carafes. The food was very good as was the dessert. This place is good and worth a visit.

The food was fantastic. I really enjoyed oeufs en meurette, the scallops were delicious and we enjoyed the cheese also. I would have liked to try the mustard lunch menu - maybe next time! The only downside was that the atmosphere was a bit sterile and it wasn’t too busy either but the service was perfect.

Superb service and lovely food. Lamb ravioli was probably our favourite. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and had some great wine recommendations. It's quite pricey.

Great evening with delicious food and a good selection of wine by the glass. The oeuf en meurette is outstanding and the côte de veau is mouth watering.

Worth every penny. Not much on atmosphere but every dish was delicious, nothing was too heavy, and the service was out of this world. Our server was very open and shared his knowledge of the wines, which were A+. We had a lovely dinner. Definitely recommend checking out the dessert cart.

This restaurant was a true delight, so lucky to come across this restaurant with my brother during our stay in Beaune. The food is fantastic, you can taste the quality and feel the love the owners put into their food, they genuinely care. The 4 course meal was a great value, and the best way to sample everything. From start to finish, perfection, the owners suggestions were spot on (asking "vous recommandez?" goes a long way in France). We truly loved the desserts. Also the beef entree was out of this world. I cannot sing the praise of this restaurant enough, truly stood out on our trip to France which is an achievement in a country of fine cuisine. Wish we stayed in Beaune longer to come back!

A hidden gem with French cuisine on a side street of Beaune. We enjoyed a warm atmosphere and delicious homemade food. The morelle sauce on the steak with the Rösti was one of our food highlights during our trip in France. Merci beaucoup! Also worth mentioning the very good wine list which included many half bottles. And of course the desserts.

One of my favorite restaurants in France this trip. Small, intimate, and cute restaurant. Small and fresh menu. I will note this is one of the rare restaurants that listed a vegetarian dish (fresh pasta and eggplant balls). All dishes were delicious; you can tell the chef cares. Friendly and professional service. We had a big dog with us, not an issue at all.

This is a really nice little restaurant that we stopped by for lunch. We had their special offering of a pumpkin soup with burrata, duck and sweet potato casserole, and a pear tart. It was a perfect fall day lunch, reasonably priced, and the service was great.

When traveling, our goal is to have authentic local experiences outside of those marketed for typical tourists. We intentionally seek out small family-run restaurants and business, off the well-worn tourist trails. Le Petit Paradis is a perfect example. Tiny. Run by a husband and wife who are dedicated to fine cuisine. In a setting that is comfortable and intimate. Their cuisine is true to their roots in Beaune. Impeccable in its preparation and presentation. Without question the finest dinner we had in Beaune and equal to remarkable dining in Paris.

Best wine list in Beaune and not just because they have my wine! No really it's a gem a secret of the area go there if you love wines you'll never need another place. The food service and people are the best. You can feel how much they love what they do and their customers. Can't wait to go back

Welcoming and efficient service. Meat board was expertly put together and glass pour wines were perfect (Sancerre and Chablis). Reasonable prices all around. The space is exquisite!

We had dinner on the ground floor. We were seated inside as all the tables outside were filled. Wine list was huge 😵‍💫 but was helped by one of the waiters. Amazing. The we enjoyed the charcuterie and open sandwiches. We had some items on the a la carte. They had a peach, fig and burrata salad which was the tastiest plate of food I’ve had in a very long time. The staff was the able to move us outside when a table became free. We didn’t even ask! Highly recommend.

We stayed in the 3rd floor loft. Cosy and modern but with old features. This 15th century building was amazing. The stairs are crazy but super tight and skinny. We didn't think would get our case up there, then a guy from the restaurant helped. Could be an issue for a lot of people but the history and charm made it worth it for us. We’ve been to the bar. Great atmosphere, the Pata Negra jambon was excellent. Great wine, Antoine was very kind and helpful.

Probably the best wine bar in town when it comes to value for money. Paul, the sommelier is kind, friendly and extremely helpful. The food is very good and the wine list has a depth of vintages going back to early 00’s. I loved the eggs 63° as well as the amazing pistachio panna cotta. I would definitely be back on my next trip to Beaune

We went for some food and wine, the food is great and fresh but a bit pricey, the wine is great too since you have a large selection but we disliked the music and a bit of a too snobbery vibe.

We chose to save the “best for last” evening on our trip and were very excited for our dining experience at Le Carmin. The food exceeded our expectations and tasted phenomenal, with each dish beautifully crafted and bursting with flavor. The wine selection was excellent and perfectly complemented our meal. However, once bookings began to arrive, the quality of the service for a Michelin star restaurant deteriorated. Despite this, the overall ambience was impeccable, creating a memorable dining experience. A wonderful restaurant with room for improvement in service during peak times.

Fantastic Michelin star restaurant. Great service, great wine, and great food from start to finish. The presentation, the taste, and attention to detail was fantastic. Very large wine selection and excellent suggestions by the sommelier. Our best meal in Beaune. If they have the souffle on the menu, definitely order it!

Absolutely as expected and top-notch in food, presentation, ambience, and service. We stopped by for lunch and it as fabulous. The candied eggplant and wild boar cannelloni were wonderful entrees, the duck as the main was perfectly done, topped off by a chocolate mousse dessert. We will be back for dinner.

I’d preface this review by saying I myself am a restaurant manager for a Michelin guide listed restaurant. I’ve had poor experiences in restaurants but it’s with great sadness I would say that this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had in a Michelin star restaurant. The service started well but once the 8pm bookings arrived (clearly too many tables arriving at once) the 2 staff members were overwhelmed and run off their feet. Every attention to detail was lost. I never thought in a restaurant of this quality we would return the main course but 3 of us had turbot- it was so over cooked it was beyond dry and inedible. It was much better prepared once recooked and the staff handled it well. The pistachio soufflé was poorly prepared and way too eggy and sugary. The presentation of dishes was beautiful, the restaurant itself well appointed. I’m unsure if the team were having a bad night - maybe had some sick calls? But honestly for the price and the quality delivered and the overall experience it was terrible.

An unforgettable gastronomic journey. Though we’re in the midst of creating our own Olialia rosé, we still seek out the great châteaux, the guardians of wine, and the rare restaurants that live and breathe viticulture. Here, the service rises beyond five stars - by sheer luck we walked in without a reservation and found a table in a place where they are never free. The wine book is a bible, each page a treasure, and this Michelin sanctuary stands as the most compelling recommendation I can offer.

Simply divine. The service was impeccable. The food was fabulous and plentiful - we were so full after our meal! The wine list is extensive with a wide variety of price points.

It is very comfortable and friendly place. At about 3pm, I came here to have a cup pf tea. The only thing which was a shame was that it is a teabag not leaf, but it is quite normal to have tea in a teahouse in France. Other than this, everything is perfect. The staff speak English and she made detailed explanation for each cake for me and she as well as others were very friendly. The atmosphere of this teahouse is woody and comfortable. StHonore, tha cake I ate, tasted good. Moreover the price is affordable.

We enjoyed the food, the snail cake was really special and the asparagus and vitello tonnato were great. The filet mignon was just ok but the duck pastry was very tasty. The cheese plate was fab and we enjoyed the wines too - quite a few options available by the glass and surprisingly good creamant as an aperitif too. Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour between our starters and main courses as the waitress forgot to tell the kitchen we were ready. When we asked another waitress to check on our food after an hour wait, we were made to feel like we were being impatient.. there was also no gesture to apologize - offering a glass of house wine as a gesture would have been appropriate.

Loved the set menu. Good and bold flavours. Price vs quality is very well. The staff was friendly. We had a good seat upstairs, downstairs smelled very lovely. So we were a bit bummed we couldn't sit downstairs 😉

We booked ahead and had a lovely three course set meal. Food was delicious and was a lovely table outside. Staff were patient with the language difference and a phenomenal wine list. All up a great dinner experience.

This has really been our only food disappointment in Beaune and the surrounding region. While the vibe and service are fine and the entree and dessert were wonderful, the runny arugula ravioli in crab bisque with smoked perch and haddock was a total fail. Basically a wet egg-bun filled with a flavourless green mess, on a bed of overcooked pasta sheets, sitting on a bed of wet overdone greens, all soaked in a sauce that may have been appropriate for something else, but not this, with tiny cubes of haddock and perch. My comments are entirely personal for us but it amazed me how the chef could combine so many unidentifiable items similarly and totally lacking in any texture but with opposing flavours that were entirely non-complementary. Sort of like a seniors-home-hell main dish for people without teeth. It looked like the other four entrees of red meats on the menu were very nicely done so we just picked the wrong dish. The bananas flambé dessert was an excellent and needed palate cleanser. We were really looking forward to dinner here so it was a total downer because of that one dish but, obviously, other reviews are excellent so I wouldn’t discourage trying it out…..just don’t order that dish. Ever. Under any circumstances.

The curse of having eaten at more than a few BIB Gourmand is that we may judge them a bit harder. And since La Table du Square have more of a one star prices on some dishes, we were not impressed. On Plus: Charming, yes. Great wines at reasonable prices per glass. On Minus: Ants on the table and very dirty umbrellas over our heads. Food was too wet and gishy for my taste. The lobster tartar is 85% water melon. Fresh, watery taste,, yet not a premium starter at €23. The Duck, canette, was ok cooked. So why drown an already dead bird in a bland consommé? Skin could still have been crispy if not. The dessert. My kids did better dishes freebasing in the kitchen at 10 years old. Cookies, chocolate mousse, and roasted peanuts all mixed to a turd-o-rama. Comfort food, bien sur, but Michelin level, I think not. It is nice to have a sommelier. But if you ask your waiter to get another glass of the 5 per verre wines, and she looks terrified.. "oh no, only sommelier can do, I will get him" it is not cool. He was rather busy, and the leisurely charm of the place just got bureaucratic. For the same € 110, there are so many places I'd rather spend it on.

Overall good experience, staff was nice. There’s a car road passing through outdoor area (a little annoying), I couldn’t order from one of the staff, and she didn’t notify the staff tending my table either. Starter was good, duck was over cooked, and grilled peach desert a little boring. It was fairly cheap, but I was expecting more.

Situated in 8 minutes walking distance from the centre of Beaune, La Table du Square is well worth the short trek, if you are searching for fantastic French cuisine and superb service. La Table du Square has an excellent, local customer base and it is easy to see why it is so popular with Beaune residents. The Lobster Ravioli was packed full of flavour and lobster, no token gestures in that department, as was the Beef Bourguignon which was amongst the best I have ever tasted. Reasonably priced for a Michelin Guide restaurant, dog friendly and a tasty selection of wines, I will definitely be returning on my next visit to Beaune.

Fab little wine and tapas bar with excellent food (best panisse ever) and great wine by the glass. Booking advised. We were unluckily seated next to some very loud people from across the pond but the staff were swift to move us and we had a great evening.

Excellent food, great hospitality and a warm atmosphere. And of course an exceptional wine list (including lots of rotating by the glass options) leaning heavily toward organic and biodynamic producers. We loved it so much we came back for a second evening.

We popped in here for lunch, and yet again just superb food and wine to be had! We were very lucky to eat terrine, charcuterie and the sublime Haricots Vert in garlic oil - the best green beans we have ever had! All the reviews are spot-on with the recognition of the friendly staff and vibe!

When a pick from Google Maps turns out good you feel pleased. This is exactly what happened. One of the most sublime dinners. Each dish was great. The standout was the pork and the salad- especially the salad. Had some excellent wine by the glass. An Aligoté in white and a natural one in red. The biggest standout was the service from Yuka- thank you. July 2024

Probably the best place in the whole Beaune. Incredible wine choice, so big that you pick your bottle with the host, having a chat to assess your favorite choices. Service is straightforward, that shows confidence on how tasty everything is, you just want to discover more. Only good and down-to-earth people are coming here, we shared a bottle with a random couple next to us ❤️ can’t wait to come back!

Mega good time! Fantastic dinner, super kitchen with local ingredients and very crafty chef. Goes without saying — the wine list is very impressive and a perfect match to the food. Very casual vibes inside, pleasant contrast to often stuffy Burgundy restaurants. Make sure to reserve a table in advance, it’s sold out every night.

Terrible service - don't waste your time here with so many better choices nearby! The owner clearly doesn't care about customers or being nice ("eat, now pay & get out!"). Place was almost empty and he was "very busy" sharing a bottle with his friends at another table... We asked for suggestions on the wine list and he literally replied "Pick whatever, I don't have 1 hour to waste...". In a wine bar!!! So we just ordered a salad and a glass of wine and felt so unwelcome that we left to have dinner somewhere else ("Caves de la Madeleine", next door), where we had a super nice evening! tl;dr: salad was ok and the wine selection is great, too bad the owner has zero interest in his non-local customers.

While the wine shop part might deserve 4 or even 5 stars, the restaurant certainly does not. The food is good, but quite overpriced for what you get. Especially today's meal of the day was an example for this: Porc meat of a quality that is definitely not keeping up with what I am used from restaurants in France for a solid 28€. The charcuterie was surely good but also nothing that we found for a considerably lower price elsewhere. The wine selection was excellent. Service friendly and welcoming.

Really have no idea how this restaurant has positive reviews. We should have taken notice of several warning signs and left before having a terrible, overpriced meal. 1. Out of perhaps 20 people in the restaurant, very few were French 2. I ordered a 2015 (good vintage) wine only to have the proprietor, after going to his cave, bringing a 2016 vintage and telling me that it was comparable 3. The menu had only one choice for a plat 4. One of the two page menu was devoted to advertising canned goods that they had for sale The restaurant advertises itself as being farm to table. The haricot salad appeared to contain canned beans that were for sale in the restaurant - in addition to 1/2 of the menu being devoted to advertising canned goods for sale, one wall of the restaurant had the goods on display. Further, most of these products were canned sardines, etc from Portugal and Spain The one main dish on the menu, confit canard, was too salty to eat and we left about half. Our experience in eating in small restaurants in France is that the proprietors will ask you if everything is good. In this case, even though we left a large amount of food on the plate, the owner never asked whether we liked the food. After paying, I told him that I was going to write a negative review and he did not seem to care. There are many excellent restaurants in Bourgogne, do not waste your money on this place

We had 5 wines by the glass, didn't like any of them (unlike the four other wine bars). Food is mostly canned products from the shop. Doesn't seem like a good option in Beaune.

Friendly welcome and warm ambiance. Outstanding wine list. Delicious food using local.ingredients. Outstanding cheese. Overall, a fun, memorable meal.

Incredible selection of wines, friendly staff, good food. It is a casual setting, which I like. the food is good but not extraordinary and therefore the pricing of the food is in my opinion too steep recently. Also the door does not close properly, so in the colder months, sitting close to the door can be uncomfortable, as there is a constant current of cold air (maybe a curtain could help?).

The setting is beautiful and atmosphere was lovely. We had a delicious and reasonably priced bottle of wine here from a very large wine menu with a vast range of types and price tags. We decided not to eat our dinner here given the small choice of small plates (of mostly meats and cheeses) but enjoyed some delicious pittas with humour. The service was a little slow but worth the wait. Recommend a visit here in the beautiful Beaune!

A beautiful wine cellar restaurant. Service was prompt. Not fast but measured. Jean, meets me and seats me and is always available to ensure a very nice time is had. Snails with garlic cream sauce, beef cheeks bourgoignon was fantastic. Cheese after. Lovely meal, excellent wine by the glass pairings. They wrote down the cheese to remember. Epoisse.

This place was phenomenal. The wine list is overwhelming, but the amazing staff will help you through it. The food is memorable and the cave atmosphere is just right. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area. Make sure to get the cheese course!

Fine dining with heart—and some of the best service I’ve encountered in France this year. I walked in unannounced at noon on a Wednesday just to ask about a reservation. Before I could ask for the cellar which was recommended at another venue, they had booked me in that room. When I returned that evening, dressed differently and hours later, they remembered me and treated me like an old friend. From the kir royal aperitif I ordered on arrival to the amuse-bouche that kicked things off, the experience was thoughtful from start to finish. I ended up with perfectly cooked crunchy asparagus, tender chicken, and a cheese plate to close. Each course was paired patiently with wine suggestions that were spot-on. What really sets 21 Boulevard apart is the staff. They appeared at exactly the moments I needed them and never more. It was Michelin-level attention to detail and an uncanny spatial awareness—everyone was attuned, responsive, and deeply professional without being stiff. There’s clearly a strong work ethic and a real teamwork going on behind the scenes, yet the mood was calm. This is the kind of place you take people you want to impress. Absolutely recommend.

Lovely, classy restaurant with delicious food. There are separate dining areas (including the cute cave area and also a terrace, so be sure to decide prior if you want to sit particularly in one of these areas). There is a VERY extensive wine book, with most wines offered by the bottle, and a handful also by the glass. We went for the four-course menu - all delicious and good serving sizes. Would recommend.

We booked this restaurant at fairly short notice for a mid week dinner. The restaurant has a number of separate dinning areas. The one that were in had maybe seven tables and featured a vaulted ceiling. On the evening that we visited everyone in this section spoke English as a first language. The food featured classical Burgundy dishes such as escargot, Oeufs en meurette, Boeuf Bourguignon etc. The food was fine not amazing but nothing to complain about. We live part of the year in Burgundy and have done so for nearly 20 years. Maybe if you are new to the area or a first time visitor you would be more impressed. To us it felt a little like an upscale tourist restaurant. Total cost €250 for four course and one bottle of wine for two people.

Amazing experience with a birthday party of 7 people. We had a private area and very attentive staff which did not lack humor and charm. We were impressed with the quality of food and wine and would come back anytime.

Exceptional food, with an even better service. The escargot (snail) and the bourguignon are one of the best dishes I've had.

Slightly off the beaten path, so it is quiet and feels secluded. If you want crowds and cars, go 50 meters and turn the corner. The menu features regional specialties and custom creations. The wine list is spectacular, from local bargains to bank-busting superstar wines. I had resolved to skip dessert but the choices forced me to get a praline tart. No regrets. Service was that peculiar balance of being responsive while allowing privacy to the table. The courses were excellent (I had the roast chicken and I recommend it). We shall return when next in Beaune and will take a detour when in the area.

Really great and well done menu (very tasty, traditional but interesting, everything cooked to perfection). Extremely extensive wine menu (on the pricy side, but fair for the region). Nice service. Authentic experience.

Cozy place near the central park of the city. I tried the beef Bourguignon and it did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly, but only the manager spoke a bit of english. The prices are a bit high but I think it was worth it. Very nice list of wines with some that are very pricey. I definitely recommend it.

Unfortunately we had unfriendly staff on our visit. The food was OK and a bit pricey for the region. The meat dishes were more exciting then the fish dishes. We found the menu to be local which was positive.

We dined at Le Bistro de L'Hôtel and opted for the tasting menu for two, primarily for the highly sought-after Bresse chicken, a dish that is hard to come by despite its premium price. Given the cost, I expected the restaurant to be classified as fine dining; however, the service did not meet the standards one would anticipate from such an establishment. While the food itself was delicious, the service fell short, lacking even the basic attentiveness one might find at a casual bistro. Here are a few specific points that contributed to our disappointing experience: Reservation and Seating: I made a reservation online over a month in advance, complete with a credit card deposit. On the day of our visit, I was the first to arrive, yet we were seated at a table directly in front of the staircases—far from an ideal spot. It was disheartening to see later arrivals being assigned more desirable seats by the windows, particularly when they were a party of two. Service and Communication: Each dish was served by a different waiter or waitress, and none of them took the time to introduce the dishes. This lack of communication left us unsure about what we were eating unless we referred to the tasting menu ourselves. For a restaurant of this caliber, I consider this to be a fundamental oversight. Bresse Chicken Service: When the Bresse chicken was served, the staff began cutting it beside our table without any notification. We had no idea the chicken being prepared was for us until we saw someone slicing it. Clear communication in this regard is crucial, especially in a fine dining setting. Wine Pricing: The wine prices were excessively marked up, reaching up to three times the normal retail price. While it's common for restaurants to mark up wine, a threefold increase is excessive and should be approached with caution if you plan to enjoy a bottle during your visit. Overall, our experience at Le Bistro de L'Hôtel was quite disappointing, and I cannot recommend it. The combination of excellent food and subpar service left much to be desired. For a restaurant that positions itself as fine dining, the service should be equally refined to match the quality of the food.

Fabulous meal! Amazing service and extremely voluminous wine menu. The waiters were always attentive. We came for the bresse chicken and it was definitely worth it. The patio was lovely.

Four of us at the hotel and on the second night decided to try their bistro. We are so glad we did. The service, quality of food and wine selection was amazingly top shelf. Of course we enjoyed the roast chicken for two which was out of this world. We also enjoyed fresh cod, veal kidneys, escargot and the best frites we have experienced yet. Wine selection is massive. The staff were very attentive the whole night and enhanced our experience. Highly recommend and worthy of the 5 star rating. They earned it. .

We made the booking by stopping by in person while only the pizza place attached next door was open. I thought for sure they would say “just call back later” but the guy at the pizza place walked out, around the corner and in to the closed restaurant to get the bookings register to take our reservation. We ordered the chefs tasting and a bottle of wine. They did a spin on the Bourgogne oeuf by serving it with a heap of truffles and the Bresse chicken was whole roasted and carved tableside, quite spectacular. The crepe Suzette was also flambeed tableside. Best combination of food and service we received over four days eating in Beaune. I would go back once on every visit.

The Bresse whole roast chicken was easily one of the best meals I have ever eaten. With plenty to share between two of us, the chicken was carved at the table and served in it's own juices. A totally unique flavour.

Ok. This is a must visit restaurant if you are into classic Burgundy cuisine. The food is fantastic and the wine list makes you drool just to peruse it. Dining here is not inexpensive but oh is it worth the splurge. The Bresse chicken for 2ppl is the single greatest chicken dish I have ever tasted. It is carved tableside with such mastery that it looks like you are watching a video played back in high speed. As appetizers we had White Asparagus and Snails; for entrees the Charolais Côte de Boeuf (for 2) and Poulet de Bresse (for 2). The beef was great but GET THE BRESSE. Really.

It's not often that a restaurant experience ticks every single box, but this one does. The menu and wine list lived up to every expectation. I credit the wonderful ambience to the staff, who manage to be efficient, sweet and courteous under pressure. I will go out of my way to visit again.

My friend and I entered this award winning restaurant on a whim; however the dishes, the service and the extensive wine list filled our hearts as well as delighting our taste buds. Real care is taken in the preparation of the food; and the result is simply divine. Simple dishes of spectacular quality, with the most wonderful taste and flavour combinations! A delightful and unexpected gem in the heart of Beaune! Bissoh offers a fantastic Japanese dining experience, but let's talk about the wine list, because it is absolutely crazy. In the best way possible! We were astounded by the depth and quality of the selection. For a restaurant in the heart of Burgundy, the cellar is world-class and a true paradise for any wine lover. Every dish was delicious, but the miso aubergine was truly out of this world. It was perfectly cooked, savory, and just melted in your mouth. An absolute must-order! The ambiance is cozy and the service is excellent. If you're looking for a break from traditional French cuisine and want to be blown away by a phenomenal wine list, you have to visit Bissoh. Highly recommended!

Bissoh was the highlight of our trip. This small restaurant serves fantastic food, all freshly prepared, with incredibly fresh fish and mind-blowing Tonkatsu. The owners are very friendly, and the wine list features the best producers in Burgundy. We wanted to book a table for the next night, but unfortunately, they were closed. We absolutely loved this place!

Do not come here if you're vegan or vegetarian. Only one option as a main dish which is some lame tempura with a small bowl of rice. Entree were rolls filled with wasabi and some unidentified vegetable and two pieces of fried eggplant topped with miso. €55.

We loved the quality, the precision and the details. The sushi and sashimi was most likely the best we have had in Europe, melt in your mouth delicate. All the food was delectable. The service was friendly, accommodating and efficient even when the small restaurant was packed full and they were clearly working very hard to provide such service. It’s clear that the ingredients are painstakingly sourced and chosen with care. The wine list is mind blowing. If you are not looking for a gastronomic experience with a wine selection that makes sommeliers cry you should find another restaurant. In response to the people complaining about portion sizes, have you never eaten at a gastronomic restaurant before? We left full and happy. We will definitely be back next time we are in Beaune. Don’t hesitate to reserve as it’s a small cosy place, and I highly recommend sitting at the bar so you can enjoy watching the chef.

We made our reservation well in advance based on the fantastic reviews. We were not disappointed. Mathieu is the owner, chef and server he manages to deliver a fantastic experience for all guests in a relaxed setting. We enjoyed the weekly menu with a good bottle of local wine. Amazing tastes. Lovely intimate setting. We started with an aperitif each, both fantastic. Then a local red wine chosen by the chef. They had 2 set menus , we had both. Perfectly cooked duck leg with crispy skin and a superb beef bourgogne with mashed potatoes. Sauces and sides fresh and perfectly cooked. The desert was wonderful as well. I am sorry I can't give 6 stars. We reserved this before our trip, best meal so far. WOW. If we ever come back to Beaune, we will book well ahead because you absolutely need a reservation. This is an amazing restaurant with a great host/chef. There are two main courses to choose from during lunch hours (reservations are highly recommended). One course is a local cuisine while the other is the chefs rotating course. Both course were great, the starters were simple yet full of flavor while the mains were delicious. The meats were tender and packed full of delight. The host who is also the chef was amazing and made the whole lunch great. This is definitely worth a try if you are in the area.

Well, what can I say? You must put this place on your to-do list if you're visiting Beaune. The food was amazing, the service was great and the wine suggestion for our lunch was perfect and the most amazing thing is the owner Mathieu is your chef, waiter, maitre d, barista, kitchen hand and I assume dishy. He does not skip a beat wearing all of these hats executing your 3 course dining experience like a true professional. We had the permanent menu of Berthaut Epoisses tart (cheese tart), Beef Beef Bourguignon, and blackcurrant cream/gingerbread nonette. All 3 courses we're absolutely amazing and if we had the time we would go back for the other 3 course menu which changes regularly. Remember to book, though, as he has limited capacity to ensure his guests get the best experience possible. Thank you Matthew you're an absolute legend!! 👏👏👏

We visited this restaurant at lunchtime and had the Menu Chauvin. It was exceptional- an exquisite cheese tart to start, followed by a beautiful and rich beef bourginon, and finished with a lovely blackcurrant cream with ginger cake. We had white and red wine by the glass , both were perfect with the food . The service could not have been better and unbelievably the owner does single handedly ! Cooking , serving and being the perfect host ( even helping with my French which I am desperately trying to get better at ) a truly lovely dining experience .

What a perfect small restaurant. We had been watching the weekly menu changes on instagram before our arrival and we were not disappointed. The quality of the food was perfect, the service was spot on, and this is from a one man show so it is quite amazing. There are two choices on the menu. Either the weekly special or the permanent choice of beef bourgignon. Mathieu gave excellent recommendations on both the food and wine and we were so pleased with everything. It is part of our weekly routine while we are here!

I wish google allowed decimal ratings. My short description: Atmosphere with few tables is great. Chef/waiter is fantastic and everything feels personal and very friendly. Two fixed menu options that i thought are very reasonably priced. I would have expected higher price for this type of setup. Wine list short and I think good with Chef ready to help. One small issue I thought. Dishes offered on the menu were prepared well. But I think with this type of setup maybe choices could be more creative and that would definitely be unbelievable experience. I would come back to try new changing menu though

Wish I had a place like this in my neighborhood! We liked the more inventive "entrees" over "plats," a vegetable take on Pate en Croute and a puree of peas. French couples dining to our right ordered escargot.

Our Airbnb host recommended here, saying it’s one of the oldest and most loved restaurants/bars in town. We tried to get a table without a reservation on our first night but couldn’t. However thankfully, the waiter helped us book for the next day, so we came back. The food was fantastic, and the wine list was reasonably priced. My husband and I ordered 2 different courses to share everything and literally every dish was amazing. Service was excellent as well — especially the female staff with glasses, who was very helpful. If you want to experience traditional Bourgogne-style cuisine, this is the place to go.

Excellent food! The chef (cook) over-exceeded all expectations. Such variety of flavors combined with well-cooked dishes - is a dream for foodies. Service was great too - we did not reserve, but team was very attentive and told us what time table would be free. Great ambience, delicious food and attentive waiters - made whole experience proper 5 star! And also price value is unbeatable for fine dining level style - 3 course menu for 28 euro and 4 course for 40 euro.

Just loved this little gem of a discovery. Isabelle and the team of four that make this petite restaurante pop with flavour and tastes. Best meal and service I’ve had in France across the last two weeks. And that is saying something as the French know a lot about service.

Five of us ate here to celebrate a birthday, so we were not holding back! The service, food and wine were exceptional and we were pleased we went with their recommendation on the 1er Cru Fixin with our steaks. Whilst not cheap, we felt our meals and dining experience was good value and look forward to returning soon. Thank you.

This place falls below the radar of most travel blogs, so it took a while before we noticed it. Outstanding food, including the best sweetbreads we've ever had - perfectly fried with a nice sauce and accompaniments. Also, a great opportunity to sample higher-end local wines by the glass, which is not easy to find elsewhere. So we were able to have nice Meursault, Nuits St. Georges and Cotes de Beaune premier crus.

Weekday lunch. High quality Burgundian cuisine at a reasonable price. Local wine by glasses available which was perfect for lunch. Both the veal tongue terrine and lamb were delicate and delicious. Very attentive and kind owner. Will certainly return.

4.1* on google is an accurate rating - service was ok, seems filled with tourists. What I was shocked at was the lack of flavour from the beef tartare. Chose this place as a last resort as other restos were fully booked and it was close to our Airbnb.

We had a wonderful dinner with the children. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy. The church was right across the street, which made the setting even more special.

By a little side street lovely restaurant with a great terrace. We had a typical “Bourguignon” diner and loved it. The escargot in the garlic sauce was great and the beef bourguignon was fab. We have since then tried at least 3 other similar dishes. And that was the best !!!

Friendly staff and for a french standards very good english speaking. Food was good , we had the burger and the cheeks , the home made fries were weird but nice. They had a nice interior and offxourse a wine cellar. Dog friendly it was hot and he got water.

Tourist trap. Unfriendly and extremely expensive, even more than the center of Paris! The food was good, yes, but the person serving us did not bother to hide his annoyance. He made faces when we would request stuff and though I understand it was a hot day, the man was dripping in sweat which was quite unpleasant. We only ordered water and entreès, as the mains were unreasonably expensive. Definitely not worth the price

My first and fav meal in Beaune because of the ambience and the delicious food. Upon walking around the little alleys and streets, this place just stood out. It seemed to have the best little outdoor area in a sunny patch overlooking a church or museum that just made you want to dine there- next time I’d love to sit by the big open window, seemed like the best seat in the house. I had a nice beef bourguignon and couple types of vino and crème brûlée and epoissons for dessert, all which were great. Next time would like to try the razor clams. Only thing is that they don’t really acknowledge you when you’re standing around for a table for 10 min while they walk past you, but once you’re seated it’s fine.

I don’t think this is a bad restaurant, but I did have the steamed cod that tasted putrid, like ammonia. The taste was so strong I got my friend to taste it and she agreed that it tasted sour. They were nice enough to offer a replacement (which I no longer had appetite for) and took the cost off the bill. The eggs in white wine sauce was nice though, and my friend’s duck breast was flavorful. I think it might be good to tread carefully if fish is your choice here.

A well-cooked, hearty meal for a great price! Salmon with lemon/curry sabayon, pork cheek with gingerbread and mashed potatoes and the rum baba were some standout dishes. No frills, just good food. Service was quick and wine selections were nice.

Absolutely superb. The service was first class from both our waiters. The food was well presented and full of flavour. The wine they recommended was also excellent. Wish we had room to try desert. Very reasonable pricing as well offering great value for high end food.

3.7S **** Side note, the Royal Kir here was a bit lackluster, also service took for-e-ver despite the restaurant being not very full. The starter, while very pretty, didn't have a very interesting flavor profile. It wasn't bad, just a tad disappointing. The main was okay, nothing more. The first dessert was okay as well, it didn't pack the punch that I expected and felt a bit lacking. The second dessert on the other hand, thank goodness I ordered it, because it was truly special. Such rich and complex flavors, a real treat through and through. That dessert singlehandedly boosted my experience to a 4 star total, so good on ya'.

Amazing food and service. We don't speak any French and our waitress was very accommodating and friendly, even though the restaurant was full and there was a function upstairs. The food was very special. The dishes were delicious and simple, letting the fresh local ingredients shine. I was also astonished how cheap our meal was - I was surprised that the fixed price menu gave a choice of any dish on the menu. For 32 Euro, this was outstanding value. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the region.

We came for a quick lunch and had a wonderful mushroom risotto. We weren’t overly hungry so we split one portion and they split it in half so we each had our own plate which was great!

Great food and nice decorations but we had to wait way too long... Although the staff couldn't handle the amount of people they didn't refuse more customers and there was no excuse whatsoever...

Excellent food, if you like beef, go for the Onglet de Boeuf.. I recommend this place. 3 service lunch menu is around 32€.. I would come back here if I visit the city again.

Small cosy place thay serves up a great value and quality set lunch

Stopped in after wine tasting and had a nice white and amazing lunch. The food felt upscale while the atmosphere felt relaxed and inviting. We were surrounded by a few groups of locals who'd met up for lunch and in all the experience was a good one. I also loved that they used herb followers in the details of things like their desserts and salads.

Highly recommended (but only if you eat pork of course, le goret translates to piglet after all :) Most memorable dining experience in our three weeks in France - very personal approach, daily menu, big and fantastically delicious plates! No kids menu but they're happy to accommodate.

3 months in Beaune, month 3. A pork lovers paradise. Great atmosphere - the owner/chef greets you in chain mail. Limited menu, great wine cellar where you can choose your own bottle.

The people were very friendly and the service was good but the food was awful and made me feel sick, it was very fattening and had little flavour as well as the only vegetables being a tiny bowl of salad which consisted of 3 leaves and tons of cream dressing. The portions were huge and I felt as though if I ate it all I would consume my whole days worth of calories. The other reviews were very misleading, I would not recommend this restaurant for a nice evening out.

Been here for a quick lunch. Service was very good and fast. Knowledgable staffs with proper table service. We went with a 3 course lunch menu, each dish were of top quality and extraordinary flavours in the cuisine. They also offer a wide selections of Burgundy wines to pair with different dishes. Highly recommended and definitely need to reserve in advance!

Delicious food very well presented by this talented chef. Great service and wine. The restaurant is contemporary and spotlessly clean. Overall, I would award it four and a half stars. Only deduction of half a star is nothing about the food, it’s for the artificial flower arrangements, which detract from the excellent standard of everything else about this restaurant.

Just a short walk from the town center, the restaurant has a beautiful patio outside and an elegant interior. Each dish was well presented and executed and very balanced in flavor and texture. I am usually not one to rave about the dessert but I had their ice cream made from Epoisses, a local pungent soft cheese, and really enjoyed it. Both gentlemen serving us were very attentive and one of them spent some time chatting with us about travels to Japan. Overall we really enjoyed the experience and would recommend them if you are in the Beaune area.

The restaurant was recommended to us by friends. The rating on Google Maps is also inviting. The only restaurant in this Beaune suburb promises a high standard. Few places inside and outside require a reservation. The menu offers classic French cuisine. There is a choice of three three-course menus, which, depending on the price, enable an ever-increasing selection of dishes from the menu. We were very satisfied with the appetizer and dessert. The main course weakened significantly and fell off. Unfortunately, the service was also a bit rustic and not of the level that we had hoped for. On Friday I was out of the rabbit hole, which was communicated without sympathy. The cutlery was also rather "thrown down" than lovingly placed. There was no rose by the glass. All in all a maximum of 4 stars

Wonderful find in this lovely village just outside Beaune. Recommended by our host at Fleurs des Vignes and we were not disappointed. Great menu, great service and all freshly prepared. Nice change from the touristy central Beaune restaurants.

An eccentric restaurant densely populated by alabaster animals, the majority being cats. Despite the kitsch, the food was outstanding and moderately priced. We chose the €35 menu which gave us a choice from three dishes per course. All our selections were excellent. There was a large group of locals in the restaurant which gave the place a relaxed, fun atmosphere.

We had such a great lunch at L’episode, right in the center of Meursault. They offer a really nice set menu that’s very reasonably priced, with just a few dishes that come with a small supplement if you want something extra special. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious: foie gras, steak tartare, quail, and burrata with tomatoes. And the gougères (cheese puffs) as a free appetizer were sooo good. So much flavor and beautifully prepared. What really made the experience stand out was the owner. He was incredibly friendly, thoughtful, and happy to help us figure things out despite our not-so-perfect French. He cracked jokes, shared great tips for local wine tastings, and even had excellent taste in music. This is honestly the kind of place you just want to keep coming back to. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the value for money is fantastic. Highly recommend.

This was the best dinner we had in the week we spent in Burgundy! Nico was awesome, the music and decor was super fun, and the food was outstanding. Great wine selection and great prices. All the courses were great but some highlights were the perfect egg (We had three different restaurants with a perfect egg and this was the best), the special was scallops and they were beautiful with a perfect sauce and side of mashed potatoes, and the chicken with the epoisses cheese sauce with potato rostie was the best of it all. Can’t recommend this place higher, and I am writing this while in the restaurant while listening to the best 80s soundtrack ever. Great job Nico. Cheers

Went to this boutique restaurant couple times during our stay in Meursault, once a wine pairing dinner, and the second time a leisurely lunch. We truly loved it both times - the food was Fantastic, the wine list superb, and most of all, owner and sommelier Nick makes everyone feel right at home with his French charm and fluent English. We came as customers and left the place like friends and family!

This place you should not miss! The food is delicious, the atmosphere very fun and informal and the service is super friendly. Even for our little daughter they made something she loved. Oh and the wines I should not forget, they serve the best of the area. And they know what matches the food perfectly. Bravo a l’equipe!

On a business trip driving through France, my colleague and I just wanted to grab a “quick” dinner on the way — and ended up in this fantastic place. The food? A clear 10/10. But what could top that? The outstanding service and great entertainment! A big thank you to Nico for making it such a memorable evening. We actually stayed for almost three hours, and as I quoted the “Terminator (Degustator)”: I’ll be back!

The waiter was not welcoming although I pointed out at the empty table. He starred explaining that they had only one cook and it looked like he would be happy with one guest, too. Wine of poor quality but pizza quite good. The best feature of the place is its view on a quiet passage with historic buildings and ivy covered walls.

We booked late and was a sunny day with nice outdoors space and beautiful surroundings. More kids friendly than many of the surrounding French restaurants. The pizza was good, but really couldn’t recommend the wine or cocktails.

Called the restaurant to book a reservation for tonight and were confirmed for 8:30 pm indoors for two people. Went to the restaurant and the owners ignored us for 10 minutes while we waited outside, only to be informed that there was only room for us outside (it was about to rain, too), no room inside at all. Restaurant looked like a dumpy hole-in-the-wall location, definitely not up to the standards of other restaurants in the Beaune central area. The Owners got upset with us once we decided to walk away to find somewhere else to eat. Moral of the story: don’t tell customers you have room for them and then treat them like garbage when they come to give you business. Never again.

We had high expectations and felt like there is room for improvement here. Each course was nicely presented, but each had at least one “thing” that we left us a little disappointed. For example the tortellini was underdone (not al dente, just a little raw dough). The wine pairings were “ok”. The servers often set the dishes down at the wrong angle. Etc. And yes we are being picky, but at 500+ euros each for dinner plus pairings and extras, I feel like picky is appropriate. Just generally the value wasn’t there for the price.

Nice experience overall and staying at the hotel made it very convenient. The service was brilliant from start to finish and we were looked after as soon as we entered. The food was beautifully presented, though it did not excite us - it was fine and sometimes tasty but never truly memorable. The wine pairings were also fine, but we did not receive much information about them beyond origin, possibly due to the language barrier as we do not speak French. There was little explanation about how the wines complemented the food or why they were chosen. For the price, I was hoping for more, but it was still a good visit.

A feast for the palate! This restaurant impresses with extremely fresh products straight from the producer. The wonderfully presented dishes of French cuisine, combined with Japanese and Alpine flavours, are a delight for the senses. An excellent dining experience — outstanding meal, well-chosen wines, and attentive, knowledgeable service. The chef personally greeting guests after dinner to discuss the meal was a refined touch that added real class. I highly recommend the restaurant itself. That said, I would advise against staying at the hotel where the restaurant is located, as the accommodation offers far less value compared to the quality of the dining.

A good restaurant. That is it, you will not regret it and won't leave amazed either. The food was nice and the service quite formal. One big mistake was that we received 2 glasses of white wine already poured... it was the most expensive by the glass option and I expect to see what I am being served.

On my way to finish my 3 stars challenge (follow me for the reviews), we made a stop at Beaune for the night. We were lucky enough to get a table there. So what’s interesting here? A young chef in an old house. Let’s get the old house subject out of the way first. It’s in a beautiful master house, offering several rooms for you to dine. The chef is quite young and although he had some experience, he seems to create his own path. The langoustine is a good example. You can see him exploring and coming up with his own experience. The price is very decent for a one star dinner, even if you take the full menu (that’s what we did). The crowd was very international. May be it was the day, but I guess it’s also because of the city business (wine). Obviously a lot of customers were in the industry. But I think it’s great for couples (I spotted some) because you can easily be in your own bubble. The service got better after a busy beginning and they ended up being extremely nice, even quite touching in one case. It’s a solid one star.

Easily one of the best meals we’ve had in France. The foie gras was the best we’ve ever had, the Dorado was light and delicious with the chorizo and the experience of watching the chef prepare everything in front of us was an added touch of fun. The (lone) chef is a true artist! Had the accidental pleasure of sitting at the chefs table, where it was visible how the chef prepared by himself all perfectly cooked meals, all by instinct using no timers. All dishes were a masterpiece, but the mussels were the best ever in terms of taste and doneness.

This was such a fantastic dining experience and I would highly recommend you don't miss this place. We made a reservation a few weeks in advance and were not disappointed. The best seat in the house was at the counter where we got to witness the chef in action. He is a true master and the technique and flair with which he cooked were so fun to watch. You definitely should make reservations as you don't want to miss this experience. I would try to get a seat where you can watch the chef. The wine list was amazing and the selection of food was perfect. Be ready when you enter the restaurant as you might be treated to an amuse-bouche as we were and it was amazing. It was something like liquid parmesan cheese and just exploded with incredible flavors in your mouth. The lady who I believe was his wife was so helpful in assisting us in selecting our meal along with some wine selections. There was also a younger gentleman who was very attentive and had excellent input on our selections and wine choices as well so the combination was perfect. It was the best way to experience a true French meal from an incredible chef.

This place in Meursault is a bit hidden; right off a big road and the entrance isn’t super obvious. Let me start by saying: the wines here are genuinely excellent and a lot of them surprisingly affordable. Not cheap, of course, but even for €50 or €60 you can get a great bottle. They also give good advice about what to drink, the sommelier was very kind. Unfortunately, the rest of the service feels quite cold and uninterested. They clear plates incredibly fast and rush the courses one after the other. It’s honestly such a pity. The menu is very, very small. You can pick either a three-course or six-course menu, but if you go for six courses, you basically just get all the available dishes; there’s no real choice. The gougères (cheese puffs) and amuse bouches (appetizers) we got — they’re free of charge — were very good and made us think we were off to a great start. But the dishes were unfortunately really underwhelming. The menu felt dated and uninspired; like getting iceberg lettuce on a stick (seriously?!) as a side with the pasta. The first course with the crispy soft boiled egg was okay, but the carrot and dill sauce was a bit weird. The main course was especially bad: rigatoni pasta that was undercooked, a bisque that was cooked way too far, truffle that tasted like nothing — overall flavors that just didn’t work. To top it off, we both felt unwell afterwards. The setting is quite pretty but also feels cold and lifeless. Not exactly the kind of place that makes you want to stay for a long dinner. Which is such a pity, because the wines are EXCELLENT — they deserve a much warmer, more thoughtful experience.

If you fancy wine, this is the place to go. They have a big variety of wines to choose for a reasonable price which is cheaper than buying it at a local wine shop. The service is great, and the food was delicious! Order it could be crowded and pretty loud for a fine dining restaurant. I must say the food was absolutely delicious and pairing was divine that they have. It was a perfect match.

Le Soufflot was an absolute gastronomical triumph! If you find yourself in Burgundy, this restaurant must be on your list of essential dining experiences. We chose the 6-course menu at 90 euros per person and had a truly enjoyable meal filled with great conversation. Their "bible"-sized wine list is a work of art in itself, and I highly recommend ordering a bottle or two, as they are very reasonably priced. The service was also impeccable; the team masterfully managed the pacing and plating of each dish, meticulously explaining everything as it was served. Despite our last-minute changes to the number of diners, they were exceptionally accommodating. Without a doubt, this is one of my top spots in all of Burgundy!

Amazing restaurant in the heart of Meursault. This restaurant offers a wine list for low prices. This is their policy and therefore they have an exceptional impressive list. We had the full Monty menu, what we highly recommend. We loved every dish. Service professional en helpfull. We loved it!

One of the best experiences you can have in Beaune! We were able to schedule a tour and visit the same day, and we were so grateful! Our tour guide, Oliver, was fantastic! He was fun and knowledgeable and had so much to share. A great place to try something local to Beaune and a place where it is evident that they take pride in everything they do. It has been a highlight of our trip to France so far. A must visit!

We booked the tour online, which included both an informational tour and a mustard-making workshop. The tour itself was informative, with videos and a self-guided audio section in their small display area. The mustard-making workshop, however, was a lot simpler than expecte. We just mashed some seeds with vinegar, so it wasn’t quite what I thought it would be. The highlight was definitely the tasting at the end. We were able to sample at least two dozen different mustards, and the staff were amazing, friendly, enthusiastic, and very encouraging about trying as many varieties as we wanted. Even though the tasting area could get a little crowded, it flowed smoothly, and you don’t actually need to take the tour to enjoy the tasting (it’s free to try). Overall, the workshop itself felt a bit underwhelming, but the tour and especially the tasting experience made it worthwhile. The staff really made the visit a positive one.

An excellent experience! The staff is incredibly helpful and fluent in English. The tour is engaging and interactive—you even get to make a small batch of mustard yourself and enjoy a tasting session. There’s also a tasting bar, allowing you to sample different mustard flavors before deciding which to buy. With so many unique varieties available, it’s a must-visit!

During a weekend trip with friends, we decided to discover this mustard manufacturer that it has been in fact, a family business for generations. The visit was excellent, our guide was very friendly and educational. There’s the possibility to do the visit in multiple languages such as French, English and German. By the end of the visit you can buy the incredible and delicious mustards you got to try. I totally recommend, a must do if you visit Beaune!

The boss is very friendly and nice. The dishes are very distinctive Asian cuisine. Grilled pigeon is an absolute gem of the town, one of the best dishes I've ever had! Sushi is also one of the specialty dishes in the store, and we tried almost all kinds of sushi in the store, even more authentic than the local Japan. It is a restaurant that should not be missed when visiting southern France！

I ate Credible Japaness foods in France small city. Even though I ordered the Hutomaki which iss't in menu, he served it without any hesitate.👍

Amazing sushi place, fresh and original dishes..service nice, friendly and efficient. They obviously serve good local wine! We had a huge platter with different types of raw fish: nigiri, sashimi and makis. Kids are for a 2nd of gyoza. As any good sushi place, bill is not cheap, but we ate a lot and spent an excellent evening there.

Very good Japanese restaurant in Beaune ! Surprising Miso soup with pieces of fish inside and very tasty gyoza ravioli. I suggest the eggplants marinated with a mix of sauces. Sashimi is ok but it’s not outstanding.

We just had a wonderful dinner here at sushi Kai. I'm Asian so I get quite picky with Asian restaurants, we are so glad to have fund this little gem in Beaune. It is a little further out but we don't mind as we are away from the tourists, the food is wonderful and also reasonably priced. There is also a beautiful secret Japanese garden at the back! We had edamame and seaweed for starter, belly pork and chicken tonkatus for mains, matcha mochi ice-cream and panacotta for pudding.. Unfortunately no room in our belly for sake! 😭😂 The waiter and waitress are lovely, kind and polite. Also while we were there they also looked after a wonderfully sweet street cat, the story about the kitty is heart warming. ♥️😺 Great food, beautiful setting, lovely and kind hearted people. What more can you ask for? We will come back again and again, see you next year!

The food was pretty good. However I’m left with a bitter taste after being charged 32 EUR for a glass and the subsequent response to a related review. This is a warning to other diners that this restaurant will take NO responsibility if a glass breaks at your table. We had no idea this was a rule as the glass broke while we were sitting down BEFORE we even opened the menu and the server said nothing to us. I understand the concept and would have even split the cost but we were slapped with the addition to our bill at the very end. A few simple ways to avoid this: 1. Maybe do not bunch the glasses on the table and then place the large menu right below the glasses and hanging off the table. The space is tight and the tables are small so a bigger risk for taller guests. 2. Place the glasses after the guests are seated, or seat the guests and then hand them the menus. 3. Use sturdier glassware that doesn’t shatter upon falling onto the table. The glass broke after falling less than its actual height. Clearly this happens frequently enough for this rule to be imposed but this was not a negligent or careless act and so it seems an easy way to take advantage of your unwitting guests. We’ve dined at many fine restaurants and never had this happen so very disappointed in the handling of this accident which really should be a cost of doing business at this price point, unless it’s a result of deliberate or careless behavior.

My review is based on our seating. We reserved a table for 6:30 which was the first seating and while the restaurant was empty, we were seated in the back room opposite the cleaning closet. When we left there was seating available in the front though the impression is that tourists were seated in the back room. The food was excellent but atmosphere in the back room is non-existent. What a shame!

We had excellent wine and food here but we were charged 32 Euro(!!) for a glass that broke upon my husband sitting down at because of the way the hostess had placed the menu on the table. We had not touched a single thing on the table. He just sat down. There was no warning of this charge. It just appeared on our bill. We were so shocked and horrified we were stunned into silence. We went here based on a recommendation from a local expert and she will not be recommending La Maufoux going forward after we told her about this policy. Shame as the poulet was excellent.

It's a nice place but for me not 5 stars like. There are several things to mention. Service overall was not very friendly. When they serve another bottle of wine, tasting should go with a new glas. The food is well prepared but according to the price I would expect a bit more creativity as well as even just 4 dishes were already a bit to much.

Everything was perfect from arrival until we left full and happy. Beautiful view. Friendly and attentive service. Amazing food in both taste and visual. Celebrated our son’s 5th birthday and children menu was great too - and dessert served with a candle to blow. Absolutely perfect - thank you!

Extremely Disappointed service. (the waiter with big 🧔‍♂️ beards was really nice. Apologize for not remembering your name). Our flight got delayed and we sent email to notify the restaurant hours in advance. After 17hours flight, We rushed from Paris to the restaurant And we were really sorry about it. (So we ate really fast and was not the last one left the restaurant) However, one of the waiters was poker face for the whole night. Showed he’s greatest reluctance to us. Not willing to answer any questions, make large noise while was placing the plates etc. serving people like he’s going to punch them in their face the next second The worst service I’ve ever expected. when came to wine serving, we were so shocked that he basically pour more than half glass…what a waste man! We were not there for binge drinking! We requested if he could pour less for the next round, he’s face turned double poker 🙂 Food was soso. The scallops are more too salty. As we didn’t have the breads, we asked politely if we could pack it and take away to avoid food waste. That waiter just took the plates and threw the bread on the table and told us we can bring it home. Oh well. Thank you for your hospitality. This is my first time ever complained about anyone right away in a restaurant. Would never recommend this place to anyone as long as the guy still works there. Thanks.

2022 Dinner was rather noisy esp when full in main dining room but food quality maintained. Wine lists need updating with many direct allocations drunk up. Book ahead. 2021 Great place for lunch...delicious dishes Inc desserts. Wide range of meursaults and selected reds. Very well priced too

Stunning meal, service and atmosphere. Gosh, what a wonderful experience, would highly recommend coming here. Everyone was really welcoming, service was unobtrusive but always there when you needed it, and food was delicious! English is spoken here.

Loved this place. So relaxing and furnished in a 'your own front room' style, which I adored. We sampled 4 wines by the glass and asked to buy one of them to take home to UK. Substantial wine list by the bottle. A mix of tourists and locals and everyone served well. Also enjoyed meeting 'Mr Whiskey' (a Beaune legend) at the bar. Would highly recommend and this would definitely be my local if I lived in Beaune.

Cozy wine bar, relaxed vibes. Some nice outside seating. Wine list is strong, reaching from regional appellations to Grand Crus. Very fair mark ups. Our Roulot Meursault was spot on. Charcuterie (salami and beef rillettes) were also immaculate. The sort of wine bar you wish to have next door to where you live. Would go again anytime.

If you are not french, please stay away from that place. My partner and I were searching for a winery that sells natural wine. We came here and as soon as we opened the door and said “Hello”, the owner said “ Do you speak french? If not then you can go”. Not a wise man for sure! We’ve travelled around the world but this is the first time that we experienced RACIM. Otherwise you guys can go to La Dilettante, much more welcoming :)

This place is special, from the time we arrived until we left the level of service , friendliness and high quality of food made our evening the best dining in France . We have been dining out for the last three weeks and Garum in my opinion is a hidden gem in Beaune! I’ll be back next year for sure !

We came here based on the Michelin guide recommendation. The food was fine but not exceptional or memorable. I’m not convinced it should be on the Michelin guide. But it wasn’t bad! Just not great. You can see in our pictures what we got. The best flavour were the fries and the cheese. The duck was good but I think could be improved. The wines were great. And I would recommend coming but don’t expect the best meal ever!

I thought the food was exceptionally good. I loved my main dish of slowed cooked beef with egg in an intense reduction. Fabulous wine list of course. Great service and beautiful interior. It looks like it has a lovely area to eat outside but it was pouring with rain the night I was there.

Beware that the beef tartar is made with a non-traditional sauce which I can best describe as being in the direction of soy sauce. The waiter described it as home-made using fermented beef, I believe. I didn't like it very much, though it was a fun touch that they would prepare it right at the table. One point that felt off: when ordering, we asked the waiter if ordering four starters would be too much for two people. The waiter encouraged us, saying it was fine to order this. I'm not sure if we were told that it's *allowed* to order it, or if it's *recommended* to order this much. In any case, we were surprised when the beef tartar came with a side of fries — since we had also ordered fries ourselves. We would have appreciated clear information from the waiter that we're ordering the same item twice. We were going to drive in the afternoon, and thus didn't have wine. I got the feeling that our visit would have been better if we had been able to sit and enjoy some champagne and wine on the large terrace. We were looking for a smaller bit, a salad perhaps, but didn't really find it on the menu. This place is better suited for a longer and bigger meal.

The experience was amazing. We dined outside, and the service was perfect. The atmosphere was laid back, classy, romantic vibe. The cuisine was perfect. The duck was delicious! The entire experience was one to remember.

Exquisite yet robust food presided over by a harried but super competent one-man band. Snail starter, and chicken and fish mains, had a particular flair for garnish. Desserts were nice, though simple, but the digestif game is very strong. Brilliant.

Perfect bistro for Sunday evening dinner. Escargots, asparagus and terrine de jambon entrees, followed by escalope de poulet in a rich sauce. All washed down with a Chablis and Cote de Beaune. Excellent in every way❤️

Outstanding quality, contemporary style yet classic dishes. It felt like a truly local place and we got to take time to enjoy our meal. The dishes were delectable from the amuse-bouche to the desert, every last bite was pleasant.

Delightful small restaurant in the heart of Beaune. Great wine list and both set menu and a la carte. The eggs starter, Guinea foul and pear and chocolate crumble were standout delicious. The staff are very friendly and there is a nice atmosphere.

The sun is always shining at Le Soleil making it our favorite restaurant/bar a vins in Burgendy. Great hospitality by Lola, astonishing seasonal dishes by Leila with great combinations of texture, colors and flovors. In combination with Absolutely delicious ( natural/bio) wines each visit has been a treat!

There is no better place to enjoy a long lunch in Beaune than Le Soleil. This amazing restaurant offers a charming and cozy ambiance that makes you feel right at home. I highly recommend ordering a variety of dishes from their menu to share at your table. Their wine list focuses on natural selections and includes some truly fascinating options. The owners' recommendations were outstanding!

Can’t wait to tell people about this place. Amazing dining space with lots of things to look at. Personal and friendly staff that really put time and effort into their food. Amazing wine list, from vin nature to more classic wines. Labneh with ansjovis was our favourite, accompanied by a nice red wine from Simon Rouillard “Minuit” Make sure to bring cash, they can’t accept tip with card.

Seasonal high quality ingredients, local produce and an extensive wine list carry the spirit of burgundy. It’s a great balance between tradition and modernity in a relaxed setting, with an open kitchen to make you feel right at home.

Lola and her team are a shining (🌞!) outpost of small plate cuisine - just order the whole menu if you’re 4 or more. Original wine list with many back vintages from her family’s domaine (Simon Bize) and hand picked favorites from the natural wine world. Reservations are a must, it’s well worth the short drive from Beaune.

The positive reviews perplexed us after eating here. We had high expectations basked on the reviews. Instead, we found the service to be lackluster. Perhaps we were unlucky with menu that week? The plates were small, but too pricey to order several. We were so disappointed that we skipped dessert. We had bad weather so we couldn’t enjoy the nice patio.

We visited in August and the staff were incredibly warm, kind and welcoming. While their wine tasting wasn’t available, they kindly offered to give us a free wine tasting if we just bought a bottle of wine. The wine tasting ended up being of almost 12 different wines (both red and white) from across the entire region and Marco kindly and patiently explained how the different terroirs affected the flavour and aromas of each wine. Overall their service was far above what we expected, and we ended buying a lovely Saint Aubin white wine that we never would have gotten to taste anywhere else. Lovely experience overall - we couldn’t have been happier. Highly recommended!

Great wine tasting. We initially agreed on the 3-wine tasting, but ended up tasting almost 10 I think. They helped us to choose most of them from their selection, and they were amazing. We didn't have to pay for the tasting because we bought some bottles afterwards. I highly recommend, friendly service and a great selection of wines.

Best selection of Burgundy books (in French and English) and great wine maps for famous appellations. This place also has multitudes of wine gadgets, high end corkscrews, a wine shop, and other kind of books. This was a great stop in Beaune!

This shop is perfect to find any book on food or wine. They also sell many gadgets associated with. They have a huge selection and a lot of English books too. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff.

Let me start by saying that the lunch menu is an absolute steal for a Michelin star restaurant. We had a nice lunch in the shades of terrasse and service was very attentive even if the place looked under staffed. I must say that I expected more from the food although it was nice and overall tasty (though the pike fish flan lacked very much in flavour). So to summarise a good experience for the price but not amazing.

We had lunch in this nice restaurant. The 35€ 4 courses lunch menu was ok, not too bad but I think it could have been better for a michelin star. Some dishes were very good, some of them not good. The brochet flan and the mirabel soufle weren t good at all.So depends of your choices.

Amazed over and over with the delicious and delightful food. One amazing dish after another came to our table. The service is friendly, yet very professional, and perfect. The sommelier was very helpful and even suggested some good wineries to visit.

Went to the restaurant for dinner. It was highly overpriced for what we got and feel like we have wasted €300. All in all quite a bad experience. This price included the set food menu and approx 3/4 of a bottle of wine between 2. We did the wine tasting, and the wine matched the food well. However; the wine pairing is very overpriced, costing an extra €60 per person. Whilst the wine was good we only had 4 tiny glasses throughout the meal, as well as a quarter of a bottle of beer for one of the pairings. Paying an extra €120 for two people for this was extortionate. On top of this, the restaurant was boiling with multiple tables complaining and moving outside. When we then asked we were told we could not move for our cheese course (?) but could for our desert. Baffling. The staff were pleasant at times but overall quite rude and unaware when we were out of water/dishes had been finished. Absolutely not what I expected from a Michelin star restaurant and would not recommend. As the last night of our holiday I feel ripped off and quite disgusted with the staff’s approach to our request to move outside and the feedback we provide after the meal. Food was good - great portion sizes and delicious local produce however there is a lot of improvement for them to consider.

After *the* best lunch in 2019 during holiday in the area, I decided to make a detour to go back for lunch again in 2020. The business is clearly hit financially by covid-19. They offer a lunch menu at 35 EUR. 5-6 EUR has gone towards the 4 servings, not more. There is obviously a wasp nest in the lovely garden somewhere. Every table was struggling to eat in peace. Covid-19 financially hit or not, I am having a hard time believing that a michelin started restaurant will put their name to this. As always, a review must finish with something positive. The wine menu is great.

These guys know what they are doing, wine suggestion was on point, food was excelent. We started with cheese profiteroles as an amuse. I could eat a 100 of those. Nice touch that at the bottom of the menu, they thank their suppliers for the bravery of working togheter. 11/10

We had lunch at Atelier Escoffier. All the starters and mains that we ordered were delicious. There’s a great view on the vineyards and the courtyard is just great. The service was excellent: quick, dynamic and friendly.

One of the best dinners we’ve had in Burgundy! The grilled meats, excellent wine selection, and outdoor seating overlooking the vineyard made for a perfectly delicious and fun evening. The ribeye was outstanding, and our server couldn’t have been friendlier. Tips: -- The food menu is posted at the bar (it won’t be brought to your table). --Reservations are a must! --Skip the mayo eggs—I thought they were deviled, but it was literally just mayo on halved boiled eggs. --Bathroom is an outdoor porta-potty-type situation

We have eaten many times st Slanted Door in San Francisco but the Beaune restaurant was far superior to anything we have ever rated at Slanted Door in San Francisco . The quality of the ingredients was exceptional and the service superb. I did not know how truly flavorful freshly made spring rolls could be - every flavor perfect and the crab and cellophane noodles raised this fish to new heights . The sommelier was so knowledgeable and guided us to some of the best wines we had had. When you decide you cannot eat another escargot - go to Slanted Door. Your tastebuds will say thank you !

This is outstanding. Stopped in on a cold rainy night in January and was very glad that I did. We ate in the San Francisco Slanted Door numerous times prior to its recent relocation. The Beaune restaurant is a “collaboration” but higher quality than the SF original. Flavors were much brighter and fresher. Excellent somm as well. Service was highly proficient and thoughtful. I look forward to dining here again next January.

Great Vietnamese resto from SF. Best pho I’ve ever had. Go for it even if it’s a bit out of place. They have an amazing wine list and serve all their bottles by the glass.

A really lovely dinner! Each plate was delicious, but the standout was the daikon rice cake. We enjoyed talking to the sommelier, and felt fine asking for a lower cost bottle from the region. She brought us a lovely vin blanc from Cote d’Beaune. A great ambiance too.

We were excited to try Slanted Door as my wife is Vietnamese, but we found it incredibly disappointing. The food was not inventive at all. The ingredient quality was high, but the flavors and recipes were derivative. They don't offer Pho outside of the winter, which is bizarre as Vietnamese eat it all year round, and it's always hot in Vietnam. Dish-by-dish breakdown: Salmon Crudo - 25 euros for a meagre portion. This dish wasn't really Vietnamese. 2.5/5 taste, 1.5/5 when taking the price into consideration. Shrimp Spring Rolls - 19 euros. You could barely taste the herbs in them, and they used mayo. You get 8 small pieces with very little Shrimp. Nothing special at all about them, similar to what you'd get for 5 euros in any Vietnamese restaurant. 2/5. Crab Glass Noodles - 36 euros. Such a basic dish. Barely any crab of course. Barely any flavor whatsoever, it's like they forgot to sauce it. Pretty much just noodles and some small pieces of crab. Should have cost about 12 euros. 1/5 Chicken Claypot - 36 euros. Tiny portion, way too salty. The flavor of the sauce was good. They need to serve it with something, though. It's just a small pot of about 10 small bites of chicken covered in sauce. Should have cost about 12-15 euros. 1.5/5 Mushroom Side Dish - 14 euros. Surprisingly, a reasonable sized portion of mushrooms for the price. They had nice flavor, but again they were so salty they were hard to finish. 2/5 Service - 2/5 Dessert - We didn't order because none of the 3 dishes were even Vietnamese. They were standard pastries you find around Beaune. Odd. By this point we were over the dinner and ready to head out anyways. We spent over 50 euros per person just on food, and we were still hungry when we left. It felt like quite a tourist trap.

Great service! Amazing waiter who was the image of customer service. The food is very good. Everything home made. We had pizza for the kids, cesar salad and aubergine. Perfect place to stop mid way between Belgium and skiing in France. Totally recommend above anything else in the area

Very Good Italian food. Pasta cooked perfectly al dented. A fun show watching the carbonara prepared in a huge cheese wheel. Lovely ait staff!

Very friendly and good Italian! We stayed near the restaurant at an overnight hotel on our way back from vacation in Spain. We arrived quite late, with 10 people. But the service was excellent, they asked for 5 minutes and cleared two tables for us to take place at. The personnel was very friendly! The guys that baked the pizza's entertained the kids, which was lovely. Everything was possible, some of us (because of the late hour, shared pizzas) and everything was DELICIOUS. (And I've eaten pizza in Italy!) Would definitely recommend!

Best pizza I've had outside of Italy, and better than some in Italy. Staff was amazingly friendly. Definitely get the L'Amorone pizza. A little on the expensive side, but worth it.

We ate at L'Amarone two nights while staying in Beaune and had fabulous meals both nights. We each ordered pizza the first night. Margarita and Tatorria were delicious but we had a lot leftover. Second night we split a Cesar salad and Delioza (sp?) pizza. Both were delicious. Best Cesar salad i have had! Highly recommend!
